It had been an... eventful time recently. Word had reached her about the Caretaker of the Lookout, Walker's demise at the hands of the white covered warrior woman... about how he had been absorbed into her after a fierce battle between the two of them. Whilst she could understand why there would be those who would be distraught at such news, the small child Etoru being one such example, the feminine Namekian could understand Walker's decision to instigate the battle. Apparently this Reikiko was a warrior for this world in her own way, and he had essentially sacrificed his existence in order to improve her chances of stopping a far greater threat, something that the Warrior Caste Namekian could understand completely.
It was almost the same as when two Namekian warriors fused together, with one being the dominant and the other becoming a part of the former. The dominant's power would increase from the inclusion of the submissive, and their knowledge and techniques would become theirs. It was a technique that was only used in times of great strife, and represented an honourable sacrifice on the part of whoever fused into another Namekian.
However, what this meant now though was that the Lookout had nobody protecting it. Whilst the Lookout was tricky to reach, it was not impossible... and there had been no word from Kami since he had left to deal with whatever threat he was facing off-world. Lusca had to get herself stronger, and quickly. She still did not know when Earth's warriors were intending to make their way to Namek to face the Demon Caste, and at this stage she was starting to wonder if they ever would. It had been weeks, if not months since that meeting atop the Lookout, and still no action had been taken by any of them... it was almost as if they could all talk a big game, but when it came to keep their end of the bargain, they fell short of the mark. Lusca wondered if there was even a point now... since Helix...
The feminine Namekian could not accept that, and so had to continue training her body using the weighted clothing as well as continued trips into the area surrounding the Lookout since she couldn't use the Pendulum Room that Kami had talked about, since he was not here to activate the chamber. So instead, she wandered the woods surrounding the Lookout, practicing her martial arts, her bo staff techniques, as well as incorporating them with her natural abilities as a Namekian. She could not afford to fail in her duty as the future Guru's protector. Not again.

The forest always felt like a good place to think, or it had until she’d heard that broadcast, wracking her brain and trying to figure out just how to navigate her way toward the source. Her brother, Pin, made that broadcast, she felt sure of it. As she wandered through the trees, using them to move around faster than she ever could below, she pondered for the eventual finding and meeting with Pin. What would she say? Was she supposed to just blurt out Hi I’m your long lost half sister!? With a sigh, she hung from a tree limb by her tail, and that’s when she heard someone making their way through the forest somewhere below.
She descended limb by limb until the five year old spotted the Namekian making his...her...it was so hard to tell with them, well, making their way through the dense brush below. Slowly, cautiously, she watched and followed for a little while, wondering what the stranger was doing out there all by their lonesome? Granted, Kay was also alone, but she had her reasons and assumed so did the new potential acquaintance. Her kitten, Pounce, meowed from inside her bag and Kay dropped down the rest of the way, landing on her feet in front of the green Alien. “Hi!” she said, smiling and hoping her lack of bad intentions showed through her demeanor. Of all the things to be, naturally aggressive wasn’t one of them and considering she was half Saiyan, that was saying something.
The other half, the Demon half, she didn’t like to talk about that much because it caused so many to distrust her for reasons beyond her control back home on Shikk. She banished the brief thought of home, not wanting to feel that pang of loss and longing she got, that flash of homesickness. She only allowed herself a few minutes of that per day, a few moments of weakness when no one could see because for now, she needed to get stronger, get a job, and find her brother, Pin.
Nana always joked Determination was Kay’s middle name and she was that to a fault along with loyal, sensitive and naive. She looked up hopefully at the Namekian. Standing at only three feet, herself, the child got used to looking up at people a long time ago. “I’m Kay,” she said, offering a hand to shake and hoping the other took it as the gesture of peace that it was.

When the girl suddenly dropped down in front of her, Lusca immediately went into a ready combat stance, keeping her eyes on this person in front of her... who's bag was making cat noises. She raised an eyebrow at the rather small Saiyan in front of her with the mewling bag, who was offering a hand towards her in the human gesture for a handshake... It was a child who had decided to try and ambush her.
Whilst Lusca didn't accept the handshake, she did slowly drop her guard. "And what is a little girl and her cat doing out here in the woods all by themselves?" the feminine Namekian inquired of the little girl, checking their comparative powers and finding that they were about equally matched... was every Saiyan child this powerful, or was it just something about Earth that made them strong?

After healing up in the hospital after the bear incident during an intense training session, Kaimon was fresh faced and ready to go and train as hard as he could. Washing and drying his Gi before donning in once more, and tying his headband tight to his small child-sized head on his child-sized Saiyan body, he headed out into the depths of the woods. Practicing his Ki Sense but only in the nearby area, he tried his absolute best to mark off where the small animals around him were with their small powers. They were really small compared to Kaimon making them hard to track.
Two powers, both stronger than Kaimon. One MUCH, MUCH stronger than the other. Kaimon was curious, excited, on-guard and ready to go all at once. He went from a saunter to a jog, and then from a jog to a run, and then from that run into a full-on sprint as fast as he could. Breaking through the tree line he tripped on a fallen branch and rolled out, hitting his head. "Ouch..." He said as he rubbed his head, pulling himself up and dusting his legs off. Looking up he saw two figures. "Uh, hi."
The two power sources no doubt, one green alien figure that Kaimon identified as a Namekian and the other a small girl with Saiyan qualities to her and a small cat in a bag. The small girl looked excited and happy, like most children would be... and the Namekian looked like it was dropping it's guard slowly and had been caught whilst training. He decided to introduce himself properly rather than just greeting them after rudely stumbling in. "I'm Kaimon."

At first, Kay didn’t know what to expect of this stranger. A bit standoffish, she seemed….but maybe that was because Kay had come from nowhere seemingly to say hi. For all this Namekian knew, Kay wanted to ambush her or whatever, but that thought never even crossed the five-year-old’s mind. When the other didn’t shake hands, she put hers down, thinking how best to answer the question. There was no doubt in her mind that what she said would be the truth, but how much to divulge was the forty six million zeni question of the hour. “I come here to think, sometimes,” she said. “Okay, a lot. Or train...or just get away from the city,” her nose wrinkled as she recalled the very industrial smells. There were other, better, smells in the city but sometimes the hustle and bustle of it all got to be too much for the half Saiyan child from Shikk.
Kay-El wasn’t too proud to admit she jumped when someone literally barrel rolled in, branches cracking and dust flying every which way. Skittish, she took to the air. Normally, she tended toward cautious, careful...friendly, but if someone threatened her or her friends it was game over for that creep. This guy, though, he didn’t look like a creep. The newer stranger, a Saiyan from the looks of him, brushed himself off and uttered some form of greeting. Kay stared at him, getting her bearings once she realized no immediate threat existed, and calmed down a bit. When he introduced himself as ‘Kaimon,’ she smiled, taking a curious step closer.
Pounce, her cat, stuck his black-furred head and paws out of the bag curiously and she took him out, letting him wander. “I’m Kay, and that’s Pounce,” she gestured toward the cat in case anyone was confused. Since the Namekian hadn’t given her name yet, Kay just remained silent about it, figuring if she wanted to, she would.

Just as the little girl was explaining what she was doing here, another child crashed in on them, the sudden appearance causing the feminine Namekian to go back on her guard before she realised it was another child. This one a boy who was apparently called Kaimon. Lusca grumbled, rubbing the bridge of her nose at the situation that had developed here. "Is there a school trip or something going on today in this forest?" she muttered to herself. A part of her wanted to just leave the two of them, on their own, in the forest... with that strange white creature that had been reported recently was still roaming around for all she knew.
Lusca groaned and then sighed. "Lusca. You can call me Lusca. Now, why are there so many children running around this forest?" she asked the pair of them, rather bluntly to be honest, but given that the thing that she'd heard rumours about could still be in the area. Whilst she was almost certain that the reports were just about Reikiko... the Warrior Caste Namekian didn't want to take the chance that there was another creature lurking around here, especially not with children running around the place.
Was this part of her Warrior Caste nature to protect others influencing her decision, or was it this maternal instinct that she'd heard about kicking in? That was something that she'd have to figure out at a later time. Right now however, she had to figure out where all these kids were coming from, and where to get them to safety before something happened to either of them.

Kaimon smiled at Kay, hearing her as she introduced herself and her cat as she let it out of the bag. "Nice to meet you Kay." He said as he took a second look over the two people, to get a bearing of what they were like. The Namekian really looked like she didn't want to be here, at least with people around. He heard the feminine Namekian mutter something to herself quietly, and giggled a little. "No school trip... Well not as far as I know anyway." Kaimon twisted his torso from left to right, bending one arm sideways and placing it over the other as he stretched to his side. "Just getting some training after healing up."
Finally he received a name from the Namekian. Lusca. Kaimon liked that name. He quit stretching and placed his arms behind his head, leaning back a little. "I don't think there are many other children, haha. Just us two." He looked around from left to right, and then back to Lusca. "Probably, anyway." He scratched his head and sat down, picking up a stick and toying around with it. "Really, the question is..."
He looked up and pointed the stick towards her. "What are you doing out running around in the forest, Lusca?" To be honest, Kaimon assumed it was the same reason as he; training and meditation. Seemed like something a Namekian would be doing rather than hanging out in the big cities like most people. After all, the forest was a nice environment to train in. Serene and naturally alluring, filled with fascinating and wonderful things to marvel at. Thinking about it put a teensy weensy smile tweaked to the side of his curious face.

It had been awhile since Jax had gone by any of the forests on his home planet. He had tried his best to keep away from any wood areas, not because he didn't enjoy a bit of nature, but because of the...unfortunate memories that seemed to resurface whenever he was near one. Thanks to the "great training regime" he had in the woods only a few months prior, his body just reacted weirdly to the woods. Whenever he was near them, his mind would start to get a throbbing headache, and his heart started to pound, and his sides started to ache with pain right in the same spots were a few months ago they were stabbed by bamboo. It was, in two words, not great. Luckily for him, however, that it was pretty easy to avoid the forests, for the more part. Sure, it took longer to get to certain areas since he had to outright ignore the various shortcuts forests provided, but since he wasn't planning to train in any wood lands and he had moved his cardboard box house into the city, it was a manageable predicament. At least, it was until today.
Today, Jax had planned a rally in the West Capitol, to promote himself as the best candidate for the role of President of Earth. Sure, the rally was just going to be him shouting at a bunch of random strangers in the local park, but hey, marketing was marketing, and he had to pay for the stand he had gotten set up in the park. However, to get to the rally on time, Jax was going to have to make a shortcut through the Fukorou Forest, which was, as Jax would call it, "a major bummer". Still, the people of Earth needed him and he had to spread his message of hope and change, and if that meant possibly suffering a few moments of unwanted headaches and awkward body pains well then, gosh darn it, he was going to do it.
And so, here he was, flying over the forest, to make his time in there as as short as humanly possible, along with keeping away the sight of trees, animals, or any sort natural beauty that would start an immediate reaction in his body. But in only a few seconds of flight, his body started to ache, trembly to the point where he could barely stay in the air. Holding his stomach, trying not to vomit, Jax attempted to land, the branches of trees hitting him as he got closer to the ground. Trying to be aware of his settings, everything quickly becoming nothing but blurs and vague smears, making out what looked like a few people on the ground below.
"LOOK OUT, FUTURE PRESIDENT COMING THROUGH..."
Dodging those on the ground beneath himself, he swerved into a nearby tree, and once landing into the group, made a small crater upon impact. His body in a unmeasurable amount of pain, and with barely any energy left in his body, he called out for help in the best way he knew how.
"OWY-OW! OWSIES! T-THAT HURT! ANYONE HAVE A BAND-AID? I HAVE A BOO-BOO!"

Kay shook her head at the first question and then paused. "I don't know," she admitted, looking at Lusca and then at Kaimon who offered his own answer of no. "I'm home-schooled." Ever since she'd been born, her parents provided her with teachers for everything back on Shikk. Fighting, letters, history, math...they all came from the tutors the Coliflo family brought in. As Kaimon spoke more, Kay leaned against a nearby tree, beginning to relax a little in their presence. AtLusca’s introduction, she said, “Nice to meet you, both of you!” It was always good to have a name to put to a face.
Turning to Kaimon she watched as he stretched. She’d learned similar motions back home thinking it funny how, worlds apart, they still had so much in common. People were fascinating in so many ways, from the way they communicated right down to how functioned. Complex emotions connected them, made them do strange things sometimes, but in the end it’s really what made them who they were.
The five year old hadn’t heard any rumors about strange creatures in the forest, nor had she seen any. Either the rumors were false or she’d just been lucky. However, the rumors still pervaded the local towns, spread by bystander and officials alike. When Kaimon asked what Lusca was doing out here she realized she didn’t feel that curious about it. Why shouldn’t people go to the woods when they wanted to? Sometimes reasons should be their own, and other times not so much, and the femenine Namekian was an adult - Nana always said that when Kay grew up she’d be able to do what she wanted but for now she had to listen to her nanny.
And then he heard a crash and a now familiar voice. One hand came up and pressed against her forehead, dark blue eyes closing as she whispered, “Oh, no…” The Purple Man had come again. Was he following her or something? She looked over at the other two and said, “I’ll be right back…” and went over to find Jax sprawled all over the ground and himself. Reaching down, she offered him a hand up, a curious look on her face. “What sort of trouble are you getting yourself into now? Seriously, though...you okay?”

It seemed that both of these Saiyan children were here in the forest trying to get in some training of their own. If this location is this popular for training, then if I want to get in any solo training without any interference or interruptions, I am definitely going to have to get myself either my own ship, or locate somewhere else to train besides the Lookout. the feminine Namekian thought to herself, raising an eyebrow at the child turned questioner. "Simple. I was here to get in some training myself," she said before bending over so that she was eye level with him, "until I found myself running a daycare in the woods." quipped Lusca, the faintest traces of a smirk on her face before she immediately went on the defensive once more at the sounds of something crashing through the forest.
She blinked as a human male dressed in the stupidest looking purple outfit was apparently the culprit, and was crying out about how he... had a boo boo. The feminine Namekian sighed and shook her head, pinching the bridge of her nose in the process as she tried to fathom the situation that had gotten clearly out of her control. "First Saiyan children, now a child-like adult human... what's next? An elderly Arcosian perhaps?" she asked, looking up at the skies above as if seeking an answer from the heavens themselves in her exasperation. And to make matters apparently worse, this whining purple moron was trying to become this worlds next leader... Lusca could only hope that he did not succeed, if only to spare the rest of the galaxy his incompetence.
Lusca grumbled a bit before she walked over and tried to grab the purple suited idiot by wherever she could and haul him to his feet. "Quit your whining. You're barely bruised. May have a sprained bone here and there but nothing that'll kill you." she growled, unable to put up with this humans melodrama for much longer. "Honestly, if this is how you conduct yourself when you have a mild crash, I dread to consider what sort of state you'll put this planet in with you in charge." the feminine Namekian said before she began to walk away. "As for you two, this way if you want to train. There's a waterfall not too far from here that'll do the job." Lusca declared, deciding that if they were all there for training, they may as well do it in a group. Sparring would do just as well as solo for the time being.

Bastion's PL: 50,250
Interestingly enough, Lusca's sky-directed complaint was answered. From the sky, a large shape descended, wooden limbs held in careful positioning. It was not the guardian she would have been familiar with, however. Instead, the figure was dressed in odd white armor, like a mobile tower, and his bark was a dark brown, instead of black. When he spoke, a deep rumbling echoed out, replacing Walker's refined telepathic 'voice.' This was Bastion, and he introduced himself as such.
"My name is Bastion. You are Lusca, correct? I came to see if I could assist you in some training. I am the son of Walker, the Caretaker of the Lookout you are more familiar with." What did I tell you?
Bowing deeply, Bastion observed the others there. A young Saiyan, some sort of other creature, presumably a demon... and a clown? What was this bizarre purple-suited creature doing here? He appeared to be acting severely injured, despite no obvious blood. Was he perhaps some form of Balloon based lifeform? Mentally dismissing the bizarre being, he turned back to Lusca.
"I apologize, my father intended to help you, but he is currently training in the Otherworld, dealing with a problem from his creation. He will be back, but not yet." Straightening up, he looked about. Interesting. There was some decent power levels here, for such small children. The next generation's prospects were good, if these were the children who would be in it.

After all the already curious people out in the woods Kaimon had encountered today, he was so sure that no one else would be out and about to clutter up his training time. Meeting new people was great fun, but training to get strong was also important. Hearing Lusca's answer he smiled. Asserting to himself that there were other warriors in need of training too, he didn't feel like the weakest bunch of the pack despite being the weakest person in the area at the time. With the sudden appearance of a purple figure who looked sickly as they propelled into the ground creating a small crater, Kaimon lost the smile once he felt their power. This guy can't even fly and he's stronger than me? Just how strong were the other fighters on Earth?
Kay seemed to know the stranger, which was good Kaimon guessed since it meant that he wasn't a threat... hopefully. He spoke up, a little worried as the man had seemed to really do a number on himself. "Hello? Are you alright Mister?" Lusca didn't seem too impressed with the mans wails of pain, but from what Kaimon could see he seemed to be hurting. Just a little immature about how he expressed it is all. Hearing Lusca mention a waterfall to train in though piqued Kaimon's interest and caused a flutter in his eyes grasping hold of his attention almost completely. "Yes mam!" He said, following blindly.
He barely noticed the arrival of the powerful being that hovered down from the air above and began to speak with Lusca. Woah... Kaimon trembled at the immense power of the creature that introduced it'self as Bastion to Lusca when it spoke. Apparently it was the caretaker of the 'Lookout'? Kaimon had never heard of it but he assumed it was either a training location or somewhere to fight. Either of the two prospects seemed exciting.

"Well, this isn't too bad...no, it's actually kind of nice, here in this crater. The forest is kind of pretty of nice as well, it's very pretty and...oh god, my stomach..."
Rolling around in the crater, holding his stomach, Jax started to let out a little teensy-weensy wail of pain. He didn't want to be here, he didn't even want to be near here. He just wanted to be at the park, talking to anyone that walked by about the good he could bring the planet if elected, whether they wanted him to or not. But he wasn't there, doing that. He was here, in the forest, feeling the worst he had felt in a long while. So he continued to roll around, wailing in pain, occasionally even flailing his arms here and there just to get the point across that he was in pain. Luckily during this rather dramatic reaction to the suffering his body was going through, a unexpected friend had come by the crater and offered Jax a hand out of the hole he had found himself in.
"Oh, I didn't expect to find you here, Kay..." He really hadn't expected to find the hybrid here, and it did seem strange that the two kept running into one another, even more so always when it seemed Jax was in the middle of making a fool of himself. Accepting her offer, he hoisted himself up, his legs starting shaking once properly on the ground. "I was just trying to get by when..."
But before he could even get a word in, a female Namekian came out of seemingly nowhere and hoisted him out of the crater, as if trying to help Jax, and started berating him for the way he was acting. And while Jax hated to admit it, she had a point. If he was going to help guide this planet one day, he was going to need to toughen up. Attempting to go and apologize for 'causing a disturbance, but he was interrupted by...a tree? A living tree? Jax wanted to say he was surprised, but honestly at this point, this sort of thing had become normal to him. His life had come to the point where it was just as strange as the fictional character's that he used to play. Listening in on the plantman's conversation, he mentioned something about a "lookout", which he wasn't sure if it was some gardening fan club or something, and the "otherworld". Jax was admittedly taken a bit back by how deep the creature's voice was, and how calm and collected they appeared to be. But more importantly then any of that, Jax heard one word that caught his ear. Checking the time, he glanced up at the sun, trying to get a proper estimate. It was either early morning, or early noon, or possibly even near the end of the day going by his calculations. He had to be at the stand in an hour, but the way he thought about it, a few bruises here and there would only make him look tougher to the voters. Going over to the two strangers, Jax tried to join in on their discussion.
"Hey, green girl and wood-dawg, I'm sorry to interject and all...b-but...oh garsh, excuse me a moment."
Putting up a finger, Jax signaled that he needed to pause. Turning to the hole that had formed around Jax's practically lanky body, he unloaded an unfathomable amount of vomit. Somehow, it seemed that getting rid of the waste inside of his gut made him feel better, as if he this was all his body needed to return to it's proper condition. Once feeling the chunks where done being properly thrown up, he returned his attention to the two.
"Sorry about all that, rather unhip of me. But as I was saying, I overheard something about "training" and I'd love to join with you guys." Jax gestured to Kay and the lad in green who were behind him, as he expected those to be the ones "I haven't done it in awhile, believe it or not. I know, it's hard to believe, with how amazing this body is and all..." Trying to prove himself fit for a sparring partner, Jax flexed his arms, but instead of proving how much muscle he had, he instead began showing off how lanky and cartoonish his body was. "So yeah, what do you say? Want to try the Jax-man?"

Hearing that Lusca was there for training, too, made her perk up a bit but she had to help the wayward politician before anything else. She might not care for his politics, but as a five year old, she didn’t care much for politics in general right then. Looking up at Jax with an almost apologetic look on her face, she was also amused at the way Lusca handled the situation and looked from Lusca and then back to Jax before looking at Lusca once more. Caught between a rock and a hard place she decided that if Jax couldn’t go to the waterfall with them, Kay would just train with him, herself. After all, she’d seen him in action and he’d bravely helped them out on that quest against the Minotaur. Perhaps there was more to him than the purple suit and clumsiness entailed.
And then someone literally descended from the sky proclaiming himself something or other that Kay didn’t quite understand. He seemed to know Lusca, though, or at least knew of her and was offering her some kind of help? Kay shrugged and looked over at Kaimon to see what he thought of this new tree person.
He, at least, seemed to be impressed and Kay wondered what the lookout was and why it was so special. Where was it? What was its purpose? Could she go there? She refrained from asking her usual burst of questions in an unusual show of self reservation. Perhaps she was growing as a person, or maybe the tree guy intimidated her - maybe. Then again, she’d never let that stop her before. Yet this ‘Bastion’ only addressed Lusca and it would feel rude to interrupt that, right?
Jax fumbled with his words as usual and she patted him on the back a little sympathetically. He might be a bigoted, racist, strange individual, but deep down buried under all that purple was a person Kay thought actually had potential if he just applied himself. “So...training, then? I’ll train with you, Jax,” she added thoughtfully and to let Lusca know she’d take responsibility for training the impractical politician so Lusca wouldn’t have to worry about it if she didn’t want to.

When the tree like creature appeared, the feminine Namekian thought that the Lookout's Caretaker had returned with a new look... before it spoke and introduced itself as Bastion, one of Walkers... children for lack of a better term. She shook her head and bowed before him. "It's not a problem. I knew that your father was... is a busy entity and did not wish to occupy his time with my needs." said Lusca before shooting a glare towards the purple clothed whining moronic fool that interrupted them, using words that she wasn't entirely sure were even words. Just as she was about to interject and proceed to take him up on his offer to "try him out" if only to show where he was woefully unprepared, the little girl took on the responsibility for training the human, and effectively keep the man out of her metaphorical hair. Lusca nodded to Kay-El before looking back to Bastion. "Would you perhaps wish to help as an overseer instructor?" she inquired, gesturing to their numbers. "If Kay is handling this... Jax person, then I suppose I should spar with the boy Kaimon." she said, before looking at the boy. "If that's alright with yourself?" the feminine Namekian asked of the child before she began to lead the way towards the waterfall location that she knew about. "Here we are." said Lusca once they arrived at the location for their training. "The water is shallow enough to stand in, but the current is fast enough to force you to concentrate on maintaining your position, and with the addition of a sparring partner arrayed against you the very terrain will be working against you, forcing your mind and body to work that much harder to ensure that you don't slip up." the feminine Namekian explained, a smirk spreading across her features. "Figuratively, and literally."
