Boarding her ship, The Pink Lady, the child took a moment to take in the hot pink paint job on the round, ‘basic’ pod, tracing the black detailing with her eyes. There really was nothing ‘simple’ about the ship, its exterior so much less than the interior and her father always taught her it was what was inside that counted. Kay-El Coliflo found that to be especially true in regards to two things: people and ships. And Lady was no different. Even if she didn’t have the super awesome paint job, the upgraded engine, extra seats and super cool secret drive only made her love the ship more. Oh, she’d have loved it just for being hers, but it was extra special because it reminded her of the work her adoptive father used to do back on Shikk as a hobby messing with ships or repairing and restoring them for friends and family.
Interestingly enough, her scouter picked up a familiar signature but she hadn’t had time to pursue it yet. Sanguinis, the strange, red-haired human from Earth that day in the woods. Perhaps he was no stranger than she, really, so she didn’t really question it or judge him too harshly. Having learned a long time ago that most people were more than surface deep, she preferred getting to know them before making any judgements.
Concentrating, she sent out a message to Sangu Hey, it’s Kay, what are you doing all the way out on Namek? I’m about to leave, myself, if you wanted to catch up or share a ride let me know where you want to go.... She really hadn’t decided on a destination just yet.
