History: Laetus, named traditionally for his saiyan blood, is the son of a human woman, and a Saiyan
space pirate, whereabouts currently unknown. For the first 8 years of his life, he lived with his mother in a small village, living a simple, if not restricted life. No wandering out of the village, no leaving the house after sunset, and no showing people your tail... Obviously this ended one rebellious night. Hearing some villagers say something about a 'full moon', he decides to hide out under a bridge in the middle of town so he can stay out past his curfew. For the first time in his life, he lays eyes on the night skies beauty; the sparkling stars, the darkened sky, and that big shiny circle... Next thing he knows, hes waking up naked on the edge of a smoldering hole that used to be his village.
Lost and alone, he wandered about, bare naked, trying to get back to a home that is no longer there. He had wandered like this for three days until, one morning, he awoke at the edge of a village fully dressed with a sword at his side, his tail gone save for a fading pain. An odd trade to the gods, he thought at the time.
From here, he was on his own. No money, no home, nothing but these strange gifts. It didn't take long for him to adjust for survival. He would steal, do odd jobs, enter tournaments, and as he got stronger, even do some bounty hunting to get by. All the while, he wandered the world, asking about his village, the strange crater, and where to go from here.
After 13 years of this, he has grown a lot. He has learned to fight, fly, use ki blasts to a certain extent, and most importantly, enjoy the life he has. He has also learned about his saiyan blood, why someone removed his tail, and who his savior likely was (or atleast an idea of their race). He lives with the knowledge of how his village was destroyed, and keeps up with his tail removal to prevent it ever happening again. Despite this, you're unlikely to meet a more upbeat person.
