Athren couldn't help but arch his right brow up. Was he really started to sound like Anzu? Surely that COULDN'T be the case, could it? If he was he had really gotten soft. Damn, if only he could spit it out. If only he could tell her why he was acting that way towards her. He would have by now other than the fact that he had been waging a personal war instead of his head. Athren was over thinking things. He wanted her to know how he had felt but yet he didn't want to tell her and ruin the friendship that they had. "Sounding like An? Come on. I can't be that bad." He tried to brush this off with a statement of his own opinion. He then mumbled something VERY quietly as he crossed his arms tightly in front of his chest. "Sorry that I care."
With that, Kaiyo had now brought up heading back to the apartment. It really wasn't a bad idea considering that the media was surely on their way along with emergency services plus Athren didn't have anything better do to. Though even if he did he'd have given it up in a hurry. He was finally going to spend some time with Kaiyo and that had been on his bucket list. "I guess you're right. Wouldn't hurt to get out of here. Why not then. I'll join you." Though, it wouldn't be as easy as just dashing off. Since she couldn't fly at this point Athren figured he'd make a small effort here to get here attention.
He couldn't help but smile as this thought came to mind. The hell with it. He didn't have a damn thing to lose. Quickly he used his Ki and lifted himself up. He then directed himself and blasted towards Kaiyo. Flawlessly the young saiyan warrior swept his friend off her feet and carried her. "This might be a little bit quicker, don't you think?" He'd say playfully as he headed towards the apartment.
