Interesting, that was the only word to describe it... Emer found himself standing at the opening of an old abandoned school building. Looking around for a moment, it seemed that it had been destroyed in some places... Maybe due to the saiyan invasion. Taking a step through the busted gate he began to look around for a bit. Overall it seemed that the structure was still solid in some places, but in others it was falling on top of itself. The tall Kagami started to walk around the giant building... Noticing the different gatherings outside... There was some patios, other places was a lushes open green field. Beyond that, it was just like a normal walk way to one of those fancy mansions you see on t.v.... This place was huge... Just what was it exactly. Suddenly something under his foot clanked slightly as he stepped on it. Looking down there was a small sign covered in dust.
Reaching down, Emer picked the object up and began to look over it... "Well then... It seems this was some sort of school.." He stated aloud to himself. Before dropping the small sign to the ground. Deciding to venture further into the area, he noticed several different buildings. It looked as if there had been club rooms, and different activities to be had on this place. There was an open field, that looked as if it had been a track field, though there was grass growing all inside of it. He could see some grass stained white from the chalk used to pattern the running fields. There was some pretty decent storage buildings sitting behind each of the fields... He guessed that's where they would keep the special equipment for when they had wanted to practice rwith hurdles, or other things.
Shaking his head, Emer didn't care for much of that, instead his attention shifted to the school building itself. It certainly lived up to the name... The orange color the building was bright as hell... Almost a disgusting color of orange, though now fading due to it being left alone after the invasion. Walking up the the massive double door opening, he pushed it opening, letting out a big gale of dust with other things in his face. Causing the Kagami to cough slightly, if he hadn't been use to the desert, this air he was breathing in right now, would probably be really hard to breathe in. Walking inside, Emer got a small nostalgic feeling, as if he was back at the combat academy back on Vegeta... Even if he was a slave, the time he spent within the combat academy was the best time of his life... Why? Cause he got to beat those good for nothing saiyans without worry.
Looking around, he could see that it went up about three stories... Though some of the stairs had collapsed. And the room around him, was a giant rectangle shape, leading off into four different rooms. Deciding to explore further the Kagami entered each of the rooms, finding a cafeteria, the principals office, a small library, and the final room seemed to be like a fathering area... Nai-ran had stated that she had places like this back on her home planet... What did she call it? An assembly hall. Floating up to the next floor, Emer could see that there was lockers everywhere on this floor. It seemed this was for the first and second years. As it was mostly colorful for those that where younger. Flying up to the next floor, this one was slightly different. The lockers didn't have stickers on them.
Nor did it provide any color, it also looked as if, the materials scattered about, where used for higher level teaching. As some things he didn't even recognize himself. Deciding to fly up to the last floor, he instantly shot back down. Up on top, seemed to be some sort of shower rooms, and a multiple of changing rooms. Apparently this is where everyone went to clean up after club activities... Landing back on the ground, the Kagami had a small smirk on his face. "This might be better than living in the desert. Since no one has decided to repair this place, it might be beneficial to me to restore it... So I'm not stuck in a cave anymore." Shaking his head slightly, a sigh escaped the Kagami as he headed to the principals office and sitting down in a tall chair. It was surprisingly comfortable. Using his cloak to wrap around him, the man started to drift off into sleep... Repairing the place could wait till he had some rest.
Sides if he moved here... He probably wouldn't have so many visitors... And their relatives come to him... They wouldn't know where he had went.

There was a lot of dust. Every small subtle move kicked up dust and left a trail where he had been. He had a black outfit on with a matching facemask on. He didn't want to sully the good name he was making for himself. What was he doing darting from room to room in an abandoned schoolhouse dressed as a ninja?
Honestly even he didn't know. Was he looting the place? No. There wasn't enough to it to even think about selling the stuff he picked up here. Not to mention he didn't have the places to store any potential loot he found. He also had never attended school before, so nothing there held any sentimental value in his mind. He stopped in a classroom on the second floor and took a few steps towards the front of the class. He tried to envision the setting. A whole bunch of kids seated quietly behind desks with books and pencils at the ready. The teacher clearing their throat before addressing the class.
He stepped up to the desk at the front of the room and opened a couple of the drawers. Inside one of the drawers he found a book. It had a complicated word on the front, but he assumed it was an advanced form of math. He picked up the book tried sounding out the title. "A...Arith....ma...Aerithma...."
He frowned and tossed the book down on the desk with a loud thump. Reading could be complicated at some times. He knew how to read, but he struggled to learn new words just by attempting to read them aloud. He sat down at the desk and looked over the room. He tried to imagine the students again, but gave up quickly. It wasn't about learning a new thought process, it was trying to learn a complicated new culture. He ran his fingers through his hair and kicked back in the seat, planting his feet on the book he had just tossed down.
"This feels like a waste of time. What am I even doing here?" He seemed to ask that question a lot. He had a habit of wandering and it left him in some odd situations. He wasn't even paying attention to his ki sense. In all honesty he forgot about it most of the time. It was just another ability of his that he hardly utilized to its full potential. He interlocked his fingers behind his head and closed his eyes, relaxing. He probably should put more time into training, but he didn't feel up to it at the moment.

Alexander paused as he looked up at the building, holding a piece of paper in his hand that seemed to have an address on it. “Orange Star High School,” he murmured to himself as he looked it over, before his gaze moved back to the school. “I expected something...more,” he murmured aloud to himself. He was out of his school uniform as this was something he was doing on his own time. The boy had recently found that for the school he was attending, there was a distinct lack of text books for everyone. There were all manner of books, but they didn't have enough for all the students.
Alex had then taken it upon himself to locate some by going through some of the other abandoned schools in the area. Some of them might have some rather dilapidated material and items, but it would be better than nothing. Mathematics hadn't really changed in the last while- he doubted that any books he found would detail something completely different. Unless they were something along the lines of Namekian Mathematics or something else equally ridiculous. Still, even then, that might be interesting enough to pursue anyway.
He had already been to another school which hadn't had much of anything. It had broadcast itself as a middle school, which he thought they might have something more for the fellows in his school that were less-intelligent or just struggling to have that reading level that advanced. The books however, had been mostly for children and contained more pictures than they did words, it seemed. There wasn't much helpful at all there for him, or for anyone, and he'd been forced to leave that all behind. Orange Star High School had been a rather prestigious high school, at least he was fairly certain, based on what information he'd read online, and so he hoped that there was something a little more...helpful, here.
“Well let's see what we've got,” he spoke as he approached the building. While some tended to be a little unnerved by empty schools, to Alex they felt almost calming. He didn't need to worry about anyone else coming in and disturbing him, and he needn't bother with concealing himself. He was someone that preferred silence and self-discovery than he was socializing and being with others, but he didn't always have that choice. Here, he did, and he was going to take it and enjoy it to its fullest. At least, as much as book-hunting in an abandoned school could be considered 'enjoyment.'
As he stepped beyond the threshold into the school, Alex's body froze almost immediately. His gaze darted to the ground as he noted that there were footsteps leading through here. He wasn't entirely sure if they were recent or not, but the fact that they could be set every nerve on edge. Did someone else have the same idea that he had? Or was this the base of operations for some criminal organization? No, no, not that. He saw only one set of tracks from where he was. Something like that would have multiple, going in and out, and likely from multiple entrances. But here, as he could see, there was but a single set going in.
He frowned, about to take a step, he heard a voice coming from one of the rooms in front of him. His breath caught in his throat. He wasn't entirely certain if what he was doing was legal or not- he hadn't bothered to check and see before he'd started it. Mostly because he really didn't think there'd be anyone else picking around here. If this was a police officer or something worse, he might end up spending a night or two in prison for trespassing...or maybe just told to leave. Then again it might just be a homeless fellow or a squatter- there were any number of possibilities here and standing here considering them wasn't going to get him anywhere.
Exhaling, he moved forward as quietly as he could, the boy picking his way through the rubble, not wanting to make any noise that might indicate to his target that he was behind them. The last thing he needed was a gunshot wound or worse, to find another fighter in here that could take him to town without too much difficulty. His own skill had yet to blossom- though he continued to have that feeling that it would be any time now. It felt like he was on the verge of some sort of breakthrough, but it never happened.
He recognized that continued worry wasn't going to bring him anywhere, and that he need to either confront whoever was in the room above, or he would need to leave. The state of his own school was dire enough that he couldn't think about abandoning them. He'd just have to deal with whoever was in the room in front of him and see if he might be able to get some of the textbooks unmolested. It would simply depend on not only the personality and temperament of the person within, and also his own ability to talk around the situation.
Stepping through the doorway, Alexander arched a single brow as he saw a man...apparently dressed like a ninja of some kind, reclining in one of the chairs of the classroom. He opened his mouth to say something but promptly shut it again. What the hell did you even say to someone like that? This was like a page out of one of the comic books that his father had bought for him. It seemed so comically out of place that were he anyone else, Alexander might have laughed. Instead, his narrowed his gaze further, simply watching the other. “Are you squatting here?” he asked, not one to beat around the bush.

Emer had been right, this place was a bit nicer than the cave he had stayed in. It was almost too nice, he had nearly fallen asleep at the entrance within the principals office. When suddenly his senses startled him awake. His eye's flying open as he sat up... There was two people within the building with him. How could he be so careless... That he let his guard down so much, that people been able to enter without throwing the Kagami in over drive. His eye's shifting around the room slightly, Emer let a small sigh escape as Irith peeped up within his head. 'Hey Emer... You probably already noticed... But these two have a lower power level than you... If you leave your cloak on... They may not bother ya.' Giving a small grunt in reply the Kagami stood up. As he headed out the door he noticed the ground.
There where tracks apparent from his own... It seemed that the two that had stumbled in here, had been smaller than Emer as well. Closing his eyes, he began to search around for where their power levels came from. Suddenly the two power levels seemed to becoming from upstairs... He hadn't looked into the upper floors too much, he just simply flew up earlier to check out the rest of the place. Cursing his clumsiness the Kagami decided to head up the stairs... It was amazing that they didn't just crumble with how poorly they looked... Yet they where even more impressive, that it was holding the tall Kagami without any problems. Maybe this place just needed a little touch up compared to what he previously thought. Irith, was starting to ping him slightly, but the Kagami held off on the warning... He knew he shouldn't be fighting, as he was no where near as strong as he used to be.
Suddenly he found himself standing outside of a room. The two power levels seemed to becoming from inside... He didn't know what to think about this... Especially about hiding himself, cause if the two residing inside the room had the same ability as himself.... Then hiding would be pointless, as they could probably sense him from around the doorway. 'Irith.... I do believe this is pointless to hide don't you? I mean... If someone wanted to find me, they would be able too.... We're going to have to find a way later, to hide my presence.' The young goddess within him couldn't help but chuckle inside of him. As he stepped around the door way to take a peek at whom may be inside. That's when he nearly fell over in shock... Mostly because he couldn't believe what he saw.
In the middle of the room, sat a man at some weird looking table uh seat thing? Emer still knew very little about the human world... But these people seemed to be very familiar with the place. But what had thrown him off even more, was the weird choice within their attire. He couldn't exactly put words to how the two of them where dressed... But at the same time, they probably would have a hard time explaining what Emer was wearing... But there he was standing at the doorway peering in at them. The Kagami stood at an amazing height of Seven foot ten, and with the black cloak on, he looked nearly two times as thick as he normally was. They couldn't seen anything on him as of now, since the item was wrapped around his entire body. The only thing they could possibly see, was the bright red eyes glaring out from underneath the cloak.
He didn't think anything about allowing his presence to be known to the younger looking one of the group, as he seemed to be focused on the man sitting at the desk. But if the man looked over towards the doorway, and the younger man, he would see the giant black mass with glowing red eyes starring at the two of them. It almost looked like a demon out of a story book in a way... Oh the irony if Emer had only known what the man sitting at the desk had been dressed up as. Turning his gaze down at the young man asking the other if he was squatting here. Tilting his head slightly, Emer didn't see the man working out, as Nai had told him, that squatting was the act of lifting weights with your legs... But, he was just sitting there.
'People on earth... use... interesting word choices Irith... I don't know what it's about them, but the longer I stay on earth, the more attach I become to them, though it'll take me a while to even get used to them.' Irith sighed slightly at his statement. But at least it was an improvement from when he first landed on earth. He nearly killed every human he had seen, simply because they had looked like the saiyans, so he thought he had escaped to another saiyan planet initially. Suddenly his attention snapped to something, the two in front of him, together they nearly equaled his current strength without his cloak... If they teamed up, the Kagami may be forced to get serious for a moment... His teeth gritting underneath the cloak... Where they going to be like others and attack him... It wouldn't be the first... Emer had constantly been attacked since he landed on this god forsaken planet. In fact the first human Kiba, tried to kill him as well. If either of them began sensing Emer's aura, it would almost seem like a blood thirsty killers, with no remorse... Though it was a defensive one at that... As if he was prepared to be attacked.
Should they choose not to attack though, and talk to the tall Kagami, they would notice the killing intent to slowly fade away... But the creature standing in front of them, would still stand on guard... Mostly because he trusted no one anymore... They had all betrayed him in one way or another.

Treylech had let his guard down. He didn't realize anyone else had come in. It didn't bother him because the kid didn't seem to have that large of a power level. He opened his eyes and looked at the kid, taking note of a second power level behind him. He didn't look in that direction at first. He thought about what the kid asked.
Squatting. That was an odd term, but he figured it meant he was staying there as a temporary to long term home. He shook his head. "Not even close. I like how quiet it is here." He slid his legs off the desk and they took to resting on the floor as he glanced over the kid's shoulder.
That's when he felt it. An unearthly fear as he saw what looked to be a demon standing in the doorway. He wasn't certain if it had malicious intent, but he felt that twinge of fear burn into his heart. He didn't let it affect his actions. Standing up, he eyed the demon closely. "What the...?"
He prepared himself for combat on the off chance that conflict was initiated. His fingers twitched nervously. "Is there something we can help you with?"
(Sorry. Off day.)

Alexander watched the man in front of him who seemed to be mostly...unafraid of him. That was fine- he had no way of telling just how strong this man was in front of him. There were several, he had come to find out, that dwarfed him in strength, and he was even weaker than he had ever before surmised. This was something that he couldn't abide by, but his own training had so far not borne any fruit- he was just as weak as he'd always been. He couldn't help but to be more than a little irritated at the situation, but really, what else could he do besides keep trying to push his limits?
At the man's answer, Alex gave a small frown as he glanced about. He supposed that it was rather quiet here...but there were other places that were just as much so, and with far better accomodations. This place was old and dilapidated- there wasn't much that could be considered comfortable as far as he was concerned. Then again, from the lap of luxury he'd come, and as such, it was difficult for him to really understand the plight of others. He was used to rather cushy chairs and nice food...he supposed that such might not be the same for others.
He wondered if this fellow might be serious, about just enjoying the calm and peace that the abandoned building had provided. Then again, he wasn't entirely sure how seriously he could take him, considering the fact that the man was dressed like a ninja. That wasn't exactly the most common garb in this time of day- he wondered if the fellow might have a few screws loose...or maybe this was the real state of the world outside of Alexander's small view of it. That thought sent a slight shiver down his spine- how much did he really not know about what lay beyond?
However, his thoughts of self-discovery were cut short as the ninja fellow's gaze was drawn to something behind the young man, and an utterance of both fear and surprise came next. Alex was not one to ignore a hint as he turned, not really sure what he was expecting to see...but a large, looming figure with brilliant red eyes staring at them was among the least of things. He kept up his cold, icy exterior, but took a few steps back nonetheless as he felt his heart rate increasing despite himself. He wanted to say that he wasn't afraid of the current situation but...he was.
Alexander was a sixteen year old from high society, who had been raised and pampered his entire life. He didn't particularly care for it, but he still was used to things having a degree of normalcy. But right now, things had gone from making sense to making none in the span of about a minute. He had found a ninja squatting in an old abandoned school building (which he still believed despite the man's insistence he was not) and then they were being ambushed by what appeared to be something formed of pure nightmare fuel.
He exhaled slowly as his gaze moved from the ninja back to the demon, who seemed to be trying to communicate with it. Help? Was there something that this demonic entity...wanted? Was he just curious? Was he the ghost of this school, doomed to haunt its halls forever more after something bad had happened to it? He didn't have enough information to really make any kind of decision here and that was something that scared him perhaps more than the situation itself. Still, if the ninja was trying to communicate, he could too.
“I'm just here to try and locate some books for my school,” he explained to the creature, in case it was some beast of vengeance. Perhaps he had caused it into existence with his ill intentions, if it was guarding this place? “If they're yours I can leave them be and move on,” he offered. His voice held no tinge of fear, his emotions perfectly masked, but from the words themselves, it would be fairly obvious that he was more than a little concerned about the situation. He just hoped they didn't pick up on that too well.

The old building’s shadow was larger than it, the structure formidable even without its dark double. Parts of it had crumbled off long ago, moss-covered debris littering the grounds. The young girl wandered further in knowing that her Nanny followed close behind - she had to keep moving. It had taken all her tricks to give Nana the slip that morning, giving the Saiyan woman a run for her Zeni. Tail held close as the five year old took slow, cautious steps towards the questionable safety within those walls, it was the only sign of nerves she showed.
Light on her feet and small of stature, Kay-El Coliflo had no issues fitting into smaller nooks and crannies. Spotting one, a small opening high in the wall that used to be a window, wings sprouted from her back as she took to the air. With some hesitation she started to stick her head through first before thinking better of it. One foot landed on the sill and then the other, small hands gripping the rough edges of the broken window as she sat on the ledge and peered in.
The floor was dirty, tiles stacked with a grime only years of disuse could give it. Stalls sat on the far left, sinks and mirrors lined the opposite wall: this had to be a bathroom. Bare feet flexed against the wall as Kay dropped down and relieved her aching bladder in one of the stalls, surprised the plumbing still worked when she pushed the metal lever. Although the perilous journey to Earth was finally over, the child found this planet quite troublesome all on its own. The sand they’d landed in was coarse, rough, and nowhere near water. Accustomed to Shikk’s shores of soft white sand and clear water, Earth just didn’t feel as welcoming. Or maybe that was just Kay’s biased opinion, the pod’s course had been set for Namek, after all. She, Nana and Pounce ran afoul of an Asteroid Field and been knocked off course.
As if thought alone roused the small feline, something in Kay’s backpack moved. After washing her hands she set the bag down and opened it up, letting the tiny ball of fur escape. It let out an appreciative ‘meow’ before stretching back and forth. Those small but powerful hind legs bunched and Pounce lived up to her name as she landed atop Kay-El’s right shoulder, warm tail tickling the back of the hybrid’s neck and slightly pointed ears.
A rich, grassy scent filled the room, wafted in on a breeze, but that wasn’t the only thing carried along. Voices, at least two of them, and Kay-El took the the air once more. Her bag in hand and the kitten on her shoulder, she slowly rose until just the top of her midnight blue hair and matching eyes were above the bottom sill of the window above. Small, webbed fingers gripped the edge and she pushed herself up enough to see into the room and what she saw almost Made her forget to fly.
At first, the backs of two figures seemed perfectly normal. They were turned away from her and staring at something in the doorway but blocked her line of sight to it. Both were dressed funny, in Kay’s opinion - alien clothing was often strange to foreign eyes. But no matter, the words intrigued her more than clothes. Conflict and tension seemed to be brewing thick enough to cut with a knife and Kay wondered if she should go. Only intending to explore, the last thing she wanted was to run into trouble. Trouble, however, seemed to find her almost as consistently as Nana.
She lifted herself up quietly a bit more, leaning on her elbows so she could peer into the room more efficiently. It was a good thing she just relieved her bladder for the shadowy sight lurking in the doorway would have done it for her. Glowing red eyes, an ominous sight to say the least, surrounded by writing black shadowy tentacles that seemed to reach out to her. Her heart skipped a beat and her wings faltered, only her hands and elbows on the window sill kept her from crashing to the ground below. It was all she could to to keep her power coiled up inside of her, but somehow she managed.
Pounce hissed softly into her ear, her fine, black, baby kitten fuzz sticking up on end. Kay-El carefully hoisted herself into the room, feet landing safely on the floor. With the slightest shift, her back met the wall and she felt better for it.
