Name:
Whelk
Alias: N/A
Species:
Namekian - Warrior Caste
Gender:
Male
Age:
28
Appearance:
Whelk has a typical Namekian appearance, green skin, an antenna, and pink patches on his body. He prefers to where a dark blue color as it brings out his light blue eyes, the only part of his appearance he truly enjoys. Due to a large scar received on his forehead when he was young, Whelk wears a headband that covers his entire head, it allows for his antenna to poke through the top though. He is tall for a Namekian, standing at roughly six feet and six inches, but he is also very lanky. This appearance causes him to look weak but it is deceiving as he is actually quite fit.
History:
Whelk was fathered by a Warrior Caste Namekian, Whist, an exiled warrior. A once revered warrior among Namekians, Whist was shunned from the warrior clan after he betrayed a group of warriors on a peace mission. He was spared death due to his past actions in battle but was not allowed to return. Growing bored alone, he created multiple children so that he would have company, but his desires were sinister in nature.
Whelk was the youngest, but only by a few minutes, of his five brothers. From a very young age he was taught to fight and grew very close with his brothers. Not the smartest, the strongest, or the fastest, Whelk had to outsmart his brothers so that he could best them in battle. Always desiring to prove themselves to their father, their camaraderie quickly dissolved into rivalry as they grew older.
The constant need to be better than his other brothers pushed Whelk to better himself every day. Because he lacked the skill of his other brothers he was forced to train harder than them. He would wake at the earliest hours of the morning and train until late into the night. When the children turned ten years old Whist revealed that he would only continue to train one of the children. A brawl ensued and the five brothers fought each other to the death. The battle was long and arduous but Whelk was the sole survivor.
For the next few years Whelk completed his training and grew to resent Whist for making him kill his brothers. Thoughts of revenge slowly crept into his head and his anger motivated him to train harder. When he was fifteen years old Whelk betrayed his father as he slept. Growing tired of living under his rule, Whelk killed Whist in his sleep, and after he sought out the Warrior Clan on the planet Namek.
It was not easy to reintegrate back into society, he was shunned as an outcast at first, but for his age he proved to be a powerful warrior. Whelk did not make friends easily but he did develop a reputation that he subtly let spread. Admittedly, Whelk added to the rumors, planting the seed into their heads that he had murdered his brothers and fathers among other rumors. After awhile the legend grew until some of the other Namekians his age thought he was a prophecy child. ( A rumor he again started. )
Whelk strives to be the best and one day hopes to lead the Warrior Caste. He is a hard worker who believes that hard work pays off. Despite his stoic appearance, Whelk is very pragmatic, willing to sacrifice the lives of others to accomplish a goal. Though he is willing to sacrifice the lives of others he is not afraid to throw himself into danger if the situation requires it. Because of this he can be viewed as evil because of his lack of response to otherwise morbid situations.
Starting Planet: Homeworld unless otherwise stated.
Techniques:
Offensive
[N1] Anarchy Shot ( Based on the Scatter Shot ) - Whelk swings his arms apart and charges an energy sphere in each hand. Then, he yells "Anarchy Shot!" as he fires multiple energy spheres against the opponent, inflicting a huge amount of damage.
[UP2] Anarchy Shot ( Based on the Scatter Shot ) - Whelk swings his arms apart and charges an energy sphere in each hand. Then, he yells "Anarchy Shot!" as he fires multiple energy spheres against the opponent, inflicting a huge amount of damage.
Support
[SU] Flight - Whelk manipulates his ki energy so that he can levitate or fly.
Ki Sense [SU]: The ability to sense the location, life force, and power level of anyone; the stronger and closer the enemy, the more powerful the sensation.
Transformations:
Great Namek [x4] - Namekians can expand their bodies to skyscraper heights, increasing weight, durability and strength and yielding a 4x increase in power. A dragon/mazoku clansman may learn this ability at the expenditure of a technique slot. As a dragon clansman becomes older, though, they seem to naturally become this gigantic form, though they no longer are in fighting condition. However, their power is grown permanently once they reach this ancient age. Unlike the other transformations, this is a transformation technique, meaning that if the Namekian wishes to have this form, they must learn it.
