To those with Ki sense, the sudden surge of energy would have likely been noticeable. The much larger surge a few days later would have been even more noticeable, the power arcing to even greater heights. Those who were versed in magic would likely have been able to discern the sudden swelling of a strange sorcerous power in the Western Frontiers, where said surge of Ki came from. However, the largest news would likely be the reports mere hours later that some sort of island appeared to moving through the air over Fukurou Forest. Nobody had approached yet, given how far it was from civilization, but there was some curiosity from those who believed the reports. A single picture had been taken by a passenger on an airplane who had noticed it from a distance. For any that approach, they would be able to see that it carried the center of some ancient city, with odd, pyramidal architecture. It also had a rather bizarre number of massive roots twisting through it, apparently holding it together, with glowing runes etched deeply into the wood. If you get too close, though, a voice echoes in your head. "Ah, hello there. Feel free to land, if you like. I will be quite upset if you break anything, however." The deep voice was cheerful enough, but the last portion of the sentence carried a hint of menace.....

The feminine Namekian had been meditating on the Lookout, partially to stave off the boredom of waiting for so long for the trip to Namek, especially since Earth's Guardian himself had flown off to somewhere else in the galaxy that was apparently urgently in trouble, and partially to try and think of an efficient way of training her ward, the Dragon Caste Future Guru Helix Crust in the martial arts. Her thoughts were disturbed though by the sudden appearance of a large source of energy. She sharply turned her gaze towards where she could feel... something being there.
Lusca bit her lip, wondering if she should try to investigate what it was... Especially since the Earth's Guardian was no longer around. She looked around the Lookout and judged that Helix would be safe enough here for the time being, and took off into the air to begin investigating whatever this was. As the Future Guru's protector, one of her duties was to investigate any potential threats to his well-being. And a massive surge of power close by definitely fit the category for investigation. As she got closer she could make out a massive floating structure, and as she flew closer to that, a voice began to speak in her head... one that sounded vaguely familiar.
The feminine Namekian landed carefully on the island, casting her gaze around at the sight of the place around her. "Hello? Who's here?" she called out, slowly walking around the place, taking care to not step on anything remotely breakable.

Thread PL: 129,075 x11 Qliphoth (Permanent): 1,419,825 Ki Suppression: 500,000 Stepping out from a tall, peaked doorway, Walker peered along the stone balcony. Down below, a familiar energy signature was moving around. Where had he felt that before.... Ah, yes. On the Lookout, during the meeting of the Z-Fighters. Hopping over the edge, he floated down, gliding to a rest in the courtyard Lusca had just entered, appearing behind her. "Ah, hello. Lusca, was it? I seem to recall you with the next Guru, Helix." Bowing momentarily, he frowned. He felt like he was forgetting something.
Moving around smoothly to face her, the tall tree-creature put a hand to his chin. "Is something wrong? I apologize, normally I would be on the Lookout, but I have been taking partial trips out for the past week or two." She had been meditating on the Lookout, but the two hadn't really come into contact. Also, if he recalled correctly, the last time they had met, he had his Ki suppressed to around 5,000. It wasn't surprising she was confused, in that case. 5,000 to 1.5 million was quite a jump to go to. Well, that and the flying castle.

The feminine Namekian looked towards the source of the voice, almost immediately going into a defensive stance at the sudden sound of the tree-man's voice before she recognised him. Lusca returned the bow in turn towards him. "I'm honoured you remember me sir." she said. When he asked her if something was the matter, she looked back around the place they had found themselves on.
"I had felt a sudden appearance of a massive power, and came to investigate since... well, Earth's Guardian's currently not on Earth at the moment, and I do have to try and protect Helix from any potential threat to his safety." the Warrior Caste began to explain. "A sudden appearance of a massive power would bear some investigation." she said, before then gesturing at their surroundings.
"I came across this location... and as I approached, a voice spoke into my mind warning me to not break anything as I landed, and it didn't sound that pleasant." Lusca said, finishing up her explanation. "What is this place sir? I don't recall seeing such a place before in my time in this forest." the feminine Namekian inquired of the tree-like Caretaker.

Chuckling, Walker nodded. "That was well done. It is best to be careful, and I will gladly help if a more hostile force arrives, but I commend your vigilance." Waving one hand, a large roots emerged from the ground, curving around themselves and forming a chair for the Namekian. Settling down himself, the tree sat cross legged on the ground, placing his hands on his legs, and tilting his head slightly. "Hmm. You've grown stronger since the time on the Lookout. Good. Still, you're going to need to be quite a bit stronger if you intend to protect the Guru, I hope you realize?"
He didn't mean to be cruel, certainly, but it was a legitimate concern. She was competent, at least, but even a small squad of low-class Saiyans or a single Arcosian could overcome her at the moment. Humming slightly, he looked about at the floating collection of buildings. "Ah, this?" One arm raised, and gestured, pointing about at the ancient architecture. "The surge was most likely my creation of this place, and achieving my greater form. I believe some Namekians are capable of growing their size, yes?" He mimed a small object increasing in height with one hand. Gesturing at himself, he chuckled slightly.
"My new form is... similar, but far more intimidating than my current one. Thus, I keep myself suppressed to this form for day to day operations. My full power is... perhaps a bit less than three times what I am at now." Waving his hand back and forth, he frowned. Ki sense was good for approximations, but precise numerical counts were a bit beyond his ability. Ki was constantly ebbing and flowing, like an aqueduct of energy moving through the bodies of people. It was part of the reason Ki sense was so useful, after all. Compared to the faint, complex glow of the natural world and average people, the light through a stained glass window, those with high power levels were like a bonfire.
"As for WHAT it is... I suppose you could call it a spaceship. It is capable of traveling the interstellar void, after all. An ancient place, infused with powerful magic, and protected by a barrier, I intend to use it as a citadel of sorts. Gravity chambers are quite helpful, after all, and while I take care of the Lookout, I do have some experiments that must, by necessity, take place off of it for safety reasons. I would not wish to jeopardize the home of Kami if I get something wrong."

The feminine Namekian felt a bit of pride welling up inside of her as the Caretaker commended her actions, gratefully accepting the offer of his newly grown chair. At his comments about her power, she nodded her head. "I do indeed sir. That's why I'm always wearing this weighted clothing, so I can train my body to get stronger even when I'm not training..." Lusca said, trailing off as she sighed. "But it... it feels like its not going to be enough. Not soon enough, not quickly enough. There's just too little time..." the Warrior Caste mused to herself before she focused back on listening to the Caretaker Of The Lookout's words.
At his question concerning Namekian's growing their size she nodded, although she was curious about this greater form that he had apparently achieved that was supposedly intimidating. The fact that it was three times stronger than what he was currently presenting himself as... it was definitely something to consider. She remained silent as he explained what this location was, the fact that it was apparently an organic space ship filled with magic. "Sort of like a second Lookout as it were?" inquired the feminine Namekian warrior.

"Yes, I suppose that's a reasonable way to look out at it. I was more inspired by a place that a friend of mine was building. I am not sure where she is now." Rei had apparently vanished, somewhere. He wasn't sure what had happened, but Scargot had gone as well. They apparently weren't dead, as far as anyone knew, but they were no longer present on Earth. No news had come back about them in ages. Putting a hand to his face, the tree cupped his chin for a moment, before looking to Lusca. "As for your power, all you can do is continue, never ceasing your striving to be stronger. Namek needs mighty warriors, just as much as Earth." In many ways, the planet was worse off than the human homeworld.
In Earth's case, at least they had many powerful fighters. Namek had no Vi-Poi or Kaula. Their Guru, Helix, was a pacifist. Ultimately, they would depend on others to protect them if they didn't produce any of their own. At the moment, that might be the SSE. Z-Fighters would have trouble shuttling back and forth between the two planets, and there weren't enough as it was. Quirking his eyebrow, he glanced at her. "If I had some method beyond the relatively mundane to increase your power, I would certainly do so. Sadly, the only thing I do have is essentially a Gravity Chamber." Supposedly, the leader of the Devil Knights had been able to grant portions of his power, but Walker couldn't do the same.

The feminine Namekian blushed slightly as the Caretaker of the Lookout had caught her words. "I'm sorry. I was just... vocalising my frustrations." she said, shaking her head. "Even if you had access to such a method... I feel I should not accept it." the Warrior Caste Namekian said. "If strength were to be so easily accepted and provided, then it is not your own, it is not earned. And power not earned, just given to you... it can lead to darker roads, and I dread to consider that..." said Lusca haltingly before continuing.
"To consider that I may become that which we are facing on Namek... what most when they look at me consider me to already be... a Mazoku..." she said, looking down at her blurred reflection in the tiles of the floor, nightmares playing out through her mind about that dark possibility that lurked inside her. She shook her head once more. "I apologise, I should be keeping such thoughts to myself, not burdening others with them." Lusca said, bowing her head towards the plant-like sentient being before her.

Shaking his head, Walker chuckled. "I fully understand. It is not a shame to be worried about such things. I myself face a... similar challenge." Standing up, he moved back, and spread his hands. "The Mazoku are 'Demon Namekians", yes? Well, when I was formed, the spiritual essence of several species was placed within me. One was Namekian, and the other... well." Shrugging, he hunched forward, and then threw his head back as his form suddenly swelled.
*Ki Suppression off*
His sudden rise in height was rapid, as though he was a giant mass of steam exploding from his old body's cage. Limbs swelled and expanded, and his jaw cracked open. His head was adorned with a crown of flame, and his body burned with a wild mass of Ki. "This is my form, when I increased in power. I can quite literally here my demonic energy source speaking to me on occasion, and I must be sure that I chose as I wish to, not because of any other influence." Lifting one hand, he flexed the clawed talon. "You seem eager to do what is right, and that is commendable. Do not let petty concerns cause you to stray from your path to protect the future Guru."

While Lusca and Walker were deep in conversation they would probably miss the incoming Ki signature that had been approaching from the Southeast. Mostly because Katsu had suppressed his energy down to only slightly above normal human levels. To Walker it might be the difference of a lit match and a large candle. Anyway, Katsu had been approaching in a somewhat stealthily manner because at the time he was flying in a hovercar and didn't need to exert his own Ki in order to reach the aerial fortress thing he had been aiming for.
Katsu was excited at whatever he might find when he got enough time to look the whole place over. A big Ki Signal like that was bound to be attached to something very interesting, and the chance that there was something there that Katsu could use for his own research was high. So despite whatever risk there may be Katsu was going to go out and see what he could see, take some samples, and head home again to poke and prod the samples until he could make something useful out of them. At least that was the plan anyway.
Having landed, Katsu had chosen the area farthest out from the center of the whole place, a little section that was perfect for a ship to land and also in a prime position for Katsu to flee if there was something obviously hostile. A press of a button turned the hovercar into a Hoi Poi Capsule before being returned to Katsu's pocket. Thus was it time to start exploring the island!
However Katsu didn't get very far before there was a sudden surge of Ki energy as Walker swelled to Kaiju scale, his black wooden body bursting into flames at certain points as his energy poured out. Katsu had to give a low whistle at the rather impressive sight he had been given. Instead of running away Katsu instead began jumping up the side of the mountainous island, scaling the area to reach Walker and Lusca at the upper level. Coming into view of them both Katsu would give them a two-finger salute with a loud “Yo!
“I'm Katsu, nice to meet you! I'm pretty sure you're gonna catch something on fire if you keep expelling it out of your own body. Any chance you could shrink back down? My neck hurts already trying to look up to talk to you. Also, can I get a tissue sample? I bet your flesh has dozens of secrets I could uncover with proper study!” Katsu would grin as he continued to approach the space Lusca and Walker occupied, being dressed in his labcoat and dark slacks, a par of spectacles adorning his nose...

Even though he had warned her before hand that his full power was something else to behold, when it was unleashed, she couldn't help herself. Her body reacted automatically, jumping out of the chair, bringing her staff before her in a ready stance before her mind caught up to her actions and she lowered her guard slightly. Despite his new... appearance, this being was still the Caretaker of the Lookout, and one who was on the side of good.
Just as the feminine Namekian was about to reply, a new person suddenly appeared on the scene and she brought her guard up once more, her eyes scrutinising this man even as he spoke. His words and attire informed Lusca that he thought of himself as a scientist, and he apparently desired to take parts from Walker in order to conduct tests on them for his own purposes. What he would do with those results, Lusca did not care to discover so she placed herself between this newcomer and the Lookout's Caretaker, her staff jutting out towards the scientist.
"That's close enough. You will not be experimenting with the lives of anyone here today." the Warrior Caste feminine Namekian declared, her ire already developing a distaste for this human who was just sauntering around as if he didn't have a care in the world. She couldn't figure out which part she hated most, the fact that he wanted to experiment with Walker's biology, or the fact that he was just walking up, speaking as if it were a foregone conclusion and he would get what he wanted.

Raising an eyebrow, the tree turned to look at the approaching scientist as the man chattered on. Lusca, obviously quite annoyed, was moving between the two. Raising a hand, Walker shook his head. "My friend, calm down. It will be fine." Activating his Ki Suppression, Walker let the flames and chaos die down, returning to his normal but still significant height in a smooth motion. Walking over, he stood at the third point of the triangle formed by the three people in the courtyard, looking at each of them.
"As for experimenting on my wood... I would prefer you didn't. The last people who tried that wanted to make me into a mindless warmachine, and I quite value my ability to think. It's formed a bit of a reflexive dislike of people poking at my bits, I suppose." Honestly, he wouldn't quite object so much if he thought the man would actually get anything beneficial from it. He was mostly run off magic, as far as he could tell. A mortal scientist would almost certainly not have the tools necessary to analyze it.
"Anyway, I'm being rude. Hello, Katsu. Welcome to my home." Looking over, he winked at Lusca. "As for our earlier conversation, Lusca... I still say you need to have more confidence. I started out weaker than you, and have gotten quite far through determination." Folding his arms behind his back, the tree assumed a rather relaxed position, floating in the air with the tips of his toes just above the ground. "Aside from allowing you to take a tissue sample, what can I do for you?"

Blinking a moment as Lusca suddenly got into a combat position, Katsu merely gave her a cheeky grin and a tilt of his head, looking quite creepy in that moment, “Experimenting with someone's life? Why would I do that? Such a waste. You only need a bit of material to grow a new subject to study, no need to use the whole creature. No, no, a small sample would do, like some cast off bark, although some heartwood would help me better analyze how you utilize such strong Ki energy.” Katsu would have turned to Walker as he shrunk back down to his suppressed size, listening to Walker's reluctance to provide a sample. “Ah, that's a pity. You've got so many different species melded into your DNA to, I can tell. Ah well. Another day perhaps.” Katsu would make an exaggerated sigh before grinning again, still quite at ease for the moment. “Although...Lusca, was it? You are quite an interesting looking Namekian as well. I've not seen a Namekian who looks so feminine before. Judging by your reaction to me and your stance just now I'd take it you are still of the Warrior Caste? Your body must provide some challenge to overcome in relation to other Warrior Caste, right? A smaller frame and less mass doesn't lend to great physical power, but your slender body should help your dexterity and agility over your bigger brethren...” Kneeling down Katsu would inspect the earth and grass near his position as he spoke, looking for something amongst the plantlife. With a sudden thrust of his fingers Katsu dug into the earth and pulled back, picking up a long cylindrical shape of the earth, roughly six feet in length and three inches in diameter. Holding this unwieldy looking staff in front of him a look of concentration passed across his face as the sound of dirt crunching escaped from the rod. It would begin to noticeably become thinner and more slender, taking on a near metallic sheen as Katsu crushed and compressed the clumped soil into a dense rock-like material. Pulling the staff to his face Katsu inspected it, eventually finding it worthy. With a twist of his wrist Katsu sent the staff spinning in his left hand, his fingers adeptly controlling the motion at the fulcrum, making it look completely effortless. “So as you might have guessed I am a scientist. Someone who studies things. Anything, actually. Science, Magic, Martial Arts, History...I'd gladly learn anything you have to teach me. How about you Lusca? Would you care to teach me about your Bojutsu in a spar? If you lack confidence in your ability, then practice is the best way to rectify that problem, Hmm?” Katsu slipped into a neutral stance, his right hand forward holding the staff at the center, his left drawn to the back holding the staff near the back end of the shaft, pointing the front end at Lusca in a lazy manner to show no threat, that little grin still on his face. [Word Count: 513] Used Technique/s Below. Due to this knowledge Katsu can identify most known species by their characteristics, give accurate diagnosis of various medical ailments, and provide expert level triage for just about anything that lives. Katsu can even identify the constituent donor species for Bio-Androids at a glance. This technique has little combat application beyond simply knowing one's foe, and is more a justification of Katsu's Roleplay.

As the man tried to defend his desire to experiment on the Lookout Caretaker's parts, her disdain for him only continued to grow. Even more so as he began to analyse the feminine Namekian. She gave a slight snort of derision, her eyes glaring daggers at him. "You'd be surprised." was all she'd say on the matter concerning her physical strength. When he then decided to just make himself a bo staff as well from the very earth around them, in her eyes defiling this sacred ground with his perverted science and techniques... and it definitely seemed like he was goading her on with his commentary about her lack of confidence in her ability.
Her face twisted into a darkened snarl, her antennae twitching as her nostrils flared in growing anger towards this human, who would not stop grinning! She glanced briefly towards Walker, as if asking permission to engage this human in combat, since this was the Caretakers residence that this human was defiling with his antics. If Walker gave the go-ahead, the feminine Namekian would immediately rush towards the human, her staff spinning rapidly around her as she generated momentum in it before then swinging it hard from the left side, aiming to crash it into the human's shoulder, although even if it was blocked, her staff's strike wasn't her true goal.
Utilising the momentum from her charge, after her staff's swing she would then try to go for a spinning jump kick, aiming to connect her foot with his smug little jaw. Once she was in the air, Lusca would follow it up by bringing her staff down towards the ground beneath her and jabbing it into the floor to give her a second jump from which she would then try to go for another kick, except this one would hopefully be her legs slamming down into his shoulders, which if successful would then try to wrap around his head in a lock as she used her descending weight to try and force the man to the ground.

Shrugging, the caretaker looked at Katsu, then back at Lusca. "Go ahead, I suppose." The scientist seemed to be willing to fight, and he'd step in if anything got too intense. Besides, this might be good for the Namekian. They seemed to be rather down on themselves, and he'd always found a good fight an excellent method to clear his head. Sitting back in the air, he rested in the grasp of his Ki, watching the pair as the Guru's guardian went on the offensive. Intriguingly enough, it seemed as though the Namekian was far more skilled than they claimed.
Rather than random punches, kicks or blows, the fighting was actual martial arts, tight and refined with little wasted movement. Ki was merely a measure of power, not of skill. While Lusca may not have had as much of the former, there was plenty of the latter evident as they ducked, wove, and spun, limbs striking out at Katsu.
"Oh, that reminds me. I'd appreciate it if you put that back later, Katsu. A 6 foot hole in the ground of my house is not entirely convenient, and..." He paused, and frowned. "Oh dear. It seems you disturbed some of the runes. Not enough to destabilize the place, but I'll have to fix that later." On the side-lines, a glowing green figure appeared, looking like some sort of indistinct armored minotaur. He frowned, and shook his head at the pair. "Wonderful. Which one of these two just put a hole in my nervous system, Walker?"
