Botany hadn’t seen planet Across before and it was…..different. He couldn’t feel the atmosphere and didn't care to. The planet felt incomplete somehow, he could tell just by how the star looked as it set for the night, so breathing didn't seem like the best idea. His environment controlled suit and helmet made sure discomfort wasn't an issue anyway. Looking back at his pod, he thought about what was to come. He had been summoned to get orders for his next assignment. While sounding like a normal procedure, he had never been summoned to the capital world of Acros space. There were thousands of low-level captains in the Acrosian Army, yet he couldn't see any others. No one else even had a blaster or helmet beside his men. It was almost natural to feel uneased.
He strolled off the platform and to the bridge with his men in toe. Doing a quick scan with his scouter, he found that his power level wasn't as high as it seemed farther from the core. He was around 2,300 with standard grunts being around 1,250 so he was used to being one of the more powerful soldiers in the area. However, out here the guards themselves were at least 3,000. Other soldiers moving about differentiated but didn't dip below the weakest guard. If he had any experience with the Acrosian who had originally taken him in his own army, Botany could piece it that he needed to prove himself a bit to show his worth. And that wasn't even including his ten men. They were just normal blaster troopers. They were practically surrounded in elitism. He looked at all the men in the room in the eye, regardless of power. He wasn't going to show weakness.
Moving deeper into the base, he focused on what his next assignment may be. With the Dominion acting as overlords expansion wasn't exactly easy. He thought it possible, just not something that would happen with the slug people breathing down their backs. Besides, he wasn't that powerful enough to subjugate worlds. He and his men had previously just taken care of internal affairs, tracking down deserters, “reassuring” the discontent within the empire, take on a pirate group, etc. All the while he was thinking, he watched the other men as the moved. A red horned alien with a constant sneer plastered to his face bumped into an owl looking soldier who did nothing more than throw an obscene gesture his way. Just standard banter fighters with egos passed around. Doing a quick test of his scouter, both soldiers were way above his level.
Little time passed before he came before the room he was to enter to receive instruction. The placing was odd, most definitely. Not a lot of traffic came by here either. Preparing his men, he activated the device that opened the door to the room and stepped inside. His men followed suit.

Botany had entered the room, this room in which he was to retrieve his mission had an injured soldier on the ground with his kneecap slightly teared open with lots of blood coming out. The soldier was but five feet from the group of soldiers and Botany that he had screamed in pain. The alien who was injured was a blue brenchian who grunted and yelled.
"YOU FUCKING ASSHOLE! WHY WOULD YOU SHOOT ME! WE DID THIS MISSION ASSIGNMENT TOGETHER AND YOU WANT TO TAKE ALL THE CREDIT! WE BARELY SURVIVED THAT DANGEROUS PLANET!"
The cocky red brenchian who had injured the man had his arms folded across his chest and with a smirk on his face, he projected his own thoughts of the matter.
"I DID MOST OF THE WORK! ARE YOU KIDDING ME! I SHOULD RECEIVE ALL OF THE CREDIT. AND I SHOT YOU BY ACCIDENT AND YOU KNOW IT!"
The commotion between the two was soon interrupted as Orenji and two other guards had arrived on scene. Orenji started to examine the man's wound and their screaming could be heard miles away. Orenji turned to face the red brenchian who had done this.
"Based on the injuries of this man, I wouldn't deemed this an accident at all. You severely injured this man...."
Orenji had then turned to face the blue brenchian and with a quick wave of his hands, started to perform the operation to stop the bleeding. The first thing that Orenji had done was summon a ball of fire in one hand. He had then send the fire to the wound of the blue brenchian. The next step he had sent lighting to the tip of his index finger and mixing in with the element of water he had generated to his other hand, he had combined the two to lessen the pain of the fire and to turn it into a harden state to completely stop the blood from coming out any further. The lighting was used to close the wound completely like stitches. Orenji had wiped the sweat from his forehead as he rose to his feet and the blue brenchian also being aided to his feet by the two guards that came with Orenji.
"Thank you so much Dr Orenji. I have heard the great healing you have done with the use of your magic.."
Orenji had nodded in respect back to the blue brenchian and then took out his paper slip and quickly wrote down on it.
"I will also provide you a slip form to excuse you for going on missions for at least three days. Also go to the medic station and hop into the rejuvenation tank as well.
Orenji had finished writing down the information and giving it to the blue brenchian. Orenji had then quickly turned to the red brenchian.
"As for you, I believe you will receive disciplinary actions for what you had done to this man. With my report along with the crime you had committed, I wouldn't be surprised if you get locked away..."
The red brenchian towering over Orenji and cracking his knuckles in a means of intimidation. Orenji had backed away, but the red brenchian had taken a swing at him. The fist was grabbed with his left hand, and Orenji aiming his palm at the center of the red brenchian's stomach. A stream of water escaping the palm of his hands and consuming the man's entire body as he was now being sent back and impacting a nearby wall. The man catching his breathe upon landing and now being soaked and wet, he looked to Orenji and panted. Orenji then slamming his palm to the water puddles that leads straight to the red brenchian. The palm touching the beginning of the puddle and lighting traveling straight to the brenchian and the shock being strong enough to knock him out. The two guards walking over to the red brenchian and taking him away to the medic area where he will be charged with an attempted assault on a medic official as well as his previous crime. Orenji had sighed as he then looked to the ten soldiers and looking at Botany who appears to be the captain and leader of this platoon.
"Hello there, sorry for the commotion. we always get tough guys like that, that think they could one up me just because i'm shorter and a ringo..."
Orenji folding his arms across his chest and looking at Botany.
"Also truth be told I was also coming here for a mission.."
Orenji had then did a semi turn to face the mission area and waiting for a high superior to show up

(Koldar/Voca Thread PLs: 119,158/89,368.5) Koldar had just gotten a request, through Voca, by Abzerute to meet up for a little training session in one of the gravity chambers that the AE had at their disposal. Koldar asked Voca about how making Abzerute incognito was going, and to Koldar's dismay, the Bronze Arcosian had just remained seen as that! Voca went on to explain that Lukkass had been greatly mia for quite some time, ever since they landed on Arcose the first time around, while Retsu was mia. No one had noticed the horned man was mia due to the great amount of activity they had since arriving! The Supreme Commander would go to meet Abzerute, but first, he had been meaning to go inspect the various captains that arrived recently to Arcose from some of the other planets that were keeping their loyalties to Arcose! There'd been a doctor missing on the premises, ever since Wavr had gotten herself sucked into all the medical technology that needed updating, and studying, as well. Rather than interrupt her, he'd look to getting another doctor, to act as a temporary until she got out of her studying... Which was impressively concerning Koldar, considering it'd been several months since then! Koldar was walking through the base, soldiers immediately freaking out, while standing over to the side and saluting the Supreme Commander, as well as Chancellor Voca, the tall and bald Heran. He had to repeat to them to be at ease... Quite often, in fact, that even the soldiers he told to be at ease that he ran into again would nearly crap themselves! "Voca," Koldar asked the Heran, after telling the same set of soldiers he just met to be at ease, again, and resume their duties, "Do you think I should send a message out to the soldiers in the base to just be at ease while I'm on the premises?""Sir, with all do respect,"[/color] the middle-aged Heran responded with his baritone voice, "Since you're the Supreme Commander of Arcose's forces, they need to understand the chain of command! It's what lets soldiers be that. You should be g-"There was a wet thud on metal in one of the near by rooms in the hall that Koldar and Voca were traversing, like someone just tossed the contents of a large bucket out that had a fish inside... Only, the fish grunted in pain! Koldar smiled, stating, "Good point, Voca... Let's see what the fuss is about."Voca frowned and looked lazily at the doorway the sound came from. He'd been thinking the soldiers were getting antsy, being cooped up in this place, and it was starting to turn violent! He and Koldar walked over, Voca going first and stating with a booming voice, "Atten...TION!"The Heran walked into the room first, while the old Arcosian stood outside, out of sight while Voca found out what the fuss was about. Voca looked around the room, expecting everyone to be silent and standing straight! While he was scanning the room, he spotted a large, red Brenchian groaning. It seemed the soldiers here were waiting to be briefed and the waiting was getting to them! ( Captain Botany, sorry about the wait! Here's the post! Right now, Voca's the only one in the room right now, with Koldar right outside, just listening in out of sight.)

Botany looked at the events that transpired with a little confusion. The Brenchians and their banter were to be expected, but the presence of the doctor and how quickly he showed up was strange. He took no part in the fight and made sure his men didn't either. The last thing he needed was a riot. As the whole scenario started to conclude and the alien explained his appearance, Botany chose to stay quiet. He merely nodded at his words. His attention was drawn to his scouter, as it was picking up power levels from nearby. The readings were much much higher than what he had been seeing, causing him to stare at the green glass in puzzlement right before he heard a voice of no doubt an officer. Atten-TION!" His arms snapped to his side as he stared straight ahead. His grip tightened around his blaster while his free hand slapped against his thigh straight. It didn't take long for the Heran to come into view. Not many Herans were out by where he had served, so to see one was new. The bulk was no doubt present. He had read or seen somewhere about them looking very strong, which was very present. Whenever the officer looked in his direction, he stared straight forward, but when he looked away Botany glanced back. He stood a step forward from his fellow soldiers depicting his rank. His position was at the end of the line as well. They weren't guards, so there was no reason to have them flank him. Each one of the soldiers had their own style to the uniform. Most of them were assembled during the civil war, where uniform color lost its meaning. While Botany had the colors his station had, the man next to him wore no undersuit and had the red and black pattern of the Acrosian who attacked his station. Another was white and gold on a black undersuit, with the crotch plate removed. They were all just random assorted soldiers from different areas, pressed into service in other areas. No doubt it would be noticed by the Heran. Botany didn't think that the inspection was particularly of him to what he saw. His attention was probably on the beaten Brenchian. ( Koldar Frost You're fine.)

Before the medics could escort the injured red brenchian out of the room, another man entered the room. This time it was someone of authority. One word brought everyone into attention. Orenji had entered the stance within seconds of the word being released from the man's voice. Standing right beside Botany, he looked straight ahead at the wall that was in front of him. He stood with both his arms to his side and his feet just 45 degrees apart from one another. He didn't utter a sound and only would speak when addressed about the situation or when he was spoken to.
The two medics that were taking the injured man, had placed him on the ground and also got into attention like the others. The red brenchian kept eyeing Orenji in an angered sigh and just barely managed to get to his feet with a heavy pant escaping his lips. Orenji had seen the stare but immediately ignored it as he kept his attention at the superior who had entered the room. Tension was indeed in the air, and Orenji didn't want to get in trouble for self defense and since he had many witnesses around him, his story would clear if the red brenchian decided to lie. Orenji just stood there, sweating, and awaiting the superior to speak and Orenji was nervous what would be the outcome of the whole ordeal.

Voca looked out at the men gathered in the hall, who were all standing straight as a nail, looking straight forward. It looked as though these were all soldiers from the farther reaches of the universe that were serving the Empire. Two of them, out of the group, had stood out more than the rest, despite looking not much different than the others. The first, a rather human looking individual, which upon closer inspection revealed himself to be a Beri-seijin, had a rather average level for a man of Captain Rank! Yet, he was standing assertively in front of his platoon. The next was standing in a group of medical personnel. They were an orange Ringon, who had a scar of their left eye, like they'd seen some grizzly battle at some point. "Who here can tell me," Voca spoke aloud in the quieted debriefing hall, "Why, in Emperor's name, I'm walking through the hallway with my superior and I am hearing a wet bag of meat, which turned out to be a soaked to hell soldier from the Akai Brenchia, being slammed into a wall?"He looked at the Beri-Seijin Captain, first, seeing he'd been remaining staring straight forward and hadn't budged! The bald Heran walked over him, asking him, "Care to explain what happened here, Captain? Why're your fellow soldiers attacking each other like damn saiyans in an eating hall?!"( Captain Botany)

"None of my men were a part of this fight. Upon entering the room, that Brenchian and another were bickering with the other having an injured knee! The Ringo came in sent the other Brenchian to the rejuvenation chamber right before a brawl between the doctor and the red one started out! The red one attacked the medical officer first, sir!" Botany had no trouble explaining the situation. He wasn't sure if the red alien would testify the same, but the doctor looked like he would. Botany looked at the higher officer in the eye as he spoke. He made no movement other than his jaw to speak. After he was finished telling the story, he sharply nodded his head and ended with a 'sir'.
He had picked up on what the man had said. He said that he was walking with his superior, which meant there should have been another officer of some kind nearby. He hadn't seen another officer enter though. He thought maybe the other had left, which wasn't likely considering both would have heard the tussle and both would have responded. He made no attempt to look around, however, as to not break attention.

"And im that medical officer he's referring to sir."
Orenji took one step forward and didn't move any part of his body and stayed at attention as he continued to speak.
"My name is Orenji, I am from the medic division. The two brenchians were speaking out of line to one another. That red brenchian started it and I only acted in self defense once he tried to attack me. My medical team was also here and can support me on that claim. Sir"
Orenji went back to his original spot and continued to stand there and awaited what was to come.

"This one's a well trained soldier," Voca thought to himself, after hearing the Captain explain what just occurred, "Koldar'll enjoy hearing we've got a straight shooter... Now to hear the doctor."
Voca nodded in return to the captain, before going over to the Ringon that had been identified and chose speak up to explain his side of the story. He put his hands on his hips before being right in front of the medical soldier, a faux smile on his face. He looked at them and spoke, in an eerily calm tone, "Step back front, soldier."
Koldar was able to hear what was going on, and had Voca not been there, he'd have been dragging that soldier by the hump of his head for speaking when not addressed! Voca being in there guaranteed to have gotten the full details out.
"First, I've a question for you," Voca spoke, then asking him, "When you were being trained to be a soldier, did your sergeant ever tell you to speak up when you are identified in the room for any event that transpired by another soldier?"

Botany heard the doctor come forward and start talking and immediately became wary of the Heran before him. It broke one of the most basic and biggest rules of military formality. Orenji was bound to get some form of discipline. He stared straight ahead. He knew better than to get caught up in it.

"No sir I do know that I speak unless spoken to by a superior.. I do apologize for that outburst. I didn't mean to appear out of line but I felt the need to address the situation almost immediate before that red brenchian got the chance to.
Before coming to the capital I was the head doctor.. a leader in the medical field.. now I know it doesn't mean much but I guess you can say I'm not fairly use to being in a grunt like or soldier like setting since I'm a medic.. excuse me for my ignorance sir and I am not arrogant by any means.. and the situation that did transpire, I was involved in it.."
Orenji stared at Voca and kneeled down before him and continued to speak.
"I will take any punishment sir for my rude outburst.. I will correct myself in the future.."
Orenji then stood once more to his feet and awaited what would Voca do. He swallowed his spit nervously.
The red brenchian just stood there grunting and pissed off, which made Orenji wondered whether he wanted to fight him again or tell the superiors a different story. Orenji saw this at the corner of his eye as he didn't move his line of sight from Voca's eyes.

The soldier begun to try reasoning his way out of the situation he just put himself into, to Voca. Voca groaned and shook his head as he looked at him, while the soldier knelt down. "Let me get this straight," Voca spoke up, "You expect me to just this by because of your apology for not following basic etiquette?! Do you think I'm stupid, soldier?!"Voca pulled hand up, pointing over to Botany, still looking at the kneeling Ringonite and stating, "Stand the hell up, you walking sausage nimrod! You were not given any order to kneel! When you stand at Attention, you stay that way for as long as I say you stand at attention! Ain't that, Captain?"( Captain Botany)

"Yes sir!" Botany slightly stiffened when the commander pointed at him. If the doctor was telling the truth, he most definitely needed to go back to basic training. All the unnecessary stuff was really worsening his situation. In truth, he was nervous too. Voca hadn't moved to discipline the Ringo yet, but no doubt anything he could do to Orenji would hurt a lot. That was assuming physical beating was something this officer did. He remained standing as all the events transpired.

"No Sir! I was out of line!"
Orenji stood still and looked at Voca in his eyes and didn't move a muscle after replying back to him. Orenji awaited to see what was the next step. Truth be told Orenji didn't think he would be in trouble, as the attention should be put on the red brenchian for his aggressive actions. Orenji wasn't going to speak unless addressed. He took the example of Botany and remained still like he did, not even blinking for a long period of time, almost in a trace like state. He was nervous but he tried his best to hide it.

"Look straight, soldier," Voca barked, "You're damn right that you were out of line! Next time you do that in my presence or in the presence of the Emperor, you're running the entire Glacial Belt in nothing but your jockstraps, along with everyone else here!"Voca looked at the Brenchian, who was still grumbling about what happened before. He darted over to him, and proceeded to slap him in the face, and then spat, "WOULD YOU LIKE TO DO THAT, YOU OVERGROWN, SUN BURNT, TEAR SOAKED MAN CHILD?! You're in the damn Arcosian Empire Army! Crying because you got in a fight with your fellow soldiers over the most trivial shit when we're in the middle of a damn war with a super powered SSE is grounds for being put in a frost box for a month, and if you're wondering what a frost box is, it's the opposite of a hot box... And it's in the damn Glacial Belt!"Koldar had a smile on his face, wanting to snicker at Voca's berating! Hearing him rave at the soldiers was reminding him of the older days, when he himself was a Captain, and a young one at that. ( Captain Botany)
