[234,817] Etoru stood atop a hill beside Mt. Paozu. The wind blew by his hair. The wind whistled by and the birds sung. It was morning and bright out. He had a whole day of training ahead of him. He was going to defeat Zucceta no matter what the cost! Jumping down the hill, the wind blew his hair back and rustled his clothes. Before he hit the ground however, he began to fly, a foot off the ground. He fired two Ki blasts. He raced them, attempting to get in front. Letting out an outburst of his white aura, he soared in front and slapped the two blasts aside. One collided into a mountain, exploding, which caused rubble to fall down and crash against the ground. Animals all over, deer, birds, squirrels, racoons, etc. They all ran away from the crash site. The other blast however, exploded before it reached any object. Using his multi-form technique, he summoned to clones. Etoru glared at the clones angrily. They charged at him and Etoru began blocking the hits as best as he could. Etoru got punched in the face countless amounts of times. The child began kicking and punching back. Throwing a hook at one of his clones, he tried to hit its nose. However, this came to no avail as the first Etoru clone caught his hand. Grinning, Etoru 1 kneed his gut while Etoru 2 blasted a ki wave at his face. Etoru was sent skidding against the grass on his back. Instantly, he jumped back up. He let out an enraged roar as he practically vanished from view. He reappeared in front of one clone and punched his throat. Etoru 1 coughed and was sent flying against a tree. The tree broke and fell onto him. Etoru 2 and Etoru got into a clash. Fist against fist, kick against kick, they all continuously collided with each other. Etoru was too focused on Etoru 2, that Etoru 1 managed to slip free. He was already behind Etoru, sending a paralyzing punch in the back. Etoru 2 punched his gut before following up with an uppercut. They pushed him towards a tree, his back hitting against it. Etoru 1 and 2 kept throwing their fists at his face, messing it up as if it were mash potatoes. They repeatedly punched and kneed his gut before following up with a hit to the temple. Etoru breathed heavily. Etoru 1 and 2 grinned before they both, simultaneously, threw a punch at his nose at the same time. Etoru was launched back, breaking the tree and falling on his back. The child whimpered in pain. His two clones, who had the same determination as the original Etoru, didn't disappear. Etoru didn't order them too. He had to be pushed to his limits! Even if it was in a situation like this. Blood trickled down his forehead, nose, and nose. His cheek was cut and his eye was swollen. They picked him up from his shirt and threw him across the grass. Etoru yelped in pain before he came down crashing against the grass. He rolled before he came to a stop, his hand in a small pond. Etoru fell unconscious, leaving his two clones to disappear. He was bruised and beaten all over. He really knew how to push himself over his limits at times like these huh? --- Caesi

Most of the time, Caesi hated that she was what she was. An unwilling creation, made by a man obsessed with bringing back what he had lost. Of course, with no way to reverse it, she had needed to begrudgingly accept that she was stuck being partly machine. Yet, at times, she couldn't help but admit that there were perks to it. For one, she had been able to cut her palms open with so little pain that she was able to deftly graft the electromagnets she had taken from the lair she had visited with Etoru. Over the past week, she had slowly, but surely modified the way the electromagnet worked, stripping the weaker metals, and replacing them with Ki-Sensitive ones, allowing her to charge the magnets like batteries. She had tested them several times, and when both were filled and brought together, there was a powerful electric discharge. Of course, tests only went so far. That was what had led to this, slicing her own hands open, and grafting the electromagnets to the metal bones of her palms. All it would take now was focusing Ki into her hands, and they would take some of the charge. After the first magnet was added, she sealed her skin again, gritting her teeth as she burned the skin shut, repeating the entire process with her second hand. For as much as she cared for her son, Etoru..Caesi was always one to become absorbed by her work. She had lost weeks to this process.
Weeks in which she hadn't noticed that Etoru had not been coming back to the lookout. That was not what was on her mind yet though. She took a deep breath, exhaling slowly as she poured her Ki into her hands, her super sensitive hearing picking up the muffled, muted whirring of the magnets, which were absorbing the Ki sent to them. She wrenched her eyes shut tightly...and brought her hands together. With a loud, ear-splitting CRACK, the built up ki was discharged in the form of a bolt of white lightning, flashing across the sky for mere moments. She slowly beamed. "Well, that was quite the success! Etoru, come here! I want to show you something!" She yelled loudly, her words echoing in silence. Her brow furrowed. That was unlike him. Usually he responded immediately when she said something. One more time, maybe he just didn't hear. Etoru? A bit louder this time, her mind opening, probing for his Ki, and quickly finding it. It was distant though...very distant. And..coming from the south? Oh no. She quickly ran to the nearest edge of the lookout, diving headfirst off of the thing, the propulsors in her heels quickly activating, rocketing the young android towards the south, her Ki sensing acting like a homing beacon for her son, his signature quickly fading.
She landed at the edge of the clearing mere moments before Etoru fell unconscious, shaking her head and sighing as she stepped into the clearing itself, picking her son up and huffing. "You'd better hope your out for a long time hun..cause if you wake up soon, your gonna be getting an earful for running off like that.." She mumbled as she hugged her unconscious son before setting him down, pulling a capsule out of her pocket, slowly beginning to apply bandages to the few cuts he had, a small burn mark being on his side, which she treated with an icewater dousing, then a burn cream smeared bandage. The whole process took a short time, after which she simply sat, legs crossed in front of him, tapping her left knee as she waited for her son to wake up. They had a lot to talk about. She had no idea how long she'd been working. Not needing food anymore tended to make her get more fully absorbed in her work after all.

Etoru lied unconscious on the ground. He twitched from the pain running through him in his sleep. That was when Caesi, his mother, came along. She seemed to be stressed out and in a way it seemed as if she was scolding him even though he was out cold. She picked him up and Etoru's eyes barely opened. He saw a blurry image...of someone...she gave him a hug before he went out cold again. She set the boy down, and with that, she reached down for her capsules only to pull out medical supplies. Drawing out some bandages, she patched up his cuts, but the burn mark required some medicine and burn cream which was easily fixed. Woo! Mom perks!
After about 20 minutes of Etoru lying there, his determination of training tried to keep him going. His body was worn down, but his spirit was still strong! Slowly opening his eyes, he tried to push himself up. Normally, no matter how beaten down he was, he would of just hopped right to his feet. But man did he over do it! Before he even had the chance to lift himself, he saw...Caesi. Not having the energy to keep himself steady bby pushing up, he fell back, lying his back on the tree. In a weak voice, he questioned. "...M-Mom...?" He looked at her blankly and confused before averting his eyes to the floor. "I could of handled that problem myself you know..." The child mumbled, loud enough for her to hear. Despite his usual childish stubbornness, something was off about Etoru. For the first few moments there was a bit of 'spark' in his voice...but then he just stared at her with a lifeless expression. His tone was no different. "...Mommy, what are you...doing here anyways..."

"I could of handled that problem myself you know..."
The moment he finished saying that sentence, Etoru would feel a light bop to the head from his mother's left hand. She wasn't trying to hurt him, but it was clear that she didn't take kindly to her son thinking he had to do everything alone. "No you couldn't have, and you know it Etoru. I dont know how long you've been out here, or what happened that made you leave the lookout. But, you could have at least said something. That's why I'm here. I finally finished what I had been working on for..how long has it been? Well, whatever length of time. I tested it earlier, and you weren't there. No note, no message, nothing. You were just gone. Not only were you gone, but you were halfway across the planet. Obviously, you've been training. You know I don't mind that. But you know the rule..if your going to go somewhere..your supposed to tell me...I know it might not seem like it..but I do worry about you Etoru.." She said softly as she noticed a scrape that had escaped her basic treatment, grabbing the peroxide and a bandage, she opened the solution up and took Etoru's arm in one hand, slowly pouring it onto the wound, disinfecting it as she wrapped it with a bandage. I won't pretend to know why your here, or what your training for. I only just woke up, and we haven't exactly been connected to the news up here. So, how about you tell me what's going on? She asked curtly, a bit of her natural scariness creeping into her tone.
For all of the lack of attention she gave over the past few weeks, mostly focusing on what she needed to do to give herself a bit more variation in her combat, something she designed to help protect Etoru, should he need it, she actually had been quite worried when she finally noticed he had left. The medical capsules were more something she kept on her person for quick fixes should she or anyone around her need them. Luckily for him, he hadn't needed anything major, nor did he need anything beyond what she could treat. For now however, she just wanted to know why he had run off.

Etoru received a light bonk on his head. "O-Owie..." He mumbled as he rubbed his head. He frowned at Caesi, not really enjoying being scolded. He got enough of that from Maeve for Pete's sake! Still, it wasn't like she had an off button or whatever. And even if she didn't, he couldn't just tell her to shut up, or she'd bonk him for real! Pouting, he listened to her. His lifeless eyes stared at Caesi as she continued scolding him. "You would of stopped me anyways..." Etoru mumbled. It wasn't like he could just tell him mom 'oh hey mom, yeah I'm gonna stop coming to the lookout, the place we live, kay bye now.' She would of kept asking questions or limiting his free time to train and do important stuff! And he couldn't afford to lose that valuable time!
When she mentioned the 'rules' Etoru huffed. This is what he meant. But what she said next made him look at her blankly. 'I know it might not seem like it..but I do worry about you Etoru..' Etoru stared at her with big blank eyes. That was before she gently grabbed his tiny arm and grabbing medical supplies. "W-Wai---Eek!" Etoru grit his teeth and winced as the peroxide disinfected his wound. It stung....a lot. Usually, if he ever got this injured, he'd be out cold and healed that way. He didn't know what they did and he certainly didn't feel a thing. But now, he was awake, and he felt it! The pain slowly went away, and Etoru sighed a bit relieved. It was good having someone he can still talk to. Things were really getting to him.
What she said next made Etoru gulp nervously at the creepiness in her voice. "O-Oh...tell y-you...? I um..." Despite the some what humorous and cute moment of a mother making her son anxious, that moment faded away quickly as he thought about everything that happened. She clearly wanted answers, and there was no way of getting out of this one. He stared at the floor a bit depressed. "I...s-see...look, i-it just won't make sense unless I start from the beginning..." Frowning sadly, he began to tell his tale.
"Okay...s-so have you um...heard about the kami of Earth, well...dying?" Etoru gave her a moment to answer. It wasn't unlikely. Of course, pretty much more than half the populace knew about it, of course half the populace who knew what the hell a Kami was."Earth's guardian....my...my uh, master...he didn't think twice of accepting me...I've met people who liked me but...he was the one who truly would stick by my side no matter what..." He smiled weakly. "He's done so much for me and...I didn't do anything for him..." Looking at her with sad, lifeless eyes, he asked her a question. "Do you know how he died...?" Once again, he waited for an answer. "He went to another planet to stop the Queen of Saiyans....Zucceta...from planting some monster tree that sucks the life out of planets...not sure on everything it can do...but he went to stop her and...he died there..." He clenched the grass, finger trails formed. He hung his head as tears started crawling down his cheeks.
Sniffling, he continued on with his story. "Since then...I-I wanted to...get revenge...I swore I'll kill Zucceta..." Looking at her, tears flowing in his eyes, he glared. "A-And nothing or anybody is going to stop me or change that answer, not Ms.Maeve, not Hikari, and not you..." Before she had a chance to talk however, he put one finger up. "T-That isn't all...before Bing died...my friend Walker was absorbed by one of those monster things called...b-bio androids? And...she beat me in combat, but she's...one of Earth's strongest warriors...she defeated the leader of the BBA...Vi-Poi..." The wind whistled by. Etoru readjusted his position on the tree making himself sit more straight. Tears rolled down the child's face. "A-after she absorbed my friend W-Walker...who wanted to be absorbed to h-help her beat the SSE....she explained why...a-a-and even tried to train me....we beca-came close...but after that fi-fight was when I learned....B-Bing died, a-and she was going to m-m-make sure I gained th-the power to avenge Master Bing..."
Gritting his teeth, he whimpered a bit as he trailed off into the story once more. "But...e-even Reikiko...she went to stop the queen...a-a-and even 'she'....fell...she used her special attack, the Kikoho....w-w-which takes the life force of the user and puts it into the attack....and she used a full blown Kikoho.....which was stopped by s-some undetectable energy....a-a-a-and the power it gave off was...I-I dont even know anymore..." Sniffling, he clenched his fists. "B-but you can't stop m-m-me from doing this...m-my whole life...I was alo-alone...it wasn't...y-your fault, no...b-b-but I never really talked t-t-to much people besides U-Uncle Sheenu...but when I s-start making friends...t-they all start just...dying...and I'm just forced to watch....f-feeling helpless...I was...a runt ba-back then....everyone was s-so much stronger or better than me....b-but not now...I-I'll put an end to her evil....j-just you watch..."

When she asked Etoru what was going on, the last thing Caesi had expected was to get such a coherent, sad, and most importantly, lonely story from her son. As he told his story, she checked his body for more injuries, listening intently to him, grimacing as he mentioned death after death. So that was why he had run off. His training was going to be used as a tool for revenge. After a few moments of silence, after which she made doubly sure that she had treated all of his wounds, Caesi sighed softly, a soft clicking noise echoing from within her arms as she cracked her metal knuckles. After a few more moments of silence, she began to speak.
I wont lie and say that I like this plan of yours. I don't. I think its reckless, unplanned, and will probably end badly. But..I can't tell you not to save the universe, or avenge your friends. I might be your mother, but even I know that you'll just go anyway if I forbid it. I won't stop you. However, I do at least expect you to get my attention and tell me when your going places. That way I don't have to fly all the way across the planet to find you. She said, a bit of irritation creeping into her voice with that last line. It really did annoy her how much Etoru liked to run rampant. But, as robotic as she was, she still understood the desire to protect the people you cared about, and failing that, avenge them. She sighed as she packed up her supplies again, and placed them back into a capsule. "Of course, if you think that I'll let you leave the planet on your own, unsupervised, you're going to be highly mistaken. I will let you train as much as you deem necessary, but if I have to chase after you to make sure your not in over your head, I will be severely pissed off." She said simply, looking back at her son with a soft smile. She really did care, as much as she tended to get absorbed in her work.

Staring at his mother in his seated position he stared at her. She has been checking him for any other injuries as he told his story which made him frown. "Mommmmy....I'm fineeee...." He whined. He didn't like being observed like some kind of toy or artifact or whatever. Then she spoke. When she started insulting his idea, he pouted. "Gee...thanks for the support..." He mumbled lowly. He had a stubborn expression on his face. However that soon went away when she said he 'can' go as long as he tells her where he's going all the time. "Y-Yeah of course! No problem!" Etoru's smile brightened widely. This was so awesome! Now Etoru gets to fight without having to worry about 'her' keeping him on Earth! Sweet!
Busy being happy, he almost didn't notice what his mother said next after she packed up her supplies. His eyes went wide. "W-What?! Mommy you just CAN'T come along! It's dangerous!" He frowned at his mother. Just what was she thinking?! The strongest warriors in the galaxy fell to Zucceta, and she wants to tag along! Pfft! Of course HE was going! Because duh, he's Etoru. The most legendary warrior around...! And Caesi was just...Caesi. Etoru frowned and turned his head to the floor away from her crossing his arms. "I don't need you trying to baby me all the time Mommy..." Etoru grumbled, his expression holding a pout.
