Fan Reims body bent foward, Artickahn's blow hitting him with enough force that a bit of blood spilt out, before the force of the arcosian's punch sent him flying backwards, crashing into the ground and sliding back a few feet shortly afterwards. He struggled to breathe, he hadn't experienced such a strong attack in his entire life, never had he met anyone as strong as this alien either. Sluggishly, he stood back up, getting into a fighting stance once more as he took a deep breath, beginning to speak- "Hehehe.... You.. your pretty strong huh.. *pant*.. I really.. wasn't..." He took another deep breath- ".... Expecting that..." He finished, chuckleing a bit to himself. "Heh... Winning all the time is boreing anyways..." He silently muttered, taking another deep breath before breaking into a yell, grabbing at his arm as a ball of blue ki began to materialize in his right palm. He began pouring more energy into it, still it remained at roughly the size of a baseball. He had hoped to put much of his remaining ki into the ball, expecting that the creature might get cocky and let him launch the attack.
The Arcosian youth watched as Fan Reims tumbled away from his fist, the force sending the young teen sliding on the ground. He took this all in with a smug grin across his alien blue face. Artickahn was a bit surprised when the boy arose again, his eyebrows raised to reflect this. It looked like today he wouldn’t be disappointed 'Good' he thought to himself. Artickahn shifted from his punch, standing straight up and crossed his arms across his chest again. His face took on an even more delighted appearance as the boy started to charge an attack. So the boy could manipulate ki offensively too.
“Ah, good. I thought I might have killed you by accident there” he said with a snicker. Then, as if the starting gun went off, Artickahn was off! In the bat of an eye, his arms were uncrossed and he took off in a full sprint as his arms pumped rapidly, helping to propel his speed. Artickahn took a more curved path towards Fan Reims, so that he would be approaching at the boy’s side. The Arcosian was fast! It would undoubtedly be hard for the boy to track his movements due to the gap in power between the two. But Artickahn was hopeful that the boy would catch on and manage to block his next attack. It was a flying kick as Artickahn propelled himself in the air. His thick leg aimed at the arm that was charging the ki attack.
Fan had been slightly surprised, seeing that the alien had decided to attack instead of let him charge his attack. Reacting as quickly as he could, he disipated the ki ball he had been charging, knowing it would've just gotten in the way and used his one and only advantage, energy sensing. Useing this, he was able to roughly guess were his opponent was going to attack from, though he didn't know exactly were. What he did know was that he didn't have the time to find out, only being able to lift his arms in the direction of the arcosian's energy in an attempt to protect himself, covering his face and chest from from the arcosian's devastating kick.
Artickahn felt the heaviness against his leg. He knew before he saw it that Fan Reims managed to block his kick. Watching for a moment as Fan Reims skidded backwards from the impact. Artickahn then let his leg come down to push off the ground with, propelling him backwards a handful of feet away. “Aw, did I break your concentration?” the grin had never left his face for a moment. “I’ll give you this kid, I’ve killed many a Saiyan warriors that were weaker than you” this wasn’t a lie, Fan Reims was definitely stronger than the average Saiyan, never mind for a human. The boy might have even been a bit stronger than the average Arcosian, in their suppressed form.
The Arcosian took in a deep breath through his nostrils, letting the smell of Earth’s nature enter his body before exhaling it out his mouth. He knew the time to end this was fast approaching, but he would let the boy get another attack in. So he raised his hand and waved his fingers towards himself in the well known ‘Bring it’ hand signal. Arctickahn was relaxed, standing straight up. He wasn’t going to take a defensive stance. Underestimating his opponent like a true Arcosian.
[Thread PL: 78,483] [UT] Liquid Ki - Mist Active! Ki suppressed to 10000] Defrosch had finished work for the day. He had just been doing some deliveries for the local post office that had been understaffed as of late due to holiday times and an unfortunate sudden increase of packages and letters coming in. With one last letter accounted for, the hodge-podge crew of various temporary staff and regular staff at the post office breathed a collective sigh of relief.
They were thankful for each others dedication and teamwork, but Defrosch had garnered the most praise. He was constantly point with timely deliveries and with any moment available for him to spare he helped the others out. As he left the building, the crew cheered. 'Heh... Jeez, that was something.' Defrosch chuckled nervously to himself as he wandered away from the office, hands held behind his head as he strolled along casually.
Everything was fine.
Or it was, up until several people ran past him, though not out of fear, more like annoyance. They complained about some dopey little kid and a buffed up Arcosian fighting and causing a fuss in middle of the street. "Oh, great." Defrosch swiftly lifted off from the ground with such grace that the concrete below him remained undisturbed as he flew towards the source of the problem. "Alright you two..." In an instant Defrosch appeared between the light blue Arcosian and the Human boy. Glancing between them both, he had a scowl on his face. "You've got one chance to stop causing trouble here."
Fan would blink twice, his arms burning with pain from taking the arcosians kick. he'd look over at the stranger, noticing his exceptionally large power level, before placing his arms at his hips. the new arrival didn't seem as fazed with the aliens strength as Fan had, and so Fan just naturally assumed he was holding something back. Fan honestly wanted to challenge the new guy as well, but his power had lowered to about 3/4 of his full strength, just from fighting a bit with Artickahn, he was a battle hungry freak sure, but he knew better than to try and fight two unbelievably strong powers at the same time, despite how irritatingly tempting it was to him. "tch.... it was just getting fun too...." he'd complain, a noticeable look of annoyance on his face as he turned towards Artickahn- "lets continue this another day then eh?" he'd ask, hoping that the alien would accept his request.
Artickahn slowly turned his head to casually glance at the new arrival. Another Arcosian, no less. Go figure. The young Arcosian was a bit ticked off that he had disrupted his only form of entertainment. But perhaps he could find more stimulating entertainment from Defrosch. Aritickahn let out a single smug laugh, “Hah” before raising his hand to shoo the human boy. “Shoo, boy. Come back when you’re stronger”. The whole time he spoke to Fan Reims, he did not take his eyes off of the newly arrived Arcosian.
“You on the other hand… What brings you to this back water planet, brother?”. That statement summed up what the Arcosian Lieutenant thought about Earth and its people. He found these humans incredibly annoying. Always in a rush in their little insignificant lives. He hated Saiyans, sure, but at least he could respect their might and their culture. Humans on the other hand? Not at all. The fat and lazy masses cruise by thanks to the efforts of a select few that actually got off their asses and attained some power. He looked the Arcosian named Defrosch up and down, trying to figure out who he was. Just on the off hand case that the Arcosian had any level of notoriety (Let me know if there is a chance Artickahn would have heard of Defrosch!).
Defrosch's stance relaxed slightly. So these two were at least somewhat reasonable. That was good. First, the Human lad would get attention. "Quite ballsy of you, trying to tussle with an Arcosian. I respect the drive for a good challenge. However, if you still intend to have a match with him, you will-- at the very least-- choose a location where there are no innocent bystanders. Is that clear?" He spoke with a stern and blunt tone; these two were given a chance to stop, but if they started up trouble like this again in the future then Defrosch would likely be more forceful about it.
"The same goes for you, doubly so, in fact." Defrosch nodded to the other Arcosian, his eyes narrowing slightly for a moment. "If you want to spar with people, you will do so in a way that does not cause anyone else trouble. Should you fight with this young warrior later you will not irreversibly injure them either. Or you will answer to me."
Backwater planet? That was a warning sign... It was also almost physically painful to hear such an ignorant phrase. "You would be doing yourself a favor if you stopped underestimating all that is not of our kind." When the buff blue Arcosian called him 'brother' it almost made Defrosch keel over in disgust. That confirmed it, this stranger was one of those sorts of Arcosians. Luckily, Defrosch had held his composure. Shutting his eyes, after taking a deep calming breath, he spoke once more. "Also, don't call me 'brother'. Its really really weird and creepy."
I'd rather it be a mystery since I'd imagine Artickahn usually keeps to himself. Having heard of a vague rumor about a kind Arcosian champion/hero or something would be ok by me though!
"Yeah yeah...." He'd say, his arms behind his head as he begun walking off, probably in search of some other form of entertainment. =tch.... havent had a fight like that in a while.... oh well... guess ill just go find some rumor or something..= he decided, his figure completely disappearing from the area.

Artickahn listened to all of the heroic Arcosian’s words before saying anything himself. It seemed like he had the power to back up his talk, or at least Artickahn assumed so. He shouldn’t have left his scouter at home. Though he had no clue it would be needed. He didn’t bat an eye at Fan’s departure. Besides, now he’s found new entertainment. “Hah, really? I thought you were a human groupie? I was watching human television the other day and there was this strange man in tights who kept calling everyone brother. Bet you probably have a poster of him on your wall” he said with a smug snicker. He was even more smug than usual when he was in his True Form, probably because he doesn’t have it fully under control yet.
“As for underestimating… I don’t underestimate. I happen to respect the Saiyans, despite hating them. And nobody can deny the new Namekian power. These humans however? There isn’t much to underestimate outside of a select few”. He shrugged his shoulders, letting him arms raise around himself. His tail swayed gently as he eyed Defrosch, “Besides, the boy accosted me. I was simply minding my own business”. Sure, that wasn’t a lie. But Artickahn was all too eager to cause a little chaos.
(Well Artickahn is a Lieutenant in the AE, so I was mostly asking to see if Defrosch had any run ins with them. But a mystery is fine, I like mysteries)
Defrosch lightly shook his head, giving the younger warrior a cursory glance as he left. As weak as that boy was, he had a fiery spirit. Someone to keep an eye out for, certainly.
With his gaze back on the other Arcosian, Defrosch raised an eyebrow. Human groupie? That was a new one. The fact that this stranger actually took the time to watch something so unabashedly goofy only to take it seriously almost brought a smirk to Defrosch's face. "You said it, not me." The description that was given would match none other than the famous wrestler Tappico Barley-- or as he is most famously known in the ring-- Bulk Scroggan. His matches were probably broadcasted off-world too, all things considered.
The stranger's claim of 'never underestimating anything' caused Defrosch's other eyebrow to raise, it was clear that he didn't believe a word of it. "Ahuh... Sure. If you're planning on sticking around for whatever reason, keep an open mind and give it time. There is far more to this planet and it's people than you'd like to think."
Jatamasi strode through the West City casually. He had initially went on an errand run but decided to explore a bit and possibly quench his hunger for a good meal. Before him, he could see a couple of humans pointing off in a certain direction. Their faces expressed confusion and hints of ... fear? This certainly piqued Jatamasi's interest and he went over to question the meaning of their confusion.
Surely enough, they told Jatamasi everything. They mentioned a flying demon and some crazy blue-haired boy. Hearing of this sparked an even larger flame of interest within Jatamasi. If he had been the same boy he was a few months ago, he would have taken this as a warning.
With much ease, Jatamasi was able to find the two beings that the humans had told him about. All he had to do was follow the direction in which the humans had pointed and he'd easily be able to spot the two distinct figures. As he soared towards the two, his eyes laid upon the Arcosian. Beside him was ... another Arcosian! Terror began to fill his heart as he knew something was bound to go awry if he were to encounter the two beings. Jatamasi frequently fought with races with aggressive tendecies such as the Arcosians.
Suddenly, something inside Jatamasi began to calm him down. It was a warm feeling, almost as if he had gone back into the womb of his mother. Along with this warm feeling, Jatamasi's confidence began to soar as he now landed behind the Arcosian.
He had no intentions on fighting either of the two before him ... unless provoked. "Hiya!"
