[Thread PL: 272,610 | Enlightenment (x16 Perm) Active! Current PL: 4,361,760! | [SU] Ki Suppression Active! Current Sensed PL: 25,000] (( Treylech)) Bing had been meditating on the Lookout, as was usual for the Guardian. However, in an instant, he felt a massive surge of malicious -and painfully familiar- Ki. It was reaching absolutely massive heights, before it suddenly disappeared. It was quite a troubling thing to sense, especially after such a long time. After some small preparation, he set out for the Diablo Desert immediately. The sun loomed high in the sky over the large, rocky desert as the day slowly crawled forwards. Deserts were normally quite hot, but today in particular was sweltering. Any normal man would probably succumb to death in such unbearable weather, but Bing was no ordinary man. The Guardian of Earth slowly trekked across the desert, a large hood draped over him, protecting him from the heat. Despite his resilience, the sun was still a formidable foe. It had been quite a long time since Bing had been to a desert; even longer so to Diablo specifically. He normally would have no business here, but a certain group of Zoanthrope mystics forced him to return. They were known as the "True Serpents", and they'd been quite troublesome for Bing in his early adventures. He though he'd seen the last of them when he defeated a the group in the Frozen North, but it seemed they never liked to let up. He estimated that he was nearing the source of the power, but he had no actual way to tell. If he had to guess, he'd assume they were holed up in some deserted temple or ancient ruins. Either way, their base of operations would stick out like a sore thumb. As Bing walked, he could feel the heat slowly getting to him. He stopped, grabbing a canteen of water from his belt and taking a hearty gulp of the refreshing liquid. He let out a satisfied sigh as he capped the canteen, storing it safely back on his belt. "Now, the source of that Ki has to be around here somewhere..."Suddenly, that same power surged to life once more. He turned, seeing some type of building far in the distance. The Ki was emanating from it; that much was certain. He jumped into the sky, flying towards the building at high speeds. He estimated he would make it there within a few minutes; hopefully quick enough to catch the culprit before they hid themselves again! In a few moments, he arrived in front of the building. It was a tall tower, though it seemed a very good chunk of it had fallen off long ago. The Ki he sensed before was still raging inside the building, which meant the culprit was still around. Bing sighed, readying himself to enter the large tower. The Ki he sensed inside wasn't anything he couldn't handle, but the Serpent Men weren't known for their raw power; it was their trickery that made them stand out. If he wasn't careful, he might fall prey to one of their many schemes...

[Thread PL: 6,444]
Treylech found himself at a loss for words. How could he describe how hot it was to his boss. She was a very quizzical woman sometimes and seemed to enjoy checking in on his life.
He couldn't think straight. The heat was doing things to his mind as he wandered around aimlessly. He was lost, but fortunately it wasn't hopelessly so since he learned to fly.
He had donned a bright pink cloak before heading out to explore. It wasn't exactly his color, but it got the job done. He was thankful for the cover from the sun's rays. It felt like it was seeping into his skin and trying to butcher him from the inside out.
He pulled up his own canteen and shook it to hear only the light clatter of the strap smacking against the hollow container. He let out a heavy sigh that bordered somewhere between exasperation and exhaustion. Lucky he was only mildly parched. How could he have burned through it so quick?
He slings the strap back over his shoulder and his eyes fall upon a building in the distance. This was why he was here risking his life in the solar radiation.
Well.....No, that wasn't true.
He was out exploring for some massive ancient temple full of goodies he could sell, but at this point any shelter he could find was heaven. He leapt into the sky, grabbing his cloak as it let go of his shoulder taking off into the sky.
He closed the gap in a few minutes at his slow pace and touched down directly behind the building. It was a tall tower like structure damaged by time. He floated up toward the roof and landed in a hole in the side of the building, pulling his cloak back on over his shoulders. He left the hood down since he was no longer worried about the sun.
He didn't realize he had probably poked at the Hornets nest.

As Bing moved for the door, he sensed another warrior enter through the top of the building. He couldn't see the fellow, but the way his Ki felt suggested he wasn't a Serpent Man. Whoever he was, Bing would probably want to figure out who he was at some point; assuming they bumped into each other before one of them finished their business inside. The Guardian slowly stepped through the threshold, and his heart sank immediately.
Spread across the floor were a multitude of corpses of all different races; Humans, an Arocsian, a Saiyan, and even some Serpent Men. They all lay lifeless on the hard sandstone floor, and they were all exuding an odd purple mist. Bing arched a brow in curiosity as he knelt down to inspect the Saiyan corpse. It seemed like it had been here quite a while. He grimaced at the smell, but continued to inspect the corpse further. The purple mist seemed to ooze out a stab wound from his chest. He stuck a finger into the wound, instinctively grimacing at what he thought was going to be slimy guts. However, instead of a slimy feeling, it felt dry and dusty; like the innards had been drained somehow.
"What the..."
He stood up, staring down at the odd sight before him. What did the Serpent's do this time? He moved past the dim room, climbing up a nearby set of stairs. He was quite a few floors from the top, but it seemed like that was basically his only option. Every other floor on the way up was blocked off by rubble, making it impossible to enter without blowing away the rock, which might send the whole building crashing down.
Luckily, it seemed that other Ki was near the top as well. Perhaps they were here for a similar reason?
As he approached the floor the other warrior resided on, he cupped his hands together and shouted. "Hello! Any non-murderous people up here?"

There was a certain atmosphere about this place that didn't quite sit right. Yeah, it was out in the middle of the desert, but it seemed almost too quiet apart from the steady whistle that popped in whenever the wind picked up. He sifted through rubble and debris. He didn't know what he was looking for exactly, but he was searching regardless.
He stumbled upon a door trapped behind a pile of stone and concrete that looked like it may have belonged to the wall at one point. He found a large flat sheet of metal and dug out the door. For some reason the silence made him nervous, so he did his best not to make a big scene.
Once it was clear enough, he pried open the door only to be greeted by the putrid stench of death and decay. How long had this place been sealed?
He stifled the urge to vomit and stepped in. Death meant something was once living. They could have items of value on them. He hadn't gotten to look around much before he heard a voice. It was distant, distorted by the enclosed space. Was it a friendly? He couldn't quite make out what the voice said.
Despite being an entity among most humans, he still felt a twinge of fear gnawing at the back of his skull. He knew there were stronger people out there than himself. Raisu had almost unintentionally removed him from existence the other day.
He inhaled deep and beat himself up for even feeling the need to, but he responded to the voice. "WHAT?!"

To say Bing was surprised by the quick response was an understatement. He heard a voice in the distance, but it was hard to make out what it said. Judging by the fact that the fellow didn't hiss at the end of his sentence, there was a good chance he was not a villainous Serpent Warrior, which made Bing glad. He climbed up a few more stairs, stopping on the floor just below the top. He could see a shaft of light pierce the dim vale of the ruins, revealing the man who he just spoke to.
The fellow was human; or at least he seemed to be. He wore a pink cloak; an odd choice, but Bing wasn't one to judge. He stared at the man awkwardly for a moment, before bowing instinctively. He introduced himself quickly, but with a polite tone. "Hey, my names Bing! Mind If I ask why you're here?" The Guardian looked around for a moment before continuing. "Are you chasing the Serpent Men too? It seems they've been up to something a bit more dastardly than usual this time around."
Bing peered downwards. It looked like the mist was slowly creeping up the tower. It was slow, but it certainly didn't look like it would be a good idea to stick around to let it reach them.
He turned back to the man, pointing a thumb at the stairs to hie left. "Let's get moving shall we? If my presumption is correct, we should find them on the top floor; the one right above us!" He had a determined look on his face as he marched towards the stairs, slowly making his way up to the final floor, where a malicious presence could be felt...

There were no real good responses as to why he was here. Getting out of the sun was one thing, but he didn't want to confess to attempting to locate a place to plunder for zenni. He thought quick and responded at a regular pace. Practice made perfect after all.
I'm Treylech. I was looking for a meat processing plant. I was part of a protest. My friend was wearing this cloak when I got separated from her. I think our directions were bad. Needless to say all I found was her cloak."
He glanced up the stairs to his side. "Serpent Men, huh? That would explain the bodies. I don't usually deal in cults." He reached for his water canteen again, but stopped himself remembering it was still as dry as it was ten minutes ago.
"You think they have a minibar up there? I'm thirsty as all get up." He didn't wait for an answer. He leapt up the stairs a handful at a time. When he got there, he found himself staring into the eyes of a man with the head of a cobra. In his hand was a large, luminescent blade.
"Oh. Sssssssorry to barge in, but you wouldn't have any ssssssssssoda would you?"

"Yesssssssssss! My plan is nearly complete! Ahahaha!" King Cobra cackled evilly as he held his blade high above his head. It let off a beautiful purple light, ever-increasing in intensity. His eyes darted to the entrance to the room as footsteps drew near. His breathing quickened as the man entered the room. Was Bing back to foil his plans once again?! The man spoke, taunting the snake-warrior by imitating his natural problem with the letter S. King Cobra hissed in anger at the warrior, pointing his blade at the nameless offender.
He threatened the fool who interrupted him, blade humming as it increased in power. "You're too late, warrior! I've already completed the ancient ritual of my clan, and in doing so I've unlocked unmatched power! Not a single soul in this universe can oppose me now!" He cackled evilly once more, but he caught his laugh in his throat as he saw another warrior enter the room. He lowered the blade, pointing a finger at the warrior who seemed so familiar. "Y-y-y-you... Bing Gan?... No, his hair was green; your hair is silver! You can't possibly be--" His words were interrupted by the blade itself. The humming increased in volume, and the lights intensity doubled. It would only react this way if its original owner appeared...
"N-no! It really is you! Why must you interfere in everything!"
Bing smirked, folding his arms as he spoke with a mocking tone. "In the flesh, your majesty."
King Cobra hissed, holding his blade up high as he spoke once more. "It matters not! As I told this fool here, you're powerless to stop me! I found your blade after you dropped it in the ruined 'BBA' facility. I've wasted so many resources to unlock the secrets of this blade, and I finally have!" The Guardian frowned, clicking his tongue in disappointment. "The power of that blade was never meant to be used, we both know that. Don't you remember what happened last time you activated its powers? Your muscles ballooned up like swollen grapes!"
"Heheh... That's where you're wrong Bing! That wasn't the true power of the blade! It was merely half of its power! The blade needs sacrifices, which my warriors so graciously obliged!"
"You call kidnapped Saiyans and Humans 'Your Warriors'?!"
"You think this blade cares if they were willing or not?!"
The two prattled on for a while longer, but it was clear Bing was keeping him distracted. He glanced at Treylech for just a moment, sending him a telepathic message to his new ally. "Hey, try not to freak out, I am speaking directly to your mind. This Cobra guy is a total chump. I'll keep chewing his ear off; try sneaking around the room and knocking him out from behind while he's distracted."
(Sorry if its a little word heavy!)

(Don't apologize for writing on a forum. Lol. I enjoy reading. That's why I'm here.)
Treylech is staring around the room by the time Bing throws out his plan. A sneak attack. He wondered if it would work. He didn't adjust the way he was looking around and started wandering aimlessly. The enemy seemed to have a thing for Bing after all.
Their history seemed pretty extensive. He wondered what he had stumbled upon this time, and the significance of the blade "King Cobra" was welding. As he wandered he made his way in a wide arc, keeping his true path hidden among a random pattern.
Could it really be this simple? He figured this was an outstanding rivalry, but the fear in the cobra-man's voice showed he knew he wasn't a match to Bing. He poked a random object and it tipped over, falling off the pedistal it was on and shattering on the floor.
He tried to catch it and flailed about randomly while attempting, but in the end was ultimately unsuccessful. He stared at it and looked around at a random group of invisible people. He whispered to them. "I'll replace....that....later..."
He went back to weaving about in a haphazard path as though he weren't actually focused on anything in particular.
He questioned a couple things, wondering why he was stuck dealing the preemptive blow on an unsuspecting victim, although it was clear his enemy was far from innocence. He could understand it at the same time, knowing full well that it wouldn't ever turn it's back on a known rival. He questioned if he had the strength though.
The time had come about. He struck quick, closing the distance to the villain's back. He turned, swinging his heel wide, spinning his whole body to gain momentum and aiming for the man's neck.
Treylech attempted to drive his heel into his opponent's neck.

The two warriors seemed to speak to one another for what seemed like hours. Bing knew how much King Cobra liked to talk, and that was the perfect distraction. Treylech slowly circled the room while Cobra and Bing shouted at one another. Though the ruse was working for now, Bing knew he couldn't keep it up forever; eventually he'd run out of things to say, and Treylech might be caught because of it.
Suddenly, Bing caught a glimpse of something falling to the floor. It was going to make a huge crash when it hit the ground. Bing had to act fast!
"Enough pleasantries! I know your weakness; it's time to reveal it!" He raised his hand, aiming it at the wall behind him. In a flash, a ball of Ki blasted the wall open, shrouding the sound of shattering glass with a massive explosion. King Cobra hissed as the sunlight poured in, backing away from its apparently harmful rays.
"You... How did you know that the blade has turned me into a creature of the night?!"
Bing folded his arms, declaring his knowledge of the blade proudly. "You think I didn't do my research? I know all about the blades dark secrets!"
"It's a good thing he'll never know I just guessed"
In an act of rage, the Serpent-Man raised his blade high once more, and began shouting. "It matters not! It's time for you to face the full wrath of--" Before he could finish, King Cobra's eyes bulged. A massive pain jolted through his body, sending him to the floor, unconscious. His blade clanged to the ground next to him; an unceremonious end to a fated duel.
Bing walked towards the unconscious king, smirking as he knelt down near his incapacitated foe. "Nice work, Treylech. Now, I think it's time I destroy this blade once and for all..." He gripped the hilt of the sword, raising it high in the sky above his head. He stared at it for a few moments as a blast of nostalgia washed over him. If it weren't for this blade, he might have died on Namek all those months ago. He smirked, gripped the blade with his free hand, and ripped it in two. The purple light faded from the sword as the energy within dissipated.
"I guess that's over with, eh? Let's get ou--" Before the Guardian could finish, the ground began rumbling heavily. He looked down, noticing the purple mist from before had reached the top level! Whatever this mist was doing, it was starting to bring the whole place down! "Come on, let's go!" Bing beckoned Treylech towards the hole in the wall, jumping through it quickly before the whole place sunk!
(Not the best post, but I didn't want to keep you waiting any longer)

Trelyech's strike was perfect in timing, strength, and location. He nailed the kick and watched as King Cobra fell unconscious. He felt a swelling in his chest from sheer satisfaction. That was probably the single best strike he had ever landed. He pushed his pride aside though as Bing brought up the sword.
He was curious about the sword, but it wasn't a desire to own it. As Bing pulled it apart, Treylech let out a rough grunt. He had a bad feeling. "Is this real-"
He was cut off by a rumble as the place shook violently. The destruction of the sword had somehow caused the place to become unstable. He saw Bing head for a hole in the wall, and he followed Bing's example.
Turning, he ran to the nearest wall and fired a blast at it, blowing open a section large enough for him to get through. The ceiling started collapsing and a large chunk of it, topped by a sharp piece of metal, stole the cloak from his shoulder.
He ignored it, taking off into the sky just as the building gave out. He turned and watched it fall, sending up sand and debris into the sky. The sword was gone, as was King Cobra. He floated belly up in relief as his body relaxed again. 'Done. Don't know what that was, but it's over.'
He leveled himself out and floated over to Bing. "You weren't secretly the bad guy and I didn't just help you destroy the only weapon that could kill you, right?" He asked thus jokingly. He wasn't sure how to process what he had just witnessed. He had just watched a building collapse on the man he had just knocked out. "And while I'm thinking about it, you probably could have broke it in a different place and scattered the pieces so it couldn't be remade."

As the temple began sinking, Bing let out a sigh of relief. Whatever that sword was connected to, it was now buried under pounds and pounds of sand. He turned to Treylech, who had jokingly suggested Bing was the villain all along. The Guardian chuckled in response, denying the jestful accusation. "I assure you friend, I am not. That sword has some bad mojo in it. If we didn't destroy it, an evil would have fallen upon the world... So, good job in helping me defeat him!"The Human brought up a good point about the blade, to which Bing nodded in agreement. "Good point. Maybe we should go back in and grab the pieces before the whole place gets eaten up?"Just as Bing finished speaking the temple was sucked into its sand tomb, completely gone from sight. He sighed; a mixture of disappointment and relief. "...Nevermind that, then..." If that sword was going to be found and re-forged, the one who found it would have to be extremely determined. "Well, I suppose we're done here. I hope we run into one another again, Tr--"A rumbling from below the sand interrupted Bing. A massive explosion occurred just beneath the surface. A person popped out of the sands; a scaly, snake-headed person. It was King Cobra, and he was looking royally pissed. Purple smoke came from a wound in his chest, similar to the corpses on the lower levels of the temple. The Serpent hissed in anger, pointing a threatening finger at both of the humans. "That's it! You're both dead!"He shot two beams of Dark Green Ki energy, one towards both of his foes. Bing was able to avoid the blast with relative ease, but he worried for Treylech's safety. Would he be able to avoid the Cobra's Ki attack?!

(I jumped the gun on the building collapse. I thought it was falling apart, not sinking. As for this post, I had to go back and check my first post for my PL. Lol.)
Treylech watched the top of the sand swallowing the final segment of the tower and pursed his lips as Bing came to realize what he had suggested. It was just a little too late now.
He looked to Bing as he started speaking, but was cut off by a rumble. It was far beneath them as the sands shifted and ultimately burst forward causing an explosion of sand and stone. He could only assume the stone was the top of the tower.
Through the center of the destruction, the Serpent King rose, ready to fight. Honestly, Treylech couldn't be surprised. He felt the battle had been far too short anyways.
Then came the threat. King Cobra planned on killing them both. Energy surged in the humanoids hands before launching forward towards the humans.
Treylech pushed himself upwards and around the top of the blast, narrowly avoiding it. He followed the blast to its source, charging ki in his right hand and throwing it at the monstrosity before him. Whether he hit or not, he would come in with a left hook aimed at his opponent's serpent-like face.

To say King Cobra was surprised by Treylech's adept dodging skills was an understatement. He fully expected the boy to die right then and there, but he nimbly avoided the attack! Treylech zoomed in for a punch, nailing King Cobra right in the jaw, sending him spinning through the air like a top! He crashed into the sand below, creating a small, sandy crater. The King was incapacitated, but just for a moment.
Bing cheered from across the sky. "Nice Treylech! You really nailed him with that one!" The Guardian smiled as he slowly descended to the ground, but his expression changed when the serpent king rose from his impact zone. A hit like that should have kept him down for much longer, but it seemed something in the Serpent had changed drastically. Bing pondered the situation as King Cobra went for Treylech once more.
"Treylech, watch yourself! I'm gonna try to decipher what this purple mist is all about; I think its keeping him from dying!"
"I will rip the flesh from your bones!"
As the King flew, the purple mist exuding from him grew in intensity. It seemed to flow harder when he was enraged; whether or not that was a good thing was yet to be seen. The King tossed out a flurry of jabs towards the formerly pink-robed human, hoping to disorient him. Should his jab combo succeed, he'd attempt to ram his elbow into Treylech's cranium, which would send him careening towards the sand should he be hit.
Suddenly, a set of three former corpses arose from the sand. An Arcosian, a Saiyan, and a Human. They shambled towards Bing, each one flowing with massive amounts of malicious Ki. Bing settled into a combat stance, leaving Treylech to fend off the Cobra King all by his lonesome...
(I apologize deeply for the wait. Was supposed to respond to this ages ago, but I kept forgetting. I hope you aren't upset.)

(Hey, I'm all good, bro. I'm just psyched to have a solid RP site again. Kinda lost my last one. The admin is an EX-gf and decided I was the spawn of Satan. Lost all my characters. I love it here in comparison.)
There was a swelling of pride in Trelyech's body, but it was quickly snuffed out by reality as he noticed his opponent was still standing. He heard Bing cry out about the purple mist. "Right! I'll just keep him occupied."
King Cobra hissed out a threat and Treylech smirked. He would have to keep his opponent angry to keep this battle between just the two of them.
The gap between them disappeared as The Serpent King came in with a flurry of blows. For the first few strikes, Treylech was able to keep his guard up, matching them blow for blow.
Unfortunately he wasn't as fast as King Cobra, and an attack slipped through, followed by a couple more hits. As the final hit came in, he leaned back, avoiding getting nailed in the face. The elbow caught him in the torso and sent him flying regardless.
He caught himself above the sand, and the energy he exerted to stop himself sent sand flying away from him. He looked up and smirked. "When this is over I should get you a giant glass box. I've always wanted a pet snake." He wiped away a bit of sweat that was starting to accumulate from the heat.

(Sorry to hear that, Trey. Hopefully you enjoy your time here!) King Cobra hissed in satisfaction as his foe plummeted downwards. It seemed, however, that Treylech was hardier than he looked. Treylech was able to stop his descent mere moments before he hit the ground, getting an infuriated hiss from the Cobra. The human gave a taunting quip; further enraging the Serpent-Man. "I'll stuff your corpse and put you on my wall!"The Serpent raised both hands, and two large orbs of Ki ballooned in his palms. After a moment of charging, King Cobra tossed the orbs downwards, followed by 10 more! He continued pelting the sandy dunes with energy blasts; sadly, however, his attack would be guaranteed to do little to Treylech. He spread his energy too thinly, making each orb about as damaging as a fly landing on your shoulder, which was to say they wouldn't hurt in the slightest. Bing turned for a moment, a bit of worry growing for his companion. Though it was clear the barrage was quite weak, it was still scary to see that many energy attacks come your way. He was about to speak, but the clawing hand of a reanimated Saiyan forced him to hop out of the way instead. The Guardian narrowed his eyes at the shambling trio, trying his best to decipher a weak spot. "Damn... They're just zombies! You can't kill a zombie... Unless..."Bing sprinted forwards, his hand reeled back as he charged. As he got within range, he shot his hand forward, piercing the cranium of the Arcosian zombie. He left it there for a moment, grasping at the brain hidden within. After a small struggle, he ripped out the brain, and the Arcosian fell to the ground. He hopped away from the other two zombies, staring at the inky-black brain in his hand for a moment. He turned towards Treylech, who was presumebly still being pelted with energy attacks. The Guardian shouted out to the fellow human. "Treylech! You need to get his brain out! That seems to stop them from moving!"Bing tossed the brain onto the sand, and charged towards the other two zombies...
King Cobra used [N1] Energy Barrage! Nearly Countless amount of Energy Orbs fired! PL of each orb: 0.1!
