A bubble? He didn't know what this bubble was, but making it out of thin air was totally cool. Elated to watch the thing formed to where he could actually see it. A nod before he rubbed his hands together and Separated them slowly. He tried to remember the thing he envisioned when he first made that green fire. He envisioned an imaginary rope of white light. Unraveled. Chaotic. But his focus made the rope repair itself, fiber by fiber. Until the unraveled rope became more like a bar of light. His focus went from the repairer to the cleaver. Rending the rope in twain, both halves traveling away from each other. Only to circumnavigate the hemispheres of his spirit to collide with one another.
Shapeless, chaotic, translucent green light formed between his hands. A wisp. A flame. It flickered weak. The potential Cricket master gritted his teeth in concentration. It's like what the green man did, like what the lizard did. At the same time. Not. Something missing. The rope halves, even as parts of the same whole, did not accept one another. A break through. That weak and stunning flare that floated betwixt his palms. Completed and clear. There pieces were there. Let it assemble itself.
The flame swirled. Untamed tendrils smoothing and merging to the center. The end result, a baseball sized orb. An translucent green shell with solid aquamarine core. He smiled, he did it. Sure the lizard and the green man both did theirs so effortless. He did it once, he can practice to make it easier.
"Like th-"
His question, interrupted by a hard landing and a stirring of dust. His inaugural ki ball dissipated once he focused more on the task of keeping sand out of his eyes. He held his arm up to his face to block any sand, head titled down and away. Second arm hovering over his mouth and nose so he wouldn't breath the stuff in. He dared take a peek at the source of the chaos. A woman with a sword. She appeared human. Something seemed just a tad off. Maybe the fact that she was on fire. A woman that did not seem bothered by the fact she's on fire. Once more, another being that seemed hostile to the lizard man. He stayed put. Even though gears fired in his brain that he should run away. Far far away. Because he has no place in....
Damn. Desert. Politics.
"Whoa. No harsh vibes here, chica. He was just showing me that cool technique" He replied after hearing the words that came from her mouth. But his mouth could not stop there, he had to ask. "So. Like. You know you're on fire, right?"

Defrosch watched as this human before him concentrated, the human's determined expression reminded Defrosch of his younger days in learning how to project basic ki properly on top of keeping a suppressed form. He remembered the mental process he used at the time...
Go too far and you'll burst. Go nowhere at all and your efforts be cursed. Tension must be monitored, keep a reasonable pace, anything more than necessary and all attempts will blow up in your face., Yet you must rise to the test, should one create anything less and you will produce a pathetic flicker at best. There must be balance, concentration, determination. Let it all be in one amalgamation...
Defrosch watched on- and while he wouldn't admit it- he wondered how this would turn out. He would then see the green fire gather in the hands of the human, swirling about as it was willed into the shape that was desired. Wow. Defrosch didn't think he would be the one to teach someone something. Its an interesting feeling to say the least. "Yeah, thats it, you're getting it-"
Defrosch wouldn't be able to finish as another ki signature had quickly- and rudely- crashed the party! Defrosch shielded his eyes with his free hand as sand swirled around the aura of the new arrival. "Ghhh, what is it this time..." The sand cleared to reveal... Another human, it seems... Though something was a bit odd about them.
Okay, yeah, aside from the sword they were brandishing.
"Oh gee, step off'a what? The planet?" Defrosch rolled his eyes, tossing his ki-ball aside, letting it burst harmlessly in mid air behind him, casually flicking more mustard off his arm. "So hey, yeah, if you feel like explaining ki manipulation to this guy instead of me, then by all means, go right ahead. He almost made a basic orb of ki before you came crashing down like you owned the place."
Grumpy, yet... Not naturally hostile. That's Defrosch in a nutshell.

Tomo’s expression flattened when the pair of unusual companions explained, with some snark, the nature of their situation. A frown slowly curved onto her lips as the reality of their situation settled upon her mind. Evidently, her assumption of the situation had been entirely wrong. Instinctually, a portion of her felt relieved that this human(who seemed to be weaker than his Acrosian ‘teacher’) was not in any immediate danger; given that her task was to defend humans such as this particular one, her reprieve should have been more than fleeting. The prideful traces of both Saiyan and Acrosian within her genetics, however, felt sleighted to have been robbed of the ability to prove herself in single combat against a foe that would have given her purpose tangibility. As if to address both her paradoxical disappointment and the human’s claim that she was “on fire”, Tomo allowed her aura of ki to disperse again into empty air. A sigh rattled her slender shoulders.
You’re just going to take what he said at value? You know how deceptive the Acrosians can be- it’s in their nature, HOLO reminded her of precisely what manner of species she was confronted with. She shrugged, disregarding how out of place it may have appeared to the pair of men who could not hear HOLO’s chastising tones. “Yeah, but what if he’s telling the truth?” She asked the sword aloud, shifting her gaze to lock upon the hilt within her hands. Her posture began to relax while HOLO responded, And if he’s not? You could be dooming this human to death the moment you are out of proper response range. This is decidedly against your orders, you know.
“And if he’s telling the truth, then this human may grow strong enough to defend himself from further threats. We can’t be there to save them all, you know,” again, her response was spoken with enough volume to be easily heard by both Defrosch and his ‘student’. Following her overt reply to the blade’s concerns, Tomo relaxed herself entirely into a casual stance. She stepped out of Acrosian’s way and found herself a seat in the midsection of a nearby sand dune. She rested HOLO against her shoulder and reclined, careful now not to let her vision leave either of the potential combatants before her.
“I’ll take your word, Acrosian, but I’m going to remain here until I am satisfied that your intentions toward this human are innocuous. Carry on,” she addressed Defrosch directly, now. Though her face remained placid, her stomach wrenched with the distinctive sensation of an encroaching pout. The android had desired a strong opponent to measure herself against and was instead presented with what could very well have been one of the few well-meaning aliens in this section of the universe. That assumption, however, was based entirely on her personal experience-- which amounted to precisely nothing. Truthfully, all she was going on was instinct and what bits of information had been downloaded directly from the PROJECT headquarter’s databases.
At least he wasn’t a dirty monkey.

Arcosian. So that's what the lizard man is classified as. A whole lot less of a mouthful than Lizard man scorpion king. He didn't take to the second name anyway. Now if he could just figure out what the hell that green thing was. He figured cactus man was not the proper name for his kind. He watched the situation diffuse, peacefully. He was relieved. While confident in his own hand to hand abilities. He felt if it came to blows that he would have to retreat. He just freakin' learned people can make exploding orbs with their own...power stuff. While he just learned it himself, the amount of time he took to form the thing was pretty abysmal. In terms of usability in combat. He pondered on the events involving the Arcosian. The green man seeming spooked and dashing away. This woman's arrival and her accusations. Did Arcosians have a bad reputation? Should he be standing here with this being now? The woman seemed content to watch them and the fire disappeared.
"Oh...you can turn the fire off. Sweet!"
Still, he pondered the fire. Was it the same stuff those orbs were made of. Was it just a visual result of something? But he cleared his throat. A way to return his attention to attempting those orbs of...ki? That must be the mystical energy his master once told him of. Though his master told him that no one ever mastered it beyond making strikes harder and temporarily enhancing strength and speed. He's seen a lot more than that so far. Hands spaced apart once again. He tried envisioning to help him focus once again. No rope this this time. It seemed once he actually did it once, the rope was an improper theory. Instead he saw his dormant 'ki' more along the shape of a spiral. A vortex spiral to be more exact. Slowly spinning counter clockwise to distribute it's life force through his body.
The shapeless green flame appears betwixt his hands once more. He imagined a smaller vortex in his hand. Also, turning counter clockwise. But he wanted it to stay together, not slowly drift apart like his energy source. Increase rotation. Yes! It's turning to a sphere a lot faster now! Once more he created the baseball sized orb. Green translucent shell. Aquamarine core. It still wasn't a snap of the fingers like what the Arcosian and green man did. It still only took half the time of the first one.
Eyes narrowed. The launch mechanism. He didn't get a clear picture on how the green being launched it. But he went back to his focus. He simply imagined it spinning so quickly on it's axis that it broke away from its main source and drifted alone. A chest flick. Much like what is used in basketball for a pass. He launched the ball. First making sure the Arcosian and the woman weren't in its path. It whistled to a sand dune and exploded. Of course, only enough to throw like a cup of sand into the air.
"That....is totally sweet!"
He exclaimed over what was possibly a minor accomplishment to the two spectators.

Defrosch crossed his arms, arching a brow at the new arrival. "Hm. Finally someone that doesn't mistake me for a 'Scary Scorpion Dreadlord' or something daft like that..." He sighed. "But hey, realistically; I don't blame you too much for that reaction. My people are mostly selfish assholes. Thats why I'm on this planet." Granted, Defrosch is a slightly different kind of selfish asshole... "S'not like you Earthfolks aren't your own brand of jerkoff either... Unlike most of 'em you actually listened to what I had to say, so I think we're even." She also didn't abuse an animal in his presence, so thats even better.
Defrosch watched as the first human concentrated once again... They already cut the conjuration time in half! Thats certainly progress. They even made an attempt to launch it, though sadly it didn't seem to do as much as it was surely capable of doing. Was it a human thing to learn so quickly? This made the situation all the more interesting to observe. "Second time and you've already improved a lot... Heh, I'm actually impressed."
...
Another phrase he was sure he'd never say to someone... Or hear directed to him for that matter.

The gathering of three would-be warriors was an oddity, to say at the least. Between the three of them(in part due to Tomo’s expansive genetic structure), they likely covered all of the major races that inhabited this section of the universe-- the ones that mattered, anyways. Tomo offered a small, likely unnoticeable, smile in response to her own thought; it was an interesting philosophical pill to swallow, being an entity comprised of the best attributes of many races. Even with the complementing elements of her “parent’s” genes, Tomo could not help but to feel… incomplete. It was a subtle nag that existed at the very back of her mind at all times, compelling her to seek out other powerful warriors and… She shot the Arcosian a hungry glance before shaking her head from side to side. It was better not to dwell on such morbid things- there was a time and a place for it, and amid potential allies was certainly not it. Her attention returned to the human receiving instruction.
From the looks of it, he did not have any experience manipulating his natural ki, and his commentary about her aura certainly did not help the impression. Be that as it may, Defrosch’s comment about his progress being impressive was not poorly placed; the human was learning at a pace that seemed to be close to her own, and she had the advantage of being able to ‘download’ knowledge of techniques into her memories. Impressive, indeed.
However gifted his progress was, he was attempting to take leaping strides before simply walking. She shook her head again and commented, “The Arcosian is not incorrect. Your progress is formidable, but you lack form. That will come with experience, but I suggest attempting a ‘wave’ type attack before pushing into blasts, as simple as they may seem to be. Basic blasts still require structure, whereas a ‘wave’ is a continuous stream of ki that you just ‘direct’ at its most basic level. I will demonstrate.” As she rose to her feet, HOLO in hand, the sword commented internally: It is unwise to demonstrate even a portion of your power before you fully trust either of them. Tomo ignored him.
In a singular motion, the girl brought her open palms before her and then shifted to aim her hands toward a dune conveniently out of the group’s way. With only a moment of concentration, a solid ball of luminous golden ki formed within Tomo’s hands. “You’ll be looking to do something… like this!” Her voice picked up an edge of excitement as the ball of ki expanded and shot forward into a singular, concentrated beam of energy. Upon collision with the sand dune, the rough structure exploded into a burst of smoke and sand. Tomo allowed the beam to continue for a few seconds before cutting off its source of ki, eliminating the wave’s existence.
“Try something like that.”

Was his progress quicker than usual? He never thought of how long it took others to actually learn these abilities. Not that he's been completely oblivious to manipulating it in the first place. He knew that phantom force was the engine behind his earth dance technique. The reason why he could take super human leaps into the air and land without making his knees collapse like peas under pressure. He just never seen an outward tangible projection of the said force. Maybe his enthusiasm to learn it was speeding a long the process. He took a moment to catch his breath. They both made it look so effort less. But for him, he was like an incandescent light bulb. He burned a lot more energy getting there than it actually took to make the thing. He didn't know what the sword woman why the sword woman rose, but he took advantage of the time to rest.
A wave attack? What he did was known as a blast. Well, he guessed that made sense. There was a blast when it hit the dune. Nothing impressive. Still a blast. He sat for a moment to watch the woman's technique. He watched her near non existent concentration time. Then a ball of ki into an outward explosion. A continuous...wave until she finally shut the thing off. So there were different varieties of ki projection. And he had to admit, the wave looked a lot cooler than the blast.
He hopped to his feet excited to give this new technique a try. Hands came together, he tried to mimic the same hand placement the sword wielder used. A green vortex shape emerges again. Making visible ki now seemed to take no time at all. Now for the hard part. He tried to push, have it explode out.
"Ha!!"
He thrust his hand forward toward the previously blasted dune when he thought himself ready. The result was less than satisfactory. The green vortex disperses. A cloud of grey smoke lazily wafts away from his hands. Frustrated, he attempted it again. But the energy he projected stuttered before fading. Unfortunately those first two ki blasts, despite being simple ki blasts took a lot of energy to form.
"Darn it."
He mumbled.

Defrosch watched on as the two humans demonstrated their use of ki. The newer arrival displayed admirable skill and form.. Were they showing off now? They had shown a better example that Defrosch would've bothered to do, at least. He only showed the other human a basic ki ball because he was asked. He had no real obligation to teach, but not explaining it could've resulted in the human continually bothering him.
Defrosch shrugged his shoulders and decided to back away. Even if the progress that was being made was something to be proud of, this wasn't his problem nor his business anymore. He had training to do. Perhaps he could find out if Scorpion Kings actually existed or not as well.
Defrosch bolted away, leaving an afterimage behind...

Tomo smirked as the human attempted to replicate her form, but ultimately failed. Though she was tasked with protecting individuals such as him, she took an odd satisfaction in the fact that she was far more powerful than most of the average inhabitants of Earth. There was something about their weakness that felt as though it really validated her existence. They were not without their respectable fighters, however. For every hundred thousand average humans, there was maybe one that was powerful enough to be a conventional martial arts master. Then, probably every one in a million produced a human with the latent talent as the man who presently was failing to make himself seem powerful. Her smirk widened into a full smile momentarily-- in a twisted way, it was almost like she had adopted a puppy. A large, ki-blast producing puppy.
While observing the human’s efforts, she was made immediately aware of the Arcosian’s departure through the sensation of his ki vanishing quickly from her sensory range. She glanced briefly over her shoulder, seeing that he had left an afterimage to avoid any further interaction at the time of his departure, and she simply sighed. Better that he’s gone though, right? HOLO remained concerned about whether or not the Arcosian would have had the ability to easily squash both Tomo and her human companion. A shrug rolled off of Tomo’s shoulders before she responded aloud, intending her comment to be as much to HOLO as to the human, “He’s gone. His species has the potential for incredible power-- and yet, they have an equally incredible lack of manners. We would be wise to not remain so relaxed around his sort in the future, as history has proven that they are as dubious as they are powerful…” Her words trailed off as she began to shake her head from side to side.
“Since he is gone, however, my duties here are done. If you insist on remaining alone in the desert here on out, any dangers you find yourself in will be your own responsibility. That being said…” she gathered ki about her small frame and lifted into the air, coming to hover several meters above the human, “... If you have any more questions, feel free to find your way back to safety and use a computer, ‘cause I’m not really the teaching sort.” Her lips curled again into a petite smile.
That was rude. You shouldn’t be so rude to someone who seems sincere.
And he shouldn’t carry on scandalous affairs with powerful aliens in the middle of the desert, but I wouldn’t know anything about that. Her response seemed to have silenced HOLO long enough to allow her to depart in peace. She didn’t really have a next stop, but she did not desire to spend the entirety of the afternoon instructing a lost dog in how to better defend himself. Other people got paid to do that, after all.

So Arcosians did have a bad reputation. If he ran into the being again, he'd be sure to keep a closer eye on him. He sighed ready to say something in response but she promptly made her exit. A sigh. He would have said something about not being so quick to judge someone's manners right before being equally as rude. But he'd be talking to the air right now. But was she hovering? Or was he hallucinating? Was this whole ordeal a hallucination? He wished figments of his imagination would be more polite.
Alone. He could continue to practice. No, he should find town and rest. Think on the things that have transpired. Figure out a way to have his body adapt to these new abilities. The arcosian may be a problem, but the lady with a sword, she was awfully arrogant. He took a giant leap heading in the direction the green man went.
