[Thread PL: 20,000 | Tekuma Mayakon ] Freid still felt sick to his stomach, despite it being quite empty now. Closing his eyes just made vivid images of the giant monkey, then the dead girl on the floor and her monster of a mother re-appear, as well as his combined attack with Tekuma that had assured the woman's timely death. She had deserved that and far worse for endangering Konats, but it was still difficult to rationalize executing someone as being justified and correct... But that was his burden as the protector of this planet. And as a protector, he now knew more about Dr. Breech - enough to realize that Cipher and Aina had been correct. Something here was off, even if RED was his friend and the cyborgs spreading over the planet so far seemed nice enough. Stumbling into a store while wiping off his mouth - he still had the taste of vomit in it - the young Konatsian looked around. He needed something to drink - possibly alcoholic and able to wake him up - before continuing on. He had to return home, and finish the last touches to his project... Then he could finally work on his real goal, to become strong enough to defend his homeworld. Or at least the goal that had been set for him since the moment he was born, but what else was he really going to do with his life? Not to mention that Konats needed him, or someone like him at least. Someone born here, who had the best interests of the people at heart. If simply being born here and being powerful were enough, then Plato or Carama could've protected this world - but the former was a megalomaniac and the latter followed the orders of insane bigots willingly once. Freid couldn't trust either of them - not that he even knew where Plato was, for he had never met the former king. But as Freid grabbed two drinks from a rack and moved towards the counter, he spotted a familiar face he had seen only moments before - a fellow redhead, and a cyborg that he could trust. "...Hey there, Tekuma." He wanted to say more, but couldn't bring himself to do so, but his grim facial expression probably spoke leagues about how he still felt.

Tekuma was sitting not too far away, the child in her arms getting a few glances from other people around her. The age Tekuma looked was around 14, but in all reality she was seventeen. Baby Silk was thankfully asleep, giving the teen cyborg a minute to rest her head tiredly on the counter. She didn't have much time to rest nowadays, and for some reason everyone she asked had NO GOD DAMN COFFEE.
Out of /all/ things these beings don't have, it's the one thing I need. Where the hell can I get my fucking coffee on this dirtball.. Grumbled the redhead internally, but putting on face when Freid came up to her. "Hello yourself. It seems you didn't like viewing that scene. My olfactory sensors can pick up on the bile odor coming from your mouth. Are you alright?" Of course, she was tired as hell, but nothing too bad..

"Sorry about that... I've just never had to basically execute someone before. But it had to be done." answering with a grimace, Freid offered the cyborg girl one of the drinks he had just gotten - they were rather simple bottles. She looked a bit young - what was it with him and young-looking androids and cyborgs? - but after what they had just gone through, she certainly earned herself something for some relaxation. If it would even work, with her being a cyborg and all... "I'm alright, no need to worry. Here, this stuff is good at really waking someone up. You look like you could use it just as well as me. I was actually about to go to bed when that monkey business started."With a smile, Freid sat down next to the girl from Earth, while giving the child she was carrying around now a strange look. So this was the daughter of the madwoman that had tried to kill them, same as the giant monkey? Then they should probably make sure this little girl didn't also transform into a giant monkey, he had no idea how to deal with something like that without potentially harming a little girl. Not that he knew how to deal with a little girl to begin with... Everything was starting to be way over his head. But Tekuma seemed pretty strong and calm for the kind of situations they had gotten into - really, besides her little argument with RED, she seemed very in control of herself and the situations they found themselves in. "You really surprised me out there, you know. I can't sense your energy at all, so when you just stopped that energy arrow... I would've had trouble actually doing anything against it. Are there many people on Earth that are as strong as you?"--- Tekuma Mayakon

Tekuma sighed, taking the drink and popping the lid. She'd drink it before belching slightly and blushing faintly, setting it down on the counter. So far, it wasn't doing much for her except make her whiplike tail twitch slightly. He began to speak, to which she listened. "Indeed, you cannot. We have synthetic ki in cases of androids, however I activated my transformation. By overclocking my systems, I had power to tank that attack and to charge one of my own in order to take her out."
Drinking a bit more, for some weird reason it tasted rather delicious. The baby was curled close to her chest, the cyborg's organic arm carefully cradling the orphaned child. "There are people far stronger than I on the planet. The android other than myself was stronger, and the thing with the tail was also stronger than myself." Chuckling, she knew she'd been in quite a lot of stuff, and was feeling a bit weird.

Synthetic Ki - that explained it, obviously. He couldn't trace something that was just a well-made fake with a sense made to detect the natural energy of life - no copy would ever be just like the real thing, at least not in feeling. In power, it was certainly equal, if not greater, than the energy of life. And overclocking her systems - that sounded a lot like the Full Focus mode pure-blooded Konatsians were able to access. Sadly he himself lacked such an ability, or he'd be far better at being a protector already... Opening up his own drink and nearly emptying half of it at once, he almost immediately felt re-invigorated by it. Some light alcohol and caffeine was just what he needed to be back in action, and Tekuma seemed to be enjoying the traditional Konatsian beverage as well. "I see... So Cipher is even stronger. I have a lot of work to do, then... If I want to protect my planet." With a nod, Freid gave the cyborg girl a smile. "Still, you ARE impressive. Have you ever trained someone? Or do you know someone who is good at training others? I fear that I've reached about as much as I can without further guidance in my own growth. Maybe someone back on Earth, even - I was planning on visiting your planet soon. I've got reasons to believe that... Well..." Looking around for a moment to make sure that nobody else was listening in, Freid lowered his voice. "Dr. Breech has an insane amount of power too. He could've stopped the rebels that attacked the declaration of the new king single-handedly, and the weird guy with the tail could've done so too. I don't think that RED is a bad person, but I don't think that I can trust Breech and the others that are with her in that group... So I need to get stronger to make sure they don't harm Konats." --- Tekuma Mayakon

Tekuma downed about two thirds of the bottle, leaving only a third left as she belched again. Half listening now, she chuckled for pretty much no reason. "Nope. I don't know how to fight either hahaha.... my cybernetics do it all for me. I'm a scientist, not a fighter. Mean yeah, sure I could train you, but.." Putting the bottle down, a bit roughly, her green synthetic eye would glare at him. "No telling if my cybernetics would show you mercy. Mean yeah, they wouldn't kill you, but not promising I won't beat the hell out of you."
The more important information he gave her, the important parts would burn to the hard drive of bluenet access despite being a bit drunk. Well, maybe not a bit, she was flushed and still giggling for no reason. "Well then, if you got a ship I reckon we hightail it to Earth so I can talk to my superiors. I came here to study life and not get the ever living shit beat out of me by some psycho woman."

Had Tekuma always been this... jovial and happy? He was pretty sure that that wasn't the case, but Freid had no idea what could've caused the change in her. Emptying the rest of his drink, he nodded towards her. So she was a scientist... She was actually quite similar to him, then, in some ways. He was an engineer, after all! A spaceship engineer, even. Possibly the only one on all of Konats! And he had little desire to get pummeled by a bunch of cybernetics that did the fighting for the girl. He doubted that he could learn much from that, after all.
"To Earth it is, then! I do in fact have a spaceship. Probably the only true Konatsian spaceship that has been built in... Well I have no idea, really." saying that with a bit of pride in his voice, Freid stood back up and had to steady himself for a second... He had forgotten that on an empty stomach, even a light drink could have an effect. And NOW it dawned on him what had happened to Tekuma... Woops. Oh well, there was no way THIS would end badly... right? As long as she kept that tail in check, at least...
"Alright... We're gonna have to fly over to my village first, though. You ready?"

Tekuma hadn't eaten in a while, so she downed the rest of her drink and ended up breaking the bottle by gripping it too hard, giggling as she nodded. "Yeaaaha.... I'm shure. Cmon letz gu.." She lifted into the air, shaking a little bit and still giggling, her tail waving behind her almost like a propellor to an airplane. Internally, the only thing keeping Tekuma from being nearly incapacitated from the alcohol was the small part of her brain that was cybernetic; and her robotic heart.
"You take forEVER... Cmon...." Pouted the cyborg, before busting up in a brand new fit of laughter. The kid she held in her arms was fast asleep, feminine instincts telling her to not let go of the innocent thing at all costs.

By the stars, this wasn't going to go well. Tekuma had probably not even noticed what she just did to that bottle - and the Konatsian was suddenly very happy that she had not tried holding onto him to steady herself, for he liked it when his bones were NOT broken in multiple places. With a nervous smile, the hybrid ascended into the air as well - best not to keep the drunk cyborg waiting. As he did so, he had to avoid the swinging tail of the cyborg or he would've probably gotten some important bit of himself sliced off - or even worse, part of his impressive, spiky red hair.
"R-right! After me!" Waving for her to follow him, Freid took to the sky, not quite at his full speed yet. He didn't exactly want to lose a drunk cyborg-girl on the way to his home, which could easily happen, considering how much ground, deserts and steppes they had to cover to reach his home... Well, with any luck, he wouldn't run into the Inquisition this time, at least. Or into RED. He liked that little android, but he doubted that their friendship was enough to excuse him doubting her companions... "Just follow right after me. Should only take around half an hour to reach my home at this speed!"

Tekuma followed him, her vision hazy and ended up crashing into a rock wall after a while. Shaking her head, she cursed in a completely different language and kept flying with Freid, holding the baby in her arms firmly yet not enough to wake or freak out the child. Once they landed, she plopped down on her rear with a semi derpy look on her face, a clear smile plastered onto it.
Did she feel awake? Yes. The alcohol pumping through her systems was strong enough to basically make her derp, but it was already beginning to wear off to her, and probably the Konatsian's dismay. She likely had to go to bed before it wore off, or the spiky redhead would get an important part of himself sliced off thanks to the cyborg with a soon-to-be hangover.

Apart from that one frontal crash, the flight went comparatively smoothly, really. Freid had kept an eye out to make sure nobody was following them - with the influx of cyborgs and androids, he couldn't trust on his natural senses to be enough to pick someone up behind him, he had to actively look around... This whole experience was quickly sobering him up, but he'd rather not experience what exactly Tekuma would be like once this all was over. He had to get her to IT, and fast. As they landed, the Konatsian sent a simple telepathic message to his mother and village elders, explaining what he was doing - and what he had to do in the future. Leading the cyborg holding the baby into the shed behind his house - a rather large barn, really - he flicked a small bolt of lightning at some candles to ignite them, throwing pale light at a very large object hidden under a brown tarp. Without nearly as much ceremony as he had hoped, Freid walked up to his hidden creation, revealing the spaceship he had built from old designs of his father combined with the arcane technology of Konats. The size of the ship really was impressive for a one-man job. It basically had the shape and size of a small cargo plane - not that Freid knew what a 'plane' was - with a clear glass cover for the cockpit and some living quarters for up to three people, as well as a larger area in the back that was still free and could possibly be used to house some facility eventually. With a push of a button on the side, the spaceship sprung to life - a very soft, pleasant hum, as the arcane engine came online. On the side of the ship, a door slid open. Freid turned around to Tekuma with another smile. "This... is the Epoch. Come on in, I'll show you a room, then I can pilot us into orbit and get us towards Earth in no time."

Tekuma let Freid lead her inside, her hand on his shoulder was almost a death grip to put it kindly. She gazed at the ship, tilting her head as a small pain was growing in the back of her head. They went inside to which a small pop would occur once they reached her room; putting a crib to set the child in before she laid on the bed. Chuckling for no reason, her hand twitched as her headache was beginning to grow...

The Konatsian was rotating and rubbing his shoulder the moment Tekuma let go of it with a single tear in the corner of one of his eyes. Just how strong WAS this cyborg girl?! Well, no time to dwell on that. Once he was inside the ship, Freid hit the sealing button on the inside - the door sealed itself shut. Really, there wasn't too much room inside - the hallway of the three cabins and single bathroom that lead up to a small ladder leading into the cockpit wasn't even large enough to let two people walk past each other without them having to squeeze sideways. But for now, he was damn proud of his Epoch, and what he had accomplished here. The metal plates of the ground, walls and ceiling all looked like they had been fused from countless pieces of metal, not being nearly as smooth as the outside walls of the ship - but the atmosphere inside was pretty calm and gentle. The engine hidden below, only accessible through a small hatch in the middle of the corridor, was humming quietly, waiting for someone to start up the ship.
After the cyborg sat down, Freid gave her a questioning look. "You should probably lay down a bit. Don't worry, the Epoch flies very gently. ... Or at least it should."
With that, he climbed up the ladder to the cockpit - three leather chairs, two in the back right next to where the ladder came up, and one right in the front, with the control instruments right there. Squeezing through the cramped space, Freid sat down in the pilot's seat of his very own spaceship - he allowed himself a moment to marvel at how well it had all fit together. Then, he flipped the remote control switch, and the roof of the barn slid away to both sides. Then, he slowly pushed a lever forward, causing the spaceship to begin ascending vertically up - the engine below didn't even make a sound, and the movement was barely noticeable. Then, once they were outside of the barn, Freid put one hand on his steering and the other next to his multitude of levers, controlling altitude, accelerations and orientation of the artificial gravity - then, he pushed the one forward to let them ascend to maximum, and the Epoch shot upward like a shooting star going back up into the sky, surrounded by a brilliant white blur of energy.
