[Thread PL 8552; Appears 5 At the moment.]
Night time at South Capitol was… Well, it wasn’t always the safest of places to be. Even with sizeable militaries running around Earth. The place seems to always house criminal activity in one form or another. This is actually his most frequented place outside of his home city, East Capitol. With reason too, since he is one of the few willing to go to lengths to stop said criminal activity. Right now he was hiding out in an older building on the outer limits, long thought to be abandoned. Full operative gear was what he wore out to the city. Balaclava covering most of his face, Trench coat, his typical daggers, some binoculars, and a sense of mind of what he was trying to do. At this point he was just waiting to jump known targets.
“Keep your wits about you, Darkus. A few of the men coming in as bodyguard will most likely be fairly strong opponents. You’ve dealt with such threats before, but just another caution.” Gustavo, his old man, was talking to him through the silence of the embedded earpiece on his ear. Darkus, however, was already set for such an occasion.
“It will be fine. Already went through with traps ready to pick off most of them. Capturing them alive, of course.” The young man assured him without muttering a word back, rather just thinking the communication back to Gus. A sort of Telepathy almost, except using technology to accomplish it.

[PL 110 663] Jarvis was in the upper floor smoking on a cigar hand wrapped a bit finer of earthly Tobacco and other contents wrapped inside it. The bellowing smoke that whisped passed his lips carried a sweet light headed scent. A few other men were around firearms for their protection. Three men with pistols and rifles near them but set down at peace for the time. A few other heavy hitters in the business were sitting near Jarvis a client next to him sitting on the came couch the one across from him protected by the three gentlemen in the room. six in all counting himself. Jarvis was in his usually apparel of the black saiyan under suit. Sleeveless as usually with his blue visor scouter one with a blue lens across both eyes as both ear pieces were holding it on. His sword rested on the table. Not that he really needed it but it was only direct to put the larger weapons out in view. Over his sleeveless saiyan body suit was black military human pants and and combat boots. Comfortable earthling clothing. His hands covered in black gloves.
His scouter hadn't been going off and normally he'd not much care if it did. He could avoid these by running at full power easier then learning to hide himself just yet like others did on this planet. He'd sit back up after a few moments tapping the end of his cigar lightly to knocking ashes off the end as the heated embers burned glowing at the end of it. The place wasn't so bad on the inside. A little hide out for meetings and the like now and again. Safe and paid for protections. His client had just grown more found of people of power over gun man for hire anymore. They'd talk and scamper on about something or another in trading. Whether or not he would condone their business was none of his business personally. There were things he'd never do himself but when a partner did it that was their business. Blood and grim only effected him if his hands were stained directly in certain moments. Others to their own accord though. "We need to wrap this up. The blue banner folks were looking for you earlier... I don't exactly fancy running into that droid again. Or letting him catch up to no good." Jarvis trying to put a rush on things.

“So, your game plan is all figured out? Okay. I’ll be in touch.” Gus sighs on the other end before finishing. “Stay safe, kid.” Then it went silent. Just the murmurs of guardsmen. Mostly above him at the time. In the large warehouse area below him were tons of boobytraps means for other sto walk into. Put into places he’d preemptively thin personnel to walk into. Darkus himself was above the show on a single catwalk spanning the length of this large room. The thing was, he’d need to coax them into coming down for him.
“I will.” He’d respond to Gus as he started slowly crossing the catwalk. Eyeing a fuse box settled up here, which would be a nice way to get them distracted down here. It even made sense, as it controlled power to the lights in here as well. Even with ways to find people using a sense much like his, they’d find it hard pressed to locate one with such a low and insignificant output. He was careful to not make much noise as he walked towards it. The Fuse box was locked of course. What else to do that pull a dagger out of his coat and give the side a large thwack to cut it open. It was loud enough to be heard, but the silent Darkus was quick to start shutting down switches. The building was shutting down, light flickering off as power was cut from them.
“That was loud. I suggest findin’ cover.” Gus barked through the earpiece shortly after. It'd suggest they kept connected even after Gus told him he was signing off. Men in the building were already getting a little louder from the sound of things, the sudden shortage of power throwing off most of what they were doing.
“Just what I needed, actually.”

The lights flickered off after a very light thunk of metal was heard. Quickly man were yammering and Jarvis groaned a bit smirking as well though as a feint red amber light of his cigar was lit infront of his face before he pulled it from his lips and placed slowly down using its light to identify and locate the ash tray. He'd hear the men making them out only slightly in the distance as they readied their guns. Aiming around and quickly getting within range of their own client. Jarvis already close to his placing a hand on the mans shoulder to get him to sit back down when he tried to rise. Jarvis ensuring him to stay put with a rough grip and shove. "Well, Looks like some lass or lad is having a little fun wit us." Jarvis said rising from his seat. "Lets have at least a wee bit of light roight?" He'd say raising his hand drawing his energy forming two quickly made spheres of ki in each hand like glowing balls of aqua. Quickly tossed upward one after another lighting the room for but a moment as the ceiling shattered exploding out Rubble upward destroying most of it and sending it outward so few bits would rain inward. The men in charge looked as if they may protest but presently whatever was wrong was more the problem. Besides its not like he was gonna get shorted pay anyway. These folks knew better.
The sky above was dark and light stars light up the sky. The hole was a controlled size for morale light an to keep the moon for now hidden from sight. Didn't need to go accidentally squishing his meal ticket now. "Alright then lads... Lets see if we can't find who came to crash the little party?" Grabbing at the pistol at one of the mans hips. They all had plenty fire power with rifles alone. Sure they were hired by the other client but protecting the big wigs was the deal at the end anyway. "Don't fret now... I'll use these little things for now... Try and control future collateral and all dat. I just dun like being in da dark don't cha know." He'd say cocking the pistol finding it neat like a little toy. This only being the second time he'd used a earthling fire arm. But they were in many ways similar to blasters on arcose. He got the gist on how to use it fairly quickly. "Now lets see if we can't find what little people went and made a mess of things."

The loud boom of someone above him blasting the building gave some alarm to the young man. Flinching as he dropped to a knee on the catwalk and carefully started sensing around for people. This… didn’t help the slight nervous emotion slipping into Darkus as he becomes overwhelmed with one’s in particular. He has felt powers like this before, but nothing on this scale. He had to be… ten times as strong at the very least. If not more, as Darkus wasn’t the best at this part of sensing just yet.
“I hope I brought something sharper than my knives to throw…” He’d mutter to himself as he eyed the exit from the stairwell with ease. A few of the first men on the lines would start marching down in small droves, their footsteps echoing in the warehouse part of the building. Some at the first to come on out would be bombarded with the ticks… No, the noise. Nothing would seem to happen at first, and those who heard it promptly stepped back out until the clicking stopped. A few of the others behind them gave them condescending glares though.
“Stop being wussies, move it!” A couple of guys get shoved out of the stairwell only to be received by a couple of large strands of wire that latch onto them. Improvised traps made cheap, really, as they send electric shocks to those coming on it. The two fall on the ground with a yell of pain before passing out on the ground. “What the? Traps? get in there and find them out, you slackers!”
“Good, they work well enough.” He’d whisper to himself as he watches the spectacle in darkness. Less money he had to waste on stuff like this, the more he got to save up.

Jarvis pushed his way past the others as a few went out shocked the remaining guard dragging his buddies back checking them for vitals an to see how badly they were injured. "Alright... YA down here?" The upper room seemingly void of anyone but the few who were there previously. He'd hover tot he ceiling of the second floor and violently send a fist through the flooring breaking a small hole in the ground peaking through to make sure none were above and giving them a few moments to clear out before sending three or four more blows breaking decent sized hole open as he hovered there. Letting a bit more star light break in as he'd slowly lower to the ground.
Jarvis clicking his scouter several times afterwards one of his hand still clutching his pistol. "Come out little poppet... I know you're in here. Did that blue banner send you? Are you from one of those other gangs? You a friend of that fruity little boy from the pub?" Jokingly guessing as he though of the saiyan boy he'd met not long ago. A little rattle in the distance possibly a rat or some loose materials creaking from damage to the building caught his ear and in a near instant he turned and fired a little shock of light illuminating the room with the night light of the stars. A second as well as something skittered on the ground not far off as a couple more pops went off. Three bullets remaining in his gun counting the one in his chamber. "Fuckin rats... I hate rats..." Thinking of some not to fond memories of past areas he'd been stored that had rats. You'd be surprised how many ships and cruisers still got little vermin stowaways. "I'm give you a chance to come out... or I can let my partners go and really thrash this place... Judging from you keeping hidden... I can guess we ain't met before." He'd say recalling how the other hero types did their business more directly.

And everything was going so well too.
That large power level had gotten up in the front lines of it all and just absolutely managed to ruin his little hiding scheme by breaking light into the warehouse. A few of the same snare-wire traps would pop out at Jarvis as he both went up and went back down to the ground. The poor rats though, they would not be spared should the wire miss and land to them instead. The man in blue hair would ask questions. The place remained silent for a few moments despite this.
“Shit…” Darkus murmered. He wasn’t in the greatest place now, but he has yet to be seen. There was no being absolutely quiet on the catwalk to the left of the stairway, but he tried moving down away from it as quietly as he could. Of course others heard this.
“Over there!” A few of them started rattling off bullets in the general direction of the sound, but none were impressive enough to land anywhere close to Darkus. This would be where he’d jump off from the darkness and land on a large stack of crates not much smaller than the height of the catwalk. Staying crouched down on them as he was now on the other, darker end of the warehouse portion.

Jarvis avoided the wires in his moves quick in destruction. Rubble helping block a few as he smashed the holes mentioned prior. Bullets gave him a direction and a sound of a thud on wood. Jarvis would quickly smirk tossing the to the side firing a flurry of blasts rushing for the boxes after sending a few quickly launched balls of ki using it to also light up the area in what would likely be a array of flashing light and splintering wood explosions if none of them hit Darkus. He'd try and spot whoever was there. If he saw or not wouldn't change his motion. "Enough games boyo! I don't like this cat and mouse game!"
At full speed rushing forward arms out to his side. He'd run forward like a ramming bull listening and looking for any sign of Darkus in the ki's light. If he saw so much of a trace of him his final ending to the bull rush would be to try and tackle him and if he was infact able to get Darkus in his rush he'd try and continue in a rush to take him through the wall and outside of this cramped dark building. His boots clacking on the ground as he used his full speed a smirk ever present like a serpents grin. His blue hair sleek and spiked as he rushed forward.

The crashing of crates as blasts were hurled at them give a surprise to Darkus. Wasn’t expecting the guy to be so observant. He’d jump off and down from the crates to avoid the crumbling crates. The bright light for a moment illuminating his whole body and everything around it as he landed into a kneel. He’d straighten himself out to jump out at the blue haired man only to see him barreling towards him at insane speeds. In a quick attempt he’d pull a dagger from his sleeve and launch it at him from a point-blank distance. The dagger glowing red as he puts his demonic power behind it to launch at his face. Even with this there was no way he’d stop the man from rushing him.
“HNK!” Darkus grunted as he was initially ran into, easily breaking some ribs from this impact. Next would be the wall behind them, which he’s also thrown into with relative ease. He’s yell loudly in pain as his arm gets dislocated from this eruption out of the building too. After that, Darkus felt his body flying a bit until he slammed into the ground several meters ahead of him, landing hard on his back with his whole dislocated arm twisted and mangled. This sudden attack was devastating. Darkus wasn’t giving up just yet though as he tried pulling himself up with his good arm, standing up to a knee and glancing to Jarvis with a glare of blue eyes. Slowly, these eyes changed to red as he grabbed hold of his dislocated arm by the shoulder and gave it a good push to shove it back into place. Sweat was rolling down his forehead as he yelled again. Agony striking him.
“What the hell… Who are you…” The voice was stoic and demeaning, but very down to earth. normal for a young man his age. He'd start dusting rubble off his coat and pick a few of the wood spliters that got caught in it.

Jarvis closed his eye tight not slowing down when he collided with Darkus feeling the edge slide and slice at his cheek tilting his head in the rush as blood splattered behind him and leaded from his face. Laughing out manically in the collision. He'd feel the collision through Darkus relishing being in control like this. Into the wall then through it his target launching Jarvis himself losing a bit of balance in the way through stumbling and rolling on his back landing on a knee kneeling for a moment staring off the warrior his left cheek bleeding lightly adding a crimson the blue of his features as blue hue eyes stared him down. Letting out a whistle as the man cracked his arm into place while thinking of how to also respond to his words. "Now that sounded a tad painful. Who am I? I'm just your average man for hire boy! You sadly chose the wrong business to stick yer nose in tonight!" He'd say rubbing his cheek of blood. Smearing it a bit his blue tail wavering lightly and moving around behind him. Jarvis would clench his eyes shut and raise a hand to the side of his cheek capsulizing his scouter and slipping it away into a case he looked downward at after. He'd remove another one something he got fairly easily from local law enforcement as he'd slip on some blutz ban glasses.
They'd shield the moons rays from his eyes for the time. At least until he desired its aid. "I'm the guy they pay so guys like you don't interfere." He'd say quickly on both feet again. Holding his fists up infront of him in light brawling stance hopping up and down like a boxer in place. "What say we have a bit fun glowy eyes?" When he hit the ground from the hopping he'd kick off using a boost in flight as well to lunge at Darkus. Blood speckling out from his cheek in the rush trying to throw a lunging fist in the rush towards Darkus's gut. If the move was stopped or hit wouldn't stop his attempts even if missed. He'd follow it up with his feet hitting the ground in stance and going to knee the man in his nether regions if possible while in tune with his arms trying to reach out and grab hsi shoulders to hold him in a lock to face him. Wanting to get a look in those eyes.

Darkus would stare him down, getting into a little stance of his own. He was sure ready for him to come to, and when he did he was prepared enough to TRY and counter that. When the first punch came out, he took his hands and grabbed at Jarvis’s incoming punch to try and steer it away. This just got him to ‘punch himself’, his hands bending into him as well as the punch landing solid with little resistance. A large snapping sound is heard as one of his wrists crack and the tall guy promptly leans over to cough up blood. He’d irk in pain and and try retaliating with a punch to the head. In mid-throw, however, a quick knee to the groin would cause him to yell in pain lurch and back only to be caught by the Saiyan. Blood stained his black balaclava over the mouth from where he spat out blood, and his eyes were filled with pain and resistance. He already looked fatigued from what few blows he had taken. yet, he still takes time to talk.
“Nice glasses.” He’d remark before attempting to give Jarvis a good headbutt as the rest of his body was held in place. An arm useless, and his ribs cracked. If that headbutt wouldn’t work, he’d try returning the favor and kneeing Jarvis back in the lower parts of society.

Jarvis would feel the head collide with his own as he fought to keep his grasps on the man. One of the lenses of the glasses cracking and breaking out. Jarvis immediately after as he tried to open his eyes felt a knew crash into his nether regions and would tightly bit his lips his eyes shaking a bit in a unfocused vision behind the glasses. One eye in view now through the mostly missing left eye piece. He'd grumble a bit trying to squeeze a little harder in his grasp. "You... little twit..." He'd grumble back clearly a little angered as he'd try and regain a firm grasp beginning to arch his head back anger driven. "Find you wanna mimic and trade similar blows!" He'd say trying to yank the man close and send several barrages of his forehead against the mans own if possible. Trying to be as the jackhammer pummeling away old pavement. "Lets see how thick that head is copper."
Jarvis would aim to hit direct foreheads in his attempts so they'd both feel the same blow. Around the end of it should the man have become dazed Jarvis would have reached out with a hand likely trying to grab the top of that lightly sticky looking mask now. Probably if he got hold gripping some of the hair as well under cloth. Jarvis would attempt to roughly rip the mask and whatever was in his grasp off with a strong yank. He' try and take in a good glance either way whether staring down a mans eyes only or his whole face now. Either way he was starting to like this bloke. He had a little bit of style that ya didn't see in all these self riotous types of late. The residual pain in his nether regions as well slowly fading. Feeling a little angry and definitelywanting a spot of pay back. His blue tail tensing behind him in more rough movement. A sign of agitation even if his face and smirk showed little.

Darkus wasn’t going anywhere, the grasp on his shoulders being enough to keep him up and close. “People like you make me sick…” Darkus would retort right before Jarvis would lower him down to closer and ram his head back into him. The first blow was fine, jarring if anything. So Darkus tried straightening up after it. Instead he got a second, which caused another bloody mess on his forehead as skin broke. The third would render his red-eye senses null as they fade back into their natural blue hues. Every strike would cause him to lurch back and yell in pain. A fourth knock to the head buckles his legs as he starts stumbling and falling in his grasp. He was completely dazed at this point, his eyes losing focus.. it’d be up to Jarvis to keep him on his feet now. A fifth threw more blood on his face a skin tore in multiple places.
“G-gah…” His breath was heavy as he tried refocusing his eyes. The blue guy would find it easy to grip his hair from under the mask and rip the balaclava off to reveal a messy, bloody face of a young human male. Sharp features stretching his face, but nothing overly masculine. The blood smeared and covered a majority of his face. With the mask off he’d cough more blood up again. This time it’d most likely land on Jarvis who was nearby. His whole body was sore, from his bleeding stomach, to his snapped wrist, to his broken ribs in his chest, and up to his blood-battered head that throbbed in pain from the headbutts. His blue eyes were dilating as he tried looking back at Jarvis with a snarl. “Didn’t… C-CAGH” He’d cough up even more blood that flew in every which direction in front of him. His voice was pained. It seemed hard to talk, so he kept quiet.
A few of the other guards had made their way out after them, guns pointed but not fully readied towards Darkus as the keep distance away from them. Some of them were ready to go off should something happen, but another one of the more powerful guys gestured to them with an arm to lower their weapons and started walking closer. Still keeping a comfortable distance away. “At ease, monkey-boy here can handle himself. Aye?”

He'd take in the feeling of the light ache in his head and note how the copper was doing a little worse for wear. His own body light stained from coughed up blood as his hands would shift lightly still holding the man on his feet refusing to let him fall. He'd lick his lips looking over the mans face reaching out as he'd softly try to hold Darkus up with a hand at his shoulder another trying to lift his chin to look deep in his eyes. "This one is mine Boyo... Leave it alone." He'd say softly smirking roughly. "Ya got spirit I have to admit that... But I don't forget a face easily Lad,.. Consider this next time you play vigilante." Jarvis would say trying to prepare for an attack. His eyes glowing a little in their light blue hues. A gasp leaving his lips as he began focusing energy internally. His arm shooting to try and go around Darkus back and pull him close. His other would go for the throat if possible.
His lips would try to meet Darkus's if he got the connection Jarvis would use his energy to painfully suck out the glowing energy from one mouth of Darkus into his own. The energy dispersing into nothing as it was pulled out. The soul reason for this and intent was to painfully pull it from Darkus damaging and putting great pain on the body. A glowing lightly between their lips if the lock was connected. A pained strong attempt to see just how long Darkus could take such a stride if the attempt went through.

Darkus was light, considering he wasn’t one of those extremely buff characters you would typically find possessing power. Holding him up with a single arm would prove super easy. After a good moment of brief monologue from Jarvis his eyes slowly came back in place. Glaring into Jarvis’s own blue eyes as he grumbled. He’d try shaking his bloody head out of the grasp, but found himself just squirming. “Damn you…” next time he’ll make sure he’s more apt into dealing with such strong people. He wasn’t rich like batman, so ways to deal with people were limited even with his skill.
Darkus winced as he thought another strike was coming his way only to be treated to an odd sensation. His good arm flailing out to try and pry away from him, but it was already too late. A kiss…? Well, sort of. It was like someone hugging you just to squeeze you. Break bones and such. The suddenness and sheer shock from it made Darkus start to resist as he tried squirming away from him. After long seconds of it showing to be a futile effort he laid way and more so just tried holding onto what energy he had left. Feeling himself slip… fall into a darkness as his vision blackened. He’d go limp completely now. Eyes closed, arm falling.
“Hey now… Huh…” The stronger of the other guards spoke again, grooming his beard as he looked at the spectacle being played. Soon enough he’d start ordering the men behind him to get back into the torn up building to resume business as normal. A few complained, but none were hesitant on getting back in. After a bit and seeing most went back in, this man would call out to Jarvis again. “Hey, do us a favor after you’re done here and find any more of those gadgets that could be hiding. Little rat rigged the place, and there’s bound to be more of them!”
