Jormungandr, a purple scaled snake demon, leaned against the wall of the cave, yawning.
Kadabra, the mage who had summoned her, wasn’t too happy about this, when he summoned a demon he hadn’t thought it would just be sitting around doing nothing most of the time. So with how he was feeling, it was very obvious that the look on his face meant he was bored.
“.....what do you want? Did you have something you wanted me to do?” Jormungandr drawled.
The wizard had a very simple response “Indeed, and it’s the thing that I brought you into this realm for in the first place.”
“....hm. So, anything specific?”
“Yes, I think it’s time we make a move. Destroy a city or two.”
Jormungandr smirked. “....this is going to be so much fun”
Kadabra was finally happy with her for once “Again, it’s why I brought you to this realm.” The wizard then walked out, waiting for Jormungandr.
The snake demon sauntered outside. “So, which way?”
“Well West City should obviously be to the west.”
“Cool. come on, we got people to kill! And hopefully torture….” Jormungandr took flight.
“Indeed…” The wizard followed, for obvious reasons
The trees around this area of the little forest their resting place was in would be very tall. Not much more to say about them really, just wanted to say about how being able to fly is useful in this situation. But besides that not much would be going on right now.
Jormungandr was silent for a few minutes. “....do you have any real idea of how you’re going to conquer this planet? I mean, slaughtering a city’s population is a good start, but you’ll need a little more than that”
Kadbra stopped to think about this for a moment “Hmmm...Haven’t really thought about that. I just thought intimidation always worked.”
“.....you haven’t learned anything from history have you? Simple intimidation isn’t enough. You have to shatter their spirits. Crush them and their guardians so thoroughly that the thought of someone defeating you is seen as absolutely ludicrous.”
“Well you're powerful enough aren’t you?”
“I don’t know. Who guards this planet?”
“To be honest I have no idea who specifically does.” At this point, the wizard was really rethinking his decisions.
“...you did not plan this out, did you?”
“Well when your plans are to conquer Earth, you don’t really have much in mind besides conquering it.”
“.....wow you’re shortsighted.”
Suddenly, three energies were sensed by the snake like demon. Not the most powerful, but still, they were there.
“Oooh, victims….” she said, changing her course to intercept them
“Wait, where are you going?” Kadabra quickly followed
“I sense some victims. I’m going to go greet them” she said, grinning
A grin came onto his face as well “Oh...I see what you mean. Now is a great time to actually see how powerful you are then.”
She rolled her eyes. The fool was still a bit too condescending for her tastes, but he was useful, so she let him live… and there was that pesky spell, but she pretended that didn’t exist.
Getting closer to the multiple energies, 3 men were in sight in a clearing in this forest, Doing some type of training session.
Jormungandr descended beneath the treetops. “Now…. let’s see, how to deal with these louts…”
As Jormungandr was thinking about that, Kadabra was sticking to being in the sky, Just simply watch and waiting to see what she would do.
She circled them for a minute, gauging their apparent power, and trying to find the weakest-looking one.
One of these men would be a giant compared to the other two, while the others were about average size. One of the average sized men was be sparring with the giant, and the other man in the middle of a peaceful state of meditation.
Jormungandr smirked, continuing to circle until she was behind the one meditating, then leapt from her hiding place and wrapped her arms around the man’s neck.
The meditating one was definitely shocked by this, quickly flipping over, Trying to get the upper hand.
The demon chuckled and performed the same maneuver. “I could do this all day.” she whispered into his ear.
The man tried to elbow her this time, Having confidence that would get her off him.
She promptly twisted his neck in an attempt to break it, unfazed by the blow.
And down went one, that just left two more. Speaking of the two, they had obviously noticed the snake demon at this point. They didn’t take to kindly to her killing one of their friends either. Both of them rushed at her with a “Hyaaaaaa!”
She watched as they charged, throwing the corpse to the side. “....Nyoka Ukombe” she said calmly, purple claws forming on her hands as she dashed towards them, and attempted skewered them both through the heart. But the other average sized one had jumped out of the way in time.
watching in horror as his other friend had gotten utterly destroyed, he stepped back. “You, you monster! What are you!?”
She smiled, crushing the man’s heart then removing her hand and letting him fall. “I’m a demon. What did you think I was?”
“I’m not going to let you get away with this!” The last man threw a simple Ki blast at Jormungandr.
Jormungadr knocked it aside. “....pathetic.”
“Hraaaaah!” The man charged at the demon again, this time doing a sliding kick in an attempts to trip her.
She floated a foot into the air, then extended a hand towards him. “...Makali Wembe.” she muttered, firing a purple beam of ki at the man.
“Gaaaaaaah!” The man shouted in pain, dying off, As Kadabra landed next to her, clapping.
“Bravo...Bravo.” The wizard said, very impressed.
Jormungandr shrugged. “They were weak.”
“Still, they were fighters none the less. They were human too.”
“Then humans are weak. Let’s go see if we can find someone a bit stronger, hm?”
The wizard smiled “Well if it’s a challenge you want...someone is bound to appear during our attack.”
“Good. let’s go.” she took flight again. “If those idiots were any indication, this is going to be ridiculously easy”
Kadabra, the mage who had summoned her, wasn’t too happy about this, when he summoned a demon he hadn’t thought it would just be sitting around doing nothing most of the time. So with how he was feeling, it was very obvious that the look on his face meant he was bored.
