Dazed and lying on the ground, Fleece looked up at Jax with a hazy look in his eyes as his vision blurred somewhat. The adversary stood over him, lecturing him on his evil ways and where they had landed him. Though it was hard for him to think, Fleece felt a wave of guilt wash over him. Had he really lost his way? He sniffled a little bit, holding back a tear. He wanted to be the coolest of cool, and he had done a lot of bad things to get where he was. Through it all, he had never really had someone else looking out for him.
Jax let out a hand, offering forgiveness. He also even offered to help him reform. But alas, Fleece couldn’t imagine a life of piousness.... But perhaps, he could try.
The panda took Jax’s offered hand and stood up, panting for breath as he tried to recover. He was a little wobbly, but managed to keep himself standing.
“I could be… your sidekick?” Fleece asked slowly. It wasn’t the most noblest of things, as he had a personal stake in working with Jax. First of all, he could try to learn his super secret moves. Secondly, he would be able to work with JimJohn Fightman! Still though, perhaps even if he weren’t truly reformed as of now, he might be able to be shown the path of redemption.

"Side...kick...?" This panda seemed to be full of surprises. Never before did Jax have a sidekick, not even in any of the parts he played. Audiences hated sidekicks, he was told, and took attention away from the main character. Plus, he wasn't even that big on the concept of sidekicks in the first place. It'd be too much responsibility, and every action he'd no longer be just for himself, but for someone else's wellbeing as well. Seeing this as the panda's confessing to want to change, along with noticing just how much he admired Jax (and I mean, who could blame him), the master of educational marital arts tried his best to assist the criminal. "No. You could be my partner, my partner of justice. Because when you walk alongside the lady know as morality, everyone who does so with you becomes your ally! And that my fine friend, is the way she goes!"
Feeling he had pitched the ways of good well enough to the pandaman, Jax gave a wink and another unneeded smile, much like he did at the end of various episodes of his television series.
"So, you ready to become a hero? If the answer is no, I'll hang to stop you, right here, right now. But if you choose to follow me, to take the other option, you can leave here a better man...or panda...or alien thing." Jax's eyes shifted up towards the air for a moment, turning to piece together exactly what he was talking to. Figuring it as not important for now, he tried to see if there was anything left for him to say. "The choice is your's. Mind you, you should do whatever the beat of your heart compels you to do, as that can never lead you astray!"

Fleece dusted himself off, scratching at the burned smiley face on his stomach from Jax’s attack. He wasn’t really sure if he would be able to be a do gooder, but it wasn’t like he was the most evil thing around right? Maybe he stole here and there, and whatnot, but certainly he wasn’t the worst thing around. He could do some good, and what Jax didn’t know wouldn’t hurt him.
“Right, partner,” Fleece said. Lifting a boxing glove as if to shake hands with Punchlust. A part of him wanted to cheapshot him, but this was one of his heroes. If it had been someone else, he would definitely have abused the situation. But for now, there was much to learn.
Fleece then poofed on a new outfit, a purple suit that seemed to be somewhat matching that of Jax’s, complete with a white bag. His shades had appeared on his face, and he gave Jax a hearty thumbs up and a smile. Still, he felt a bit of pain from the blow he had been given, and he then clutched at his belly for a moment.
“So how does this work? Do you just wander around looking for the unjust?” Fleece asked.

“I see you choose the way that pits you as a tool of justness!”
Jax took the offer extended to him and reached out for the panda’s glove, as if to say the two had finished making a deal on the wrongdoer’s commitment of self-change. He nodded at the bear’s sudden clothing change, it was obvious he had left an impact on this person’s life, and at least for the most part, looked to be all positive. The newly reformed miscreant’s question caused some contemplating from Jax. He hadn’t considered how one acted as a “true hero”. He never put a lot of thought into the whole inner-workings of heroism, he preferred to just do, not think. Maybe that’s how he ended up where he was now.
“Er, yes, that’s pretty much it. But for the most part, you follow the beat of your heart, the galaxy! You must go around, and if you hear a cry of help, you do so! You become the living embodiment of hope! And don’t just help those that the unjust hurt, but try to help the unjust themselves!” Jax had subconsciously started to clench his fist and get in what his previous director called “Justice Pose #15”, which consisted mainly of trying to make his scrawny body seem more stereotypically “heroish”, pretty much ignoring the panda’s pain thanks to his own obliviousness. “Though, some rebranding may be needed. What’s your name kid? Would you ever consider changing it to Pandamonium?”
For all his failing as a fighter, Jax felt like he was proving himself to be a swell businessman. He felt proud of the name, it was a clever superhero name. It then occurred to the that he had be coming across more fellow super-types then usual. In fact, he was finding so many of these like-minded fighters, wanting to do their best they could with their abilities, that he could probably make a team of them. In fact, why shouldn’t he? He could gather all the raddest and bestest heroes the planet had to offer, and as a group they could all be cool hero peoples! It was the most genius idea Jax had in months, and the moment he came upon it he was hit by a wave of ideas and potential. Spinning around to talk to his fanboy, he tried to finish their business, barely able to contain the energy and excitement within his minuscule man-child body.
“I’m sorry, but I was in the middle of some important training when I ran into you two, and I better get going. Here, if you need to get ahold me, have this.” Out of his regular business cards, he had some loose colored paper he had written his contact info on with marker, while also being covered in various doodles of fighting moves he was thinking up. He flung it over to his potential in partner in crime-stopping, trying to come off as suave while doing so. “There’s my card. And if this plan I have works out, you may be hearing of a potential group work we could do together. But for now, I need to get groovy. So, ta-ta!”
Twirling into the air, the air around the two swirling around him, stopping only when he paused mid-air to give a salute. Pumped from not only finally defeating an enemy, but also from possibly reforming them, Jax flew into the sky, his head full only of possibilities of how to make the world a funkier place. ___________________________________________________
