Negi had anticipated Marcel’s speed. The two seemed to share a similar, lithe form consisting of lean, corded muscle that was dedicated more toward speed and focused energy. Rather than, say, Carva’s blatant force and gigantic, meaty fists. As Marcel released his first blow, the young saiyan took note of the hybrid's timing. The boy was glad to see that Marcel was willing to put all the force he could into his strikes. As his fist collided, though, Negi could just... feel that there was more to Marcel's power than what he was demonstrating here. He felt the impact, and allowed the force to carry through his midsection, rather than completely resisting it. As Marcel's fist pulled at the flesh below Negi's sternum, the boy buckled over. Then Negi felt the jarring impact on his chin, and the power was startling for someone of his level. It was like a flash of lightning as his vision blurred and he realized that not only was he was in the air, he was speeding away from the arena! He quickly stabilized his ki before he flew any further. Floating above the arena, he looked down at the hybrid's form. Marcel must have been at least forty meters below him now. The young saiyan quickly dropped back to the arena floor. "Definitely!" He commented in reply to Marcel as he rubbed his chin. "I liked your form. And your reflexes are fantastic."The young saiyan was ready to fight now, and the excitement in his chest threatened to burst free. His eyes narrowed, and the sides of his mouth curled upward into a savage grin. A true predator's smile. Yet his energy was controlled, and as Negi's stance changed his demeanor changed along with it as his training kicked in. His smile disappeared, and was replaced with an emotionless, flat expression that would not betray his next move. Like second nature, he began to move instantaneously and seemingly without thought. For a moment, he simply seemed to flow in a circle around Marcel, muscles relaxed to the point of appearing intoxicated. As soon as the young saiyan caught Marcel's attention, Negi swooped around the man with extreme speed - probably faster than the hybrid would be able to follow with his eyes - and stopped immediately behind him, facing the opposite direction. He snatched with his right hand at Marcel's left wrist, attempting to lock his thumb and index finger around the joint where the hand and wrist connect. Finding the spot, Negi twisted his own body to his left at the knees, keeping himself in place while attempting to throw Marcel off balance. As he twisted his knees, he also lowered himself closer to the ground, making sure to keep his opposition's shoulder wrenched and in control. As Negi twisted back up to full, upright position, he would use that force to fling Marcel out of the ring. Marcel Law Active:
Luóxuán Quán [UT1]: A martial form taught to Negi by his now-deceased master Kyuuri, who mastered the style while on Earth several decades prior. The basic premise of this style is the fluidity and perpetual circular motion. When properly utilized, the user flows through and around the battlefield, deflecting and evading physical attacks rather than blocking. A proficient user is capable of warding off the basic attacks of up to eight opponents simultaneously without taking excessive damage. Offensively, the user will take every opportunity to exploit simple openings created through their own movement and redirection, often using their opponent's own force against them. (This is an RP skill, and does not affect KP attacks)
(I also hope that this movement makes sense. Basically, Negi is staying in a single point while spinning Marcel around and flinging him outward.)

Rubbing the back of his head with a small sheepish smile upon his face, Marcel looked up into the air at Negi, the hybrid being obviously surprised at how far upward he sent him. Marcel was expecting to get not even a small flinch from the guy, but there he was...sent flying into the air. He could've just been messing with him, but who knows. He nodded as the Saiyan complimented his form, feeling like a student who has just impressed his teacher. "My step father made sure that I wouldn't be defenseless, knowing how dangerous this beautiful planet can get at times..." he commented, placing a hand on his shoulder as he began to rotate his other arm around some, stretching it out a bit. The moment he saw Negi's smile, he knew it was time. Marcel returned the gesture with a smirk as he was ready for this battle to get started. The hybrid spread his legs out a bit as he balled his fists, the top part of his arms straightened down as the lower half past his elbows stretch out forward, giving off a right angle type position. The quietness of the area only added more suspense to this situation, causing Marcel's heart to pump in excitement as his Saiyan side began to peek out. Without much warning, Marcel found himself being circled by his opponent, his limbs acting rather...loose. His movements oddly reminded him of how Shemha was able to freely move her joints, and whole body around, pretty much disobeying the laws of physics entirely. Perhaps he somehow picked it up from her? They did seem to know each other, so it wouldn't be such a far stretch...no puns intended. Law attempted to follow the long haired male's movements, looking for an opening, but it was getting difficult to keep up, although he felt he was doing a decent job at attempting to, but it wasn't decent enough due to falling victim to the Saiyan's grasp. The hybrid's eyes quickly widened as he felt his left wrist getting caught, and before he could react anymore, he found himself getting spun around then thrown! His vision was a bit blurry at first due to the spinning, the expression on his face reading, confusion before he managed to snap out of it, still heading out of the ring, or so it seemed... Once he was mere inches away from exiting the arena, Marcel seemingly 'disappeared' being replaced by a shadowy image of himself that would disappear shortly after it landed out of the area. Marcel 'reappeared' in front of Negi, sideways on the ground with only his left arm keeping him up as his hand pressed against the cool ground. With a semi circular motion, Marcel attempted to trip up the Saiyan by kicking the back of Negi's legs with his left leg which would result in him falling forward if successful. Then as Negi began to tilt forward, Marcel would shift his body so that both hands would be on the ground, supporting his body as his legs were bent a bit in the air only to be quickly stretched out in an attempt to ram the bottom of his feet straight into the teen's chin with enough force to either send him flying, or straight onto his back. The hybrid felt bad going for the chin once again this soon, but he saw it as his only option in this situation. Marcel would then rise back onto his feet, using his arms to bounce him back up. -[S1] ShadowImage
The user uses an ability to move so swiftly that a shadowy image of the user is left behind. This is used to either quickly gain distance, move in closer to the opponent, or avoid attacks up to 100% of the user's pl. (Hope it made sense, Negi o~o)

Negi flexed the muscles in his arms and legs for a second as he waited for Marcel to react. This was the first real physical contact that the young Saiyan had made for quite some time, and he felt a slight stiffness in his joints. The boy didn’t have any more time to think, though, as Marcel appeared right in front of him, low to the ground in preparation for attack. The shadowy figure was quick, but despite the hybrid’s element of surprise Negi was quicker. Marcel’s leg whipped out to catch the Saiyan. Negi knew that he could dodge it. In fact, he could have easily leapt over it and counterattacked. But the boy wanted to know what the hybrid was capable of, and he wanted to see if there was anyone on this planet who had any real martial arts experience. So far, Marcel was looking good, even if his attacks were a bit forward. So, he let it catch, and allowed his knees to buckle forward. As his opponent prepared the apex of his attack, Negi simply waited. He was enjoying himself thoroughly, but everything seemed rather slow. Right as the hybrid’s heels traveled through the air to assault the saiyan’s chin, the saiyan brought his hands up underneath to block the attack. Negi caught the attack, but swooped to the side so quickly that he left an image of himself behind. Marcel would still feel the full force of his kick connect, and he would see Negi’s false image fly into the sky. But the saiyan mirrored Marcel from behind. Even as the man hopped back into a standing position the boy followed suit. As soon as Marcel’s grounding was re-established, Negi would act. Reaching out with both hands to latch onto the hybrid’s shoulders, the boy would yank both of his arms backward right as he drove his heel down into the back of Marcel’s knee. If his aim was spot-on, Marcel would be parallel to the ground, on a direct downward path for contact. At that point, Negi would swoop once more to the side and follow it with a downward elbow to Marcel’s chest, right as the man struck the arena floor. A successful combination of this kind would leave most fighters on the ground, stunned and staring up to the sky, wondering, what just happened? Negi wasn’t interested in injuring or disfiguring Marcel, but he was willing to put enough force and pain into this sparring session to really see what the hybrid had in store… Afterimage [SU2]: Through a sudden burst of speed you leave behind a image of yourself to distract your opponent. As his feet made contact with the Saiyan's hands, Marcel would notice the block, but wouldn't think much of it as he was successful with sending Negi into the sky....or so he thought. As the hybrid got back on his feet, he noticed that the figure he thought to be Negi faded away then felt his shoulders being clenched, causing his eyes to quickly dart to the side. Unfortunately, he didn't have much time to react, so he found himself getting bent backwards towards the ground due to the Saiyan's actions. Negi was skilled, way more than himself, Marcel thought. His tactics seemed to be less hostile compared to the hybrid's which impressed Marcel, with a small hint of envy. Law already went into this spar expecting that he will lose in the end.... But he wasn't going to make it easy for him. As Negi swooped in to deliver an elbow to his chest, Marcel quickly placed the palm of his hands onto the ground which were thankfully close enough already due to the long haired teen's previous action, and rose a knee up towards the elbow in an attempt to force it away from him. If successful, Marcel would then wrap his legs around his opponent's arm, and use it to raise his upper body up forward which could in return cause the Saiyan's upper body to lean downward towards Marcel. With a small smirk on his face, Marcel would ball up his fists, sending them both straight into Negi's face hopefully with enough force to send him back, releasing the grip he had on his arm before doing a back flip onto his feet. If the hits were successful, it should leave Negi a bit dazed which should give Marcel time to form a ball of ki, as dark as the hybrid's midnight black hair. He would then face that arm forward, and place his free hand onto his wrist. Seeing as he might not have much time to charge it, he went ahead, and let loose the kamehameha like blast towards Negi, barely missing the arena thankfully. Marcel REALLY didn't want to go to prison over this.... The attack will of course not kill him due to the Saiyan's strength, but it should certainly do some damage if successful. -[N1] Dark Blast
The user charges a ball of dark colored ki in their hand before stretching that arm out towards their target. The user then grips their arm with their free hand as the ball bursts out into a blast of dark energy resembling a Kamehameha. (33% of the user's pl)(Not charged.)(2345PL worth of damage.)

Negi instantly recognized the imminent shadowy blast for, and wanted to respond with a ki technique in turn. But the boy knew that he could not restrain himself in quite the same way while handling the intensive internal energy that writhed within, just waiting to explode outward. If Negi had responded to gut instinct, this arena – no, the entire city block surrounding the tenkaichi budokai grounds – would become a crater. Not to mention that the blast would kill Marcel at his current power level. So instead, he darted to the side at the last second, ripping free and narrowly avoiding Marcel’s ki blast. There was a rancid smell of burning hair, and the young saiyan twisted himself away. Looking at his midnight locks, he saw that a few ends of his hair were scorched, but it was nothing to be concerned about. As Negi twisted away, he flipped backward to land on his feet. He felt out to sense the hybrid’s energy, trying to get a more accurate feel for the man’s power. By his estimation, Marcel was working with almost exactly a tenth of Negi’s full power. If the boy had not been so extensively trained, and he wasn’t also wearing the extremely heavy weights around his wrists, his strikes would easily shatter the man’s bones. Luckily, he could gauge and control his own physical output, within reason. Still, the thrill of this conflict had his blood rushing, and he needed to be mindful not to lose control. He still had his tail, and the young saiyan had to make sure not only to keep himself from losing control during combat, but also to keep himself from making eye contact with the luminescent orb that sat in the sky above as well. If he transformed into a great ape, he doubted he would survive for very long on this planet. The young saiyan’s eyes bored into Marcel. The man was doing very well, but Negi decided that it was time to show the hybrid a little bit of what he could really do. Negi dashed forward, aiming a kick directly at Marcel. It didn’t matter to the boy whether Marcel blocked or dodged, wherever his opponent went, Negi would follow. A series of quick strikes – one quick chop to the to the side of the neck followed by a toe aimed at the inside of the hybrid’s thigh, followed by a quick flurry of jabs to Marcel’s chest and stomach. He would attempt to grab onto the man by the leg and fling him into the sky, immediately following him and attacking him relentlessly. For at least ten seconds, Negi’s assault would seem to be endless… Kicks and punches would seem to come from nowhere, even if Negi appeared to be directly in front of the hybrid. If the saiyan’s assault occurred in the sky, he would finish his combination with a final, solid kick to the chest straight downward, aiming for the ground away from the arena so as not to damage the facility itself. If the two were on foot, he would drop down – almost exactly as Marcel had done – and aim both heels in an upward kick toward the hybrid’s chin. Regardless, tonight would surely be a painful night for Marcel. But Negi knew that the pain would lead to growth. (No worries, you are doing a fantastic job in my opinion. I’m considering drawing this fight up into a few manga pages XD) Marcel Law

Gritting his teeth as his attack seemingly missed, Marcel watched his opponent carefully. He was impressed of the Saiyan's speed, something he'd expect from someone of a higher caliber than himself. His eyes shifted a bit to the side where he saw that part of his hair appeared burnt, causing the hybrid to smirk as he contained a snicker. It appears that his attack wasn't a complete failure. Still, this battle wasn't over yet.... Or was it? Despite his seemingly solid observation, Marcel wasn't quick enough to dodge the warriors next attack. As Negi dashed his way towards the hybrid, Marcel held up his arms to his chest to deflect the first kick. The power of said kick had some force to it, pushing Marcel back some as his feet slide against the solid ground, his arms now hurting instead of chest, but he continued to keep his guards up for the the series of punches, his teeth gritting at the pain. Unfortunately, he wasn't ready for the next attack. Immediately, his arms lowered as he felt the side of the long haired teen's hand, jabbing straight into the side of poor Marcel's neck. He quickly glanced to the side of where the attack occurred, but that was all he could do as the assault to his thigh quickly followed after. With his guards now down, he would suffer from a series of jabs, and punches to both chest along with stomach, causing Law to spit up some as he gasped for air, not even realizing he was flung straight into the air after at first! At this point, Marcel was helpless....unbelievably helpless, and he knew it. He 'flew' there in the air, taking all of the punishment Negi dished out to his body, looking at the Saiyan the whole time with his eyes lowered halfway, still gritting his teeth. The torment only went on for a mere few seconds, but to Marcel it felt like it went on for hours until he was 'freed' by a powerful kick to the chest, powerful enough to fracture some of the bones in his chest. Law wasn't a fool, he knew that Negi could have done far worse with that kick. Despite the pain, Marcel managed to land on his feet on the side of the grounds, his feet leaving tiny craters upon it. Marcel began to shiver some, not of fear...but of something else. No.....he tried to contain it, but like the surprise attack he suffered from Shemha back then, this got to him again. His....'anger.' What started as a friendly spar, appeared that it would become something else entirely. A dark aura slowly surrounded the man as his pupils glowed red. A low growl exited the hybrid's mouth as he bared his teeth. He was ready to kill, or at least try, but before he could do anything else... BAM A sudden strike to the chin not only knocked the unsuspecting Marcel to the ground, but also the 'anger' from out of him, temporally. His eyes widened as the glowing coming off of his pupils dispersed along with the faint aura, a shocked, and somewhat dazed expression on his face as he fell back first onto the ground. He stared up at the evening sky for what felt like a matter of seconds. What.....what just happened is what went through his mind. He blinked slowly before managing to sit up slowly, wincing a bit as he rubbed a hand against the side of his head. His head remained facing down to the ground while he stayed quiet only for a small laugh to escape his mouth shortly after, briefly turning into a loud one before wincing once more. "Y-you're really good...." he lifted his head up before turning it towards Negi. "I....I give." he claimed with a small grin. He knew when he was beat. Negi(That would be AWESOME O-O Also, I think the spar should end here, if it's okay with you. >.< Wasn't really expecting Marcel to come out as the victor.)

The young saiyan took a deep breath, letting the light burning in his muscles dissipate. He really should have stretched a little before the fight, or at least warmed up, but it was over now. He landed softly on the grounded and strode over to Marcel, offering his hand to the man to help him off of the ground. The boy was completely ignorant to Marcel's near-loss of control, but even if the man had gone crazy with some form of demonic power, Negi would have done his best to find a way to control the situation without hurting the hybrid too much. "Thanks, I did absolutely nothing but train for three years just to learn that style." Negi remarked on Marcel's compliment. "And fighting experience can only make you better!"Negi grinned widely. He glanced over at the small craters in the dirt. One thing was for sure - Marcel was a to be a man to be reckoned with. The young saiyan had a feeling in his gut that this would not be the last time he would see the man, and he also felt, deep down, that Marcel had an undeniably massive potential. "That was a good fight. You've got skill, and you can definitely move. Let me know if you ever want to do some training - I know that I can benefit from it too."(That's kind of what I was thinking, hence the intense flurry. We have a solid two pages, so that's good. Let me know if you want to continue this thread in a non-sparring manner. If not, this will be my exit post. Sorry for the short post) Marcel Law

"Well, your training has certainly shown if you ask me." the hybrid claimed, taking the teen's hand as he stood back on his feet. Marcel was now riddled with dirt, and bruises, but none of that bothered him. Those were typical in spars after all, that, and blood, but oddly there wasn't any blood this time...or at least he thought so. Marcel slid his tongue from left to right around the bottom of his mouth until he tasted the blood which only caused the hybrid to snicker a bit to himself. All that came with a good spar was there after all it seemed! His smile slowly vanished however, glancing away while he thought about how he almost lost it back there. Still it seemed he barely had any control over his 'anger' issues. If it wasn't for that swift kick to the chin, this spar would've possibly turned into something worse. Though that crisis was averted, it was still not good. He needs to get a better grip of his abilities, and not just left swift hits to his person be the only way of solving this issue. "I agree. It can even increase the bonds between people as well." he looked back over to Negi, his smile slowly returning with a nod. Despite that one little slip up, things appeared to have still went well this day. Not only did the hybrid get to see this legendary arena with a lot of history to it up close, he also managed to meet an interesting person along the way who not only taught him a bit of his Saiyan side, but also got to spar here on this very arena that the hybrid admired so. "Indeed it was, and so do you." Marcel nodded stepping back some before bowing. "It was an honor to battle a Sai...no, a FELLOW Saiyan like yourself, I hope we will get to battle again some other time as well, but now it's getting pretty late it seems." he looked up to the sky then back to Negi. "Again, thank you for that spar, it was quite the workout, but the next time we meet, I will be sure to come out as the victor." he chuckled some before nodding once more, floating off to make his way towards the exit. A very interesting meeting this was. Negi(We should probably exit here. Looking forward for having these two meet again o: and definitely looking forward to that manga if you are planning to make it xD PM me what you want for the thread.)
