The Diablo Desert was a place that Aina had avoided for most of her life. Yet now it was a part of her training. Running for miles upon miles within the deserts relentless heat. Many markers where there of soldiers who had used this course before in the past. So here she was in the middle of the day her body wrapped within an all white version of her usual battle attire as she wanted the material weight to be the same as it would be on a normal day for her. As she travelled however she could not shake the feeling that there was others within the desert. Others that where strong and hiding out here in order to keep themselves hidden away from the rest of the world unless they where needed. Yet this feeling would come and go so she was able to pay it little mind as she ran. Yet the voice from deep within herself was one she could not fully ignore. :: S..top ignoring… my help… If you.. you listened to me… we could be out exploring the galaxy… fighting… slavers like you did… :: She shook her head as she focused on running once more. Placing one foot in front of the other as she continued trudging through the sands before her. With each and every step she could swear she felt the ‘goddess’ within herself attempting to draw energy from her body. Which brought out a bit of anger from the young Kagami. Slamming her foot down her ki flared around herself as she seemed agitated and spoke out loudly. “Stupid so called goddess…. You are nothing but a parasite if this is what you have to do to survive. Just drawing my energy and holding me back from doing my own thing. I am an Earthling more than I am some stupid alien. I may be a Kagami by heritage but that does not mean I want any part of this damndable head messaging stuff. “ Turning she kicked at a large pillar of sandstone that had been beside her as she had started arguing with the goddess within her head. This was something she did not want. She did not want a voice within her head and she wondered how this being had manifested itself within her mind when she had not asked for it nor did something to invite it in. Her foot lingered at the place on the pillar she had kicked as she felt it quake and begin to move toward the ground. {{ Emer}}

How long had it been? Emer couldn't even remember now, it had been several years since he had come to earth. He had meet quiet a few interesting people, especially a few that he had considered his enemies. Such as the saiyans, and those that had claimed to be a half breed such as Ninjin. Or that one in which was called Pieter... These memories flooding back to Emer where welcomed, but at the same time... It had been a nightmare in a way... Cause he could barely keep out his own memories, from those that Mimikku had given him before. That was the bad thing of sharing memories, you kept them forever... You couldn't just get rid of them like that, they slowly became your own memories. As if you had lived them, and not the other way around. Suddenly a spike of Ki forced Emer out of his trance.
Opening his eyes from his spot within the soft desert sand, the bright sun flared down on top of him brightly. The warmth from the sun had sparked in his laziness today. He had no reason to continue fighting as of yet... Everything around him had been destroyed recently due to the saiyan invasion. If there had been people on this earth to drive them back... Then maybe he didn't have to strain himself anymore. That was when Irith began to speak within his head. 'EMER!' She suddenly shouted, causing the Kagami to groan slightly as he sat up. 'Damn you're loud within my head today Irith.' If Emer could see Irith, he bet she would be blushing right about now, because she hadn't meant to be that loud. Especially with a power so close. It's not like he hadn't sensed the approaching presence, as it contained what one could describe as a Kagami's goddes.
But at the same time, the power was diluted, and broken down. As if it had been weakened through exercise, one would have to train to suppress the goddess within them. But, this wasn't a natural suppression. It felt odd, that's when it hit him with full force. The part that seemed off, this Ki that he was feeling belonged to a saiyan... That couldn't be right, a saiyan shouldn't have a goddess within them. Gritting his teeth together Emer stood up, his body still sore from what had happened to him, the fight with his old ally and commander, really had done a number to him. Suddenly disappearing from his current position and to the source of the power, he moved quickly for someone so huge. He got there just in time as the woman began to kick down a rock pillar. She didn't seem to notice the Giant behind her.
If she turned around, she'd see a giant of a man. Standing somewhere at seven feet and ten inches. While, his body was covered in scars like a map, the only place on his body that hadn't been strucked, was the Right side of his chest, which was left unmarked, mostly as his heart resided on that side. Instead of his left. There had been plenty of scars there, revealing people have tried to go for the sudden kill, by piercing his heart before. He was missing an arm, his hair changing colors as the sun shined down on him. Bandages covered part of his body, while the lower half was covered up with some loose fitting black pants. His eyes glowed a dark red as he looked down, it was strange sensing a goddess coming from a filthy monkey. His teeth gritting roughly against one another.
"What the hell is this... Why is there a filthy ape, with a goddess inside of them.." His voice was barely audible, but the tone was that of ice, enough to make anyone that had known him before, flinch an cringe. It was the tone he had gotten when he had been serious. The tone in which he almost brought himself to destroying the earth. But... What is with this... Why was there a saiyan possessing something treasured by Kagami... Had they finally stepped past all the final boundaries, making a kagami sign the contract with one of their own... It was... Annoying... It was... Betrayal on a deeper level... It was an anger he had never felt before. Irith could feel this, sending out a warning of her own, to the person in front of Emer... He wasn't standing directly behind her, but it was a distance he could close easily if he wanted... The warning, would alert the young girl, as it'd almost feel as if, a cold chill went down her spine.

Aina would turn to look at the giant of a man. The towering man brought her instantly to her guard but not to the daggers that would gleam in the sunlight as she moved ever so slightly. Her own demeanor was one of surprise and yet quiet observation as she listened to Emer boom out his obviously angry question. The chill of the question and the way it was spoken was a shot down her spine. It felt like someone had taken a dagger of hers and hit her just perfectly in the spine. Inside of her mind she heard Avacyn screaming at her about how he has a similar feeling within him and she closed her eyes tightly. Under her breath Emer would hear her speak. “Quiet you… I do not need your advice to sense that this man has that same power… Now shut up…”
As she collected herself it was obvious how incomplete this was. As if the goddess itself was just barely holding on to the woman who looked up at Emer. Who Emer might see a very easy resemblance to someone else he knew in her look and demeanor. “If you can sense her then maybe you can help me more than that woman who appeared one day claiming to be my mother. I want to silence this voice in my head as it is nothing if not incessant to me doing what she wants and not what must be done. She talks about being peaceful when peace is but a lie. Or at least I think that is what this voice is saying… It is so garbled I can barely understand it half the time and the other half I just swear I am going insane because of it. The enemies of this planet the saiyans need to die or be crushed enough so that they never expect to return here. Those that live on this planet can stay so long as they do not threaten my home but those in space right now… To me they are worthless and need to be slain to the last…”
Her words had venom behind them as if the very recent war had triggered a hatred within herself about these invaders. As she spoke her left hand would rest just above the ki dagger on her hip. To someone like Emer he would recognize the military stance and styling of the girl who would appear to be no more than a few years older than him. That and her armor would have the distinctive BBA patch on her right shoulder.

Irith sending a message through Emer quickly, talking about how this woman was slowly killing out the goddess within her by not allowing them to gather the energy it needed. This girl began to talk to herself, muttering something about not needing the goddess within her, to sense that Emer had the same power. A small scoff came from the man as he reached down with his hand. If only for a second he would release his old power once again... The last time he did that... It had nearly blown his party apart... But this girl... Spoke about her mother... It couldn't be, even if the similarity was there... This girl seemed to be a bit older than him. But she was slowly killing herself without knowing it. When a Kagami is stripped from the goddess, and if they do it their selves, they are practically killing themselves. Irith pinged Emer as a warning not to do it. Letting it slide slightly... His anger still among him... That a filthy ape had the power of his race.
The girl spoke about the Goddess as if it was an annoyance, when it was all the Kagami had now. His power flared to what it had once been, gritting his teeth, before cutting it off, the dirt around him and the girl, flew in several different directions, His eyes not showing the pain that it had caused him. But the over whelming power from the Kagami, and his goddess filled the air... "You do not understand. The voice, speaks to let you know of dangers. It helps you grow stronger... Listen to it... If not you're going to die. It needs your power to stay alive, without it, you're going to kill yourself." He said letting his arm drop to his side, as the womans hand continued to sit on her dagger. The uniform looked just like you'd see on a military person.
A small tsk came from Emer. "But it doesn't matter to me, you're doing me a favor by killing yourself suffocating that goddess... When she dies, your own life force is going to go with her." He said turning his back towards the girl. It probably didn't make much sense to her... Especially since it was sudden, but she probably could feel that this man wasn't lying... If she continued to cut off the goddess, and it died... She'd probably follow suit shortly after. "If you think, the goddesses are something to mock at, then you better learn to become stronger on your own... Because that is where our strength comes from is their own spirit." He said with a small hint of disgust, knowing that his own strength came from something so... Unworldly.
The tall Kagami started to head back towards the small sand dune that he had been staying at for the time. "Sides... Sooner or later you're going to die. You're too weak to fight the saiyans, So I suggest that you forget about it. Because, you can't even sense that you're killing yourself." His voice was cold and dark... Something inside of him was slowly pulling towards the girl... He had lost Alith, when he died... Or nearly died, if it wasn't for Irirth sacrificing her own daughter to keep the man alive... Emer might no longer be here... It's sad that he owed his current life to the goddess residing with him. But to Aina, it probably felt as if he was insulting her. Because the tone he used, was almost similar to as if he was referring to a small child. One in which he was scolding.

As the dirt burst forth she did not blink nor reel away from Emer despite the show of power. In her time within the BBA she had come across many that where light years ahead of herself in power. This was just another person who had the same fortune as the others did. She was going to stand there resolute despite everything buffering against her. “It warns me… and helps me… I take it the one inside of your own head is telling you these things as well? Like the voice is trying to tell me right now. I hear it fragmented like an old recording. Something about truth and mother. Whatever that means.”
Though as Emer spoke about how her life force was tied into the goddess inside Aina felt a slight moment of shock. As she had called it a parasite before, but she had no idea just how far the parasite could of developed within her psyche. To her nothing made sense but as he turned her back to her she could not help but feel an urge to follow him. To follow about ten or so paces behind him back over the dune. “I speak this way because I know nothing of what this is supposed to be… Many thought of the girl on the streets as a red eyed freak who heard voices and was more than likely insane. Yet I survived while many of those humans did not. I am a survivor… I always have been and will continue to survive. “
“As for fighting them and dieing… Well to die for my home and kill those bastards at the same time would be a good death for me. There is naught a saiyan alive that I have met other than a select few that I do not deem worthy to live. For some reason I get the feeling that this might be a shared sentiment. “ Despite his own insults being hurled at the girl she did not care. It was just another slight that she just let fall off of her back. The usual tepid insults would do that to her as she had lived on her own scratching and clawing to just survive to the next day for so long that she paid word no mind. Action was all she would be insulted by.

Emer still had his back to the girl as he walked away. His words seemed to have shocked her slightly, as she began to follow him. It was annoying. "This voice within my head, doesn't alert me to things anymore. I've practically do it on my own now... As we've developed a bond that is considered almost like family in a way. Even if we fight a lot." His voice still cold towards the girl. She began to speak of the humans, and about how she had remained stronger than them, and clawed her way out to live. A small scoff came from the man. "It's unfair to compare yourself to them... Mostly because you're not a human. You're a saiyan like those you despise." His words cold to the woman.. That symbol though... BBA... It had been something Emer had seen before... But just where has he seen it?
When she spoked about the voice talking about the Truth, and the word Mother made Irith nearly cry within his own head. Flinching in a bit of pain because of her being so loud within his head, Emer let a small growl escape to warn Irith as she went quiet. "As far as Truth, I think its referring to what I'm saying about how you're killing yourself. As far as mother goes... I host the spirit of the original goddess Irith... She's created all of the other goddesses within the Kagami... As she's split herself into several forms... Calling them her daughters.." He said continuing to walk away... But it seemed this girl was intent on following him... Just what in the world did she want. But it was pretty obvious... She wanted to learn to control the spirit within her. To be able to understand what it wanted. Emer could understand that.
Turning his attention back to her the tall Kagami stopped moving for jut a second as he turned his red eyes to her. Within a second he was standing right in front of her. Her eyes would probably be about his navel area, if not lower as he moved so quickly it was strange for someone of his size. She probably had little time to react. "I'll tell you what, Dying is not worth the time it takes from you. Everything that you have ever known, cease to exist as you die. And what do you gain from it? Nothing but loneliness and pain. Pain you have never felt before... You think you've had it rough? Do you wanna experience what it's like to have a bad time? Do you even come close... To the pain that I have suffered? Dying isn't a pleasure... It's an annoyance, if you die without achieving what you want? Then what was the point of fighting?"
His words cold, and hitting like a brick he continued. "Not only that, you have to be positive that is what you want. In order to continue doing what you do, if you falter in your path, then it was not the right one for you. I don't care what or who you are, but in front of me, your problems are all but extinct. You talk about wanting to learn to control the goddess? Then it starts by making a connection with them. The ritual for this is painful... It almost leads to death... Half the time you don't even survive connecting with them... I've had two implanted into me... It nearly made my body tear itself apart. Just one... Is painful enough to make anyone wish for death." His eyes starred down at the girl before he looked out into the desert, she could see that his eyes where distant. "Your mother, probably didn't even explain the ritual... Because she probably didn't want you suffering the pain... but she also didn't know that it'd cause your death suppressing it for so long... As she was captured by the saiyans at a young age... And grew up with them. And not the Kagami."

The steps behind him where still lighter than expected as she followed. The sand barely registering the fact she was moving along behind him. Though as he spoke about her being a saiyan her eyes narrowed toward him. She was not all to happy to be mentioned that there was a chance she was one of the monsters. As to her she was an Alien of that she had no doubt any longer. Yet she could not find it within herself to accept that she was a saiyan. “I cannot accept that fact. I will not accept that I am from their stock…”
His explanation was given to her about why the voice was calling to her mother as she had. If it was truly like this then things would begin to fall into place. Though as he turned and moved int close in an instant her hand would move to her dagger’s hilt and would have it out as he had come instantly in front of her. The blade would be inside of her hand as he stopped and spoke once more. Speaking about death so personally that she felt the very pain of what he spoke coursing out of him. If she did not know any better she would of sworn that the man before her had passed on once before and had returned to the land of the living. Yet she knew that no one returned from the dead like that. “I doubt I have suffered as you have. As your body from what I can see looks like a Frakenstein’s monster patchwork of stitching and the fact you are wrapped in gauze in many places tells me that the wounds upon your body never heal. Even my untrained eye can see that I can only imagine what you feel…”
Despite his fast and yet cold words she had spoken out a response to the giant. Her own words not meek nor shrinking any despite the mountain of a man in front of her. Their eyes met for a brief moment until she watched him gaze up and out into the desert. She was curious as to why he would do that yet he heard his tone shift if only slightly. Shifting softer than the words that had been directed toward her and yet had a slight annoyance held within its tone. Listening to him she felt as if there would be words between him and this Mimikku in the future. “Pain is fleeting… It is something that you have to bear in order to become stronger. I can see that you a veritable giant is not toppled by what I can assume is an unbearable pain that you suffer through daily. What type of person would I be should I not be able to bear the pain? I am a soldier… one who fights for this planet and I will continue to fight for this planet no matter the pain I have inflicted on me. So this ritual… What exactly would it entail?”
As she asked she moved her hand that held the dagger back down and to its sheath upon her side. Snapping the clasp back in place as she did not flinch in his presence. To her it was odd to not show even the slightest bit of fear but for some reason she felt a slight bolster to herself as she stood there before her. As if someone was helping her stand before him.

Emer stood there for a moment listening to the girl, as she spoke about how she couldn't accept that she was part of the saiyans. A small scoff came from the man, as he looked down at the girl once again. It seemed that she really despised them... Apparently this invasion has made some of the saiyans revolt against their own kind. Though she was still a Kagami in some regards... But the fact that she was a filthy ape at the same time, caused mix feelings from Emer. But it was when he was speaking of pain, that she caught even the giant male by surprised. Most would claim that they know pain, that they know what it's like to suffer. but she pointed out his body, talking about how it had looked like a patchwork project. And compared it to something he didn't even know about, but sounded interesting.
A small smirk appeared on his face as she began to speak about the pain he was going through. Looking down at his own body for a moment. He couldn't exactly explain it... But he wasn't really feeling the pain from the open wound, no in fact his pain tolerance had become so high, that he hadn't really felt it anymore. Turning his attention back to the young woman in front of him he spoke. "No... It's not as you say, the pain I can't feel it anymore. It's as if the nerve endings I've had, built up so much tolerance, that I just don't feel it anymore... But.. that's the only way I can explain it." If it wasn't for the man saying it as he looked, most would claim it as a bluff. But to her, it could probably be the truth in more ways than one.
Reaching down Emer put his hand on the girl head before rubbing it like a childs. It was something Mimikku had told him to do at one point. It calmed people down slightly, but it also allowed them to relax as his only hand was on them. Meaning he posed less of a threat. "At any rate, the pain I bare... Is beyond that of a normal realm. If it wasn't for you not being contracted, I'd allow you to see my memories... But, doing so without the ritual being done... Would kill you. However if I showed you all the pain I have felt, all my memories, and all my desires while doing the ritual. It may keep you alive, because the pain you'd feel from my memories, would replace the pain you felt, of the goddess coming into your body." He said giving her something to think about before he removed his hand and began to walk away.
Though cshe had asked what the ritual had entailed, Emer was already at the front of his cave before turning and looking at her. "That's something you may not want to experience. As being part saiyan, you may not even need the ritual. You might just need to rely on that other side of yours." He said with a small scoff... He didn't particularly care to do a ritual for anyone... Even if he knew what it entailed. Without saying anything more, Emer walked into his cave. Sitting down and removing the gauze from his body. If she perhaps continued to follow him. Even with the cold serration of words he used, she could probably now see every scar in detail. Every trace of where he had been wounded. Burned, cut, pierced, slashed, torn, ripped. It all laid in the open for her to see. His body really did look like a patchwork.

“Then you are like I was when I grew cold when I was young. The Northern Capitol of this world was not a very welcoming place during the winters we have. To the point where it would grow so cold on some nights that at certain points the cold feeling would just slip away from your body and you would not feel it anymore…” Her response would make sense to Emer in the regards of he understood what the goddesses could do for someone. To help regulate their body and to keep the host from dying at the detriment to themselves at times. Which by the way she would of described it the goddess within her had done in the past. She though only knew that with the way he had spoken of the pain and all of that. It meant that he had to be speaking the truth to her. There was just a gut feeling that she was going to follow on this.
She felt the giant’s only hand rest of her head. While normally she might freak out at this motion she remembered that he had but the single hand. So there was a slight wave of relief through her as she listened to him speaking about sharing memories and she raised an eyebrow. “Share memories? What do you mean? Can you even do that? And it would replace my own memories… What do you mean?”
It was obvious that the sheer thought of doing that had confused the Hybrid as she lifted her head to look at him as he pulled him arm back. Raising a hand up she pushed her hair back as she watched him take a step or two away from her as she followed him in lock step. “Lets just humor myself and say I am half saiyan. I would not ever want to have anything to do with that side of myself… If this goddess is a part of the other heritage that created me then I want to connect with it. Learn what I can about the Kagami people as have said you are… or what this voice just called you in my head.”
She was inside of the cave as he began to remove the gauze that had been carefully placed around himself. To her eyes it had looked like someone had cared a deal for the giant as he removed the gauze and none of the areas of the gauze stuck to any of the obviously wounded sections of his skin. To her it was a miracle for him to not have pieces of his skin come sliding off with that. “Well… I did not think that how I described you earlier would be an accurate depiction.”
For some reason she felt as others might of seen this side of Emer before and had become physically ill if not worse as she moved to take a seat upon the floor across from him. “Though you never answered. What does the ritual entail?” She was going to be persistant in this. As if this was a way to get in touch with her Kagami side then she would do it. To push away the saiyan side of herself she would do without hesitation.

Emer sat there for a moment, cleaning the bandages off in a small pail of water as he kept his eye on the girl, as she swung around in front of him, she spoke about how the cold would fade from her body. That must of been the work of her goddess, sacrificing the little power she had in order to keep her host alive. A small shake of his head cleared the thought from his head when he began to think how many times Irith had saved him. That's when the girls words came back into his mind... She was somewhat like her mother... The woman was stubborn... Maybe that was just all females... Nai had been that way, Ninjin was that way... Mimikku, Wyntre, all of them had been the same. Though some more arrogant than the other. It still didn't make sense to him in some regards.
When she spoke about the Goddess in her mind, and what it had called him. He cleared his throat..." Well what it may have called me, as you said Mother lacks it's description. As it's referring to the goddess residing within me. As I clearly lack the parts... To be a mother." He said with a small sense of dry humor. It was the first time, she could tell that he wasn't so harsh right now. Thinking up of all his old friends, had brought his mood back to a safer state. One in which he almost sounded like a warm creature. One in which possessed no hatred. But if she hadn't heard how he was talking before, she probably could of been fooled by this sudden way of speaking. Thinking that he was actually a kind being, if she had meet him in this state, instead of the dark man he was.
That's when she began thinking of focusing on the Kagami side... And wanting to humor her through saying that she was indeed a half saiyan. Looking up from his bandages he stared at the girl right into her eyes. His voice still soft, but returning back to what it had been a second ago. "Well... If that's the case, then you should listen to that voice more often. Don't talk to it in front of others, you can talk to it, by thinking in your head. It can understand you, without you talking aloud." He said with a small smile before reaching down for a clean bandage and began to wrap it around his other arm. When she mentioned about what she had used to describe him earlier, he let a small laugh escape, which would probably surprise her, that such a creature could laugh. "You know... I think you may be right, I'm in my own class of patchwork."
Thats when she brought up the ritual again. A small sigh seemed to escape from Emer as he looked back up at the girl. "I will say this... You don't want to continue with this discussion. The ritual is held when you're young. When you first begin your steps, when you first began to speak your words. The ritual is done in the birthday suit. One in which you wear till the coming of age. In which you get your first hunting outfit." His voice trailing off about the past slightly as he cleared his head and went back to wrapping his bandage. "As it is, you might focus on the other party of you... Otherwise you might just lay bare in front of a man you've never meet in your life." He said with a bit of a smirk. Trying to scare her off, to get her out of his cave. No sensible person would stick around after hearing that.

Aina actually let out a light chuckle to the attempt at dry humor from Emer. She found it legitimately funny as she pulled a whetstone from a small pack on her belt and set it on the ground before herself. Reaching down she undid the holster on the pair of daggers she had swinging the belt around and setting it on the ground before her. Though the way that he talked she felt that this would be a much more pleasant side of the man to get to know then the brooding monster she had encountered out inside of the sands. Yet she saw that it was only for a brief moment as the other side of himself came back up. “I can talk to them without… Ok I understand. Do not speak with them in front of others. I take it that is to make it appear that we are not instantly crazy?”
She as attempting to keep the feeling lighter within the cavern that she found herself in front of than it had been while out on the sands. When he laughed she was caught a little off guard but it brought a wide smile to her face. As to have him show that yes he was in fact not just a machine born of and completely driven by hatred and attempting to find revenge for something. As he spoke about her not wanting to continue the discussion she raised her eyebrow once more. It was not until he spoke of it as if the Kagami where still hunter gatherers upon some forgotten planet she tilted her head at him. Though as he drifted off she was about to check to make sure he was alright before she heard him continue. “Wait I would have to… Why would I have to strip down to nothing? This suit I wear is already skin tight… Wait what do you have to do during the ritual…”
She began rambling rather quickly as a bright red sheen crossed her face. Aina was not a shy woman by any stretch of the imagination because of her being a solitary woman within the Elite ranks she was. She had seen and done plenty over the years but this thought brought the scarlet blush to her face. Yet she was not leaving the cave despite the obvious connotations to what it was he had said. As despite his intentions this brought up her interest more. “I… do want to hear what all you would have to do. I am not some squeamish Church Girl that would instantly go running when told that they would have to be naked. I am a soldier who has had to do that before superior officers in the past in order to be decontaminated after going through places normal people would hate to be.”
Looking at him she leaned forward placing her elbows upon her knees as she looked straight at him. Despite the crimson upon her face she was going to be bound and determined to get the answer to these questions out of him.

Emer sat there for a moment as he watched the girl in front of him, he could see the bright smile appear on his face when he had laughed. It was something he wasn't expecting, he had never made anyone smile in front of him. But here she was smiling at his laughter. When she spoke about being insane in front of others he laughed quietly. "No, I don't care what others think of me, but there's some things you discuss with the goddess, that others don't need to know about... It's simply just an invasion of privacy on the goddesses part, as you're allowing everyone to get somewhat of a clue of what you're talking about to them." He said as he finally finished the bandage around his arm. This took a lot longer than what he was intending, but due to how stiff his body was it wasn't a surprise.
A small smile appeared on his face when she was caught off guard, she began rambling in front of him. So it seemed that she was still a girl after all. As the fact of getting undressed in front of someone was very unflattering... But she spoke of how she had to do it as a solider. If only he had to just strip down when he was a solider... But more happened to him, that could be discussed later if he decided to bring it up. Turning his attention back to the girl, he reached down in the pail to pull out another bandage, before wrapping it around his lower abdomen. "Well, you seem to be flustered. I warned you that you didn't want to continue to pry about it... But it seems you're determined to find out what it is." He said with a hint of secrecy in his words.
When she asked about what he would have to do in this ritual. He almost felt like teasing her by saying he'd have to screw her. But that wouldn't be funny at this point. As he had already brought up that it was done when you're young. "Basically, I draw on you with Ki, retracing the Ki flow within your body, and then to you soul... So that you can talk to your goddess. It'll connect both of you as one... It's basically connecting your life force together, and then the final part, is connecting the memories together, which is done through tracing the flow of life throughout the body. So... It's a very long process, one in which is painful as I've already said. But to draw on a full grown person, takes a lot longer than a small kid." He said with a small laugh.
She continued to stare at him, her hands resting on her knees. The Kagami looked down at her for a moment, his eyes locked into hers before he couldn't help but laugh. "Even though you claim to have done things as a solider. Your face betrays you, it's red, more of a pink flush. But it's funny to see. As you are embarrassed, but who wouldn't at your age. For a sudden man just to tell you, that'd you would just have to randomly strip in front of him" He said with a more serious tone towards the end, as he finished placing the bandage around hi abdomen, it seemed the herbal water was slowly helping close the wounds within his body. "At any rate, it takes a lot longer, the bigger a person is. I was the longest going ritual for any Kagami for my height and size as a child."
He said thinking about the old times. "And, to top it off I almost died because it lasted so long. I had no clue the pain this world had to offer until that moment... And even then I cringed, cried, yelled, kicked, scratched, begged to be released... Lucky for you, I can probably knock you out, during the ritual with my own memories of pain, the shock of the sudden memories would render you in a state of emotionless, that'd allow for the process to go smoothly for me at least... However, you'd live through my experiences, you will not be the same once it ends. You'll have my own memories embedded into you. Normally you would have it done by those that care for you, so you have their memories forever. Not some stranger."

"Well that makes a lot of sense. I mean it is true that there are only things I would like to keep to myself within my own head. So I can see wanting to keep things private with your goddess..." Responding once more to the male Kagami she kept the smile up and going as this mysterious stranger had slowly been turning into someone she was enjoying her time with. Watching his practiced hands with the bandages she was about to offer her assistance as he finished off tying off the gauze and setting it. As he mentioned her getting flustered it exaservated the situation as she brought a hand to her face and half shielded it from Emer.
"Just because i am a sldier does not mean I am not still a woman after all. And if I was not taking this as serious as I was I would swear you where trying to get me naked to sleep with me." As she spoke the last bit she smiled at him her own sense of deadpan humor kicking directly at Emer. She was hoping to illicit a laugh or at least another smile from the male Kagami. Then began his explanation and the look upon his face became serious. Her face mimicked Emers in the moment. As she knew that this had to be a serious topic as it sounded like it would be hard.
Listening to how he described it she nodded to him. It was something that she would have to think about. As it sounded to her that it was something that was absolutely irreversable after it was done to her. Though he brought up the memories thing once more. This brought her eyebrow up once more. He would share with her his experiences and everything else. It seemed to her that he was hiding something inside of this words. "These memories... I take it would show me everything you have done and experienced. All the moments of your life... like..."
She pointed at his non existant arm as she took a deeper breath as she was inwardly thinking to herself. :: Aina... listen.. him... could... help... :: She heard her goddess slip up and whisper to her as she could understand it. Yet she felt a desperation in the voice of the one within. A pain she could not deny nor ignore anymore. This pain was one that she had felt at one time in the past. It was a yearning to connect with someone. To be accepted and embraced by someone. Closing her eyes she took in another deep breath and released it. :: I... will listen to him fully. Then I will decide... ::
Opening her eyes she looked directly at him. "If I agree to this could you have someone else here? Just to hold my fears in check."

Emer sat there for a moment, as he looked at her. It seemed this child in front of him, was dead set determined on hearing this through. A small nod came from him, when she spoke about how she does like having her own privacy with her thoughts within her mind. It only made sense that others would like to have that same privacy. Reaching down for another bandage he pulled it up to his chest and began to wrap it around the top, using the stub of his arm that remained, He was certainly practiced when it came to putting the bandages on his own. When she began to mention something about being a solider again. Those memories where slightly unpleasant for him to remember. But there was some fun times in those memories. Though when she remarked about him doing it to get her naked, just to sleep with her.
A small smile appeared on his face as he focused on the bandage. "I'll tell you what, if I ever laid with you, I don't think you'd look at me the same again. You might expect a bit to much from me with just one arm, and a body as damaged as this one." His words where a joke in a way... But they seemed to have a little truth behind him. What could this man do, in the state he was currently in? He was covered in wounds and other things, with the bandages covering them. He was missing one arm, so how hard would it be for him to give his partner everything he or she would want? Though that was a discussion he should save for another time. He remembered feeling what Mimikku had felt during the time, cause their wounds had mixed that night, the stab her had given her, and his own bodily wounds.
That's when the girl had gotten serious like he had, when he brought up the memories. Looking at where she was pointing he nodded slightly. "Yes you'd even get to see and feel how that felt. It'd be as if you where in my position, you would feel those pain with your own mind. If you're not strong enough to withstand those memories, than it is possible that you'll end up dying, when I share them with you... Let's just say, a snake woman one time, took my memories, and nearly died herself, when she bought my contract from the saiyans." He said with a soft laugh before standing up all the bandages had been put back clean, and refreshed in the herbal water, as he walked over to his small bed, in which he made up with his cloak as he lied down on it.
"As for answering you, It'd be to dangerous with another person. There'd be another life force, should they touch you, or even bump into me while I'm doing the procedure. Then your soul will also flow with that life force, instead of with mine and your goddess. Basically what will happen, is you'll become like that guys in white at the asylum. You won't even be able to say your own name, if the practitioner wasn't able to separate the two life forces from your own. I suggest you go find your mother, she may be able to help you better than I can. That is if you can trust her. She'll have my memories on how to do it, but she'll probably be scared. Because the motions are memories, but they aren't programmed into her daily functions like it was for me... Being the Elders Grandson and all... Crazy old bat of a woman." He said with a small laugh.

She laughed at his response to her joke. The fact that it showed that this man had a lighter side to himself brought out the usually hidden side of the woman. The side she keeps blocked up by bravado and the mystique most in the units of the BBA and frmer Earth Military held for her. Catching the smile brought that feeling to the forefront for her. "Well maybe you might earn that chance someday. For now though let us just use our imaginations for that..."
Smiling at him before the serious nature of things crossed her mind. Listening to him explain what would happen to her if he did indeed give her the memories. It sounded painful and all that. Yet she felt like she was wanting to do this. It was somoething deep down inside of herself. Something primal was telling her to do it and it was not within the voice she had heard earlier. It was as if a piece of herself was missing and this would regain that piece. Her head lifted and watched him move about the room and over to his bed.
She was about to speak as he spoke back up and she closed her mouth. Understanding him completely as she nodded toward Emer. "I understand that. I could easily see why that would be difficult to you to be able to maintain the ritual and if it malfunctioned it would be bad for all involved. As I figure that there would be a chance the person who bumped into you would have a chance to have their life drained and placed into the person whom you are performing the ritual on. Causing undue pain upon the both of them. As for... wait my mother has the memories? How would she have the memories. How is it that you send these memories to someone?"
She was curious as it seemed to be something that she was serious about doing as she had continued to remove extrenous pieces of her gear setting it all inside of a neat pile as she watched him with her eyes.
