Thread PL: 108,906 | Ki Suppressed to 1 -- After her rather strange meeting with Mimikku’s daughter, Kay-El Coliflo felt torn. For starters, she’d promised Little Green and herself that she’d head back to Namek, but being on Earth made her wish to seek out the friends she once made there. Alas, she had places to go and things to do. It couldn’t hurt to just sit there a while and take in the view before leaving, right? Right. Reaching up, she took out the two white bows from her hair and let the unruly, curly mass down, missing Nana and the way the woman always brushed it out gently for her. Now she had to do it all herself and maybe she didn’t want to wear it in her typical braid today. But not being able to think of any other way she’d prefer, she went through the motions of brushing and braiding and tying it back with the two bows. One at the top, one at the bottom, same as always. -- meh starter, sorry Kaito

"Hiiiyaaaaaah!"
The fists of both warriors clashed with each other, generating gigantic power waves which affected the whole area they were fighting on. The soil was raised up and trees fell down lifeless. Yet again, the tiger's teal eyes did not fret, even though Kaito was at a much higher power level at him. Amazed at the tiger's resolve, Kaito retreated, allowing the tiger zoan to scream in agony.
Maintaining a static posture, Kaito watched as the tiger suffered. Even though this was the fifth time, the tiger kept on challenging the human in another collision. But Kaito wasn't going to make his life harder anymore. Beating up someone weaker than you five times was ridiculous, but Kaito was doing this for the sake of training this tiger. How'd Kaito meet this new character, you ask? The story backpedals a little bit.
Few hours ago.
Before setting off from Beryl's spaceship, Kaito waved goodbye to some of his Galactic Patrol friends which were present around at that time. He was going to be gone for a few days and he had already asked for permission from the higher-ups, so Kaito was actually relieved to know that he won't be doing chores for a little while. Nevertheless, in the place he was going to, he would still do the duty of a patrolman, this of course unrelated to the Galactic Patrol's actual plans. Kaito's destination was the Southern Islands, the continent where his own hometown resided. From time to time, Kaito goes there to inspect and maybe halt any ill-mannered influence being kneaded up, in order to maintain the peace. He was going to visit the most acclaimed and popular places, as the wicked energies liked to cause trouble in those areas. Making sure everything was ready, Kaito set off in a full throttle towards the south.
The human was vested in his usual. Orange dogi and a black under cloth were one of his favorite pieces to wear. He also made sure to bring his golden sparring gloves with him, as he was pretty positive he was going to engage in fierce fights. Kaito also sported a yellow tight belt around his waist and as well as light blue boots. On top of them all, Kaito also flaunted his white snowy aura as he traveled at great speeds across the lands.
Kaito eventually slowed down as he had entered the southern islands. His brown hues carefully scanning each locality at great precision in order to secure that nothing abnormal was going around. After traveling back and forth and making sure that nothing seemed to be out of ordinary, Kaito decided to take a rest by landing in the lovely region of Mt.Pazou. Generally filled with cliffs and mountains of all sizes, Mt.Pazou was also home to a great variety of wildlife, such as dinosaurs and other bizarre creatures. The forest Kaito landed in had a fine and thin stream of cold and flushing water, which came from the mountains. What was better than the purely natural products in this world? Kaito curled his lips and put his palms together while bending them a little bit and splashed them down the restless stream. He brought his palms up again, now filled with crystal clear H2O and sipped on it. An amused expression immediately escaped Kaito's features as he closed his eyes in order to have a full taste of the water.
This is bliss...
Unfortunately, Kaito didn't get to enjoy his moments for too long. Behind the shade of the forest, some footsteps were heard. Even though they were silent, nothing could escape the human's senses. Standing up, Kaito decided to find out about this mysterious presence. He didn't have to do that much, though, as the newcomer decided to show up himself. What was standing in front of Kaito was a humanoid tiger creature. The human's eyes shot wide as he witnessed such greatness. Being able to talk with individuals of your favorite animal race was with no fear one of the best things to happen to you. But the reason as to why the tiger zoan came to Kaito was unknown.
The tiger zoan was a serious looking character with teal eyes and a necklace around his furry neck. He exposed his ripped body and as well as sported simple brown pants.
"My name is Tora."
Tora introduced himself to Kaito without any problem. He was very straight forward when it came to these things. Tora's eyes were filled with a daring tone while he flickered them around. "Please take me under your guidance!"
Kaito's jaw dropped down, and he knew he couldn't say no. A tiger zoan... Am I dreaming? Kaito tried to snap himself out of his "dream", only to realize he wasn't actually in one. The tiger zoan was really real. Kaito genuinely smiled and nodded, as he remembered why tigers were his favorite creatures.
Kaito's connection with tigers was spiritual.
But if the human was asked as to what he liked about these fantastic creatures, he'd most likely mention these features. The amber eyes of the tiger are always glowing and their muscles ripple when they walk. The deadly swing of their tail moments before they leap to you can be quite intimidating. You would most likely encounter this situation if you were in a jungle; you'd not be able to sense them coming. They are silent as a ghost and although their paws are as big as saucers, they cannot be heard. Their fur is a flame-and-coal mix which completely blends with the trees, rendering them invisible. The majestic and fearless roar was the cherry on the cake.
Even though the human was occupied with his patrolling duties, he'd find the time to spend with tigers almost every day. This was a routine that Kaito had it impossible to remove from his schedule, it was like a nicotine addiction. Of course, just like the tigers back in his village, he'd tame practically any tiger across the globe. They'd come in flocks only to meet the human, and to be honest, they forget their nature every time they were around Kaito. Just like a kitten they'd bounce up and down with fiery but innocent eyes. That way they expect a welcoming pat from the human, and that would open the road for them to freely jump over the human and lick him.
And to be honest, this tiger zoan knocking in the human's life was one of the best things to happen to Kaito yet. Tora kept waiting patiently for Kaito's answer, grasping every face expression the human made to know the human better. Before Kaito got the chance to actually say anything, Tora continued. "Please pardon my rudeness! I forgot to actually say a bit about myself before asking you such thing. Having said the name, I guess I should tell you about my past. I come from a very rare tiger Zoanthrope tribe. I am the son of the strongest tiger warrior in there, and since I was an infant I began to love martial arts. As I grew older, I quickly became adept of flexibility and climbed up the ranks in terms of strength. However, I realized that I couldn't get any stronger if I stayed with my people. That's why I decided to explore the rest of the world." Tora paused for a moment to catch a breath before he continued again. "I was earlier traveling these lands when I spotted an amazing power level, that is yours. I'm not going to lie, my legs trembled in fear, but I collected up my courage to actually say hello to you and ask such a far-fetched request..."
Kaito quickly came in. "No, it's fine, Tora. I will take you under my wings. My name is Kaito Zen! But first, though, I'd need to test your powers..."
And so, the fierce battle between the human and the zoan began.
Present time
Tora spilled blood but you couldn't defeat his proud stare. The tiger clenched his fist yet once again, but the human Kaito beckoned him to halt his movement. Tora instantly froze on the spot and eventually dropped to his knees, panting heavily. The tiger had indeed sustained a lot of damage. "Tora, you passed the test since the first clash, but I wanted to see your durability, and boy do you excel at that!" Tora tried to smile but his body was hurting all over so he let out a scream. The human immediately rushed in his help and shared some of his Ki to heal the tiger's injures.
"Arigato-yo, Kaito-san..."
Tora muttered before he fell asleep. That left Kaito with a blank stare and was actually a little annoyed that he had to carry his heavy body around for some hours now. The human placed the tiger on top of his shoulders and slowly floated in the air, in search of a convenient spot to land and let the tiger rest completely.

As time went on she thought about her best friend, Core Stold, and wished she had more time here today. Besides, every time she tried to reach out to him or Samba with her mind they were busy. Maybe they were off on some mission for the Galactic Patrol, or perhaps training or sleeping or any myriad of other possibilities that were each as likely as the last.
Pulling out her scouter she sent a quick message to Nana to keep her updated. This trip might take a while, she thought, and would definitely be longer than the last. While for her initial ‘space road trip’ she promised her caretaker she’d check in at least once a week, she’d done so much lately that after that first check in )that she barely made) she knew it was only a matter of time before she’d have to head off to Namek more or less indefinitely. After some of the details got hammered out she’d go back to Vegeta and get Nana, or, if Pin came, Nana would probably be on The Pixie Blue with him.
Nana, I’m alright - alive and well and on Earth. Not for long, though, I’ll be off to Namek soon enough to help Enzyme sort through things a bit more.
It wasn’t long before a reply came through. I’m so proud of you, Birdie, I think what you’re doing is good and brave.
Tears stung in her eyes just a little and here, now, with no one watching, she let them fall. There weren’t many, she knew they’d see each other again soon, but reading Nana’s words made her miss her guardian. If she thought about it she could hear those very words in Nana’s voice inside her head, picturing the Saiyan’s often sweet face as she said them.
From behind her a kitten brushed against her back and then came around to the side, looking up at Kay-El curiously before living up to his name with a pounce to settle in the hybrid’s lap. Rearing on his hind legs, Pounce’s fore legs settled on her chest and he licked at her chin where a teardrop threatened to fall from. The wet, scratchy kiss caught her off guard and she giggled, the sound ringing loudly, cheerfully, echoing in the mountains. It was a joyous sound often uttered by the pure of heart, childish and merry carefree all at the same time.
I miss you, she wrote quickly.
We’ll see each other soon, Nana wrote back and Kay-El set the contraption aside.
The red techno monocle device didn’t always work like it should and that happened when it glitched out before she ever even got a chance to use it. Having bought the thing she barely used it for menial tasks before making the mistake of bringing it with her, forgetting she had it and keeping it in her bag, to the fight with Queen Zucceta in Koregutsu Square. There, she’d had the fight of a lifetime, truly an event to remember even if it had gotten interrupted - or maybe even more so because of the strange interruption by some pop idol and a strange, white haired being someone else named ‘Bing.’ She wondered if there was any connection to the Bing her teacher once mentioned, and had intended to ask Mimikku earlier, but when Mimikku was nowhere to be found and her daughter remained instead, Kay decided against randomly spilling information or asking strange questions Aina might not know the answers to to begin with.
No, keeping her mouth shut felt like the safest option, especially considering she didn’t want to accidentally give anything away of the Queen’s or SSE’s in general. Even if she didn’t know what it meant, it didn’t mean someone else didn’t and that could spell big trouble if information fell into the wrong hands. Kay-El didn’t want trouble, at least not that kind. Wiping her face on her sleeve Kay got up and decided to explore a bit, after all. Heading down to the river she smiled a she saw the familiar set of rocks leading across the fast-moving torrent of rushing water. Mimikku had given her five attempts to get across without swimming or flying, and she’d managed it, but just barely. That sense of pride rushed back to her now and she toed off her shoes, the webbing between her feet meeting the grass, rocks and sticks sprawled across the mix of wet, brown dirt, mud and sticks. With one hand in front of her she formed a ball of Ki for practice and took a running start, heading for the rocks just like she had that day that felt so long ago it must have been years. But, no, only a little more than a month ago had she stood triumphantly on the other side of the river with Mimikku before continuing their journey forward.
Her heels and toes dug into the wet ground, feeling it coat her skin, she smiled. Dainty, elongated canines commonly called ‘fangs’ glinted in the sunlight as the girl pushed off her back foot and leapt towards the first rock. The Ki from her hand rocketed out behind her, propelling her forward as she leaped for the next stab of gray against the rush of white and blue below. And then her other hand came forward to use another blast of Ki to dry the rock, toes barely landing before pushing off once more until she’d gone all the way across. While she could make it across now in one try, she remembered what it was like to fall in and have that river try to sweep her away. If she hadn’t been such a good swimmer, she’d have wound up downstream several times over for sure.
Although it was only a little more than a month, the girl had grown so much since then both because of Mimikku and other reasons, of course. She’d come to measure her life in parts. If someone asked her now where the difference between her past and future came from, she’d say before Pin and after Pin. Knowing her brother, traveling with him, really changed her life for what she considered the better. It was always better to find and have family than to not, right, at least if they treated you right…? If they didn’t, well, they weren’t really family, were they?
Food for thought for another time, perhaps. Or maybe now, while she had some peace and quiet and time to think, perhaps it might be best to sort through those things while she could. Then again, all the things she’d sorted into the part of the brain currently titled ‘saved for later’ felt really full these days and if she opened that box she might not be able to shut it again. Heading back over she jumped again towards the first rock and took a seat, letting the rushing waters wash her feet clean of the dirt and grime she’d collected on the shore. Sitting there like that made her homesick for Shikk, just a little, but those pangs often passed as quickly as they came, even if they were rare as fuck.
She giggled lightly at the thought, at the bad word she never actually spoke out loud. Nana would say she spent too much time around Pin but that had that argument in private once and Kay-El had won. Having argued that she was old enough to know the difference by now, Nana’s consistent and constant worrying about her ‘language’ was pointless since she already knew most of the words, anyway, even if she didn’t have as much exposure to them until she hung around with people older than herself (like Pin) on a more continuous level. Pounce meowed over at her from his stance still on the other side of the river. If he wouldn’t have hated it over here on the rocks with her, she’d have brought him with her. Instead, she let him roam about of his own volition and do his business in the woods. A dead bird lay at his feet and she grinned, glad he could hunt for himself, it was the first time she ever saw him do it. Having found him as a stowaway on the very pod she and Nana used to escape Shikk the first time, their journey together had been a shared one so far and girl and pet had more than a few shared personality traits.
They proved good companions for each other, too, and Nana believed Pounce helped teach the child more about responsibility. No, not the responsibilities of war or fighting or any of the normal ‘Saiyan’ responsibilities she’d had drilled into her since she could function, but the ones about caring for others and being held responsible for a life not her own.
Suddenly her eyes opened wide as she remembered her scouter sitting in the clearing she’d found earlier and she frowned. Taking up and off into the air, she swooped down to pick up Pounce and her shoes before zipping back over and hoping some person or animal hadn’t gotten to the piece of technology first. As she settled back down she let out a breath she hadn’t realized she’d been holding at seeing the red scouter and bent to pick it up, slipping it into her pocket. And then it began to beep and she pulled it back out, slipping it on over her left eye and looking up at the sky above.
Was that...what was she even seeing? It looked like some human in a uniform carrying, wait, what? He was carrying a Tiger Zoanthrope who looked like he’d seen better days. Bleeding from the mouth, among other places, the Tiger looked worse for wear and Kay-El’s dark eyes narrowed dangerously. All three feet and forty pounds of her shook, trembling with rage, as she thought of Samba and what she’d do if she found out something like this ever happened to her friend and blue-green wings separated from her back once more as she took to the air. Her whole body glowed briefly as she let go her Ki Suppression and channeled it so she’d seem a greater threat than before, a feat she’d never accomplished before. Her only thought was to scare this weird, strange human into doing what she wanted hopefully without even a fight.
Translucent, small, pearlescent scales covered her whole buddy and glittered in the sunlight as her Ki expanded around her small frame.
Demonic Heritage triggered, PL set to 1,197,966 Apparent PL due to Ki Intimidation: 1,796.949.
Her aura coated her like dark and murky water, greens and blues from depths of the ocean yet unexplored, as if peering at her through a window showing the darkest parts of those untested and uncharted waters. A small, stern frown turned the corners of her lips down in an almost snarl, fangs just visible between slightly parted lips and her deep, dark eyes that matched the midnight blue color of her hair and tail bore into this light-haired stranger as if trying to peer into his soul. Using her mind, she reached out to him and said Poaching Zoans is illegal, put the Tiger down! And with that she began charging her Ki, channeling it through her voice as she sung softly, freestyle, to show she meant business. No one hurt innocent people and got away with it, not on her watch. The air currents were faintly clashing against the human's flesh, as he grimaced at realizing his shoulders were already numb. He had been slowly floating for a while whilst searching for a convenient place to put Tora down, and he was hoping he'd find that place quickly because the sheer weight of the tiger Zoan was tiring the human out. "Why are you so heavy...?" Kaito made a rhetorical question, knowing that Tora was unavailable to answer. The tiger was deeply engaged in his slumber and he made some sub-conscious growls, but you could see a form of satisfaction in his face. Regardless, Kaito didn't want to complain. He felt blessed to have met this individual and knowing that he will be there assisting him in every task Kaito was given, made the human happy. Only thinking of the following adventures with Tora made Kaito's heart race fast. But, this happy state of the human didn't last for so long. Whilst his brown hues moving rapidly and seeing downwards, Kaito felt an extremely bad vibe suddenly coming to life. He instantly froze on the spot as soon as the power level became even more enormous, rendering the human actually fearful to move the slightest muscle. Kaito, now a static figure afloat, didn't know what was happening. He knew that someone way stronger than him was out there, for sure. For this reason, Kaito was being paranoid whether this "bad guy" was coming for him. And that belief was unfortunately confirmed. Kaito's features suddenly dropped to the trap of fear as he heard a voice saying a line. Poaching Zoans is illegal, put the Tiger down! Were they talking about Tora? And what did they mean by "poaching"? It seemed like they had completely misunderstood the situation, but Kaito didn't dare to defy them. The human quickly descended to the ground and gently put his partner down, as instructed. However, the human was infuriated. Who did they think they were? Maybe someone Tora knew and they wanted him back? Kaito tapped on his hidden reserve of power and increased his power threefold. Yes, even though he was greatly outclassed, the human was kneading up a will to argue with this newcomer by any means, even if it involved fists. Shortly afterward, a small figure came into sight. Surrounded by a translucent aura, the appearance of them was rather bizarre. By the looks of it, they were of the female gender. She was extremely short and she resembled a kid, even though her facial features didn't indicate she was an Earthling. Her curly, midnight blue hair fell over her black hues and her pointy ears only were there to strengthen Kaito's suspicion. All in all, her power easily outweighed her weird appearance, and Kaito immediately realized that she was no ordinary fighter. The human couldn't help but stay on his guard. The golden sparring gloves glittered under the sun's light as Kaito directed his hands forward and bent his knees a little bit. Securing Tora was still lying down and asleep a meter behind him, the gi-toted warrior articulated some words and tried not to get on her bad side at all. "Whoever you are, you got it all wrong. This tiger is actually my newest friend!"Oversoul (x3) active | New thread PL => 235803.Kay-El

A little surprised when Kaito just did as she demanded, descending towards the ground and setting the tiger down, Kay-El didn’t let her guard down, just in case. The false power level left, though, revealing her true power which still far outweighed that of the human fighter below as she flew towards the ground as well. She remained in her transformed state, just in case, wanting to keep this stranger scared of her - and he was scared, she could tell. Good, she’d wanted him scared, right? Kay-El Blinked down at him, using her inner set of eyelids, the clear, thins ones so she’d never actually lose sight of him. Having been told that effect was a bit spooky or creepy in the past, she hoped it served the same purpose now, if he even saw it. It would either look like what it was, which was admittedly hard to see, or it would seem like the five year old never blinked at all. Her wings beat the air around her and slowed as she more or less hovered now, watching and listening as he spoke and seemed to grow in power, himself. She still outclassed him by leagues, but at least he didn’t seem to be abandoning his new ‘friend,’ either. Once she heard of humans that hunted Zoans for, well, she wasn’t sure why. Maybe they believed Zoanthropes to be lesser creatures, or they wanted the fur or meat or whatever, but no matter what they were sitll people who deserved respect from others. Projecting? Who, her? Naw, surely not… Letting out the breath she hadn’t realized she was holding, she released the charge, letting the energy dissipate and go back into her. She could always get it back later if she needed to. “ I’m glad to hear it,” she said simply, and then she noticed the Galactic Patrol badge and wondered if he knew Samba, Core, Alex, Jax or Arynx. The former were both members and the other three aspired to be members, and all five were her friends. At least the tiger wasn’t a criminal and she hadn’t messed up some arrest or anything else. That made her feel a little better about the misunderstanding. “ What happened to your friend?” she asked curiously, not trying to be mean or nosey or accusatory, just as curious as, well, a cat tended to be. Her and her pet kitten, Pounce, shared more than just that one personality trait. -- Ki Intimidation over, apparent and effective pl: 1,197,966 KP: 1/3 | +1 KP for no tech use Kaito

A casual wind flew across the Mt.Pazou region which flowed through the human's golden locks. His eyes were pinned above, glancing at the what seemed to be a child-like figure floating. Apparently, she was the one who had told Kaito to stop what he was doing. Due to her power being far greater than his, Kaito was forced to do so. Nevertheless, he still tried to give her a challenge by powering up a little bit. Before Kay could speak, Kaito pondered about her origin. He had never seen a character like her, and she had a lot of distinct features and characteristics. Granted, she was a foreigner, but what was her business on Earth, moreover in this area? Judging by the vibes her Ki gave off to Kaito, it had a few resemblances to the demons he fought earlier on Beryl's spaceship's gravity chamber. Kay's appearance had some similarities with those negative creatures, but as soon as she stopped fueling her Ki with more power, things started to get normal again. Kaito noted that a fair portion of her prior power was deducted like it wasn't originally part of it, to begin with. The only thing Kaito was hoping at this moment was that the hybrid wouldn't try to wipe him, Tora and the entire Mt.Pazou out. He knew very well he couldn't go fight on par with her, but he'd still be glad to die trying, anyway. His Galactic Patrol friends would surely try to avenge him and respect him for what he did. Kaito couldn't help but smile. Not trying to get too lost in his thoughts, Kaito was snapped back to reality by Kay's words. She proclaimed that she was glad to hear that Kaito bore no ill intention towards the Tiger zoan, and as well as wondered about what happened to him. Her voice didn't seem threatening, quite the contrary actually. Even if it seemed that she was somewhat forcing it, she was speaking with a quite soft and sweet voice, her curiosity clearly showing on her facial features, just like a kid's. Startled at this unexpected development, Kaito widened his eyes in confusion; his innocent stare only getting more vivid. Kaito gave a look yet once again to Tora, who seemed like he was enjoying his rest to the fullest. Turning his attention to what was in front of him again, Kaito opened his mouth to communicate with Kay. "Oh, nothing much, to be honest. I actually just met this grown wild cat a few hours ago and wanted me to take him under my guidance. I simply requested him to spar with me. Well, I obviously am not a sadistic asshole to enjoy and beat an animal or even a person like that, however..." Kaito paused and looked to Tora while laughing lightly. "... His fiery eyes did not really want to give up. He kept going after so many rounds and well, if I hadn't defended myself properly, I would be in the same state as he is right now."Wondering whether he spoke too much, Kaito waited for some moments to give the hybrid some time to comprehend and why not let her ask some questions out of confusion. He continued, however. "You have sparked my interest greatly. If you don't mind, would you care to tell me where you come from? Or rather, what are you, exactly? Sorry if that came off as rude, but yeah." Kaito said with a static voice, his face as serious as ever. Tora subconsciously leaned over his side while still wheezing. He twitched some parts of his body, but he wasn't willing to abandon his comfortable slumber, yet. Kay-El
