Everything was quiet… Everything was calm…
It was the first time Pracross had felt that for what seemed like an eternity.
The Saiyan was sitting in the middle of the ship in a meditation style, eyes closed as the weight of the chamber settled in. It was twenty of that from Earth’s and the readjustment from Vegeta gave him a slight bit of a boost from giving in to the force. The sound of the pod filled the void with some sound that comforted the boy as it hummed through the skyline. It seemed everything was going well today… The raid on Vegeta had ended with less casualties than expected, Konats was just a bust, and now he was learning how to feel the presence of others around him. Ki sensing, a trick he had always talked about but could never figure out.
Pracross took a slow breath and swallowed down some doubt. His mind was focused on Gira, trying to find her within the ship. Another deep breath entered the boy’s mouth as he slowly opened up his eyes and pointed in the direction he thought Gira was in. This was the exercise they had been practicing to get him used to sensing ki, but he felt like he was starting to get the gist of it. Soon enough, he might just be pin point!
The Saiyan closed his eyes again to let Gira move, focusing on the hum once more to tune out all other sounds. It felt so strange, being covered in pulsating waves of just… still calm. Could there be anything more pleasant than this? The boy outstretched his arms, feeling the weights on his wrists crushing him down slowly, but he was attempting hard to ignore it. The Saiyan was in his training clothes, which was a black tank top and black sweat pants, so it was easier to move around than with the jacket and cargo pants. The only excess weight he carried was the homemade sheathe he carried on his back for his weapon comrade, Tempest, who had fallen into one of his famous naps while in sword form.
Pracross pointed again, starting to truly identify Gira’s ki as he aimed to where she thought she was, hoping that he truly was achieving. If he could learn this, he would be way ahead of anyone else in the star school! Er… Almost. Collan and Jican were probably still ahead of him, but just by a bit at this point, right? Or was he still far behind? Maybe he was the weakest among the Star School? Either way, that only proved that he needed to get stronger in order to beat them.

Thread PL: 157 133 Gira closed the refrigerator door in the kitchen, humming quietly to herself as she opened an ice-cold can of HETAP and taking a big swig. "Ahhh, much better." The girl was dressed in her casual clothes; a black t-shirt that came up to just above her navel and flannel pajamas. She was barefoot, intent on making herself as comfortable as possible. She had been in the habit of wearing her weights almost all the time, but they were getting lighter and lighter every day. Soon, Gira figured that it would no longer provide her any benefit. As it was, they gave her almost no benefit. They still had a noticeable weight, but even that would soon be overcome. Gira amazed herself. She thought back to how those weights felt the first time she put them on and giggled. She could hardly move for the first day. Thinking back to the events on Konats, she was thankful she didn't have to put her new power to use. She had finished her conversation with Jax some time ago. Well, it was more like her admonishing him for attempting to conquer a planet. He could have died or gotten seriously hurt. Not to mention the others who were put in a bad position because of his actions. It was over now, though. She left the man on Konats and went off on her own with Pracross. They were barreling through space on the way to Earth, currently. The hybrid was eager to get home. She had been gone for what felt like ages. It was a lot less stressful, though since her mom knew what she was up to and she didn't have to lie. Gira looked up at the ceiling, towards the gravity chamber. She felt the familiar energy of Pracross in there. He was certainly working hard. Maybe she should join him. The teen smiled and took another gulp of her drink, beginning to walk casually to the elevator. The doors opened for her automatically and she stepped inside. "Training room, SAM." She ordered to her AI. The display on the elevator lit up with the command and the teen soon felt herself being lifted the brief distance to the training room. "Third Floor. Training Room. Have a productive workout, Miss Gira." SAM said in his usual formal tone. Gira grinned. "Thanks SAM. Will do." The elevator doors opened up into the training room after that. The hybrid stepped inside, noticing Pracross sitting in the center of the floor. The gravity was on. Gira could tell based on the weight that pressed her down. The display on the device in the center of the room read "x20." Gira had trained under that before, so it didn't weigh her down very much. Hardly at all. She stepped across the white tiles, sitting herself down on the floor across from Pracross about ten feet away. She watched him for awhile, wondering if he even knew she was there. Eventually, she made her presence known if it wasn't known already. "Yo. Working hard or hardly working?" She grinned at the Saiyan. "Y'know, if you're looking to train, maybe I can help?" The half-Saiyan honestly wanted to train herself, too. She hadn't gotten a good training session in since her and Wyntre trained what seemed like ages ago. Pracross Yendatta

Pracross was too in depth in focus to hear the elevator come up, as he only recognized it to the rest of the ship. Even the voices that chartered in the background seemed non-existent. He didn't realize how unfocused he was until he aimed his finger straight in front of him at Gira, which when he moves it back, his eyes fluttered open, eyes wide. “Oh, sorry, I was just practicing those ki sense things you told me about earlier… Is Ki this strong around everyone? Or does it vary?”
The Saiyan felt a little stupid. In all of his time reading history books and learning under the Saiyan academy, he never learned how detecting ki even worked. The boy laid on his arm and stared at the wall behind Gira, trying to comprehend the thoughts in his head while managing the stars in his eyes. “No, that's dumb, I'm dumb! I spent so much time learning to suppress my ki to learn to hide from it so why would it NOT be different?!” Pracross rubbed his cheeks rather violently as an act of thought, which probably looked insane, but he didn't care.
When Gira asked if he’d like to train, his eyes shot immediately to hers. “Training?! Gira, you know by all hell that I'd be down for that!” Pracross slouched back and layed on his arms, rearing his legs up for a swoop kick. Upon the kick, he sent himself up into the air before landing gracefully on his feet. “Maybe after, we could get a beer? I've been dying for something with a kick…” Pracross only hoped that Gira knew that Saiyan’s did not care for alcohol restrictions like the humans did, otherwise he might just have to sneak one out before leaving.
Either way, the Saiyan was excited. Pracross popped his knuckles and smiled to the lady in front of him. “I've been dying to try out some of that new strength you've kept inside you! Heard you reached super saiyan levels! Man, that must be so cool!” Pracross’ eyes filled with stars as he stood with his legs together, fists to his side's. It was obvious he was excited to test out Gira’s power, as well as his own.

Gira turned her head slightly as Pracross pointed at her. "Uh..." before she could ask what he was doing, the Saiyan's eyes opened and he apologized, stating that he was practicing sensing ki. The hybrid grinned at his mention of that. "Sweet. It's a useful ability. Basic, but very useful. Position though..." She lept to her feet. "...Is only part of it. With focus, not only can you tell where your target is, but whether they are familiar, how strong they are, and even if they are moving to attack." When Gira began training, sensing ki was one of the first things she taught herself. It had proven to be a very useful ability to have in her arsenal. At his question, Gira smiled. "Everyone's ki is different. No two signatures feel the same... unless someone is using Multiform or something like that. Even two people of equal strength have ki signatures that feel different. That's how you can identify a person with ki sensing, 'cuz they have their own unique feeling."
Then Pracross started to beat on himself for his question. "No. You aren't dumb. Asking questions is a good thing. It's all a part of learning." After rubbing his cheeks, the Saiyan responded to the question Gira asked initially. He seemed pretty excited to get to training, especially since Gira had become a Super Saiyan since the last time they sparred. True, Gira's strength was leagues above what it was when they last met in battle, but she was a little apprehensive about showing it to him. Gira frowned slightly as she thought about this. Pracross wasn't even close to her maximum power in the hybrid's base form. As a Super Saiyan, she could kill him effortlessly... and that was what concerned her. She didn't want to seriously hurt-- or god forbid, kill-- Pracross by accident. She would feel terrible if she did something like that. Still, Gira thought back to the first time she sensed the power of someone that strong.
It was when she first met her friend, Tulip. Feeling that power spurred her into a training frenzy to achieve that strength for herself... and in an admittedly brief amount of time, she did it. Maybe just feeling a Super Saiyan would do the same for Pracross? There was also the fact that Gira wanted to practice mastering the form, and trying to rein in that wild energy to a more manageable level would really help in that regard. Still, she didn't want to kill her friend for that. Or potentially hurt him terribly. With a nod, she answered her Saiyan friend's question. "Yeah, it's pretty cool. Suddenly going from your current strength to more than ten times stronger is an amazing feeling. Having your battle instincts being pushed to their peak... being able to hear the beating wings of an insect from hundreds of feet away... it's great. The anger, though, that isn't nearly as fun. You are very easily... rattled when transformed. That's why I don't transform lightly."
Gira paused for a moment, then a grin crossed the teen's face after that. "Tell ya what, if you can land a punch on me while you are blindfolded, i'll show you my Super Saiyan form." She crossed her arms. "I'll even blindfold myself and lower my power to make it more even. I'll warn you, though, if you aren't able to sense my ki effectively, you won't be able to do it." Gira watched as the Saiyan lept to his feet with a kick, asking if they could have a beer afterwards. The teen chuckled slightly and walked over to the far wall of the chamber, pressing in on the wall. A small compartment popped out. In seconds, the hybrid procured two black strips of cloth. After that, she pressed down on another section of wall, opening up a mini-fridge in the wall. She pulled out a can and tossed it from hand to hand, closing the fridge and the other compartment. Gira walked up to Pracross, a can in one hand and two strips of cloth in the other, and showed him the can she had obtained.
"Here's your beer. Normally, i'd say you're too young... but I got an idea." She tossed the can into the air and leaned forward, allowing it to land perfectly on her head. "If you can take this beer from me blindfolded, it's yours... AND i'll show you what fighting a Super Saiyan is like. Sound good?" She offered the young Saiyan one of the strips in her hand. Even though Pracross had not yet accepted her challenge, Gira began to lower her energy to a more fair level. If he took the blindfold, Gira would tie her own around her head, completely blocking her vision. However, she was far from blind.

At the question, Gira answered kindly, making him feel a lot better about the ideas of it. Pracross nodded with a smile to the whole thing, which made him feel better, though he still went to the angry state of asking a stupid question. Even then, though, Gira did not falter in making the boy feel better. When she stood, the Saiyan’s eyes seemed to shine. How did he get so lucky to get such a great friend?
When the Saiyan banter on and on about the super saiyan capabilities, Gira seemed unsure. She talked about the positives, the power, the heightened senses… and then the negatives, the pure, unadulterated rage that comes with it. Going into a form would certainly cause destruction, especially the first time through since one can only reach such a point through rage or sorrow. What kind of actions could bring you to such an emotion?
He didn't think about such a thing for long as the ideas of training flew over his mind. When the boy jumped up, the Hybrid came up with an idea to fuel the boy’s will to train. She said if he could hit her while blindfolded, then he would get a sweet look at the super saiyan form. Pracoss' eyes were more than starry now, but rather they seemed to be shaped like stars from how much excitement he was holding it. If it weren't for his strong will, he probably would have fainted right then and there when she offered the idea with the beer. “Sounds like my kind of game!”
Gira walked over to the wall and opened up up some secret compartments, revealing a strange storage space and a fridge, in which she took out some cloth and a beer. When she walked over, Pracross was about ready to snatch the can and cloth away when she jolted back and tossed the can onto her head, offering a new idea. “Oh… hehe, you're on, sister!”
The Saiyan wrapped his tail around his waist and grabbed the piece of cloth from the Hybrid, wrapping the black sheet over his eyes as he listened around him. It was strange, being in the hard with only a few senses to determine his direction… luckily, he'd just learned a sixth one and was ready to put it to use. As the boy felt Gira’s power drop, he felt his rise as his aura jumped to life. Alright, this was the time to show Gira everything he'd trained for!
The Super Sonic Saiyan took a deep breath before taking a stance to get ready to lunge. “Ready?” When he got a response, he focused on the ki around him, but it was still hard to make out. Gira had dropped to a level very close to his, but she still kept herself a little bit higher. This was good, this meant she didn't doubt him.
“Hyah!” grunted the boy, jumping towards the Hybris, a quick left swipe aimed for the can as he used his flight to jolt forward.

Gira's grin grew when Pracross accepted her challenge. She knew he would, though. Saiyans weren't the type to turn down something like that. The prospect of seeing her full power on its own probably would have been enough. The hybrid had to admit, she was excited about this challenge too. "Landing a blow on me blindfolded is one thing. However, it is something else entirely to take a beer can off of my head blindfolded. It isn't going to stay in one spot, either, i'll tell you that much. You can sense me, but an inanimate object like a can of beer doesn't have its own energy signature." She slipped into her Turtle Stance, widening her stance and making a fist with her left hand, placing it near her waist as she raised her right fist up to be even with her face, the knuckles of her index and middle fingers stuck up slightly. "To win, you will have to make quite a few educated guesses. You know where the can is as of right now, but you will have to "watch" me, know when I move it, and guess where I moved it based on how my energy changes. It's going to be a challenge, I won't lie to you. But I believe you can do it if you try."
And that was it. Their battle would soon begin. She felt Pracross's energy flare up. He was going to strike soon. One thing Gira didn't mention is that she had mastered the art of sensing ki to such a degree that it was better than seeing. She didn't need to see, hear, or even smell. If she only had access to her sixth sense, she could manage a battle based on that. Pracross may believe her handicapped with this blindfold, but this was certainly not the case. The purpose of it was more to show her training partner the potential that this fundamental technique had. When Pracross asked if she was ready, Gira gave a slight nod, the can dipping just a little bit with her head. "Whenever you are." With that, the Saiyan made a lunge for his goal. She felt the very subtle changes in Pracross's energy and the energy all around as he made his move. It was almost like she could see, but it was even better. Sight was a very crude method of tracking an opponent.
The eye had to spot the target, then send that image to the brain. That image would be upside-down, so the brain had to mentally flip it upright. The time that took was miniscule in the grand scheme of things, but in a fight, milliseconds matter. Gira didn't have to see him. She knew that he was making his move milliseconds faster, and so she quickly bent over backwards, the can falling off of her head and towards the floor. Gira had already held her hand out into its path, however, so the can would land safely in her palm. As Pracross's fist passed over her, Gira lashed out upwards with her forward foot, aiming a kick right at the center of his stomach. Once the can landed in her hand, Gira then threw it up and a couple dozen feet forward into the air, then moved fluidly around Pracross to his rear. Once there, she would then aim three quick punches towards Pracross's back, followed by a heavy punch.
Once her combo was done, whether it was successful or not, Gira would leap backwards a little more than twenty feet and stood, casually crossing her arms with a cocky smirk. The beer can she had thrown then landed perfectly on her head again. "Like that, see?" Gira slipped back into her stance once more. "Don't rely on your external senses. They're just distracting. Focus on my energy, learn and feel how it changes when I move." At that simple advice, Gira's smirk faded to more of a friendly smile. "Care to try again?"

Gira gave Pracross a brief explanation of how the fight would, which now that Pracross had agreed, he was uncertain if he could do it. The Saiyan had only been learning the technique for so long that he could only understand the basics, but that didn’t discourage him from trying. As Pracross’ feet moved across the tiles, he memorized the textures. The Teen took a slow breath inward, then held his breath as he centered his focus to Gira as he prepared to attack.
There was a silent tension growing as they both seemed to be engaged in thought. Okay, Gira is there, so if I listen closely, I should be able to hear where she moves. Pracross gave himself a slight nod, closing his eyes from behind the black cloth. You got this, ‘Cross… You got this. A brave lunge way taken as a hand outstretched to the meet the can, only to be greeted with fresh breeze. The boy was confused and disoriented. She didn’t move, did she? He hadn’t had heard footsteps, did he just miss? Boy, that was awkward.
To his surprise, he hadn’t missed. What gave it away was the sudden force of power jammed to his stomach that forced out all of the boy’s air. Even if he was in a sudden shcok of pain, he knew he had to patch it together. Pracross turned over, hearing something around him… Wait, Girahad flanked! It was already to late when he managed to find her ki, as a few fists pressed his back, the last one hitting much harder than the last. Pracross went flying forward, tumbling onto his back and hitting the wall, back on the ground, legs on the wall. “Ow…”
Gira immedietely started to brag about it, as Pracross called it. The tone she had with he first few words were a bit… prideful, which the Saiyan could understand. It must be cool, being able to see without actually being able to, well, see. The Saiyan slowly started to stand back up, tumbling a bit under the force of the gravity. The Hybrid started to explain the situation while Pracross rolls his body to get it back to feeling well. Don’t rely on external senses… How was he going to do that?! That was like… impossible! Or… Was it?
Pracross had been meditating not long ago, the only thing he had felt is space and energy. Did he need a sense of calm at all times to feel it? Or would it develop over time to be useful all the time? Pracross could only hope he would learn quickly, or else this whole training thing would be a bust. When Gira asked if he’d like to try again, he gave no answer as he attempted a flank, going around and following Gira’s energy in attempt to swoop the can from behind, trying to remain silent as he focused in her energy. Sadly, he couldn't sense it well enough… yet.

Gira stood quietly as Pracross mulled over the advice she gave him. The hybrid could understand how it might be a little confusing. Even once you understood it, it took quite a bit of practice to empty your mind and focus only on the currents of energy around you. Still, trying to do so was a good way to train one's ki sensing abilities. Gira learned that through experience. Everything she was teaching the Saiyan, she had to learn herself. In fact, she was mostly self-taught before she met Articho and started training with him. By then, however, she had already mastered the art of sensing ki. Everything was silent and still for a moment before she felt Pracross on the move again, flanking her. It was a good strategy. One that required a little bit of thought on the hybrid's part.
Dodging this while preserving her possession of the can wouldn't be as simple of a matter as it was before. Hopefully, this meant he was learning. It wasn't like she had no clue what to do however, nor was she just going to give him the can. Oh no, she had a plan. The teen raised one hand, catching Pracross's fist with one hand and dropping low to attempt a sweeping kick, keeping her spine and her head in perfect alignment to prevent the can from falling. After that, whether it succeeded or not, she would follow up with a crushing blow to the center of Pracross's forehead, careful not to disturb the blindfold. This wouldn't be the end of her assault, however. She followed up after that with a series of powerful kicks to Pracross's stomach, ending it with a heavy upwards kick to the boy's chin that she intended to use to send him straight up into the ceiling.
After she turned up the heat like that for awhile, she took two gentle hops backwards to put another twenty feet of space between her and her opponent. Gira figured that her training partner deserved a little break before she turned the heat up even further. "That's much better. If i'm not mistaken, i'd say you're starting to get the hang of it. Simply empty your mind. Come to this understanding." She put on her best teacher tone. "We are all energy moving through space. That's all we are. We are much more than just our senses. Forget about them. Transcend beyond them. Empty your mind, focusing only on that one truth." Gira tapped the can on top of her head. "Come get the can." She smiled.

The flying assualt to the side was BOUND to work… right? Wrong. The first feeling he felt was a hand around his own, stopping his momentum together. With that, came an “uh oh”, knowing well Gira was most likely going to punish him for this. When the moment came, Pracross clenched his teeth as the feeling of ground below him slipped from below him, making him hit the back of his head against the tile. Another attack followed the sweep, no surprise to the boy as he found himself in an even closer relationship with the floor.
The Saiyan let out a gross sound as he attempted to make a roll away carefully, but was disappointed in thinking she was done. A barrage of kicks entered his gut, sending pulsing waves of agony to shoot through him. This wasn’t even her full power, too! Damn… The relentless strikes knocked any and all air out of his system, leaving his eyes in black vision… er, well, more so anyways. His head within an immense struggle to keep fighting, Pracross still forced himself up to find… a ceiling! The only structure he hadn’t romanced in the room yet. Now they were fated with the kiss of his pain.
As Pracross hit the ground once more, the gravity did not go light on him. The Saiyan laid on his side for a second as he contemplated giving up. He couldn’t do this… it was impossible, how was he going to do it? He turned over to his back as he felt Gira take a small recovery back. He… felt it…? Pracross took slow breaths as he felt that same feeling from earlier wash over him. That feeling of deep, serene calm. Though the situation didn’t provide it, he could still feel everything. How was this possible? Was this what he was looking for all this time? Or was this just a “Neat Death Mirage?”
Knowing well he wasn’t really dying, he wiped away the spit draining from his mouth onto his arm, not knowing just yet that it was blood. His taste seemed to be turned off from all the blood that had forced itself into their already. Sitting up slowly, the Teen listened to Gira while curling up, his body popping quietly with every move. It was painful, but he wasn’t going to complain. He didn’t want Gira thinking he was weak, even if she was a hundred miles ahead!
Pracross grit his teeth and kicked himself back up to recovery and he looked directly at Gira, feeling her energy, her every slight jitter. The Hybrid’s words echoed… All we are is energy… so focus on that! The Saiyan took a battle stance. His body was aching all over, but this time, something was different. Something inside of him sparked with anticipation. His Saiyan pride was kicking back in! “Alright, Gira! Here I come! This time, I want you to crush me! No more of this easy stuff!”
Pracross grew a smirk as his energy rose once more, his body moving in what felt like hyper time. “I will win this…” The Saiyan lunged forward, his hand balled into a fist for the first time since the session began. He was going to throw Gira off first, then swoop for the can, that was, if it was still in top of her head.
The first action taken by the Saiyan was a fake out, where he shot at Gira with his focused speed, then reappeared behind her, a trick he had used many times before, but what made it different was that before the fist made contact, the boy moved to the front once more. If the fist succeeded or not, the Saiyan would take up a barrage of fists, all aiming to set off Gira if they landed. It was time to prepare...

Gira remained still as she felt out Pracross's energy, waiting on his next assault. It appeared that the beatdown she had inflicted upon her partner did what she intended it to do. Saiyans were interesting creatures. When you backed them into a corner, their true potential showed itself. Being part Saiyan, Gira understood this almost as well as any Saiyan. At this point, it seemed that Gira was going to get a glimpse of the Saiyan's true potential. Gira couldn't help but smile at what her training partner said. He wanted her to crush him. At his new resolve, the half-Saiyan felt Pracross's energy spike as he prepared for his renewed assault. Gira quickly shifted into her battle stance again as she felt her opponent move towards her at great speeds. 'Another frontal assault...'
She was mistaken, however. Pracross's energy seemed to... stretch? That was definitely the closest word to what happened. It took her longer than normal to track the boy's position. Eventually, she found Pracross's position. He was behind her! The half-Saiyan turned and threw out a fist where he was, but he had vanished before it made contact. The hybrid's senses reached outwards again, finding that he had moved again to her front. She couldn't react quickly enough, however, and soon felt a fist make contact with her back. Gira let out a pained grunt and turned to block the rest of the punches. Pracross managed to strike her with the vast majority of his punches before Gira managed to turn and begin blocking effectively catching the few punches that remained with her hands.
Though Gira managed to block a good amount of the punches, she found herself giving the Saiyan more ground, sliding back with each punch. The hybrid growled briefly and threw a barrage of punches back towards Pracross's midsection, following up with several kicks towards the stomach, leaping backwards once she got a second to do so. Gira reached up onto her head and grabbed the beer can, tossing it across the room in an attempt to do something similar to what she did earlier. With a brief roar, she raised her energy to a slightly higher level before leaping towards Pracross with a heavy kick, following up with a barrage of kicks towards his midsection and face, hoping to finish this series of attacks before the can hit the ground.

Heart filled with passion, words filled with power, mind filled with focus.
These three things made up Pracross to the full extent as he pull his moves out. The first vanished seemed to be spotted as Gira turned to counter it, but luckily the boy had prepared for the scenario. The second location swap seemed to have Gira disoriented as the fist he threw hit right into her back as well as many punches. Feeling accomplished, the let his barrage go, feeling many hit before the Hybrid turned and fought back. It was a barrage of fists mixed into each other.
Gira found an opening, though, causing her to take back the push she had been losing. A fist hit directly into his stomach, instantly setting him into alert mode. The attacks that followed were some well placed kicks, the first two hit with great precision, but the failed a successful hit as the Saiyan dodged them with with some difficulty. After a few missed, though, Gira took a jump back, as well as Pracross. The Saiyan took his proper defensive post, feeling the offensive energy radiating from Gira.
“What is your next move…?” He muttered to himself, closing his eyes. Gira’s energy began to rise as she yelled out. The girl flew at Pracross, expectant of the kick with too much time. The Saiyan swooped to the side, landing with a roll and fire a few ki blasts as Gira turned back and started a barrge of kicks. Pracross held up his arms into an X shape as he started to block the strikes, only a few slipping in, sadly all to his face. With a newly bloodied nose, the boy growled to himself. Gira was too over confident to have the can on her person, meaning it’s somewhere else in the chamber.
A brilliant idea sparked in the boy’s mind, a smirk growing on his face. The Saiyan swooped under a kick by Gira, reaching his arms up and attempting to grab it. If successful, he’d pull in attempt to make her lose balance. Whether it failed or not, he’d summon a purple orb into his hands, inside seeming like a galaxy forming slowly. Pracross threw his hands forward, the orb turning into a beam of purple ki centered for her body. After that distraction was over, the boy was jump away and lower his ki in attempts to hide as a small ki blast appeared in his hand.
Pracross clutched the ki and threw it forward, sending it out as a wave fashion to cover the room. With that, everything in the room became visible under the ki sensing for just a second and there were only two notable things in the room. Gira and the can. Pracross sparked hi ki again as he shot for the Hybrid one last time as a distraction before turning last second and shooting for the can, his arm extended to grab it. If he wasn’t stopped, then sweet victory would be his...

Gira bat away the ki blasts that came at her from her opponent before she began her barrage of kicks. Some of them were blocked, but she managed to get a few of them off, slamming Pracross right in the face and bloodying his nose. When she attempted another kick, however, her training partner moved under it, grabbing her leg and throwing it out from under her. Gira grunted and held herself up with her ki, flying upwards towards the ceiling. Pracross followed that up with a powerful energy attack. 'Oh crap!' The hybrid focused her ki and moved towards her opponent with incredible speed using an afterimage. Then something incredible happened. Something she didn't expect. It was even something that impressed her. She felt a shift in Pracross's energy, then suddenly, she could see the entire room for a moment.
At that time, she even saw Pracross going for the can as it flew towards the other side of the room. 'Clever...' Gira smirked and kicked her speed up a notch, moving towards her training partner as he reached his hand out towards the beer can. The young hybrid reached towards the can herself, hoping to get a hold of it before the other Saiyan did. As she wrapped her hand around what she thought was the beer can, Gira felt flesh. That was when she came to a realization; Pracross caught the can first, mere microseconds before she did. As the two landed on the ground, the half-Saiyan chuckled slightly. "Heh, not bad. Looks like you win." Gira let go of Pracross's hand and took off her blindfold. "I think it's safe to say you've mastered the basics of ki sensing."
Gira smiled and tossed the black strip of cloth aside. "Good work. Enjoy that beer." She stretched for a moment. "So, as promised, i'll show you what it's like to fight a Super Saiyan." Gira took a few quick hops back to the other side of the room. "So, do you want to drink now, or do you want it later when you need something to dull the pain?" She joked, crossing her arms and grinning gleefully at Pracross. "Not that i'm going to try and hurt you, it's just... well... let's just say that it's going to be difficult not to."

At the last stretch, Pracross zoomed for the can, victory within reach… so close… so close… And then he felt two forces on his hand. A cold one in between his fingers and a warm one around his wrist. Pracross had succeeded in capturing the can and was victorious. Now, it was time to enjoy himself and see the damage…
Gira gave him compliments, which made Pracross shake with glee. Gira had always seemed like the kind type and her words were influential on someone who wasn’t nearly as strong as her, so whether or not her words were sincere or not, he’d take the thumbs up. When the Saiyan removed the blindfold, he rubbed his nose and examined his hands. They were both bloodied from his nose and mouth. “D-damn, you did a number on me…” But even with the blood on his hands, he turned to Gira and smiles big. “Nice”
Next step was to enjoy a fresh beer. The Saiyan popped the top and started to chug while the Hybrid talked on about the Super Saiyan form. “It can’t be THAT tough, can it?” he said, gravely not realizing the trouble he was waltzing into. He tried to listen in on Gira but it had been so long since he’d had anything alcoholic. The last time he did, it had been a month before he left Vegeta. That was long ago and now he was seeking every savoring moment with it. Pracross didn’t drink to get wasted though, so he was cautious about how much he drank. His tastes were to enjoy, and so he did.
Upon finishing the can, he crushed it and looked at Gira. “Haha, sorry, what’s going on?” He smiled, oblivious to the scenario. Pracross started to think of what he might’ve missed, scratching his chin before blinking back to his thoughts. “Oh, right! Super Saiyan!” The boy flew to find a trash can. When he found one, he tossed it in from across the room and flew back, appearing before the Hybrid and taking a bow. “I’m ready!”

Gira chuckled nervously and scratched the back of her head when Pracross mentioned that she did a number on him. "Sorry, sorry. I might have gotten a little too carried away. I had to push you into a corner though. When you push a Saiyan into a corner, you see what they're truly capable of." She grinned at her friend. "It worked, didn't it?" The hybrid gave the other Saiyan some room while he drank his beer. She frowned, however, when it seemed that he was drastically underestimating the power that the Super Saiyan transformation gave her. "Um... you should really..." Gira sighed, figuring he would see just how wrong he was soon enough. "Never mind. You'll see just how tough it can make someone soon."
The hybrid closed her eyes and took a deep breath. She felt like it was important to center herself before transforming. Maybe she could control the immense power more if she did so. Little did Pracross know, this was supposed to be some good training for her as well. If she could control her power in Super Saiyan enough to keep her from hurting Pracross, maybe she'd be one step closer to mastering the form. The Saiyan's words went unheard by the hybrid during her meditation. She didn't even hear him when he said he was ready. The fact that she transformed shortly thereafter was merely coincidence. Gira scowled with her eyes shut, clenching her fists and bending her arms slightly.
Once Gira began to call upon the anger she felt that day when she first transformed, a golden outline began to form around her body as the ship began to tremble. Her energy began to spike dramatically as the outline grew even brighter. Gira opened her eyes. They had taken on a deep sapphire glow. After that, the hybrid roared with anger, the golden outline forced outwards into a great golden aura. The teen's hair spiked wildly and took on the same color as her aura. The trembling of the ship soon became a wild shaking, the lights shutting off and being replaced by a red glow as the ship's alarm began to blare. The shaking went on for a solid thirty seconds before Gira's aura began to calm, and with it, the ship.
The lights came back on as the alarm ceased its blaring. Gira now stood where she was in her full Super Saiyan splendor, her aura blazing brightly around her form. She spoke with a cold tone, a hint of her Super Saiyan rage barely being restrained. "Come at me. Let me show you just how strong a Super Saiyan can be."

Pracross was shaking at the sight of the aura growing around Gira. It was incredible to see someone transform before your eyes, and into something so powerful, too. The Saiyan clenched his fists as the glow changed to a violent gold, the entire ship shaking so violently that the alarms started to blare. A part of him was fearful and telling him to give up… while another part was screaming to go get ‘em. The energy growing around Gira was terrifying, almost stunning the boy as her power rose. To think the energy he felt before was scary. This made the boy feel a feeling he’d never felt before.
Pure Fear.
Pracross got into his stance helplessly. Even if this was the friend he’d know for quite a while, it was still a Super Saiyan, untrained to have self control. He’d probably only have a moment before Gira would lose that control. To die to a friend would better than anything He thought. The boy was never one to be pessimistic but now his views were changing… Was this the power that was on Vegeta? Had he attempted to fight those beyond his recognition?
Still, the Saiyan would not give up. “Alright, Gira. Let’s do this!” Pracross brought a hand to his waist as a small orb appeared in his hand, his energy forming together to make a sphere of ki. The boy could imagine that it would have little to no effect if the Super Saiyan, but he was curious to the amount of power she held. It was time to test her strength…
