He was in need of... something. He didn't know what he needed, but he needed something. He could feel it. What was it that he wanted so badly? Was it wealth? Well, he knew he wanted that. Was it strength? He knew he wanted that to. Was it a hot saiyan chick with a badass personality and libido? Oh, he most DEFINTELY wanted that. But what he so desperately needed now, he could not say. He couldn't put the words to mouth. What exactly DID he want so badly? All the things he knew he wanted he knew he could get, but there was something he wasn't sure of... something he couldn't pinpoint. All these thoughts were within Tomoka's head as he walked outside Castle Mazoku. It had been a few days since his defeat by the hands of Mustyan, the blue man who always managed to piss him off, no matter how hard he tried. He didn't know what it was that got him so infurriated by what he said. He was sure it wasn't because he was a blue man. Tomoka didn't feel any real racial prejudices, though he would always laugh if someone made a stereotypical joke, regardless if it were about namekians, humans, saiyans, or any of the other various species out in the galaxy. What WAS it that made the blue man so... intollerable? Why did Tomoka want so badly to end the man? Was he a psychopath? Was he overly aggressive? He didn't think so. If he ever came into conflict, he'd almost always try and give his opponent another option than violence... that is, before he wound up getting every bone in his body broken by a certain Namekian. He suddenly began to think to about what he wanted again, and this time, he began to think. What was the common theme in all these situations? None of them were particularly the same, and none of them had similar people in them. None of the people involved had immediately tried to kill him, and none of them had meant to harm him from the beginning either. But than, he began to wonder... had any of the situations he had been in the last few months involved someone he could call his EQUAL?! Did any of them involve him WINNING in that situation? Did he ever come out above someone who was either weaker or equal in strength? None of them had ended that way, he realized. They had always ended with him being beaten half to death, or being forced into a situation, by people who were sometimes 10 times or even 20 times his strength. And suddenly, it all made sense. As Tomoka sat down on a nearbye bench, he realized what he needed: he needed someone who he could have any chance of DEFEATING in a fight, someone who was his equal, someone who he could best. He needed... a rival. Yes, that was it. He needed someone who he would fight against on a normal basis, someone who he could compare himself to, and vice versa. All of this, he realized, was what he needed. But not wasn't the time for that. Now, he simply sat, battlesuit and all, on a bench. Ais

[Thread PL: 15 060
Current Form: Suppressed]
Ais trudged through the grass outside the castle, grumbling to himself. He waited all this time to train under Cello and what does he tell him today? "You need to go out and socialize, Lord Ais. Find a friend around your power to train with, Lord Ais." He was stomping along, trying to find a "friend" when he spotted someone sitting at a bench clad in battle armor. Ais stopped in his tracks and looked at the mysterious figure. He had one particular quality that stood out to the Arcosian; one that made his blood boil; a tail. The man was a Saiyan. No doubt about it. Was he one of them? He wasn't aware Saiyans could join. Considering his close proximity to the castle, he wasn't the enemy, that was for sure. Ais couldn't kill him then. The Arcosian growled, looking across the way at the Saiyan. Then it hit him. He couldn't kill him, but if he got the hell beaten out of him during a training session, well, that couldn't be helped.
Ais put on a friendly smile, trying his hardest to suppress the anger within him. Ais would admit, he never really liked Saiyans. But after they took his father's spit of land, that sent him over the edge. He'd wipe them all out himself if he could. With a deep breath, Ais approached the Saiyan seated on the bench. "Good afternoon my monk--" He stopped himself, then smiled to try and cover up his mistake. "My Saiyan friend." Ais bowed graciously. "I am Lord Ais, son of the great King Kuul and hailing from the Kuul fiefdom of Planet Kabocha." He stood up straight again. "I have not had the honor of fighting a good bunch of scum-- warriors-- like your people in quite some time. I was wondering if you'd allow me the privlege." Even when Ais was trying to sound nice, his voice dripped with the venom of malice. His eyes were locked with Tomoka's, a malicious gleam in his eyes.
Ais wouldn't go into his true form during this fight. Beating down this monkey wouldn't require such measures. Besides, he might benefit more if he avoided that form for this fight. He wanted to get stronger, after all, and his suppressed form was best for that.

Tomoka had heard the footsteps, and out of curiosity, he had turned his head to see. He had suspected quite a few things. Perhaps it was someone he knew; Trumpet, a familiar face. Dantalion, the bookkeeper, that would definitely be refreshing, the one man who didn't seem to hold any personal hatred towards him, except that one time that he was in a cell, for that was probably the only bad memory he had of him. Everything else was iffy. He personally hoped it was Tabu, nothing would make things better today than to beat the shit out of that bastard. He hoped to any gods that might exist that it wasn't Mammon. If he saw Tomoka was perfectly fine, he'd probably tear his head from his shoulders. So, naturally, he turned his head to see who, and had begun waving. That is, until he saw exactly WHO he was waving to.
Tomoka had seen the namekian first, which didn't surprise him. Tall, green skinned, antenna on forehead. Been there, done that. Unfortunately, what he saw next made his hand go limp, and drop to the side. He blinked for a few seconds, and pulled his other hand up to rub his eyes. Was he... seeing this? Was this ACTUALLY in front of him? Tomoka had never seen one in the flesh, only in old propaganda videos and on the net. He had always associated them with the prissy nobles at the top of their empire, who ruled with an iron fist that they never bothered to use. He had associated them with wealth and a sense of entitlement, feelings he mixed with the upper class elite of Vegeta, who he personally wanted to see decapitated for their treatment of the saiyan peoples. So, when he saw the blue changeling before him, he wasn't exactly sure how he was to react.
And his voice... his cool, regal and rich sounding voice... for the love of the non existent gods SHUT IT OFF! WHY? WHY MUST HE HEAR THIS?! The formality, the pleasantries, it hurt to hear! He wanted to strangle the short little horned lizard, but remembered that these people could transform at any given moment and bring their power up massively, so he suppressed himself. How the hell was an ARCOSIAN on namek?! HOW?! Through all of this, Tomoka managed to put on a fake grin, his hand shaking and his left eye mostly covered by the red lens of his scouter, twitching slightly. He would notice the monkey insult, and would stand, much taller than the Arcosian, with the Mazoku crest clearly presented on part of the chestplate of his armor. His tail flicked out, than wrapped around his waste, his fake smirk plastered onto his face. "Huh, noticed the tail? Must've been harder than for me to notice the horns." Tomoka said jokingly, chuckling at his own remark. The arcosian before him was clearly restraining himself from attacking him then and there, as was Tomoka. "Well... nice to meet you, Ais... my name's Tomoka, son of a pair of low class nobodies in the slums of Vegeta who probably made me in an alley after meeting at a bar. I'd assume that you were planned though." Tomoka would say before he chuckled again. His humor wasn't to complicated, and unless you were an entitled know it all, you'd appreciate the joke.
"Privilege? Well, you surely do hold us MONKEYS in high regard, don't you? Gotta say, I haven't had the honor of fighting one of your people... ever. But, I think we should lay a few ground rules if we're gonna fight." Tomoka would say, before he crossed his arms. "Just enough blutz waves are being produced so that I could transform into a great ape tonight, but I don't plan on looking up, and even if I did, it'd take more than a few milliseconds to start the transformation, so I plan on looking away. Likewise, you aren't going to transform into one of your extra 20 forms, got it?" Tomoka asked. "That is, unless your power level is insufficient. Here, let's check..." Tomoka would say, before he clicked the button on the side of his scouter. What he read was rather unexpected... and definitely exciting.
"Woah, 15k? Impressive, I gotta say. I've had some unlucky pickings with who I've been fighting for the past few weeks. They're either all in the 10's range or in the 3x stronger range. Luckily for me, I've found someone who's just a tad under 16k, which makes us just about equals. If you want a look, you can check. Promise it isn't broken." Tomoka would say as he casually removed his scouter, tossing it over to the arcosian. "I want it back though, more and more of the men are buying these, and I'd really appreciate it if you didn't break this one. I got it for free." Tomoka stated as he remembered simply taking the device from the store, with no qualms whatsoever. "Wonderful piece of equipment, I have to say. It can take strength and turn it into a quantifiable measurement, actual numbers. Really something?" He mused, looking to see if the arcosian would clip it on for a moment and check Tomoka's strength. "But ki suppression can be a drag though. Find some broad with only 5k on her, try to spar a bit, than she turns out to be queen Zucetta!" Tomoka joked. He was finding his mood much better than it had been before. Fate had been so kind as to bring a worthy fighter to his face, who was itching to fight as much as he was. He still wanted to beat a man senseless, but nevertheless, his mood was much, much better than before. He wondered how the changeling was feeling though.

Ais raised the area on his face where his eyebrow would be. It seemed the insults went over the Saiyan's head. Except for the monkey one, thankfully. That one was his favorite insult to throw a Saiyan's way. He then started rambling on about how everyone he has fought has either been too weak or too strong, and much like that one Earth story with the bears and the girl, Ais was just right. He tossed him his scouter. It was funny. Ais had just gotten used to not having his scouter. Without a word, he put the scouter on and pressed the button on the side of the device. It sprang to life with all sorts of lights and beeps. Finally, it targeted Tomoka with a circular display on the HUD, trilling for a moment before coming back at him with a number; 16,323. Slightly higher than his own in this form. Impressive. The difference was inconsequential to him.
The Saiyan's jovial attitude was beginning to grate on the Arcosian lord's nerves. He was looking for a much less... tempered reaction. He wanted to make the Saiyan angry. Jab him in the side with a perfectly worded sleight that would spur him to hostilities. It seemed that wasn't going to happen though. He would just have to settle for making him angry during the battle. That was perfectly fine with him. When Tomoka laid down his ground rules, Ais waved him off. "Yeah, yeah, whatever. You got it." He agreed more for his own benefit. While he was confident he could beat the Saiyan if he transformed, especially if he went right to the tail, he would cause quite a bit of damage to the surrounding area.
Ais scowled briefly and tossed the scouter back to Tomoka carelessly and haphazardly. "Your power isn't bad, I suppose. I've certainly seen stronger." The Saiyan said something that piqued Ais's interest, however. He apparently fought the former Saiyan queen. She was using ki suppression. Figures. He never met any of the Saiyan royalty, but he had the "pleasure" of meeting quite a few elites in his day, not to mention when they attacked his home. Little did he know, however, that statement about fighting the Saiyan queen was just a joke. He backed up and took his armor off, preparing for the fight. He was a little excited to fight the Saiyan. More than just beating him up, Ais felt like this was his opportunity to redeem himself for how he fled during the Saiyan invasion of his father's fiefdom.

"Hey, perfectly normal. 16k isn't the highest out there, and I guess there isn't, since numbers are infinite. All I know is that we just have to keep going up." Tomoka said, and would outstretch his arm. "I'm going to need that back by the way. Like I said, pretty expensive these days." Tomoka would state, not wanting to have his scouter in the hands of a changeling for longer than he had to. His scouter was important, and losing it would mean he'd have to buy another one. Infact, he decided on another. "Ais, was it? How about you hand my scouter to your friend there? He's not going to join the fight, is he? I really don't want to wind up having my scouter broken, if you wouldn't mind." Tomoka would ask of the Arcosian. He was glad he had thought of that, as he hadn't got into such a serious one on one fight with a person before, and come out with his scouter on his head. Well, once, but he had only been hit in the chest. that time. "Now... I'm going to give you the first punch, since I've just wet you. Make it as hard or as lenient as you want, I don't care. Just don't aim for my shoulder, I'm recovering from a wound. You won't see it under the shoulder pad, trust me." Tomoka would say as he patted his armored shoulder, pretending to wince as he did. He would cock his head though, and would proceed to get into a fighting stance. Of course, the Arcosian didn't know that in all actuality, his shoulder was completely fine, and it was in all actuality his STOMACH that was the injured part of his body. Even though the dragon caste healers had saved him from death and healed the injury, it still hurt like hell. As Tomoka stood there, he began to look the arcosian up and down. He was well built, but short, as most arcosians were. He could tell that he would provide him a good fight despite his size, and Tomoka would smirk. He intended to win, and he hoped for his own sake that he did. It would be a humiliating experience if he lost to someone who had an inferior power level, even though it was a relatively short difference. He hoped that he would win, and even did a silent prayer to whichever god was listening, though he doubted any were. "Alright... ready?"Ais

Ais rolled his eyes and handed the scouter to Cello. "Hold this." Cello said nothing, simply nodded. It was quite the run of bad luck to run into a Saiyan. He hoped his master could restrain himself. Ais wasn't even trying to hide the fact that he didn't like the guy at this point. When it came to Saiyans, he could hardly even pretend to be nice. At the invitation to attack, Ais raised his eyebrow. Why would he invite him to attack and then tell him where he was injured? It was a bluff. It had to be. But Ais would play along for now. "Alright then." The Arcosian hissed, flexing his muscles. A light blue aura erupted around his body. Ais was ready to fight. When asked if he was ready, Ais brought his fists up and smirked. "Oh yeah, i'm ready." With that, Ais lunged at Tomoka to close the distance. He went for the stomach at first, but flew straight up and over the Saiyan, twisting his body around to kick him right on the shoulder blade where he indicated his injury was. He was going to win this. He was going to show this uppity monkey what he could do. No matter how strong a Saiyan could get, a Changeling was still stronger. A Changeling was far smarter. If he couldn't out-punch this Saiyan, he would out-think him. He'd have this monkey begging for mercy within two minutes. As Cello watched the battle begin, he could see the gleam of arrogance in his eyes. The Namekian sighed, disappointed. They would have to work on that. Tomoka

Tomoka would watch the Namekian take the scouter, and wonder who exactly he was. This one seemed very loyal to the changeling before him, and he would think about that for a few moments, before the Arcosian responded, his voice almost as menacing as his ki having flared up around him only a few seconds beforehand. Tomoka grinned, responding with a red aura surrounding his being as he brought himself to full strength, not holding back in the slightest. The arcosian would begin his attack by aiming towards his stomach, to which Tomoka instinctively blocked, but instead, the changeling appeared to simply jump over him and try and attack his shoulder. Tomoka smirked slightly, and quickly ducked under the Arcosian's foot, narrowly escaping a blow to the head, before Tomoka shot back up with a fist headed directly for the Arcosian's chest. If the punch hit, Tomoka would follow up with a serious of kicks and a punch from his "good" hand, and would do his best to make it look like his injury was real. If he managed to trick the Arcosian enough, he knew what would happen: the Arcosian would try to disable his arm, causing a massive amount of pain, and with that pain, would try and end the fight.
Of course, that's exactly what the arcosian would try and do. He would try and disable an arm that worked perfectly fine... with a single kick. And when Tomoka would promptly raise both hands, and vigorously punch the blue man, revealing that the hand was always in fighting shape, he would be defeated. Tomoka was on the defensive now only because he wanted to out think this arrogant little man. It was clear that he thought that Tomoka was inferior garbage, and Tomoka had dealt with people like him before. Every day the elites would do the exact same thing: call him names, spit at him, and beat the shit out of him together. Of course, Tomoka had been keeping his strength hidden away, up until a certain point, in which he revealed it all, attacking them with all their might. He would do the exact same thing in this situation. The chances of the Arcosian catching onto his plans was slim, but even if he did, it was unlikely he would remember. He knew the thrill of battle and the desire to crush one's enemies was a force that often destroyed rational thought, so his thoughts of how the saiyan would trick him would be thrown to the wayside, leaving him open for the attack of a life time.
As Tomoka thought all of this, he was letting out a series of kicks and jabs with his "good" hand, and was allowing quite a few blows to hit him as well. These attacks weren't to bad though, and he managed to strike back with equal ferocity and strength each time. Tomoka would defend himself, and when the time came, he would strike. He had used this to his advantage time and time again, and this time would be no different.

Ais and the Saiyan traded punches for a little while. He wasn't using his bad arm, which made it a lot easier to get past his guard and strike him. Still, Tomoka not using his arm confused the Arcosian. Was it truly a bluff? What was he getting at? In response to one of the Saiyan's punches, Ais threw a punch of his own and the two blows cancelled each other out with a large shockwave. Ais backflipped to put some distance between the two of them. "Well, well. I'm impressed." He said, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "You're quite strong, but let's see how fast you are." Ais chuckled darkly, and then made a vague gun shape with his thumb and index finger, looking like he was aiming at Tomoka. He paused for a second, then a smirk crossed his blue lips. The Arcosian said only one word. Not really a word but more of a sound. "Bang." Out of his index finger, a thin stream of black ki fired at incredibly fast speed. With the shimmering inside the ki, it looked like it was dotted with stars. The attack was aimed at Tomoka's chest and was coming towards him quickly. He would have only mere milliseconds to react. This was the best of Ais's signature technique, used by his father and his grandfather who knows how many generations back. The Execution Shot. He had his weaker Execution Beam, but he wasn't going to play around with this Saiyan. Some would argue that this move was a little bit of overkill. He had seen his father use the technique to destroy planets, after all. But the Arcosian Lord thought that this technique was perfect for the situation. Cello continued to watch the battle, feeling slightly nostalgic at seeing his master's signature move. He had first seen it used by Ais's father, King Kuul, to kill one of the men that was going to finish him off along with the rest of his company. To see it now used by that man's son made him feel more than a little proud. [[UP3] Execution Shot used! 100% PL = 15 060] Tomoka

Tomoka was surprised by the Changeling. He had managed to avoid most of his attacks, and had managed to land a few hits on Tomoka as well, and while they didn't cause much pain, he was still very impressed with him. Tomoka knew that this was exactly what he had needed. He needed an opponent who could give him a fight that didn't involve him being defeated in a few hits, a battle that didn't involve him getting beaten half to death every time he faced someone, or a battle in which none could even touch him. Tomoka had needed an equal... and this was it. "Hey... you aren't so bad yourself, Changeling. I gotta say, I always thought Arcosians won battles because they just hopped into their strongest form whenever things got difficult, but you... you are clearly different." Tomoka would say, panting as he did so. He was slightly fatigued, and talking at this point wasn't going to get him in any better shape. He would stand there, breathing heavily, trying to recover his strength. But than, the Arcosian would do something odd: he would raise his thumb and index finger, like a... gun? He remembered how some kids would pretend to shoot each other with their fingers, but why the hell was his opponent playing a GAME with him? Tomoka clenched his fists. No matter how cocky and irrational changelings could get, they were always condescending, always believing they were superior. But, than, the changeling would utter a single word: Bang. The ki blast would come flying towards him at an incredibly fast speed, and Tomoka was in shock for a few seconds, before he jumped out of the way. The powerful blast hit his shoulder, the shoulder pad of his armor being shattered as it was hit, and his shoulder suffering from 2nd degree burns. Tomoka let out a cry of pain, but it was nothing compared to some of the attacks he had suffered in the past. Tomoka would curse under his breathe, gritting his teeth as he stood up, clutching his shoulder with his now real "Good" arm. "Well... congratulations. You've managed to land a blow on me, and it's a big one, I gotta say." Tomoka would growl, giving the Arcosian an angry look. Tomoka was a fool for thinking that this man was just trying to play with him at this point, since both of them knew Tomoka was the stronger of the two. "I don't know how you came up with that attack, but I am impressed. VERY impressed. You'll have to teach it to me when this is all over, you really need to. But... I think it's time I show you one of my own techniques." Tomoka said between breathes, before he hovered in the air, grinning as he looked down upon the Arcosian. Tomoka was, in a way, glad that he had been hit by the attack. It would be much easier for him to fake his injury now, since he was, for the most part, injured. The attack wasn't to bad, but it hurt like hell, and his skin had literally started bubbling. He would need to pay the arcosian back... yes, he needed to do that. His own attack wasn't nearly as powerful as the Arcosian's, no. He could only draw on only a fraction of his power with this attack, but never the less, the explosion would pack a punch. Still, he would need to make sure this hit, if he wanted to do any real damage against him. Tomoka raised his hand into the air, and a tiny red ki ball began to form in his hand, and slowly began to grow, crackling with energy. He grinned, now around a hundred feet in the air, for he would need to be far away from the ground unless he wanted to be caught in the wake of the blast. The blast was now the size of his hand, for that was all the power he needed. Tomoka would pull his hand back, and shout, "NOW PREPARE FOR THE RED DEATH!" Throwing his hand down, and launching the ball at the Unsuspecting changeling at an even faster speed, crashing towards him like a meteor. If he stayed, he'd be blown to kingdom come, but even if he managed to escape, the explosion would cause large amounts of damage to hit him still. Tomoka watched the explosion, extending for a few hundred feet, before dissipating, the smoke just beginning to clear. He wasn't able to see what had happened, for the light was blinding, but he hoped that it had hit. For if it did, than things would end relatively quickly for the Arcosian. The fight, that is.
The Red Death [N1] attack used! 16,323/3= 5,441! Attempting to seriously injure, or shock, the enemy. Ais

Ais raised the bony plating where his eyebrow would be. He looked up at the Saiyan, noticing him charging up an attack. Did he think such an attack would defeat HIM? The Arcosian smirked. He'd take it head-on. Show this monkey just how hopeless his situation was. He stood confidently, puffing out his chest. Upon hearing the name of the attack, he stifled a laugh. "Oh, how cute. he called it Red-- oh shit!" All Tomoka would see was the massive explosion. The smoke was thick where the attack hit, a crater formed from the impact.
The smoke cleared slowly, Ais's form being revealed from the bottom up. "Gigi...gi..." Ais made strange sounds as he came into view. He wasn't near the crater. It seemed he understood the power of the attack just in time to dodge the brunt of it. He didn't escape entirely unscathed, however. The explosion nearly knocked him over and left him with a serious burn on his back from when he dodged. That did it. Tomoka actually hurt him. He wasn't going to hold anything back in this form against him. Oh, yes. It was going to be glorious.
Ais's face twitched in anger. "You... you hurt me. You actually hurt me." The tone was a strange mix of surprise, anger, and one might detect just a hint that Ais was impressed. He had never been hurt before. At least, not like this. This was a decent injury. Nothing to sneeze at. It would definitely affect his combat capabilities. "I'll admit, Saiyan, I underestimated you. Prepare yourself, because that will not happen again."

Tomoka would pant, as he waited for the smoke to clear. Had he... actually hit him? Did the attack ACTUALLY hurt his enemy. In fact, he suddenly became a bit concerned. If he had wound up killing an ally during training, it wouldn't end well for him, which is why he called out, "HEY! Um, Ais was it? You okay?!" He called, the smoke still thick, still next to impossible to see through. Suddenly, he heard a noise. What WAS it? It had to be from Ais he realized. YES! He was still alive! This was good news to hear, good news indeed. Tomoka grinned, and suddenly, began laughing as he came into view. "Damn, I kinda messed you up, didn't I? I mean holy crap, look at your back! It's all covered in soot and shit! You know what? Regardless of how this ends, you're gonna be getting a healthy helping of lunch from yours truly once this is over, my treat. Of course, if I die during this fight, that can't happen, but I don't think we can kill each other in the state we're currently in. I mean, my arms messed up, your back is REALLY messed up, so I don't know what we're gonna do!" Tomoka would shout, as he slowly descended to the ground, a grin on his face. He would walk over to the Arcosian now, both of them covered in cuts, bruises, and burns. "Don't get me wrong though, that attack only took around a third of my power to charge. We're probably going to have to go all out if we want this to end in the next hour or two." Tomoka stated as his smile faded. "Now, let's get serious here." Tomoka would say as he took a few steps back. Than, he let out a cry, red ki flaring up around him, charging up and up like a fire, as Tomoka brought himself to his maximum. He had holding back just a bit, both of them had been. Tomoka didn't want to wind up killing Ais, even though he was a Changeling. Why Ais had held anything back was a wonder to him though. He clearly despised Tomoka, and he clearly resented the fact that a Saiyan was on Namek. He would simply shrug these thoughts away though, and finally, stop with the little theatrics, his ki flaring out of existence. "Alright... this is as high as I can go. I'll tell you now though, that this is the best fight I've EVER been in. There's risk, there's an equal opponent, and a need to exert myself to the fullest. So, Ais, I think I owe you an apology, and a thank you. Sorry for thinking you were some stuck up prick who in every fight would simply power up to his final form and start wrecking shit, and not someone who would do a fight because he wanted to fight an equal opponent. And now, I'm gonna thank you for giving me this fight." Tomoka would state humbly, before he get into a stance. "Now... come on!" Tomoka would shout, before he jumped into the air and launched himself at the Arcosian. Tomoka had never thought a changeling could earn an inkling of respect from him... but he was wrong. AisOOC: Tomoka isn't holding back in the slightest at this point, I wonder how this will end? *grabs popcorn*

Ais's anger bubbled and boiled as Tomoka laughed at him. His eye twitched again. 'Laugh at me, will you?' Ais would accept the offer of lunch, though, once all of this was said and done. He hadn't eaten a thing today and when he doesn't eat, he gets cranky. Speaking of cranky, he was feeling that right now. This Saiyan's upbeat, friendly attitude made the Arcosian want to wring the life from him. At the indication Tomoka wasn't going to hold back, Ais smirked. Good. He wanted to take this Saiyan out at full power. Ais wasn't going to hold back either. He underestimated this Saiyan. He didn't think he was worthy to see his full power, even if it was just in his suppressed form. But now he knew. Even though he hated to admit it, this Saiyan could handle his power. Ais put his fists up. When invited to strike, Ais lunged for Tomoka. "Saiyan!" He threw a full-power punch right at his face, then one at his stomach, then a chop for the neck. He was going to keep up the pressure after those blows regardless of their success. Tomoka would have to crumble eventually. His back injury hurt with each movement of his arms, but he worked through the pain. He wouldn't lose to a Saiyan again. Not ever again. While it seemed Tomoka was having fun with the battle, this was 100% business for Ais. He had something to prove. He has grown in power a lot these past few weeks. He thought, perhaps, if his father had him on his side now, he at least might still be alive. Tomoka[OOC] Lol I look forward to it. Its been a fun battle thus far. -steals popcorn- Ais is going at full power as well. Well, full-power suppressed form

Tomoka couldn't help but grin as he watched the Arcosian leap upwards towards him, and Tomoka launched down toward him, fist raised behind his head. "Changeling!" He shouted in response to the Arcosian, bringing his knuckles against that of The Arcosians. However, he couldn't stop himself from taking a blow directly to the stomach, the wind being knocked out of him. Blood spat from his mouth as the fist connected, pain filling Tomoka's body as his true injury was heavily attacked. Tomoka let out a cry of pain, and just as he saw the chop coming towards his neck, the chop would suddenly go through what was simply an after image.
The intense pain from the punch to the gut had angered Tomoka on a subconscious level. Tomoka didn't bother to wait for the Arcosian to turn around, for he knew that was the direction he would look in when the fist came flying towards his face. As he aimed the punch at the back of his skull, Tomoka would send another punch hurtling through the air towards his chest, than he would quickly jump backwards, putting distance between the two of them, not bothering to check how effective they were. He knew that the Arcosian was mad, he could see it. The gritting teeth, the twitching eye. He was absolutely LIVID. Tomoka raised his fists once more, and he cocked his head for a moment, before he asked, "Why do you hate me?"
Already, he was afraid of what he had said. Only around 10 minutes ago, he had despised the changeling simply for being a changeling. He had hated him for being a horn headed, overly arrogant, and entitled piece of lizard meat, even though all he knew was that he was horn headed, and probably had reptilian genes. He had simply assumed that the other two traits came with the cold pun lizard package. But, he shook his head. It made no sense that he felt this way towards someone he'd never met... unless he'd been told to. No, it wasn't that. In fact, the description proved to be astonishingly accurate. Tomoka respected Ais for his strength, but it was clear Ais thought himself above him, and held his own self in high regard, and was angered beyond all belief that a Saiyan could come so close to besting him in single combat. He was angered by the fact that if Tomoka's attack from earlier had been any stronger, Ais wouldn't be able to continue fighting. Now that Tomoka thought about it, the Red Death had proven ineffective against all those he had fought before, but they had a level of power far beyond his own. If he wanted any chance of fighting someone more powerful in the future, hell, just Ais in his true form, he'd need to improve upon his attack...
But now wasn't the time for planning attack improvements, Tomoka had to do two things: beat, and try and understand, this strange, blue colored, punny named, transforming Lizard man that called himself Lord Ais, and the son of a king.
Afterimage [UT1] used!
OOC: hey look, a Saiyan asking why someone else is racially prejudiced. What a change in the narrative.

As their fists collided in midair, Ais growled and pushed back as hard as he could. With an angry roar, he completed his combo. The blow to the stomach seemed incredibly effective, a drop of the Saiyan's blood landing on his face. 'Now to finish this...!' He went for the chop, but was surprised when his hand went right through the Saiyan. Ais had not encountered an afterimage before, so it gave him pause. Enough of a pause for Tomoka to catch his breath.
Cello had been watching the battle still, though his attention had wavered until Tomoka launched his attack. At that point, he had to fly straight up to avoid the blast. If Ais hadn't been so arrogant, he might have been able to do that as well. He sighed, disappointed but not surprised. Ais needed to understand that all the strength in the world meant nothing if you lost because you underestimated your opponent.
Ais turned around. "You! What was that technique?" He pointed at Tomoka, but he received a question that made him angry. Tomoka asked why he hated him. In truth, Ais didn't hate Tomoka. He only thought he did. He truly hated Saiyans in general. Some would say it was justified. Even without the overthrow of the Kuul Clan, Saiyans were beasts and conquerors and their disposition had created quite a few enemies. Ais had a distaste for Saiyans even before that event a month ago. But they took literally everything from him. He had to start over at the very beginning.
All that work his father put in... his legacy, destroyed. Destroyed at the hands of Saiyans. Ais stomped his foot at the question. "Why!?" his eyes narrowed at Tomoka. "Because Saiyans seem awfully adept at messing things up. Peoples' homes, peoples' families... peoples' lives." While Ais spoke like he was talking about everyone, he was more talking about himself. "We work together and both fight under the same banner. It is for that reason and that reason alone that I will tolerate the presence of Saiyans. You, in particular. If you're here, you must hold some animosity towards the Saiyan empire. For that, you have earned a small, I repeat, a SMALL amount of kindness from me. That is why I am not in my final form right now. But I don't trust you. I never will."
Cello sighed when he heard Ais, watching them from above. Ais needed friends and allies. Saiyan or not. He hoped that his lord would understand that soon.

Tomoka would listen to the Arcosian, and would find his motivation... familiar. He would suddenly grimace, and give the Arcosian a look that couldn't be determined by even the greatest of expressionists. "Heh... I guess you're right about that." Tomoka said as he suddenly looked to the ground bellow him. "When I was an infant, I got shipped off planet to a random type 1 civilization near the galactic core. High gravity, but not nearly as high as Vegeta. The planet was in the perfect position of the habitable zone, and had a large moon orbiting it, but it's rotation was so slow that a full moon occured every 5 or so years. Got sent there, than I wound up killing everything on it, cept one random guy I don't know how managed to survive. You could say I am good at ruining lives: I ruined approximately 11.56 billion of them, and turned there planet into a strip mining operation." Tomoka would reply grimly.
"But I don't care about that. The strong are the ones that rule this universe. The strong are the ones that succeed. The strong are the ones that accomplish feats of honor and glory, and conquest. I know the Arcosians to hold that belief to heart, but I know for a fact that with how much revenge propaganda they've been dishing out, they refuse to take what they give on a daily basis." Tomoka stated with a firm tone in his voice, looking Ais straight in the eye.
"But I know you're not with those assholes in there high up towers on Arcose, since you're here, serving our Lord Xylo to bring down the shit stain of an empire I come from. Hell, that's something we have in common, isn't it? Both of us left our respective empires to join in the formation of a new one... wanna know what that makes us?" Tomoka asked, but answered his own question. "Pioneers. Pioneers of a whole new age." Tomoka would say, grinning as he looked at the fuming Arcosian. "Listen Changeling: when I saw you the first time, it took all my restraint not to strangle you, and I can tell you felt the same. But you proved your strength without going to whichever of your... fuck, how many forms do you have? Well, it doesn't matter. The fact that you can respect a battle when you don't rely on cheap transformations to end it in a few seconds flat, and enjoy it, earned my respect. Hell, if it came down to it, I'd be happy dying alongside you when we storm the palace on Vegeta." Tomoka would state, his smirk turning into a grin.
"I don't know you enough yet to trust you with my life, and I don't know you well enough to call you my friend, but I definitely know we aren't enemies. We're comrades in arms... and in tails." Tomoka joked, chuckling lightly as he did so. "Believe me when I say I want the same thing you do: the death of the SSE. And also to become immortal, but that's really a side note for now, something to deal with after Vegeta is under a Mazoku flag, you know?" Tomoka stated. "I just hope we can get past the whole, 'You monkey, you bad' and the, 'you changeling, you asshole.' thing. Cus' keeping up that relationship gets us nowhere. Can we AT LEAST agree on that?" Tomoka asked of the Arcosian, outstretching his hand in a handshake... still subconsciously using his 'good' hand.
"Also, the technique is called After image, I'll show it to you sometime."
