Alright I was told that this needs to be put up to a community vote so here it is.
This ability has been called into question over it's mechanics. I will admit this was a bit poorly described but here I shall attempt to clarify everything.
The following is an example of how this technique would work using a "Phase" based system for simplicity.
Turn 0: Latent Power used, New Power Level of 15,057
Turn 1: Draw Phase, Power Level reduced to 15,057, Standby Phase, Power Level increased by 50% to 22585
Turn 2: Draw Phase, Power Level reduced to 15,057, Standby Phase, Power Level increased by 100% to 30114
Turn 3: Draw Phase, Power Level reduced to 15,057, Standby Phase, Power Level increased by 150% to 37642
Turn 4: Draw Phase, Power Level reduced to 15,057, Standby Phase, Power Level increased by 200% to 45171
Turn 5: Draw Phase, Power Level reduced to 15,057, Standby Phase, Power Level increased by 250% to 52699
Turn 6: Draw Phase, Power Level reduced to 15,057, Standby Phase, Power Level increased by 300% to 60228
Keep in mind that the longer it's 'running' and the higher the number, The more self damage it can inflict and the greater it's chance, Just like the Kaio-ken attack as stated in the technique itself.
The confusion with this technique is that everyone is multiplying it by 0.5x which, in math, is treated as division, not multiplication. The thing with ANY multiplier is that when you're increasing something, anything, by X amount using a multiplier (In this case .5) you do not do 15057*.5, because .5 is seen as half and the calculator deems that as division, With ANY multiplier, you look at HOW it's supposed to be read. A .5=50% just like x3=300%. That being kept in mind, you ADD 50% of what the current power level is (When the tech is first activated) onto the current power level, AFter which you revert to 15057 for the second post and immediately after the reversion, you add 100% of 15057 to 15057 and thus you get the second post power level. The technique does NOT trick the opponent, That would go against not only her character and the technique itself, But it goes against Muay Thai itself as Muay Thai is NEVER about weakening yourself EVER, Which is EXACTLY what all of her abilities are based off of.
As we saw with the Kaio-ken attack at x4 Goku's body suffered major damage, However, Let us look specifically at Kiba for a moment because this is where the MOST IMPORTANT aspect of this technique comes in and something EVERYONE needs to acknowledge before responding.
Kiba since the age of 5 has been trained specifically in Muay Thai. Muay Thai, before a student/anyone begins training, fighting, or even sparring, they go through a series of exercises specifically designed to loosen all the joints and muscles, allowing for faster movement and for your muscles to expand easier through your training. Because of this life long event (12 years) and how many hours she was forced to endure (14 minimum, not including any other kinds of things her Father would've forced her through) her body has become very VERY accustomed to this life style and as such it's easier for her muscles to expand and contract as needed. When I created this character, I created her with a VERY specific mindset and VERY specific moves that will come into play later down the line that ALL build OFF of Muay Thai itself and it's practices.
With that now explained, Let us move back to the technique itself, Rykka Ryuujin Shikon. Because it's like the Kaio-Ken attack that can severely damage you this technique itself still has to be used in bursts, HOWEVER, this technique is NOT a variant of the Kaio-Ken attack as only Goku knew of the attack (Out of everyone on earth) and that technique probably died along with the Kai's from the show. Because of this, This technique CANNOT and IS NOT a Kaio-Ken variant. Keeping the power level increase in mind, Let us also keep in mind that the increase it goes off of is NOT her CURRENT power level each turn, It goes off the current power level of when it was ACTIVATED. So if her PL was 7,500 when it was activated, It doesn't matter if on turn 5 her power level was 1,000,000,000,000,000, It'll still go off of 7,500.
Here is why the math that everyone else has present does NOT work with this technique:
15,057*.5=7528.5(Rounded down to 7528). This would completely fuck over the Master Tier system as it is written because at the 1st post of activation a Master Tier is ALWAYS 100% of the users current Power Level. On top of this, This DECREASES her Power Level, When the ability specifically states it INCREASES it. I.E. The Math is actually WRONG.
Side note: This kind of thing is the EXACT reason you need to read the history of a character. Yes most of the time it's fluff, but that's fluff that should NEVER be ignored because it's EXTREMELY relevant to that character. Let us also not forget that this is indeed a MP3, Master Tier level technique, This is NOT a Variant of ANYTHING and none of it's predecessors (It's UP2 and N1 counterparts) can increase her strength and merely act as bursts of energy by themselves.
