Thread PL: 31 719 Heavy weights active! Sensed PL: 7 930 Current Form: SuppressedOn a warm, beautiful Namekian afternoon, a small ship broke through the atmosphere and landed on the grass outside Castle Mazoku. With a mechanical "whirrr," the glass dome on the ship slid open and a four foot tall Arcosian floated out of the ship and touched down on the ground. Waiting for him was a tall Namekian with a massive sword on his back. This Namekian was Cello, Ais's loyal friend and bodyguard. Cello smiled warmly as his lord came into view, then bowed before him. "Lord Ais. Welcome back." Ais looked down at his bodyguard, gesturing for him to rise. Ais was incredibly happy to see him. So much so, he resisted giving the man a big hug. There were more than a few moments on Arcose when he thought he would never see Cello again. Or at least, until he got out of hell. If that was even possible. Ais instead clapped Cello on the arm as he rose. "Cello. It's... it's good to see you." "Likewise, my lord." Cello couldn't help but smile. "How was seeing your home? I assume things went better than they did on the other fronts.""Arcose is bland, boring, and full of fools. Father was right. They need a reformation. The battle itself was fine. Nothing I couldn't handle. It seems we managed to defend the planet effectively. Thank thegods Xylo showed up. Got to see a Super Saiyan again. A Majin too. That was... interesting. The Majin nearly killed me. So there's that. I'd be dead if not for Xylo's timely intervention." Cello blinked in surprise upon hearing this. 'This is why I should have gone with him. I need to give Xylo my thanks when I can.' The Namekian warrior made a note of that and put his smile back on. "Well, that doesn't matter. You're safe. That's all I care about.""Have you seen Dantalion? Last I heard he was on his way back here. He was injured during the battle and I would like to see if he made it home safely." Ais felt a little bad that he wasn't around to assist Dantalion. He and the demon had become something resembling friends, so Ais felt some degree of responsibility. "He has been back for awhile. I haven't seen him today, though. I am certain he's around here somewhere." Dantalion

He had been there for all of a few hours thought it felt like a lot longer. He hadn't had the chance to rest once he got back onto Namek, instead, he was swamped with paperwork and forms that he needed to fill out to Bolster the Ranks of Namek. He ran a finger against his furrowed brow, spindly fingers running through page after page of text with a highlighter in the other, twisted and twirled as his fingers made it dance for whatever amusement he could get. "Son of... We lost that many men." He sighed, leaning a little on his chair and looking at the roof of whatever tower he had abducted in place of his house, mainly stemming because he couldn't find it when he went looking. "I honestly thought we were gonna lose. And I thought I was to die. If I knew otherwise well..." He scoffed reminiscing on his short lived contribution to the war effort. Which consisted of trying to Scorch Earth the entire planet.
As he leant back he heard a whisper, glad he shut his mouth else who he suspected were Mazoku would have heard his words muttered. He slowly pulled himself from his seat, taking a few steps forward and leaning out to see Cello and Ais. A smile cracked his visage as he ran his fingers against the stone railing of the tower as he propped a hand against the underside of his chin. 'Ais. Cello. Your companionship is requested on the western most watchtower.' His words formed in the back of their minds, his words were not Dandelions. They were of something more akin to that of Dracula, but not the overdone mockery that common media flagellates one over the back with. No his words were drawn out with menace hidden underneath it with daunting tones as if sine ethereal ghost had grown angered with their presence.
He snapped his fingers, a few candles being ill-lit by a green copper blaze, his lungs taking in a deep breath as he opened the trap door, a thick haze rolling out from his maw with a sickening display of purple light that festered in the folds of grey. He crossed his legs, pulling at his cloak before turning to his paperwork, "There we go. That should set the mood." He paused, looking at the blinding sun in front of him as his features twisted, walking over to pull down some curtains which turned the inner tower as blue as night and only slightly illuminated by the flickering candles. "There we go. Perfect." He chuckled as he turned to the trap door, watching and waiting for Ais' approach.
When he arrived, which Dantalion was hedging his bets on after all this effort. Dull shades of green would meet him upon his entrance, the familiar contorting lights of garnet snuffed out in place for seethed eyes, bloodshot from the ever apparent need to blink, something he doubts he will ever get used too. The skin that surrounds the burnt out eyes it's mangled and twisted as if time had dragged him through a plane of glass and salt as his skin hangs low with the only signs of freshness being the Dagger like teeth that look as if time had never touched. Now, with a more... Corporeal form something was bound to form down there, and as such he had more pressing need for clothing and his standard bedsheet wasn't going to do its job. His old skin had formed and manifested a new cloak, far more retro in age and if one touched it, the shock of a pulse might put them on edge.
Though that was the basic shit with this form, the Draculian effort and all undermined now by paperwork and efficiency. Two arms spindly more bone than flesh stuck out, writing scribbling and doing the work far faster than he could without them, and on top of that Beta had arrived, sat in the corner at the other end scouring through the potential fruits of the Mazoku before sending them over to Alpha for a final check. They were one in the same and so far everyone Beta had chosen had been accepted with a green stamp with the Mazoku emblem blemishing the corner. Ais and Cello had been conversing when a voice suddenly entered their heads. It was unfamiliar. Not Xylo or anyone else they knew. "Gods, I hate that telepathy junk. It's not natural." Ais looked towards the castle.
"Should we go?" Cello asked, looking at the same place.
"I don't see why not. They're in the castle. They must be Mazoku. Unless we have been infiltrated. That is unlikely, though." The Arcosian began to make his way towards the castle, taking out the remote control for his ship and pressing a few buttons, the dome of the ship resealing, two beeps in quick succession signalling that it was locked and the alarm was activated. The pair made their way through the castle gates, heading towards the meeting place. Ais and Cello floated up the tower, opening up the trap door and heading inside. The scene was like something out of a haunted house. Ais almost expected cheesy haunted house music to play any second now. Ais sensed a familiar energy in the room, but the form he sensed it from was far from familiar. Ais could have sworn the energy was Dantalion's, but he couldn't be one hundred percent sure. He had only felt his energy once, and not for very long. That was when he fell at the hands of the Super Saiyan and her Majin ally.
Cello was quite familiar with the demon's energy, though. However, he remained silent, letting Ais do the talking. The Changeling lord's expression had no hint of the confusion he was feeling. He decided to play it smooth. "So, we are here now. Is there a reason we were called here? You spoke of companionship. If that is indeed what you seek, you must know I charge by the hour." Ais smirked at his joke, placing his thumb on his chin with a snicker. "I'm very expensive, by the way."

He watched as the trapdoor was drawn open, a few puffs of smoke rolling down as he crossed his legs, a small stained cup of wine rolling in his hand as he watched Ais make such a sly remark. "Oh, come now Ais. You know me better than that." He chuckled, drawing the cup to his lips and letting the wine flow, a single trickle of red rolling down the side of his chin as his dulled eyes twisted and turned between the duo. He often forgot when he had changed the only thing to ever remind him was something searing pain he couldn't put his finger on. Mainly because when he tried that he went through a little bit more pain.
Then he caught a glimpse, seeing his reflection in the wine glass he let loose a chuckle, closing his eyes for the brief time of relief before looking back at Ais. "Sorry, I often forget that this new visage is foreign." He paused, pressing a hand against the side of his face and slowly drawing it across. The sound of flesh bubbling and popping as it slowly rolled down, falling to the ground in pools of a heated mess as his Skull took shape where it was. And it moved like this for a few minutes, a slow drawn out pace as Garnet took shape where his eyes were, his brow turned to long curved horns and his lips vanished into nothing more than a layer of bone.
As it finished up, his new features drawn and now a pool of frothing flesh already stinking of Carrion laid at his feet unaware of how dire and morbid such a display was. "There we go. Trust you can now tell who I am now." He said as he placed his cup of wine onto the table, arms perched on a knee as he looked him up and down. "Now than Ais. onto the topic at hand." He paused, leaning a little in his seat as he let the tension be drawn out in the room. "Now then." He paused, a plume of haze rolling from his blank nostrils before turning to Ais and Cello. "Please. Ais regale me with how Arcose went. I trust you know I...." He paused, his words soured at the mere mention of Arcose. The damnable planet, he wished he had the capacity to destroy it in a fell swoop, but it seems he was not as powerful as he wished he was.
"Well. Left disposed of faster than most others." It hurt, what little pride he had he had just punched it in the dick. "And thanks to that, I didn't get to see how things transpired." He raised a hand up, Beta tossing a slice of paper over to him as he caught it with deft accuracy and pulled it down, he had pre-written it up, just glad he got Ais to be the one to fill him in. If he got someone like Gekido or Tomoka. Well, one would just be one screaming and the other would just never shut up. "So please. Tell me what happened on Arcose? I do need to fill in the battle report." He stated, a single pen dropping down his sleeve and between his fingers a single drop of ink pooling at the tip as he prepared to do what he imagined no one else had done yet. Ais

Ais let out a breath as the man before him was revealed to be Dantalion. "Jeez, Dantalion. Don't unnerve me like that." The Changeling visibly relaxed. "I haven't been able to sense energy for very long. I've only felt your energy once, too. For a few seconds. Until you fell that is. Glad to see you're alright, by the way. We lost Mammon. We can't lose you too." While Ais spoke like the only reason he cared was because of Dantalion's immense power, he was concerned for his safety. The demon had become a friend to the young Arcosian. While he was determined to be a hardass on the outside, he would still consider Dantalion a friend and try his best to look out for his safety.
Cello looked at Ais in surprise. He had actually learned to sense energy? On his own? "Lord Ais, when were you able to do this?"
"I learned it on Arcose. Like I said, it was boring. I guess that "listen to your soul" crap has more merit than I thought." Ais crossed his arms and looked at Cello briefly, a smirk on his lips.
"Well, glad to see some of my lessons stuck. Your father would be proud." Cello smiled at Ais in a joking way.
"Is that sarcasm I sense? My, how unlike you." Ais turned back to Dantalion. "Right. Battle report. Well, let's see... I joined up with the current ruler of Arcose, Koldar Frost as well as his General, Taiga. A Heran creature was there. Interesting fellow. More than a little annoying, though. Anyway, we responded and met with quick resistance. There was Saiyan there, but I can't remember her name. She took on the form of a giant golden ape, however. I had sensed a Majin in the palace, but incorrectly assumed she wasn't a threat at the moment. Kaza? Was that her name?" Ais thought for a moment. "Just put it down as Kaza." He cleared his throat. "Anyway, this Kaza character took advantage of our distraction and attacked us."
Ais frowned. "I nearly died. I intend to pay that Majin back in full, though. Xylo intervened just in time, though and shielded us from the attack. It is for this reason that I am standing here today. After that, things got much easier. Xylo ordered those of us gathered to engage the Majin while he took care of the monkey. He brought that egg of his though, so after it hatched, we were all pretty obsolete. With the moon gone at the hatching of Ouroboros, the Saiyan girl reverted to a regular Super Saiyan. So we were ordered to fall back and check on the other planets. I lingered for awhile and spoke to Koldar and Taiga. That was an... enlightening conversation. Wholly irrelevant to my report though. The rest of the battle I felt through energy sensing. The Saiyan got a power up of some sort. A big one. I am not entirely sure what it was, but it was even greater than when she was a giant golden monkey. After that, the Majin died. Killed by Xylo's pet, I believe. Once all was said and done, I left to check on Namek, and here we are."
Ais grinned as he finished his story. Cello had been listening as well. Ais hadn't gotten the chance to fill him in, so this did well to kill two birds with one stone.

He turned to his duplicate at the foreboding words of Mammon death. Nodding as Beta sighed and pushed himself from his seat. "Pause for one second." He started raising a finger before the Beta started to chuck what some would call a fit of terror. He panted and raved, his clothing pulsated with his demonic beat as he tossed paperwork to the side and huddled himself in the corner, his words archaic in age even fro the Demon Realm as unholy machinations spawned from his breath, trying to ease his worry only for it to be perpetuated that much further. "Sorry about that, just... Coming to terms with a worrying loss." The alpha was far different and not just because of his original face rather than his Vampiric one Beta had adorned. His features had twisted to feature morbidity rather than worry, scribbling down the note in the simple line of, Mammon has Passed.
A hand rolled as he insisted he move on, though Beta was far more inclined to simply sit in the corner and pull the emotional weight for the duo. Scrawling down the facts of the matter in brief brushes before looking back up between the duo. "Yes Gekido the Heran. Kami hope he was taken out." His garnet lights rolled in the hollows as he took a brief jab at the man. Sure he might not have been there to hear the vitriol, but that didn't mean he was away from his ire. He then took to mentioning the Great Ape, "Ah yes Vennel I think their name was. Good thing you didn't fight them. They would have crushed our entire army with a flick if they so chose to do." His jaw crossed the side as a sour expression drew across his face. "And that is not hyperbole." He stated rather darkly, maybe getting a battle report wasn't the best idea and leaving it to another less personally attached would have been better. But considering he hadn't hired anyone to fill such a role, the job was left to him.
All in all something important struck him. No one had listened to him. When he made the call for everyone to run they remained. Another might be proud, that their pride would keep them on the battlefield. But another word for pride is stupidity. "Cello. May I ask you a question." A large puff of smoke rolled out as his garnet eyes flared with passion anew. "If. Say a commanding officer of yours, sacrificed himself." He turned to Ais, making sure he understood the implications and how he had seen the scenario. "To give you some time to run. Would you let pride stand in your way? Or would you run and not let him die in vain." He turned back to Cello genuinely interested in how he would approach it. He seemed reasonable enough and would understand where he was going if he had seen such action taken.
All the while his hand scribbled, writing down his battle report.
Ais had met up with the Arcosian Empire forces of Koldar Frost, the Leader of the Empire, Taiga the ____ of the Arcosian Empire and Gekido, the Arcosian Empire's Token Mentally challenged inbreed. They encountered the duo of Vennel and Kaza. Vennel quickly decimated Dantalion who tried to buy the rest of the Forces time though they were stubborn and refused a retreat. At some point during the Struggle Mammon was defeated and annihilated by Kaza. Looking into his death is a number one priority. Xylo arrived and saved both Ais and the Rest of teh Arcosian Empire before entering a struggle between himself, Vennel and Kaza. At some point, Ouroboros was awoken and the duo made short work of the two. Casualties were heavy, reparirs are going to be in the Millions and as for where Xylo is going to next is still unkown. Ais

Ais looked on with widened eyes as the copy threw a fit at the mention of Mammon's passing. Ais hadn't interacted with Mammon at all really, so the demon's death didn't affect him that much. However, it seemed he and Dantalion had some sort of connection. Perhaps they were friends? After the Changeling lord finally finished his story, Dantalion asked Cello a very strange question. He had to think about it for a moment. The Namekian could guess the question's implications. Dantalion made the reason he was asking such a thing very clear. "Well, if it were lord Ais, I would not let him sacrifice himself. I am the one that would sacrifice himself. I am to protect Lord Ais above all else." He paused.
"However... assuming for the sake of the question that Lord Ais managed to sacrifice himself for me, I would retreat and rethink my strategy. I would not want his sacrifice to be in vain." Ais looked at Cello as he responded to Dantalion's question. He didn't quite understand the purpose of it. He knew the basic idea of what he was asking, but he wondered the purpose of the question itself. The answer of the Namekian wasn't exactly interesting though. It was an answer that Ais expected out of his bodyguard. Cello always had a strong sense of duty and he knew what his duty was; to protect Ais at all costs and if he were to fail, he would make sure the Changeling lord would be avenged. Ais eyed the clone in the corner for a moment before turning back to Dantalion.
"Tell me, how was my report? I haven't had much experience in giving them." The blue Arcosian chuckled. "Almost like you were there, was it not?"

His hand clasped underneath his chin as he nodded in agreeance. What Cello said was fair, he was loyal to the bone clearly and Ais was lucky to have him there to keep his ass from being sent to another world. "I see. Ais." He paused taking in a deep breath as a new plume of smoke rolled out from his body as he looked him over. "Next time. When the speakers say either stay or die to fight." He paused once more, letting the silence take over, the whistling candles as winds blew through with their eerie breeze as his foot tapped back and forth with a rhythmic dance. "Don't fall in with the ranks of the blind and stupid. It was essentially me telling you to get the fuck out." He stated rather dryly, their losses were grand, the Saiyans killed quite a few in their slaughter.
Of course, Dantalion helped. But he didn't need people knowing that.
He looked over the report then back to Ais, continuing for a few minutes before breathing a sigh of relief. "Okay. Totally gonna level. I have no idea, I signed up for paperwork like..." Grabbing a few sheets of recruitment paper and showing them to Ais. "I signed on for stuff like that. Not war reports. We just sorta don't have anyone to fill them out." He wanted to cry, this was far too much for him to cope with, he couldn't handle all the paperwork on Arcos and that was barely any at all compared to what he had to write up from the waterfront. Which was mainly him writing up forms to fix all the damages that had been caused by the conflict. Damnit... I wish I had died in that fight.
He clasped his head in all six arms as he looked to Ais with exacerbation ruining his features. "Ais, was that a jab I sensed?" He chuckled in response trying to make as light of the situation as he could. When he looked back on it all, the whole thing was a mess. Sure Xylo won and he was likely hyped on adrenaline. But he had the backstage crap to deal with, the dead soldier's funerals, the antagonistic attitude of Arcose and their catastrophic losses, the damage to public and private buildings and Mammon was dead. This whole scenario was them swimming up shit creek, while the rest focused on the one daisy that had fallen into the canoe that was starting to sink. Ais

Ais raised the bony plating on his brow as Dantalion basically told him not to get involved in a fight like that. Was that concern? Ais hadn't detected something like that from anyone but Cello in quite some time. He wasn't sure how that made him feel. Thankfully, Ais's train of thought was interrupted by Dantalion, who held up and showed the Changeling the very same recruitment forms he filled out when he joined the Mazoku Dominion. It seemed like it wasn't so long ago, looking back on it. Why, he felt as though he had joined up just yesterday.
As Dantalion made it even more obvious how stressed he was, Ais felt something stirring in his gut. Was this also concern? It was an interesting feeling, like he had a weight in his stomach. He even found himself wishing he could help his demon friend. Arcose sure was an interesting place in how it changed him. Or was it the battle that changed him? Ais ignored those questions for now. They would have to be revisited later. Ais instead replied to Dantalion's comment on his jab. "Yeah, it was a little one. Thought it might help the mood." He cleared his throat. "Anyway, i'm sure Cello would be happy to lend you a hand with that paperwork."
The Namekian blinked and looked at Ais. "But, my lord, i'm a warrior. I was in the warrior caste, not the secretary caste." Ais let out an exaggerated laughed at that comment.
"Have you been working on your stand-up routine as well? It's quite amusing to see what you were up to while I was gone. I wouldn't quit your day job, though. Not if that's your best material." Ais elbowed his bodyguard playfully, eliciting a groan from the former warrior caste Namekian.
"Well, Lord Ais, I would gladly lend my hand. However, it would be much more beneficial if we had your help as well. You are quite strong, lord, and no one is as fast or as smart as you." The Namekian eyed Dantalion with a look that was trying to convey to him that the Namekian was up to something. Whatever he was up to seemed to work, as Ais looked like he was thinking.
"That is quite true, Cello." He finally said, looking up at Dantalion. "It is settled then! Cello and I shall assist you in your work!" The Changeling lord nodded to himself. He realized very quickly, however, that he had no idea where to begin. He kept that to himself, though.

He looked between the two again. He was baffled, they actually wanted to do the work, he didn't even want to do the work and he loved his job. "You.... You want to try your hand at this shit?" He turned to Beta, who instantly sobered up from his misery and woe, his uppermost arm extending and grabbing two sheets of paper and passing it to Alpha, giving it a quick one over before handing it to the duo. He held betwixt his fingers sheets for a new hire and two pens to sign it, though this was only a one-day contract since he doubted after one day they would want to call it quits and leave him to his own devices.
After they had signed the paperwork, he quickly took the paper from their hands and passed it over to Beta to process it before giving him a nod of the head followed by a sigh from Beta. "Well. Congratulations Cello, Ais. You are now in the working class department." His hands clapped together in a disjointed unison as he grabbed a large pile of paperwork from behind him, stacked half his own size up before extending it to either of the duo. Boy, by the end of this day these two are gonna hate me for this. He thought to himself with a little bit of sadistic glee, but more so with pleasure from having a hefty load taken off his back.
His free arms pointed and identified the section, following down about fifty pages and stopping, "Okay, so this section here is about the clean up of Arcose, mainly rubble clearing and stuff like that." His finger trailed a few more pages down "And this section is who to call to make the repairs. Now, remember to play it tactfully, because the Mazoku doesn't have much money so we gotta get whatever discounts we can." He was then going to continue through the rest but figured that they would likely not even get that far down before quitting. He wouldn't hold it against them. His staff were all dead, that and they annoyed him to no end so he made it a specific task of his to get rid of them. Ais

"Uhhh..." Ais looked at the papers he was handed, half-listening to Dantalion as he explained what they needed to do. As he looked at his papers and Dantalion's, he was brought back to when he was a child, watching his father deal with similar paperwork. The only thing he had to say back then was the only thing he had to say now. "This is... incredibly confusing." Ais tossed the papers in the air. Cello reacted quickly, catching them before they hit the ground.
"Giving up already, Lord Ais?" Cello asked, a smirk on his face. Ais waved the Namekian off, his expression one of annoyance.
"Not giving up, just... taking a break. Yeah, that's it." He crossed his arms. Cello was looking through the papers, actually seeming like he had enough perseverance to keep going with the boring, monotonous task of figuring out Arcose's repairs. Cello had always been the responsible type. He had agreed to help Dantalion with his paperwork, and so he would keep going for the time being. After a couple of seconds, a smirk crossed Ais's lips. Cello recognized that look. He was up to something. Ais spoke directly to the original Dantalion.
"Say, why don't you join me in my break? We can have a little spar. I'm certain that with Cello and your... friends, the work can go along smoothly for a few minutes. Honestly, i've been looking forward to sparring with you since that one day. Don't worry, I won't go at full power. I'm actually wanting to get some good training in. The way things went on Arcose... well, let's just say that if the Majin and I ever meet again, I want to be strong enough to take her on." Those words left a bitter taste in the Changeling's mouth. Acknowledging one's own weakness wasn't easy. Especially with pride like Ais's. He had believed his strength was second to few. With his intense gain of power before Arcose, he believed he was strong enough to take on practically everyone. He didn't expect to be rendered so helpless. Least off all by a glob of purple bubble gum.

Well that was far faster than I thought... Dantalion's mind wandered as he watched Cello take some care in all the paperwork that had just been sent to the high heavens before descending down with all the grace of... Paper? "This really is straightforward though." Catching a single strand of wild paper and looking it over. It wasn't that confusing at first glance, economic costs, onsite lodging, tool maintenance and of course the payment of each worker. He could have cut most of that down if the home depot on Arcose was destroyed and Namek actually had one. The onsite lodging stemmed from the fact the workers, for the most part, were now out of housing thanks to his own handiwork. Note to self, don't try blowing up a planet. Good advice, if you can't get the job done don't start.
"I mean, all you have to do is look into our expenses, get as many discounts as possible and then see where to find the money." He paused putting the sheet onto the stack that Cello had, "Of course, the real issue is going to be damage control. No doubt riots are ensuring that we." He paused, bulking his chest, his face growing sour as he patronised the Patriots of Arcose, "Didn't do a good job, Let Arcose be for Arcose hub lu bub bub." His body shaking to add some comedic effect, though he really had no idea of the state of the people of Arcose. Maybe they were all dead. That would really have been a blessing.
Then he requested a break of all things. He had.... Not even a minute of work under his belt, an uproar and made a mess so far and was now asking for a break. Dantalion turned around, grabbing the paperwork that they had signed and writing down a little blurb underneath Ais, Lazy, Bad worker, doesn't understand economics. Need to forward this to possible new employers. He wrote before putting it back down, he was now his boss and was already unimpressed. Though as a friend he was a little bit more annoyed that all his work had been tossed up into the air.
"You know, normally when someone takes a break they take a break and relax." He paused, fingers interlocking in a clockwork motion as he pressed them underneath where his nose would be. "But... I suppose if that is what you want to do I can take half a break." He sighed turning to Cello, the poor man had to deal with this brat and for what? To be forced to do work his boss signed them both up to do, well at least Beta was there to keep him company. "Cello, Beta is going to stick around, keep you company and if you work hard, you just might get to be the first Employee of the month." He paused, a telepathic message sent to him directly, Person who earns Member of the Month gets a free training session in the Gravity room. That or a Spa day you choose. The spa day he made up, but considering that if he had the option of either or he would take the Spa Day, figured that the illusion of choice might be a good deal and incentive to help Cello keep up the hard work. AisOOC: Sorry this took so long, I am still sick but figured that after Five days you should at least get a post.

Ais snickered as Dantalion agreed to his sparring proposition. "Wonderful! Let's go somewhere a little more open then, shall we?" He waved to Cello as he approached the open window. "Have fun, Cello! We shall be with you shortly." At what Dantalion and his lord said, Cello nodded and continued his work. He wasn't sure what being employee of the month entailed, but it must have been something at least a little bit worth the trouble of becoming one. He thought he heard someone mention a gravity chamber. That would be quite useful to one such as him.
With his goodbye to Cello, Ais gestured for Dantalion to follow as he floated up a few feet into the air and out the window. He didn't go far. Just far enough to where the castle would be safe from their battle. He didn't want to have to explain any damages to Xylo. He hadn't seen the man angry before, but he gathered that the Mazoku lord could be quite frightening when he wished to be. Ais landed on their battlefield a mile or so away from the castle. Once Dantalion landed, Ais would turn to him. "Well, here we are, my friend. Quite a shame that the gravity chamber isn't here. But I guess we can make due with what we have." The Changeling lord put his arms down by his sides, palms open. He was inviting Dantalion to attack him. "Now then. Let's see how strong you have become. I am quite eager to see your power for myself."
[OOC] lol Don't feel pressured to post if you're sick, man. I honestly didn't expect one from you until you felt better.]

Dantalion rubbed the hollow pockets of his skull as he took his first step out the window, a heavy sigh rolling from him as for a second he fell down before a cloud of black formed around him, picking up his slack and ascending him off wards to follow behind Ais. He was going to get work done but of course, he was drawn to Ais' energy. That child like an entitlement that he seemed to have. One of these days he would tell him, no, and he really had no idea how the guy would react. Cello just followed along with everything he said as if it came as second nature to him. Dantalion agreed because he really had no one else ever to talk too with Xylo being off following which ever direction his murder-boner pointed, Rhytid he never learnt where he actually lived, Helix had yet to apologise for being an asshole and Gogmagog. Well, if he wanted a talk he would have had a better chance talking with the Radicals of Namek than Gogmagog.
He followed along, idled his arms all wrapped in his lap as he watched Ais take the effort to actually fly. Sucks to be him, he had his own little magic carpet which in no time at all was already shifting and morphing its own identity from a single floating cloud to that of a plane with a guttural choking engine that sputtered as it made an effort to sink down as if trying to purposely sabotage Dantalion before he uplifted it himself, grabbing it by the cockpit and pulling it up, asserting his dominance before watching the Arcosian descend down and following though ending in a far more severe accord.
With a bang and a crack he rolled out of his seat, the plane had crash landed though with no impact. It was just a cloud and nothing more than that as the water vapour extended down into a mist form, corrupting a small portion of land before being dragged up and contained back in Dantalion's chest. He pulled himself into a sitting motion, the hands tapping away at each other as he looked to Ais. "Well. Before we fight I need to ask you." He sighed, a single arm extended as he looked it up and down, realising that he had no idea how to fight like this, not only with the advent of six arms but with flesh and lacking size. "Do you want me to go back to normal? Also, can you regenerate yet?" He inquired wondering if he could finally use his sword for once.

Ais chuckled at Dantalion's questions, crossing his arms and looking right at the demon. "Your current form was unnerving at first, but I have gotten used to it. It matters not to me." Ais grinned and waved it off, stretching casually. "As for your second question, i'm afraid not. I haven't been able to pick up such a handy trick." He smirked at Dantalion. He had a perfect idea for a retort, one that would incorporate his new energy blade ability. "But here's my question..." He held his hand out, fingers together and his palm face down. A light blue energy formed around his hand, stopping at the wrist and forming blade-like shape.
"Can you regenerate?" Ais internally praised himself for that line. With the few seconds they had before the battle, the Arcosian lord began to strategize. The demon was a lot stronger than him. However, Ais was certain that he could beat him with some good tactics. At least, he hoped. 'A frontal assault is no good. I should go behind and low.' Ais nodded to himself before giving Dantalion one last smirk. "Let's get started." With a grunt, Ais pushed himself off the ground, using his ki to keep himself afloat and aid him in rocketing towards his opponent.
The Changeling vanished from view as he gained speed, reappearing behind Dantalion, crouched low to the ground. He would make a wide, arcing horizontal sweep with his energy blade, aiming right for the back of Dantalion's legs. He hoped that the sudden start of the battle surprised Dantalion enough to give him an edge.
