Paengi landed, already having dropped off the elder and child. He walked up to Samuka, and the whole caste seemed to grow quiet. By now, they all knew he had been sent to the capitol. ”Samuka. There are god like fighters there. However, there are reports of allies with even higher strength. It appeared to be true, due to them fighting our foes. However, if these allies foe then our life will be changed. The Mazoku and his alien friends intent on ruling this planet. I fled,” he said, gulping. ”Under your orders, I made sure I survived. However I am a coward for doing so,” he said bowing his head. ”I’m sorry, everything in my body screamed at me to try fighting, but your orders were clear, and I am no traitor,” he finished. Samuka stared him in the eyes.
”You retreated, and yes, those were my orders. And you followed them, like you should of. If you had died, our greatest warrior would be dead. Instead you have survived, and we know what we are dealing with. Now, I must discuss something. With Namek in such peril, one thing is clear. We need a powerful leader. We need a namekian that is the best fighter we have. We need you,” he whispered, though it was so quiet it seemed to echo throughout the room. Paengi’s eyes grew wide, before he backed up.
”I- I don’t know what to say. No, I do. Fool!” he shouted, anger rising in him. ”I am in no way suitable! I do not care that you claim me the strongest, how can I lead! I have only failed! he yelled at his leader. He turned away from him, unable to look. Sweat was pouring down his body, and if he could grow red he would be.
That’s when Samuka spoke. ”I put forth a challenge to myself for leadership! I wish for Paengi to fight, and the winner becomes winner! If he is proven to be the strongest, PAENGI WILL BE THE NEW LEADER!” Paengi froze, slowly pivoting on one foot to turn around. Samuka looked fierce, seeming to go to any measure to put up Paengi to leadership.
”What is wrong with you Samuka! Do you wish to doom us all! My father told me something once. The leader of the Warrior Caste must be the strongest, and the wisest. Even if you speak the truth by calling me the strongest, I am still not the wisest! Due to this I am not a suitable candidate!” Samuka looked straight at him, seeming to burrow into his soul. Still though, he kept his cool.
”I will be your wisdom. At this time, the strongest is what we need. Despite this, you are right. Wisdom must be behind the leader. And so it shall. I will be with you, guide you, ensure you do your duty. I trust you to do this, and you to succeed. However, despite me wanting you to lead us, I still need to make sure we have a true leader. We will fight, with nothing held back. The winner will lead us.”
Paengi stood across from Samuka, both ready to go at it. He had never seen the fighter in action, to be honest. ”Use your full power. Though discouraged, death is not treachery here. Now, I will let you begin the fight.” Paengi watched him carefully, and got ready. Then he was off. His feet pounded across the ground, and one smashed down. He accelerated through the air, fist pulling back. Suddenly Samuka blurred for a moment, then disappeared. Paengi flipped and landed on the ground, using the technique to stop his momentum. His head snapped back and forth, looking for the namekian, before he had to jump up as a sudden leg attempted to sweep underneath him. Paengi locked onto Samuka, as his own leg suddenly stretched forward. Samuka dropped, just barely dodging it before he was in the sky again. ”You are more powerful than me Paengi. But power is not everything,” a voice from behind him said. ”There are many, mysterious techniques,” Samuka said again, suddenly in front of him. Paengi’s head turned back and forth, fear rising in him. What demonry was this! How did Samuka manage to be in two directions. ”Experience grants me advantage. One such advantage, is the ability to use my environment,” he said, now flying above him. Paengi flew up to him, but suddenly Samuka began flying away. There was no way the fighter was scared, surely there was some plan here. Paengi shot towards him, trying to figure out where they were going. His eyes went wide as nhe saw, a lake approaching in the distance. A few seconds later, Paengi dropped down by it. In front of him stood Samuka.
”Why have we moved? Samuka, do you really intend to fight underwater?” Paengi question. Samuka smiled, and put his hand in the air. A spark appeared, before growing in size. A roaring ball of fire was now right above Samuka’s head, as Paengi prepared to dodge. Then it shot backwards. Paengi frowned as it hit the lake, when his eyes went wide with realization. Fog was rolling off the lake, and in seconds Paengi could not see two feet in front of him.
”You cannot sense energy Paengi, can you? Once you are leader, I can teach you many techniques. One I have already used against you.” Paengi scowled, wonder what he meant. Surely he didn’t mean the fireball, right? Suddenly a fist smashed into his chest. He jumped backwards with it, when a foot crashed into his back. He spun around but was hit from behind again. How did he move so fast! His question was… answered in sorts when suddenly two hands grabbed him from behind! Before Paengi could respond however, a foot crashed into him. A barrage of punches assaulted Paengi, as he could do nothing. Two! Surely Samuka didn’t have someone here to help him! A fist smashed into his head, and for a moment black threatened to flood his vision. No! This was not his best! Paengi closed his eyes, reaching deep for his power inside. He felt it, letting it relax for a moment, before throwing it in every direction. Paengi shouted with power as he expanded, the arms now too small to grip him. He rose above the mist blocking his vision, and he grinned with the thrill of fight. ”You- you know the technique of our ancients. But- how!” two voices said at the same time, coming from different sizes. ”It looks like I’m not the only one…” Samuka said, as Paengi froze. This was going to be hard. Two shapes began to rise, until they were both around the size of Paengi. There were two Samukas. In an instant, they shot art him. Paengi desperately went for one, but couldn’t get a single hit in as he was assaulted by the other one. He backed up, trying to block the seemingly infinite strikes as the- were they clones?- worked in synchronization. He had to do something! If he trusted Samuka, he knew that he was much stronger than him. But that didn’t matter, he had yet to even hit him. Paengi frowned, and knew he had to do something. Paengi braced himself, and began calling upon his Ki. SIlver wisps rose all around him, before suddenly they rose like a fire as he screamed with fury. ”SILVER CHIMERA RUSH!” he screamed as he began his assault.
Aura coated his whole body, as he went in for a flurry of attacks. Every time one tried to attack, his ki seemed to make them jump back, allowing him to focus on one. The one he focused on had a much different look now. Fear. He could do nothing but dodge as his other self attempted to stop Paengi. Paengi went in for a powerful strike. Suddenly he seemed to turn to mist, and the mist shot into the other Samuka. Paengi slowly turned, confused.
”That was a very special technique I used. If you win this fight I shall teach you how to harness it. You split your power, splitting yourself with it. However, now I am at full power.” Paengi got into a defensive stance, ready for anything. Then what had began to become one of his weaknesses came to him. Seven blasts of energy were suddenly flying at him, and Paengi was not prepared. He tried to dodge too late, having not expected non melee attacks, and was knocked back when suddenly Samuka came in. He struggled to try and stop the attack, but was brutally hit by a roundhouse kick. He fell to the ground, black spots making him barely able to see. He would not give up however. As another punch came for him, he threw his weight backwards. This was a dangerous tactic, but the only way he could see himself winning. He threw his arm out, making sure a certain spot was hurt. Suddenly he screamed with pain and it connected like he hoped, and the limb was completely severed. Samuka’s eyes grew wide, his momentum surprisingly still going instead of the fist stopping. Paengi turned his shoulder, as liquid shot out from it. A young looking arm smashed into the Samuka. He watched surprise on the foe’s leader’s face, before the massive namekian fell straight to the ground. It made a large gust of wind, and all the low flying clouds were gone now. He stared at the now shrinking unconscious namekian, looking at his own fist. Slowly he shrank too, still in shock. It took forever to hit him, but one punch was all it took. In a few moments he was down on the ground, by Samuka. Though he didn’t want it, he was leader now. But if he had to be leader, he would make sure the mistake Samuka made was fixed. Paengi would become the best leader he could.
[Okay, this is made for a challenge thread. I am claiming the position of warrior caste leader. If you wish to respond to this and don’t want to challenge me, I respectfully ask you don’t post here. If no one challenges me/posts here then I will hopefully get the position. I will make another post here learning SBC and multiform, and put it up for grade. If anyone challenges this will become a saga, and the victor will become leader(if they meet the requirements]
