CURRENT POWER LEVEL: 20 MULTIPLIERS: N/A GAIN BONUSES: N/A CELESTIAL EVENT: Makyo Star TAGS: OOC NOTES: Adventure, ho! I need to practice my skills for the eventual racing thread. I hope this one will be fun for everyone to write in! I'm in a very dragon-y writing mood today...
KEY "Chronos Dialogue" "Capper's Normal Dialogue" 'Capper's Telepathy' 'Capper's Thoughts'
DUNGEONS, DRAGONS, AND MORE DRAGONS Capper had decided to take one last trek into Earth's wilderness. He was kind of tired of the planet's crazy shenanigans- the saiyan lost his left foot in his most recent escapade, and was now stuck with a peg-leg. Even before that, he was nabbed by a hungry dragon that just wanted to feed her babies. And even before THAT, Capper went Oozaru and went on a fearful rampage before being subdued outside of the city he had transformed in. Needless to say, Capper had quite the adventure on the blue marble known as Earth. Still, a part of him craved that rush and thrill of danger. Maybe it was his saiyan side- that craving for battle had turned into a desire for other things- he needed a thrill or a rush. But Capper was sure to take all the necessary precautions this time. He had a rather large brown backpack overflowing with supplies for survival. A handbook, matches, a knife, some tinder, plenty of food, a compass, and a jug of water slung around his form were just a few of the saiyan's supplies. Capper came prepared this time- he would NOT be loosing his other foot today! He had emergency plans for all sorts of things layed out. If some hungry beast wanted to prey on him, he would lash out at it with that knife he packed! If they were underground and got lost in a cave, Capper brought along some reflective markers and a wind-up flashlight to keep their trail intact! There was no way this could go wrong, right?... Right?
This time, Capper's misadventures had brought him deep into the Bamboo Woods of the Eastern Lands that were a few miles away from his home in the Spinach Wastes. The woods were awfully foggy for this morning hour, but Capper endured. He could only see a few feet in front of him, and anyone flying above would have a hard time navigating. But his trusty Scouter wouldn't let him down if someone dangerous was nearby! Alpha, Capper's android partner and drone buddy was alert on his shoulder, looking around and scanning the area whilst letting off a few low beeps. Capper had found a nice lady's cabin in the woods awhile ago. She smelt of chocolate and offered Capper a map of a ruined castle nearby, promising that there was a great treasure hidden in it's deepest reaches, which were not mapped. Her voice was strange, and had a faint echo to it for some reason, but she was nice enough to Capper. What could this whimsical treasure be? A hoard of gold? A ton of parts for his robots? The possibilities were endless! Capper now stood in what seemed to be the ruined grand hall of the castle. The ceiling was completely busted, revealing the distant spires of the castle in the fog. The place was overgrown with thorny weeds and long vines, ripe with some bitter-tasting purple fruits here and there. Sitting on an old chair, Capper kicked his feet around as he surveyed his map. He was getting awful close to the uncharted area where the treasure was supposed to be near....
Capper lied down, letting his head hang over the back of the chair as he traced his gloved finger across the sepia map, pinpointing his own location on the paper. He had been navigating the castle for a good two hours now... Soon enough, a shadow soared over Capper, causing the saiyan's hairs to stand on end. Oh no. He was not being eaten by another dragon today, no sir! Scampering to his feet, Capper quickly began to run to the shadows of the building, but a loud thud and a gust of wind behind him sent the saiyan spiraling to a faceplant. Turning around, the saiyan saw a magnificent silver-scaled dragon in front of him, breathing heavily. Yelping, Capper quickly backed up against the wall, tail curled around his body as he quivered in place. Closing his eyes, Capper could only wait for the metallic beast to come and swallow him whole. Seconds felt like an eternity as Capper shivered, eventually opening his eyes as a breath blew his hair backwards. Looking forwards, the saiyan let out another high-pitched yelp when the dragon's face was just inches from his as it sniffed him, before it took a few steps backwards, it's large head still lowered to his level. What was that look on it's face? Desperation? Fear? Misery? Lowering his guard just a little, a chill was sent down the saiyan's spine as the mighty dragon spoke.... Wait, spoke?
"Please..."
Capper stared, blinking a few times with wide eyes as the dragon spoke in a pleading, shaky tone. He was shocked by the fact that a dragon could talk, and wasn't eating him right now! Still shaking, Capper lowered his arms just a little to look at the pleading monster, it's head still lowered, as if submitting to the small saiyan. "...W-what?" Capper spoke, his tone frightened and somewhat shocked, but fear was the dominant tone. The dragon eyed Capper, shaking it's large head before addressing the saiyan once more, it's tone frantic and pleading. "Please, you have to help me! There is no one else I can go to, and I am very short on time!" Capper finally lowered his guard, shock and confusion replacing his terror. Help? Help with what? Why wasn't he still in this monster's stomach? Why come to a weakling like him for help? Again, why wasn't he dead yet?! Shaking his head, Capper barked back to the beast, speaking in a dominant and shocked tone, still somewhat nervous. "W-WHAT?! F-f-first of all... Y-you can talk?!" The dragon rolled it's eyes, speaking in a more neutral tone now, calming down for a moment. "Well, yes. I learned how to from you Earthlings." Earthling... EARTHLING?! Capper was NOT a dumb human or Zoan, mind you! He was a proud saiyan mechanic, part of the best race in the universe and the equally best empire! Barking once more with a little growl, Capper stood up, holding his arms high at his sides. "I AM NOT AN EARTHLING!! Saiyan! Sai-yan! Got that?!" The dragon eyed Capper, closing it's eyes and gritting it's teeth. Shaking it's finned head once more, the beast's frantic tone returned. It was odd- seeing the man-eating beast of a dragon coming to it's prey for help. At least, Capper saw himself as prey to the beast. "Augh! That's hardly the point! I need your help!"
"Even if I were to trust that you weren't gonna eat me, what do you even need help with...?" Capper folded his arms, cheeks puffed out with his eyes closed. The bratty little saiyan's stoic and careless facade soon faded when the beast spoke once more, a look of utter shock, disgust, and horror crossing his face when he realized what the dragon was implying. "My... My child. She killed my wife and..." Oh snap. Capper was the bad guy right now. The father dragon's struggle struck something within Capper. Were his parents like this when he "died" during the Invasion? Were they just as desperate and terrified? Not sure what to say, the now somewhat calm and somewhat sad saiyan spoke to the shining dragon. "Oh... I'm uh, sorry..." Gritting his teeth, the silver beast spoke in a disgusted and begging tone, telling a more detailed tale of what exactly happened. "A despicable woman stole my child in hopes of using her young blood as the last ingredient to her concoction to summon up... something. I don't know-- I was knocked out cold before I could tell what.... So please! You're my only hope, little one!"
Capper pondered for a moment. Should he help the dragon? Capper wasn't sure what he could do to help the beast, but it would be wrong not to help a father save his child... Nodding, Capper agreed to help the beastie. "Fine. But don't call me little, got that?!" Capper spoke, pointing a finger to the beast as it lowered it's head, seeming to submit to the little saiyan. Grateful, the beast spoke in a gratified tone rather quickly. "Oh, thank you!" The beast raised it's head for a moment, approaching the small saiyan as he stood up, clearing his throat to gain the dragon's attention once more. "So, uh, I'm Capper. Capper Hofferson." Capper introduced himself to the thirty-foot-long beastie, who nodded, bowing his massive head as he introduced himself. "Chronos. It is great to meet you, Capper. I am eternally grateful for your aid."
And with that, Capper's scouter let off a few beeps, causing Chronos to raise and tilt his large head. Someone was awfully close now! "Wait! Someone's close!" Capper spoke, looking around with his new dragon companion to pinpoint this new person. Walking into a giant dragon in the fog would be... quite shocking, to say the least.

[HWs ON]
Big Train would burst out through the surrounding foliage, tears streaming down his face. Clearly visible even though his face is mostly covered by a mask. He balls up a fist and raises it into the air, "Big Train heard your story and Big Train is here to help dragon-daddy!". It's clear that he means it, passion dripping from his words. He hated bullies of ALL kinds, having experienced being pick on most of his life. And whoever is doing this to this poor dragon must be one hell of a bully!
Big Train was a strange looking duck. On his body he wore nothing but a red luchador mask with a white star on the front of it, and a pair of hot pink compression shorts with a matching white star on the crotch area. Yet he called this his "Battle Attire". However at the moment, and probably thankfully so, his hot pink compression shorts were being covered by entirely by a brown and red poncho that covered his naked barrel chest and the rest of his body. Going all the way down to about the upper knee area.
The man had nothing else on him it seemed, no gear, no food, no water, no provisions of ANY kind. It's really hard to tell if he is really just that skilled, or just that dang dumb. You see, Big Train was cutting through the Bamboo Forest on his way to a particularly fantastic sweets store he caught wind of over in East City. Big Train loves sweets almost as much as he loves chicken parm! He would blow the last of his prize money from becoming the Junior World Martial Arts Champion. And he would enjoy every single moment of it. But right now, he can't help but offer his assistance to those in such dire need.

Shen walked through the massive set of forest, looking for someone or something. He had been sent on another case though this one had proven to be one with no reavlents to the forest, he was just passing through. The sounds all around him were enthralling, he had never walked through a forest, he had been forced to run through one during a case nearly 50 years ago a smile creeping on the old detective face as he lingered slightly on the past, but then it went all back to Zhao. His former partner, and now greatest foe. The sigh escaped his lips his feet treading on the ground. All the sad emotion only pulled back but he could not worry about that, he was in the forest he had to go through the land in order to reach his destination. His red eyes gleamed through the fog, a very rare sight, he usually tried to hide the demonic gleam but he could not see in the first place so if no one was going to see him it was not like he was going to worry about it. After all, the fog made everyone vision who could be in the forest. He stopped for a moment the faint roar of beasts far away peaked him to listen but attempting to stare and see anything in the sky would prove no good, the sky was covered in that thick fog.
He grumbled, he had heard that his father had been able to see through almost anything, with his powers of course he never payed mind to such techniques he didn't need to see through anything, it was much more experiencing and defining to learn the world through your own eyes not see through people like an ant under a lense. Perhaps at the moment he would be glad to have such a power but no sooner then he began to have these thoughts he could faint footsteps which slowly began louder and louder. He turned as he came face to face with a dragon of some sort his eyes widening for a moment before he pulled his hat down covering said eyes as he let them pull back to their unoriginal but far more natural for him at least color, not red, the color of the demons but a faint blue, one of the ogre's he grew up with. "Seems i stumbled in the wrong place." He admitted stepping back slightly though he made sure to stand his ground somewhat, he was unsure how dragons reacted to fear. Not that he was afraid, he assumed he could. He could hear yelling as someone was yelling at the dragon he blinking, the man sounded like a totally idiot but he was not going to say anything. He bowed his head attempting to step forwards, "I just got here but it seems their some problem prehaps i can be of some assistance."

TOMA THE HEROWhat the hell was with this fog?! First it was Rabiko, then that strange deal in the desert... and now a fog over Bamboo forest?! What the hell was going on right now?! Ugh, this was becoming really annoying. So many weird things were happening right now that Toma just wanted to go home and cuddle on the couch with his family for a few hours. Yeah, that sounded nice... Which was strange, considering his species.
It was even stranger considering his gender. Typically, male Saiyans were the providers for the family, rarely caring for the children outside of combat training. But something had been 'off' with Toma when he was born. A low powerlevel and a natural kindness defined his being, traits which he inherited from both his father and mother. While his mother would never admit it publicly, she was kind, deep down. He saw that in the way she looked at him when he got hurt, and how she so readily accepted him back into her family when she found him again and wanted to get to know him.
Though, at the same time, she also paraded his strength around Vegeta when he had visited... so maybe she wasn't totally good, either.
Still, though, nobody was perfect. Toma knew that. People made mistakes every day. And that's okay, as long as the person in question made an effort to rectify their mistake if it was in their power. Zucceta, for example, helped to collect the dragon balls to undo the damage she had caused. And for that, the Saiyan had nothing but respect for the warrior queen.
Toma, on the other hand, had made many mistakes. He should've been in West City. He should've been in North Capital. He should've been helping on Kanassa, and during the Saiyan Invasion. But he wasn't. No, he was squared away, defending his own family from the vile invaders and insuring their safety during the time his wife had lost her fighting abilities.
One could argue that Toma couldn't be blamed -- assuring the safety of his children and wife first. That was only natural. One could also argue Toma had been selfish, for what good was their safety if the planet had been destroyed? What if he could've made a difference, and his not being there had been the difference between life and death?
Thankfully it wasn't, but Toma dwelled on these thoughts every day, until a strange voice brought him back to reality. A deep, ragged voice, almost sounding of desperation and death. And then there was a second, smaller voice. One that questioned the first, as the first explained a story. Eventually the two silenced as Toma approached, stepping out from the Bamboo, to wave his hand at the pair. If he hadn't lived on Earth as long as he had, he might've been surprised by the talking dragon. "I'm uh... not interupting anything, am I?"

Post by Speenatch on Nov 16, 2016 5:50:16 GMT
Speenatch had been flying over the Bamboo Forest as a part of his ongoing travels. Enjoying the scenery and natural environment. This was way better than the last few places he'd been travelling! Though... he'd lost sight of the road that he'd been following. Either that highway was swallowed up by the tree canopy, or had made a bend somewhere when he wasn't paying too much attention. Either way... he was now lost... for perhaps the umpteenth time. Lost and alone over the forest. Which was probably way better than being lost in the forest.
However, he was still lost. And there was no building or structure in sight. Nothing man-made at all. At least not until he picked up some sort of energy coming from the... West. West of his direction. Hopefully it would turn out to be some fellow fighter training, or a nice hermit. Cause with the amount of power he was sensing, he didn't want to get on the bad side of whoever was its source. Eventually, he lowered himself to skim right over the tree-tops, right as he entered a fog bank. 'Well nuts, now I can't see anything! Ah well, at least I can still rely on my ki sensin' power. Good power to have, glad that was the first thing I learned.'
After quite a few minutes of searching around, he ran into something. Something hard. Something that collided with his head. Something that felt like stone. As such, he let out an "Ow!" before falling from his flight. Right onto a stone floor. After a good few moments, he rose... sloooowly getting up to his feet as his eyes (still behind his stylish shades) adjusted somewhat to the darkness of the... castle? Well, it was a big stone building, so a castle was as good a guess as any.
As he struggled to make out the shapes behind the power he felt, he began to explain himself...
"So uh... sorry fer crashin into yer roof, dudes. I was tryin' to find someone... pretty much anybody that knew the directions to the nearest-" He stopped as his eyes allowed him to actually see everything. And what he saw terrified him.
"GAH, A DRAGON!" Then he turned his head to the left slightly, noticing a man... a man with spiky hair. AND A TAIL! "DOUBLE GAH, A SAIYAN!" The short, but well muscled man (who was wearing a gi of the most GARISH colors) then slowly backed away. Shivering. That Saiyan felt weak, and that dragon didn't seem to be trying to eat him. But the first one could hide his power probably, and the latter was a freaking DRAGON.
"You both better stay away! I uh... I know kickboxin!" He mentally slapped himself for using that as a threat. "...And ki fightin'!"
It was then that he noticed a few familiar faces. One of them being a young man with a luchador outfit on his person. The other? Well he'd watched a fight over the desert that Speenatch had participated in. As such, Speenatch completely forgot his fear and gave them both a smile and a cheerful wave.
"Oh hey Big Train! ...Guy from the desert. How ya dudes been hangin'?"

[Thread PL 3,000]
Like Capper, Taro had been mulling about Earth in search of adventure after the saiyan invasion. Like Capper, Taro proudly served the Saiyan Solar Empire. Like Capper, she wanted to make the most of the peace-time to explore the wonders of this marvelous blue-green gem. And, like Capper, Taro had gotten really, really, lost in all this fog.
Thoughts of Earth filled Taro's head as she walked aimlessly through this fog. The more she explored Earth, the more alien it seemed to her. Landforms and buildings from centuries past still stood defiantly. It's surface offered so much more variety and complexity than planet Vegeta (which was nearly entirely formed of overlapping, blasted-out craters), or planet Namek (which only hosted vast plains of blue grass under a distant green sky.) No, Earth's biomes ranged from freezing mountains that towered high above rolling grassy fields. Endless eolian dunes met with a vast and deep oceans. Here, thick bamboo forests collected dew from the moist heavenly clouds. The variety of landscape was as varied as Earth's many inhabitants. In fact, Taro realized, the people of Earth cared for their planet, deeply. The Earthlings preserved parks, old buildings, ways of life. The saiyans may collectively refer to their way of life as their saiyan pride, but the Earthlings had something else, a history. A history that seemed to live and breath just as much as the Earthlings themselves.
And boy! Could those Earthlings cook! Taro had tasted everything from what the humans called "sushi" and "caviar" to the more refined choices like "burgers." Whether it was dumplings steamed to perfection, pork slow-roasted over a maple fire, or cereal splashed with a bit of milk, all the Earth-food melted in her mouth, and always left her satisfied at a good meal. These humans and zoans were so much more creative when it came to their cuisine, and Taro would be the first to admit that their food easily trumped any military saiyan rations. Taro idly wondered if there was anywhere else that offered such delicious meals. Personally, she doubted it.
Distracted by the thought of food, Taro bumped strait into the castle's crumbly stone wall. This building was much different than any of the others. It didn't have any humans to care for it. It reminded her of ancient Tuffle ruins back home: decrepit and abandoned for. However, even here Earth differed. The ruins on Vegeta were devoid of life, but Earth's ruins were overgrown by plants, ever striving to grow upward, out of the thick fog, and into the sunlight. What's more, inside Taro could hear different people conversing. Maybe these ruins were not so abandoned as she thought. Taro eavesdropped on the conversation from outside.
Moved by the dragon's plight, Taro waited until the time was right before making her entrance: "I don't know who more than half of you are," She smiled, "but you can count me in!"

Post by Collan Vixen on Nov 16, 2016 15:23:47 GMT
Thread PL: 15,854 Collan had been flying through the air, he had been trying to see how fast he could go. When it came to fighting, Collan's greatest focuses were Ki and speed, he hadn't taken too much of a liking to raw strength, though it's not like he didn't have it. Besides, he knew Jormungandr had mostly fought with her pure strength, so he thought this could give him an advantage.
He had been flying for a couple of hours though, perhaps he should rest. Landing on the ground, the hero in training looked at his surroundings. It seems he had found himself in a very dark, decrypted forest. He very much did not enjoy this, though he had to deal with it. Though later, he had gotten intrigued.
Now, he was walking around, thinking perhaps he could find something interesting. That he did, he had sensed two familiar energies. First was Capper, that was an easy one. But he had also sensed the one he knew as Toma. But he also sensed 3 other energies, but he didn't hear any sounds of battle so perhaps it was fine.
Glad there were familiar faces around, Collan ran over to them. Where he immediately became wide eyed. There was a dragon in front of him, a dragon! Dragons are like, the coolest thing! Giant reptiles that could fly and shoot fire! But then something else caught his attention, something that had almost made Collan forget the dragon existed.
"Capper! Your leg!" Making a B line for the small Saiyan friend of his, he quickly picked him up and inspected the leg. "Who did this to you!? Was it Jormungandr!? I'll kick her ass!" He dropped Capper, reminding himself Jormungandr still wasn't quote on quote "good".
My love for WoF is intensifying.

KEY "Chronos Dialogue" "Capper's Normal Dialogue" 'Capper's Telepathy' 'Capper's Thoughts'
DUNGEONS, DRAGONS, AND MORE DRAGONS Capper let out an audible high-pitched yelp, quickly hiding behind Chronos' massive talons when some of the foliage nearby rustled quickly, catching the little saiyan off guard. Chronos growled for a moment, protectively winging his long tail around Capper and watching the rustling patch of grass, but was quickly taken aback at what came out of the tall grass... It was...! A...! Rather crudely dressed man that had broken down into tears after seemingly eavesdropping and listening to Chronos' tale... Capper should have known to expect such a thing- he was on Earth still, after all. Still, the saiyan mechanic yelped again, hiding behind the dragon's leg before peeking his head out when the strange man offered to help Chronos and Capper save the dragon's young. Capper peered put from behind Chronos, tilting his head and looking at the stranger from head to toe. He didn't seem very prepared for a big adventure like this... Before Capper himself could question this weirdo, Chronos chimed in, approaching this "Big Train" fellow and bowing his head. The dragon, unlike Capper, decided not to question the oddly dressed man and decisively accepted the help, much to the saiyan's dismay. Capper looked at Chronos in confusion as the dragon spoke. "...Very well. I appreciate the help, human. Welcome aboard." Capper blinked a few times, glancing from Chronos to Big Train. "...So are we not going to question the fact that he's--"
Oh, but the train of newcomers had not stopped yet! Next up, Chronos and Capper would turn their heads to see another man with rather concealing clothes. He quickly pulled his hat down to cover his eyes as Chronos lowered his long neck once more. A single breath from the dragon's nostrils swept upon Shen. Even a single casual breath from Chronos was quite powerful- it would most likely be more than enough to blow the man's hat right off unless he caught hold of it. The second stranger spoke of coming into "the wrong place", causing Chronos to narrow his glowing yellow eyes. His head quickly moved close to Shen as the dragon sniffed him while Capper still meekly peeked at the detective from behind the dragon's leg. Chronos picked up a multitude of unidentifiable scents on Shen, but there was plenty of smells from the Bamboo Woods on his form. How long had he been in here? Moving his head away as Shen offered his assistance, Capper was the one to speak up, cutting off Chronos before the dragon could even speak. "Jeez! Where are you guys coming from?!" Capper spoke, looking at Shen suspiciously. It had taken him hours to get to this point in the castle on foot- and he had made plenty of wrong turns inside the medieval labyrinth. Shaking his head, Capper still peered out from behind the dragon's leg, speaking again. "But the assistance is something we are grateful for- although I cannot guarantee that we will come out of this in one piece..."
Capper wasn't sure what he was in for or where this mystery woman had taken Chronos' hatchling, but it certainly was not a safe or happy place. Capper found himself questioning his surroundings as his scouter buzzed once more, revealing yet another presence nearby. This power was quite strong, but not the strongest Capper had ever seen. The Solar Saiyan's tail swung to and fro as Toma stepped out of some bamboo petering out of the castle's sides, asking if he was interrupting something. Capper and Chronos shook their heads, both speaking in rather blunt tones. "Nope." "Not really." Capper cleared his throat, stepping out hesitantly from behind Chronos' leg, arms behind his back as he spoke in a meek, yet brave tone. Capper had seen a lot of things during his time on Earth, and this was just one to add to the pile. But it was best to explain what was going on here. "We're just about to go off to save this guy's son. Long story short, some lady, uh... killed his wife and took his son for a demonic sacrifice." Capper spoke, gesturing to Chronos, who lowered his head, looking rather distraught when Capper brought up his now passed wife and son who would likely meet the same fate. But before Capper and Chronos could speak-- yet ANOTHER person quite literally crashed in, falling from the sky!
Capper yelped in surprise when Speenatch fell down into the ruined hall, hiding behind Chronos again. When he peered out once more, Capper's expression became blank... What was this guy wearing?! He was almost as ridiculous as this "Big Train" guy! The colorful human began to explain himself, but terror quickly wiped across the earthling's face when he caught eye of the mighty dragon in front of him. Capper pulled down his eyelid and poked out his tongue when the human freaked out at the sight of the ever so weak saiyan mechanic. The odd human tried to threaten the dragon and saiyan, which only caused the newfound duo to exchange glances. He seemed to calm down at the sight of the other warriors that had gathered here, apparently forgetting about the mighty dragon in front of him. Capper was quite done talking now- he didn't want to tell the same sad story three times in a row.
Fifth came another saiyan, causing a faint smile to spread across Capper's face. He was always glad to see some of his brethren- it kind of reminded him of home to simply see another saiyan. This one had eavesdropped as well, and asked to be included in their little adventure, to which Chronos nodded and spoke again. "W-well! I'm not certain where all of you came from, but aid is greatly appreciated. I can't do this alone." Finally, Capper let out another high-pitched yelp when Collan dashed out of the shadows and plucked him off the ground, looking at the saiyan's peg-leg. Capper shook his head quickly when he asked if Jor did it. "N-no! It was this super selfish and crazy saiyan dude named uh... Duri? Yeah, Duri! He's a buttface!" Capper pouted, his tail lashing as he was held in the air as he recalled the saiyan's selfish actions. He just wanted a fight, and ruined EVERYTHING for him during his last adventure! Capper just hoped his next team would actually listen to him...
After being set down, Capper looked up to Chronos, and his newfound team of the sort. "Hey, Chronos! Down here!" Capper called to his new partner as the dragon lowered his head, raising his ear a little as Capper whispered into it, and nodded when the saiyan was done talking privately to him. Joy flashing across Capper's face, Capper quickly climbed atop Chronos' head. The dragon raised his head with Capper on it, while the saiyan perched heroically on top of the dragon's head, speaking in a dignified and courageous tone. "Ahem! It seems like most of you want to help us! Great!" Capper clung onto Chronos's fin-like ear for balance, pointing forward. He was not going to make the same mistakes as last time, and certainly did not want his "teammates" to ruin it for him again. "So, team! As your magnificent leader, I for one say we get a move on! Tick tock, tick tock, every second we're getting closer to that poor baby dragon being sacrificed to demons!" The self-proclaimed leader sat down on Chronos' head, gripping onto his ears like they were some type of steering wheel. Raising his wings high, Chronos let out a proud roar before lowering his body and spreading out one wing for the others to climb onto him for a ride if they could not fly. "So, what are we waiting for?! Let's go-- I can't be the only one who wants to ride a dragon!"

(Short post but I'm feeling a bit under the weather and don't want to hold anything up)
He would give a bow back to the beautiful dragon, "I can't just sit by and let such a terrible thing happen!" he gives an embarrassed smile. Despite all his bolster, deep down Big Train was a bashful man. The only thing concealing his crippling embarrassment was the mask covering his face. Then suddenly everyone starting pouring in. Well, like his master had said, the world truly is a small place. He had ran into most of these guys before, one way or another. He was really glad to see Mister Steel though, that guy had real style.
He'd wave directly at Mister Steel and greet him with a big dumb smile, "Hey man, nice to see you again!". He'd follow it up with a general wave to everyone else, "Hey guys, most of us have met but for those that haven't, the names Big Train" he'd flash his million dollar smile again, or so he'd like to think. After everyone had seemed to calm down Big Train would respond to Capper, uncharacteristically serious, "Yeah, we can't waste time guys. We need to get a move on as soon as possible". He would then climb atop the dragon, all 250+ pounds of him.

He turned as it seemed another person entered the scene but the puff of air from the dragon caused him to slid back he grabbing his hat with one hand it pulled up enough to show the grey set of hair he had underneath his hat, the hair being quite long as he pulled his hat back down with a thud it being pulled down quite hard. He looked up his eyes filled with somberness though he had begun to laugh. This dragon was playing a joke with him or at least he assumed. He coughed stopping his laughing as he turned facing the incoming saiyan he turning to bow. "Greetings." He said as he turned hearing more shouts and talking as if someone else had arrived. He looked at capper first as he asked something about how he got here, "I walked, i been in places like this before i work as a detective you see, i been in many places like this looking for things for my clients and personal reasons." He left it at that, he was not going to tell the saiyan child he was here to hunt for a demonic ogre who wanted to kill everything that moved, might scare the pour lad and it was his job to fix it not someone else, he failed to stop his old friend one he had to stop him before he did more harm.
He turned around as another man walked in yelling about about dragons and saiyans, which they were plenty of but no need to scream like a baby. He walked up putting a hand on speech shoulder, "Its alright this saiyans and the dragon are very nice." He said turning to face the young saiyan boy before he could hear more noise and rustling of the leaves as another person had seemed to arrive, "It must be quite convenient that some many people are in the same area." He grumbled, he knew something he could not see was amidst but what. He saw another saiyan, a lady this time Shen bowing to her as well, "Greetings, saiyan i am glad we will have so much support to help in this pour dragons plight." He was happy people were coming to the dragons aid and not for selfish reasons. It brought joy to his heart, a heart that was littered with thorns from so many horrible deeds he had seen and so many horrible people he had let live to follow his code, people who had complete darkness and no reason to live.
Shen heard the pounding as another boy rushed up yelling at the young saiyan capper, then capper brought up duri his eyes widening, "He did that too, i know who he is, son of a bitch was also in south city threatening to kill some humans, but that was about a month ago." He said turning to capper looking at his peg leg, "I'm sorry that someone took your foot from you, no one deserves that." He looked at the kid with sadness, how could people be so cruel and selfish. He had meet many and this was one more that just hardened his beliefs. Their was no redemption, legs don't grow back but it seemed forgiveness now a day grew on tree's. He founded it simple, Those who committed sin went to hell, and those who didn't heaven he was glad that prehaps the saiyan would go to hell but on the other hand he would most likely escape, he was powerful he felt it, though compared to the gi wearing saiyan from earlier he was an ant, hell had a spike of escapes, it was to an extreme degree, the gavel being slammed by ogre leaders who punished lesser ogre's in their failings to stop other ogre's. He just stared outward for a moment before shaking his head, this was not time to think into a tangent. "Whatever the case, i assume you have a plan and want to move out as soon as possible i am ready when you are captain Capper." The kid was playing a leader game it seemed, and he was indulged to follow.

TOMA THE HERO"What "What?!" Toma exclaimed as the dragon and the saiyan explained what was going on. Someone had killed this dragons mate and taken his son as a sacrifice?! The mere thought of it made Toma's blood boil -- being a father himself, he knew he'd go through hell and back to make sure anyone who harmed his children had their head removed.
Toma's golden aura began to seep out in his rage, his hair standing on end and his eyes turning teal. His power shot up to around 500,000, though his hair stayed it's typical sayian shade of black. He brought his hands up, punching his left palm with his right fist, his anger clear on his face. He wasn't really caring about whomever else was around. His mind was focused on one thing -- rescuing that child. "Let's go! I'll roll that womans head right off her shoulders! If there's one thing I can't stand, it's attacking a defenseless child!"
And with that, he shot off into the sky, following the dragon and the others.

Speenatch was... confused. What were people all agreeing to? Whose kid was kidnapped?! ...Who was the detective looking fellow that had patted him on the shoulder like he knew him? Oh no... he hated when there was someone that remembered who he was, but he himself had forgotten who that person was. He just gave the detective a double-finger-gun motion while nervously smiling.
"Right, I'll uh... keep that in mind uh... yoooooouuuuu." After that, the stout man was silent. He just let everyone else talk while he adjusted his not-a-cloak and the straps of his supply pack. Eventually, he pieced it together... the dragon's kid had been stolen. Which raised a few questions. What kind of monster were they dealing with?! Both literally and metaphorically. Who was strong enough to take a dragon, even just a baby? And finally... why?
Well, it didn't matter to Speenatch. He knew what he had to do. Especially since everyone else had already agreed to it. Piggy-backing off of everyone's words of affirmation, he held up his fist. Then placed his other hand upon his bicep while flexing it...
"Well, I'm not entirely sure what's goin on. But whatever it is, it sounds like a hero's job. Which means it's a job fer someone like me." He then took in a deep breath, gasping down air through his mouth. The reason? The following shout as he began a series of poses.
The first was a weird, hunched position. Both of his legs were bent, both of his arms were curled up to flex and show the muscle. "THE UNBREAKABLE..." He quickly took another position, this time moving to get into a kickboxing stance. His legs were shoulder-width apart, with one behind the other. His fists were raised up near his face, before he gave a few shadow-jabs. "MISTER...." It was time for the final pose... This one, he once again hunched his back. His legs bent, while his feet were moved so that he stood upon the tips of his toes. Meanwhile, he thrust his arms out, each one carrying a "victory" or "peace" sign on them. "STEEEEEEEEEEEL!!!!!"
After that little show, he straightened back up and cleared his throat. His arms crossed as he floated up above the stone floor, "And uh, I'm fine on ridin' the dragon, thanks. I can fly." Truth be told, he would have loved to have ridden upon the back of a dragon. That was the coolest possible thing for someone to do! However... he felt kind of awkward after the whole "showing fear before threatening the dragon with violence" thing. And the dragon might take umbrage with him riding on it. Maybe on the way back after he'd helped with saving the kid, he'd be able to ask for a ride.
