Aftermath: Dead Ties Thread PL: 253,593Light Eater: 8,368,569 / 8,622,162Ki Suppression: 115,000Hideaki: 50,000Collar Bot: 500T4 Shop: [ Active ] Lord Retsu A few days passed since Noxa completed her end of the bargain. For a good portion of those days she had vanished completely after her massive power spike, and the temporary black sun that had spread over the Arcosian sky. Mr. Floofs had been left to retrieve her pod and bring it within the palace for safe keeping. The loyal pup holled himself within the pod, keeping it safe from and possible thieves or moving of the pod.
However, Noxa’s vanishing wasn’t permanent. When she did return she did so with clear purpose in mind: find the now-Emperor Retsu. She hoped he didn’t decide to flake… After all, something like that would bode negatively for him and his newfound Empire. Any ki-aware citizens within Arcose would find the same signature at the heart of the Black Sun of days ago returning, licking at the edges of the planet. Those with scouters would get a bit of a delayed awareness as a power whose intensity was comparable to the previous emperor’s suppressed state entered the capital.
She heard a good deal of power scaling from the same Emperor she currently sought. She could only assume that he was currently training himself — likely attempting to improve himself in order to do his people true. She could respect that, although the idea of sympathy was just slightly out of her reach at the moment. Noxa’s recent transformation had a great deal of psychological and emotional change — the bulk of which the scarlet virago wasn’t entirely aware of at the moment; she was still shake about the entire ordeal. The swell of power that overtook her was horrifying as well as exhilarating. The sensation of hundreds of ki signatures she had once consumed arising and attempting to take over her mind only added to that sudden grip of despair that came with the unknown.
Her thoughts, however, were kept out of that nebulous cloud of uncertainty.
The Bio Android still wore the same robes from her original transformation. There were subtle differences about it, however; the edges of the black cloth now licked at the air, as though it constantly being incinerated and regenerated; her black, coat tail flapped in the air despite the lack of a breeze — much like how her hair flowed and writhed independent of any other factors.
Noxa found herself passing by Hideaki's location. Through the translucent screen of her heavily modded pod she saw the fluffy white guardian curled around himself as he slept. No doubt the coldness of this world had gotten to him too... Noxa could feel the warmth of the pod, even at a dozen feet away; the pup had the heat blasting, no doubt. However, the fact he was able to interact with the pod told her what she needed to know: he still had his collar bot — the multi-purpose drone the woman used as a communication device.
The door to the pod was opened. There was a twitch within the fluffy ears of the pup, as a rush of coolness came into the pod's toasty 120° F. There was... A... Gladness that spread from her breast out to her body — a warm sensation... Seeing her loyal business partner well despite the events that had transpired. It was a new emotion, one that she would be eager to explore in the future. For now, however, she ran her fingers through the soft fur of his head, giving him a tender petting before her hands curled around his neck, reaching near his collar and pulling free the heart-shaped CollarBot. The woman left the pod's door cracked slightly, as she finally pulled away. With her means of communication once more in her possession the amazon could once more return to her original purpose: the Arcosian.
Soon she came upon where Emperor Retsu had been...

While Noxa had been away, Retsu had certainly been busy. He had made a few executive decisions about his plans for the Empire, as well as learned a few new Techniques thanks to the archives. His Training had become a focus the last day or so, as he read up more on the Empire's history. He had dabbled in the history earlier in his life, but nothing quite as extensive as he was now.
His day consisted of eating a meal in the morning, and training the whole day, occasionally taking a breather to read a few passages from the Archives before returning to his training regiment. He had to get stronger for his people, and he was determined to do so. So in the holochamber under the palace was currently under use.
The Holo Room was active, the environment around Retsu was that of Vegeta. And the things he were fighting were projections of saiyans, randomly generated by the Chamber itself. Currently Retsu was in the middle of a group of them. Each of them taking a turn hitting him here and there. Retsu grunted it each punch, trying to Harden his body to the pain. Retsu's body ached, having been doing this for a few hours now. Finally he had enough and flew up into the air. His eyes narrowed and he sent down a barrage of Icy blue Ki-Blasts, which exploded, shaking the entire Palace.
When Noxa finally found him the holoprogram faded, leaving a stalk white room with purple emitter gems. Retsu panted and slowly landed turning his head to look towards Noxa as she entered. "There you are." He said. "I was wondering if you were ever going to return."
He floated lazily towards her and landed in front of her. He smiled before speaking once more. " I must say you were far more impressive than I was expecting. I'm glad to have someone as powerful as you at my side." He turned from her. "I'm assuming your here to talk about getting your side of the Payment Yes?"

Noxa’s entire robes flowed to the left, alongside her hair, little bits of the robe being pulled and vanishing into the air like parks from a raging wood fire. Her entire form was rather strange to witness within the surreal whiteness of the chamber. Especially considering there was a dark halo about her — light seemed to grow increasingly dimmer around the woman’s form.
The silent Light Eater stood there, her golden gaze examining Retsu for a little longer. The entire room was nothing more than one sterile color, but she had felt his power struggling up until she got here. Instead of bringing up that point, the woman began to take steps in further, heels clacking against the stone-like floor.
The woman approached him without as much as a word to break apart the rhythm thumping of her heels; she stopped a mere six feet in front of him. Lord Retsu had long since finished speaking, and only then would her own words begin:
“I would be giving you a half-truth if I told you my expectations were any different from your own. I don’t know what that power was; I don’t know what this power is...” There was hesitation on the woman’s features, her eyes narrowed as her pupils seemed to focus somewhere past the new-found Emperor for a moment, as if she was remembering, or gazing at something just out of reach. Her focus returned to the eyes were hidden behind his pink scouter. “It doesn’t matter. I am here about my payment, yes. I expect you know better than to try and double cross me.”
The woman took a half step, turning her body just a fraction away from Lord Retsu, while her head cocked fully over to her right side, looking over at where she entered from. That is where her eyes focused — trailing from the door to the strange gems that lined the chamber.
“Everything we spoke about is valid; I won’t take any alterations to the deal, be it because you lack funds or resources.” The woman’s face turned fully towards Emperor Retsu, but her body remained in its current position, “Where — what is this? A gravity chamber?”
Just as Noxa uttered her question a buzzing and chime rang from the strange heart-shaped thing that she held within her gauntlet-covered right hand. It got no attention from Noxa, despite the feminine AI voice, chiming in and claimed: "You've got mail!"

Retsu chuckled. "I have no reason to double-Cross you. There would be no merit to it. Nor would it be beneficial to anyone involved." He looked her up and down slowly. "I did make a slight alteration however. Though this one is in your favor. I'll be giving you more advertising space than we had previously discussed. How does air space over the capitol sound?"
He turned away from her and looked about the room before looking back at Noxa. "Well, it was a gravity chamber before we arrived. But your shout damaged the gravity controls, and until I have it fixed or something of that sort. For now its a holographic training room until the gravity generator can be replaced." He smiled. "Its rather handy I must admit. I was using it before you arrived."
He cleared his throat before turning to her in full. "You wanted a position of power, as such I'm giving you the Friion Force. Its an elite military unit that is for only the toughest most powerful soldiers in the Arcosian Empire. However, with you taking the head, as per tradition, it will be renamed to the Noxa Force." He'd float past her for a moment and some rummaging would be heard before he returned with Black spandex and some saiyan armor. He'd toss them to her.
"As per that roll you must wear the color coded uniform. For now however I only have this black pair. You can choose your own color later." He nodded. "Put that on now and I'll show you how this chamber works while explaining your duties as Noxa Force Commander."

Noxa listened intently to the new Lord of Arcose. It was good to hear he didn’t have any plans of back stabbing her, but then again that’s exactly what someone intent on betrayal would say. Nonetheless, even if it was the case Noxa had little reason to actually fret. The woman’s arms came to cross over her belly. He went on to detail what military position was suitable for her taking, which was exactly what she was going to do; Noxa made a mental note on the back of her mind about the renaming of the ‘Friion Force’.
As the uniform was tossed her way, one of the woman’s red tendrils snatched it from the air. Tights as well as the same kind of armor she’d seen a handful of Saiyans wearing on Earth. She wasn’t a big fan of the bulkiness of it, but denying him this simple pleasure would’ve been a pointless cruelty. The robes that danced in the air completely disintegrated, into the non-existent breeze, leaving Noxa’s form to be manually covered by the outfit.
Noxa’s ki began to wrap around her form, keeping her warm despite the bitter cold of Arcose. It seemed Arcosians didn’t believe in heating. The woman’s carapace-coat had done a good job of keeping her warm up until now, but she was doubtful about the tights. Soon Noxa had slipped on the armor and its pointed shoulder pads.
“This feels too tight…” Noxa found herself complaining, “But… It’s… Fine.”
The woman would place a hand on one shoulder, give her arm a few good spins before repeating it on the alternate side. Her xanthic gaze moved from her flexing and adjusting back to Lord Retsu.
“What were you doing here anyway? On my way here I felt you power level spiking in really weird ways. Is it an effect this chamber has, or were you working on something?”

"Oh hush." He said narrowing his eyes. "Don't complain. This is your uniform. You are only obligated to wear it when training someone of the force, or of the Empires Army. And on missions. Other than that Feel free to where what you want." Retsu turned from her and headed to the center of the room. The door to the room shut behind Noxa.
Retsu smiled. "As I said, I was training." He said. "Using Simulations of Vegeta and Saiyans. Its a good way to hone a new Technique I learned from the Arcosian Archives."
He'd step on one of the purple gem emitters and spoke up. "Earth Please. Coastal Beach." There was a confirmation beep before the area round them suddenly changed to that of a sunny beach on earth. All the sense were there. The thick moisture in the air, the smell of the ocean's salt. The sand beneath ones feet. Even the heat. It was warm in the room.
Retsu turned to Noxa and smiled. " This room can be used to teach our soldiers how to adapt to the world around them, as well as make randomized Holographic entities for battle. I believe it would be the best way for you to train your Force, as it would give them experiences in different environments, as well as teach them survival skills."
He turned from her, staring out into the ocean. A soft sigh escaped him before he rose a finger. "Allow me to demonstrate...." He rose up off the ground, his body sparking with a purple energy, that surged upwards into his raised finger. A small black ball of energy formed and grew larger, only to be thrown down into the ocean. There would be an explosion in the distance before the sky suddenly grew dark and storms began to erupt. The ground began to shake violently before he floated down to Noxa. "It also has realistic damage based on your power level."
He looked back as large cracks began to form into the planet's surface. He smiled and looked back at her. "This planet now has five minutes before it explodes. Again a simulation, but the attack I just used is one passed down from generation to generation of Emperor. An attack specifically designed for detonating planets. Its called a Death Ball...."
He narrowed his eyes. "How would you like to learn it?"

Admittedly the armor and tights were quickly beginning to feel rather comfortable. Still, even with the comfort level of these garments the Amazon still preferred her robe and carapace. Thankfully Lord Retsu admited that these weren’t mandatory for her to always be wearing — only when on a job or training, which she was more than fine with. Admittedly, if she had other people to play dress up with this could actually be fun, and not feel like a drag. She had once accidentally stumbled onto a comic con and been mistakenly recognized as a Bexy Sitch cosplay; they weren’t wrong, after all the character was a complete rip off of Noxa’s likeness. She had fun that day — leading a squad of like-minded dorks sounded like a true blessing.
“You know, that doesn’t sound like a bad idea.” Noxa said, “Color coded uniforms for this ‘NOXA Force’...” She paused, “Although I’m going to make it an elite squadron that would spearhead serious operations while also commanding other branches of the military.”
Just as she finished talking there was a procedural change of both atmosphere and environment. She instantly remembered this place — a beach of Earth! She had been here before; she had met Captain Nova here before, well… Before her…
Her throat turned bitter; her expression sharpened into a fierce expression as her mind returned to Tekuma and her admission to murder. It wasn’t the fact she was a murderer that had truly bothered Noxa — Noxa had killed more people than she cared to count; it was the fact that the human girl had the audacity to so much as touch someone that the Bio Android liked.
The change in scenery was about as realistic as could get. Warmth and salty air. Noxa, too, grew salty — and not just because of the reminder of Tekuma. She grew salty because this jackass could’ve had this room set at not freezing temperatures from the get go!
A heavy sigh escaped Noxa’s lips. Just as she indulged in the blissful atmosphere of Earth’s beaches, a horrible sensation watched over her. She turned just in time to see a purple orb of black cackling with purple lightning. The configuration of ki — she wasn’t entirely sure how Lord Retsu managed to produce it, but the woman knew that it was capable of doing amazing feats of destruction.
The wonderful day at the beach soon began to turn into a dark, nightmarish hell of Lord Retsu’s creation. It was impressive how quickly everything had turned after the Death Ball had plunged into the artificial ocean. Noxa turned to the new Emperor; she wanted to be mad he ruined such a perfect scenery, but in reality this new one had a quality of its own — beauty of annihilation.
“I would absolutely love to learn it.” She found herself saying, an honest tone of amazement and respect in her voice. Retsu was weak comparatively, but it was clear he had both drive and finese that escaped most warriors. “I have but one question — just how sure are you that the planet would blow up in five minutes? That sounds like a very abstract number you just pulled out of nowhere…”

"You get the Noxa force and nothing more." He spoke. "The position of leader on that force is the highest level of Military I can give you without directly handing over control of Arcose's army. You worry about your force, and I'll worry about the rest. As it stands the Force has always been an elite unit. Always called in to the most dangerous of missions and the like."
He turned from her once more, staring out into the ocean, watching as the water itself began to burn and give way to magma. A smile spread across his face. "Even in Destruction a planet can be beautiful... The beauty of creation and destruction. Life and Death. All of it is truly beautiful in its own right." He looked back towards her as the storm began to get worse.
He smiled at Noxa before her question of time came. He blinked, caught off guard by the question. "Oh. Uh. Its quite difficult to really understand. There was an equation for planet size and density in the archives. But it said the standard time for planetary detonation was five minutes. So I assumed it was five minutes." He turned from her.
"Its an interesting attack I must say. I couldn't get it to work for a few hours when I first tried. Until I had a catalyst. Something to focus all the negative energy I had into the attack." He smiled. "My hatred of the saiyans, and their filthy planet... And asteroids, for unimportant reasons I wont go into." He shut his eyes and sighed softly. "The way I see it, the death ball is an extension of your negative energy. Hence why it is so void of light. My lance cannon takes on the same color as my aura, as does my death bullet. And yet the death ball is as black as my armor...."
He looked back to her. "Does that make any sense to you? If not I'll say this so you may better understand it. Think of something you hate the most in your life. The absolute most disgusting thing, raise your finger, and imagine you are going to kill that very thing you hate. Push it all out through your finger and then just... Throw."

Lord Retsu seemed to be affirming Noxa’s assumption that this new attack, which seemed to be called ‘Death Ball’, was some kind of extension to hatred and other poisonous emotions. The woman’s tongue danced behind her teeth as she gave it some thought; the core of the attack seemed easy enough. Emotionally-fueled ki attacks were something that she would likely master easily — especially something along the spectrum of spite. Should this be something that required more finesse or careful ki control then Noxa would likely have walked away, but something as brute as pouring your uttermost hatred into?
Well, she was going to at least give this one a shot. The fact that it was an emotion she was very familiar with was just icing on the cake.
Although there wasn’t a whole lot of a specific thing that Noxa could focus on; her dislike for Arcosians was more of a keen dislike than anything — she was prejudice against them, not hateful. However, Noxa rose her finger much in the way that Lord Retsu had done; a red glimmer of red light began to build atop of it. It was a hint of Noxa’s own, natural ki — as the emotions began to tint the vermillion gleam, it grew darker.
Soon, Noxa’s aura began to form over her body. It was less of light and more the absence of it, with only a vague red outline at its very end — a display similar to that of an eclipse.
The ki at her fingertip began to expand, forming into a darkness much like that of her aura. Even more so to that aesthetic, the attack ‘Death Ball’ soon gave birth to a sort of self-contained electric discharge; arcs of red lightning streaking across its spherical shape. The Bio android’s mentality did, infact, take a turn to the darkside of the emotional spectrum. However, unlike Lord Retsu she didn’t focus on any particular thing. Instead the culmination of all her past experiences are what fueled her death ball.
Noxa’s facial features furrowed and darker; the pit of her stomach bubbled over with ire and spite. Soon, a Death Ball blossomed to full power under her guidance. A pair of wings sprouted from the woman’s back, and began to buzz with a muffled, fluctuating tone. Noxa rose into the air, before sending the ball flying off into the horizon of the holochamber.
Should Noxa cause yet more destruction to the palace, or the ball be lost into the holographic simulation — that was yet to be seen.

He'd watch Noxa in silence as she summoned the attack after seeing it once. He frowned. Of Course she'd learn it after one attempt. That is just how his days always went. It took him several hours to figure it out and there she was doing it like it was throwing a normal Ki- ball. A sigh escaped him and he shook his head. Perhaps it was because he never really was the best fighter?
He looked past her as the Death Ball she had thrown was sent off into the distance. There would be a flash before the planet would suddenly flash. The Hologram would change suddenly, they were now weightlessly floating in space, as the planet earth exploded outwardly, sending debris and chunks in every which way. Retsu stared at where it had been for a few moments, before turning to look at Noxa.
"Well seems you've already figured it out.... In one attempt." He shook his head. "I swear I'm beginning to think I'm just a terrible fighter. It always takes me quite a while to master techniques that aren't my own, yet others seem so... Good at it."
He turned from her once more as the hologram in the room faded away back to nothingness. Once again they were in a frigid white room with nothing inside. "Right well, what were we talking about again? The Force correct? Because I have some orders. Head to the nearby military Academy, and assume your role. After that head to earth and begin recruitment to your force AND the Arcosian Empires Armies. I will do my best to get my pod finished before I follow you there. Understood?"

The Emperor’s Woes didn’t really resonate with Noxa; she wasn’t one to wallow in the things she accomplished that others managed to complete faster. If that was the case she was sure she’d have gone mad long ago from so many efforts into trying to blend into Human society.
“Don’t lose any sleep over it; raw emotions essentially fueled everything I did for the first 18 years of my life.” Noxa waved her hand dismissively, “Only a few months ago did I start learning how to rationalize things… I’m sure if that attack was anything super tricky like that god damn ki pizza — which I have tried learning on my own, and tried learning from Celmaru to no avail!” Once her voice began to raise the woman caught herself, deciding to only glare down at the simulation of a dying world. She was getting side tracked.
Noxa’s head turned over to Retsu, “Besides, just because I pulled it off once doesn’t mean I’m ready to use it in a fight or anything; I’m going to be here for a while practicing it, if you don’t mind. That said, I’ve got some things to talk to you about while my stamina recovers.” The first thing I want to know is what the hell you plan on doing now that you’re Emperor of Arcose. I don’t care about your politics, but I’m curious — I’m going to assume that you’re not just going to toss the Empire at war for no reason… So, what? You’re going to just work on making money? I could’ve sworn that guy — Abzurure or something — didn’t he say something about a plan he was working on? Maybe alliances? Do you plan to continue any of that, or make some of your own? I’ll be honest, I wasn’t really listening; he talked way too much.”
The woman looked down, at her armor, pulling at the stretch substance so that she could see down between the armor and her body. “You know, this stuff is really comfortable..” She mumbled, “I think I’m going to customize the tights into being red… Or should I color the shoulder pads instead? If I’m going to use this stuff I’m going to at least make it something I want to wear…”
Noxa let go of the collar, allowing the entire upper body gear to snap back in place, wincing as it smashed into her chest. An Oversight, but soon it was once again molded to a comfortable size.

He'd fall silent as noxa spoke, Allowing her to ask him his plans. When she finished He spoke. "My plans are simple really. The first thing we must do is build up our economy from what it is now, back to what it once was. While doing that We also seek out world leaders and make Alliances with those we need to. Once that is done we begin working on our Armies. We need to Recruit quite a lot of troops of varying power level if we plan to every defend ourselves from things that will come our way." He nodded.
"After that I believe My main focus will be keeping our alliances strong. War is something that I do plan to do in the future, but that is a Far future. Not until I myself am much stronger, and we have an army of might...."
He turned away from her as the room once more turned to that of Earth's Beaches. He stared out into the ocean and smiled. "But as of now the economy is the biggest problem as is our dwindling army. We must recruit those that will join us and begin training immediately." His tail swayed slowly before he looked back at her. "And I have several plans on how to fix both of those problems. However one of them may prove very dangerous. Though I have no doubt in my mind that you wouldn't be able to handle it."
He'd take a few steps from her and kneel down by the water of the ocean. He shut his eyes and let out a calm sigh. "I'm normally not one to get lost in euphoria but this.... My plans are coming together so well and its because of you..." He pulled his hand out of the water and clenched it. "It really gives me a sense of true happiness the likes of which I've never felt before. So I thank you Noxa."
He stood up, turning towards her in full. "But don't think that means I'll let you slack off. I plan to use you and the Noxa force to your full potential."
At her comment of how comfortable the uniform was he chuckled. "Of course it is. Its form fitting. No matter what size or shape you are it will fit and it will be comfortable."

“I’m not going to bother asking for specifics,” Noxa admitted. It was true enough that she didn’t have the basis to understand any of the complex quagmires that was politics nor economics. Of course, not all of what the Emperor said was wasted. Everything was taken to heart, figuratively speaking; the virago appreciated that Retsu gave her the credit she deserved — she also enjoyed that he was interested in seeing Noxa blossom to her full potential. Those were few things she had ever heard of. None the less, there was the matter of the Death Ball.
The woman rose her finger, firing a few weaker versions of the murderous ki orb out into the chamber. She was attempting to make it so that her emotional state could be reliable enough to pull off the technique whenever needed. As she did this, however, Noxa indulged in small talk.
“Well, I’m glad you’re satisfied with the results.” The woman mumbled, feeling a light buildup of sweat over her skin from the repetitive ki use, “As long as you’re a satisfied customer I’m sure we don’t have any issues in the future… Although the I should note I think you ought to procure alliances first. It’s the best way to show people you care about the empire as a whole.” She noted, “At least that’s what I would do if I were managing a gang — which, I admittedly have for a short time on Zilyana. Then again, it completely broke apart within a week or so, so maybe my advice isn’t the best…”
Noxa shrugged off that possibility; she was just making small talk at this point, after all. She had discussed what she needed to, and now only needed to hone her skill with her newfound technique.
“What’s the deal with overthrowing that other guy anyway?” Noxa wondered, “I got the feeling that he was some kind of slimy politician considering how much he was talking; was it because he hardly did anything — meaning I’m right or did you just want power for yourself?”
The Death Ball-tossing amazon was legitimately curious about the answer. Emperor Retsu had given her a few quips here and there during their contracting, but it was possible he might change his answer now completely that the ordeal had been over — it was in her experience that there were some kind of particularly nasty individuals who often gloated about the true purpose of their plans the moment after they had been completed.
She didn’t think that Emperor Retsu was one of these kinds of people, but she could always have misjudged his character.

"Its good you aren't." He said. "I'd rather not spoil ALL of my plans. Surprises can be quite fun you know." Retsu would silence himself as he watched her practice weaker version of the death ball, nodding slowly. "I do hope you understand I've shown you this in good will." He smiled. "As you are now my strongest ally, I expect you to follow orders, though I do wish you to know you will have say in my plans. If you don't like something I"m doing merely speak up. I will hear your words and do my best to solve whatever you may find dissatisfactiory."
He'd let Noxa speak uninterrupted before he himself spoke up. "As I said. Recruiting and Alliances are some of the first steps. Which is why once you are done here I want you to head to earth and begin recruiting not only for the Noxa force, but the Arcosian Empire's army." He offered a hand to Noxa, and should she take it, he'd gently kiss the back of her hand.
"Its one of your many duties now, Princess Noxa." He said. "I expect you will make good choices for your team. However, I would recommend Rafar. If not for you, then for me. If you can find him bring him back here when you are finished. Even if you must beat him black and blue to do so. Other than that you have free reign. Go nuts!"
At the question of his motives he blinked. He hadn't been expecting that. He shut his eyes before he began to answer. "My Motives have not changed. I want only the best for my people. A strong military and Economy should do that. As well as powerful allies. If My people are to have faith in my I must prove myself to them." He opened his eyes. "Though I would be lying if I said I hadn't always aspired to be in charge. It was always appealing to me."
He looked her up and down for a few moments before speaking up. "That Uniform suits you well." He said. "And with it you will help me bring my people back to the forefront of their power. A new Golden Age."

“If I don’t like something I won’t have a problem speaking up about it.” The virago confirmed, holding up a blast over her head, allowing it to grow a little stronger before leting it fly. “And yes — once I take over and finish claiming this military unit I will be recruiting; I won’t recruit for your army. I don’t mind picking up a few people, but I won’t go about mass recruiting — that doesn’t sound the kind of thing that a leader would take kindly to. I know if I was Vi-Poi I would have my grapes soured over someone trying to recruit for their entire military on my planet. So… No, I won't be recruiting for your entire military; if I were you I’d look for other planets under Arcosian Empire where you haven’t so much as looked at. I know for a fact that while I was in Zilyana I never came across an Arcosian recruiting station. I also know that a lot of men and women from Zilyana would be more than willing to join the Arcosian Empire if it meant pulling them away from that world.”
It was only a suggestion, but it was one of hidden brilliance. Noxa was no political strategist, but she had enough real life experience to know that whatever this Arcosian Empire’s military for was at it wasn’t enough. If it had been enough the planet wouldn’t have been eradicated, and since it wasn’t enough she knew they needed to recruit dramatically. She also knew that they hadn’t been doing so, after all the status Zilyana was left at was just that of a mining world, meanwhile the human resources were completely untapped.
“But I do agree with you that Rafar would be a good candidate; I’ve only met him a few times, but it’s clear he has goals and a personality that’s really starting to grow. I’m not big on Saiyans — also don’t have anything against them, but I do know that they have a lot of growth potential. I had the displeasure of meeting quite a few ‘Super Saiyans’ on some of my more destructive adventures. I’ve yet to meet a fun one, but at least none of them were weaklings.”
Noxa shook her head, taking a break from firing out her blasts and crossing her arms beneath her armor-covered breasts. “You don’t have to worry about me hurting him. I’m sure he’d listen to reason — or, at least, heed your call. You two seem like good friends, but I might be wrong.”
At the mention of her suit Noxa cupped her chest each of her hands, gripping down, “You know, this armor is really weird.” She proclaimed, regarding the suit that Retsu had just wished her luck on, “It’s really durable, and I can see how it’d help dampen blows… But I think it’s not very convenient to wear… I’ll make some changes to it before implementing it as an uniform or something.”
