Aina sat upon a large stone looking out over the horizon. Many things had happened to her since her return from Konats and the subsequent debriefing on the actions of those that had gone there. Her report had not been a lengthy one but it had been detailed with what had all happened. Rubbing the side of her head lightly she held the badge of the BBA within her hands. Serving inside the military had been her life up to this point but ever since she had found her mother and made connections she had felt restless. Lhinith had been poking at her mind and she had begun to figure things out. Thinking about the service she had turned her away from the military.
Standing up she felt Lhinith poke at her mind. :: Aina what are you thinking? I can sense just how conflicted you are. Are you thinking about leaving the Blue Banner Army? Yes I am Lhinith. I am thinking of going freelance once more but this time heading out into the stars and just going where I feel. I want to see Aridot and Appodorra and NAmek. I do not want to spend my entire life sitting here and doing nothing with my life. Maybe I can meet some new people… Maybe I will die to some tyrant as I try to stand against them. But I will not know what my life will be if I stay here… ::
Lifting up the emblem it would be consumed within a small burst of ki. She had sent in her resignation to the BBA about an hour earlier and had sent back in all the equipment they had given her minus a few pens and coffee cups which she doubted they would miss. Turning back to look at her ship sitting there she sighed to herself. The wind blowing across her and causing her hair to whip out back from her and out toward the ocean. :: I need to try and be free of what is happening… and maybe try to free our people Lhinith. Become a monster so that my mother can come in with her own views and clean up the mess… ::
From within her mind she felt Lhinith nod at her and listen to her. :: Then I am here to help you. Let us gather our strength and someday gather allies to reclaim our home or to create a new one for us. Til that day I will be yours to use as you see fit. :: Aina’s face turned into a smile as she pulled the last of the badges off of her equipment and she sent it fluttering into the wind. Right now she was going to go free and do things in her own name. No longer in the name of the Government of her home planet.

Big Train had discovered the large stone overlooking the horizon earlier. When he was first making his way to the Kami’s Lookout. He remembered how relaxing it was. Sadly he didn’t want to pause too long on his adventure. But now that he actually had a little bit of free time, it might just be the perfect time to visit it again. After all, he could use more practice on his meditation and it seemed like the perfect place for that kind of thing. However, what a surprise it was when he found a pretty girl there. With an exceptional power level, no less. Very interesting indeed, Big Train wasn’t good around beautiful girls, but he wasn’t against some socializing either.
He hoped he wasn’t too used to talking to his 20 foot tall cat-bird friend, he didn’t want to seem any stranger than he already did. So the luchador mask-adorn teen approached Aina. His eyes shifted from her ship to her as he neared. He made his presence easily known, he didn’t want to sneak up on her. Besides, it isn’t like he was ever very stealthy, he didn’t even know how to hide his power level.
He leapt up onto the large stone. He would stand next to Aina but not too close. “Hey there” he would say with a friendly smile and a lift of his empty hand. Big Train was a pretty massive teenager, standing about 6’4 and more impressively weighing nearly 300 pounds. His body was a mixture of fat and muscle, which could only be described as ‘chubby fit’. He wore a simple white gi with both the Zen School symbol and the Galactic Patrol symbol displayed with pride. However this would be covered by a brown and red poncho. Which, to the trained eye, would clearly be noticed as being incredibly heavy. There was something about him, like he has an almost innocent aura around him. He couldn’t help but gaze out towards to ocean.

{Heavy Weights not on. PL is 66,302 Suppressed to 6,000 } Her attention was grabbed by someone scaling the large outcropping of stone that she had been resting upon. As the badge fluttered off into the distance the larger than life figure seemed to emerge over the edge of the stone edifice and seem to be surprised by her presence alone. Turning her gaze toward the figure as the ki sense had told her that they were finally up on the plateau section as she and her ship was. His voice echoed out and she brought a smile upon her face. “Hello to you as well.”
Looking over the man she noticed the white gi that was covered by an extremely heavy looking poncho. She had seen such a thing once before when it came to her former mentor Emer. As he had had something quite similar to Big’s cloak. The size of the man also gave her a moments hesitation as she was instantly thinking about should things go badly. Despite her own inner strength she knew that his simple physical size difference could be a difficulty should things go violent. Yet she had this feeling that nothing would occur as he looked out toward the ocean view a lot like she had just been. “It is a beautiful view is it not? One of the reasons I love this spot. Found it a long time ago and just remembered it. “
Moving a little bit the translucent hair moved and caught the light as she turned to look back out at the ocean. To her a view like this was one of the reason she loved this place but she knew that there was much more out there. Things that she was going to go and see even if it meant going into hostile territory.

“Yeah, yeah. it really is” Big Train nodded in total agreement. “I just found it recently, I couldn’t stop for long so I knew that I had to come back” he paused briefly before continuing. “I never really got many chances to see the ocean when I was a kid. There’s a lot you can learn from it” he said as he gazed out at the ocean waves intently. His old master use to use water as a metaphor for martial arts. Often telling him to ‘be like water’. He wondered how his old master was doing. But soon he would close his eyes.
The wind from the ocean crashed into him and he inhaled it deeply through his nose. It was a moment of relaxation that Big Train needed before he set off on his next adventure. Sometimes he forgot that a big part of training was knowing when to recharge. Sometimes he let this thirst for adventure drive him a little too hard. Because Big Train also wanted to explore, not just the world, but the universe.
He already had plans to head to Namek soon, he heard it was beautiful. He would open his eyes and shift his head ever so slightly, just enough to look at Aina. “I’m Big Train, what’s your name?” he said softly and calmly as he let the power of this tranquil place wash over him. He wondered what her story was, she must be a martial artist of some sort. Her power level was well above average.

“It really is a great place… and you are right. We can learn a lot from the ocean as it is tranquil when it has to be but also rages and can cause destruction at an untold scale…” Speaking as she felt the wind blow past the pair and the salty air hit her nose and she smiled widely. The simple feeling was something that she had not expected to experience This moment of rest before the next stage of her life was something she needed.
Turning her gaze back to Big Train as he introduced himself she gave him a warm smile and nodded. “It is a pleasure to meet a fellow who respects simple moments like this one Big Train. I am Aina Nedrag but I prefer to just be called Aina.” She smiled as she turned to look back out at the water once more. Her plans to head out toward Aridot and the Saiyan Empire soon would be interesting. As Vegeta will not be a hospitable place to her as her being a Kagami as she is she has an idea what to expect from the locals. Yet even she knew that there would be a few that would not be outwardly racist toward her so long as she showed her strength and would beat up a few if they got in her way.
“I want to ask. You have a gi on underneath that poncho of yours. As I know the styling of the martial arts uniforms as they are not much different than a military uniform but I do not recognize the color of it. Is it a newly formed school or is it something else?”

“Nice to meet you too, Aina” Big Train would say with his typical friendly smile. He would shift to fully face her now that she’s asked him a question. “This gi? I made it myself, haha. But this symbol is the symbol of the Zen School, I’m not sure if you’ve heard of Beryl Roarke” he would answer her question as he moved his brown poncho aside, just enough to make the Zen School emblem on his right breast clearly visible.
“I met him by chance in the Southern Islands and he agreed to train me… he’s SO strong, it’s unbelievable” however, the smile planted on his smile would twist into a frown as he continued. “But he disappeared recently, I’m not sure if I’ve even completed my training with him”. It was a shame, Beryl was a great master for Big Train, he really helped him elevate his already impressive physical skills. Just watching him move was enough to improve his own fighting style.
He thought that he had found the perfect teacher, until he up and disappeared one day. He was a bit hurt that he didn’t tell him that he was leaving before he left. “I just hope that he’s alright and that he comes back soon”. The somberness would pass from his face before he asked his own question to Aina, “What about you? You’re pretty strong, you must be a martial artist, right?”. His eyes would look her up and down before catching himself with a start. He completely forgot that she was a pretty girl for a second, and thought that she might take that the wrong way. All he knew was that she definitely looked like a fighter. Luckily the mask was covering most of his face to hide his blushing. Sometimes social etiquettes were lost on him, which really only added to his eccentricities.

“Sadly I can safely say that I have never met him. I think I may of seen that name when I have read things about them when it involves the Galactic Patrol Then again I could be wrong about that especially if they are really a teacher of something known as the Zen School.” Speakign softly yet truthfully as she had heard the name once or twice. Usually when it came to the Galactic Patrol information that she had gotten in scraps from other units in the BBA.
When Train continued to talk about his meeting and then how he vanished she would reach over and give the large man a pat on his back. “Cheer up. I doubt he would just abandon you or anyone else that was within your school. I have a feeling that you will finish your training the one of these days. Most of those that train normally do not abandon their students. I know my sister didn’t when she was training pupils except when she could not physically continue training them.”
Her words would flicker in and out as she kept her gaze affixed out at the ocean when he would ask her about her own training. Inhaling and exhaling she would take a moment to mull over what to say. “I am not a martial artist… I am a mercenary and trained killer for hire…” As she spoke her profession her tone was rather monotone as she did not take joy in being what she was she just did what she was good with.
Reaching up to point to eh quite visible knife she had on her shoulder she would pull her hand away from it to prove that she was not all that scary. “I am not dangerous when I am not doing my job. Though as of late my talents have been used to go after slavers and other people that are not really missed when they are sent to the afterlife.” Her words were calm and yet twinged with a little bit of sadness and regret to what it is that she does with her life but she does it.

(Sorry, works been kicking my backside)
Big Train was very much comforted by her pat on his back. He wasn't fully use to such kindness. "Yeah you're right" he confidentally nodded. She WAS right, Beryl HAD to come back one of these days... Big Train was visibly surprised when she told him of her profession. He would have never expected it. She seemed like such a sweet and kind person. Not to mention that it didn't really agree with his moral compass.
He mulled it over mentally before speaking, "I don't know why or how you could do that... I find it hard to hurt a fly" he said with an awkward laugh and a nervous scratching of the back of his mask. He was partially relieved that she only seemed to go after the bad guys. "But it's never too late to change" he continued in a much more serious tone. "There are more ways than one to stop bad guys" he would say as he revealed the Galactic Patrol symbol on his other breast. Being part of the Galactic Patrol was like a dream come true. He always had a strong feeling towards helping people, especially the helpless and the innocent. Maybe because he himself was once helpless. The Galactic Patrol gave him the means to help people.

Her gaze flickered as she blinked several times. She was quite obviously thinking as she looked at Train for a moment before her gaze looked past him and back at the ocean. “I used to find it hard Train… Never wanted to hurt a single being until I was attacked myself by a knife wielding man. Turned his own knife against him. I plunged it deep into his own chest right through his sternum at fourteen.… Self defense they said so I was never charged. I joined the military at the age of sixteen and they taught me to fight, to shoot, to kill…” Speaking softly she moved her gaze back away from the ocean and down at the rolling plains that surrounded them. It would be obvious that her body language was that of someone who was self reflective and someone who had done a lot of self checking.
“I have tried to change. Stuck around with the Blue Banner Army. I just cannot seem to do anything correctly. People that I consider friends die because I cannot ever seem to be in the right place at the right time. It is too often that I am unable to do anything so I figured I would just embrace what I am and what I know what to do…” Speaking once more after she noticed the Galactic Patrol Badge. Sighing as she saw that she rubbed the side of her head.
“Sorry to say it but I do not put much faith within the Galactic Patrol when my own people are still enslaved by the ARcosians and Saiyans. Until my mother’s people are free I will not be resting… Even if… if I have to become a monster I will do it.” She spoke softly pretty much reassuring something within her own mind. Glancing over at the tall man she sighed heavily once more.
“Sorry to be such a downer but that pretty much seems to be my lot in life. To be a loner like this and use these daggers to slice through people… Get rid of the black hearts of those that enslave and hurt others…” Aina turned her gaze once more out toward the ocean her ruby red eyes peering directly that way as she felt a tear roll on her cheek. She knew full well that her mother had tried to keep her from this life and yet it was in front of her and she was going to be walking this path with little regret.

Big Train listened carefully as she spoke, never taking his gaze from her. Phew, that was some heavy stuff. It hit Big Train hard, so he could only imagine how it made her feel. Big Train had his own adversities and strife, but they all seemed somewhat comical in comparison to Aina’s troubles. He found himself filled with a passion to help her, especially if there was a whole group of innocent people being persecuted. If it was one thing Big Train couldn’t stand, it was when innocent people were hurt. Now it was Big Train’s turn to console, he placed his massive meaty hand gently on her back.
“Listen, you can’t beat yourself up like that. You can’t blame yourself if you try your hardest. I know that you’re strong, both physically and mentally. You'd have to be to make it through all of that” he tried to reassure. Her statement about her people really took him by surprise. Surely if the Galactic Patrol knew about this, then they would do something? Though the Galactic Patrol did just recently form again. So hopefully in due time they can stop things like this from even happening in the first place. After taking a deep breath and a thoughtful moment he would continue “If you’re people are in trouble then you can always count on me to help”.
His usually goofy face took on a serious expression, “I want to help you save your people, Galactic Patrol approval or not. Nobody has the right to enslave ANYONE! Right now, I’m leaving for Namek soon… I have to keep a promise to a friend of mine. But once I'm done with that, then you can count me in. I will be there to help you and your people” his words came out with confidence. Big Train knew he wasn’t the strongest, right now at least. But there was no way that he could sit back comfortably while people are being hurt. He would offer what little strength he has right now to Aina and her people.

She felt his gaze not leaving her as Aina spoke about this or that. Her entire being was laid bare minus what Lhinith was holding back. This would be rather easy to see and when his hand was placed upon her back she smiled at him the sadder smile she originally had was fading away. As he spoke about how it was not right that she had to live through all that she just sighed and shrugged. “It is the lot in life I was given. I do not dwell upon it all that often anymore… Not as much as I used to at least. Especially after I finally met my mother and got things explained to me as to why it was I was left on the streets.”
Hearing him inhale and exhale deeply she figured he had just cleared his mind and took a few moments to gather his thoughts. When he mentioned that he would be there to assist her in the future she smiled widely. It was a welcome to hear that from someone else. Her smile switched to a genuine smile of gratitude from her. “Thank you Train. To have someone that I will call on someday in the future. Though just a heads up that if I ever do this it… you will probably not want to wear anything that could identify any allegiances to anyone. More or less to keep things safe between those that we might go after and your organizations.”
“When you return from NAmek I will be gone but I will leave you with the number for my ship. It will allow you to contact me should you wish it. Just expect that someday I will ask your help… Just it might not be for a long while.” Her words were spoken softly and quietly as she was serious again for a moment before moving to sit down on a nearby rock. Gathering her thoughts about it rather slowly as she did not want to just rush into things as her military training had helped curve that side of her personality.

Big Train nodded his head as the white dove thanked him. She also explained that it may not happen for a while and how when it does happen, Big Train should avoid leaving traces to his organizations. Which was good advice, the last thing he would want would be to cause more trouble for the slowly recovering Galactic Patrol. "You're more than welcome, Aina. I'm just glad to have the chance to help people in need. I hate bullies, especially galactic wide bullies, hah. But you're right to take your time, a lot of preparation is needed for something this big and important" the friendly smile stretched back across his face naturally.
He would then reach into his white gi pants and pull out his phone in order to take her contact number. It was a fancy looking device with the Capsule Corp symbol marking it as their design. There was also a smaller symbol on it, some kind of marking or signature. Only the L would be clearly legible. The phone itself was supposedly a high tech prototype. But it was also Big Train's first phone, so it took some time to get used to. "I'll check in with you after I settle everything on Namek. I don't think it should take too long..." there was some doubt in this statement.
Big Train had a bad feeling about the journey to Namek, but it was probably just his nerves. After all, it would be the first time ever that he will leave his home planet. He had to get over it though, because he planned on exploring all over the universe! After taking her contact information Big Train would sit down next to her. He would sit there with her in a pause of silence before asking, "Have you ever left Earth?". He knew that she was not human, at least not fully. But he didn't know if she was born on Earth or elsewhere. Nor would he ever have guessed that she is half saiyan. Or if she had already explored the stars.

Looking at the device he would see her reach up just past her hair and a slight activation beep of a rather high tech scouter would be heard. It would give her several beeps as it would connect to his device and send over the number for the ship and the direct communication with herself. “Here you are Train. This is both the ships transponder number and my scouters frequency. This will allow you to get in touch with me no matter where you are. Though if you are on Namek I might take a while to get there if I am elsewhere in the galaxy. Even if it only is for a ride away from Namek.”
As she turned off her scouter she listened to his question and she stopped and smiled at him. Nodding to him as she was letting him know she had. “I have left the planet on a mission for the BBA. We left and headed to Konats after someone appeared on the planet that had been exiled from their planet. So we looked into something. It was difficult for me to actually leave but once I went it opened up my eyes to a larger galaxy instead of just things here and now. It is one of the reasons I started to think about my mothers people and what all could be happening there.”
Aina would reach a hand over to pat his back lightly as if telling him that things will be alright. Her own strength would be evident inside the pats despite her attempting to hold back. “Things will be fine there Train. Just be careful and let things come at you slowly. Just keep an eye on your friend and on your own back and you should be fine.”

After exchanging numbers with Aina, Big Train would realize this was the first time he ever got a pretty girl's number. Although this was obviously a different situation, he was still going to chalk it up as a win. "That's a cool scouter, I always wanted one. But I heard that there's an app I can get on this thing that'll let me read power levels. Though I can kinda do that already" he shrugged, indicating to the phone that was still in his hand before pocketing it. He wasn't the most tech savvy person in the world and would rather not count on it if he could avoid it.
"That's really cool, I'm not really familiar with Konats but I'll have to add it on the list of places I need to check out!" he let out a belly laugh at the end of his words. Big Train listened to more of her advice after receiving the pat to his back. Arco would let out an approving squawk from behind the two. As if saying 'we always have each other's back!'. Big Train would just grin and nod his head in agreement.
"So.. what was the BBA like? I don't know much about them outside of what you hear on the news. And I don't think that's the most accurate source, ya know?" the young martial artist didn't really know much about the factions that fought for power over the universe. He was still learning, usually the hard way. So this was a good opportunity to find out about one of the organizations before he ran into them.

“Thanks… I have custom built this one to suit my needs. As you can tell I am not that loud of a person. So I move quietly and with stealth. The scouter is programmed to give me thermal, night vision, RF vision and allows me to remotely control certain things if I can get into the processing system of the item. And I am kind of the same way. I sensed you arriving but I felt that you were not hostile. So I did not want to do anything hostile acting. Though Lhinith does it for me most of the time now. So it is easier for me to focus on other things.” She spoke softly as she smiled at Train once more. The mention of the goddess seemed to make her happy and not want to introduce herself to the other man.
The mention of Konats was a wide smile on her face. It was a great memory for her as the resteraunt she had went to stuck in her mind as did the days spent just wandering the planet. “I spent about two weeks there. Enjoying their culture and their food. Which was delectable at the end of the time there I asked the resteraunt I went to daily and they gave me a small book of receipies. I was honored to have them.”
Telling him the truth of her time on Konats was a refreshing thing. She had enjoyed all of it so much that it was something that she would always love to share with others.
