Namorel rose from his cave towards the morning of the day, the sun gleamed off the horizon and he had to prepare for a "fun" flight in the opposite direction than he had come from. To avoid easy detection he flew away from the curve of the horizon. He was sure any small chance of him being caught stowing away previously existed and refused to take that chance. Escaping was rarely something he did, but he was on a foreign planet and had no grasp on how powerful the warriors of this world could possibly be, or if they were anything like his brothers back home on Namek. However judging by the size of the settlement that the ship landed near he couldn't find any possibility in that being the case.
Earth was purely uncharted territory to Namorel, all directions seemed to converge into one, north becoming south and east becoming west. Namorel was unsure if he could cover a good amount of ground as he flew, hoping to get far enough away in at least one day's time. The smell of water quickly over took him, the water had a peculiar scent to it as well though and this made Namorel even more curious on the matter of it. He flew towards the scent, hoping to find cover along with it and a place to gather his bearings of the planet and the system of directions he would need to learn.
The scent of the water grew stronger as a large body of blue rose in the horizon. "Blue water?" Namorel asked himself as he drew closer. He thought back to what he knew from Namek, the grass and sky had already proven to be inverted from that of Namek, but even the water? It was an odd anomaly he had never encountered before and it was oddly unsettling, that a land... a planet almost inverted purely from Namek existed. The fact unsettled him and almost disgusted him, making him think aout how the way these people on this planet treated their water and what made it blue. He let these thoughts cloud his mind as he flew, so things could go a little faster... everything was already so new for him and he had to precess it so quickly it made his head hurt.

There was a backpack far up the beach, under an umbrella that had a towel at the base. The bag was open in one of the front pouches, while there was something sticking out of the water. A snorkeling tube was that something, and it belonged to a hybrid.
Said hybrid was Tekuma Mayakon, who was snorkeling with her underwater camera. The hybrid was doing a biology project on the local underwater life just off the beach shores. The demon/human enjoyed the feeling of the cool, fresh water around her.
The teen minded her own business, until she sensed a strange ki nearby. The ki was very odd, nothing she had felt before. Stronger than her and a new feeling must have meant a new species of humanoid! The teen swam up, camera safely around her neck as she treaded water.
Her hair would be an eyesore, bright red against the deep blue as she turned her eyes to the blur in the sky. The teen grabbed her swimming glasses, ones that helped her see while still helping her eyesight handicap. The hybridess looked at the sky, noticing a green man.

Namorel made it to the waterfront, the sand serving as the threshold barrier between water and land. One of the few aspects that was still familiar to him, not altering the knowledge he had come to learn of the world. The water rocked below, the waves coming in a consistent manner. Waves were less common on Namek and Namorel was curious as to what made them occur so often on this planet.
He made his way down to the shore, looking over the water as he did, a humanoid figure below caught his eye, red among the blue of the water. "It would have accented better if the water were green." Namorel thought to himself as he descended, the wing slowly rising around him as his descent picked up in speed. He wondered if the water here felt the same as it did back home, soft to the skin and sweet to the taste
The sand loosened as he landed, turning to see the humanoid in the water closer now. "Greetings." He would speak with a deep, but soft voice. Keeping his voice tone at a mezzo forte volume. He had never spoken to a race of being that wasn't Namekian directly. and doing so was already proving to be an interesting situation as he felt like any wrong word or comment could set them off... if they understood him.

Tekuma watched as Namorel landed and spoke to her, nervously looking at the strange green man. Wh..What is this guy? I think I read about someone like him before.. Uhh.. Jeez I can't seem to rememb- WAIT! He's a Namekian! Makes sense considering how tall he is.
Knowing Nameks were usually a peaceful race, she waved from a bit of the way offshore. A smile played on her lips, short red hair soaked with the ocean water. "Hello sir!" Called the hybrid, swimming closer to shore and getting out of the water, wearing a one piece black diving suit with a snorkel device on her head and her camera banging against her chest.
Tekuma kept her gentle smile, the young demon hybrid had pale white skin and horns, and a long, thin whiplike tail to match. "Nice to meet you, my name is Tekuma, what's yours?"

The humanoid rose from the water, greeting Namorel as she did so. She seemed much different to the other humanoids he caught glimpses of after escaping the ship. Her skin was much paler, a shade of white. Small horns protruding from her head and a small tail gave her the linkable relationship to that of a demon. She seemed to have been snorkeling with her camera, a device that Namorel had only heard stories of and had never seen himself.
"They call me Namorel, it is nice to meet you." Namorel replied, looking towards her as he bent down to feel the water, letting it lap against his palm, there was a texture to it that made him curious as to what contents existed with in it. He lowered another hand down to cup a small portion up and taste it, as he swallowed the water he made a quick gagging motion. "What the hell is this water?!?" He asked no one annoyingly.

Tekuma had short, brilliant red hair and bright green eyes, and she watched the Namek, listening to him. As he drank the water, she merely giggled. "Well, nobody drinks this water except for the thousands of underwater creatures and plants. Humanoids like you and humans like me, we can't drink it."
The girl kneeled on the soft sand, scooping the water with one hand. "This water is called saltwater. We can't drink it due to the high sodium content, which is how this particular water type got its name. The oceans are pretty, but if you drink the water you can get really badly dehydrated from the salt."

Namorel listened to the girl as she explained to him what the water type was, he found the presence of salt in the water peculiar. It was kind of a sad paradox, water that dehydrates the drinker. He looked at the ocean of saltwater with mixed feelings of dismay and content. The soft blue color became more acceptable when he saw it hit the horizon.
"Blue water has an interesting allure to it... the green water on Namek will be hard to top though." Namorel said out loud, wiping his wet hands on his gi and robe portion. He then turned to Tekuma to ask, "Why are you out in this trap of a body of water?" with a sarcastic, yet honest tone.

Tekuma looked up as Namorel spoke, blinking at his words of calling it a water trap. "It isn't a water trap. Just because humanoids can't drink it doesn't mean there are thousands of different species of animals and plants that can. Here."
Tekuma would take the camera from around her neck, and walk over to Namorel. "Look into this part of the camera. It's where you can see the pictures I took. Under the water is beautiful, with all sorts of colorful animals and plants."
If he looked, she'd click through the photos of the coral reef and animals in the reef, from fish to crabs and starfish. "There are many things nature can do. If you take a moment to learn what it can do, you can truly appreciate the beauty of it no matter where you are. All nature is linked, plants and animals alike in a complex system. Nature is amazing, if you give it the chance."

Namorel replied quickly on Tekuma's response, "I didn't mean it seriously, I understand the extremities of life." He was curious as to what kind of life could bother itself to evolve in this environment however and looked into the camera. The various life forms were littered with colors the mere surface water would not have you assume existed underneath,
"Many of the native non-sentient life on Namek are shy, we rarely observe them, but those that stray from the packs we help back home." Namorel said, reminiscing a memory of a trip to the waterfront with his father, before his death. A small namekian whale was washed ashore and the two helped her back into the water. He saw many connections he could already draw between the two planets to make him feel more at home.

Tekuma gave a small nod, choosing not to judge Namorel. "Hey, everyone and everything can adapt if given the chance. It's how our ancestors lived, yours and mine alike. Everyone is unique, but you have to embrace your differences to reach your true potential. As a person or as a fighter, it is all up to you."
Her eyes were misted over as she stared out over the water, seeing a little fish washed into the beach. Carefully picking up the tiny fish, she waded into the water and set it back in, watching the little creature swim away. She was clearly a gentle soul as she walked back up the beach, sitting on the shore. "When the sun sets at night, if you sit and look out over the water, the sky turns beautiful colors and the water turns orange the moment the sun touches the horizon."

Namorel could only agree with what the girl had to say, her wisdom was vast. Reminding him of the elders back home. They were the wisest people he had met and just by the example that stood before him he saw there was much brimming potential for him to learn more on this planet. He could hear the waves in the background, rolling individually until they came to a crash at the shore, pulling the water back to its source and where it will once more be tossed towards the shore.
Tekuma mentioned the color the water changes at sunset when the local star hits the horizon. Orange ting would add an interesting definition to this already oddly colored liquid of saltiness. "I'm still new to this concept of night time..." Namorel spoke as he looked to the horizon and then up to the sun. "On Namek it is always day time, so the scenery doesn't change too much." This planet contained a plethora of mysticism that drew him further and further into how the planet functions and how greatly it varries of Namek.

The hybrid turned her bright green eyes on Namorel, which when they caught the sunlight, seemed to glow. She wasn't a full demon. She had a human mother and demon father, both of which were responsible for some of her wisdom, along with the teachings of Orange Star high, she school she went to and where she learned it all.
"I've read about Namek myself, there is a book on the subject of the green planet. I know almost everything I know from learning thanks to my parents, and studying it myself or having it taught by my high school teachers."
Tekuma sighed, looking out over the ocean, which glittered in the light from the sun. "You're one of the few I've met that don't ridicule me for being half demon. Adults stare, other kids make fun of me, it's just a bit hurtful sometimes. It usually doesn't get to me, I have to live with it a lot so it's become something rather.. Normal."

"Learning is of great importance, my elders made sure to teach my and my peers everything he knew, but as I have realized today... I still have a long ways to go." Namorel replied, laughing some at his comment towards the end, but meaning it sincerely as he knew little of this planet... or of any other aside from Namek at tha matter. Most of what he learned was lore and survival techniques... the essentials, but nothing really too academic, some reading here and some math there.
"There is no reason to judge one by their origin. Common courtesy important and respect for another is key." Namorel said punctually, he wan't one to associate himself with non-namekians or species with a similar skin tone at least, but this young halfling was intriguing to him. Her eyes however brought him back to his days on namek, that shade of green reminding him of the sky during some of the celestial events.
"I assure I will get more looks than you if I got somewhere where my people are less common" He retorted somewhat jokingly, but fearing it as truth.

Tekuma sighed, sitting with her legs crossed and staring over the blue water. "No matter where anyone goes, people judge based on looks alone sometimes, not even bothering to see the character within."
The tiny silver somewhat-circle of the moon was still visible, and the halfling pointed up at it. "Hey, Namorel. Look up there. You see the tiny silver object in the sky? That's the moon, the thing responsible for the tides. It's always a circle and we never see the other half. The sunlight reflects off the moon, giving the illusion of it changing shape, when it really depends on where its at in the orbit around the planet."

Namorel nodded at the girl's wisdom. She was right however, even on Namek Namorel saw issues like this develop and social groups formed with in the caste, causing for the elder to intervene in the situation nd make it fair amongst all of Namorel's peers. He rarely associated with the others so he stood unaffected by this division in the caste. It did however create tension.
The moon stood stapily in the sky, still visible in the daylight hours, not overshadowed by its bright neighbor. "I saw it last night... it is so peculiar being on a planet with a cycle that ends without sunlight. He gazed up at the moon, the small silver satellite made him want to see it closer up some time... perhaps this was merely his curiosity at a new celestial entity, or perhaps he shared this thought with others. "It is nice not having constant sunlight, the darkness of night is an interesting experience for the first time.
