”You are wanted at the - you know- the dome.” Paengi looked up at the shape of Samuka on the top part of the stairs. Paengi stood up, walking towards the staircase. He frowned, wondering what they could want with him. He might be the warrior caste leader, but he knew nothing about magic. Dragon clansmen seemed to weave magic around like thread, using it for healing and so much more. He however? Perhaps they had already completed what they had to set out to do, created some mystical tool for training harder. Whatever it was, it was his responsibility to help with what they wanted.
He stepped outside, looking at the dome in the distance. He began walking at a slow pace, before he got bored and floated in the air. He suddenly shot off towards the building, as he watched namekians fly all around the base. Though it did make them have a bigger weak point having a large base, now they were much stronger. Their communications were better, they were more organized, and it all just worked better.
In what seemed like no time, Paengi had arrived. He looked at the mysterious dome, and stepped in. It was an odd sight. The ceiling appeared to be made of hexagonal mirrors, with the whole thing reflecting around itself. On the floor, neon blue lines ran across, a dim light emitting from them. They led to a large circle in the middle, with many indents in it like something needed to be put in. Finally done being stunned at the sight, Paengi looked at the namekians in the room. One warrior caste stood off to the side, with armor that had mysterious glowing symbols on it. Besides him was a collection of three dragon caste. One looked slim and thin, in the prime of his youth. The second was a much more mature chubby looking dragon clan, and finally what appeared to be a wizened old one.
”Paengi,” the chubby looking one said as he greeted him. ”We thank you for coming. During our attempts at making this- chamber- work, we believe we know what we need. A gem.” Paengi frowned, wondering what kind of gem they could need. Gems were rarely seen on this planet, their value not being massive as they are on earth. ”It is some sort of mystic relic. It’s location is in an ancient warrior caste temple. This is information we do not want to share with all, and we do not know what dangers could hold. Because of this, we request that you handle the situation.” Paengi nodded, understanding their concern. ”Here’s the location,” the younger looking dragon caste said bringing a map to him. He looked it over, keeping track of where it was.
”I’ll head out right away,” he said walking out of the dome. He wondered what it would bring. An ancient warrior caste temple could be wondrous. What old culture could be there? He shot off into the sky, recalling the map. It was around the edge of the quiet plains, a very secluded location. Here, the ground became less flat as the rest, the ground suddenly spiking up. Small mountains rose up, the terrain suddenly becoming violent.
Paengi flew across the land, looking across it. In the distance he watched as the mountains grew closer and he slowed down as he approached. He came to a stop, and dropped to the ground. He looked about the area, wondering where it was. He could feel his feet pounding the ground as he marched throughout the area, carefully examining each piece of rubble. He continued, until he noticed something. On the ground was a symbol. The warrior caste symbol. He slowly walked towards it, staring. This was the entrance. He bent over, examining it closely.
His hand brushed over it, a feeling of excitement filling him. He was about to explore something great. What his ancestors had left behind. His fingers wrapped around the edges of it, until they found it. He pulled it back, and looked down the hole. He dropped his legs through, and fell down it.
Paengi looked around at the pitch black around him, momentarily stunned. After a moment of thought he ignited his aura. A faint silver light wrapped around him, and he felt the room light up. He was in a dim corridor, and slowly walked down it. Symbols were on the walls, and Paengi could only stare in wonder, thinking about what they could mean. Finally he seemed to come to an end, the corridor stopping at an open doorway.
A single ball of pure, golden energy, hovered in the room. He stared at it, amazed at the work. Somehow after all this time, some mystical technique left this still here. He looked down, where a pedestal lay. It was a gem. He walked towards it slowly, eyes wide. His hands reached out and grabbed it- and nothing happened. No booby traps, no death pit. Then the light ball flashed. He scrambled back, covering his eyes as it was briefly illuminated. After a moment of waiting, he dropped his hand. His eyes went wide as he now saw the easily seen floor. A massive map showed in great detail. He stared, and with a gasp recognized one spot. There, near the middle of it all, was the depressions in the ground where the warrior caste headquarters sat. This was before even that. His eyes travelled to the edges of the map, where he saw the mountains. They were drawn carefully, every ridge shown. Then he saw it. At the exact spot where he had entered, a symbol was. His mouth shot open as he then searched the map, wondering what other secrets could be revealed here. Sadly, he saw no other temple symbols. He almost walked away, when he spotted it. A small grove of trees, a rare thing in the quiet plains. And that caught his attention. He walked towards it, studying it. So much was still correct about this map, despite it being made long ago. Be bent over it, almost having forgot he had the gem in his hand at this point, and looked closely. There, hidden almost perfectly, was the symbol again. He knew where he had to go next.
He was about to leave, when he looked down at the crystal. It was so mysterious, yet he had barely looked at it. He held it up to the light, when he almost dropped it. A single beam of light shot towards it, and suddenly refracted around the room. He stared, flabbergasted, before he felt an odd feeling. His vision was suddenly a whirlwind of color, and Paengi’s sight went black,
Paengi woke up- or at least he had thought he woke up. This was revealed to be false as soon as he got a good look at where he was. He was some sort of blue spirit, an energy version of his soul, in a wild looking place. Bright blue colors were everywhere, disorienting him greatly.
”Welcome Paengi,” a screeching sound said. He turned around as quickly as he could, desperately searching for what had said it. ”You are in our world now. Fear not, we mean you no harm,” it said again, before a raspy coughing noise was heard ”You have gone through so much. So sad. I feel the past despairs of your life, your planet, trying to catch you. Yet you prevail,” it continued as Paengi spinned, unable to pinpoint the location of the voice. ”You are not strong enough. Nowhere near strong enough for what awaits you,” he heard as he began to breathe rapidly, panic rising in him. ”With this gem, you will grow. Your inner strength will rise, for you are the silver.” a massive blue symbol suddenly shot into Paengi, and he looked down at where it had went inside of him. What was this place?
”You will not be alone. The prophet, and his guard. The one stronger than even you. So many more will be under your command. Yet you cannot trust them all. For one, one is not what they appear.” Paengi finally, stopped searching, having located where the sound came from. He defiantly stared at the direction, ready for anything. ”BewAREEE!!!” it said as the warning turned into a screech. A figure, seeming to appear out of nowhere, rushed his vision and everything went dark.
