Les do eet oldman! Nostalgic Ayumu
[Thread PL: 15,838] This week on earth was certainly an eventful one, what with full moons, a meeting at a river, even ki using doctors. However, throughout all of this, one question burned in the teenage half breeds mind. That being, "Where the hell am I?!" he though a loud, very loud. Yes, despite the week on the planet, the ability to fly, and even the ability to sense power levels, Edoma was still lost. Really he'd only been in Valley Village twice this year, and was still unable to find it. To make matters worse, the youth hadn't had a decent meal since he was last at the mountain town, which had to have been a few days ago now. With his frustration growing, the young warrior decided to take it out on the nearby trees, showing the poor nearby fauna his rage. This furious tree beating did not last long, as it was interrupted by a scream accompanied by an almost unnoticeable power level. Edo looked over and saw a human woman staring in shocked horror at the teen holding a giant tree. Before he could say anything, the woman darted off. Edo rolled his eyes, before letting the tree plop onto the ground and giving chase to the woman. He didn't particularly care how the humans saw him, he just didn't need someone telling yet another ki user about this. He easily managed to catch the woman, who began screaming an wailing for help. "Would you just shut up!" the teen shouted, now picking the woman up. Edoma was sure this must have looked bad to say the least, a sixteen year old with a tail, holding some random woman off the ground while she was in hysterics. The area was filled with incoherent babble, one young male yelling at someone to calm down and point him to food, and a female shouting something a long the lines of help me. Combined, Edo wouldn't be surprised if the two could be heard from the other side of the planet.

While simply slicing into the onions on another beautifull day with the loud echo's of the busy folks around this neighbourhood Ayumu would bring himself to hum a soft tune in the air. The sound of the ring on his hand creating a soft wind chime in the nearby area along with a soft string instrument being played in the back of the building. It wasn't to the best of the person her ability, yet Hana brought herself to continiously try and push herself to learn this instrument. Always sitting in the back of the building she would never have found herself be as lonely as now, the song she was playing bringing a calm and frightfull air around her that slowly started to leak out of the building. A song telling about the loneliness of a murderer who wished for the soft embrace of flesh before a sudden glint in her eyes was visible, wiped away by a soft piece of paper as the old man brought himself on a knee infront of her and spoke softly.
"Please just cheer up, i know you are preparing yourself but things will only get worse if you let yourself get down like that"
Ayumu spoke towards this humanoid while simply starting to show a caring old smile that would easily be able to even crack into the heart of a bladed warrior, a smile of a man who has shown the same kindness to his once alive grandchildren before lifting himself up via a walking cane that he kept to himself for a rather long while. Markings of blades and axes having cut into the wood yet with new wood having fillen the gaps, it was a rather interesting looking object that soon trembled under his grasp. The shouts of a person, distant in his ears was a rather interesting subject that the comrade of his couldn't resist. Within mere moments of attempting to reach out towards the creature called Hana, the harp had already being dropped as with a small tremor she jumped out of the front, standing infront of the stall while pointing her hands forwards to the two shouting at each other. Knowing that things may not work as she hoped it to work out, But still, deep within her torso she knew she had to bring some attention to the stall of Ayumu.
"Hey! You kidnapper! If you wish to truely walk away safely, i challenge you!, Finish five full meals of my comrades dishes and i will let you go freely! If you manage to finish all five without a single bit of trouble!"
She spoke, the crowd around getting distracted by the sudden challenge, opening up a opener for the woman to escape, if the need would arise, while she then continued.
"But if you fail to do so, you will pay us two hundred zenni and also help my master with a single request! Or are you too chicken, mister weakling?!"

Kidnapper? Meals?! WEAKLING?! Confused frustrated anger could easily describe what Edoma was feeling right now. On one hand, he was too prideful to accept someone else's food, and on the other, he was far too proud to let anyone call him a weakling and get away with it. The teen dropped the woman, as he intended to anyways, hopefully showing that he was not a kidnapper, what would he even need a human woman for anyways? After the woman scampered away, Edo gave this new person a confused look, cocking an eyebrow. It wasn't a fight, it was, well just eating. How hard could it have been? More importantly, how would turning down food make him a weakling? Before anything though, Edo figured it might be a good idea to find out just who this person is. "Weakling huh?" he began mostly to himself, but loud enough for anyone to hear, "Sorry but who are you exactly?" he asked, a small twinge of anger seeping into his voice. He decided to wait before going off on them, though after being called "weakling" he was certainly having trouble. The young warrior approached the stall, the promise of food and the challenge of eating it, enticing him to walk over. "What meals are we talking about here anyways?" Inquired the hybrid, his olive eyes scanning the area. He tried to sound as non-caring as possible, but if anything gave away his interest, it was the brown furred tail, wagging almost dog-like at the thought of something to eat.

As the frustrated anger was visible on the face, Hana could feel a strange sense of fullfillment. Her shit eating grin covering her face as she simply spoke loudly.
"Come on!, Are you really thinking you cant handle this guy of all people?!"
Opening the flap on the front of the stall, unleashing a powerfull blast towards you. It was not a attack at all, instead it was a powerfull scent of meat roasted over a fire, covered in such precise herbs and with such fine movements that it became able to even bring hunger to somebody who had just finished, the large roast of a pig like beast sitting on the metal spike ontop of a open fire, that he covered in sand once in a while to keep the fire going with. His hands moving like a strange mess, instead of being stuttery, conflicting and confusing, his hands were like a flowing river of chaos. Herbs going to the right, spices going to the left, vegetables in the middle, this single stone plate infront of you was dancing rather powerfully while bringing forth the scent of the summer itself. The warm washing beach being heard from the constant beat the sand was moving in while his tapping of the foot against the bottom was like the rocking of a boat.
"This is a old man, His power as said by others is close to nihil! He would not be able to make something that could defeat somebody as powerfull as you right? And lets be honest, saiyans and such creatures are known for eating hundreds meals within a single hour and not being full!"
She spoke, continueing to break into your mentality, constantly assaulting you with multiple words of provocation, yet the way she did it was nearly flawless, looking like a simple brat who worked under him, with her pocket money on the line. You could eat for free! you only had the unlikely chance that at the price of 200 zenni, easily unworthy for such a meal you would have to pay up if you couldn't finish it! Simply how big is the chance that this woman called Hana would be right? It wasn't untill then that the man started to speak up, almost like a gentle river, his concetration like a finely carved blade that wont let a single piece stand between him and finishing his job.
"I am simply trying to make a meal to fill a stomach, mister, This is hana while i call myself Ayumu, an old veteran of the cooking scene who has not been able to make a single zenny in this world. Constantly being robbed and placed to the ground, i could never be able to earn something to pay back the loan collectors that were attempting to seize everything i had. Would you please assist me and bring forth the guts that would be to challenge me? It would give me a mere chance in this shop that delivers free meals to earn back what i make"
His kind smile like a wave of guilt coming over the crowd. Could you truely deny his challenge now?

The new woman knew just want to say. Prodding and poking his pride with boosts to his ego, each backed with the dare from before. Then the smell... First Edo braced himself for an attack, even going as far as to take a combat stance. Then once the aroma of the stall flooded his nostrils, his pose slumped into a hypnotic food crazed trance. It was as if the smell had taken hold of his tail, only instead of agonizing pain, it was a soothing massage. He quickly straightened himself, hoping he didn't look too foolish. "Close to nothing hm? And you think challenging me is the best idea? I could probably eat out the whole stall if I wanted to! If you think an old man like this could beat a saiyan, especially with food, you are sorely mistaken." the teen replied, giving his words an almost dramatic flair. Then the old man himself spoke. Hearing his story, caused Edo to feel a small wave of guilt for being so rambunctious. However, for the first time in a long time, his human and saiyan halves were in agreement, the young warrior decided to take this man up on his challenge. "Very well then. Ayumu, Hana, I accept your challenge." he announced as we made his way closer to the stall. "I'm Edoma by the way, but Edo works just fine." The smile was almost too much, melting his dual blooded heart into mush, though still ablaze with excitement for his upcoming feast of a challenge. "I think it's only fair I warn you, I'm not just a saiyan, I'm a teenager as well, I hear even teenage humans can eat as much as your average saiyan, so just imagine how much I can eat!" Announced the teen saiyan, hopign to hype not only himself but the old man up as well.

While you would bring yourself to react upon all these pokes, all these simple mentions of her conversation, she showed a quite pleasant smile. Hiding it behind your back, while slowly making her way forwards, Hana always had a simple air about herself. Never really putting up a gaurd, almost as if she was extremely cocky, yet upon a closer inspection one could easily take notice of how she had her entire body move forwards in sudden steps that were like a stream of water making their way down the currents of life. Almost nowhere was a movement where you would consider to have heard her footstep tap against the concrete, a great give away of her placement, instead she was a bulk of energy that was able to be sensed, giving away her position at all times. Conflicting with the mental reactions of silence, the lack of a sound of her breathing, the constant talking about the people nearby starting to be pulled in by this sudden happenstance. It was not untill the very moment that you snapped out of the food, with the two looking at you softly that you realized that she did not challenge you for a simple reason that had not been touched upon till this moment. A simple reason of protection as her body soon started to fall down on a small wooden bench in the stall, leaning out her body while letting out a loud yawn.
Yet Ayumu's reaction was something akin to a old humble man feeling a bit overwhelmed, seeing your reaction of amazement instead of taking a first look of notice, he would simply start to bring his head down, feeling the energy in his torso starting to overwhelm himself. Constantly having had to cook for others, he knew that everybody had atleast some herbal knowledge before he would start to take off his vest, revealing a white tanktop.
"Oh? You think you can consume my food and still be able to stand still?, I will make sure you will be facing the worst full course meal of your life! It will push you to your knees and keep you there as that is the pride of this man!"
Starting to take out a knife and slicing into the thick meat of what seemed to be a salmon variant, starting to make it obvious towards you exactly how he was handling this large fish like slab of meat and slicing through it without removing the parts from it at all. Almost shifting through it like a machinized cutter with these blunt weapons you would be shocked to find him even succeeding to cut this extremely tough set of meat.
"Today i will be making a opening appetizer of Cheese salmon, its a rather simple recipe, but by variating the cheese i use and adding a set of herbs between them it increases the Omega-3 fatty acids inside of the salmon itself, activating them and increasing the method of losing weight and tempering your muscles. Reducing insulin resistance, Reducing inflammation, and speeding up the oxidation of fat, these things will all assist you along with the vitamins within the cheese. This overload of vitamins could easily bring a normal saiyan to its knees as a small sized meal, but i tend to make things a bit bigger than normal"
Before this large double brick height and width piece of fish was placed infront of you, starting to let out a soft scent of vanilla, the spring scent starting to enter your nostrils while the meals that were laying around here were nothing compared to what you had infront of you. Yet from what he took out you saw a premade stone boiling pan of soup starting to be unveiled, the scent of a simple vegetable broth based soup with the fiber rich and lean protein evident all in it, pouring it softly over the fish while the flavour slowly started to sink into the food and brought even the mighties feasting warriors to their knees, the warm liquid taking up alot of space in the stomach. You may have already found yourself a contendor to knock you out! Yet he continued to talk carefree, almost showing you a chance for a opening before simply starting to grasp a piece of paper, starting to note down some numbers, attempting to instill guilt in you to not run out to avoid paying!
"My name is Ayumu, that there is Hana, we are both simply cooks that attempt to travel the would trying to ressurect some people that i have lost that were rather dear to me"
Leaving this opinion open for questioning, but at the same time you had to finish the food!

The first meal and already the half saiyan's stomach felt full just looking at it. Still he did not intend to go down easily. As Edo sat in font of the stall, taking in the sight and smell of the fish before him. This was certainly nicer than what he usually ate, at least on earth. Where did this old man even get a fish this large, was it all the same fish? These thoughts flooded the young warriors mind, planting a small seed of doubt within him. He quickly brushed it off however, remembering his threat from before. It was true, he was a saiyan, fighter, and a teenager, all three of these things were well known for their ability to consume without end. He flashed the fish a confident smile, before taking his first bite. As the flavor hit the teen, he found himself, actually confused. Sure the hybrid didn't just eat trash, he had eaten nicer foods before, though that was hardly what planet vegeta was known for, but this simple salmon, with cheese and drizzled with soup was far more than he had expected, especially from some old man's stall. He wrapped his tail around his waist, as if preparing for a culinary battle. It was the never ending stomach, or so Edo had hoped, against Ayumu's cooking. Edo didn't want to scarf it down, he was afraid that this would not only fill him up faster, but he also couldn't help but to try and savor the meal given to him. As he got halfway through the salmon, he looked at his opponent to see if his face gave away any hint of fear or concern he may lose. Now the teen was sure, in fact positive he could finish this aquatic confection, however it wasn't until he was three quarters finished that he remembered, there were four more after this. Could he really eat that much? If this was only a appetizer, how big could the main course be? He wanted to goad the two, however something the old man said caught his attention. Cooks trying to resurrect someone? Upon hearing this, Edoma decided to tone down his smile, though still wanted to come off as a little competitive. "It's um, nice to meet you." the teen said in a slightly awkward voice. This was the first human, or even first anything he met outside of a hostile, nearly hostile, or at least sparring moment. It was certainly different, and perhaps a bit unnerving for the teen. For some reason, Edo himself felt obligated to say something about himself, perhaps it was because Ayumu had shared what many would consider very personal information. "I'm just a teen saiyan looking for someone living on earth." he replied between munches. "Though that's been a little rough, the only person who knows where she is won't tell me until I can beat him." Just a few more bites left. "My training on vegeta didn't seem to be going anywhere, and earth is full of strong people, so I figured why not train here." he finished, his plate now only carrying scraps or any inedible parts of his meal. He found it very strange that he was talking about himself so casually, more so that it wasn't angering him just thinking about his countless losses since coming here. Whether it was the food, or just how the old man carried himself, he felt it easy to talk with this man. Snapping out of his easy going mood, Edo remembered he was in a contest of sorts. "Well that was certainly delicious, but I definitely have room for more!" he announced in a mixture of excitement and pride. "What's next on the menu?" Sure the young warrior had room for more, but he was not about to admit he did not know how much more.

While Ayumu had his face burning with passion and his emotions carrying in his eyes, he could simply look towards this humanoid with a painfull set of eyes, almost as if he was worried about how he seemingly handled things while wanting to reach out to him. Knowing that he had to do something yet he refused too, he knew he had to let him keep his pride for now as he opened up towards him. Simply letting him know what he meant he started to pull a short blade out, starting to work his way into preparing the next meal, knowing that he would be open for a second one. For the main course meal, something that he had to take pride in, something that he could not let go without a single shred of emotion that he wanted to convey not burned into the sight of this meal, sweat starting to work down his forehead as he continued to do his best. Yet the look on his face about being amazed at this recipe, possibly even the size of this fish that was a single object, he would not stop his hands that were working at a pace unbeknowest to the other people, continueing his entire passion while speaking softly.
"Life is beautifull isn't it?"
He spoke happily, starting to take a out a large number of herbs while starting to mash them up using a stone bowl and pestel, continiously working into the herbs while adding in small amounts of spices with a aroma so fresh you would instantly realize just how fresh they were. Just how ripe his body was would be a instant show on his dedication towards his work, always working as hard as he could. Wanting success, wanting a possibility to get further in life more than he wanted to sleep, rest and do anything else. His passion to get further was not just something he requested in the depth of his hearts, it was something he made the choice for and brought himself further and further in life, with the show of his face knowing that this saiyan would not be able to take it fully only burning his flames stronger. Knowing that he knows how deep he is in this shit, knowing just how hard it will be for him to carry on without being able to take life his hits and keep moving forwards. The sounds of the pestel hitting the bottom of the bowl were like thunderclaps in the minds of us three, continiously slamming down rapidly and bringing forth a powerfull sound that would continue to echo in the near distance. A swift look, you would be able to taste the immense flavour of this food he had prepared with your teeth sinking into it before you could see that he had wrapped some sort of red bandage around his hand, yet at closer sight, with the pride on his face it became apparant just how far he went. Old wounds on his hands starting to open up as he continued to mash up nearly a hundred diffrent herbal collections before starting to place them in a single dish, not letting go of his work and sitting back, he continued to be walking like a massive pillar infront of all these humans. Never truely expecting himself to be something godly, he was a mere cook that knew that this pain he suffered for his craft was something that he truely had deserved, something he practiced years for and never let go as he continued to work and never let himself go. Always pushing himself forwards, knowing that the pain he already paid for such a trained set of skills, the prices he paid to bring himself to this height would just be in vain if he were to quit before jamming his hands into the flames. His eyes, Those eyes that he gave for a single moment were able to freeze time itself in a sense of the word, almost as if everything was colder than ice while burning shut the wounds on his hands, killing the germs a way nobody would have willingly done. Showing his dedication to this challenge with one simple act while gritting his teeth as he started taking out a multitude of meats and vegetables, starting to slice them rapidly, finely, crudely, the many diffrent shapes that he had been able to slice them in was immense, yet what was forming before your eyes was nothing short of art itself. His hands placing down small buns and meat in perfect symmetry, in perfect handling of the ingredients while softly scattering the mixes he had made over the places, the buns and meat starting to form a bottom to the dish he was making, having a soft layer of green spices, brown spices, it would be hard to contain somebody their shock as they looked at him create a sakura tree garden via simple ingredients, layering meat and vegetables to create trees. Using gravy to fill a small lake in the middle, small shreds of vegetable and meat hidden within this clear like gravy that slowly started to become thicker yet was coloured a crystal clear shine.
"It is nice to meet you too, to meet somebody as friendly and helpfull as you, somebody willing to take my challenge and keep moving forwards"
His smile was radiant, his eyes were concetrated and the air was thick like butter with a hot knife slicing through it by the name of his words. Constantly bringing himself to continue working on this recipe, you would see it starting to lay itself out rather rapidly, the trees slowly obtaining their leaves, the grass having bread kneaded in a way that resembled small animals as they were cooked nearly flawlessly and carefull to not have them expand too much and give a mochi like feel to it. Everything was... It was unebelievable in a sense of the word as he had finished it, the inviting scene of spring standing before you as the dish was a metre in width and perfectly circulair before placing it down infront of you whilest taking away your empty plate.
"This world is a very mean place, it will beat us all down if we let it, yet i still stand here, unable to resist losing every battle i have been facing. Knowing that every fight that i had been fighting may have been useless, unable to not depend on Hana here."
His eyes starting to travel towards Hana as you started to feel realize a small fact, with the stomach hit you had already taken. A simple lesson for saiyans, because of their food efficiency... It was told that the ingredients that you chewed slowly made you feel fuller, the ingredients that you had displayed infront of you were disastrious for stomachs as they filled rapidly. Yet what was even more frightfull was that underneath all this, was the kind words of a simple man who took you more serious than you believed.
"Yet the deepest fear is not that we are inadequite, that is impossible, we had these powers always within us. We just need to bring them out while figuring out what makes us happy. No matter how crazy it sounds to the people you need to make a choice, what you are going to be, who you are going to be, anything. This is why i even in something that is deemed useless as a cook, even in something i am greatly outclassed in like fighting... I keep moving forwards to strive for victory, because even when life keeps me on my knees... I kept moving forwards."

Edoma was flat out stunned, there was no other way to put it. He watched as the old man worked his culinary magic, and listened to his inspiring words. The teen rubbed his eyes as they began to sting slightly, as the speech reminded him of another old man that out classed himself. It was hypnotic watching him work, slicing, dicing, heating, it truly was art. At one point the younger found himself almost reaching out a hand to stop the old man from tearing his mangled hands any further. However, as he observed his movements, Edo noticed something. Now to preface, even on other planets, fighting has been compared to otherwise mundane things, such as dancing, or certain sports, but cooking? Certainly not the first thing to come to mind when you think of fighting, however seeing the old man throw his hands into the fire, something that could easily mutilate any average set of hands, reminded the teen of his own training experience. He remember his own scars and wounds from battles, slicing open his flesh, bruising his skin, and of course getting blasted right in the face, nearly destroying his eyes. The thought caused the young warrior to rub his sensitive orbs again. Still this was no different, this old man had his own cuts and bruises and scars, from cooking of all things.
Soon his second meal came out in a wave of glorious scents. It made the salmon look like an ant comparatively, in fact the fish probably could have comfortably lived in the food. Not wanting to drop his demeanor, Edo dug in, still making sure to savor each morsel that met his tongue. As he indulged, he started to get an odd sensation, though decided to ignore it for the time being. As he ate, he decided to once again converse with his opponent.
"Forget the world, the whole universe can be cruel. Vegeta's definitely no exception. They make you feel like less of a warrior just because you..." he paused, he had never admitted this to anyone, and hadn't even considered doing so until now. Edo took a small breath, realizing his eyes should be a dead give away. "Just because you're not a pure blooded saiyan."
What the old man said next, caused Edoma to freeze, half eaten food still sloshing in his mouth. He swallowed hard, finding himself at a loss of words. "Who are you?" he queried, more to himself than to anyone else, his tone taking an incredulous ring. Fear of inadequacy huh? Certainly sounds familiar for the half breed. "Heh, for me it had always been a little different, fear of stagnation. I was supposed to be an elite but..." he trailed off.
Not a second later did the teen recompose himself, trying his best to play off his moment of weakness. "Wow, this is actually starting to fill me up, I haven't felt this full since having one of the strange healing beans!" he shouted a little too loud and even pompous, now shoveling his dinner into his mouth. He wasn't kidding though, as he barely put a sizable dent into his meal, he felt almost disproportionately full. Sure the salmon was large, but the teen was sure he could have much more. As he began to falter his monstrous chomping slowing down, Edo decided to engage the chef in conversation, while he thought of a way to keep going.
"So you're a chef right? If you don't mind me asking, what's her story?" the teen inquired, tilting his head towards Hana. He was also hoping this would derail the conversation from his previous more sentimental topic, or at least pointing it away from himself.

While starting to gaze upon his eyes, knowing that he was infatuated with the way he handled it previous he could not help but start to swallow loudly while refusing to bring himself to continue cooking further, taking out his knife and jamming it in a wooden board with a powerfull slam. The way he handled everything even evident in the powerfull blow that he delivered to the table before simply starting to widen his smile and showing a brilliant gaze in his eyes.
"Did you just say 'just because'?, That is because most of us go through life pretending, that we dont have any special goals or desires! While there, inside of that beating bundle of passion, like a bright fire within your soul keeps fueling us with strenght to move on. When really deep down inside, we always do want to have more, we block ourselves out with these words and makes us act like a trance, continiously letting our past keep us down."
The flames that had gathered underneath the plate starting to make it shine simply brightly, Lighting up the nearby stall with a powerfull hue of red. Everything looking like a immense inferno that would break the sudden tense atmosphere as it washed over us like a calm and beautifull appearance, something we both were too common with as warriors.
"We are sleep walking through life, finding ways to cancel out our dreams. There are so many things we want to do don't we? There are millions to thousands of dreams that we all have within ourselves that are simply waiting to bloom, waiting to bring themselves forwards. Yet... We stop at but, we stop at because, we stop at those words, putting down everything that we strived for and questioning our passion"
Balling up his fist, he would simply start gazing forwards before starting to let his last words out in a shout, before continueing to ramble on in a emotional sense of the word. Telling a small tale that he was planning on keep secret yet he refused too, he had to tell this, he had to bring this on the table to show him that not everything is as bad as it is.
"The world is what we conceive it to be, the world is cruel, but so are we, everything that we throw away, everything and everybody we abandon are logs that fuel the flames of the passion that is against us. They bring out the worst in us, they bring out the best in us, but above all, they can shatter dreams that we strive for with our entire life. Our simple reluctancy to keep following this path without taking the easy path is something that keeps bringing us down further and further, yet i sit here believing in somebody like you."
Before taking a soft breath, what seemed like a full century hidden within a second his eyes started to gaze over to Hana before giving out a soft chuckle, the food starting to work its magic harder the slower you ate it, the filling of your stomach only increasing the longer you took with each meal. It was a death trap, yet the things he spoke continued to bring out interesting points that were unable to be ignored. Almost like you fell into his traps and were dancing along his strings because he cared about you, not like some power maniac that simply wanted to kick your ass, some power maniac that wanted to controll you, he was developing you mentally and training you by simply talking into you. Bringing forwards every single flame of passion and sharing it with you, you could sense something even building within the heart of this old man.
"Hana, her name is based around a flower, yet her real name was hidden beyond layers and layers of walls and barriers within my mind, constantly breaking into me and causing me to question every single fact that i have brought forwards. Having met her on a planet that she was part of, a festering planet that constantly sapped of my life, she took the time to learn about me, seperating from a beast like brother, the entire planet constantly forcing me to throw up my blood as i meditated for centuries."
Hana who was laying in the corner, simply doing what we called sleepy you could simply see her turn around in her sleep, almost naturally as it was hard to pick out a single point, even with your eyes glued upon him as her body started to tremble softly. Soft droplets travelling down her face as she simply laid there, sitting there, listening to this man that she tried to save giving out such passionate words to the people he met. Living with such a bright fire of life while unable to realize how she herself hasn't been able to really grasp on such flames. How she was unable to truely grasp on those flames while her words slowly formed the words, almost silently.
"I will learn how to burn as brightly as life..."
Before you could hear Ayumu continueing, causing Hana's body to tremble and almost shoot upwards with a look of shock on her face as she simply laid there, knowing she could not reveal herself.
"All i have to know about hana is that one day she will carry a flame brighter than the stars in the sky, one day she will be holding a flame as big as the entire sun itself that embraces us all in its powerfull blast, continiously bringing us the warmth that she is. At that point she will look at her friends, tell her story and truely start to respect her, because we do not "But" to keep us in a corner. There are alot of people who say "I tried once or twice and it didn't work out" but they use that as a excuse to never come out again. Yet we are here, continiously moving forwards... This is why we will win and live on with our lives"
Looking outside, seeing the sun having started to descent over the night sky as the trouble in his stomach would have been immense before saying softly.
"I think you won this challenge, dont you agree?"
Reaching out his hand, before you suddenly started to realize that the challenge was not a meal, the challenge was not about bringing every bite to your mouth. This challenge was his way to save your behind, this challenge was his way to bring you to prove yourself, to train your willpower. As even now you kept training your willpower to hold on, to be able to see the beauty of something as simple as a meal while paying attention to something as weak as him. Teaching you how to manifest your strenght and simply handing you a cold can of juice before smiling softly.
"Be carefull out there okay? Live your dreams, not others their dreams"
(Next post of yours to end it? If you want to pay Ayumu, you can do it but y'know the price it is xD)

A small snicker escaped from the teen's mouth, and he finished what he could of the intimidating meal. He was sure one more bite would cause some sort of nuclear meltdown in his stomach, resulting in a catastrophic explosion or cataclysmic proportion. With this in mind, Edo dropped the meal, and would admit defeat after listening to the old man give his, now almost ludicrous speech, causing the small snicker to grow into hearty and healthy laugh. The young warrior stood up, reaching into his pocket for what little zeni he had. when he heard Ayumu speak, telling him he had won the challenge. Was this really Edoma's first victory on earth? It certainly didn't feel like it. The teen was confused, unsure what to make of this old man and his friend. He certainly wasn't like the other people he'd met on this odd planet before. Still, Edo could not fully accept this as a victory. His pride had taken a different route, a more dignified route that, while unexpected from the rowdy hybrid, wasn't entirely unexpected.
"I'd say so." he began, "but I still think you deserve something for the food." finished the teen as he stood up. He gladly took the juice, the can cold and already felt refreshing. He almost didn't want to leave, but the teen knew he had to at least try and make it to valley village, and was sure the old man had his own business to attend to. Though glad he didn't have to pay in actual money, he still wanted to give the chef something for his trouble. "Hana said something about a request right? How about if we end up meeting again, I give you that request?"
With that, Edoma walked off in what he hoped was the right direction. Now it felt like a victory, for both parties. Even if the elder forgot about his promise, he still got to cook up an excellent meal and have a nice conversation, which incidentally Edoma himself got to enjoy as well. The half breed was still filled with questions, wanting to know more about Hana and Ayumu, especially his age, and if his theory was correct, the secret to his longevity. For now though, he had to get home, and possibly run into another, most likely much younger old man. As he walked, he wondered if this still counted as a triumph, but if anybody asked, nothing was preventing him from saying that it was. With that thought he chuckled to himself, taking to the skies.

Edoma - 1,503 + 3175 Z = 4,678 Z.
Ayumu - 1,977 + 5380 Z = 7,357 Z.
