"tch... Not even 10 seconds into this conversation and im already getting death threats... Well.. let's hear it.. why should I forcibly join you? Any reasons for me to or are ya just evil like that?" He'd ask curiously, as he looked around the "cave", his energy senses picking up another power approaching. He decided to keep an eye on this new arrival, looking over at the human and noticing his power, commenting- "wow... pretty strong aren't ya..."
He'd quickly ready himself however, his energy sense tingling as the new power arrived, seemingly moving to grab at Fan with great speed. He'd hope that with fan's small apparent unawareness of the creature that the creature wouldn't use his full strength in his initial attack, and that he'd instead be slightly shocked by Fan's sudden movements. With barely any time remaining, the creatures tail would fly past Fan's shoulder, leaving a cut as he jumped back, Landing further inside the ice cave with a somewhat nervous grin on his face. "Sheesh.. is everybody around here some bloodthirsty monster or something!"
I realize that this post might be a bit powergamey, but this alright with you fin? Quick note : not a Saiyan

Verst considered the new figure's words, they rang true, maybe he'd been a bit overagressive, he didn't know if this person was a potential friend or enemy, and experience defaulted to the latter. "Apologies, for my brash response. I thought you to be an intruder. Please approach so we might speak without raising our voices." Verst nodded towards Maxxie, "...and yes Maxxie, just a thin one for now."Then a thin purple figure struck out towards Fan.
"I don't like people ATTEMPTING TO INJURE MY GUESTS!" Verst's voice escalated as he saw this creature, with no apparent sense of honor or dignity strike out towards Fan. "See how you like it!"

Fin's eyes widened as he noticed the two other inhabitants inside of the cave. One appeared to be a human female and another seemed to be an Arcosian. Very interesting, Fin thought to himself as he turned to walk forward into the cave. The Arcosian, however, seemed to have other ideas as he shot a large ki beam toward Fin. He grunted and walked right into the blast, tanking half of its damage with his PL, but the other half ravaging his body. Fin, after the dust cleared, winced in pain. He had underestimated the power of Arcosians. Hot steam rose up from Fin as he continued his advance forward, until he was right in front of the Arcosian. Compared to Fin, he was quite a few inches shorter, as his height was at about 6'7. He grinned his toothless grin at Verst. "You know, I do have your cells in my biological make-up already, but I haven't really gotten the opportunity to meet one your kind firsthand." Hoping that he had been focused on what he was trying to say, he would try to strike out with speed, grabbing him by the throat. He'd exercise his grip on his neck, and then if uninterrupted, he'd place his hand on his palm. Fin would whisper only one word in his ear, "Goodbye." A blast would then pierce through Verst, if again, he was uninterrupted. It would not directly pierce through the skin, but it would bake most of his insides to the point of needing some sort of medical attention. Fin would then drop his lifeless body to the ground, showing what seemed to be disgust in his expression. "Greatest race in all of the universe..how disappointing."
(Fine with the slight god mod, as I also kinda use it in this post! XD) |

If we are using the site's official battle system, Fin is KO'd at this point (a blast that is 150% of your pl is a KO), since he thought he could just tank the attack and not use a defense. Also, again, if we are using the battle system, Fin won't have caused any major damage to Verst (especially not enough to be dropping his 'lifeless' body to the floor LOL), since he doesn't seemed to have used an actual technique. You two can sort it out however.

Maxxie was saddened that the alcove she used to previously meditate in was now used as a battleground between fighters that she felt were too good to put their strength against one another for no good reason. She felt that they would be wasteful of good talent if they succeeded in killing their opponent. The woman wished that she could put an end to it all, but it already started, and knowing that she could probably die trying to interfere made her just want to watch and see how it unfolded. Ultimately feeling that this fight wasn't hers to deal with, she flew to the near top of the alcove, folding her legs as if she was sitting on air, her hands on top of her knees. She would simply spectate.

Exiting. Maxxie will still be in there though, as I wanted to keep her in to help Verst out after the battle if he won. No one can stop my exit since this isn't a DE. Zeni please, with the added 10% human bonus.

I think fin meant that as an attempt, as he did say "try". Im assuming hes doing something similar to when he started to approach me in saying what exactly he would do if his attack worked.
Fan groaned. he'd expected a thrilling 1 on 1, a fight to the fullest. He'd been feeling rusty ever since his little spar in West City, and thought he was gonna get a good fight against somebody way stronger. however, seeing as the creature who had attacked him decided to instead ignore him, it peeved Fan off slightly. Fan was a man of honor however, he wouldn't step into another persons fight unless they begged for help. So just like Maxxie, he would sit down, crossing his arms in annoyance as he watched the fight.

Verst was quite surprised by the alien's attempts, he'd somehow survived his attack, but then he closed the distance. Adorable, Verst thought to himself. Apparently this creature thought it was appropriate to attack him with his tail. The tail as it rushed to his neck, he batted it away with his own. Then his hand extended towards his chest, a weak attack to his armour left nothing but a small scratch across the chest.
"Well now." Verst smiled. He ripped off his mask and started laughing at the alien. "Good luck dealing with this... Weakling." Verst continued laughing. His size began to change. He started growing. Taller and taller, until he was dwarfing the alien by a clear foot. Great black horns pierced from either side of his helmet. He smiled at the alien one last time, before the smirk disappeared. His expression becoming serious as all emotion drained from his face and he locked eyes with his opponent.

"My turn." He span around a kick came launching towards the aliens head, as his tail reached to grab the alien's leg.
