(@misfortune, here's the thread!) ( What's being played in practice!) (Thread PL: 176, 408) Dusk had been settling upon the sandy planet's grand capital. Lights from its various skyscrapers came a light, making it appear as a shiny gem amidst the massive desert. Among the many lights, there stood a lone building, its height standing up to a good 5 stories tall with a dark walnut exterior that had been painted black. The front of the store was adorned with a brightly lit sign with a painting off countless cherries across a hilly green landscape, with human individuals of ages long past relaxing on wood chairs across a table from one another. Above this, in red neon light surrounded by green, read the name, 'The Cherry Valley Loft.' In front this wooden building, Alaistair stood, in a black suit that contoured to his slender form, and a red tie sported to match his pinkish red skin. His pants were held up by a belt buckle that had metal slab that looked to be a separate piece that could move, if the belt were around Alaistair's waist. He'd been preparing the Loft for a night with some fresh customers to come in, so that he could get some cash flow coming and be able to pay for the three demons of the Loft. After spending time in the desert and then relaxing in the confines of the Loft in a much more pleasant world, they'd been wanting to get some cash to continue working together! Arthus had been taking himself to the expanded Lounge, playing a sort of jazz meets rock song with himself on the drums, an electric piano, his favorite saxophone of black and white, and on the microphone with a bass guitar in hand! He'd split himself into 4 individuals today, to get a little practice in before providing some ambiance for Alaistair, Denim, Denim's 'husband-to-be', and the three triplets that caught his eye. Arthus had been the entertainer of the group at this point of his life, as well as the educated traveller. The were each dressed in a black vest with matching pants and a white dress long sleeve dress shirt underneath, with their sleeves rolled up to show their slightly hairy red arms. Meanwhile, Dorgia had been napping in the front front, having melded himself into the inside of the door with his old-looking ears appearing as butterflies on the other side of the door, to hear for Alaistair and his guests. Eres, the pink haired demoness, had been tending carefully to the massive counter, which had been a large fallen tree that had been smoothed out flatly with much of its round shape remaining. "Where is she," Alaistair muttered, arms behind his back as he looked around. Evening was afoot, and the time was nearing for them to be meeting, "I've not been hiding my power, so she should be able to find me... Unless it's the drab location? Hmm..."(Sorry for the shortness of this. I didn't want to over do the details on the loft in the first post!)

Thread Power Level: 79,942 PL, Ki Suppression Active, Power Level Set to 10,000 PL, Ino's Power Level: 5000 PL
It wasn't hard to find Alaistair's 'Cherry Valley Loft' simply because Denim and her group had been staying outside it since earlier in the day. They had no ship to go back to anymore (that had disappeared some time after she died so because of this insurers had insured loss) thus living near here was the best she could do on this dusty rock. There was a glistening city in the distance and for a few hours after her talks with Alaistair and Plato she sent her three minions Onee, Ino, and Aki to grab supplies. Food, water, some blankets, and of course the all important dresses they were going to be wearing tonight.
After doing this she spoke with Plaid and had him relinquish his ring to her so she could re-fit it and also gave him explicit instructions to stay around their new camp site four hundred yards from Alaistair's ship and guard it. She'd take the rings with her and give them to the middle sister Ino and invite her to come with her to tonight's meal. Denim would then "suit up", as she called it, and step towards black walnut building of wood that towered five stories above her head. There was a lit sign attached to the archway and a picture of red and green cherry fields to bring out the building's name. She could hear music coming from inside too and despite never having heard Alaistair play thought it was good for whoever it was that was playing.
She finally took a step inside and in better lighting revealed that she was wearing a floor-length, dark blue dress with spaghetti straps that had cuts long cuts in them along the thighs that revealed them quite clearly to onlookers. She also had both ruby rings on her right hand's index and ring finger. Ino came with her and wore a similar dress except it was red and she had no rings on her hand. Her appearance wasn't important though since she was only to watch the transpiring events from the establishment's entrance. Denim waltzed past the attendants Alaistair had set up in their tuxedos and smiled at them. If they looked closely they'd see she was wearing three-inch heels that were made from clear glass. All expenses she still had, of course, going to this dinner party.
It wasn't hard to miss the red skinned demon as she waltzed past his lackies and found him waiting for her right next to entry way in a black suit with a red tie. "I didn't have to travel far..." Denim commented upon her approach towards him, "I'm sorry I'm late but I wanted to get changed first." Denim hoped this would get his attention she didn't have her power level turned all the way up but clearly he did. She could feel it from a good way away, which is how she found the place. He'd clearly see the blue demon Ino with her by the door in dress apparel too if he looked.

( Song changing up to this, the lead guitar being replaced by saxophone here.) Clicking heels touched upon Alaistair's ears, attracting his attention. In dress blue and red of matching design, Denim and one of her companions approached in a waltzing way. She walked up to Alaistair, apologizing for her delay whilst her blue companion remained silent! However, Alaistair kept his eyes to her with a smile to greet her, as he complimented, "And the delay is surely worth it, Ms. Deni- I mean Mrs. Denim! Pardon that...""The guests have arrived, everyone," Alaistair alerted the 3 demons of the Loft. As soon as that happened, the markings upon the door behind Alaistair vanished into the door, as the song was changed up. The doors opened up, with the elderly looking crag demon standing behind it, laminated menus in hand next to a podium right in middle of the foyer's red rugged floor! "Good evening, ladies, from us to you of the Cherry Valley Loft," the stoney man in an esteemed manner, "Today's special is a Konatsian variation of chicken souvlaki with imported Earth garlic to create a tangy sauce. We've also many ingredients from across the galaxy, as well as drinks from Earth to Kanassa! We've the option to serve you in our bar and restaurant section of the Loft to my right, or you may have yourselves be served in the open lounge, where Arthus is currently playing. I, Dorgia, will be your server today!"Alaistair held up his hand to her, as he quipped, "Shall we have that dinner, ladies?"(@misfortune , back to you! )

"It's all right, I suppose I'm not a Ms. and really a Mrs. now thanks to my declared intentions before," Denim stated letting her hands rest in front just above her waist. She smiled at him and secretly wished she hadn't said anything on that when he contacted her before. Not only had it been a bit embarrassing but she wasn't sure she was ready for marriage fully yet despite all that happened.
She let this hang in the back of her mind as he vanished yet invited her in by reappearing near an opening door with an elder demon holding next to him holding menus. This demon spoke of the food to be served which caused her to lick her lips with satisfaction. She normally wasn't like this when it came to food but when she had been dead a month or more the food down in Hell just wasn't the same as in the Living World.
She could see Ino step up next to her as Alaistair held out his hand and witnessed the blue skinned girl's cheeks turn purple. That was kind of odd since in a human it hinted at definite suffocation occurring but for Ino she seemed fine as she took his hand. Denim could clearly see that she might have a liking towards the man causing Denim to also grasp his hand swiftly. The reason being that before her faulty words earlier she had planned to: have Alaistair kill Plaid, use Alaistair to revive her future daughter, and from this gain favor with him by making future Silk a tool for his conquest.
Sadly, her efforts were befuddled even initially when she tried to use the young half Saiyan for her own goals. She'd failed to conquer Konats and as a result both died and she was in dire need of monetary funding for it. The reason being her assests had been wasted to regain her husband's trust and force the ogre girl she was with to work with her along with her sisters. She could have killed her without any effort but giving people money was always the nicer gesture. Alaistair certainly wouldn't want this. He already had money if he could afford this entire building and its and from the sounds of it his power was astounding so having her around made her more like his lackey. It wasn't something she wanted to be permanent but with Plato in the mix vying for his help she knew it could be possibly she'd be nothing more to him then hired help or rather free help as it were. She would let him lead her to any table he had set up in the place as the music played over head and wait for her to be seated by him as was customary at these dinner events.

Denim didn't seem to mind being called miss, despite the proposal she made known earlier. Seeing how she was, Alaistair was wondering if she really did want to be with Plaid, if he, for that matter, was just someone who took advantage of her. The blue ogre girl was making her way to touching upon Alaistair's hand, when Denim quickly lashed for it! The Devil looked to her, stating, "A bit feisty today, are we? Believe me, though, there's no need for that."
Alaistair guided them inside, telling Dorgia, "I think we'll sit a bit away from the music for now. Arthus can get a bit loud when he gets his groove going!"
"Very well! Since there's 3 of you, let's have you seated at the round table. Please follow me."
The 3 would be guided to a table more towards the back that had 4 chairs around it, obviously meant for a party of 4. The Devil made his way to Denim's chair, pulling the chair back for her to have her seat, before taking his own chair. Meanwhile, Dorgia pulled the chair back for the blue ogre, allowing her to seat with them too. Afterwards, he'd put the menus down upon the slick maple table in front of each and lastly removed the 4th chair, so they could sit in a manner comfortable to them.
A digital pad appeared from Dorgia's pocket to his hand, with a stylus pen as he requested, "Now, what would you like to first drink?"
"Hmm... I'm thinking a small red Sangria, with orange, lime, and apple, if possible," Alaistair ordered inquisitively, his legs crossed under the table and hands resting on the edge of the table. He looked to the other two, asking, "What's your desired drink?"
"Alright, 1 red small red Sangria," Dorgia read aloud, looking to Denim and Ino with his eyebrows perked up!

"I'm sorry..." Denim stated placing her hands in her lap, "I, well, I don't want her to get overly romantic annd have the wrong ideas. You said you were like 900,000 or 1,000,000 years old?" Denim smirked as she guided them inside to a table. Denim blushed and so did Ino. Ino didn't like her new boss telling her what to do since this gentleman to her had been handsome up until she revealed his real age right then. Denim, on the other hand, wasn't sure (like Alaistair thought) if she liked someone like Plaid (in spite of all they'd been through) or the demon lord himself.
Dorgia, the boisterous one they met at the entrance seated them quickly inside. once at the table a chair ended up removed and Denim mentally commented to herself, "Perhaps I should have brought one of the other girls too."
She watched Dorgia's hands at work with a handheld pad and stated, "I want a coke with red wine in it. It some drink with a rather unique name, however, it's slipped the tongue."
"I'll have some water..." Ino muttered as she took a seat across from the two. It wasn't her invitation after all for drinks and a meal. She was only here to observe after all and potentially help Denim stay out of trouble. Dorgia in the meantime could hopefully though stem some of her worries by perhaps going over to the long bar a few feet away from them and getting them the drinks they asked for. She wasn't certain after all what her mistress wanted her here for but what she thought before was potentially the greatest reason for her being here.
Alaistair had been the one to really ask them what they wanted, but with the way Dorgia's raised eyebrows loomed back at them from above the bridge of his nose Denim couldn't help but smile. It was rather goofy. She turned to Alaistair though and stated, "I really like how this is already turning out. I want to get down to business and say right away that I like all that you have done so far for me. I really am grateful that you want to have me work for you. The issue though is I can't feel like I could until I have all my family here with me. After all, more then half of them I'm sure will be more then capable of blowing up planets some day. It's something I expect you want from me if I join you."
She'd lean forward a bit with a slight hunch in her shoulders and add, "I need only three things to be happy, one, both versions of my daughter back. I have spoken of both a present and future version of her. One is on Earth and the other is dead. It's likely I'll never ever have to interact with the present one very much but in order to make sure she stays a liable weapon we can use I need her at arm's length. Then again, if the present version of her is in the hands of my rival I find that the future version of her if dead or alive in some unaltered future is going to... not be evil. So we need to solve that, two, we also need to find a large space for the people I brought, and three, I'm going to need training equipment again. I spent all my Zeni you know in order to hire my lover to work for me and this girl next to me and her sisters. I've found that even though I sold all of my prior gear to pay for them I've potentially come out with a gain in the long run and need to keep that going."

"A Calimocho is what you speak of, Madam," Dorgia retorted, a smile on his face as he wrote it down. With Ino asking for water, he stated with poked humor, "And one truly diluted drink.. A water, of course! I will be back in a few minutes with your drinks."
The pad was hidden inside the crag demon's jacket, before he slipped into the floor in a ink-like blot quite similar to the front door's and arrived at the other side of the bar, getting the drinks prepared for each of them. Denim admitted to enjoying herself, thanking the Devil for the hospitality, before mentioning the destruction of planets... As well as Alaistair's personal age, which Dorgia snickered at! The Devil did the same, telling them, "Well, when you've reach my age, you tend to not care much about the differences of ages with individuals, and don't fret about not bringing the family, for there's always time for that! As for my age... Progressive science, and altering magics tend to do that to you, which is partly, and very minutely mind you, is why I prefer to not destroy planets... Not unless I can't reason with the inhabitants to some degree!"
Alaistair laughed a bit at that, clasping both hands as he remained straightly composed. Denim added on she needed her daughter alive, from both timelines. Even though she'd not been familiar fully with the version from the future, she cared for her, and that care was something Alaistair wanted in all of those working with him! He couldn't stay entirely made at Xylo for that same sentiment, too. She told her that her rival had her present child in possession, wanting to use her as a weapon to fulfill, 'evil deeds.' This alone was one of the 3 things she felt she needed.
He listened tentatively to Denim's further requests. A place to stay for her group was important, of course, and she wanted training equipment! She was one to invest in long term goals, claiming to have sold her gear previously to hire both her husband and the triplets with her. The Devil told her, "As long as you work with me, I assure you that you'll be able to make some great advances, Denim. I'm a man who makes long term plans and promises that I do intend to uphold!"
The Devil gestured to all around the building, looking every as he told her, "Look at the building you're in right now. This place comes with various parts of equipment that is of great importance to one's advancement! One's own personal desires and needs. Right now, I'd say it's not nearly in full operation, but I plan to invest much more into this building. It'll be a place unlike any the galaxy has seen before! I've even been thinking about a casino attachment to the Loft, so that there'll be an enormous influx of cash to the building, and not to mention towards the various rooms to rest in..."
"Pardon the interruption," Dorgia interrupted, coming over with a large goblet filled with fruits and red liquor, a tall glass filled a little below the brim with dark red wine and coke with a slitted lime upon it, and a glass of water with a lemon. He handed out each drink carefully, being sure each didn't spill upon the table as he slid them over to each person! He picked the tray up afterwards, asking, "Shall we get to the food now or will you be needing some more time to decide?"
"Hmm... I'll personally be needing more time, Mr. Dorgia. What of you two, ladies?"

"I'm glad to hear that; I really do want to work with you now." Denim answered leaning back from the table slightly before grabbing her drink. She sipped it and felt the perfect blend of sugar and wine re-in-vigor her body as it went down her throat. She could also feel the stuff cling to her mouth as it blanched her skin with a light red hue.
She looked to Dorgia after his question though and then down at her menu which she had left on the table unopened. She'd flip through it quickly though with her free hand and point to a butter lettuce salad covered in pear nectar, balsamic vinegar, and diced olives. This was on a page specifically for salads made in the Cherry Loft Valley restaurant it seemed. Anyway, the side for this salad was a grated goat cheese, tomatoes, and cashews. She didn't know how much it cost or how it tasted but since Alaistair pretty much owned the place she figured he'd pay for it as well as ensure the quality of it. She had heard him say it after all, however, it appeared he was still busy looking at the list of menu options itself.
"I'd like the salad I'm pointing at. I hope that's all right if that's all I get. I believe the food we had with Plato earlier filled me up, and I don't want to in-debt myself any further then I already have." She state Dorgia.
Her blue eyes then flashed and turned back to the demon lord as he continued to read his menu, "Alaistair, if I may go in more depth to our conversation before. I may have jumped the gun when saying I want my future daughter back. Sitting here I realize I can't build a future with her since I don't know what she's ever done with her life. Rather then revive her I think I'd like to tell you of something more amazing that may help us both. There's apparently something that the Arcosians are looking for maybe on Namek or elsewhere. I think it's of wondrous origin since they wanted me to find a being named L-Heim with information on it. If it can grant great things to people I suppose I could just wish for my present daughter Silk to be turned into an older, more combat-ready girl then she is. Something that may make her different then that acclaimed future daughter of mine, but something more valuable to us both."

(Hey @misfortune! Just a little ooc context: It's been a few days since we last met. In addition, I came up with this detail about the Loft: Compared to the outside, the inside of the Loft is definitely larger.)
"A lady of taste you are, Ma'am! You'd get along handsomely with our chef, Eres! What would the two of you like?"
Alaistair dragged his finger down the menu, having gone to the 'sandwiches' section. He stammered, weighing his options, "I'd like myself the... Gyro sandwich, with a side of caesar salad, with robusto dressing."
Dorgia jotted the order down, waiting for the blue demoness to tap up the menu. Meanwhile, Alaistair focused back to Denim who wanted to talk about her supposed daughter from the future, thinking she couldn't develop a future with her. She wanted Alaistair to assist on it, as the Arcosian Empire had apparently charged her with finding on Namek. As she went into further detail, the Devil frowned more notably. It only became clear what the girl spoke of when she mentioned wishing: the Dragon Balls.
He sighed in response, clutching the large goblet and plucked a round chunk apple from near the surface. Tossing the apple piece in his mouth, Alaistair acknowledged in a rather painstaking manner, "The Dragon Balls... They want you to find the Dragon Balls."
Alaistair paused and sipped the beverage through a straw. With a swallow, he continued, telling her dauntingly, "They are no longer in operation, currently... Not that they should exist to begin with, but the Namekians made them to create a pact with the 'Dragon'. They are dangerous..!"
He looked to Denim, holding out his hand lazily pointing to her with his index finger as he asked, "I don't believe you ever told me how you came to work with the Arcosian Empire? How did a lady like yourself come to it?"

Ino herself looked at the menu herself but didn't see anything on it she liked she had stayed silent for a bit since this was Denim's show, however, Ino had become a bit frustrated because really all Denim ever wanted to talk about was reviving her child. She'd heard already to an extent that the child she wanted to revive was alive in a present form and that this child's future form had come here to help her mother but Denim in some crazy scheme had thrown her out onto the planet and gotten her killed in a death battle they both participated in and died in. Now she was stupidly trying to make some sort of redemption towards the girl. It wasn't a smart move since frankly that girl probably wouldn't want that.
She sighed, focused on the menu and stated, "I'll have nothing on the menu for myself. But have Eres bring out a second salad for my lady. She's extra hungry today." Her eyes glared fiercely at Dorgia simply because she was a bit irritated at her boss for the above and a few small other things (like having knowledge of the Dragon Balls without knowing what they were).
Denim smiled at Alaistair then answered him, "Do pray tell what are these Dragon Balls?" Her hands clasped together as she rested them next to a glass of the wine she set back down on the table.e Her eyes were full of expectation, however, she cut this short when he asked about the Arcosian Empire and frowned.
"Well, if you must know how I joined them and got them to tell me this. I happened to report to their current leader while in the depths of Hell. I figured since he wasn't alive in the universe somewhere he might be dead. I got lucky to find him down there and he told me where they were. Yet as to how I joined his little group, I, I didn't do that. A female Arcosian named Polara invited me, however, since she never gave me instructions on what to do or find the head honcho of the group to work in their best efforts I kind of just kept my distance from them and just picked up on their information when I felt like looking for it. He actually said he was going to reprimand her for being a bit incompetent in telling me what I needed to do for the group."
Denim shrugged her shoulders then looked to Ino who was watching her. "Why don't you join in the conversation here, huh?" If there was one thing about Denim that was starting to show she'd become rather chatty and a bit more radiant in the spotlight she was under.
"I don't want to... I'm only here to observe you but if I must make an observation I have to say your wish is stupid. You already have a little girl in this present time you could care for but it seems like you abandoned her and only want to love or rather abuse the future version of this same girl. On top of that you're telling out this kind of information when we don't know what Mr. Alaistair fully wants to do with those wishes the Dragon Balls may grant. Finally, I believe... you don't even need to waste your time wishing to revive her. I almost feel you'll have your hands full soon enough. You don't even realize it, but you may be pregnant again. You need to focus on the present and not the future and take care of what you have."
This set of words made Denim slam her fists on the table. She growled at Ino then realized she may be right. It was likely better to pick up a child she already had from the place she left her at then go on some silly goose chase to revive one who was one and the same. She grit her teeth though at the ogre though because to blatantly point this out made her realize she herself was naive and obsessed and clearly hadn't been paying attention to anything (which she had). She looked back at Alaistair and uttered, "Cancel the second salad."
"Keep the second salad."
"Cancel it..."
"Keep-" Ino said she however didn't get to speak for long as Denim stood up out of her chair and slipped behind her at impossible speeds. Her hand went to the woman's throat and before she could react Denim attempted to crush her wind pipe just enough to knock her out. Of course by this point Alaistair might have stepped in but that was up to him whether to do. If he didn't in seconds Ino would sag back in her chair in an unconscious state and Denim would say, "Just keep the second salad. I do feel extra hungry today, and a bit forgetful so maybe I am pregnant again."
She didn't like her subordinates talking back to her. They were only meat shields, tools of conquest, and not to disrespect her so very often as she felt Ino and her sisters might end up doing in the future. That was what she wanted from her minions.

Denim did wish to onow how Alaistair knew about the Dragon balls, but she decided to trade some information about her involvement! Alaistair sipped his sangria a bit more, as she explained her involvement. She met them in HFIL, and during that time, had acquired more vague information about the dragon balls, as they themselves didn't know about them.
After the explanation, Alaistair tried to speak if the person formerly in charge, but before he could, an argument ensued between the reluctant Ino and the aggressive Denim! Dorgia was having to take a step back as he was told to keep and remove the 2nd salad! Alaistair waved him off, messaging him personally, "Have the food for us 2 be brought. It is about to get nasty a-"
Just as Alaistair was predicting it, Denim rushed outta her seat and attempted to crush Ino's windpipe! The Devil rushed behind her, his tail being rushed in front of Denim's hand, as he placed his own firmly above Denim's, using his strength to straighten her up. He suggested to Denim, even as she was trying to crush his tail, "Please don't punish her here. This is a place for being able to talk and make some middleground. She, however, shouldn't have said her thoughts so harshly!"
A glare was shot to Ino, boared through her head with his commanding aura! He continued, "Apologies over food are needed right now... Dorgia, I am thinking a large steak to be shared with the table is in order here! Please have Eres whip up that giant lizard steak."
"A-agreed," the craggy demon spoke.
The Devil then inquired to her, "I will fill you in how I've received much of the knowledge I have now, if you would like. It is disjointed, due to what had been done to me to make me as I am, but I assure you it is genuine. First, I will need my tail back and then you seated."

Denim let go of Ino in an instant the moment she felt his tail upon her first. She growled at the ogre who now nearly collapsed on the floor holding her own throat. Denim, without a thought or glance more at her, went and sat back down at the table. She picked up her drink and after reaching for it and quickly downed it.
"Fine... I'll apologize," Ino stated feeling Alaistair's gaze upon her and her breath return to her. "I-I was just joking around and my boss isn't pregnant or stupid or anything all right..." Her eyes gazed to Denim's unhappy face as she rose from the ground and sat back in her seat.
To Ino's shock Denim then uttered, "I don't like this apology but I can sense I'm not pregnant and know I'm not stupid like you say. And, I don't like this evening one bit after all that's happened. I'm going to force myself to forget everything that happened here and you two can eat the steak that's coming." Likely before Alaistair could react, Denim then took her own drinking glass and slammed it into her own forehead with enough force not to kill her but to certainly mess with her memories. If Alaistair was unsuccessful in stopping her shards of glass would hit her face and knock her out erasing memories of Denim's meeting with the Future Silk ever. What she would remember is going to Konats to conquer it yet fail. This resulting in her death and thereby meeting with Plaid later and escaping alongside the three ogres after having captured them herself. She would remember she had a daughter but that would be a baby daughter she abandoned for being weak and thereby not want to go looking for her.

Alaistair's tail was released, and a sigh of relief was made. Ino wasn't too capable wording her apology well, probably due to the relationship she and her sisters had with Denim. Denim didn't appreciate it either, despite having sat down to drink. She tried to slam her glass upon her head after chugging the whole thing, to which the Devil rushed over, grabbing her wrist and beckoning, "You're clearly unhappy as you are currently, but that doesn't mean it's your fault and reason to hurt yourself, Denim! Please don't harm yourself..."
The Devil tightened his grip around her wrist, which would attempt to loosen the grip on her glass so he could pull it out of her grip. Afterwards, he'd kneel down with one knee, a sincere look on his face as he told her, "You're a mother and you at least want what's best for this girl who claims herself your daughter... That's an admirable trait of life I enjoy you're showing. However, you've been treated poorly and it's led you down a path you shouldn't be doing. I can assist you with both daughters, but to do that, I need you level headed. Especially for when we commit to conquering this world and acquire the vengeance you desire! Consider this a promise to you."

"Hmph," Ino uttered quickly finding neither liked her apology. She had gotten up from the floor and now quickly made her way to the exit of the building. She was sure with her ability to easily acclimate to Other World with a new body and travel the Living and Other World like a two way street she could recognize and identify life forms whether newly dead or alive. She was pretty sure that Denim had been pregnant when she made her assumption but that was all a ploy to test her boss' anger levels. Now she realized her boss was kind of weakling despite being so strong. She couldn't figure why after being knocked out that Denim had taken them with her but her reasons for doing so included possibly gaining a ticket out of Hell quicker if she died, secrets to help her in Hell, or just simply to torment the weak guards of a weak place by dragging them along with her.
Now Ino knew her boss had taken them to provide herself with extreme levels of moral support. Yet nobody but the dumb demon king was helping her. As a result, Ino saw no reason to stick around and simply left to do the one thing Denim would want her to do which was to guard their limited supplies. The woman was dirt poor and on a foreign world with no safety net. Not that it mattered to Ino, but it would matter to here sisters who as the middle sister she had to take care of and keep in check.
Denim, in the meantime, would spin around and place her chin on the table. Her slumped figure began to sob uttering, "I have been used from day one of my adventures. I was called off my planet to come here by a mysterious phone call. I should have stayed on Earth but I didn't because I really wanted to write an interesting book about martial arts and space has some of the best fighters, anyway, I kind of blew that. Then got abandoned on an empty space rock when my ship failed, met Plaid, and later realized I was pregnant after escaping. Then I met with the Kami awful Arcosian Empire who agreed to help me but didn't necessarily to the full extent I wanted to. They were a disorganized bunch so I came back here to conquer the place after traveling to Earth and Namek for a scenery change. I met my future daughter along the way and now after dying here and coming back with the bunch of losers I have I only find I'm the loser!"

Ino ended up leaving the Loft in the midst the ruckus. Dorgia peeked out of the kitchen to see Alaistair pulling the glass that Denim had in her hand to the side and then pulling over Ino's chair. Eres was roiling that the guest Alaistair brought startled Dorgia, but the craggy demon had insisted he was okay, and that Alaistair had things.
At the table, Alaistair cusped Denim's hand with his own, a solemn expression upon it as Denim ended up speaking a bit about herself. She was an aspiring author? The thought, to Alaistair, was simply precious, as she basically was wanting to be an archiver of the martial arts!
He put his hand on her back, rubbing it as he told her, "It'll be alright, Denim. You're just a little lost at the moment... You know, you're the first person outside the people in this building who've actually stated a goal that has been so lowkey and quite admirable!"
He leaned in, to get within sight of the teary Denim, before asking her, "What if you were to receive a business that involved studying and writing about the Martial Arts, after Konats is taken over? Would you like that, as part of the deal?"
