The burning sun had begun fade below the rising night horizon.
Kouda had been standing on a tall dune not far from the camp. Atop there, he could see the crash site of his ship, the Golden Fox. When he and other Ee's/Litts escaped from Arcose and crashed on Earth, the engine of the Golden Fox had melted half of the ship. Stranded in the desert of the ancient planet, the survivors made use of their fallen ship by tearing away scrap in order to build shelters and utilities.
"It saved us from Arcose and it kept us alive here on Earth" Kouda thought admiringly as he stared at the faithful spaceship that he had traveled in all of his life.
Since they arrived on Earth, the Golden Fox was but a bony husk with several shanty huts built around it. As of recent, the makeshift shelters and utilities were dismantled and welded back on to the ship. Thanks to the relentless efforts of the allies he had met here on Earth, they had acquired (stolen) the material and tools needed to restore the deadship to life.
He had lost count of the nights it had been since he and the other Litts began tearing down the camp and restoring the ship. Day and night, the ship glowed as miscellaneous objects in the interior were being welded. It appeared as if it were glowing like a lamp or jack o lantern. Most of the ship had been successfully restored and even upgraded. The new hull gleamed in the dying light. Only a single piece was waiting to be replaced: the engine that had melted on their voyage to Earth.
He swooped down the dune and softly landed in front of the ship. The ship had been raised on landing legs and a platform descended from the belly of the ship on to the desert sands. He climbed aboard the platform which ascended him into the restored ship. He had grown accustomed to darkness that the broken ship had so the newly installed lights always surprised him. He placed a claw on the wall of the ship fondly. He could almost feel the power coursing through it again. He made his way to the engine room where all of the survivors were currently in, working tirelessly to finally finish the ship. There were dozens of Litts on scaffolding and other kinds of platforms, fixing multiple parts of the engine all at once. A blue litt witha metal arm (his arm was severed during the escape from Arcose) approached Kouda and placed an arm on Kouda's shoulder to greet him.
"Is this all we need?" Kouda inquired, he had far less knowledge on engineer than his smarter companions had.
"Yes. You arrived here just in time to see us start it" Zanfero the blue litt replied.
Kouda nodded and crossed his arms beneath his cloak as he waited eagerly to see an old friend walk again.
"Ignite when ready" a litt had spoken into a communicator.
The engine began humming as it cast an ominous glow from its innards. Multiple machines began whirring and he could begin to feel the ship moving.
Kouda grinned. Things were now in motion.
While his fellow litts were celebrating in the engine room, Kouda marched towards the cockpit of the ship. He placed a claw on the seat of one of the pilots.
"Lift the ship. We will soon be giving the Fox a test run" Kouda commanded. He walked towards a control panel on one of the walls and began typing in coordinates and a trajectory for the ship's path.
Kouda inputted for the Golden Fox to hover above the crash site. He sent out a message to his associates to come to the desert and board the hovering ship so that they could join Kouda on the ship's second maiden voyage. He also had prepared food (even a platter of flan) and drinks and for them in their meeting room.
It was time for them to all meet. They would come to see the fruition of a plan and start of another one.
Looming behind the ascending ship, a moon was rising above the desert.

Komoto waited outside the ship called the Golden Fox. Doctor Kouda had apparently the made the hunk of jink flyable once more. While Komoto didn't think much of his home, he did want to see how the baby handled in space, and if Doctor Kouda would let him fly him.
Komoto thoughts of flying were cut off however, as he received a message from Doctor Kouda claiming that there's finally going to be a group meeting. Komoto sent a message to Hitora, Donatsu, Tenshi, and a secret person that not even Doctor Kouda knew about, to arrive, and while he did so, wondered what beings that Pah'mazhan has supposedly recruited. Rumor has it that Pah'mazhan recruited another human and a cat, which made Komoto wonder why a cat was invited, but he wouldn't judge. Donatsu made one thing clear, don't judge a book by its power.
When Komoto finished his messaging, he waited outside of the ship for his three recruits to arrive. If Komoto had to guess, and he was a gambling man after all, Tenshi was meditating in the bamboo forest, Hitora was training to kill Komoto, and Donatsu was robbing a bank, so Komoto wondered how long it take them all to get here.

Abraxas flew into the desert, the sandy winds buffeting his face as he went. He was loath to use his "abilities" around people too often, as it usually led to more problems than he truly desired. Tonight, however, he made an exception. He'd spent a few days mulling over Pah'ma'zhan's words, and curiosity as to what secrets the strange man held, and the promise of purpose he made were too enticing. The dunes stretched for miles below him, with scattered desert plants dotting the landscape. At night the stars emerged, their twinkle returning in the absence of the bright city lights. It was a sight Abraxas rarely indulged in, as he spent most of his time in the big cities. His eyes scanned the horizon for any sign of activity, but there was nothing.
Perhaps he should turn back to the city; scouring the large desert by hand in the night looking for a stranger he'd only met once before in his life now seemed foolhardy. Not that Abraxas was against foolhardiness, but he doubted he'd find Pah'ma'zhan in the entire desert by himself. The Fortuneteller's desert...aptly named, considering his hobbies. Abraxas crested a large sand dune, and then saw it. A ship of some sort. Was that where Pah'ma'zhan wanted him to go? He gently cruised through the air towards the ship. Landing gently on the top of it, he gazed into the moon. The Moon was the arcana associated with the subconsious, fear, and anxiety. He felt fear. Not fear of what was going to happen, fear for the future.
Wondering what he was getting into, he knocked on the nearest hatch on the top of the ship. "Helloooooo..."

Donatsu had been nearby on what he thought was an undercover mission. It had turned out to be an awkward date instead. The re haired bachelor had rarely thought of anything to do with romance, so when the duchess of Genome (The city Donatsu was currently extorting) invited him to a dinner, he only saw it as a chance to swap info. Disastrous as the date was Donatsu had recovered and flown out of the city, using the excuse of the meeting he was called to by Kouda. Donatsu streaked through the sky towards the destination fast as he could, but he found matching his normal speed to be extremely difficult even at max power. Donatsu's weights slowed him and weighed him down drastically, so much so that a day ago he couldn't even hover from the weight that he had added.
He decided to just fly at the best speed he could as he wasn't to far from the site. after an hour he had arrived, scanning the scene as he flew passed a large sand dune. A magnificent ship stood before The Crimson Lion, it was the greatest ship he'd ever laid hie eyes upon. Then again the types of ships Donatsu was use to involved him being pursued by the law. He landed on the outer hull next to Komoto and a strange white haired being he hadn't met before. His shades told him of their power levels, and Donatsu was happy and dissapointed to see Komoto had not grown much stronger. He would have guessed that he had lessened in strength if it wasn't for his shades displaying he was also wearing weights. "So Komoto why have we been summoned here, this ship have something to do with it?" Donatsu asked the Majin but turned his gaze to the stranger. "What is your name pal, and why have come here? How rude of me allow me to introduce myself first. You may call me Donatsu, but the rest of the world knows me as The Crimson Lion!" DOnatsu's energy flared up and surrounded his body in a crimson aura, his shades reflecting this color and geaming. "People across the globe, hold tightly onto their possessions at the thought of the fiery warrior! No amount of wealth is safe! No vault can hold can stay closed!" As he finished he reached a hand out to shake the white haired mans.

[HEAVY WEIGHTS ON]
Hitora gently landed, the message had been sent twice once by Kouda the strange looking Doctor who patched him up not too long ago and Komoto, the Flan loving asshole who in essence forced him to join the Red Eclipse. So far it was paying off, Hitora had already gained the heavy weights which he had since gotten used to wearing and moving in to a degree, he was still slowed down by the armor but he could move a lot easier now.
He had landed a good few meters from the group and behind them all, slowly he walked up towards the strange group of people, his waist coat being blown by the desert winds, a gloved hand in front of his face covering it from the sand and the setting sun as he walked. Hitora slowly looked at those assembled, some he figured he could take easily even with his armor and some he figured would be a challenge for him for some time to come still.
Hitora then decided to speak “Yeah yeah yeah, calm down there lion boy, I’m Hitora the future ruler of this universe, and any others I discover. However for now, I am a simple member of this group, and Komoto….You know what I have to say to you…” Hitora then looked at the hovering space ship that had definitely seen better days in its existence. “So, what is that? And why exactly was my training halted? I have to become stronger.”

The young Arcosian warrior had found himself drawn to a vast desert of this strange but lush planet brimming with life. While he didn't care very much for the occupants, they had at least made for fun sport to keep him entertained as he tried to acclimate to his surroundings. His rather violent arrival onto Earth had left him in quite a bad way, and were it not for his species' trademark toughness and durability, he likely wouldn't have survived very long past his landing, nor had recovered from his grievous injuries as quickly as he had. With his arms folded curiously behind his back, he trekked across the sands, his three-toed feet leaving peculiar tracks across the wide expanse of desert terrain. While he certainly felt alone, he couldn't have been more wrong; his recent mean streak since his arrival netted him the unyielding attention of a pack of wanna-be heroes, and he had enjoyed toying with them by slipping past them and leading them on a chase for quite some time. He had a Scouter in fine condition, and tracking them was very simple what with the advanced heads-up display that gave him a nice readout of several recon parameters. He turned his head slightly as the device beeped quietly, allowing him to have a soft chuckle at the power readouts of his would-be hunters. The most intimidating of them sat at a meager five hundred, something even his suppressed form could crush like an ant. Curling his tail around his waist with clear amusement, he turned his head back as an incoming message from a mysterious messenger appeared in a notification on his eye-wear.
Flicking one of his fingers across the ''confirm'' button, he read the strange message with the single eye covered by the device before offering another amused smirk. It seemed in his short time on this planet he'd become quite popular after all; it was a strange request to meet at a specified set of coordinates, luckily an easy find what with his Scouter's various settings and data displays. Nodding slowly, he spun on one foot calmly and turned to face the encroaching vehicle packed to the brim with hunters. ''There he is! Run him down!'' ''I gotcha, I gotcha!'' With a laugh, the Arcosian stood his ground firmly, crossing his arms and uncurling his tail to playfully swing back and forth. As the vehicle neared, he let loose a quick ki blast into the sand beneath the vehicle, causing it to launch into the air and bail out most of the occupants. With the fine majority landing in a heap, he leaped at the one still airborne and slammed his fist into his gut, causing the victim's eyes to bulge in pain. Headbutting him in the nose, he finished his combination with a hard side kick that sent him crashing to the ground and into two of his squad-mates. Letting loose an Arctic Flash after a few moments, the three vanished in a crescendo of panicked, desperate shouting and searing light.
The final two had split up unintentionally. One, seemingly driven mad with fury, broke into a head-on charge at the clearly superior Arcosian. Not paying him much mind, he used a swift Afterimage to go after the other one, who was fleeing for his life. Appearing behind him, he gave his neck a sudden and vicious twist, feeling a hard snap before allowing the body to drop to the desert floor. Walking back in a calm pace at the survivor who had continued his pursuit, he took a punch to the face with hardly a flinch before gripping his wrist and breaking it, kneeing him in the stomach and causing him to roll onto his back. Placing a foot on his chest to hold him still, he folded his arms and stared down at him. ''Earthlings. You bunch are so strange; though I will admit, it offered me some entertainment leading you on your wild goose chase. In any case, I have more important things to attend to. I'll ensure your kind doesn't bother me for a while.'' Lifting his foot high, the human beneath it turned onto his belly to crawl away and exposed his back; Pola capitalized on the situation and sent a stomp soaring down into his back, feeling bone give way beneath the force.
And then there were none.
Floating up off the ground slightly, the Arcosian's icy blue aura lightly cloaked him as he set a course for the designated coordinates of this strange and mysterious request. Blasting off into flight, he wasn't sure what to expect; if this were some sort of ambush, he did have his transformation to rely on if he really needed it. So far, he had his doubts. Before much time passed he had arrived, and before touching down noted a peculiar gathering of individuals near what appeared to be a ship in the midst of repairs. Now this was interesting; someone who possibly shared the sentiment of leaving this planet at some point. Finding himself interested, he wandered into the pack at a steady pace and sized up the different individuals present, his Scouter passively and silently scanning each one. It seemed this pack of vagrants showed some promise; the most he'd seen of this planet were just mounds of trash calling themselves warriors. While the readouts he had been receiving were nothing to write home about, he also noted the most notable ones of the group were all wearing what appeared to be heavy training gear. He'd heard such equipment reduced the effective battle strength of the wearer in exchange for making their training much more worthwhile and intense.
''Interesting; and just what, exactly, has some mystery transmission led me to in the middle of this barren waste?''

[Heavy Weights ON. Power level of 3,579. Suppressed Power level of 894.75 ]
~Awaken~Pah'mazhan stirred. Eyes fluttering open in his tube, the bio-android quickly regained his senses as the most recent memories he absorbed flew back to him in a rush. His meeting with Abraxos and Meril seemingly slammed back into his brain, making his brain respond accordingly. Grinning, Pah'mazhan began pushing the necessary buttons on the inside of his stasis pod, releasing the goo on the inside and opening the glass container. Doctor Kouda had informed him that today was to be the day that the bio-android was to meet the rest of the new recruits of the Red Eclipse. That was good, as this would be the day that the new people who wished to join were thinned out. Some of the new Messengers, for example, joined the organization out of fear rather than respect. As such, they were timid upon meeting the Motley Crew of assassins, and terrified when their initiation began...
Stepping out of his tube, Pah'mazhan began by grabbing his newest addition to his arsenal: a new pair of weights, crimson gauntlets that weighed down his arms and faux-shackles that clasped around his legs, down by his boots. His ally Doctor Kouda had endlessly praised the power that these weights held, as the more the bio-android would train, the resistance that the weights gave would amplify the results of his training. Locking the last shackle into place, Pah'mazhan ended his routine by magnetically locking the weights, keeping the control on his wrist holo-controller. This new armor made the bio-android considerably slower, and should today turn... violent, he was positive that they would need to be removed and fast. Being magnetically locked onto his person, Pah'mazhan would be able to demagnetize and release the weights almost at will. With his sword always at his side, the red-clad bio-android was ready. Golden hair flying behind him in a stream of luster, Pah'mazhan left his room and turned down the hallway.
It was night, this much was for certain. He could see the moon's ascent through the sky. Interesting name for the group, The Red Eclipse. Pah'mazhan was Kouda's right hand man, yet he was still uncertain why the name was chosen. The inky black of night was a stark contrast to the full moon that was rising in the distance. The turbulence of the ship was smooth, and the bio-android was proud of it. He was one of the foremost contributors to the ship, searching far and wide for new ship repair parts with which the litt and ee's could fix the ship. The lizard-folk were very fastidious, and known throughout the galaxy (according to Kouda) for their scientific achievement and prowess. This was the ship's first time being in the air since their initial crash landing, and the ship was handling well, even better than before, in fact. Kouda's a genius.
Heading down the long, black hallway, Pah'mazhan stopped at one of the rooms, previously unoccupied. Opening up the door slowly, he was greeted by a barren, austere room, not yet decorated. There was a small, but very comfortable bed on the left wall with a footlocker at the end. But these were merely descriptors for the most interesting thing in that room, Meril the human. Pah'mazhan had recruited the feline very recently, after a very close fight. In reality, she was very close to killing the bio-android, but he would never admit that to her or else she'd never let him hear the end of it. Meril was different than most, a real ambitious individual. After their fight, Pah'mazhan introduced her to doctor Kouda, but their interaction was limited, at best. She was mentally and physically exhausted after their encounter. Pah'mazhan showed Meril to her room and she fell on the bed immediately unconscious. She's a fighter, but it's time for her to meet her new friends. Rapping on the side of the door lightly, he said, "It's time to awaken, Meril. Today you are to meet your new allies. Meet us in the conference room when you're ready. Last door on the left." Knowing that her senses wouldn't let her get caught off guard, even while sleeping, Pah'mazhan left the room and decided to join Kouda in the meeting room. Walking down the hallway and hanging a left, he entered a large, circular room with a table in the middle.
Seeing Kouda, Pah'mazhan stood at his place at the doctor's side and reached for one of the snacks that Kouda had prepared for the group. Being of reptilian nature, Pah'mazhan wasn't surprised that Kouda had prepared mostly insectoid dishes, with the rare dish composed of fish. The bio-android's tastes were varied, being composed of the DNA of three different races. Turning to face his good friend, Pah'mazhan said, "Where do you think they are?"

Pah'mazhan's voice penetrated Meril's ears and, with a quick intake of breath, she rose from her slumber. Meril went through her usual routine of laying on the bed for a few more minutes, stirring occasionally so as to make sure that she didn't fall back asleep. She laid on her back and streched, Ugh. I feel tight... Oh yeah, I still have my clothes on. Meril jumped out of bed and took her clothes off. She suddenly realized that she wasn't high up in a tree or in an alleyway. Meril looked behind her at the bed that she had woken up in, wow... I can get used to this! Now smiling, Meril jumped back in bed to stretch. "Mmmm... finally. Some well deserved rest," she said to herself. Meril turned around and got on all fours, stretching again, her tail whipping the air behind her and paws stretched, unveiling her claws. She gently clawed at the fabric that encased her new bed. "Damn, that sure feels good," she whispered. She looked down at her nails, they were dirty and dull. I should get a scratching post... yeah, I need a scratching post. Meril jumped back out of bed and raised one her arms, the smell of trash and sweat filled her nostrils, almost making her gag. "And a bath! I need a bath!" Meril looked around her new room and to the right side of the room was a door.
Meril opened the door to reveal a pristine white bathroom, complete with a sink, bathtub, toilet, and a contraption that she'd never seen before. She looked at the object, it resembled a toilet but with no tank and what looked like part of a sink replacing the tank. There were knobs by the sink part of the contraption and Meril, looking over the strange object, turned one of the knobs and was surprised by a jet of water coming out of the bowl. She immediately turned the knob back and stumbled away from the foreign object. Meril then decided it must be an object used by the aliens that are seeming to welcome her with open arms. From what little Pah'mazhan has told her about Kouda and his race, they were called the Ee's? As she drew her bath filled with hot water, the steam rising from the rapidly filling tub surrounded Meril, clinging onto her fur, begging her to enter the bath. Meril, being as small as she was, used her bukujutsu abilities to lift herself and gently ease her body into the water. Meril began to wash her fur and decided to lay in the water for a bit longer. This was the first time in a long while that Meril had been able to truly relax, and she was very intent on making this moment last and she soon fell asleep in the tub, floating in the water, her fur gently swaying in the water.
Meril was a cat, but she also a human, so the concept of taking a bath wasn't foreign to her. Meril and her family always liked taking a quick cleaning, especially after a long day at work. Even when Meril was a kitten she always liked it when her mother took her and sat with her and cleaned her from head to toe. Meril would've licked herself clean, but it had been awhile since her last bath. Who knows what she had been rolling around in the past few months.
While Meril was slumbering in her bathtub one of Doctor Kouda's assistants came into the bathroom and left some apparel for Meril, taking her old rags away. Meril sensed the stranger in the room and rose out the tub to see that it was gone and Meril was left with new clothes. She landed on the ground, shook herself dry, and walked over to her new clothes. A small red shirt with sheer sleeves leading down to heavy brass bracelets was laid out on the bed. Confused but flattered all the same, Meril walked over to the bed and began to put on the new clothing. They seemed to fit alright, but something was weird about them. There was a logo that she didn't recognize on the back. Her trousers were black and bulky and they were also adorned with heavy brass bracelets on the bottom. The material was soft as silk but it breathed so as to not suffocate Meril. "Wow, weighted clothes! Finally fighting's gonna be a workout again," she exclaimed. Meril's excitement grew. What was waiting for her now? There was only one way to find out.
Meril made her way down the hallway, stumbling every few steps as she tried to get used to her new outfit. Pah'mazhan was on her mind. Why would he invite me here? What's my purpose? Who is he really, she thought. Meril was now definitely sure that the armored man that she had met not long ago wasn't a real man. He was too powerful... I trained more than anybody, there's no way that any human could best me, her thoughts raced. Meril was very confident and convinced that Pah'mazhan was something more, but she was also confused, she had met Doctor Kouda, but everything was still very unclear to her. She was on her way to the answers and frankly she was anxious. She made it to the end of the corridor and opened the door to the meeting and the only thing took over senses and her mind was the overwhelming smell of flan.

Kouda nodded his head to acknowledge Pah'mazhan's entrance into the room.
He answered Pah'mazhan's question by touching a button on the table that brought up a floating, holographic video screen that showed a live feed of what was occurring on the hull of the ship. In view was a crowd of strange beings. Kouda's eyes darted across each of their faces as he thought about the information his spies had accumulated on their individual dossiers.
"Open Gate 6. Have the Messengers show our guests towards the meeting room," Kouda spoke into a communicator to one of the control rooms in the ship."
A hidden panel on the hull (near the crowd) would slide open, revealing an entrance into the ship. Kouda would have several Messengers lined against the hallways leading to the meeting room in order to lead the group towards the meeting room. As they would walk by, the Messengers would bow their heads and the panel behind would close when everyone was inside the ship.
The door of the meeting room immediately slid opened and standing at the threshold was nobody. Confused, Kouda waited and tried to make sense of the situation until he heard the clacking of paws on the floor. Kouda stepped around the table and saw that a small female zooanthrope had stepped into the room.
"Ah, Meril, I presume" Kouda said, watching the monstrous zooanthrope crawl in the punishing training weights his Litts had designed for his associates. He had never been in the same room as the esteemed underground fighting queen but he had done his research on her brutal 'accolades'. And she certainly fit the intimidating description.
The heavy weights that Kouda had on himself were similar to Pah'mazhan's design. He was wearing steel clawed gauntlets and grieves that weighed his limbs down. In addition to them, Kouda had weighted plating on his tail for more resistance. He could hardly stand but he needed to get stronger. Especially now that the next phase in their operations was about to begin.

Hitora watched as the ramp to the ship slowly lowered down, ignoring the others Hitora pushed past them and ascended the ramp slowly. His waist cape flowing gently in the wind that was now dying down, as he entered he noticed the strangely dressed men and women lining the walls, blocking off entry to most areas of the ship. Hitora didn’t really care for what they were doing here, they seemed to be creating a path designed to lead those assembled here today towards a specific location. Hitora shrugged slightly and decided that he would follow the path they created with their bodies. A small smirk would be seen on his face as he did so, this felt quite regal to him, reminding him somewhat of when he was on Kirito and the peasants would line the entry way to the his imperial throne, greeting him if only because they had feared for their lives at that time. Here however, Hitora wasn’t feared, at least as far as he could tell, no one shook terrified that the slightest wrong move would mean their death, almost as if they were trained and ready for such a fate if so desired.
Hitora slowly entered the room, inside of it already apparently were Kouda, the strange alien being known as a Litt who had healed him to full health after his first meeting with the Man of Flan Komoto, and two other strange beings that Hitora had never seen before. Hitora sat down in a chair opposite of Kouda and waited for the others to filter in, he also wondered still what this meeting was for. “So, is there going to be any food here Kouda or should we just wait here hungry as some beggars on the street while you talk?” Hitora hadn’t eaten in a bit, and like most Saiyans got hungry quite easily.

Komoto stared at the numerous polas that appeared in front of the ship. The first being a white haired human dressed in red and black, most likely recruited by Pah'mazhan. The only opinion Komoto had about him was that he knew how to dress really well.
Komoto then noticed Donatsu, the very first person that Komoto ever recruited, and an old bank heist buddy. He always had a strange obbsession with red, and weird taste, but he was both trustworthy and loyal, So komoto liked this human above all others.
Then came Hitora, an annoying Saiyan that he had to teach some manners to more time then Komoto could count. While his loyalty was questionable, he had pride, which always made him keep fighting, and komoto respected that.
The last person that came was an Arcosian, someone the messengers found the other day. Not much was known about him, except for how to contact his scouter thanks to the messengers, but Komoto felt like he would be a great addition to the family, and if he betrayed the family, well.... Punishment would be swift and merciless.
"Welcome Arcosian, I wanted to be the first to invite you to the Boss's family. You'd be one of us, a Red Eclipse member, and be treated equally, with the family helping you with your goals, as you help us with ours. Btw, pleasure to see you after so long Crimson Lion, rob any good banks lately, and hello white hair human, the Name's Komoto the Flan God, what are each of your names?", Komoto said as he shook his hand out for pola to shake, then looking at everyone, except hitora who walked away before komoto could care, at once.
Whether or not Everyone talks or not, or if pola shakes their hand, komoto would start heading towards the ship, and once he reached the meeting room, he would lay at the farthes corner of the wall from Komoto, eating flan as the meeting commenced

As Pola poked around the outskirts of the ship, it began to rise into the sky. Was this some sort of test run? As sand billowed out from beneath the marvel of technology, the Arcosian brought a hand up to shield his face from the biting particles sent whipping about in its wake. Tapping a few buttons on his Scouter, he scanned around the outskirts of the ship; it seemed everyone who may have been outside just prior had boarded the large vessel, as indicated by a quick flick-through of the same energy signatures he had gotten a read on not long ago. It wasn't until he was about ready to attempt to board on his own that he spotted one lone figure, a strange one who appeared to be wearing a mask and dressed rather sharply for the occasion. He was met with a very polite greeting; a surprising thing, considering the Arcosian's first few days on this planet. ''My, what manners. This...''Red Eclipse'' of yours certainly knows how to roll out a red carpet. I assume the strange message on my Scouter was your group's doing? Impressive, to say the least. I've only been on this planet for a very short span of time; a few days, i'd figure at most. Being able to track me so shortly after my arrival is nothing to scoff at and dismiss. You may call me Pola. It seems you've got quite a crew holed up in that vessel of yours.'' He reached out (or rather, up) to shake Komoto's hand firmly. His Suppressed Form was sometimes a bother in everyday situations, but it was likely for the best to remain this way until the right situation called for otherwise.
Floating up off the ground and awaiting his cordial invitation, he found it with the opening of a sliding door to board through. Boarding the ship as it floated about in the sky, his three-toed feet clanked against the metallic floors and he found himself pleasantly surprised. A hallway lined with strange hooded figures, all bowing in respect as he passed through the center of their ranks; it was clear they were leading him somewhere, and the respect they had shown for a new arrival was nothing to scoff at. If anything, it showed that whoever these strangers were, they knew precisely how to command respect. With his confidence in this strange group he'd yet to formally meet climbing by the second, he folded his arms behind his back and followed along the pathway until he came upon what appeared to be a meeting room. He now found himself presented with the crew of the vessel, and his Scouter confirmed their signatures to match the ones he'd stumbled upon earlier. He watched as Komoto made his way to a far corner of the room, and Pola stepped calmly to an empty seat in the room, admiring the food and drink prepared for the occasion. Folding his arms and pinching his chin between his thumb and index finger as he perused the palette, he sank back in comfort in the seat and grasped a dish of flan a glass of wine. What a curious dish! Poking at the plate, he blinked, slightly amused as the food jiggled about before grabbing a utensil and inspecting the surface of it by touch.
He'd never seen or had anything quite like it before, and eventually he grew impatient to see how it would taste. Lifting a mouthful with a spoon, his eyes widened pleasantly and he remembered the being Komoto noting themselves as ''The Flan God''. This obviously must have meant he had plenty of this stuff stashed away somewhere. While he wanted to enjoy the good food and devour it now (he hadn't had anything to eat outside of scraps over the past few days, as his pod rations had dwindled to nothing) he let his proper etiquette win over and he slowly enjoyed the strange dessert. He shot an approving look and nod to Komoto, pointing at the dish with his spoon with a grin. Continuing to eat and taking a drink of wine, he watched as everyone settled themselves in comfortably. He awaited the meeting's official start as he continued to pick away at the large portion of this delicious ''flan'', and noted that he would have to ask Komoto about any other Earthling treats he could get his hands on.

The hatch hissed, and it opened, and a small light next to it changed from red to green. Two very powerful individual on the ground seemed to be having a conversation, and they entered the ship from another hatch. Abraxas closed his eyes, and sensed the presence of the man who'd confronted him at the casino, and resolutely descended the ladder. The hatch closed and locked behind him, and the cool climate controlled air of the ship soothed his skin after the hot, sandy air of the desert. His boots clicked on the metal of the ship's floor, and he began to walk. Voices carried, and from inside them he picked out Pah'ma'zhan, or so he thought. With no thought on how to navigate the ship, he simply trusted what he always did: his gambler's luck.
Abraxas followed a series of hallways, the weights he was wearing impeding his progress. They'd arrived at his apartment, with a note saying to hurry to the desert, earlier this week. A gift from Pah'ma'zhan? He'd worn them and found that as he got used to them, he got more powerful. He wondered what a group of such well equipped individuals could use from a washed-up criminal like him. As he progressed through the ship, a sweet smell came to his nose...the smell of flan. A dessert he hadn't had since he lived with his mother, many years ago. Smiling, he followed the scent to a room, no longer following the voices, but inevitably he found himself there, surrounded by a motley crew of powerful individuals.
Abraxas locked eyes with Pah'ma'zhan, and scanned the room, looking at everyone else. "Well, I have been invited here by the grace of Pah'ma'zhan. He leads me to believe I could be of worth to you in your business ventures." A formal introduction. He felt uneasy, anxious of the future, as he always was, but something felt...right. He hadn't felt this since the last time he'd done a solid job, with the Black Rocks, before the authorities cracked down and sent them scattering. There was something so...fulfilling about the gang life. Whether these individuals were seeking to start a criminal gang or not, they must need his services for something, so at least he was back at work. "I thank you for your offer. My name is Abraxas."

As the various fighters entered the room, Pah'mazhan eyed them intently. Standing next to his friend Kouda, the bio android bowed as the last of them finally walked inside. Bowing low, he began to speak. "Welcome, everybody. I assume this is all of the recruits, Kouda?" Motioning toward Meril, Abraxas, and Meril, Pah'mazhan spoke, "a few of you I know, and have personally invited. For those who don't know me, my name is Pah'mazhan, and I'm the creation and bodyguard of the good doctor. From now on, we will all be working very closely together as a tight knit society." Looking directly into the eyes of Abraxas and Meril, he continued. "Some of you may come from upstart gangs or minor organizations, but I assure you that the Red Eclipse is neither." Walking toward the table that they were gathered around, Pah'mazhan pressed a few buttons on his wrist computer, and after a brief moment, a hologram came into view, floating above the table proper. The hologram was of a symbol, one that a few people would recognize. "This is our mark. You will wear it proudly and with honor. We are a brotherhood." Taking a few steps backward, the bio android rejoined Kouda. "You have been assembled because we have deemed you worthy. You will be rewarded with treasure, power, and whatever it is you desire. We work together and thrive together. Any questions?"

Meril had been resting on a chair, almost asleep when Abraxas entered the room. She observed him closely and watched his movements as she does with new people. Tall, slender, well dressed… hmm… His hands are especially skinny and rugged around his finger, like Ponyi and Ponya! This guy likes to play cards! Alright! I already like this guy.
Meril’s old first lieutenants came to mind, Ponyi and Ponya. They were young twins, no more than in their late teens when Meril left. Ponyi was rough and muscular boy that cheated more than he lifted weights, which he did religiously every night, while Ponya was a petite and gentle girl that played by the rules of the game but had the luck of a leprechaun and couldn’t stand to lose. Both individuals were one half of a whole personality and one was never seen without the other. The charismatic duo did most of the recruiting in the small-time gang and the way that they did it was through a few games of dice and cards. They weeded out some of the weaklings through their skills and sheer luck and new recruits would continue to play with them until Meril began to see signs showing her what happened to those who became addicted to the games. Their eyes shifted from person to person, as paranoia took over their psyche, they were restless and couldn’t sit still, and their hands eventually became rugged and tattered from so many games of dice and cards. Meril would have to kick some of the weaker ones out and help others not get too addicted. Ponyi and Ponya were great recruiters but they sometimes did more harm than help. Meril’s nostalgia trip stopped when she thought about where they were now. They’re probably dead… Good kids. Too bad they died so soon.
Meril’s concentration broke as Abraxas introduced himself formally almost making Meril choke on the piece of flan she had in her mouth. I need to get to know this guy, there’s no way the stick is that far up his ass. “Nice to meet you, kid. The name’s Meril O. I‘ll be honest with you. I like you, we should hang out sometime,” Meril said as she served herself another piece of flan and took a forkful. The creamy custard tasted of caramel and practically dissolved in her mouth. Meril gently pulled on one of her whiskers cleaning off some syrup from the flan onto her finger, which she proceeded to put in her mouth savoring the sweet and sugary taste of the dark syrup.
“Now THIS is what I call flan! I’m humbled by the presence of your cuisine, Mr. ... uh Komoto was it,” Meril asked, shifting her attention from Abraxas to Komoto, “By the way, where are you from? I haven’t very many Majins. Where do you come from and why do you hide yourself behind a mask? And how do you know how to make such kick ass flan? And while I’m ranting, who the hell knows what that weird porcelain thing in my bath…”
Before she could finish Pah’mazhan began speaking, welcoming everyone to the ship and the organization, using Meril and Abraxas for some examples. Meril understood everything. She was optimistic for the future and she couldn’t wait to see what was ahead for her. Meril looked around at what was supposed to be her new family. An arcosian as cool and reserved as a cucumber, a human that brought back long lost memories and feelings of the past, a majin that she was sure going to be the death of her if she continued an all flan diet, a saiyan who she would come to know soon, the good doctor that brought everyone together, and his pet, the bio-android that had introduced her to her new life. Things were starting to look up for Meril.
Meril looked down at her flan took another forkful and said, “Nah chief, no questions here. I think we all understand what’s going on, what we need to discuss is what happens next.”
