A laugh carried across the arena as the Majin slowly began to shake her head.
”Little progress in me? I AM progress. In my realm I am the only creature of significance and my strength eclipses the strongest warriors of any other Universe. Control is insignificant when you possess enough power.”
To match the Saiyan, Shemha began to draw on her own reserves. Red wisps of energy stretched out from her form, each alive with the excess Ki that bled off of her. This woman, this former Queen wished to challenge her power? It was not something she hadn’t experience before and like in the past, the outcome would be the same.

Lips curled back into a grin, energy danced along her frame. Hunger held in check, Shemha longed for the day she was granted access to a new hunting ground. Living in a Universe full of weaklings had begun to bore her.

Zucceta rolled her eyes. "The only knowledge you seek is to satisfy your craving. You don't know beauty. One day, you might."
The fingers on both her hands unfurled, and two golden orbs of light appeared in her hands. "And, before you know it, someone in your own universe will rise up to match you. That is always the way of things. Vacuums beget new players who strut their stuff upon the stage of history. I'm sure the thought both excites and unnerves you."
She pulls both of her arms to her side, lighting pulsing about her frame. "I'll see you later. WARHEAD!" She shouted, bringing organic and construct arms together, golden orbs fusing and synthesising into a huge, golden wave of energy intent on knocking this Super Shemha out of bounds.

Cloaked in power, Shemha’s grin persisted. The Majin had no intention of waiting around until some warrior rose to challenge her in her own universe. Hunger constant, the long game was not present in her mind. She focused on what she wanted short term and little else. The main reason she chose to enter this tournament was not for the spirit of combat and competition, but to see for herself that realms beyond her home plane existed. With that knowledge in hand it would only be a matter of time before she found access to them and when she did….
”You’re wrong, Zucceta!” Shemha shouted above the energy wave that roared towards her. ”You won’t be around to see me when I find my way into your world!”
Instead of releasing her energy to counter that of the Saiyan’s, she let it all gather at the end of the tentacle that hung from her head. Lifted above her like a scorpion’s tail, the tip pointed directly at Zucceta and from it she released a multicolored beam of magical light. Fired high enough to bypass the incoming attack completely, Shemha allowed the wave of energy to crash into her. Heat and pain overtook her durable body and as she was thrown backwards, on a clear path to land outside of the ring, she doubted the warrior across from her was able to avoid her counter strike. A counter strike that wouldn’t knock Zucceta off the platform, but would turn her into a delicious treat, chocolaty nub and all.
Candy Beam fired at 300%!

The Warhead crashed into Shemha. The saiyajin warrior had expected the Majin to meet her own blast, to try and minimise the damage. Perhaps the bubble-gum amalgam had decided such recourse was futile--and perhaps it would have been. Instead, as she was being blown away, a thin beam of magical energy emanated from her head tentacle and blasted Zucceta directly in the forehead.
Surprise, not pain, came over her face--then, an instant later, in the snap of a finger, the tall saiyan warrior was gone, replaced by a small, one-armed chocolate figurine standing on the katchin ring.
"Really?" She squeaked. "I mean, I thought I was tasty enough before..."
Still, it seemed like she had won. |

Shemha smacked into the wall that lined the battleground, spectators seated high above her. Unable to stop herself quickly enough, the Majin felt a second impact as she hit the ground. Officially out, a small groan escaped her smoking form. Regardless of their different viewpoints and the inevitable fate that would befall Zucceta, she sure packed a punch. Body beginning to regenerate from the powerful blast, bringing her back from the edge of consciousness, the Majin staggered to her feet.
In the ring stood a much smaller and tastier Zucceta, one that any chocolate lover might find delicious. With a snort, Shemha turned to head towards the exit. Deep within her she wished to rush back in to devour the candy Saiyan, but considering how her power had been limited these tournament overlords were beyond her current reach and she didn’t wish to risk it…not yet. In silence her teeth ground together, one last look at her opponent and she was gone. Today Zucceta would get to enjoy her victory, but soon enough her and all her friends would suffer the same end.

Ornee blinked awkwardly. The time patroller who'd been commentating the matches had never come back from his bathroom break, leaving the Vargas all alone at the desk.
He squawked nervously as the timer clanged, noting the end of the match. Uncertainty in his talons, he clicked a button, and moved up to the microphone.
"Ahem-- The winner is... Uh... Zucceta!"
