Thread PL: 14,277 PL, Medium Weights Active, Gravity X30 in Effect
Before coming to Namek and landing on it for the second time in her life Jeanne took a small detour and went back to the planet she had bought her hunting bow and new, medium sized training weights at. The people there were nice so when she suddenly came in with 8500 Zeni to buy items from their small colony they obliged her. A traveling space merchant offered her a Rejuvenation Tank at a hefty price, a family of four moving off world back to Earth wanted her to buy their house for the cost of a Basic Space Ship, and last but not least someone offered her a Senzu Bean and a X50 Gravity Chamber for a safe journey to Namek.
With all these things in hand Denim went back to the first person and asked, "I intend to do some heavy gravity training while in space at least one do you think it will hurt body?"
The merchant looked at her and said as he examined her rotund figure, "Probably... But the Rejuvenation Tank should mitigate the damage as long as you don't overwork yourself." He could clearly see she was pregnant, but noticed underneath all the extra body fat clinging to her was some well-toned muscles. "And you're a martial artist, no doubt you should be okay if you use my machine immediately after training. It's meant to heal and boost power after severe wounds after all."
Denim clasped his hands suddenly very tightly and stuttered, "Than-Thank you." It had been what she had been wanting to hear for a long time. Due to her increased body weight and the extra care she had to place on the baby she felt she couldn't do martial arts training anymore. She had tried before with her bow to do some exercises and that had worked out fine, but anything beyond that just seemed impossible. It bothered her and made things boring.
Her grip now was like an iron bear trap and the man could feel the power in her palms crushing his fingers. "You're welcome..." he groaned before she let go of him. That was when he noticed the reason the grip had been so strong was due to some weighted wrist bands attached to her hands.
Denim would run off with her stuff back to her ship and when she left the merchant muttered, "Damn, that woman was holding back. I nearly lost my hand." He shook his fingers out and watched the woman leave behind a small dust cloud as she dashed off. He had no idea how strong she was though for a human it had to be freakishly so. After all, his years of training had barely gotten him to 100 PL. Denim, without him knowing, 285 times stronger then him on a normal day.
When she got back to her vessel she stepped inside the main room then headed back into the tail of the ship on the second floor where she would set up her gravity machine in here training room. This would be its permanent home, despite the area being quite small, she made sure all the wires and devices were cleared from the area she didn't need and plugged it into the wall to start it up. Next, she set up her Rejuvenation Tank in the back corner. Finally, she turned on a dial on the top of her gravity machine to a third setting that read X30 gravity. This was going to be her first time doing this, but she didn't mind. The weight immediately kicked in and she felt her whole spine quiver under the new weight. At 155 lbs. the pressure from the machine made it seem like she was two and a half tons. She'd slowly step across the room finding herself having to exert a tremendous amount of force just to step over some bar bells she left on the ground by accident.
"Urgh..." she groaned as she lifted her foot over a set of five pound pink ones she had on her tiled floor. "Can't believe I still own those." She wanted to train really hard before but now saw them as a nuisance as she walked over them in some sandals she wore. She also had on black spats and a gray tube-top that allowed her fecund belly to hang out. This was to make herself as comfortable as possible for the coming efforts.
She'd make her way across the room though to the opposite side where she'd turn and stare down a poster on the other side of the room she had just come from. It read, "Fight like you mean it!" and showed two humans throwing kicks at each other. It was a motivational thing she had collected in the past when she was younger but now that she looked at it the thing was kind of drab.
"I'll use it as a target I guess..." She told herself. Resting on the side of the room she was standing in was her bow and arrow set. When she wasn't used them she stored them in her training area for safekeeping. It was time though to see what she could do with the arrows she had.
She'd lift the bow in her hands, nearly spending seven minutes just to get it to chest height and flip it around so the bend of it pointed towards her target. Next, she'd pull back on the yarn-flax tying the two arms together and notch an arrow to them. Her blue eyes heavily focusing on the target and for the next hour she aimed at it, intending to do three hundred shots, and fired. Her intention was to create a technique that used arrows with ki. The first ten flew through the arrow and bounced off the metal walls of the room way far to the left or right of her intended bulls-eye zone. The second twenty she put some ki into but they were so hard to fire under the increased gravity they burst into flame mid-shot and turned into ashes. Her eyes widened at this for she was afraid she might have the place catch fire. She tried again a fourth time and this time managed to get sixty arrows to hit close to the bulls-eye, however, none had the ki in them she wanted them to.
At this point she was now sweating beyond belief. She kept firing though and found that the next five arrows as she pulled back her string properly took on her ki and became enveloped in them, however, they didn't hit anywhere near the target and bounced off the walls before fizzling out. She kept practicing and despite the heavy, nerve dulling sensation she felt in her arms managed to perfect an arrow by her 190th shot that could hit her bull-eyes and had blue ki in it. They soared in such a way they looked like a blue stream of light when they loosed. She would then look at her walls and notice that there were quite a number of scratches on them. Yet where the target was there were a number of arrows solidly pierced into the old poster she owned.
She smirked at herself happy at her accomplishment and state, "I think I'll call this new technique Beam Arrow," she liked the name and felt even though she did feel her full ki now going into each of her shots that it was enough to cause some people a scare. She slowly set her bow on the ground and used her tired hands to fish a cloth out of her pocket. After wiping down the arms of her bow she'd walk across the room, pull her arrows of the wall and throw away her ripped poster. Then she spent the rest of her time in the gravity chamber using this cloth and some sealing martial to repair the scratches on her wall. When done with this her aching muscles felt like they might spasm any moment so she stepped towards her new healing tank, pressed a button and climbed in. The last thing she remembered was Jacuzzi bubbles surrounding her and healing her worn out frame.

APPROVED by Bing Gan Beam Arrow (N1 Tier Technique)- With her new bow and arrow set equipped Denim notches an arrow to the bow string over top the elastic limbs of her bow and pulls back hard. Then she infuses ki into the full shaft of the arrow and fires off the arrow in a stream of blue light. The arrow flies on a set trajectory in front of her and hits the opponent in the form of a cutting beam of light. After doing this the arrow then disappears into thin air.
