[ Gravity Training #1, for week of 01/11/16 ]
It hadn't taken long for the Devil's Knights to make haste off of Planet Vegeta. Their previous plans would not go into play, considering Queen Zucceta had returned from her failed excursion of Earth, alive and well. The question of if they would even continue going forward with their plans for Planet Vegeta was also in question. For Kizuki, none of it really mattered much. He knew Alaistair had a goal in mind, but it was not something that Kizuki shared with him. Perhaps that was why they got along so well right from the beginning, they shared different interests. Alaistair wished to conquer the Universe, Kizuki just wished to attain an incredible power that would allow him to take revenge on his true enemies, the mechanical bastards that infested his home world and destroyed everything he cared for. It took the Saiyajin so long to understand the concept of affection, anything outside of battle and planet conquest was unknown to him prior to meeting her. Even with his first mate, it was nothing compared to what she had given him so many years ago. And just as he had learned to accept these things, they took it away from him all in a matter of hours.
Xylo was an odd creature, though he had shared more in battle with the Namekian than he had with Alaistair. Despite their own differences, he had learned to accept the green being as a comrade. The Mazoku Warrior was truly battle tested, and quite strong. He had earned Kizuki's respect throughout this entire time, though the Saiyajin wouldn't care to admit such things outright. It was undoubtedly so that the two would once again fight side by side again, and probably quite soon. And possibly on the soil of his revived home world, Planet Namek. He wasn't entirely too sure about Xylo's intentions once they arrived on Namek, but it seemed Alaistair was behind the idea of heading towards the newly revived planet, so without much of a choice, Kizuki would bound towards that direction with them.
Though with all of that aside, he finally had time to do some training within the Gravity Chamber. Alone. Having entered inside the chamber, the Saiyajin took to donning his usual attire. A black bodysuit, the material used allowed the garment to expand to nearly all lengths and widths. The same could be said for the vest armor, gloves, and boots that also made up his outfit. For so many Saiyajin, the necessity to have armor during battle was key, so allowing that to expand during their Oozaru transformations made it all the more helpful. Boots would tap along the cold, tile floor as Kizuki would make his way to the control panel, hitting a few keys to get the process started. GRAVITATIONAL PULL INCREASE TO TEN TIMES THE NORMAL GRAVITY TO BEGIN IN THIRTY SECONDS! was what the robotic voice from the chamber's speakers said. It gave Kizuki the chance to get a bit more prepared for this.
Moving to the center of the room, he would ready himself. Powerful legs spread shoulder width apart, booted feet planted firmly on the ground. Fingers clenched inwards to his palms, balling his hands into fists as his muscles tensed considerably. GRAVITATIONAL PULL INCREASE IN THREE.. TWO.. ONE.. And with that, the room would darken a bit before the lights popped back up, the pull of the gravity changing to ten times that of the norm. GRAVITATIONAL INCREASE INITIATED. Kizuki could feel himself being pulled down a bit, towards the chamber floor. However, thanks to his previous experience in the gravity room with Xylo and Alaistair, he found it to be less taxing on his body at the moment. He was able to ease up a bit, loosening up his muscles. Rolling his neck to the left, then the right, Kizuki would simply begin his training by taking a few jabs into the air, following by a kick, pivoting on his left foot and letting his right leg soar, stiking the air at a decent speed. This was definitely easier than before, and he had a newfound infatuation with this gravity chamber, aiming to use it to make his power boost incredibly by the time they reached Namek. Lowering his center of gravity a bit, in a crouch, Kizuki would pull his life force out of his body, calling his ki to encircle his form before sprinting off around the walls of the chamber, running at as fast a pace as he could with the increased pull. Every little bit would help with his training, even something as monotonous as running around the room. His mind would wander, as he proceeded to run several laps around the chamber. Super Saiyajin. It was all he could think about. There were so many of them now, one even had ascended higher, apparently, as was reported during Zucceta's public address. It made him think about his father, and how the old man had dismissed the transformation as nothing more than a legend.
In his mind, he could hear his younger self pleading with his father over the fact that the transformation was true. That it was more than just a legend! "OTOU-SAMA! PLEASE, LISTEN! It is true, I know it! If we all trained for that power we would be unstoppable!" He voice was high and whining, like that of any other child. He could hear his father's response to him next, in a low tone much like his current one. "Enough, Kizuki. I have little time to hear your desire to attain the power of a legendary warrior, a warrior that we are not even sure existed at all. You'd be better off spending your time learning what it takes to be a great leader. Enough of these old tales." That was how that conversation ended, as much as Kizuki could remember of it anyway. It would be a few years later that the two would argue again, this time on a much larger scale, with the only son of the planet's leader enlisting himself within the army behind his back and against his wishes. Pushing the memories out of his mind, Kizuki would stop from his sprinting, taking a moment to catch his breath and regain his composure. "How wrong you were, Otou-sama. The Super Saiyajin is real. I had seen it myself so many years ago, and now there proves to be even more." One thing was for sure, though, that training at a meager ten times the normal gravity would NOT get Kizuki anywhere near the levels of a Super Saiyajin warrior.
Standing straight up, giving his arms and legs a stretch, he'd call out to the computer of the gravity chamber loudly. "Computer! Increase the gravitational to twenty times the normal gravity. Immediately." With that, a few hums could be heard before the computer responded. ACKNOWLEDGED. GRAVITATIONAL PULL INCREASE TO TWENTY TIMES THE NORMAL GRAVITY ENGAGING FIVE.. FOUR.. And as the machine's voice uttered the last number, the space around Kizuki closed in. He could feel the gravity pull increasing suddenly, trying to force him into the ground even more than before. It snuck up on him and caused him to flinch as his knee was driven into the tiled floor, causing a crack to form in it from the impact. "K-Kusooo.. Did not expect that to hit so hard." He muttered under his breath, doing his best to eventually pull himself up onto two feet again, with some great effort behind it.
Regaining his composure, making sure to keep perfect balance, Kizuki would begin the slow motion of taking steps around the circular shaped chamber. He could feel his muscles instantly aching as the increased gravity continued to try and pull him down to the ground. Frustration would set in almost instantly, even more when he assumed that Alaistair and Xylo could easily conquer this much of an increase while he sat here suffering. He would have none of it. Eyes narrowed in determination, attempting to quicken the pace of his "jogging," which was really just over exaggerated, heavy footed steps to get him just a bit farther. Eventually, the steps would quicken a bit, but even the mighty Saiyajin needed to take a bit of a break. He stood there, his thick, massive chest rising and falling with each breath, labored from just attempting to walk around the room. The bodysuit did a good enough job keeping his body cool, but his face was covered in sweat, which was also quite the task to wipe off from his brow. "My body is already getting used to this. But.. I need more. This isn't enough." He wouldn't dare go to the next level of increase in gravity, but had to figure out a way to get this training moving.
Now that he could move just a bit more freely, the Saiyajin would begin to throw hard striking punches and kicks into the air, feeling the weight that greeted him with each blow. Right and left fist would do their best to be nothing but blurs in the room, doing his best to keep balance on his left leg, his right would go up and snap kick into the air a few times. Another short breather was necessary, using the time to once against stretch his limbs. "Computer, some targets if you will." With the demand in place, the computer would release three, spherical robots that whizzed and whirled to life. They were disposable, in a sense, used to attack under these conditions to strengthen your skills. Kizuki focused on one, doing his best to pick up some speed in his job before leaping up.. only to crash land on his chest with a THUD! Grimacing, he would push his palms upon the ground to get his face out of the tiled floor. How embarrassing. Coming to a stand, he'd try again, coming to a leap in the air and coming close enough where his cocked back fist could fly forward, hitting the orb in its sweet spot to cause it to erupt in a small explosion of smoke and shrapnel.
He'd land pretty well on his feet after that, finding it best to concentrate on his actions under these sort of conditions rather than just attempt something on the fly. Still two more left to deal with that floated above him. Watching them float about, idly within the chamber, Kizuki would once again ready himself. This time, he'd begin to concentrate on the flow of his ki, using it as a source to ease him into his attack, filling his body with as much power as possible. Gritting his teeth, with clenched fists, he'd push his body until energy physically crackled around him, the burden of even pushing his power to the point where it surrounded him out of his body was becoming an issue. He'd wait until the orb floated almost directly above him before shooting up into the air, as straight as an arrow, bringing his right arm back across his chest and neck before letting it fly forward in a "slicing" motion to remove the training sphere from existence. He found himself able to control himself in the air a bit as well, thought the gravity still insisted on pulling him down it made his decent much easier with a much softer landing as he planted his feet onto the ground. One more.
Looking up at the last training sphere, Kizuki would once again narrow his eyes. Controlling his ki was important, and that was exactly what his next mission would be. He found it difficult to push his aura out of his body just a few moments ago, so he decided to focus on that. With his feet planted firmly on the tiled floor, he'd spread his legs about shoulder width apart, going into a bit of a squat to keep a better center of gravity. Arms were at his sides, bent at the elbow with massive hands balled into fist. With narrowed eyes that were nearly sealed shut, the Saiyajin would once again begin to stir the energy in his body around. "Haaaaa..." The low tone of his voice seemed calm as he gathered all his might to summon his power outside of his body. A vein or two popping out from under the flesh of his head, one on his broad neck. Beads of sweat rolling quickly down his face, to his chin before hitting the gravity room's floor. Before long, those bolts of ki energy would crackle and rip around him, slowly at first but the pace quickening up before his screaming great a bit louder. "Haaaaaa... HAAAA!" And with that burst, his aura would seem to explode from the ground up, swirling around him from his feet to over his head, exploding in a bright, blue flash of light, pulsating around him like a giant flame. He had done it. He had called upon his ki and controlled it, a satisfied smirk on his face, but he did not break stance, instead, he stayed in his slightly squatted position.
Focusing once again on his ki, he'd pool his energy into his two hands, which were now uncurling from fists every so slightly in order to cup the physical orbs of energy that formed within them, crackling and bright with blue ki energy. He'd push even further, his aura exploding around him, getting wider and taking up more of the area. He was still being hindered by the gravity, but not as much as when he first began. He'd reel his arms back a bit more, until his hands met his hips as those two orbs of ki within his palms got larger. "I will NOT be the weak one of this trio. I was told.. that I would attain INCREDIBLE power. I will push for that, everyday until I've surpassed them! Until I've gained enough power to avenge my home world!" were the thoughts running through Kizuki's head, and as a bead of sweat formed on his chin and broke off to hit the floor, Kizuki used that as sort of a pendulum for timing. Thrusting his arms up, the two orbs of ki would form a single, much larger one as they combined. Beams of light forming from within, exploding around it before the orb was fired in the form of a ki wave. The orb was used as a base, while the wave itself was pushed out from within it, crackling with even more energy around it as it made its way over to its destination. Eventually, Kizuki's Destruction Cannon wave would make impact with the training sphere, the head of the beam colliding into the machine and destroying it with such force that the room rocked a bit. The rocking put Kizuki off balance, and with wide eyes the Saiyajin would tumble backwards, losing his concentration and landing on his back, arms and legs spread wide on the chamber floor.
"Computer.. revert gravity.. to normal settings." Almost immediately, the chamber's computer would drop the gravity back down from twenty times to ten times, than immediately back to normal. Kizuki lay on the ground, breathing heavily from the abuse he had just put his body through, though eventually he would regain his strength and find himself in a better way. His face was littered with sweat, his body sore unlike it had been in years, but he felt amazing. He almost instantly felt stronger. Another small smirk made its way onto his face. He knew it was only a matter of time. Each new training session within this gravity chamber, at an increase level of gravitational pull, would harden his body and cause his power to sky rocket, perhaps even higher than what both Alaistair and Xylo were currently capable of. Oh, how surprised they would be -- especially Xylo. He wouldn't immediately pick himself up off the floor, but would instead let his eyelids close to take in a bit of rest as he caught up on his breathing. Rest would be much needed, too much strain on his body without any time to recuperate would actually have reversed the desired effects on his body. His desire to catch up to both Xylo and Alaistair, as well as his need to increase his power incredibly to avenge his home world, Planet Daikondu, were his motivation, but he should not ignore his body's needs, deciding to take a nap right there on the chamber floor. Perhaps Xylo or Alaistair would find him there, and he would be ready for another round of training. He would prove to be a much more formidable opponent once he had awakened and was refreshed, full of energy and new life.
That was, until, a rumbling sound could be heard so loud that it echoed within the chamber. His stomach, it was yelling at him. It caused Kizuki's right eye to bolt open a bit, his cheeks flushing red from shame, even though he was by himself. One hand went to his armored gut to cover it, before a chuckle escaped him. "Perhaps it's time to refuel my body before my next training." Food was just as important as rest, especially to a Saiyajin Warrior. Their bodies used so much energy from all the incredible training and battling they were capable of doing, it was only natural that they needed to stay fully energized with massive meals. Those who were not keen on the eating habits of a Saiyajin were usually filled with awe, possibly a bit of disgust, once they bore witness to one actually having a meal post training. He didn't know exactly when they would land on Namek, but at this point he was more concerned with what foods The Devil had for him within the ship to keep him and his body satisfied. Again, he was an odd character who seemed to favor drinking over Kizuki's own desire to eat. Hopefully he had come to realization that he had a Saiyajin on board, a Saiyajin that was capable of eating them both out of his ship within a day.
