(Please note that this thread takes places during the tournament saga but is not part of it)
Hitake wiped the sweat from his brow after finally finishing up a late afternoon training session in the mountains. The light was slowly starting to dim, and the day was nearly over. He had already done twice as much training as the last time he was here, and he felt the burn. Several new mountains had been flattened, and several new craters were formed. He could already tell he had gotten stronger since last time. He knew today would make him that much more closer to becoming a master. Hitake took off from one of the few last remaining mountains and started flying towards home, he was looking forward to a cold shower and a cold drink. His surroundings the least of his worries as the moment. He was sure he would have been attacked by now if someone were here... He was wrong...
A glint caught his eye but not in time for him to be able to dodge. Instead he drew up his arms to take as much force as he could as a large white projectile of energy slammed into him from below. It shot him back several yards and as the smoke cleared it was revealed that he would have singed marks over his arms, lots of missing hairs, his clothes were tattered, and he was breathing a bit harder. He peered down in the direction of the blast to see a very large man on the ground. He had a suit and symbol similar to the guy he fought in the city over a week ago.
"Tch! More annoyances. How many poor people have to come after me before they get the hint that it won't turn out good for them."
Hitake grit his teeth then flew down to meet the new challenger. He wasn't about to turn down such a powerful invitation to combat. His pride or honor would not allow him to do such a thing. The man must pay, and pay dearly. Hitake landed in front of the man and walked up to him. He eyed the man, his hands already making fists ready to go.
"You've got one chance to leave me be."
Energy would start to come fourth from Hitake slowly to show that he was serious. He would give the man a chance to explain himself or introduce himself if he wished, or even to apologize and leave. Instead the man simply jumped back without saying a word and started charging up an energy ball. Hitake matched him, raising his right arm he would charge an equal amount of power and release it the same time the other did. They slammed into each other causing a massive explosion around them. The two simply stood there, cloak and tattered clothes swaying in the created wind storm from the blast. Neither of them in the least bit fazed, neither of them backing down.
Both of them charged at each other at that point. Hitake had a look of extreme determination on his face, he could only imagine what the other was thinking or feeling. He had best take this seriously however, unless he wanted to be crushed like the other guy. The two would collide in mid air causing a large gust of wind from all sides to shoot fourth across the land scape. Both men were strong. The man Hitake faced was physically stronger than the last one. It brought up an excitement in him that made his blood boil with the thought of a real challenge. The larger man would throw 6-8 fast punches with 3 to 4 strong kicks in a flurry of movement. Hitake would block with his legs or hands before returning a set of his own which would also be blocked or dodged by the other man.
The two split apart and charges their energies before both of them went on a ki spamming spree. Hitake matched his timing with his opponents so that their energy met between them causing explosion after deafening explosion that pushed them apart each time further and further. After what seemed like minutes of doing this for god knows why, probably to show off, the light show finally stopped for the time being. As the smoke cleared, Hitake was caught by surprise as his opponent had appeared before him with such speed that a big guy such as him should not have had. Hitake was able to manage a defense in time by bringing up his arms when the man struck with a thunderous punch, throwing him back a good ways.
