[OOC: Starting us off simply, more words later]
A quiet pool in the back end of the Fukurou forest. A calm cool place hidden away from the world of Man, the only few things ever reaching this place were some animals quenching their thirst or the abundant number of plants that grew nearby. Almost always nearly silent, serene in atmosphere, certainly a place one might expect some ancient Dao master meditating on the nature of the universe. Certainly this very day would be such a day for that. The sun shined down through the leaves of the surrounding trees, tinted green and dying the pool turquoise. At the side of this little pool knelt a single human, just then bringing a vial into the water and out once more, holding it up to his eyes to inspect the contents. Nodding to himself as if satisfied, he corked the small vial and placed it away in a container, a Hoi Poi Capsule.
The man was dressed in a pair of black slacks, a simple white tee-shirt, and a long labcoat with deep pockets and reinforced with stronger polymer fibers. His shoes were simple, suitable for everyday business or jogging, and a glint in his eyes spoke of some advanced contact lenses. Those lenses were actually a Scouter, set only to sense energy emissions from mechanical beings. The man was named Katsu Yuda, a scientist and Bio-Engineer, contractual worker for the BBA, and a generally knowledge obsessed individual. His purpose here was to gather exotic samples from places far away from humans, for a great project he had been working on for quite a while now.
Sighing to himself Katsu packed away that Hoi Poi capsule, standing and stretching his legs. “Ah, to think my assistants don't have the will to come out and gather these samples themselves.... perhaps I might have already completed my project if I could focus on it without having to fetch samples myself...”

A specific hybrid was taking his time wandering within the expansive forest. Two powerful creatures roamed about aimlessly; taking in the sights of the seemingly ceaseless trees. Unfortunately, that was what the hybrid had hoped to enjoy that day...a quiet day with his beloved wife. A particularly impudent arcosian had intervened with his few moments alone. Charging beyond what the hybrid normally could, Frigi Darium had made his unexpected albeit painful return. A significant strike to the left cheek, the hybrid Celmaru Waterfield was sent flying across the forest; being flung above the trees beforehand as he fell in an arcing motion.
"Watch where you're going, dumbass!"
"Frigi! What are you doing to my husband?!"
"Hey weed lady, borrowing your hybrid for a while."
Rocketing away from the seaweed woman, Phae Waterfield promptly floated after them. As her husband made his forcefully-made way towards a random cardinal direction, Celmaru groaned in immediate exasperation; this wasn't going to end peacefully, was it? The arcosian had intruded upon Celmaru's vision before his facial features began to crack.
"Lucky shot, moron!"
"That's what they all say, diluted Saiyan!"
Frigi disappeared; his Ki skyrocketing. The hybrid gave no resistance against his given velocity, however the earth beneath him was growing ever closer. Gravity didn't appear to be his companion today. Clenching his fists, the hybrid frantically shoved his Ki around his figure, haphazardly adjusting his position before crash-landing beside a clearing. The animals nearby didn't seem to care; as the impact was minimal in both sound and its expulsion of loose debris.
'Even unfocused...flight can be wonderful....and inefficient.'
Groaning within the clutches of a crushed bush's branches, Celmaru leaped to his feet; his ire becoming begrudgingly piqued. Stroking his injured cheek lightly, the hybrid noticed the seemingly Human individual standing nearby. Several animals began to retreat into the forest upon his sudden appearance, alongside his prompt actions. Glancing towards the humanoid man behind him, the hybrid made incredibly brief small-talk.
"Hello, how might you be today? And no, don't worry, I'll be fine once a certain bastard arcosian is put down from his egotistical power trip."
Despite sparing his life and defeating a massive demonic, skeletal being together; Celmaru still despised Frigi.
"Hey hybrid! Where ya hiding? We need to get your ass kicked before your little wifey shows up!"
"Are you fucking insane?! There's a Human here!"
"Did you believe that I ever cared?"
An aura of pure arrogance enveloped the arcosian; albeit for good reason. As the hybrid faced the sky at his impromptu opponent, an expansive swirl of energy encompassed the changeling's form; his muscular mass expanding beyond typical belief. It seemed that everyone would simply bulk themselves beyond their limits to obtain more strength. Leaving his eyelids partially open, Celmaru suddenly found little objective to continue with this; Frigi has already disadvantaged himself. Shifting his gaze towards the Human man, the hybrid shrugged.
"Prideful Arcosians aren't the most fun to deal with, are they?"
"Behold! My most powerful and ultimately final form!"
"Ah, your clothes would suggest that you're a scientist of some sort, perhaps? What would your most studied aspect of science would it be?"
"Hey! Are you fucking ignoring me?!"
"Oh yes, I apologize...my wife must be searching for me, and you were surely doing something here before I abruptly appeared. I'll leave you to your business."
"HEY! I JUST ACHIEVED A NEW LEVEL OF POWER! WHY AREN'T YOU SHOCKED IN PURE AWE?!"
Growling beneath his teeth, the impatient arcosian shot towards his opponent, thrusting an oversized fist at his shoulder. With a reflexive twitch and a sudden burst of Ki, a golden aura appeared before fading immediately. The light gray fist of the changeling rested within the hybrid's palm as Celmaru's gaze drilled into Frigi's.
"Cease being such a arrogant moron, revert to your Suppressed Form, and leave. You're acting akin to a jester in a royal hall."
"...."
Shifting his gaze back to the humanoid, scratching his left temple with his left index finger as he spoke. Celmaru didn't want to appear completely rude, or possibly even more battle-oriented than most of his kind.
"Now, where were we, good sir?"

The quiet solitude that Katsu was experiencing as he knelt near the pool was about to be shattered. He was gathering samples of the various algae and microorganisms present in the water, taking samples from multiple points of the small pool. It might not seem very exciting, but it was this kind of hard work that results were made of. This pool was completely untouched by humanity for eons. It might contain completely common things, or it might contain priceless treasures. It was a wonderful gamble and Katsu smiled to himself as he scooped up a few more vials of the brackish water.
Of course Katsu felt those monstrous sets of Ki flowing out of creatures within a few hundred meters of his position, and of course he realized that any one of them were completely capable of erasing him from existence with a flick of their wrists, but Katsu was a true fanatic when it came to learning. He wasn't going to let the chance of destruction interrupt his search for something new! Something that could let him complete the Project he had sworn to finish. It was a matter of a Scholar's Pride, and the very thing that Katsu felt he was born to do!
But that didn't mean that Katsu wasn't going to factor in the danger level. Before he had been taking the sample by hand, mostly because he enjoyed the sensation of gathering things with his own hands, but in the face of the potential threat, Katsu switched to the much more efficient method of telekinesis, dozens of vials of water being filled and stored in a single moment before Katsu stored the many vials in his Hoi Poi capsule and pocketed it.
Which was very good timing for at the very moment Katsu half-stood from his kneeling position a strange humanoid, possibly with some Saiyan blood given his aura of Ki and the structure of his skeletal system (Saiyans always seemed a little bit more ape-ish than humans, even when not in their Oozaru forms. Not noticeable by the average Joe, but Katsu was a prodigy at Biology, he knew how those bones molded the muscles and skin above), came crashing through half a dozen trees and bushes before sliding across the ground, thoroughly destroying the pool with the momentum of his descent.
For a long moment Katsu was completely speechless, his jaw hanging open slightly. The Pool! It was completely gone! The force of the humanoid's descent had splashed the water everywhere so much so that there was none left in what was left of the hole it used to sit in. Katsu was so taken aback by this destruction of such a wonderful source of potential knowledge that he didn't even hear the words that were being spoken at the time. He slowly registered the fact that the floating Arcosian was the one who had caused the problem though.
Said Arcosian, who was currently staring at Celmaru in confusion at his utter disregard of the Arcosian, didn't even seem to notice Katsu was even there. It was easy....so SO easy, for Katsu to gather up a bit of the water that had been splashed about, and form it into a thin rope with his telekinesis, floating it up to begin circling about the Arcosian's foot, leading back to his own hands. It took only a moment, and even Celmaru who was paying attention wouldn't even sense a spike of Katsu's Ki as a mass of lightning built up in his hand. After all in this situation it was all about stealth and not power. Katsu couldn't hope to effect the Arcosian with his strength...unless the Arcosian wasn't even aware Katsu could do anything.
The very moment that little circle of water locked tight around the Arcosian's foot Katsu merely touched his hand to the other end of the mass of water. The lightning grounded through the water and up into the Arcosian's body in an instant. Yet in that instant the Arcosian became aware of a potential threat and tried to prepare a defense against whatever pain Katsu attempted to dish out... only to be completely swept away not by pain but pure sensory pleasure. So much so it completely overloaded his brain for a few seconds, the whole world going white as he experienced the closest thing to bliss mortals ever did.
The look on the Arcosians's face a moment after Katsu struck would surely be the most lewd and pleasure induced coma face anyone had ever seen on an Arcosian. Snapping his fingers in irritation Katsu caused that little string of water to whip around in a circle, pulling the stunned Arcosian along with it, faster and faster and faster! The sound of the Sound Barrier being shattered in the area could be heard as that speed continued to steadily rise under Katsu's direction. His telekinesis could only accelerate so much matter so fast, but when whipping something about in a circle he could endlessly stack up that motion; after all his telekinesis relied on manipulating gravity, so making it so that the forward motion was forcibly curved around a single point was well within his grounds to do.
Finally speaking Katsu called out in a calm voice, “Mach Four... Seven.... Eleven. Fifteen... Twenty...away with you...to Yunzabit Heights...” With an almighty wrench Katsu merely stopped controlling the curvature of the Arcosian's forward motion, flinging the creature high up into the sky at an impressive speed, the clouds parting at the creature's passing as they flew up out of the Earth's atmosphere, if only long enough to crash somewhere far to the North...perhaps it would indeed be the Yunzabit Heights...
Shaking his head and pocketing his hands Katsu let out a big sigh, “Some fighters are complete idiots. I couldn't have done any of that if he had paid me any attention at all, but most fighters get a bit of skill in manipulating Ki and think it's the end all power that can't be beat. You. I see you've got some Saiyan in you. Take that as a lesson. Never discount the power of those you think are weaker than you, it can end... much worse than what I did to the Arcosian...
“And lower your Powerlevel! I don't want that guy to just come flying back and be able to find us through our Ki signatures. It's bad enough this pool was destroyed, no need to burn down the whole forest with a Ki battle.” Katsu looked over the extent of the damage, looking irritated for a moment, “Oh, by the way. I'm Katsu Yuda, Bio-Engineer working for the BBA currently. Yo.” Katsu raised his right hand in something between a wave and a salute as he spoke his last word, looking at Celmaru from over his right shoulder...

Celmaru had little idea of what he had just witnessed. Given what the Human man described, his arcosian opponent had been blasted to Yunzabit Heights at a velocity measured in Mach levels. Frigi's facial expression beforehand was akin to nothing other than utter bliss; indescribable by typical men or woman alike. Despite how lewd whatever caused this was, the hybrid was impressed by how swiftly it silenced the arrogant changeling. Standing upright, his palm lowered to its respective side as the man spoke.
"...Some warriors are morons, hmm?"
In regards of Frigi, it was entirely agreeable. In regards of those such as Walker or possibly even himself; it was nigh insulting. A minuscule twitch of the brow occurred whilst a brief ramble over ignorant warriors ensued and concluded. Upon the note of Celmaru's Saiyan blood, however, the hybrid flinched. His facial expression displayed clear surprise, if not expecting something else. Folding his arms across his chest, turning fully to face his acquaintance, the hybrid began to reply before being interrupted. Apparently this man had more to say yet. Another prominent, albeit less noticeable Ki began to close in.
"That moron can't sense Ki, nor does he have an obviously visible scouter. However yes, I see your point."
Suppressing his Ki by a vast amount, the hybrid began to appear weaker than the Human after a single moment. The mention of the pool immediately piqued the hybrid's attention; he had eliminated something on accident. Celmaru's facial features contorted to express concern and guilt as he hastily apologized.
"Oh sweet Kai, I apologize! I'm sorry for any inconveniences I've caused for you!"
The indent of earth near the two was barren of the water that it previously held. Katsu didn't appear extremely furious with him, however the guilt of causing such a incident was evident. The other Ki signature was suddenly within an arm's reach by now; slamming itself with the hybrid. Not a soul would likely be able to hear the hybrid's semi-mental shouts as his wife tackled him; once again out of a plethora of other times.
The seaweed woman was often not the best at subtle entrances, especially so after a few moments away from her beloved husband. The impact was less significant compared to Celmaru's, yet it made a minuscule crater all the same. Broken particles of a fragmented, visibly more solid Ki began to fade around several of the hybrid's major limbs. The hybrid groaned from his received tackle, despite its intentions to be harmless.
"...Phae...please refrain...from assaulting me like that...later on...understood?"
"Yes, husband~"
Phae had immediately begun to embrace the hybrid; promptly resting herself atop him.
"Phae, don't press up against me so much...let those two breathe too."
A Bio-Engineer would likely identify a pregnant organism with ease, however Phae wasn't exactly a normal organism to begin with. Haphazardly obtaining lift via flight, Celmaru cautiously readjusted his positioning. As the couple eventually became vertical, the hybrid continued their conversation. The hybrid gently held his wife by the shoulders as he did so.
"Its a pleasure to meet you, Katsu. This woman here is Phae Waterfield, my wife. I am Celmaru Waterfield...and once again, a pleasure to meet you. I'm unfortunately not employed in any sort of intriguing field of work, however a Bio-Engineer is a rather interesting sight. Surely you're likely to be more impressive than one such as Frigi would believe you to be."
Phae has arrived! Inform me if you need a reference, @katsu! Ki Setting active! PL is now 5,000!
A slightly more lengthy post will likely ensue after this one; hoping to prove Katsu wrong if he assumes Celmaru has a lack of advanced control over his Ki!

With a quick wave of his hand Katsu tried to throw off Celmaru's guilt over the destruction of the pool. Katsu was aware of his surroundings enough to know that it wasn't Celmaru or his wife Phae who had begun the ruckus. Obviously it was the rather idiotic Arcosian that had instigated the fight and caused Celmaru's rather strong body to collide with the pool. “Don't apologize. I know it was the Arcosian who started it. Also, I've luckily completed my purpose to gather some samples here and..” Katsu trailed off with the arrival of another high power level, this one attached to some sort of seaweed...maybe kelp? Based humanoid.
Katsu stared for a long moment, trying to classify what kind of organism “Phae” was. Eventually he had to give up altogether on the effort because she just didn't. Make. Sense. She couldn't exist like she did. No creature could just be a piled together mass of seaweed. And the kelp that made up her form was just kelp as well, there was no explanation as to why it would stick together like that. Obviously the form he saw before him wasn't really the truth; Phae was somehow controlling the kelp and seaweed to form a humanoid body. She probably didn't look like that normally at all. “Oh, I get it. Possession. You're possessing the seaweed and kelp that makes up that body. You're more likely some sort of incorporeal being, not a normal biological one. Sadly, that's about the extent of my knowledge on the more mystical beings of our galaxy, for now anyway. I'm not even going to ask how you got pregnant from a humanoid, because I don't think the answer follows normal logic. Magic is such a strange force...” Katsu trailed off as he thought on Phae's circumstances, trying to figure out how an incorporeal being managed to procreate with a humanoid, let alone get pregnant.
Very strange indeed. Either way it wasn't really why Katsu was out here in the first place, so he turned his attention from that brain-breaking thought and went back to concentrating on the surroundings. With his telekinetic power Katsu could eventually return the area back to the way it was, but it had already been contaminated by the presence of humanoids. It's value as a potential Primordial DNA hotspot had been ruined. Even if he returned it to the way it was, he didn't have the ability to strip away the influence that Celmaru and Phrigi had already put upon the place.
Still there wasn't a good reason to deprive the woodland animals around here of a water source. It was important to the ecology of everything here. Katsu placed both hands out in front of him, the earth and water that had been scattered by the multiple impacts in the area gathering up in front of him. Even the compressed earth left behind in the crater's Celmaru's body slowly expanded back to their original density, and within a minute of concentration the entire are looked much the way t did before, except that the pool here was clear. Katsu had put the silicates in the soil at the bottom of the pool, rather than interspersed around the area. Plants and algae wouldn't be able to grow very well in the waters now, leaving it much cleaner for any animals that wanted a drink.
Giving an exhale from his effort Katsu dusted his hands off and looked to Celmaru, “Well, as a fighter, my skill is far below most of the specialists on the planet, especially in comparison to the likes of Reikiko, Vi Poi, Walker, Bing, Liang, and some others I'm sure you've heard of, but I do have some pride in my Bio-Engineering skill. I also hope to expand my knowledge to include many other subjects as well, but for now I feel the need to finish a certain project for my former colleagues.
“But what of you? What goals do you have for the future Mr and Mrs Waterfield?” Katsu's asked this last with a quick smile. His curiosity extended to more than just academic leanings, he wanted to know about people and their goals. He didn't want to just learn himself, he wanted to help others learn. To help them move forward on their own paths, because they just might learn something new that Katsu might never have learned on his own...

Despite Katsu's claim to cease the hybrid's apologizing, there still an urge to do so. Failing to resist the urge to rectify any sort of issue caused by his appearance, Celmaru was fortunately interrupted by his wife. Phae guided a feminine finger towards her husband's lips, silencing him with a mere gesture. Promptly spinning about, she replied to Katsu's remark herself.
"My my, certain people find it entertaining to injure my beloved husband..."
"I'm fine, he's still weaker than me-"
"Then what is that bruise on your cheek from?"
The hybrid could only look away, refusing to answer. The seaweed woman playfully struck the hybrid upon the chest, just above his heart. The couple failed to notice Katsu's lengthy staring in the meantime. Phae patted over the hybrid husband's facial features in the moments prior, tearing away a fraction of her "clothing" to prepare a haphazard seaweed gauze. The type that she had supplied was oddly sticky. A particularly green strip of seaweed gauze was applied to Celmaru's cheek, the injury concealed by its shape.
"This isn't necessary, Phae."
"It certainly is! I despise seeing you injured!"
"Please don't fret so much, it isn't healthy."
Katsu began assuming what Phae had done to achieve a physical body; obtaining her pregnant state. A claim of being unable to follow the universe's usual logic only piqued enough of Celmaru's attention for an eyebrow to shoot skyward. Thoughts of what did occur prior to Phae conceiving children forced a swift flush to taint the hybrid's facial features. Celmaru could only clear his throat awkwardly as a brief titter escaped the seaweed woman's lips.
"Magic is a strange anomaly, yes. A man by the name of Ayumu often makes use of it, from I've seen. Then again, he's quite strange himself!"
A light, slightly forced chuckle reverberated from within the hybrid's throat, his teeth grit. A light, albeit weak smile tugged at the hybrid's facial expression in the same moment. As his laughter began to fade, Katsu's telekinetic capabilities came to light; the water that was previously dispensed via the hybrid's impact began to accumulate. Within mere moments, the pool was as it was previously; filled and drinkable. Celmaru could only whistle in response, simply impressed. Phae, meanwhile, gleefully clapped at Katsu's consideration for nature. The seaweed woman leaned backwards, falling into her husband's arms gently as the Bio-Engineer began to mention his ability...along with a few names.
"....Reikiko is a person I don't desire to have any interaction with....please refrain from mentioning her name. Especially so since she murdered Walker a few months ago."
'....Commander Azure?'
'....'
'....I've heard plenty about Bing, yet I haven't met him once. Its unfortunate about what happened to him.'
"....Hm? I've never heard of someone named Liang, I apologize. Beyond that, I haven't heard many names in regards of the universe's most major powers. Bing and Walker, yes, albeit I've only met Walker in person. As for Bing, or what I might assume to be Commander Azure; it seems I'm not worthy of doing so currently."
Katsu then mentioned the potential plans and/or dreams the two had for the future. What a complicated inquiry that was. There were a plethora of aspects of the hybrid's life that he had hoped to have gone as he imagined, whether it be idealistic or not. Phae had plenty of ideas as well, albeit some of which are more simple. The couple pondered their answer to this inquiry for several moments, both of them eventually folding their arms in thought. The seaweed woman rested partially atop her husband's folded arms during this time.
'What to say...'
'Such a conundrum...'
'That's a rather appropriate term for this, yes.'
Another few moments passed before they finally decided upon their answers. The hybrid spoke first, his beloved wife following suit soon after.
"...I'd like to believe my ideas for the future would be a bit more organized then they actually happen to be. Raising what family I'll happen to have within a few months would be the recommended beginning, I would believe. Being able to protect the family I have with the strength I acquire would be wonderful, as well. I also wish to become proficient in a subject akin to robotics, or even computer science. Technology often fascinated me as an adult, yet I've been unable to attend college due to previous troubles...and I've often found myself busy with training, assisting Phae every once and a while, raising our adoptive son, etcetera."
"Ahem...er...regardless, I'd also love to know of the other species within this universe. I've come across only but one Majin, Namekian, Bio-Android, and Konatsian. I've met an immense plethora of Humans and Saiyans, some of which were both of those two. Learning about the species of those I know little of would be a great help, in combat or not. Besides that, I'd just like to see everyone safe...and to possibly find a transformation that wasn't a Saiyan's."
The hybrid muttered a final goal under his breath as he concluded his speech. Phae chimed in not a moment after.
"I wouldn't say I have much akin to goals, but more along such lines of dreams. I wish to keep everyone happy and healthy, especially any children that happen to join us in our family."
Celmaru's facial features began to redden at this remark.
"I hope to see a galaxy that's peaceful and happy; for the newer generations of both non-fighting people and warriors alike to see little strife in. I hate to see anyone argue of become injured, even if it was unavoidable. I've spent years unable to proficiently heal anyone, I'd love to be able to learn more about medicine. Hmm~...I suppose that truly is a goal of mine, isn't it~?"
Celmaru guided his left hand atop his wife's cranium, patting it lightly. The hybrid's flushed expression hadn't faded yet. The two awaited Katsu's response within the meantime. The seaweed woman found an odd comfort within the hybrid's petting, her facial expression displaying her satisfaction completely. Beyond that, the answers were there; awaiting the Bio-Engineer's reply.
I apologize for the slight delay, @katsu, but here's a post for you! :3

Katsu gave a little bit of a chuckle when he heard that Celmaru knew Ayumu. For some reason he wasn't surprised. Ayumu seemed to meet a lot of people on his travels, knew a lot of strong people. Kinda like Katsu himself, now that he thought about it. “Ah, seems like everybody knows old man Ayumu.”
Then Katsu stayed quiet as Celmaru and Phae gave their opinions on the people that Katsu had spoken of, as well as answering his query about their goals for the future. As far as goals went both of them had rather idealist and simple goals; which wasn't a bad thing at all. It spoke of a simple honesty in their hearts. These were the kind of people who if they said they would defend you, they would, and with their lives on the line for it. Dependable. Worthy of being friends with certainly. Katsu gave a smile, “Heh. I like your answers. They're very... solid goals. Nice and linear; you know what you want even if it's not something that's likely to happen in the next week. I suppose some of my goals are like that, but a lot of them are so different from yours, so vague...
“See my first goal is more like a duty. I told you my colleagues died during the Saiyan Invasion right? Well we were all working on a special project, and when the invasion happened the entire team except for me got crushed by an Oozaru, and even our lab was completely pulverized. So my first goal is just to complete the project, in memory of my colleagues who literally gave their lives for Science. After that my goal is just.... to learn. Everything I can.” Katsu gave a smile as he finished his little response. Taking a capsule from his pocket he tossed it to the ground as it exploded into a puff of smoke, which when cleared revealed a mobile refrigerator, battery powered and all. Inside it would be absolutely stocked with dozens of different kinds of foods that could match the palette of any human and plenty of other species. Also included were a dozen different kinds of beverages to choose from, from soft drinks to sports drinks to water to wine to beer to fruit juices... Plenty of options for someone to make a meal from.
Katsu himself grabbed a black soft drink of some kind and some cold cut sandwiches before waving at Celmaru and Phae to take their pick from the fridge as well. Sandwich and drink in hand Katsu would fold his legs up into the lotus position and just float while sitting comfortably. Once Celmaru and Phae chose their own food and beverage he'd ask a question before biting into his sandwich, “So, either of you in the mood to learn or teach? I like doing both, both increase the knowledge of those involved...”

The claim that nigh everyone knew of the elder Ayumu wasn't truly unfounded. That insane, perverted, albeit well-meaning elder surely too many people for a typical mortal to comprehend, much less excluding his own age. Living for Kai-knows how long would surely allow anyone enough time to meet so many people within such a vast universe.
"Ayumu has met quite the plethora of people, yes. Its odd to truly see him close enough to my family to consider him akin to a grandfather...given how many people have surely been close to him."
Dismissing his inquiries over the enigmatic elder, the hybrid listened to Katsu as he seemingly evaluated his goals, along with Phae's. The Bio-Engineer appeared to appreciate what the couple had stated; finding them to be solid goals to strive towards. Celmaru simply guided his right palm to his cheek, scratching at it absentmindedly. The hybrid warrior didn't expect to really be praised for such typical goals; at least for someone akin to himself. The seaweed woman, meanwhile, chimed in with a pleased tone; finding Katsu's evaluation satisfactory.
"Thank you, Katsu~!"
The Bio-Engineer's own ramblings began with his own goals; albeit he noted that the majority of which were supposedly vastly different, or even vague. The couple began to listen intently upon this remark. Yet his oddly desensitized statements involving his former colleagues and their demises caught the utmost attention from the two; Phae's facial expression contorting into a empathetic gaze. The hybrid, otherwise, could only bring forth a rather grim expression.
"You...er...hadn't mentioned such a thing, no."
Being told of an entire team of scientists that perished for the sake of their most prized subject...it was nigh baffling. Celmaru often noticed that many Humans would simply save themselves before anything else, if truly anything else. Unfortunately, to fall via an Oozaru...and unfortunate fate at best. An uncontrollable, violent and enraged behemoth hell-bent on pure destruction wasn't the most merciful of all Saiyan forms, to say the least. Katsu continued with his brief story, concluding with his other goal; to learn as much as possible. Within the depths of Celmaru's mind, he praised himself for once; for removing his tail several years ago.
An uncomfortable silence fell over the couple as the Bio-Engineer revealed a sizeable refrigerator containing a bountiful "harvest" of foodstuffs and drinks alike. The hybrid even spotted a bottle or two of alcohol within the fridge as Katsu obtained a minuscule meal for himself. Memories from the Saiyan Invasion lingered as the Human waved politely for the two to procure their own meals. The sight of Lady Death's golden Oozaru form didn't appeal any more to Katsu's story within the hybrid's mind any more than it initially did.
Phae hesitated, pondering upon something that could be said before grasping a small bottle of water. Celmaru didn't decide to take anything...at least for now. The Bio-Engineer then gave an inquiry; if the two were in any mood to learn or teach. Phae kept quiet, albeit her mind was accelerating with thoughts of those who perished. The hybrid spoke in response, however his voice had begun to attempt to remove any traces of the thoughts of fallen comrades, or even family.
"I doubt I have much to offer you in terms of teaching. I can only wonder what you would have stored within that head of yours, Katsu."
The seaweed woman sipped upon her bottle of water, its effects moisturizing her to an extent; the green hue of her skin and clothing becoming akin to an image of immense vitality. Phae's body grew in specific areas as to follow with this...to her husband's dismay. A positive influx of Ki enveloped her stomach for a brief moment, the two signs of life revealing themselves for a mere second. Phae's feminine hands remained upon the opposite sides of the water bottle, her fingertips lifting the container near her mouth often. The couple felt rather awkward being suddenly told of the Human's colleagues, however more than just them were on their mind. Unfortunately, this was obvious.
I apologize once again for the delay, @katsu !

Unfortunately Katsu was one of those people who tended to miss some important social cues because of the way his mind worked. To him his revealing how his colleagues had died was just part of normal conversation, not worthy of any extra emotional investment by anybody involved just then. To Celmaru and Phae however it was something that would immediately darken the tone and ruin their mood, and Katsu wouldn't even be able to understand why. At least on an emotional level; perhaps if they explained the logic behind it he might understand... Either way, Katsu completely disregarded their discomfort and moved straight on to the next point of conversation, teaching! “Ah. I'll be honest if you're looking for a combat worthy technique I'm no help as it is. I've not enough control over my Ki to properly test out my theories and it'd be dangerous to teach you a technique I wasn't sure worked the way I think it does... Oh! Perhaps you'd like to learn the technique I used upon Phrigi? I call it..
“Electroshock Therapy: Positive Reinforcement.” Katsu snapped his fingers, a little burst of electricity arcing between his fingers for a moment before the natural electromagnetic conditions of the area discharged the energy harmlessly. A bit melodramatic, but fun to do. “Rather useful in and out of combat. You use an electric stimulus to target the Pituitary Gland and the Hypothalamus; causing them to release Endorphins and Dopamine. Endorphins give you a rush of pleasure throughout your entire body, and Dopamine deadens pain. Between the two all your pain turns off and is replaced with pure pleasure. The sensory barrage is enough to overload your nervous system and leave you twitching on the ground for roughly six seconds. It's about the most merciful way to incapacitate someone I could think of.
“I usually use it on irate test subjects to calm them down, or on a... partner, if you get my meaning.” Katsu gave a very pointed look between Celmaru and Phae, making his meaning as clear as he could without actually coming out and saying “Sexual partner”. “Here, let me get out a training model...” Reaching into his pocket for another Capsule Katsu brought forth an advanced hologram projector. When turned on it immediately brought up the image of a rather average looking human wearing your standard street clothes. It would have some more...solidarity than a normal Hologram, being able to be touched, although the sensation wasn't that of touching flesh but of touching some kind of glass. With this Katsu would begin explaining the workings of his technique to Celmaru, having him practice the technique on the hologram, the device giving feedback on how effective Celmaru's technique was, and whether or not he actually caused the target pleasure or pain. It'd be a very finesse type technique, requiring a great deal of control over the electricity he would generate to succeed. It might take minutes or hours just to get the basics down, but Katsu had plenty of food and drink to share and nothing important to do in the mean time, so he would be there with Celmaru and Phae, always guiding the man, giving a hint here or there on how to control the technique properly. [Katsu teaches Celmaru, and possibly Phae, his Positive Reinforcement technique] Technique Name: Electroshock Therapy: Positive Reinforcement Type & Tier: [SU1/2/3] Class: Ki Requirements: --- Description: A 100/200/300% 1 round Stunning Technique. Charging up a specialized Electric charge in his body Katsu will simply touch the intended target, causing the electricity to discharge into their body, seeking out their brain and stimulating their Pituitary Gland and Hypothalamus in order for them to produce Endorphins and Dopamine respectively, or the equivalent version in the case of something inhuman. This creates a rush of pleasure and deadens any pain the creature is feeling, and the sensory overload is enough to stun most creatures for a single round. One can resist this effect, but are still stunned as they shake it off. As the technique is electricity based, it can be discharged through conductive materials such as most metals and water. Katsu can choose to directly stimulate the brain or can choose to locally stimulate the target's nerves in the area touched. Katsu tends to use this on irate experiment subjects to calm them down.

"The technique used on Frigi? Actually, yes, I was wondering about that."The technique in question, apparently, was aptly named 'Electroshock Therapy: Positive Reinforcement. An ability to bring a warrior light years beyond another to their blissful knees was certainly one to know of. As the Bio-Engineer began to explain, the hybrid found himself leaning forward intently, his cranium floating mere inches above Phae's right shoulder. However, an unfortunate irritation overcame the hybrid as Katsu explained the Electroshock Therapy technique. While the Orange Star High School's Physical Education courses were excellent, as were Celmaru's grades in the class; the subject of legitimate Biology was an unfortunate class compared to others. Despite what Celmaru did know, he despised being unable to educate, nor remember certain subjects. The Bio-Engineer's seemingly simplified explanation not but a breath after his previous sentence...only further piqued what stubborn ire remained within his mind.
'Six seconds of non-existent pain and unimaginable bliss. That appears rather...er...inappropriate, if used in an odd way.'
Katsu's pointed gaze suggested something even worse to the hybrid. As his facial expression became tainted over a violent flush, the seaweed woman's gaze suddenly became lustful. Celmaru frantically leaped away, his facial features beet red. "Oh~ my~, it seems that Celmaru has a naughty mind in that head of his~""That was Katsu's idea and you know it, Phae!""Husband was the one that was wondering about it~! You had ideas of when and how to use it, didn't you~?""...For combat." "I heard hesitation in your voice~"The hybrid cleared his throat awkwardly, his flushed expression refusing to settle itself. Phae giggled in a particularly jovial tone as Katsu revealed a hologram model; supposedly for practice. Tugging at his black shirt's collar, the hybrid stepped before the hologram Human; seemingly unassuming. Guiding a hesitant right palm towards the figure, an oddly solid sensation registered within Celmaru's cranium. Quirking a brow to such a strange hologram, the hybrid's Ki began to envelop his risen hand; a sort of thin membrane representing armor. Retracting the now armored fingers of Celmaru's palm, his index finger arose once more.
"Now, I've notice sparks of electricity arcing between your fingers moments earlier. I'm unsure if I could ever replicate that, however I have been struck by lightning before...yet I doubt that would help me now."
Pondering on how to progress with this, the hybrid remembered the sparks that were generated as he transformed. With his right index finger still pointing towards the clear sky, Celmaru manifested a minuscule sphere of Ki; barely larger than his own fist. Its perimeter very rarely arced via its mere existence. Staring at the orb, the hybrid spoke.
"The manifestation of a warrior's Ki has often resembled plasma. The heat that it radiates increases as we pour more energy into any sort of technique, also increasing the sort of electricity that it produces as a byproduct. Yet if we lose focus on keeping such a destructive thing intact-"
The sphere erupted in the hybrid's face; albeit only akin to a firecracker's pop. A brief fizzle of static lingered as the orb's shape dissipated. Within these bountiful collection of moments, the seaweed woman contently sipped away at her bottle of water; simply spectating.
"Something like that occurs; that static. I haven't noticed many with such an aftereffect such as this, why do you think that is, Katsu? Well, regardless, I'll be making my first attempt now."
Pressing his index and middle finger together, the armored right palm was thrust into the solid hologram's skull; tapping the left side near the forehead. Unfortunately, Celmaru had forgotten where the Pituitary Gland was since his education days ended, yet the point of impact appeared close. Ki coursed through the hybrid's veins as he made his first attempt at Electroshock Therapy technique. The next moment of action would be decided by the hologram's reaction.
Lost a post and ended up making a similar post anyway!...I hope. Regardless, here you go @katsu!

If Katsu was one to laugh at situations that caused someone feel as if they'd die of embarrassment, he'd surely have been having a hearty laugh at Celmaru's expense just when his wife questioned him on the thoughts in his head. As it was Katsu merely gave an amused smile, and gave one last damning comment to make poor Celmaru want to sink into the ground probably, “Oh don't worry the technique is very versatile, Celmaru. In fact it need not even be aimed at someone's head. Once you have mastered the basics of the technique you'll be able to also use the technique to stimulate your target...in the area you touch...” Oh, if only Katsu were one to giggle.
Of course Celmaru would begin thinking of something, asking a question concerning the bio-electric discharge that certain Ki specialists tended to give off, and Katsu would give a quick run down of the how and why, “It's waste, of a sort. Electricity and Ki are the same thing. Er, well... Ki and electricity are both force carriers, also known as Energies, just like Gravity and the Nuclear forces. You can convert one to the other through various processes, and one common process is the conversion of electromagnetic energy to Ki energy via a Ki User digesting sustenance. We've even managed to replicate the process in Ki using Androids and machinery.
“Anyway, all that means is that electricity and Ki are easily swapped. Normally when you summon up some Ki it's not perfectly stable. If you summon a Ki ball in the palm of your hand and let it sit there....it will eventually degrade into something else. That something else is electricity, heat, and soundwaves. The lesser your control of your Ki, or the greater amount of Ki you are handling at once, the more amount of degradation is going on, and when you reach certain levels the electricity can discharge as bolts visible to the naked eye.” Katsu stopped his explanation, grabbing his drink and taking a long gulp of it before setting it back down. Katsu's voice had long ago changed from casual conversation to the sort of impassioned lecturing tone that Scientists tended to have during a convention, showing off their latest prize.
Taking a breath Katsu launched into the next part of his explanation, “The lightning arcing between my hands however was intentional. Ki is more...powerful? of an energy than electricity is, much like electricity is stronger than gravity. It takes a remarkably small amount of Ki to create a moderate amount of electrical charge. Merely focusing your Ki in your nerves is normally enough to create a charge that can become visible. More Ki equals a stronger charge, which is why poor Phrigi could have resisted my technique if he had been paying attention, as he could have used his Ki to block me. Luckily he's an idiot. If you were to use this technique he most likely would have no chance to avoid its effect. Now, let us return to the matter at hand...”
Turning back to the hologram Katsu tapped a few commands on his datapad, and the hologram became somewhat transparent, allowing Celmaru and Phae to see into the humanoid's head, the brain visible and also transparent, two small spots on the brain being lit up for Celmaru's convenience. It was the two key points Celmaru needed to affect. “Now, try again. Don't focus on getting your fingers close to the points. You want your technique to be able to ride along the target's nervous system, so as you keep attempting this I want you to move farther from the head with your taps...”

Katsu's initial comment didn't assist his nigh painfully red facial features. The hybrid's eyelids fell partially over his eyes, as if to halfheartedly glare at the Bio-Engineer. If the hybrid's head could truly produce steam to release heat, it would likely do so. Phae hid her facial expression behind her bottle of water, quivering via her suppressed laughter. It was until the first attempt was made, along with the beginning of Katsu's explanation that the hybrid finally registered the act of learning once again. Despite learning quite constantly in one of the most major aspects of life, that of which being martial arts, the hybrid often didn't find himself reviewing physics, nor pure science in his free time.
Katsu's explanation including the easily swapped Ki and electricity came with a raised brow, swiftly followed by the the periodic nodding. Celmaru's cranium bobbed upwards and downwards as he nodded to the Bio-Engineer's wordy definition. Gravity, Nuclear Forces, Electromagnetic Energy...it was somewhat outside what the hybrid was typically dealing with; he frustration over this fact began to boil his blood. The hybrid's left eye twitched, his dark brown locks of hair shuddering in the process. Turning to face the hologram whilst Katsu drank from his drink, Celmaru contemplated making another attempt in the meantime.
'I'll be awaiting your final results, husband~'
'...Please don't think I'm learning this technique for that reason...'
'Of course not, Celmaru~'
'...Why am I compelled to not believe you?'
'How rude!'
'That look on your face from earlier didn't convince me of any good intentions now.'
The somewhat conclusive portion of the Bio-Engineer's explanation left the hybrid with a rather vital piece of information. "Focusing Ki in your nerves"...that of which would appear surprisingly simple. The mention of Frigi, meanwhile, caught the hybrid's attention immediately. A light chuckle escaped his lips as oddly recent memories surfaced within his mind.
"You...have no idea. Truth be told, I wanted to murder that bastard a mere few months ago. Its strange how everything turned out, however...facing a massive- er...nevermind. That's something for another time."
The sudden change within the hologram civilian brought upon a rather assisted attempt this time around. The two pints within the Human skull which held the designated glands, followed by a word of advice. The head isn't necessarily where the hybrid would always have to strike, it seems. Lifting his right palm once more, its armor of Ki persisting about its digits, Celmaru sent rather unfocused Ki throughout his fingers. A light, tingling sensation numbed the tips of his digits, a slight discharge ruptured from his fingertips; a light crackle becoming audible from its spark.
"Hmm...Let's try this then."
A pearly white erupted from within the hybrid in an immediate moment. Due to the current level of suppression upon Celmaru's Ki, it wasn't much to sense, or even scan. Regardless, the hybrid's Ki had been multiplied fourfold, another collection of attempts being unleashed onto the unassuming hologram. Thrusting his middle and index fingers forward once again, the two digits connected with the civilian's Adam's Apple, the external jugular vein, pectoral muscle, Brachial Artery, Radial Nerve, the Common Hepatic Artery, Femoral Vein, etc. Accidentally, the hybrid nearly struck the hologram's crotch, however swiftly redirected his fingers with a brief spin, concluding his multiple attempts with a poke to the Epigastric Vein. The perfectly white aura of Celmaru's Ki faded, subtle hints of a light blue appearing before it completely faded. Breathing a sigh of relief after that oddly specific set of attacks, the hybrid took a step back to examine his work.
Trained Potential briefly activated! PL would be 20,000 for those few moments!

Tapping his chin Katsu watched as Celmaru repeated his attempts to stun the target by hitting them in various positions just above their vascular system. Katsu had to admit that while it wasn't really on point for learning the technique it did show the skill and finesse Celmaru could muster when he needed to; those finger taps had been both quick and precise. In combat a full power strike in those places could sever the arteries and veins, letting the target bleed out internally. An effective and somewhat vicious method of attack, as was proper of a trained martial artist.
Checking the data the hologram was registering Celmaru had reached about a 65% effectiveness ratio, which was decent but not outstanding, Katsu's own effectiveness was 100% naturally. He had devised the technique after all. Still Celmaru was making moves towards the right method. “Hrm. Not very orthodox, but still somewhat effective. Using the vascular system as the path for the energy to follow isn't as effective as the nervous system but still a valid method; the high water content mixed with the nutrients in the blood make for a very conductive liquid.
“For the sake of... completeness I'll have you use the nervous system this time. Here, I'll adjust the hologram to assist...” Katsu made a few more taps on his datapad and the entirety of the target's nervous system became visible, hundreds of feet of little pale yellow and grey lines that completely infested the body. There were billions of these little lines everywhere in the body. Even if Katsu removed the rest of the hologram and just left the nervous tissue one could easily tell that they were looking at a humanoid creature. Celmaru really had a lot of choices when it came to what nerves he wanted to use to channel his electricity through.
Katsu would watch as Celmaru would begin his attempts once more, but after a few moments spoke up with a question, “Are you aware that Walker had offered himself to Reikiko, Celmaru? That he approached her, challenged her to a duel when he knew he couldn't win, and let her absorb him? I don't know much of Walker, but he seems....completely loathing of the SSE to the point of obsession. I could imagine him having done such things in order to provide Reikiko with the power to try and take on Zucceta...
“So would you still say you dislike Reikiko, after knowing this?”

From what the hybrid could tell, he achieved nothing. Katsu's claim concerning Celmaru's unorthodox method of utilizing the Human body's various systems struck between irritation and an odd sort of pride within the hybrid. Prominently exhaling through his nostrils, the hybrid stared at the hologram as another informative explanation was made. The Bio-Engineer noticed Celmaru's use of the vascular system, however the hybrid could barely remember the damn name of it to begin with. The hybrid would only nod as Katsu noted the implied use of the nervous system; nigh required, perhaps.
'To think I actually needed knowledge of Biology at some point. Mr. Threadson was correct, all those years ago...'
As Katsu adjusted the hologram once again, the hybrid felt further irritated by the assisted visuals. A thin vein sprouted atop Celmaru's left temple as the nervous system revealed itself. Phae, meanwhile, was nearly finished with her bottle of water; the condensation of the drink fading away as the liquid drained. If the Bio-Engineer were to notice, the seaweed woman would appear healthier than before. A more fine shade of green encompassed the seaweed woman as she continued to spectate her husband's progress. Taking a rather hearty intake of oxygen, the hybrid exhaled as he returned to his bountiful attempts.
Extending his index and middle finger once again, Celmaru traced the Human Nervous System for his following attempts. Katsu, however, mentioned a rather unnecessary name as he began; Reikiko. The hybrid had only made roughly strikes before he suddenly paused, his palm clenching into a quivering fist. The mention of Walker's previous demise in the scuffle between the two spurred a rather ire-filled reaction. The Bio-Engineer's continued claim didn't assist the hybrid's formed opinion of this point.
"...Walker isn't that moronic...to just be eaten for some worthless Bio-Android to fight for him. Yes, Walker utterly despises the SSE for what it is and who leads its malicious agenda, but he wouldn't be that blind to what he'd be doing to move against it. You may believe that Walker would go to such lengths, but don't you realize that he's trying to keep this planet intact in any way he can?"
Bio-electricity arced about the hybrid's frame as he spoke, his dark brown locks of hair shuddering. The hybrid's brows furrowed as this occurred, as well. Celmaru's Ki Setting began to slip as his ire began to release his true power. There was a surge of Ki within the hybrid, as if the Super Saiyan form was struggling to break free. Silence followed as the hybrid finished, the veins atop his temples bulging immensely.
"..."
Celmaru's eyelids sank as his brows relaxed.
"..."
"I'll be finishing my attempts now."
Within his entire "argument", Celmaru stared at the hologram, indirectly speaking to Katsu. The hybrid would continue, as he stated, to strike the hologram where the Nervous System rested. The final inquiry, however, was left unanswered. Phae, in the meantime, sighed as she concluded her bottle of water; finding nothing to say over the discussion of Walker's actions.
Ki Setting lessened! PL is currently 44,500!

Katsu knew he had run into a brick wall in this conversation topic. Celmaru has just too much anger invested into his opinion of Reikiko and viewed Walker too highly for any of Katsu's words to change his mind on the situation. There was no point in trying to continue to convince Celmaru of the truth of the matter, and so Katsu moved away from the topic, giving one last, “It's fine if you don't believe my estimates, but I think perhaps you should speak to Walker on the matter before you judge Reikiko too harshly. At the very least you'll learn the truth of the matter, whether I'm right or wrong.”
“Also, I'd ask you not to call Reikiko, or anyone for that matter, worthless. Everyone and everything has a purpose and a use in this universe, and Reikiko in particular is the culmination of a great deal of effort by a number of people.” Katsu at this point adjusted the hologram once more, finally showing Celmaruthe data of all those strikes he had given the mock person he had been attempting to stun with the technique.
The first two strikes that Celmaru had performed against the dummy showed up first, showing an overabundance of energy being placed into the target's brain, which would have killed most species if they couldn't guard against it with Ki.
The next dozen strikes that Celmaru had used were simply lethal strikes against key veins and arteries in the body. Although the physical force wasn't enough to damage them, the way the kinetic momentum of Celmaru's strikes had forced the electricity to penetrate deeply into the target's body in those areas, causing the blood vessels to contract and expand rapidly, essentially tearing themselves apart. Another kill against someone who couldn't guard against it with Ki.
Finally, the burst from Celmaru's emotional outburst increasing his Ki output had shown that Celmaru had simply electrocuted the target to death. Katsu looked over the data, “Hrm... I was afraid of this. You're thinking of this technique as a fighting technique. Something to get an edge over an opponent in combat, rather than a way to end the fight peacefully. You're caught up in the fighter mentality...you're using physical strikes to try and force the energy into the target rather than merely channeling the energy with Ki control. If you noticed when I originally used the technique on Phrigi I didn't go for a strike but merely contact with him. I want you to try and focus on the same...it's like a soft skill. Finesse over Force.”
Tapping his chin Katsu made some adjustments to the hologram once more. This time however no additional anatomy was, but instead the hologram became distinctly female, and Katsu didn't stop there. He continued to tap away at the keyboard of the datapad, and the image continued to shift piece by piece, looking more and more like... Phae. Yes, Katsu was making the hologram appear like Phae, and when he was done it was a near perfect likeness. “Perhaps this will help you get the right mentality. Your target is not an enemy but an ally, one you absolutely don't want to harm. Now, try again...and remember. Gentle.”
