[Thread PL = 4,500] [ Pennini]
Xanara smiled, looking at her filled cash register. So many of customers today and so much chocolate sold. And it had only been through the first half of the day. She sat in the store, in her usual garb this time, as many of her imps and now even some human employees worked in the store. She sat at a small pink and white table with elegant back designs. She brought up a mug of Spiced Hot Cocoa to her lips, sipping at it softly before giggling to herself. "Delicious." She sat the cup down back on its tray before sighing softly. " I need more friends." She muttered softly. "Being naughty is fun and all, but its no fun when you have no one to do be naughty with..." She sat back in her chair and smiled. "This will all change though... Change when I'm finish with my greatest spell." She giggled to herself. "And I'll get all the free unpaid labor I want..."

A tired sigh escaped Pennini as she rode her broom side saddle above the rooftops of East Capitol. Today had been quite a day so far, and it wasn’t even that late out yet. The witch had been scrambling about since as early as it was reasonable for businesses to be open that day, combing major cities for as many pawn shops as she could locate. They were the most likely places to find the final ingredient needed for a ritual that was required to raise Rubin’s old palace from beneath the sands. She sought a ring from a marriage that had ended in blood. In one of her hands was a small sack filled with every single pawned wedding ring that she had found on her little quest so far. It may have been a little overkill since she only needed the one, but she had already botched the ritual once due to a ring not fitting the correct description. One of the rings in her bag had to do the trick, right? Perhaps a bit of a pick-me-up was in order. She still had more pawn shops to visit, but a quick break wouldn’t hinder her too badly. She had heard of a new sweet shop in the area that was generating quite a bit buzz among the locals. It wouldn’t hurt to check it out at the very least. ”Mama Xana's Candy Emporeum?” Pennini read the sign out loud as she hovered over the shop in question. That name seemed awfully familiar. Was it the same demon that had paid her a visit not too long ago? Xanara had been a rather shrewd business woman, but Pennini wasn’t aware that she actually owned a company. Rather than sit there and wonder about it idly to herself all day, the witch landed gently on the pavement and decided to enter. Pennini squinted her eyes as she entered. The interior was rather loud for her tastes. Everywhere she looked was covered bright pink or white. However, as soon as she got a whiff of the smell that was wafting through the establishment, she forgot all about the decorations. Oh wow... That smell brought her back. She felt like she was a child again. And surely enough, sitting at one of the tables was indeed the very demoness that had been at her hut when that silly woman had come seeking advice. ”And here I thought your calling was the information trade,” Pennini spoke lightly as she strolled over to Xanara’s table, broom and bag of rings still in hand. ”I trust the days have been treating you well, Xanara. It would at least appear that your ‘crippling greed’ hasn’t done you in yet.”Xanara Redhive

Xanara's eyes turned to that of the door when the bell rang, signaling a customer. " Good Afternoon~" She called in a Sing Songy voice, only to see Pennini of all people. "Pennini, darling! Fancy seeing you here." She'd listen to what the witch had to say before she herself laughed softly. "Oh come now you knew I was just pulling things out of the air. That girl was so desperate she would have listened if I told her to go sleep with the first saiyan she met..."
She sat back slowly and smiled. "Oh they have been quite lucrative I must admit." She said with a nod. "Only two weeks open and I've already made back all the money I spend on this place and then some. I'm even considering a second one in West Capitol...." She motioned to a chair besides the table. "Come take a seat. Enjoy yourself. As for my "Crippling Greed" I doubt it will any time soon. I dare say its the slowest crippling greed I've ever come across. Sad really..."
A few imps came around the shop, cleaning it up and fixing displays. "Can I get you anything? Hot cocoa? Perhaps some sweets? Maybe some Ice cream. Just say it and it shall be yours."
