Kurasao leaves Zerori as soon as he is finished passing on his idea of a plan to her; he was aiming to get to the limit of the junctions of several roads that led to the one connection back with the main street so he could plant his trap. He opposes the trajectory of the female bounty hunter in order to not raise suspicions, climbing the nearest edifice and jumping from roof to roof, what also took away the problematic of obstacles, making him reach his destination even faster. The blue skinned alien would find no distractions while making his way above the buildings.
Soon enough, he hears a transmission from Zerori through his communication device. She seemed to have realized she was caught in some sort of trap. ~ “Of course you are. Like I told you, your little show back there warned him how far you two were from each other. Keep your eyes open. Specially since that’s not the only ambush he may have prepared for you… I’m nearing my destination already… Keep in touch” ~ Kura warns his “partner”.
A few meters ahead, from the top of a nine story apartment, he could see the convergence of the routes to the main street; IT was there that he should use the Thread Capsule. He smiles, come sliding down through the side of the building, hitting the ground soon after. It was then that the merc heard the sound of shooting coming from behind. He turns his face back around, looking towards Zerori’s direction. It seems the armored girl was definitely caught in a predicament. Still, there was nothing the brenchian could do to help her at this moment. She would have to handle the issue on her own.
Keen on planting his booby trap, Kura faced his targeted spot once again and rushed to it.
OOC: Was a bit genereic because I was not sure if Zerori is mantaining a persistent connection with Kura. Is he he listening constantly to what she talks / like in an usual scouter, or is she communicating with him only when she pleases, like through a walkie-talkie?

Hearing him in her head as she worked, or rather shot blinded, was a major distraction to her ability to sense what went on around her. She tries to ignore him, to focus only on the information that mattered, but when a stray shot from a gun caught her leg she cursed inwardly from the timing of his response. “Yeah, alright, I get it – thanks!” She hissed, louder than necessary, before she turned around to throw a stray fist out. When it hit a face she felt a grin sprout and she stepped forward again to throw another. Nothing, this time. Where’d he go?
Another hit at her side; behind her! Her other arm stretched out to fire in that direction and she finally got an idea about how to find them. Let’s use a bit of radar! She raised the arm cannon in the air and, without a preamble, began to rapidly fire. Opening her eyes, she would take note of the location of every foe in her line of sight and extrapolate where’d they’d be. Knowing that she could…
“AUGH!”
“FUU-!”
And then the sounds of bodies came; music to her ears as her eyes quickly flickered from body to body before dropping them, throwing a kick or a fist when she felt she got close enough. It tested all of her senses, from her eyes to her ears – all the way to her movement speed and finally her ability to count. When she got to the last five, she stopped her shooting and rest in the darkness before speaking. “Are you still alive?” She taunted, a chuckle in her voice before she heard the sound of scuffling along the ground. “Oh, fallen, have you? Get up… get up… and run.”
“Ghk, shit!” She heard him gasp, possibly in pain, before the scuffling turned to running. Wait just a second.
“The other direction… unless you want to run into a friend of mine. I’d like this to last as long as possible before I ‘interrogate’ you,” She added a modicum of sultriness to convince him of her sadism. When she heard his steps go in the opposite direction until she couldn’t hear it anymore, she gave a deep sigh. “He’s coming your way now… don’t fuck it up. I don’t think we’ll get another chance,” The words escaped her mouth before she had a chance to amend only a piece of them with a teeth grinding together, “-I’d like at least one of us to be successful.” She sat down for a second to get her bearing back, feeling the minor burns as they leaked some sort of liquid. It didn’t feel like blood so she wasn’t too terribly worried.
((Sorry for the shortness of it - bit off my muse lately))

Kura has been hearing her through his communicating device passively all along; it seemed Zerori was a bit in trouble against the blue haired rat and his henchmen. The symphony of beam shots kept on reaching the brenchian’s ears. He “ignores” the saiyan hybrid’s predicament. As I said in my last post, he was inclined to fulfill his part in the plan. And nonetheless, the next time we see our favorite antagonist, he is by a strategic spot, facing the end road that connected back to the main streets of Eid-2. This translates to being at the top of a building where he had plain sight of whoever was coming this way (and past it) but had his position hidden by the ledge of the rooftop section. He had his amrs crossed and a big grin on his face (by this time he wouldn’t use his trademark red piece of cloth covering his face). Through a momentary reflection of light meant only illustrate the situation to my faithful readers and partner in writing, you see the hair-thin threads arranged like a web blocking the way. Kurasao had completed his part of the plan successfully. It was then that he hears Zerori’s call on the other side of the high-tech walkie-talkie apparatus he was using warning him their quarry was heading his way. ~ “Heh… You’ll miss the best part. The threads are in place. It’s always humorous to see their grin flushed down the toilet when they realize they got caught” ~ Kura ironizes their target’s cluelessness.
In a few, he catches a glimpse of what seems to be the blue haired runaway approaching his position. He is limping a bit as if he was hurt; Probably, victim to one of the various arm cannon rays Zerori shot at him. He wasn’t alone, though. He was accompanied by two goons who were protecting his rear while he tried to make his way out of the alleyway. Still, unaware of the energy threads blocking his way, it wouldn’t be long before he was helpless wrapped up in the floor, leaving only the pathetic grunts to be dealt with. Easy peasy. The grin in Kura’s face widens proportionally as the distance between the quarry and the booby trap closes in. However, the man stops all of a sudden. He looks around; he seemed a bit suspicious of his surroundings. ~ “Son of… Aren’t you a little scared mousy” ~ The blond alien lets out; he was also letting Zerori hear his transmission passively and if she was to make any remarks as to question why her “partner” was cursing, he would explain to her of the little setback as their prey stopped right before the end road, apparently mistrustful of the calmness before the light in the end of the tunnel.
The blue haired man, now back under his cloak looks around. He signals to one of his goons to go ahead while the other looks around, looking for traps. Needless to say, the one in the front eventually hits the threads and, as Kura explained to Zerori, being specially adherent to organic tissue, once the naïve individual comes into contact with the energy strings, they gravitate towards his body, disabling him ad leaving him helpless in the ground. ~ ”MOTHERF-“ ~ Kura exalts his tone in frustration. The target and the remaining goon makes to run away while leaving the help-pleading grunt in the ground behind. Kura balks their attempt by shooting an energy blast in front of them. The resultant force knocks them backwards in the ground and causes the one wrapped up like a cocoon to roll around in the ground a bit as he is pushed by the strong winds. Smoke and dust is lifted up; Kurasao jumps off the roof, landing in front of the prostrated elements in the alleyway. ~ “We had a small… problem. I’ll be sure to fix it now” ~ He warns Zerori. Walking past the curtain of fumes, his silhouette finally becomes visible to the blue haired man and finally, his full figure. ~ “Well, well… You surely are annoying…. But this ends right here. Why don’t you be a lam and stand still so the unavoidable happens without giving me any further headaches, eh?” ~ Kura suggests with his usual scornful tone.
OOC: Finishing my turn here as to give Zerori a chance to voice herself over their current situation a bit XD I'll deal with our quarry for real in my next post.

From her spot on the ground, checking her wounds, Zerori’s eyes remained closed in the darkness as she took in long soft breaths. Between her head injury, the occasional burning from the blasts she took and the strain of moving beyond her limits – she wasn’t sure how long of a soak in a bath she’d need to feel like she could kick ass again with confidence. When her ‘partner’ spoke up again in the scouter just seconds after informing him of their quarry, she clicked her tongue in the recorder, “I’ll be fine without knowing all the gory details; let me know when he’d caught…” Dropping her arm back down from the scouter, she let out another sigh.
It wasn’t until she heard scuffling that she opened one eye absent-mindedly to look around, not truly seeing anything in the darkness, Don’t tell me a few of them actually came back…
When she got up from her spot on the ground, a knee popping here and there and her skin stretching a bit too much for comfort, his voice popped in the scouter again. The words alone elicited an eye brow twitch, also prompting her to growl in the scouter lowly, “What. Now?” Emphasis on each other nearly being ground out between her teeth. Turning away from the sound of foot steps, she walked in the direction her scouter indicated her partner had gone. Everything was going to plan so what the hell was the problem?!
“Gonna bust yer head-AUGH!” When she heard the sound behind her, a yell from a would-be lucky punk, she didn’t hesitate to swing around with a ring hook and sock him between the eyes. The feel of his weight being pushed against her fist was as much a satisfying feeling as much as an annoyance that she had to knock him out so quickly. It was then that she heard a very obvious curse in the scouter, prompting her to look at the machine with an infuriated glare. Don’t fucking say it! She warned him mentally.
‘…we had a small… problem…’
“AUGH! And you got on MY case for messing up so much!? What kind of professional are you that you can’t get a trap set up correctly?! I’m coming over there now so that NEITHER OF US FUCK IT UP!” Nearly shrieking at the last part of her sentence, she turned around to follow his position on the scouter as fast as her tired legs could tout her weight. It took only a few seconds for her to close the distance that the rat’s legs led him in before she noticed a very bound blue-faced man on the ground. “Tch, definitely not our target!” She hissed before looking around for the real target.
Through the smoke and smog of some sort of chemical that was spread, she could barely make out the figures of the target and her partner. Give it a few seconds, Zerori. Then… time it right! She mentally prepared herself, raising the arm cannon to focus in on their target in case he couldn’t ‘deliver’.

~ “Heh... your loss, not mine” ~ The mercenary in black leather readily responds as she voices her indifference regarding watching their prey fall helplessly on their ambush. Soon, Zerori would question his cursing and his little briefing about their problem… ~ “Well… let’s say our man got suspicious and sent a piece of meat towards the threads in his place” ~ Kura explains. Soon after this line would be the time he would land near their quarry and the other fallen goon and address his target with the scornful speech from my previous post. Zerori replied telling Kura she would be heading towards his direction. Hopefully, the brenchian would be dealing with the little inconvenience before she get there… He expected, that is; He couldn’t lose the “coolness” about his attitude. ~ “Chill, princess… Is nothing I can’t handle” ~ He replied to the angry girl coming their way.
Back in proper continuity, we follow with the blue haired runaway pulling a beam gun from underneath his cloak and aiming at Kurasao, while still in a semi-lateral decubitus on the ground. A yellow ray of light is shot at the blond, who raises his hand with his palm facing the assailant to block the incoming attack. The energy is contained in the form of a sphere in Kura’s hand for a second, until he abruptly clenches it causing the light sphere to disperse into smoke. He then aligns his arm back to his side, relaxed; We see a burn spot on his hand, signaling the “tough-guy” styled defense although effective, wasn’t without a bit of damage. Nothing major though. It only left a tingling and mildly burning sensation in the palm of the blue skinned bounty hunter’s hand. ~ “Heh… Never the easy way…. Fine” ~ Kura replies, causing their quarry to grit his teeth in anger. We can see a sweat drop on the side of his head (in an anime-ish fashion, signaling worry).
At this point, the knocked down thug had recomposed himself, standing up and dashing at Kurasao in a bull-like fashion to try and knock him down to buy time for his boss/friend/whatever. A foolish attempt. If we had a scouter right now, while Kura was above four thousand, the man would barely reach one Raditz. The brenchian swiftly throws his weight to the side, moving only his upper body out of the way and raises his knee to strike the goon in his stomach, causing his eyes to bulge in extra vascularization (picture one of those humorous anime scenes) and the man to puke blood and saliva. He proceeds to pummel the target some more and cut the comedy by providing our eyes with a gruesome scene composed of the following steps: first the man is propelled backwards by the impact of Kurasao’s attack; Then he dents an edifice’s wall with his body, imprinting it on it; Then Kura stretches his arm back, grabbing the hilt of his sword while the man was still making his way to the facade of the building and hurls it, impaling the man’s face and pinning him while still standing up to the structure. It was by this time that Zerori arrived at their location. Taking notice of the woman’s presence he looks at her and then at their hunt, deeply into his eyes. ~ “So, it seems you left some questions of my dear friend there unanswered… Will you be polite enough to address them now, or would you like me to provide you a comfy position like a just gave your boyfriend first?” ~ The evil man intimidates the blue haired runaway.

He left quite a mess for her to clean up – if she was going to bother cleaning it up after this. The body pinned to the wall, standing as if he was merely leaning against it, had a clean stab through his head from a sword that no doubt belonged to her blue-haired companion. I’m not… even gonna bother asking why, She thought as she looked away from the body towards the cowering one. The one that caused ALL of this damn trouble. You know what? That motherfucker probably deserved it…
She walked forward, lowering her weapon as she did. Purposefully and with as much foreboding as she could muster she stalked towards the man she’d stalked after this entire time. When she reached both of them, looking down at the blue-faced fool down her nose, there was so much she wanted to say right then there. Humiliation was a definitely worthy of a death, yet she was not here for a simple hit and run. No, she had a much more refined job to do… but she didn’t have to do it nicely.
Faster than the he could see it coming, Zerori lunged forward to throw a knee straight into his abdomen. He gasped, buckling under the pressure and pain of the impact as he choked for air. She stepped back to watch him crumple to the ground, only able to enjoy the satisfaction as a modicum of what she truly wanted. “That’s for the hammer to my head…” She told him darkly, giving a scoff of a chuckle when he could only get a grunt of sound out from the lack of air in his lungs. “And this-” She continued to say before she threw a boot straight into his face, knocking him from his knees painfully onto his back with a loud cry. “That… was for the trouble of having me ASK for help!”
He wheezed for breath, holding his stomach still from the hit, “Wha… What the fuck… d-do you want?!” He couldn’t hardly move!
Zerori just shook her head, grinning behind the helmet as she spoke with promise in her voice, “Oh no - you’re gonna let me enjoy this first,” before raising her arm up to him with the cannon primed. It was a glorious feeling when he flinched violently, raising his arms over his head as if to block her out. She chuckled, enjoying ever bit of his cowardice – no longer safe behind his men and his tricks. “Alright, I’ve had my fun. You’ve got a guest waiting for you and I…” She picked up her voice, bringing a hand over to her wrist before pressing a button on a panel, “-A job to finish.”
Within a few moments, a ship could be heard in the distance closing in quickly. Requisitioned for the mission and already she owed in the red for every minute she didn’t have it returned. As it landed behind her, blowing the smoke away from the area as she stared down at the injured body before her and then turned to her partner in crime, “What do you want in return for your… assistance?”

OOC: Will be replying by tomorrow (or perhaps tonight)... sorry for the absurdly long wait. Lots of things happened at once, what caused me to vanish. I really hope we can conclude this one with the awesomeness this thread deserves.
