[Thread PL: 3,069,392] It was around mid-day when Bing entered the grand, dusty library. He had been in here hundreds of times after his first battle with Vipoi, but this time he wasn't just searching for answers to one question; this time he was searching for more general information. His reasoning for this was because he had become the Guardian of Earth, at least unofficially. He knew there was ample information in here about many things, what he needed most however was old journals. He had found a few from Guardian's long since past, but most of them had some type of problem; be it aged pages, or simply pages that were removed forcibly. He would need to pour over every single bit of information he could find, to make absolutely certain that he knew what he was doing as Guardian. With a new goal in mind for this library outing, he found it was much easier to collect information. For some reason, it seemed the Sacred Water was hard to find information on, mostly just brief excerpts or no mention whatsoever. Perhaps he wasn't looking in the right place? No reason to dwell on it however, it was time for other research! He grabbed a massive stack of dusty old tomes, coughing as the musty air settled around him. "Gotta remind myself to dust off this room when I get the chance," thought Bing outwardly. With a mighty thud, the dusty stack fell onto an equally dusty table, inciting another cough from Bing. Bing grabbed the book from the top of the pile and opened it, starting at the first page and thoroughly scanning each and every word. Before he could get into it however, something caught his attention. It was a power he had sensed before, only much stronger now. "Is that...Reikiko?"While he had only met the girl once before, he was almost entirely certain this was her Ki. It was much stronger than it was when he met her on that floating oasis known as Avalon however, so she must have gotten stronger recently. "I should invite her to chat, If she doesn't know about Realigner Red, maybe I can ask her for assistance in the coming battle!"With a quick motion, Bing hopped away from the table, dashing up the stairs with haste. The dust that had settled on his form could not keep itself on from his sheer speed, making him look like a snake shedding its skin as he ran up the stairwell. Arriving outside of the Lookout, Bing focused his senses on Reikiko's energy. He sent her a telepathic message, and hoped she would respond. "Reikiko, can you hear me? This is Bing. I don't know if you remember me, but I am one of Kami's students. We met only briefly at Avalon, but I'd like to speak with you about the one known as Vipoi. I'm sure you must have heard of his recent...dark times. Please, come to the Lookout as soon as you can."( Reikiko [SU1] Telepathy Used!)

The timeless lookout, a place filled with memories that stirred all sorts of emotions within her. It was a place she considered her home on the planet known as Earth. Even if Avalon was build to be her oasis of peace, the timeless lookout was the place where the girl known as Reikiko her story had properly begun. On this particular day she had actually decided to visit the lookout, mostly out of nostalgia. A brief glance at the lookout had shown it had been recently repaired again, making her wonder if another idiot had tried to blow up her father's home during her absence. The slow descend onto the rooftop of the lookout had caused her to think back about several nostalgic memories, and soon she shifted her body to allow herself to lay on her back, gazing up at the sky above.
"I wonder where you disappeared to Otou-san..."
She still remembered how Scargot had been concerned that Vipoi would someday become a threat to Earth, and how bitter the irony was that he had actually been right. Still, this place was such a pleasant one. She could still remember that day Scargot gifted her with the traditional clothes of his tribe, having added some complicated tailoring to ensure their weighted nature would grant her plenty of training in the times to come. The days she spend watching the apple tree that she and Scargot had planted, to slowly grow into the majestic tree that had been rebuild several times. Once by Walker, and once by an unknown source. It made her believe in a curious little saying: Everything has the right to grow. And honestly, she loved to see the potential of people growing into strong and interesting individuals. Still, the absence of Scargot had left a certain emptiness inside her. She had hoped to get his advice on various matters, but with his absence she understood it was up to her to find the answers that couldn't be found in books.
"How long has it been..."
She missed him, she missed the times he patted her head and complimented her for a good deed. She missed the time she spend eating apples with him while observing the events unfolding on Earth. If only she could have enjoyed those times a little longer. Unfortunately those times weren't meant to last forever. And now she couldn't help but wonder: What would she do in the events that would soon unfold? However, her thoughts were brutally interrupted when a foreign presence tried to intrude into her mind, a presence she could easily have dispelled, but out of curiosity she allowed them to speak into her thoughts.
How amusing, the person the voice came from seemed to had been at the entrance of the lookout, in fact right beneath her, to the point that merely leaning upwards would have allowed her to see him. Still, it was unusual for one of her father's students to properly attempt to contact her. Usually it would have been Walker, but instead it was one she had briefly seen during her time at Avalon. Bing was it?
"You could have used your voice instead of using telepathy. It still creeps me out when anyone tries to intrude into my thoughts. Albeit I didn't realize someone aside from my father or a demon was capable of using such an ability."
A hint of amusement was clearly noticeable in the girl's voice, and while she hopped off the rooftop, descending toward one of the branches of the tree, the moment she landed a graceful sweep of her tail allowed the stinger to pierce one of the fruits, and a second hop allowed her to reach the tiled ground before the man. The child-like Homunculus crossed her arms beneath her chest, her power level clearly suppressed due to being in her base form, and yet her presence felt surprisingly calm and gentle despite her monstrous appearance.
"You wished to talk to me about Vivi? I should have expected someone from Earth to reach out to me about how to deal with that friend of mine who has gone crazy. Nevertheless, I'd expected the Blue Banner Army to be the ones doing that, rather than a student of my father."
She smiled calmly, seemingly meaning no harm with her statement, all the while allowing her tail to suck out the contents of the apple she was eating. She was a bit curious about the reason for the lad to seek her out. Was it going to be a request for aid in the upcoming conflict against the android? It would be understandable for the people of Earth to seek more champions to fight the battle, yet judging from the power she felt in Bing's presence he was a pretty remarkable student of her father also, perhaps even more powerful than she had assumed one of Kami's students to be.
"I have heard the stories about his fall into madness. A virus that has overtaken him. I was hoping to seek out my father in the hope of finding answers on how to deal with him, alongside a personal problem of mine, but unfortunately he has been missing for a while already."
Perhaps he was training in another dimension, or had gone on a holiday with a pretty goddess. Who knew, but in the end she was left on her own to decide on how to solve those matters.
"Nevertheless, I intended to seek him out myself to confirm whether there is anything left of the person I consider a dear friend. Surely the one who helped me best the first Super Saiyan of our generation would not fall to a virus that easily."
She whispered those last worlds under her breath, raising a hand to her hip while asking him with a hint of curiosity.
"Albeit you'll likely have plenty of questions about the change in appearance? Let's just say that this is related to the personal problem I mentioned earlier."

It was almost immediately that the human was given a response to his request, which was a good thing! She mentioned, somewhat playfully, that it probably would have just been easier to speak out loud rather than using a mind-probing ability to speak with her. He raised an eyebrow in curiosity. How would that help now? She must be far from the Lookout, right?
Almost as if she was responding to his question, Reikiko hopped off the roof of the Lookout, hopping gracefully onto a tree, and then finally landing on the tiled ground, apple held firmly in her...stinger? It took him a moment to fully take it in, but she had a tail-like appendage protruding from her backside, similar to a Saiyans tail, but much deadlier it seemed. Bing bowed respectfully, speaking in a kind tone "I didn't realize you were already here...If I had known I would have just said something..." A blush of embarrassment showed up on the young mans face, clearly he thought himself to be a fool in this situation.
Reikiko mentioned Vipoi quite quickly, which was good. Vipoi was one of the main reasons he had asked to see Reikiko, so cutting to the chase was probably for the best.
"Well Reikiko, I wanted to ask for your assistance in the coming battle. In a weeks time, Vipoi has requested to battle the strongest of Earth. As much as I want to defeat him myself, I don't think I will match up even if I had a year to train! Sadly, as I said before, we only have a week, and If we lose then...I don't want to think about what'll happen if we lose..."
His normally upbeat disposition was replaced with a somber one for a brief moment. Though he tried his best to keep his head held high, each loss hit him harder than needed. First Namek was lost, and then most of North Capitol. With each failure, complete and total loss of Earth seemed to become more and more destined. He forced the thought out of his mind, shaking the bad feelings out, and bringing out a smile.
Before he could continue however, Reikiko mentioned she was going to seek Red out herself to see if anything remained of the old Vipoi. Bing nodded as he explained what he had encountered thus far.
"From what I know, it seemed Vipoi attempted to upgrade himself, but failed. The virus has taken over his body, but occasionally the old Vipoi breaks through the cage he's been imprisoned in. I don't know if we can save him, and I don't think we have the time to even attempt it."
He pondered for a moment. Though he didn't actually know what caused the virus, he could only assume he had tried to upgrade himself. The virus on its own probably wouldn't have boosted his strength so much on its own, so there must have been something else going on beforehand. Bing would have to try and meet up with the BBA sometime soon, hopefully he could learn more about what occurred from Liang or Cipher.
Reikiko mentioned a personal problem she was dealing with, inciting another curious look from Bing. Alonside her altered appearance, it seemed she might be having some type of trouble. Perhaps her new-found power caused her this personal problem? Bing himself had been plagued with a dark 'problem' due to his most recent power boost, maybe Reikiko was dealing with something similar.
"Though I can't help you find Scargot, maybe I can help you with your personal problem. I recently got into contact with Kami telepathically, and he has appointed me as Guardian in his absence. I don't exactly know what being Guardian entails, but maybe my new position can help in some way?"

So there was a week left before the android would demand to fight the Earth's most powerful warriors? She could imagine already the reason behind this declaration. If the people of Earth were forced to watch their strongest warriors fall before the might of the android, they would likely realize that resistance was futile, and would possibly assume that the best chance of survival was to serve him. A frown emerged on the girl's face, and while she pondered deeply about the words that were spoken, she was uncertain about whether she would be capable of aiding Bing with the battle that would await them. She was distressed at the memory of herself slipping into the darkness, a power that was beyond her capacity to control.
"So a virus has conquered most of his consciousness, yet it seems a fragment of my friend remains..."
A gentle sigh escaped the girl's lips, a fingertip raised to the side of her cheek, resting her head lightly against it while she thought a bit further about the matter. If there was a fragment of the android's true personality that remained, perhaps there was a chance to properly give him a chance to regain control. Yet such a theory was likely flawed, extremely dangerous and few would agree to wait to see if it could happen. So in the end the only solution was for them to destroy Vipoi? However, a moment passed before Reikiko finally replied, her tone clearly betraying the worried thoughts that plagued her mind behind that calm expression.
"I'm afraid I won't be able to help you win this battle the way I am currently. While I will attempt to provide my assistance in the battle that await us, for a certain feisty Saiyajin is likely going to try to fight him... The power at my disposal is too limited to best him."
Of course she could try to fight Vipoi, but the way she was currently would make that simply a matter of time before she would lose. In the end the Homunculus took a step backwards, a hand raising toward her chest while she explained in a softer tone, almost a whisper.
"I'm uncertain whether your position as my father's replacement will grant you the same wisdom and insight he held. But at least you deserve to know why I won't be able to defeat Vipoi. Right now I am restraining my true strength. If we were to put my power level in a numeric value you could call it roughly around two hundred seventy six thousand. However, with those restrains removed..."
She whispered something under her breath, closing her eyes while her ki flaring up into a silvering aura, and while slowly the aura started to wrap around her, a visible cocoon of energy the child-like figure had grown into the taller figure of an adult. Not just her appearance changed, the aura was flaring around wildly while she opened her azure-colored eyes once more she continued her explanation.
"With my power unchained I have roughly around four million in total power, still too low to best Vipoi when he gets serious. Unfortunately the only way for me to defeat him is to power up into my ascension form. While my power would likely surpass that of our enemy, the problem is that this power comes at a dark price. The only way for me to ascend into this form is by submitting myself to the dark influence of my kin's heritage."
She turned her gaze away, clearly troubled by the words she was speaking next.
"Do you understand now Bing? The risk of me using this power is too great. I might not just kill Vipoi, but turning into a ruthless and vile Berserker that cares only to annihilate all that stands in her path would mean I could just as easily turn onto you, or any ally you might have."
She shook her head gently, her lips curving into a apologetic smile as she continued.
"Even after I first awakened this power I can still barely retain my sanity, and every second within that form is a struggle for dominance between myself and the dark blessing of my lineage. And unfortunately it's a losing struggle so at best I might retain control for only a few moments."
Still, she couldn't help but wonder if there were any alternatives. She did know from her time at the timeless lookout that this place was filled with secrets, some that might even aid them in the battle up ahead.
"Nevertheless, perhaps there might be some secrets in the lookout, some clues for a method to help you grow strong enough to challenge him. Albeit, I might know a method that would allow me to temporarily suppress the dark influence my stronger form has. It's worth a try but, it's going to be a pretty dangerous gamble. I'm not even certain whether it will work, but if you are willing to hear me out..."
She stepped past him, walking into the lookout, gesturing with a hand for him to follow at her side.
"My father spoke about a special substance, a can of magical water that grants the pure of heart a surge in strength. I seen it happen to a warrior before, and it makes me wonder... What if someone like me was to use it? Would it kill me, or would it possibly purify the darkness? My guess is that it would either purify my tainted power, temporarily suppress its influence or refuse to work outright. If you'd be willing to try it out... However, be warned that I have no idea how this will influence me, and if it's temporarily we need to make certain to know how long I'll have to best Vipoi in combat. It would be our 'ace' card so to speak..."
It would become a gamble for sure, and not even god knew the answer to what would happen if they went with this plan. Still, she couldn't help but add with a little grin.
"Besides, if you can survive pacifying me at my full strength, you'd likely survive the upcoming battle with Vipoi."

A worried frown found its way onto Bing's face as Reikiko refused to assist in the coming battle. Every defender added to the roster would help, so why wouldn't she do it? Was the problem she faced such a great burden that it forced her to be unable to lend a hand? The homunculus girl continues to explain, saying her power is much too limited to truly prove useful. Sure her power might seem low, but clearly she's suppressing it...or at least Bing assumed so.
At the mention of a Feisty Saiyan, Bing speaks up "Feisty Saiyan...do you mean Kaula? I met her not too long ago! She seems powerfu, which is good."
His thoughts wandered for a moment as Reikiko spoke of Bing's new position. Was he really the right man for the job? He wasn't entirely sure, but at the moment nobody else was around to do it, so there was really no other option.
"I don't know if I'll be able to be as good at this as Scargot was, but I'll try my best! He taught me a lot, so hopefully I can put his teachings to good use."
Just as expected, Reikiko explained that she was currently suppressing her power, leaving her at somewhere around Two-hundred-thousand as a baseline. He was interested in seeing her maximum potential, so when she began her strange metamorphosis, he stared with interest. A cocoon-like bubble of Ki enraptured her childish form, and after a shuddering amount of energy surged forth, Reikiko emerged. She looked much older now, and her aura flared like a wildfire around her. It was a truly staggering strength, one that surpassed Bing's by a hefty margin.
Reikiko explained, saying this was her unchained power...or, most of it anyways. She had more power hidden away, and it would be enough to defeat Vipoi, but unleashing it might cause some dark problems to come forth apparently. It was similar to Bing's problem with Ping, though it was most likely much harder to rid herself of in comparison.
Bing was about to speak up, but Reikiko's mention of some type of mystical water forced him to say something else.
"The Sacred Water!"
He moved closer to Reikiko, excitement and hope beaming from his eyes "I've read about it in the library down below, but I didn't know it still existed! If Scargot knew of it, and you saw it with your own eyes...maybe it's still here!"
Placing a finger to his chin, he spoke thoughtfully "I don't know if it will work Reikiko, but it's certainly worth a shot to look for it at least. If it doesn't work, at least we'll know we tried right?"
Bing turned and began walking towards the inside of the Lookout, beckoning Reikiko to follow along.
"Where should we start our search?"

A brief chuckle escaped Reikiko's lips at Bing's recognition of who she meant when she mentioned a 'feisty Saiyan'. She nodded her head lightly, thinking back about the training exercises she had done with Kaula in preparation for the upcoming conflict with Vipoi. Perhaps teaching her the secret techniques of the Crane School had been exactly for that purpose.
"Of course my girlfriend is powerful, I been training her myself!"
Still, she doubted that the training she had given Kaula would be enough to best an opponent like Vipoi. On terms of raw power Vipoi would likely be an enemy that even she couldn't best without using her ascended form. That didn't even take into mind the whole aspect of the android's intelligence. He wasn't an enemy that you could just beat with brutish tactics. However, it seemed that Bing had realized what she had been talking about. The Sacred Water was one of the treasured possessions of the guardian of Earth. She had seen it before when Scargot had decided to present the possession to a Saiyan called Toma. A unusual liquid that seemed to draw out the latent power of those considered 'good of heart'. While she doubted it would grant her a boost in strength, the purifying properties of the water might in the worst case end up killing her. If things were more favorable then perhaps it would help cleanse the tainted nature of her blessing. Still, she doubted the water would be strong enough to do that, so perhaps it would only serve to temporarily restrain that dark power?
"If I recall right the most treasured possessions of my father were in the chambers that were in the deepest reaches of the lookout. While I never looked for the room myself I'm certain we'll notice the right room the moment we set our eyes on it.
Still, she couldn't help but find herself slightly wary about the idea. Certainly Bing was a student of her father, and likely the strongest among those also, she was worried about whether the man's capacities would end up making him the most suited for the job. Then again, perhaps she was biased in the sense that Scargot was her father, and that nobody could replace the Namekian in her eyes. She continued to follow Bing, likely descending down the staircase while she mused softly.
"It's been a while... I still remember that one time I stumbled onto a locked room within the depths of the lookout. According to my father it was a room that would only be opened in times of great need. It's unfortunately he is gone, for I doubt we saw any greater need than now. If we fall during the upcoming conflict then surely a dark time awaits Earth."
Certainly she had dreamed of a time when everyone on Earth would rally together under one banner, but that was because she desired to see people work together and help each other prosper. Now if they failed to defeat Vipoi then the people of Earth would be enslaved by a crazy tyrant. Still, would she be able to obtain victory even at her full power? A concerned frown was noticeable on her face, and while they made their way toward the room she spoke once more.
"Albeit even at my full strength it will become an uncertain battle. Who knows I might even become forced to use a forbidden technique to defeat him."
It was very likely that only that technique would be capable of besting Vipoi when it came to raw strength. Although it was a technique that possessed an immense amount of power, the Homunculus felt rather worried about the risks of using it. Hopefully Kaula wouldn't be crazy enough to try to use its full power against Vipoi, because if that happened nothing would be able to calm down her rage.
"At least we don't have to worry about any traps, it would have been a nightmare to navigate the lookout with a bunch of nuisances in our way."

"She's your girlfriend?...Well, she must feel honored, being in a relationship with one of Scargot's children!"
He was legitimately impressed that Kaula had stolen the heart of Reikiko. They seemed like two very different people, but if they truly loved each other then perhaps that didn't matter much. Love was certainly an interesting thing, and something Bing never really felt much in 'that way'. Sure, he loved his Father dearly, but he'd never fallen in love with someone before. Though to be fair he had been on an island for the last 18 years, and living with only your Father isn't great for your relationships...
"You say you've been training her? Is that how she unlocked the power of the Super Saiyan? That transformation is so very intriguing, if only I had some way to study it..."
It was foolish to waste any more time on simple musings, so when Reikiko mentioned that Kami's most prized possessions were far into the Lookout, he quickly got to moving. The human lead the search, slowly walking down one of the dozens of Stairwells into the farthest depths of the Lookout. Though he had explored the place many times, he never found many interesting things. He'd found the library, the many bed chambers, he'd even found an odd supply closet filled with stone statues of dragons, ranging from all shapes and sizes, but never had he found the Sacred Water!
At the mention of a locked room, Bing turned his head and spoke as he walked. "So you've seen it as well? I tried to open it myself, but to no avail. There must be something I can do now that I'm guardian to unlock it...perhaps we'll focus on that some other time however."
The green-clad human raised an eyebrow in curiosity when Reikiko mentioned a forbidden technique. What had she learned that was so powerful, it wasn't meant to be used?
"A forbidden technique you say? Well, if there were ever a time to use it...now would be that time. Vipoi is just as strong as you in your full power, if I assume correctly. But his intentions are wild and chaotic. It may prove difficult to defeat such an unpredictable foe..."
For a moment, Bing pondered what exactly the forbidden technique did. Maybe it was some type of deathly magic that was taboo, or a technique that would allow her to contain Vipoi in a jar? There were many possibilities, but unless Reikiko wanted to say it herself, Bing wouldn't pry.
The duo continued descending further into the bowels of the Lookout. Bing had thought he'd seen the bottom before, but apparently he wasn't even close! There were so many branching paths, so many unseen corridors, and while they all had something interesting in store, none of them held the Sacred Water. He wondered for a brief moment if this search was fruitless, but banished the thought when Reikiko mentioned the lack of opposition.
"Heh, I would have to agree with you on that one Reikiko. It's a good thing being Kami doesn't require having to set up traps either!"
He let out a small chuckle as they turned a corner. Bing wasn't paying full attention, so he smacked face-first into a door that ended off the hallway.
"Oof!"
Bing rubbed his nose in pain. How foolish of him to be smacked by a door! Scargot would have been paying attention, that much was certain. Something about this door was interesting however. It felt...different somehow. He couldn't quite put a finger on it, but he could tell this was something special.
He turned to Reikiko and pointed his finger at the door.
"I think we may have found what we're looking for...care to do the honors?"

A brief smile lingered on Reikiko's lips at Bing's words. Honestly, she had been a little bit curious what Kaula actually thought about their relationship, but for the time being she considered it a subject that didn't demand too much focus. Not only did they need to defeat Vipoi to ensure the galaxy wouldn't suffer from his insanity, but afterwards they also needed to find a cure for their fallen companion. Still, the focus of their conversation briefly turned toward the nature of Kaula's training and Bing's inquiry about whether she had been responsible for helping Kaula attain the legendary Super Saiyan transformation. She shook her head gently in response, explaining in a cheerful tone that slightly shown her amusement at the conversation.
"She obtained it herself, I merely helped her figure the means to reach the desired end."
Nevertheless, they still had plenty to talk about, the primary focus of their conversation now being the mysterious chamber that had been locked within the lookout. Reikiko nodded her head curtly in response, recalling how often she had wondered about the nature of the room. Perhaps it housed a powerful secret weapon, or perhaps it was the hiding place for the secrets that helped create the Dragon Balls. She was uncertain, but in the end she merely nodded her head in agreement.
"I seen the room several times, but never had the opportunity or interest to figure out what was within."
Still, the talk about the forbidden technique caused Reikiko to tense up for a moment, a deep sigh following in response to Bing's suggestion. Certainly, while this forbidden technique would have been best used in a desperate time like now, the consequences of using it would likely be immense. No, she would need to think about this very carefully. A wrongly timed use of this power would surely lead to Vipoi's chance of retaliating, and the consequences of using that technique were high.
"I'd prefer if we were able to avoid using that technique. It is the same technique I used to slay the Supah Saiyajin of West Capitol, and surely you heard about the damage that caused to the land? The destructive properties of it are immense, to the point that a charged version would obliterate any defense Vipoi would muster. Nevertheless, if I use it at its full potential I will be guaranteed to die, for the Kikoho demands a blood price in return for the total annihilation of all who oppose me."
She sighed deeply when suddenly they reached the corner, a hollow sound coming from the door as Bing smashed face-first into it. It seemed they had reached the bottom of the lookout, and the lone door clearly had been the destination they had been pursuing. Nodding her head firmly the Homunculus raised a hand toward the door, and with just a moment of hesitation opened it.
Within the spacious chamber that awaited them it seemed that a large pedestal housed a single large can of water, the purest water she had ever seen. Still, despite the large platform leading toward the pedestal, she couldn't help but find herself a bit excited at the glass surface beneath them, offering them a majestic view of the world beneath them.
"I guess that's the Sacred Water. According from what I know the water naturally refills, likely through some magical means so we won't have to worry about spilling anything if you decide to bump into other doors."
Speaking in jest she turned toward Bing, asking him in a cheerful tone. "So Deputy Kami, should we head to the surface with this and see if our gamble works?"

Bing couldn't help but wonder what exactly the Super Saiyan transformation was. He knew they were searching for something important, but his curious soul burned brightly, desperately needing his question answered. He wondered if Reikiko would even knew how the transformation worked, but if she was in a relationship with a Super Saiyan, she had to know at least a rudimentary amount of knowledge on the subject. With the question eating away at him, he finally caved in and asked.
"So...do you know what causes the transformation? I've only seen three people use it so far, but the one thing they had in common was fury; Zuccetta was furious with Komoto, Kaula mistook me for a villain, and the Saiyan known as Jarvis was on the brink of death when he triggered it. Is fury the key to the power the Super Saiyan wields, or is there something else to it?" He raised a pondering finger to his chin, tapping it quickly.
His attention turned briefly to the subject of the only locked room on the Lookout. He could only assume what was inside, but whatever it may be, it had to be helpful. Were he a wiser man, maybe he'd find a way to unlock it, but for now they'd have to simply do without it he supposed.
"Maybe once this is all over I'll focus my efforts on unlocking that room. Whatever is inside must be helpful in some way..."
Unsurprisingly, Reikiko seemed quite apprehensive in using the forbidden technique. Apparently the technique was the same one used at West Capitol, which, from what he was told, destroyed about half the city on its own. It had some very painful payments for its use as well, apparently it would kill the user should it be charged to maximum power. Bing might have felt saying what he was about to say, but regardless, it needed to be said just in case.
"It sounds dangerous...but if it comes to that, I hope you'll have the courage to use it at its maximum. I hate to ask that of you, but if it needs to be done...please try not to hesitate."
As per Bing's request, Reikiko opened the door to the final room. It slowly swung open, revealing the lone item to be an ornate round jug. It sat atop a pedestal, surrounded by glass flooring which revealed the most beautiful view imaginable. He could see the whole world from this vantage point! It was absolutely beautiful, inciting a surprised gasp from Bing.
"Wow...I don't think I fully realized how high up we truly were...the view is magnificent."
He smiled as he stepped forwards, inspecting the can with interest. "So this is the water I've been searching for...I would have liked to have found it before the battle at North Captiol, but better late than never..."
Bing grabbed the jug from the pedestal, holding it in his right hand as he turned around to face Reikiko. She suggested they take the can upstairs to the outside, to which Bing agreed with a nod.
"Sounds good to me! Let's get going, there's no time to waste now that we've found it!"
The green-clad Guardian moved past the homunculus girl and rushed up the stairs. He was eager to see what exactly the Sacred Water would do. He'd read about it before, but seeing it in action would be an entirely different story!
He reached the top floor in no time flat. If Reikiko wasn't here yet he'd simply wait, but if she was here already, he would hand her the jug.
"I was in such a rush I forgot to bring a cup...so I guess you can just drink straight from the source."
Bing waited with baited breath. He didn't expect to be so excited, but here he was, nervous goosebumps and all! He silently hoped the effects wouldn't be something horrible, but with a name like "Sacred Water", it was unlikely anything bad was going to occur...hopefully.

At Bing's inquiry Reikiko merely nodded her head in response. While the secret nature of the Super Saiyan transformation was not so easily described, Reikiko did have some theories surrounding the use of an emotional trigger that helped the Saiyan ascend. Nevertheless, it was a theory she didn't really care to test any longer after her conversation with Zucceta. It was clear that the Saiyan race didn't need her encouragement to help them ascend, so there was little use for her to continue focusing on such a subject.
"Perhaps, all I know is that most Saiyajin demand a certain emotional trigger before they can tap into that power. The loss of a loved one, the fury of an enemy who humiliation them and then left them on the brink of death or maybe even the frustration at the lack of power to match their rivals. Nevertheless, the Saiyajin people seem rather offended when we try to study the nature of their ascension. So I ceased looking further into it."
Still, they had reached the surface of the lookout, and upon being told to drink straight from the source she couldn't help but chuckle in amusement at his carefree thought. Who knew what sorts of effect drinking from the can would have, but in the end there was no time to waste, so taking a hold of the jug she replied after taking a deep breath.
"I will be consuming the water while releasing my power, so do not be that surprised about what might happen next."
As she finished speaking she brought the jar to her lips, and took a deep sip from it. Initially it tasted just like ordinary water would, but at the same time she quickly pressed the jar back into Bing's hands and stepped backwards, a hand grasping for her chest while her expression twisted into a visible display of pain. She could feel the dark influence of her power spread through her body, her silver aura visibly twisting into an obsidian color, burning brightly while the air itself grown colder and heavier, as if they suddenly had entered a gravity chamber. Still, the most remarkable feature was likely the purple-colored irises and the faint glow with them.
It was at that point the water had started to flow freely through her body, steadily washing away the tainted presence and after several long moments the obsidian aura turned into a silver color once more, and her eyes regained their azure tint.
"I can feel the darkness fading. Nevertheless, we'll have to confirm whether I'm able to retain control long enough for me to be capable of besting Vipoi. Not to mention, it would be useful for you to learn how to survive against a foe with an overwhelming difference in power Bing. If you were to challenge Vipoi you'd need to know when to use your strongest techniques, when to play defensively and when to retreat. Although I tried to teach Kaula the importance of strategy, I doubt she'll go for anything but raw power, so let's try and see if I can drill some tactical battling into your body."
She smiled calmly, letting her energy flow freely, and for once it felt good that the corrupting influence was gone from her body.
"Let's put the jug aside and practice a bit. I'll start in a simple method for you to counter. This technique of mine is called Blitz Mode. By briefly charging my body with ki I'll be able to move faster and hit harder than normally. However, this power has a fatal weakness, try to figure it out."
After she had waited for Bing to put aside the jar her aura suddenly seemed to condense into a faint hue around her body, and with an almost blinding speed she enclosed any distance between the human and herself, a leg sweeping sideways with the intention to kick him backwards, and if her blow had landed she would have leaped after him, almost a feline pounce that led to her hand lifted into the air, fingers curled up into a fist that would have tried to slam into the human, and likely cracked the tiles of the floor beneath him from the sheer pressure of the blow, whether it hit him or not.
Nevertheless, after that punch the silver hue seemed to fade and her movements had become more easy to read once more.
"Figured it out yet?"
Of course the trick to Blitz Mode was that while the boost to her speed and strength was significant, to the point she could even challenge ki beams the fact remained that it was a technique that had a duration limit. At most she would be able to keep this burst of power going for a few moments before it faded away, leaving her vulnerable for a counter-attack!
"It's important to know when to defend and when to strike. Especially an opponent like Vipoi will likely let his arrogance take the better of him. Use that against him. Nevertheless, it be preferred if we can finish this battle with Vipoi without any casualties on our side. It's for that reason I plan to use his overconfidence against him. If you, me and Kaula fight in a one on one battle against him he'll assume none of us will be able to best him, so when I keep my true power hidden until a moment he lets down his guard we could take him down in one fell swoop. Unfortunately the chance is huge weaker people from the events in North Capitol will seek him out. If it gets to that the chance is likely we won't be able to protect them all..."
She was genuinely concerned about the idea of the weaker heroes of Earth causing a repeat of the events at North Capitol, but she'd likely be unable to avoid that. They chose their own battles, and would have to bear the consequences themselves. Still, for now she had something else to focus on.
KP: 2/3 Blitz Mode N1: 2,283,591 Damage in the form of a Melee Brawl, so basically she is moving fast and hitting hard, almost like a bulking type of charge, just without the negative downside~

It seemed there might be less to the transformation than Bing had thought. It was mostly based on emotion and a need; be it the need to kill a foe, or simply the loss of a friend with a need to make things right. The grey-haired human nodded silently. With his question answered, he decided to drop the discussion. Any more research would have to be done on his own time, which he didn't have a lot of at the current moment.
"Simply fascinating...I must speak with Kaula some day about the subject, maybe getting the perspective of an actual Super Saiyan will better help me understand its power."
He wasn't quite sure why he was so curious about the power the legend held. Perhaps it was because the form was shrouded in so much mystery. Though learning more might not pertain to gaining his own strength, he might be able to help a Saiyan student reach that power some time down the line, assuming he survived long enough to make his Father's request a reality.
Maybe his expectations were a bit too high for the Sacred Water. As Reikiko took a sip, he fully expected a magical metamorphosis to take place, or at least a brilliant flash of light; not much fanfare occurred however. An interesting sight did reveal itself at the very least. Reikiko's silver aura changed hues, morphing into a dark crimson, before flashing back to silver once again. Another interesting result was that it allowed Reikiko to unleash her full power, free pf the corruption caused by whatever dark presence lay deep inside her.
"Wow...your power is astounding...I've never felt anything like it before! We have to spar right away!"
Reikiko passed the jug back to Bing. It seemed she was thinking the same way. She wanted to test Bing's ability against a vastly stronger opponent. While Bing had challenged Vipoi to a battle on his own before, he failed then. He was only still here because of his savior, Tako, arriving on the scene just in time. Though he didn't know her well, Bing grew fond of that rainbow-haired girl. Sadly, she wasn't alive anymore. He couldn't dwell on that though, he had training to do.
Bing placed the jug down near the entrance to the palace, and turned back to Reikiko. The human walked towards the middle of the Lookout, standing directly between the two rows of trees. With a quick nod, he signified to his partner the he was ready. He slipped into his battle stance and awaited Reikiko's first move.
At a blinding speed, the homunculus girl shot forwards. He could only briefly catch a glimpse of the girls leg as it swung forward, impacting on Bing's mid-section. He was flung backwards painfully by the attack, landing prone on his back at a fair distance. Reikiko continued her assault, leaping into the air like a starving lion on the hunt for its next meal. Her hand was balled into a fist, ready to strike down the human where he lay. He had to act quick to avoid this immediate defeat!
Reikiko's fist smashed into the ground, but hit nothing but tile. Bing's form dissipated entirely as she connected with it; he had used the After-Image technique!
He re-appeared at her left flank, attempting to hit her in the side with an open-palm strike. Should the attack be successful, he would try to follow it up by twisting his body forwards and delivering a mighty punch with the opposite hand.
"I see...It's a short burst of speed. If you can time it correctly, you can easily counter-attack soon after!" Bing hopped backwards, somersaulting through the air as he made distance between himself and the homunculus. "I understand your strategy...wait until he thinks he's secured victory, then strike at full power! An act of deception like that could work, but I suppose we'd have to be wary, in case he decides to attempt to end the fight early to secure the kill as soon as possible."
It seemed Reikiko wasn't the only one concerned about the lives of the weaker fighters. While many had shown up to North Capitol, most of them died at the hands of Vipoi quite easily. Bing hoped that some warriors would arrive to watch the battle, but if they were to interfere they could get themselves hurt.
"If warriors do show up, it means they care for their planet. I'd be more worried if we were the only ones there to be honest with you."
KP: 2/3 Took the kick [SU1] After-Image used to avoid the second attack. Counter-attacked with an open-palm with his right hand strike followed up by a punch with his left.

It was true, it was a clever strategy, yet at the same time most likely one that Vipoi would anticipate. Yet for the time being Reikiko returned her focus on the spar against Bing. It appeared the lad had an eye for detail and the ability to calculate his actions in combat. While she had succeeded in kicking him away, the moment her fist connected to the ground she knew something was off. A rapid movement? No, the fact she missed at the last moment suggested an after-image! Fortunately her ki sense had allowed her to detect the sudden approach from her flank, and while she raised a hand to parry the strike of Bing's palm, the punch that followed caused her to reel backwards slightly, her guard fortunately not yet broken.
"Good! Such nimble movements can mean the difference between dodging an attack and being killed by it."
However, she wasn't done yet. The moment the punch had forced her backwards Reikiko raised her free hand backwards, a sphere of energy gathering in her hand before she tossed several of the projectiles at the human guardian. They were basic projectiles, far from the type that would properly inflict damage but hopefully it would disrupt him long enough for her to carry out her next attack. She had a plan, and while she needed a little bit longer before she could properly use her attack, at least it would open up the path for a nice little exchange of fists alongside their words.
"He is unlikely to act serious right away. His whole mentality seems cocky and conceited, the announcement of fighting the strongest warriors makes it sound like he considers this nothing but a game. It's only when he feels threatened or angered that we'll likely see his full power."
Her body surged forwards, intending to enclose the distance between herself and Bing before raising her arm backwards. She was ready to take a hit, and even willing to do that if it means being able to land a blow on the lad's body. In the end the first strike would likely be more than enough to break a regular martial arts warrior his defense, and then the flurry of blows would be more than enough to cause some minor damage in preparations for the spectacle.
"Steel yourself Bing, in a few moments I'll show you the weakest version of my forbidden technique. If you have any barriers I'll propose to prepare to shield yourself, cause I'm estimating your speed to be too low to avoid this attack."
Despite their brawl she sounded surprisingly cheerful, suggesting that she was likely enjoying their little back and forth exchange of words and fists. Nevertheless, she still remained concerned about Bing's thought that other warriors might end up showing up for the battle. Were more people going to die like the events at West Capitol and North Capitol? Still, she decided to return her focus onto the battle, her energy starting to recharge and prepare for the surprise she had in store for Bing.

Bing was doing decently for what he was up against. Someone who was literally twice his strength was something he'd already had to deal with before, but this fight was less hopeless. Perhaps his recent training was helping him keep up better? Regardless, he was confident he could do some damage to Reikiko before the spar was out. His first strike was blocked masterfully, but the second seemed to stagger the homunculus somewhat. The grey-haired guardian smiled at Reikiko's compliment, nodding respectfully as he replied.
"Thank you Reikiko. You aren't too bad yourself I must say, your kick packed quite the punch!" He chuckled lightly before returning to a slightly more serious expression.
Luckily, Bing had already hopped backwards slightly earlier. If he hadn't, it might have been difficult to avoid the incoming Ki barrage. They were weak attacks, most likely used to distract rather than to hurt. He batted them away easily as he waited for the real assault to begin. What would it be though? It could be another melee strike, or perhaps she was going to use a stronger Ki attack? There was no way to tell until she tried something he supposed. He listened to Reikiko's explanation, saying Vipoi was clearly overconfident, which would be his downfall at the challenge next week. Bing nodded in agreement.
"I suppose you're correct. However, people act strangely when backed into a corner. If he notices something is off, he might become desperate before we are ready to strike."
Bing's eyes widened in surprise when Reikiko dashed forwards. She brought her arm back for a mighty strike, leaving her wide open for a counter-attack. While it would have been easy to get a quick attack in, Bing was apprehensive for a brief moment.
"No...something's not right here...she wouldn't reveal an opening so easily. There's something else to this attack."
Reikiko brought her arm forwards, but Bing was able to just barely avoid the attack. It grazed him, but he was glad he didn't go for a counter-attack just then as that would have caused some severe pain. Reikiko wasn't through yet however. She let out a flurry of punches, aimed to most likely disorient Bing. He was able to bob and weave around a few of the strikes, but most hit their mark. Each hit stung painfully, but Bing was able to push through the pain. It could have been worse, but getting hit still wasn't preferred.
The last attack of Reikiko's flurry sent Bing back a bit. He flew through the air, but a few well-timed flips allowed him to land on his feet without trouble.
At the mention of Reikiko's forbidden technique, Bing grew worried. If this was as powerful as she described, things could get rough, even if this was going to be the weakest version of it. He couldn't get discouraged however, this was simply a spar. If he couldn't keep up here, what use was going to be against Vipoi? He crossed his arms in front of him, and a translucent grey barrier formed around his body. This barrier was a technique he learned on Namek, and it had served him well so far. Nothing he'd faced was able to break it, but Reikiko was quite the formidable opponent; would it be able to hold out against her forbidden technique?
"I hope this will be enough..."

It was rather fascinating to see Bing nimbly deflect her approaching ki blasts. Not only did it show that the lad had quick reflexes, but also possessed the ability to think and react quickly in a situation that demanded decisive choices. While her flurry of punches had mostly hit their target, the attack was more than enough to distract the boy from her charging energy. It was of course by the last of her flurry of blows that she send him knocked a fair distance away, and with the chess pieces set it was time for her to produce a check-mate. With several nimble hops she bounced backwards, the last leap sending her flying upwards into the air while she watched Bing's energy charging rapidly. It seemed he was going to follow her advice, at least that reassured her that the technique she was about to use would not downright kill the lad.
"Hope you're ready for this..."
Raising her hands upwards the girl allowed the energy to start surging within her, and while initially it seemed like no visible signs of her power were noticeable that all changed a mere moment after her hands had formed the familiar diamond-shaped formation, the window inside it exposing Bing to her watchful gaze. To her visual senses it was as if the lad was slowly being zoomed in within her hands...
"Ki..."
As her energy started to surge more strongly the familiar silver-colored aura started to visibly surge outwards, a fierce burning aura that started to unleash gusts of wind with each rise in strength. Yet, what was different from normally was that the aura seemed to visibly coil around her, almost like a serpent and to those with a vivid imagination it might had looked like a serpent was indeed coiling around her, a giant creature that hissed at Bing, the head of the creature raised above Reikiko, and leaning over toward her outstretched hands.
"Ko..."
By now the aura was flaring so wildly that a strong wind gust was breezing through the air, shaking the trees that were planted around the timeless lookout. Even at its lowest level it seemed the aura of the Homunculus had reached a peak of roughly nine million on terms of raw power, a power that a moment later would rush toward Bing in a vicious bee-line while she shouted amidst the crackling hisses of her aura.
"HO!"
The aura, suddenly started to pour into the window in her hands, as if the serpentine creature had released its coil on Reikiko and sneaked into the diamond-shaped window her hands had maintained, and with a burst of speed the ki beam launched itself straight at Bing. To the boy the overwhelming speed and strength of the Kikoho would likely been made as clear as it could be, in the end few possessed the means to counter the Kikoho once it was launched, and the sheer speed of the technique was too fast for most to even avoid! Nevertheless, once the beam reached the barrier the struggle was one Reikiko would observe with interest while descending back to the ground, having intended to render the boy on the brink of unconsciousness. Of course the devastating attack had its effect on her also, leaving her gasping lightly for breath while a hand rested on her sprained shoulder. That technique really was dangerous...
Steadily making her way over to the boy she would have knelt down beside him and started to apply her species' healing ability to recover Bing's injuries.
"You see... if I use this technique at its full power one wrong move could devastate our entire planet... Either way, we should rest and recover for a bit"

Bing's eyes watched from behind his dull-colored barrier as the homunculus nimbly leapt into the air. She stopped mid-air and began charging her Ki. At first, her power seemed to be invisible; but eventually, her power showed itself. A veritable maelstrom of energy swirled around the girl as her power continually rose. The grey-haired guardians eyes were filled with worry as the swirling energy continued to grow in strength. It was reaching a level Bing didn't think was even possible! He gritted his teeth as the power reached its peak.
"Whoa...this is nuts! And this is the weakest version?!"
Reikiko shouted, and the energy was shot forth. It was diamond-shaped, and extremely deadly. The Kikoho smashed into Bing's barrier, causing a painfully shrill shriek as the two energy's collided. While the humans barrier proved to be capable on most occasions, the energy being smashed into was simply much too strong. The Kikoho shattered the barrier after only a few moments.
"Damn!"
The energy washed over Bing's body as he yelled in pain. It cut at his skin, burning away most of his clothing and revealing his scarred chest. He instinctively brought his arms up in a cross pattern to block some of the damage, but it did no good. He let out another pained yell as the energy finally began to dissipate.
Bing fell to one knee, his breath ragged as he attempted to stand. "D-damn...I...can keep...going...just gimme...one sec..."
He felt a cooling energy wash over him as Reikiko approached. Apparently, the homunculus had the ability to heal wounds. The grey-haired human stood up after a few moments, looking over himself as it seemed all of his wounds had cleared up. The burns and gashes had healed over immediately. If his clothes weren't ruined it would look like he had never even gotten into a fight at all!
Of course, there was one wound Reikiko's power couldn't heal; a scar from his battle with Realigner Red. The scar in question was five vertical indents squarely on his stomach; a permanent reminder of the knife-hand attack Red used to end their bout in the Fukurou Forest. Bing covered the scar with his hand, and spoke.
"Well...I can certainly see why you wouldn't want to use that attack at full power...I think I'm gonna go grab a change of clothes."
With his hand still covering his scar, Bing walked towards the innards of the Lookout.
