"Chai here. I can't talk right now, so leave a message and I'll get back to you. Thanks." BEEP... BEEP... BEEP...
'..Goddammit, you goat. What are you even doing?' Guardia groaned, setting his ZPhone down. Ever since Chai embarked to Vegeta, the zoanthrope hadn't picked up any calls or answered any of Guardia's texts. It had almost been a full twenty-four hours, and the blade was getting very concerned now. He was out and about running errands and covering the goat's Blue Banner work for him while he was gone, and only just made it home. An owl hooted in a tree above the blade, diverting the sword's attention momentarily. It was awful dark now, and here in the woods, the stars all shone brilliantly. The distant celestials reflected in his glimmering eye for a moment. Even now, the sky was just the same as it was back in their world.
Guardia huffed. Right-- their world. 'You are really not gonna like this, are you, Chai?' Tje blade muttered to himself, eyeing an opened letter on the outside bench beside their home. Some Vargas people had contacted the goat and blade- inviting them to some tournament that crossed the multiverse... Maybe it was best to just not tell Chai and skip it. The frail goat would certainly have a heart attack the moment he heard.
Shaking his form, Guardia was promtply reminded of his other duties when he glanced up at the roaring waterfall nearby. At the top of the rocky cliff was their dojo, which had been refurbished into a training area for the Star School's students. Guardia had been putting up flyers all across the capitols for a few hours before- if he wasn't inanimate, he'd certainly be winded by now.
A meet-and-greet training session complete with a punch bar and lots of snacks was scheduled for tonight- yet still no sign of the goatman hosting it. Guardia groaned, rubbing his nonexistant forehead. Chai owed him big time for this, that was for sure... But first, he had a few more dalliances to do around the house, like taking their clothing off the clothesline, and preparing some more meals for the training session. Puffing his form out like a chest with newfound determination, the blade swiftly slammed open the door to their home, eye fiercely narrowed.
His resolve was soon replaced by confusion. Smack-dab on the center table was, a... Human of sorts, passed out. Kiraburu Sarutobi , Guardia recognized, having seen the man's face in some of the Blue Banner's KAOS archives. But what was he doing here, let alone hungover and passed out on his table? Guardia floated beside the kitchen counter, beginning to cut up some meat and greens. Nonetheless, a telepathic tone soon echoed-- 'Wakey wakey, eggs and bakey, blockhead.' Guardia resounded in the mind of Kiraburu with a deadpan glare. Should his initial wakeup not work, a dullened butterknife would be flung at the KAOS operative's head, followed by a groan of agitation.
Guardia glanced outside the window, sighing as he could make out some shapes approaching. It seemed like he would be the Starmaster for today, at least.

[Thank Your Lucky Stars] Cerbris Thread PL - 5,532 Transformations: Base Form (x1) Gain Bonuses - Social (?) Active Event: Celestial OOC: ;-;
An unpleasant look resided on the face of the newly adulted being who was walking (If you could consider that running…) with his sister, hyper as ever and she jumped from tree to tree. The half demon scratched his chin, the freshly shaved face was now ready to show off. It felt strange, like being naked in front of the world, though he was walking through a forest of bamboo and trees. The only person here was the wind, the nature, and his sister, who had seen him without any hair on his face before, not like there had been a lot anyways. He maintains a sharp shaving schedule… Why was he talking about this?
This trip was a simple one. Now that Cerbris’ sister’s Gi was paid for, it was time to pick it up. The demon was wondering if Culu could really enjoy this school… She was so excited when the idea came out for this school, but she typically didn’t like listening to Cerbris when he tried to teach her how to use her blaster. Maybe he was too boring? Too basic? Maybe even a little strict for a 14 year old with too much energy? Either way, she would have to pay attention and learn while Cerbris stood in the background and just watched. He was told to avoid intervention of the lessons, though he could watch, and if he was lucky, he could spar as well, though he doubted he’d be super effective in a scenario. He was not his former self, bragging a high power.
The Halfling reached up to his head and started to stretch his body out while walking, feeling the cool air brush his skin. It was a strange day, yet he was already tired of it. It felt like his whole life was slowing down and becoming rather unsatisfying. Maybe it was his recent block in creation, or the fact that this adventure had only been so unsatisfying that he was starting to lose his thoughts. Maybe it was just the sadness he burrowed deep down inside finally coming up. It would make sense for it to come all pouring out, yet he didn’t feel like crying. His inspiration was low, but there was still a spark. Could he recover it? Cerbris let out a sad groan as his eyes fell to his shoes. What a mess he was becoming…
Upon arriving at a clearing was a house and a dojo with a few pieces of litter scattered everywhere. They were party favors, such as plastic cups and styrofoam plates, but it seemed to be only around the edges of the clearing, meaning that there was obviously someone to pick it up. Hanging around a tree was a hammock, a spot that he’d personally prefer if he were allowed to lay in it, but for now, he’d figure to find the mentor, someone named Chai… Chai… Was that a human? Most likely, as the world seemed to be populated with them, but it could also be just about anything. There seemed to be an close ratio of humans to nonhumans, so Cerbris wouldn’t be surprised of it was a Demon or a Namekian.
“This is us” said Cerbris, turning to his sister. “Let’s go knock on the door” Cerbris turned to the door, the thoughts from earlier still ringing in his mind. He didn’t want to give up and just lay down, become another person in society… But would it be healthier to keep pushing on into something you wouldn’t enjoy? Maybe there just needed to be more time…? He could find his way somehow… But when?

[Thank Your Lucky Stars] Culu's Thread PL - 6,789 Tags: Collan Vixen You're up!
A loud scream of joy escaped from her lips as she would jump from tree to tree. Today the young demon hybrid appeared to have more energy than she typically would have, especially due to the occasion. Ever since her arrival at Earth, Culu had always desired to see how Earthlings would fight and wanted to both learn and challenge one herself. To her fortune, she was able to enroll in one of these many schools, a wish of hers that had finally came true. Today she would be attending the meet and greet and of course she was elated. She knew that there would be a lot of people attending, and that would also mean there would also be plenty of strong people she would see. "Ooooooh! Ooooooooh! Ooooooh!" She would pester her brother upon the way to the school. "Do you think that there will be someone my age there? Will they be stronger? Ah! I'm so excited!"
However, another thought tugged at the back of her head, one that she had often suppressed. Culu did not like instructions. She had always been one to learn via instinct rather than through the words of others. She had found that learning by herself with minimal interference had always been the easiest, and learning through the words of others would simply cause her to get angry. But even so, she understood that this school wasn't here to teach her the basics. While one would be able to pick up the basics of fighting by themselves, there would be no way for her to learn fancy techniques through "instinct" and was left with the undesirable option of learning through guidance. Perhaps this will be different? Perhaps her new teacher would be more interesting rather than holding her hand through the entire process he would give her some space? Only time would be able to tell. For now, she would be able to focus on the present. It wasn't long before Culu had noticed the trees were thinning out. It soon became impossible for her to swing branch to branch due to the distance between the sturdy branches. Eventually, she simply hopped back to the ground and began to walk alongside Cerbris. Soon the landscape around the two would begin opening up and slowly the buildings would emerge from the foliage and into their view. "We're here! We're here!" Culu cheered as she began to dance around. "Hurry up I want to meet the people there already." She said tugging at her brother's shirt before running towards the opening on all fours. However upon arriving at the door, she would barely wait for Cerbris, instead, knocking on the door herself. "Hello! We're here for the meet and greet now!"

Thank Your Lucky Stars Collan's PL (Rising Sun): 247,480 Bonuses: N/A
In the skies above, a man dressed in a simple black tank top and jeans flew through the air as quickly as he could, a red flame like aura surrounding him. Collan, the white haired wonder himself, had made his way for here as soon as the time came, full of energy as he'd decided to get some rest before hand. He'd been waiting for this time for a while now, and today was finally the day, he and Jor, as well as some other people, were going to get training from his best bro. Though as he got closer, he still couldn't feel his energy, which was weird due to the fact he could feel it from planets away just days ago. "...Eh, he's probably just hiding his power." He said to himself.
Collan decided to go ahead of the snake, though he knew she wasn't too far behind him. He had dedicated himself to her recently, but he just couldn't help but let his excitement for this day get the best of him. He'd come to a complete stop just above the house, looking down to see two others already at the door, and he could feel Guardia's energy as well as someone slighter familiar inside, though not familiar enough to have a name come to mind. With a large smile on his face, Collan floated on down behind the two at the front door. "Hey! I'm guessing you two are here to train under my friend Chai as well? You're not going to regret it, just you wait!" Walking up to the door beside the two, he would try and do a friendly pat on their backs
"I've got someone else coming to join us as well!" Looking at the two, he'd notice one with purple skin. "The other person I know who's joining us is purple as well, you two will get along just fine!" He would joke around, chuckling at himself.

Jormungandr yawned as she zipped along over the trees, making a beeline for Collan's energy. She almost hadn't woken up in time for this - she still wasn't fully awake, in fact. But she had said she'd be there for the school's meeting, and she wasn't gonna break her promise. She almost landed face-first when she reached the clearing, but managed to correct herself at the last moment. "By the kais... I need some damn coffee." she grumbled, before walking over to the group. "Hey Collan. I take it these are our fellow students?"

Kira stirred in his sleep, his current dream was so pleasant. He'd become the premier and was now doing away with all the Evil in the North. A spunky half-demon girl was waiting for him at home, all that was left for him to do was renovate his old master's home so that it was up-to-snuff with what she deserved. Ever since he actually learned how to fly, the pleasant sensation that often accompanied dream flight had diminished exponentially. Now it simply felt like real flight, only providing a greater sense of joy. Everything about his life was perfect. He'd become the youngest human surgeon to successfully master the 6 base species' anatomies, had for the first time ever produced a perfect prosthetic, had completely recreated the North into the peaceful metropolis it deserved to be-complete with its own biomes that produced copious amounts of fauna goods-, and now finally his life felt complete. Finally, he saw the small shack that he’d called home for so long. He landed with a soft thump and suddenly realized that a beautiful bouquet of flowers for the girl that waited for him just beyond the door. He reached his hand out and clasped the doorknob. Upon opening it peculiar thing happened: 'Wakey wakey, eggs and bakey, blockhead.' Rang throughout the air like a bell and instead of the attractive face he expected to see beyond the door, was what looked like… A sword?
Kira’s eyes popped open and he sat upright on the table. He wasn’t sure how he’d traveled from a position slumped over on the table from a chair, to sprawled out on the table like a drink. He winced, realising his hand was still sore from his battle with Pracross just a bit before. He searched out into the area for his new friend but it was nowhere to be seen. Instead several powers significantly stronger than him were around him, one of them coming from Guardia, standing there in front of him. Others came from behind the door where several voices could be heard. He had no idea who any of them were, but it suddenly occurred to him that an angry individual was throwing death stares at him. Kira hopped down from the table and extended a hand to the new individual. “Ah Hello, I’m Kiraburu… I know how this looks ah… I’m here to join the Star School… I realize that was an odd introduction, coming from the table and all but I promise I’ll explain eventually.”

Thank Your Lucky Stars ((PL: 52,467 | M. Weights: ON)) "IT'S TIME IT'S TIME IT'S TIME!"Jican couldn't hold his excitement. He had been (indirectly) invited to the first ever meeting of the Star School. It was a beautiful night outside, luckily with no full moon in sight. "There's gonna be so many new faces! Maybe I'll get to meet someone with the same strength as me!", Jican thought to himself as he flew underneath the starry sky. He was most excited to see Pracross and Chai again, hoping to spar with the two for a second time. After ten or so minutes, his destination became clear. A small house in the middle of the woods made itself visible, as it was the only light source for miles other than the stars in the sky. The Saiyan began his descent, landing directly in front of the front door. "Heya everybody!", Jican said as he entered the house. His attention almost immediately diverted to the snacks laid out on the table near him. "Foooood....", the starving Saiyan said. He had completely forgotten about the fact that the posters Chai had made had stated that food would be there. After grabbing WAY more food than he should have, he began to examine the people around him. To start, there was a cool looking guy with white hair. "He looks strong! I think he'll make the PERFECT sparring partner.", Jican thought. The next was a snake lady. Her and the white-haired guy seemed close. There was another man too, dressed in a green gi. He was laying on the table for some unknown reason. Finally, there were two demon people. "They look like good guys, but...", Jican thought to himself. "Can't shake the feeling I've seen one of them before... Eh, whatever.". But one thing struck him as odd. There were no signs of Chai or Pracross. "Ok, I understand that Pracross might just be a little late, but why the heck would CHAI not come to his own party...? Something's gotta be up."."Hey, Guardia!", Jican said to the sword-man. Guardia seemed to be running the meet-and-greet, which made Jican wonder why Chai wasn't running it. "How's it hangin'?", the Saiyan asked. After giving him time to respond, the Saiyan would follow up by asking where the heck Chai was. "I was hoping to spar with him or 'Cross again. Speaking of 'Cross, where is he? He doesn't seem like the type to miss a Star School party like this.".

Matt had gotten up in the middle of the night, standing in his new ship with a feeling of anxiety rushing through his body. He thought to himself He opened up his ship, and walked out, closing and locking up the ship. His Aura flared to life, and he soared up into the air, high enough to get a vantage point on the area at large. He focused inward again, feeling out his energy. Then he extended those senses around him. There were markers of large reserves of ki everywhere on earth. So many of them unfamiliar. He could hardly tell where his boss was. He flat out couldn't sense Pieter anywhere. [Well... that's bunk... What do I do now?] With that a surge of familiar ki smacked into him like a wave as he turned direction for sensing. He felt collan, Cerbris, Culu, and... Guardia??? It's been a bit since he saw chai! and with that he kicked off, propelling through the air like a bullet. The more he worked, the more proficient he was in flight! Mostly due to it being how he even worked in the first place.
Coming up to the heaps of energies, he looked down, trying to find them accurately. That bit of the energy-sensing technique he hadn't entirely mastered. He finally noticed white hair going into a building, and smiled "There he is!" He dove down, ready to greet him, though the immediate thought of [YOU DIDNT TURN OFF YOUR FLIGHT!] didn't hit him till he was already propelling at an alarming rate. like a ballistic missile. He yelped and held out his hands, using his aura to slow his decent, but it was too late. He ended up smacking into the ground in the Scorpion Pose. Matt's body slumped onto the ground flatly, before pulling himself together, and upright. holding at his cheek, which what now red and heavily scuffed "a-ack! owch, owie ow ow ow!" he shook his head to force the pain down and looked forward, noticing people coming into this random building that Guardia was in "Guardia! hi!" Matt peaked in and waved. feeling it'd be appropriate to greet the host first.

And so the cavalry came en mass. Guardia recognized several voices beginning to chatter outside, but others were a mystery. It seemed the human at the table was awake now as well. The sentient sword set down his butterknife, having little reason to throw it since his initial wake up call worked wonders. Silently following the woken Kiraburu to the door, the host of the party would swiftly greet the gang first. 'Well, looks like our star students have all come, eh?' Guardia would have surely been smiling from ear to ear if he still had his mouth. 'To you newcomers, name's Guardia. Chai is... still not here, so I'll be your host for now.' The sword rolled his eye.
Guardia's eye trailed down to the rambunctious little hybrid, Culu. He hadn't noticed the short saiyan until now. 'Ohoho! You have demon blood also, don't you?' The blade floated down, orbiting the girl and her brother. Sure, they had the tails of saiyans, but their other traits were a dead giveaway to their hybrid blood. 'It's good to see some demons have good taste in tutelage.' The blade spoke in a confident tone, doing a quick flip in the air as well. The sword eyed Collan and the snake lady close beside him... The only response to the two was a quick, knowing wink from the blade... Or maybe it was just a deadpan blink? It was hard to tell with the one-eyed sword.
Jican, friendly as ever, greeted the blade himself first. 'Oh, I'm doing fine. Despite SOMEBODY running off and leaving me with all this army paperwork.' Guardia sighed, eyeing a stack of papers on the counter inside his home. Chai always picked the worst times to leave. Before the blade could say anything else, good ol' Matt swooped in with his classic scorpion landing. 'You sure nailed the landing, kiddo.' The blade remarked with his usual smugness. 'Glad you could make it, though! I'm sure Chai and I can help you with your landing skills.'
But to answer Jican's question as to where Pracross was, Guardia grimaced. His gaze seemed to drift off into space, though he knew better than to hide the truth. 'Urgent matters regarding an attempted destruction of Planet Vegeta drove my partner off to respond, apparently. Pracross also.' He gazed up at the stars above for a moment. 'I just hope they're alright...'
'Well, looks like the gang is all here!' Guardia clapped his crossguards together. 'This place is a mess, though. But I have prepared our dojo up atop the cliff there for a party worthy of only the best school's students.' The sword remarked with immense pride. Atop the cliff, a waterfall roared down to the lake near Chai's home, though bright lights could be seen shining from a building near the cascading river. If one listened closely when nobody was talking, some muffled jazzy music could be heard as well. 'Today's lesson is an easy one. Chai just wanted everyone to get to know eachother if he wasn't back in time, so that's the plan.' Guardia floated into the air, looking down upon the students. 'So we can all just trade backstories and stuff over some punch and s'mores to start. Sound good? Good!' Without waiting for a response, the sword soared into the air, leaving nothing but a trail of light left behind to guide his students to the dojo.
And boy, was the dojo a sight to behold. Outside a bonfire burned bright- dry tinder Guardia gathered for hours was lit and the flames rose boldly against the black sky. Several opened packs of graham crackers, marshmallows, and chocolate were all assorted near the log benches for some s'mores, as the blade promised earlier. A table was set with a feast for a king- the biggest chocolate cake anyone had seen with an equally large punch bowl, starry streamers and decorations dotting the outside of the dojo. A boombox seated on the porch busted out only the classiest of festive jazz music as well to complete the mood. The whole thing was a colossal riot of color, though it might have been a little more hyped up than it should have been. Even the wildlife surrounding the scene seemed to chatter and have a party of their own in the forest nearby.
Guardia remained silent for a moment, taking pride in the whole festivity he set up himself. Hopefully the others would have followed his lead and either flown up or treaded the dirt path leading atop the cliff- so long as most of the gang was there already, he'd take a seat on a log near the bonfire. 'Well? Get comfortable! I've been preparing this for days with Chai, so you all better have a good time!' The sword playfully threatened. 'So, uh, I guess we can go around and talk about ourselves. Anyone wanna go first?' Guardia clapped his crossguards together once more, glancing about at his starry students.

[Thank Your Lucky Stars] Cerbris Thread PL - 5,532 Transformations: Base Form (x1) Gain Bonuses - Social (?) Active Event: Celestial OOC: Heckle that's a lot of music
As the Halflings “walked”, the youngest started to blabber off about kids her age, as well as others that may be stronger than her. “I don't know about stronger, but chances are, they'll be older, most likely.” Upon arriving, his sister shot for the door before Cerbris could finish his statement, making him sigh and smile. “Alright then, let's get going”
While the two waited, people started to pile in, one after another. First was a hybrid, Saiyan and Human. His hair was a bright white and his smile was kind, as were his words. He made an assumption that the two demons halfling were learning, which he was only half correct. “Eh, no, the little one is. This is Culu and I'm her brother, Cerbris Hofferson. Nice to meet you.” Cerbris smiled and was about to offer his hand to Collan when he said another purple skinned person would be joining and that the two would get along well. At the comment, the half Demon scrunched his smile and his eyes dropped a little. “Thanks…”
It didn't take long for the other “Purple Skinned Person” to arrive, which when she arrived, she looked ready to take a nap in dirt. Cerbris felt obliged to offer the young lady some coffee but he was incapable due to his current area. He was in the middle of the forest, or on the edge of it, quite literally, on some stranger's house with no idea of who anyone is. The worst part about it is that he was still going through a surge of memories, forgotten things that was saddening him to the point where his focus was not on top. He had just now realized that this lady was indeed a snake, a demon just like him, which disturbed the Halfling a bit, but he didn’t care too much for it.
Cerbris offered his hand to the two newly arrived strangers, nodding his head to her question. “Once again, just the little one. I’m more of a bodyguard.” Soon after the handshake occurred (or didn’t), another person walked out the door, followed by a sword. The human looked beaten to hell and was probably not feeling so hot…. He probably needed some coffee, too. The sword who was following the human, who Cerbris greeted with a smile. “Yep, the demon blood is pretty heavy in both of us.” The Halfling was about to extend his hand to the human when a Saiyan boy with blue hair spooked him. He seemed to be examining faces, but didn’t stick around for long as he shot up into the air, making the hybrid jump back ever further and over the railing, falling into a convenient pile of dirt… Oh, wait, that’s the ground. The Half Saiyan recovered soon to see that same Saiyan hopping around, gathering food. Cerbris growled, starting to walk towards the dark skinned boy with a cold scowl. With the intent of giving the boy a piece of his mind, he reached out to grab the Saiyan’s shoulder, but in seconds, the Blue Haired Saiyan was gone. “Gah, I give up.”
Turning towards the stairs again, he saw Jican, which now that he thought about it, something about him seemed familiar. Maybe it was the outfit? Nah, that’s stupid. The Half demon sat at the firepit, beholding the giant flame and the sound of the roarous Saiyan blabbering on about some other boy named “Cross”, a dumb name, yet it was kinda cool, like something you’d hear in a video game. Maybe it was a new DLC in serpent fighter? A character named Cross… No, that was dumb, too, the fighters in that game were typically famous. He would have heard about this fighter, or at least the DLC. He wouldn’t miss a new update on that game, even if it was the end of the world.
Laying back so his head touched the ground, the half boy reached his legs up into air and kicked them about, boredom apparent as he- Wait, what’s that sound? Cerbris jolted up to see a shimmer of light shoot from the sky and land face first into the ground, bringing concerned eyes to the halfling, forcing himself to jump up and run after the newly landed Matt. “Aye, Matteness, you okay lad?” He didn’t mean to sound Irish but it’s just what came out. Crash landings seemed to be this boy’s specialty. What astonished him even more was the fact that he could do it so much and not be bother by it. When Matt recovered, Cerbris nodded. “Yep, you’re fine. I’ll get you some ice.” The Demon stood and walked over to a cooler, reaching into his bag and pulling out a plastic bag and started to fill it up.
As Guardia started to gather up everyone, Cerbris marched over to Matt and handed him the ice pack, listening in on the speech. Apparently, the mess from before would only be growing as this was going to be one hell of a party, as it was “Only the best for the star students”. What was the party that was here earlier? A birthday? It seemed to have only been 2 days ago if you had enough evidence… Cerbris scratched his chin and started to walk back the the firepit before everyone else. He received all of the information he needed from the pamphlet he’d read before coming.
As he sat, the rest seemed to follow. Guardia went around explaining how they were to take turns introducing themselves, which Cerbris thought he could avoid since he wasn’t a star student, but all eyes seemed to drift to him to start first. Were these people really that interested in his story? What a strange bunch… But he wasn’t going to disappoint.
“Well, my name is Cerbris Hofferson, older brother of Culu.” He gestured to his sister as he started to stand. “I live on Vegeta, normally, but we’ve taken a break from the planet to come here. We came to visit our cousin Capper after some…” He cleared his throat awkwardly to give an idea that he didn’t want to talk about what the event was. “Drastic events occurred. I guess I was brought here to… basically be Culu’s bodyguard but as my scouter can tell, you’re all really strong and are capable of helping out my sister.” Cerbris turned to the group as a whole. “Well… unless you have some questions, I guess that’s it…” Whether some questions were asked or not, he’d slowly sit down after some time and turned to his sister.
He never really thought about his past but it was surely enough to make him think negatively. The events with his mother dying, as well as Capper’s parents. There wasn’t a lot of happy events throughout his small history, but he couldn’t say he was upset. He was happy with his life, though his eyes may not show it most of the time… Cerbris only had on hope in his life, though.
And it was that his sister would not end up like him… Sad and unfortunate… May you forever be naive, Culu.

As the rambunctious hybrid had reached the entrance of the school, she had noticed that others would begin to arrive. The first of which was a human, possibly a hybrid. In reply to his question asking if they were here to also train with the person known as Chai, Culu allowed her brother to respond for her although she was quick to follow up. "Cerbris is the bestest brother ever to let me come here and train. I'm super excited to get started, I really want to get stronger with lots of other people." Noticing the other person who would join the white-haired man, she giggled before whispering to her brother, "Hey there's another purple skinned man. You don't stand out that much anymore." While her words had teasing tones, they were primarily meant to cheer him up. In a planet dominated by humans or humanoid creatures, it was always nice to see others who would also stand out. Without even thinking, she would go up to the group and introduce herself along with her brother. "I'm Culu! Nice to meet you," She said with a cheerful smile A familiar face had appeared as a person guided by a sword headed out from the room. Eyes lighting up and a smile blossoming on her face she began to speak. "Kiraburu! Hi! Remember me? We met in the forest!" Shortly after she had finished speaking, she had quickly left her brother's side and began to rush over to the human, but a thought would stop her in her tracks. Did the sword just talk? Tilting her head slightly, she began to scrutinize Guardia before speaking to him herself. "Are you a talking sword? What's it like being a talking sword? Are you cursed or something so that's why you talk and anyone who finds you gets cursed too?" Her questions had no malice in them, only curiosity. Culu had never seen a talking weapon before and the idea had interested her, she wanted to learn more even if her questions and thoughts were more on the insensitive side. However, a loud thud would catch her attention as she turned her head towards the sound to see another familiar face. As she had no other distractions this time, Culu would rush towards the saiyan despite his current predicament, placing her face right in front of his head. "Mattenes hi! How are you? I haven't seen you since that time I accidentally got lost. Oh yeah, nice face plant by the way," she commented with a large grin on her face. Another voice began to draw her attention from Mattenes, hearing a blue-haired saiyan speak of someone named "Cross". "Who's Cross?" She called out to the boy, "Are they another student here? Is he coming?" The young hybrid would watch as her brother brought ice to Mattenes while she began to listen to the speech Guardia was currently giving. While she was excited for the party herself, a certain phrase he had spoken about caused her to tilt her head. Share backstories? There was little time to question the sword before he would float away and began to follow the trail of light he had left for the group. She would only shoot her brother a glance before she began to follow the sword. But it soon became clear that she would not be able to catch up on foot. Eyes turning completely black for a short moment, a black mass of ki appeared before her as she quickly climbed onto Sharptooth, commanding him to follow the sword. Immediately, the skull shot forward and up the cliff. Culu's eyes widened as she witnessed the incredible sight before her. The melody of the crackling bonfire, jazzy music and chattering of wild animals enhanced the atmosphere while the decorations and the table full of food would complete a festive feel the entire meet and greet would have. She would jump off of her skull, allowing him to disappear in another lump of black ki before she would rush over to the setting and immerse herself in the party. As she would wait for the others to settle down as well, she would distract herself with a slice of the huge chocolate cake she had seen, noisily eating while getting the dessert all over her face and hands. For a moment she had forgotten about the "trading backstories" event Guardia had mentioned before until her brother decided to be the first person to bring things up. Memories flowed through her head as she remembered the events which would lead up to her arrival upon Earth. Even if she still was unable to understand fully the circumstances of what had forced them to flee their planet, the pain of leaving their entire life behind was an emotion she could comprehend without the aid of others. Shaking her head, as if to shake the emotions away Culu immediately spoke up. "Oooooh! Oooooh! I'll go next. I'm Culu Hofferson, the little sister of Cerbris. My story is almost the same as my brother but I was actually born in the demon realm and grew up there. I only moved to Vegeta about two years ago, when my family thought Capper was dead. I wanted to become stronger to one day figure out what happened to him. But a lot of things happen that Cerbris talked about." A humorless laugh escaped from her lips as she remembered her life before coming to Earth. A sharp pain of homesickness stabbed her, causing a slight wince from the hybrid. But she knew, now wasn't the time to be sad. It was a time to be happy and celebrate, she had to live for not only her own sake but also those who had died. Giving a small laugh, in an attempt to lighten her own mood rather than to lighten the atmosphere from the sadness of her own history, she spoke once more before returning to her half eaten cake. "I'm done. Who's next?"

Thank Your Lucky Stars Collan's PL: 61,870 | Rinsuji: 100,000 Bonuses: N/A
At first, the white haired wonder was confused when the purple skinned boy said he wasn't here to train, but didn't question it. Though afterwards, Collan turned to young girl, that he noticed actually have a Saiyan tail now, who would also respond to his question, keeping his big goofy smile he's had before he even got here. "Well, I'm sure you'll get real strong! Maybe you'll even learn other things that could help out!" Once Jor arrived soon after, the man turned to her, laughing as the girl went along with his joke. "You'd be right!" He would then turn back to the two young ones, introducing her to them. "This here is Jormungandr by the way, she's a full on Demon who's really great when you get to know her!" But even after his compliment, Collan leaned over to the Saiyan after she told her name and whisper to her. "Well Culu, just between you and me, while Jor is a good and persistent fighter...she's been lacking on her training, so maybe we could both help her get stronger."
Standing straight once more, Collan saw a strange man who had the somewhat recognizable energy. He couldn't think of his name for the life of him, which is why it's a good thing he introduced himself as 'Kiraburu'. "Oh hey! You're with the BBA too aren't you?" The white haired man was about to walk up and perhaps shake Kira's hand, though as he was about to, two more energies came onto the scene, Collan turning around to see a weird blue haired boy and someone who was still making their way through the air who's energy he quickly recognized as Matt's. He was happy knowing another familiar face was coming along, though to be fair he's been happy this entire time.
Though at the moment, his focus would be on this guy with said blue hair. He'd watch as this stranger approached Guardia, and at that point, he'd ask the sword a question Collan was beginning to think of the answer on as well. Where WAS Chai? While that earlier thought about perhaps the goat was hiding his energy could still be true, he'd think his bro would have shown his face by now. "Hmmm...I wonder." But before his thoughts could go any further, he'd hear a loud crash outside, looking out to see a Matt who'd have his face planted into the ground. "Ooooh, that can't be good." The man walked over, picking up the boy onto his feet, only slightly laughing at Guardia's sarcasm and walking back inside. Finally though, it was time, as Guardia started talking about what they were all going to do for their first time here.
It was simple, just tell everyone about yourself, and he couldn't argue against it. Though with all these cool guys around, he couldn't help but realize...his background was bland. All of his moments as a kid could only be summarized as either sitting around in his room or messing around with his buddy, Rinsuji. So, he raised his hand, about to ask Guardia a question. "Um, yeah, but what if our-" Before he got to finish though, the sword ended the talk and began to fly off, and so did other students. Seemed like he'd just have to deal with this for now, maybe he could think of something to spice things up.
Following along with everyone, he'd look in awe as they approached their new place of training. Everything just caught Collan off guard, he knew Chai and Guardia to be people of great taste, but how did they even afford this? No matter though, he'd decide to take a seat around the bonfire that was set up, sitting down and looking around at everyone before realizing his current state. "Oh! I've been keeping myself in my Rising Sun state this whole time, guess I should keep things more casual." With that, the man powered down, his red flame like aura dissipating. As he continued to sit around though, his mind wandered off, he'd need to think of how to keep things interesting, whispering to himself as he thought of ideas. "Hmmm...maybe if I take Rinsuji...yeah, and that could work too..." The white haired wonder continued to mumble to himself, before snapping back to reality as he heard Culu speak, asking who wanted to go next.
"Oh, I uh guess I'll talk about myself. I'm Collan Vixen, I'm a hybrid between a Saiyan and a Human myself. My father's side of the family owns a temple deep in the forest, though that's a story for another time. As for my past, at a young age I was pushed to be a fighter by a buddy of mine named Rinsuji, together we would go and try to make our way to the top! We'd take on many things like-!" Before he could finish, he was cut off as shouting came from above in the trees, someone with long black hair who looked to be in his teens jumped down towards Collan shouting, "ELBOW BLOW BANZI!" The white haired wonder turned, only to take a elbow straight to his left shoulder, falling over in pain with a quick shout of pain before going, "Yeah...and that's Rinsuji." The man-child dusted off his hands. "Yep, and that's what he deserves for leaving me alone. Anyways, I think HE'S done for now, so whoever wants to go next they can."

[PL:64,541 HW ON:16,135] The young hybrid wandered around searching for the source of all that energy. Given his time on Earth, large gatherings of what could be unusually high power levels were not unheard of by now, though they still piqued his interest. Usually, a meeting like this ended in a good fight, free food, or best of all, both. As Edoma made his way closer, he hesitated for a moment. All of his time north, usually with at most one other person had left him unsure of how to approach situations like this. He had seen flyers up around the area, advertising some sort of martial arts school, and this just happened to be close to the place described in the ad. Would he be intruding? No, the paper said prospective students as well. The teen always wondered just what sort of training an earth school could offer, and having seen plenty of everyday human schools, the larger powers did provide a new possibility. Walking closer, Edo was able to make out some of the faces at the meeting. Their power levels all spread out, some barely noticeable to the cocky fighter, and others leaving the Saiyan in the dust. He even recognized a couple people after some careful scrutiny. Or rather, he recognized one person and a sword. "So THAT'S where I heard the name Chai before." he thought aloud. The goat he once mistook for a bounty, was nowhere to be found. That being said the sword was unmistakably the same. Collan was also a familiar face, though Edo couldn't remember that name to save his life. He knew he'd seen him somewhere, but couldn't place where. The power itself felt familiar too, albeit greater than before. Taking a deep breath, the teen figured the best way to find out would be to just go and ask. As an added bonus, he'd get to meet some new people as well. "Hey th- Oh, I'm not interrupting am I?" Edo stopped himself short, realizing he may have been interrupting something. He didn't want to leave after all this was his destination. So instead he decided to wait for the familiar white-haired hybrid to finish with his friend. "This IS the meeting place for the Star School right?" He inquired the group.
OOC: I'm BACK... AGAIN! It's been a while and I'm hella rusty, so I HOPE this is good enough Jormungandr Thanks for letting me go before you, you are up snek.

Before Collan could answer the serpent's question, even more aspiring warriors showed up, with one of them having actually already been in Chai's house. Jormungandr decided not to question what he'd been doing there. She did, however, briefly contemplate the man's power - he felt as if he was no stronger than the average human. After a moment, she shrugged it off. After all, she could hide her strength - though she wouldn't have done it here. The next newcomer, by contrast, felt almost as strong as Collan. When she thought about it, the third one, who was maybe as strong as her, might not even be a student. They just poked their head in, and said nothing about training here. The demoness was distracted from her pointless musings by a wink from Guardia. She stared at the sword for a moment, not sure how to respond to a wink. Should she... wink back? ....200 years of life and I still don't know. Perfect. she thought to herself, settling for a conspiratorial grin. She followed the rest of the group when Guardia led them to the dojo, but unlike the others, she wasn't very excited to "trade backstories", as the sword put it. It might have been a nice idea for most folks, but the demoness didn't like telling others about her past. Even the beginning of her time on this planet was a rather unpleasant subject. As she attempted to concoct a lie about her origins, one word stood out to her from Cerbris's explanation of why he was here. "Hofferson... You're related to Capper? Kais, I haven't seen him in a while... is he okay?" she asked, forgetting where she was for a moment. She had almost forgotten about the diminutive saiyan, which she was rather guilty about. She owed everything she had to that little engineer - without him, she wouldn't have learned to be a better person. The fiend was so wrapped up in her thoughts that she didn't even notice the food, or the music. She never got a chance to, either, as just when she might have gotten a moment to take in her surroundings, Rinsuji dropped out of a tree, elbowing Collan in the shoulder. "...well that's one way to get someone's attention." Jormungandr remarked, snickering. Deciding the man-child's words were her cue to start talking, she opened her mouth, ready to lie through her teeth - and was interrupted by the arrival of yet another aspiring warrior. "Yeah, it is." she said, in response to the newcomer's question. "We're swapping backstories. I was about to give mine, in fact." She took a deep breath and began anew, the distraction disrupting her train of thought, causing her to forget that she had planned to lie. "My name is Jormungandr," she began, "and I'm... well, I used to be just about the worst person you could ever meet. When I was first brought to Earth, the only things I really wanted were to conquer and kill. I owe my current viewpoint largely to Capper Hofferson - the little guy changed my mind about a lot of things. I... don't tell many folks about this, for reasons I'm sure you can all guess." She glanced at Collan and shifted her feet nervously before continuing. "Nowadays, I work for the BBA in their science division, and I don't even fight very often. I will probably be a bit rusty when I spar, but I'm sure I'll get used to it again quickly enough."

Kira smiled nervously as he caught the sword’s eye. He felt a small bead of sweat go down the back of his neck when he saw the Guardia put down a small butter knife, supposedly meant to be thrown at Kira before he’d woken up. He turned light shade of pink when he realized he’d extended a hand to a sentient sword. Not only that, but it was the hand he’d disfigured in his previous battle. It didn’t seem to bother the sword however, as it simply made it’s way over to the door. A multitude of strong fighters were on the other side. Some, Kira recognized from here and there. He’d seen some of them around at the usual BBA things, files and such. The sword greeted everyone openly, gesturing with its crossguards to punctuate its sentences. Kira smiled and suppressed a chuckle, it was something interesting he’d never seen before. He kept his mouth shut for the most part, until a familiar half-demon perked up at the sight of him. He smiled and put a hand on her head before moving to join the rest of the group when Guardia addressed everyone. After a while Kira’s attention shifted away from Guardia and he started looking around the wonderful scenery. The sound of rushing water caught his attention and he watched Guardia sore into the sky over to the Star School Dojo. Kira was rather excited at the site of large amounts of food. The large fire was calling to him as well as the many mounds of s’mores materials that would soon be consumed. Kira took a seat on one of the logs and waited as several people introduced themselves, and a new person he’d never seen before suddenly popped in. Eventually it was his turn, and he sighed and forced a smile. He was honestly terrible at this sort of thing. “Hello! I’m Kiraburu, Kira is fine. I”m just a full-blooded human working in the BBA. That’s really all there is to know about me. I know it’s not much but it’s something at least. I can’t wait to start training with all of you.” He tried to end on a cheery note and his gaze shifted into the middle of the fire after looking around at everyone.
