"Milac... wake up!" he heard a voice calling to him. His eye's opened wide and he gasped, coming out of a terrifying nightmare. Before him was one of the village's elders, the wrinkled namekian who was often sent to fetch him when he wandered off to be alone. "Good morning elder..." Milac said, rubbing his eyes. He might as well have not even slept last night, the visions of enormous hairy creatures, an enormous tree, and a strange white protector had kept him stirring all night. He could still feel the strange chill that he had felt in his dream. "Milac... it has been decided that you must be taught to better defend yourself," the elder explained. "You are to meet a member of the warrior clan out in the square, and he will be teaching you some basic self defense lessons,"Milac looked at the elder wearily. It must have been related to the incident with Rock and the worm that had taken place a day ago. If Rock had not saved him, the little namekian would have likely been worm food. Still, Milac hated how often he seemed to get singled out from the other children. It made him sick to his stomach. "Y-yes elder," Milac said. He knew better than to question their wisdom, if it was what they had wanted for him, then he would do his best to comply with their wishes. A half an hour later, Milac came stumbling out of his hut and into the village square. He was running a bit late, having halfway dozed off again as the elder had departed. Paengi

”You are to train one of the young dragon clan children, one by the name of Milac,” Samuka explained to him. ”He needs to be able to defend himself. If it wasn’t for an unknown namekian than the child would be dead. We have high hopes for this child, and need to make sure he can survive on his own.” Paengi nodded, thinking about how he could go about this. ”Now, you need to make sure Milac can defend himself. If not, you can act as his bodyguard until he is properly trained,” Samuka told him. Paengi’s eyes opened wide for a moment, wanting to speak up, before simply accepting it. ”Go easy on him. You need to use baby steps. Right now, his fighting is hopeless.” Paengi’s silver aura appeared around him, as he prepared to fly.
Paengi soared into the sky, thinking about what he would do. How do you first teach someone to fight? He thought about it, supposing he’d need to get them to learn a defensive stands and basic punches.
He finally landed in the middle of the square where he was supposed to meet the kid. There were a few namekians, apparently wanting to spectate, but no sign of Milac. He decided to sit down and mediate, time burning away much quicker this way. He thought about his task, and felt it was odd. Why was the leader having him do so many tasks? At this point he felt like an errand boy. Maybe he wasn’t one of the strongest, simply a pathetic excuse for a warrior.

Milac waddled towards the meeting site in a somewhat hurried walk, looking a bit flustered and worried. He had forgotten his purple vest in his room, and so he was just in his white robe with a fluffy collar. As he moved closer he could feel out the location of the warrior, who had the strongest active power level in the area. As he closed the distance he could see the athletically built namekian waiting for him. "H-hello," Milac said as he approached Paengi .

After what seemed like forever, Paengi heard footsteps approaching. His eyes opened as the small child greeted him. The young dragon caste was in all white, his collar a fluffy ring around his neck. Paengi slowly got up, looking at the nervous namekian. So this was his student. He didn’t feel it hopeful that he could make a powerful fighter out of him, but he would sure try. There was always the option of being assigned as a guard to him if he was incapable of teaching him…
”I was told your name is MIlac. I’m Paengi, a warrior clan member. It is my duty to teach you to fight. Are you ready for this?” he asked. Paengi looked at him, wondering where to start. He supposed he would need to see how Milac fought first. If he had a base to work with, it’d be easier to mold that and let it grow. ”Milac, I need to see how you fight first,’ he said getting into a defensive stance. ”We’re gonna spar. I’ll let you have the first move.”

"I um... Okay," Milac responded as Paengi introduced himself and told him that it was his duty to train him in the ways of combat. Milac shuffled his feet left and right nervously. He noticed that other villagers, including some of the children, were there to spectate his training, which caused him to have a small frown at the crease of his lips. "N-now?" Milac asked. He wasn't expecting such a fast start to the training. "O-okay," Milac finished. He stumbled back away from Paengi for a moment. He held his hands up, and a small little ball of white ki began forming in his hands. He winced as he tried to focus it, not because it was difficult for him to form ki, but because his overly sensitive antenna caused him to be distracted by the essence of it. If Paengi had a discerning eye, he might pick up on the child's antenna twitching back and fourth as he prepared it. Ever so clumsily, Milac tossed the ki blast as if he were nervous to do so. It left his hand the way a child might throw a snowball at a neighborhood bully, as softly as he could. Paengi

Paengi watched intently, knowing he needed to know everything about the child’s fighting style to train him. He shuffled back and forth, obviously nervous and not for sure how to start. Paengi watched as the sparring partner stepped back, and began creating a white ball of energy. Paengi was a little startled, used to the more aggressive physical fighting style of warrior clan. He had for some reason imagined Milac going in for some weak attacks, but instead was using the dragon clan members ki to fight. He smiled, glad they at least knew himself enough to know the best course in this fight. An orb came at Paengi, and he bent his knees. As it rapidly approached, the warrior namekian would extend them putting his weight behind him, making him flip backwards and land right in front of where the ball had been. ”Good job,” Paengi told him despite the easy dodge. ”You obviously are much better with your ki and energy then you are at the physical aspect. Use that to your advantage, keeping your foes at a distance. For now you can only do that but later you need to work at getting away from your foe when they get close.’
Paengi got into a running pose, and shot off. He shortened the distance between them, looking at his trainee. ”Now!’ he said talking to the young child. ”Remember, your strength is in distance! You need to use this to make sure I don’t get close! If you fail at first, do not panic and keep trying. An important thing to remember is that the closer I am, the harder it is for me to dodge, and even more for me to keep momentum!” he said as he drew close.

Milac nodded shyly at Paengi, somewhat dissapointed that he couldn't even hit the warrior clan namekian with his most valiant effort at ki blasting. His heart raced wildly as he saw the warrior darting towards him. Milac did the only thing that he knew how to do, and took to the air in an attempt to flee into the sky away from him. Milac turned his head back of his shoulder, seeing that even with his fleeing he couldn't hope to out speed Paengi. With a concerned look forming on his face he turned his head forward again and doubled his efforts to get away. He knew that he couldn't keep away from Paengi for very long, he would have to resort to hiding if he wanted a chance at keeping away. He spotted a small group of trees in the distance, and he flew into the branches that sat atop them. The leaves brushed against his face, and he shuffled around within them trying to get to the center of the thicket. When he arrived, he stopped, his green skin somewhat blending in among the leaves.

Paengi’s feet pounded on the ground as he felt adrenaline fill him. This was the feeling of a battle, and he enjoyed it greatly. However, this was a much different battle. His goal was to teach the foe, make them better. He needed to forge his battle style, sharpening its edge until Milac could be a real warrior. He supposed he needed to set his expectations low, this being a young dragon caste. But he had to try to make him stronger, give him the skills to survive on his own. His eyes watched the child, ready for any shots. He expected he would need to go over Milac, considering his current speed and how close he was. Then Milac did something unexpected. The green child suddenly shot off into the sky, fleeing. Paengi stopped his momentum mid-air, staring at the green dot growing smaller in his vision. ”Milac! What are you- where- come back!” he yelled absolutely flustered. He heard giggles as spectator’s found the situation humorous. He glared at them, rising in altitude. He looked in the direction that the blur had shot off to, and zoomed off. He arrived in the area within seconds, and looked around. Surely this had been where it was? All there was were some trees and bushes. Usually he would’ve suspected some sort of sneak attack or an ambush, but surely Milac wouldn’t of that of that. Otto

Milac remained hiding upon the tall trees of the wooded area, avoiding Paengi though he shivered a bit as he heard the mighty warrior shout at him. As he stood in the tree, hugging his arms around it, a small caterpillar made its way down the trunk. To Milac's disdain, the fuzzy little worm crawled right onto the tip of his tiny green nose, hair rustling against it.
His nose twitched, agitated, and then he felt his sinuses building up and stinging the inside of his head. Within moments, a loud sneezing noise echoed from his location, sending the poor little caterpillar flying towards the ground. In that instant, Milac's location would be easy to find! Paengi

Paengi frowned as he looked about, unsure where the child was. His eyes scanned about the area, seeing very few to hide behind. Nearby was a cliff, however he knew Milac hadn’t gone in that direction. Besides that, it was too open for Milac to have gone anywhere else without Paengi seeing it. His view slowly turned, stopping at a few trees close together. He smiled, feeling silly that he hadn’t guessed the dragon caste would be in there. Then again, he hadn’t expected any of this. It was weird teaching someone how to fight, when they seemed in no way natural to. Instead of trying to go for him physically, blasts of Ki had been shot. Instead of trying to use his strengths, he had fled. And now he was hiding, yet lost out on his chance for a surprise attack. How could he teach him?
Suddenly a loud- sneeze?- brought him out of his thoughts as he got into a defensive stance ready for any attack. Instead, all he saw was a small caterpillar falling to the ground. He stared at the spot, and shook his head. ”Listen, if your goal is stealth and that’s how you want to fight, then you need to learn to take advantage of every moment you get,” he said into the direction of the tree. ”Now, if that isn’t what you want to focus, then don’t go running off when it’s not necessary. You have to keep your foe away for Ki shots and such, but still close enough to fight.”
