History:
While many Arcosian families pride themselves on economics and cold business, Friion's family instead has earned their merit through generations of serving the Empire in times of conflict as elite warriors. While they have dabbled in politics, it is certainly overshadowed by their impacts during wartime. Each generation of Friion's family have served in the military adhering to a strong standard of quality, and he is no different. He was raised in a minor noble house and kept sheltered from the riff-raff and educated on the finer points of Arcosian living, not to mention receiving an expensive general curriculum education that would prepare his young mind to one day take the field. As is standard procedure, he didn't spend much time around his family; as soon as his education had finished, right when he was getting comfortable and spoiled he was shipped off in his younger teens to bounce between military academies in the system of the Brenchian Gemini, bouncing between both planets year to year to learn not only how to lead and inspire troops (through fear or otherwise, but yes, mostly through fear), and learn the finer points of combat to become a destructive force on the battlefield. The academies in particular were renowned for making generals out of Arcosians, or at least officers above the rank and file at the very least; his family had a well-ingrained tradition of sending their offspring there as a rite of maturity. Unfortunately for all parties involved, his high life upbringing had already taken root in the form of a sarcastic, humorous, and sassy attitude that the training and education hadn't caught early enough to break. Not able to return home except on very short periods of leave, he mostly kept in contact with his family through holo-calls, maintaining professional contact with his strict, tradition-bound kin.
Combining his regal education with a growing finesse in combat, kept his sole pursuits focused on taking in all of the information he could, hoping to do his family proud and carve a name for himself across the galaxy. In trade, he often isolated himself and didn't make anything more than an acquaintance or two during his long stay away from home, allowing his friendlier social skills to decay and only practicing diplomatic skills that could serve him in practical ways. As the time away from home grew, so too did he grow distant from his family, and he had hit the age where he was ready for his first live training exercise; it was in fact a sort of hazing process for up and coming officers, allowing them to lead a small strike team of mercenaries and Brenchians in live combat. The part almost nobody knew about, however, was it took place on a convincing derelict vessel outfitted with a particularly nasty AI that controlled expendable, though dangerous, androids. It was during this event that Friion was able to understand and distance himself from the loss of comrades, and think of them instead as pawns. As the few casualties of his strike team were hunted down and murdered by packs of androids, he formulated strategies on the fly that many would have seen risky, but due to his own extra time in the training center he was able to act as the spearhead for the counter-assault and win the day. The pawns weren't exactly happy (besides a few of the survivors), but his superiors were. He was deemed ready to counter encroaching Saiyan border skirmishes.
The next few years rolled by in a flash. Memorable battles became passing chores after he had mastered control of his True Form through training, making him a secret weapon to his division. Whether they be space pirates or Saiyans looking to agitate already rocky relations, he found himself caring less about the well-being of the rank and file, and treating each victory as a personal one. The events he witnessed had begun to emotionally dull him, and he kept up minimal contact with his family. It was customary to return home for a celebration upon graduation into a full-fledged officer, yet he was enjoying himself far too much to do so regularly, only visiting a single time to check up on his younger sibling Brisk. He was disappointed to find shortly after his departure that the young Arcosian had ran away to avoid spending time in the academies; one one hand he couldn't blame him, but on the other, he had looked forward to one day fighting alongside his sibling.
With each passing battle war had slowly become become a game, a form of amusement even. However, as time went by, he would find himself on Arcose during the sacking of the planet by the Saiyan menace, thankful that Brisk wasn't there to witness it. While he had fought bravely, he lost his entire division, and his last unconscious sight was that of the Tree of Might. Wondering if he had been slain, he was instead shocked to see he'd woken in a jail cell in some sort of space prison. He had no clue as to why he'd been captured alive. Maybe it was a form of sport for the Saiyans that occupied the installation. His first sights after awakening was live video footage of the Demon Tree, and several panned-through angles of the aftermath of the slaughter all set in the backdrop of a ruined wasteland of a planet that he had once called home. He felt sick as his heart sank into his stomach, but his training and education paid off. Instead of lashing out, he began to plan and brood. He wasn't the only remnant of Arcose trapped here, and plenty of them were kept in high security like he was.
With the death of Wyntre Cold, news had spread very quickly even among the prison that the Arcosian Empire found itself divided and fighting...
His plans were now set. He would need to escape Space Prison Knutts somehow and afterward he would unify the Empire once more under the empty throne he sought to claim.

[N1] Viola Lorum Collido: The Viola Lorum Collido is a technique that allows Friion to create a whip constructed of nothing but his own shaped ki. By super-charging the whip, called the Viola Lorum, further with his ki energy he can change its form and function and deliver a series of punishing blows to an enemy by swinging the whip at high speed and creating a web-like array of strikes at 33% of his PL per charge. He is capable of shaping the whip to have an edge with a thorny appearance, or thickening it to smash enemies as a blunt weapon. He is also capable of summoning the whip as a flavor weapon for combat, though obviously when used in this fashion it effectively functions as a basic attack, such as a punch, kick, basic ki blast, and so on. This technique refers to the overcharging of that weapon to cause technique-tier damage. Friion prefers to use this weapon in combat rather than fight unarmed and dirty his hands, a nod to his arrogance. The whip itself causes shocks and burns on impact as an energy construct would, particularly vicious in techniques it is used in like this one.
Support
[SU] Flight: The ability to levitate and maneuver about the sky using ki. (Starter)
[SU] Halt Time: Friion has trained a personal method of blanketing an area with his ki and then freezing it, causing time in a large zone around him to grind to a halt. At this level, he can only stop time for a few seconds. However, this is usually enough to dodge attacks within 100% of his PL. (Starter, was reflavored from Afterimage)
[SU2] Time Stop: Friion has trained a personal method of blanketing an area with his ki and then freezing it, causing time in a large zone around him to grind to a halt. At this level, he can only stop time for a few seconds. However, this is usually enough to dodge attacks within 100% of his PL. In this variant, his field of control expands greatly which allows him to rescue allies in the path of an attack, either by physically moving them himself in stopped time or by letting them move themselves if they are capable. (Free)
Special
[SP] Imprisonment Ball: Friion has reached a breakthrough in barrier technique function; calling this technique the Imprisonment Ball, he can quite literally attack an opponent with a defensive move. By forming a baseball sized orb of ki in one hand, he can fire the construct at an enemy (or use it in close range, either or), upon which point the ball will expand and swallow his target, trapping them within. This technique can be used to temporarily disable an opponent in a fight, but is also destructive in nature. When the barrier is breached by any means, it will explode in volatile fashion like a massive bomb, dealing 66% PL damage per charge. This damage cannot be negated through use of a dodge technique, though it can be defended against with the victim's own barrier. The barrier itself has an integrity of 100% of Friion's PL per charge. [N1] Crazy Galaxy Darts: By summoning energy to the tips of his fingers, Friion is capable of loosing quick bolts of focused energy at an opponent at high speed. The shots will either explode on contact when they meet energy above or near their own, or when charged to hone their destructive potential they are actually capable of piercing through an enemy. Charges at 33%. This technique is mostly used in a rapid fire attack, where the energy can be split between bolts.
[UP2] Crazy Galaxy Shots: A direct power output upgrade to Galaxy Pellet, Galaxy Shot refines the energy summoned to become more compact resulting in a higher output. The shot flies faster, is a little bit larger, and is packed with more energy than the previous version. Charges at 66%. This is also typically a rapid-fire move with the energy output divided among the shots.

[N1] Shooting Star Bolt: Shooting Star Bolt is an energy wave technique where Friion lifts one hand and charges an energy sphere to act as the ''barrel'' for a large energy wave to be fired at an opponent before pointing the sphere at them and letting loose. This technique charges at 33%.
[UP2] Shooting Star Arrow: In this upgraded version of Shooting Star Bolt, Friion's increased output of energy causes the basic-looking attack to change shape somewhat and give it a more characteristic appearance. The wave fired from the energy orb is now lined with small, sharp-looking ridges on either side much like the shape of an arrowhead. The wave travels faster and explodes with much more force, making it more deadly.
[MP3] Shooting Star Arrow: Star Shattering Ballista: Star Shattering Ballista is the ultimate destructive form of this tree, wherein the orb summoned is much larger as well as the wave that is fired from it. Friion's firing arm will crackle with bio-electricity during the charging and firing phases, and the wave itself is more sleekly decorated with larger arrowhead patterns. The energy wave in question spirals when fired, adding higher velocity and a drill-like impact to skyrocket this move's destructive potency. Being his signature move, Friion's Force training has of course left him with the burning inclination to make awesome poses before firing it.

[SU2] Impede Time: An upgrade to Friion's ability to freeze time for only his well-being. Impede Time is a stronger version of Halt Time, expanding his mastery enough to afford a few more precious seconds to the time stopping effect. The energy woven within the field is also much more dense, causing the halt to happen quicker and stay for a few seconds longer. This in turn allows him to dodge attacks within 200% of his power.

[SU3] Time Control: Friion's grasp of the flow of time has peaked; at this stage, his zone of control is not only massive but much more finely tuned. Blanketing a huge area with his chi allows him to support allies while still giving himself coverage by allowing them to move within his zone of control, dodging attacks within 200% of Friion's power.
