Thread PL {3,096} 'It is so cold here' Ichiba thought as a freezing wind blew past him, ruffling his white hair inside his black hood. He continued flying, low towards the ground his feet barely touching the fresh snow; A small kitten on Ichiba's shoulder peered through the hood onto the vast outreaches of the taiga. "I didn't know there were places this cold," Ichi said as he shivered slightly in his clothes. In the rural town were he grew up there were only three seasons: summer, spring, and fall. Snow was completely foreign to him and he didn't like it so far. A gust of wind passed by yet again and it didn't seem like the last however Ichiba continued flying through the air hoping to find something on the other side. He became lost in thought as he mechanically flew 'I wonder if my father is on the other side of this mountain, well I don't know anyone who would want to take a vacation here, but dad was always a weird one' He chuckled softly at his own thought. Another much stronger gust of wind hit Ichiba and this one had enough force to propel him backwards slightly, thankfully it wasn't enough to knock him over so he continued flying forwards. Ichiba had picked up speed slightly, but so had the wind he had to work twice as hard in order to stay airborne; "I guess we'll have to take a break for now," Ichiba said as he began his descent towards the ground or more specifically a hole carved into a mountain. As he neared the ground another large gust of wind assaulted him, this time knocking him slightly off guard as he was flung towards an evergreen tree, he smashed into several of the branches on the tree and was soon meet with more as he began plummeting towards the snow below."I HATE THE COLD," Ichiba yelled at the top of his lungs as he pulled himself up using the trunk of the tree as a support. His words echoed throughout the vacant tundra. He began stepping through the snow as he headed towards a cave in the side of the mountain. Ichiba's shoes began to sink in the snow more and more with each passing minute. A few more minutes had passed and he barely gained any headway in his journey in fact he was barely 10 feet away from the large evergreen tree, but the snow was already up to his shoulders and he was freezing,"HELP" he exclaimed on instinct not realizing that no one was around to save him......
Quick description of Ichiba: White hair, wearing a black hood and blue jeans, sorry for the rough starting post ;~; @athren .3.

Cold and brittle, it was one of the worst days yet. Though instead of being negative about it Athren had decided to make the best of it. It was the perfect whether to push himself. The wind was rough while the snow fell. The temperatures were well below zero degrees. For an average human this weather would've been more than enough to shut their system down and cause them to suffer a slow and cold death. Luckily, Athren wasn't an average human. He was a saiyan warrior who wouldn't accept defeat or failure. He always found a way to push himself against not only himself but the environments.
Currently Athren had been on the mountain side. He was in his heavy weighted armour and had his scouter equipped. Though this was very common for him. At the moment Athren was shadow boxing. It wasn't that it was intense method of training but the elements definitely boosted the challenge of it. In fact, that was the only hard part of it. This session had currently lasted about two hours, the whole time the young saiyan had been firmly planted on the ground with the snow around him having his footprints all over the place though most of them had already been half way covered up. His right fist swung into the air, followed by his left. He brought his right foot up and around followed by his left. When both feet were planted on the ground he lunged himself forward and unleashed a barrage of fists into the air. Each breathe the warrior took filled Athren's lungs with the crisp north air.
Athren didn't expect what was to happen next, a sensed a small power level in the area. His scouter indicated that it was around the three thousand mark. Whomever it was had just so happened to crash into a nearby tree. Athren witnessed the whole incident happen and he wasn't sure of what to make of it. Who was clumsy enough to hit a tree? Sure, it might be hard to see given the weather conditions but damn. Whomever this was obviously wasn't familiar with the area, nor were they experienced enough to deal with the conditions. Regardless, Athren figured they could've used his help. At least, he assumed it'd be safe to check on them. If they didn't get up from that minor collision they would have been prone to freeze to death. Step by step Athren had started to make his way to the site of the incident. It wasn't easy as it was all uphill with a thick layer of snow. It took Athren about ten minutes to reach the tree that somebody had crashed into. He looked down to see small foot prints heading in the direction of a small cave. He then heard the voice of a kid calling for help. Since it may have been urgent Athren lifted himself off the ground and closed the distance between himself and the kid quickly. He landed and stared down at the child. His arms crossed firmly in front of his chest as he asked the kid a question. "Can you still manage up enough strength to fly?" That was his main concern, if this kid couldn't fly Athren would have to carry him home. Of course, he'd await the kids answer before he made any kind of action. Whether or not he could fly, Athren's intentions were to get him into his warm house. At least there the kid could warm up and make himself at home until Athren found a proper solution to the scenario at play.

Being incased in the snow only made it colder and apparently Ichi utterly hated the cold. His eyes opened and he was completely inside a white room that extended all the way to the ends of the earth and back; he was alone in the white space however when he blinked his eyes once another figure appeared, his father. Ichiba began to speak, however his throat closed and his voice became hoarse as a soft shriek emitted from his mouth. He instead decided to walk towards his father and his legs began to feel heavy like they were bolted into the ground; his father's mouth moved slowly....however nothing reached Ichi's ears he couldn't hear anything. Tears began to stream down Ichiba's cheeks as he cried out 'FATHER' but nothing escaped his mouth. Suddenly the image of his father began to disappear and in its stead was a skeleton in the ground, a locket of white hair stuck inside it's eye.
Ichiba was jolted from his daymare by someone speaking to him; his hands planted in the snow as he pulled himself up speaking frantically,"Fly.... I guess I could try " Ichiba would then lift off the ground slightly, as a white tail yanked itself out of the snow. It was strange seeing someone in a place like this, especially not wearing any kind of jacket, however Ichi was in no place to complain. Ichiba reached towards his back pulling his hood onto his head as a small white cat trailed inside of it, landing I top of Ichi's shoulder. It was strange, the man standing in front of him had a familiar air to him that Ichiba couldn't really pinpoint, because his mind was on more important things as he said," So where are we going?"

Athren observed the child as he managed up the strength to speak. He had said he 'guessed he could try' That wasn't enough. There wasn't any trying in this situation. It was either do or die, or at least that was how Athren would make it sound when he decided to comment on the kids answers. "Nah kid, It's either you do or you're dead." Athren paused for a moment as the kid lifted himself of the ground. Athren's right brow arched slightly as he saw a saiyan tail hanging off the kid. Though it was white in colour it was no doubt the tail of a saiyan warrior. ~Another saiyan child, you've got to be kidding ~ Athren thought to himself. "Understand Kid?" He spoke up once more making sure that he understood Athren's previous words. He didn't want any sort of misunderstanding, especially now that he knew this kid was a saiyan. Athren couldn't be light now, he needed to work this child for his own benefit. Though Athren might seem like a hard ass, he was doing it for the kid's future. Plus, his power level was way above average for a kid that age. Saiyan or not, three thousand wasn't a bad mark for a child of that age at all.
At this moment in time Athren would have lifted himself off the ground. His ocean blue eyes would have remained on the kid though. "We're going to my place, it isn't far but you'll have the chance to warm up." Athren paused for a moment as he turned his back towards the kid and slowly began to head off. "If you can't keep up, I'll leave you here for dead." This statement wasn't true at all. He wanted this kid to push himself. He wanted to see this kid keep fighting even though he may have thought he couldn't. He wanted this kid to understand what he was capable of when he needed to survive. If the kid had managed to get back to Athren's on his own will, Athren would surely make a comment about how he didn't need any help and that it was all in his head. Of course, he'd have to see if it came to that. In all honesty though Athren couldn't help but wonder where this kid came from and what the hell he was doing on the mountain. Obviously he hadn't been there before if the cold was effecting him this much. Maybe he was there to train or maybe there was something more too it? Athren didn't know. He'd ask questions when they got back. Who knew how long that would take though, hopefully this kid could fly semi quick. At this time, Athren would have picked up the pace slightly. He wanted the kid to push hard.

'Do or DIE that's......a little harsh' Ichiba thought as the strange man....no.....his savior? Ichiba tilted his head slightly as he stared at the man, however Ichiba jumped slightly,"Yeah.....I understand." Ichiba was told at a young age like most other kids to never trust strangers, but it was hard not to trust someone who came to help you. .....'huh I guess he is right......I can't always rely on.....people....' The saiyan flew upwards slightly and as he spoke it seemed like it was time to go. The cold chilly air blew past Ichiba, as he shivered slightly however now wasn't the time to act scared or act weak it was time to take action. The man spoke of a place in the frozen tundra, 'Why would you want to live here' Ichiba thought, but he wasn't able to dwell on this thought for much longer as the man began flying through the air.
Ichiba likewise pushed himself of the ground even more as he ascended to about half of the tree's height. It became colder the higher he went, his finger tips stung from the bitter cold that was present. The man began flying even faster through the air, as Ichiba groaned 'This is going to get tough' His black aura ignited as he attempted to match Mr.Man's pace, Ichiba sliced through the the chilling air. It somehow felt warmer flying through the air as a competitive fire lit in the pits of Ichi's consciousness "Mister I bet you I can go faster than you" Minutes ago he was lying on the floor encased in snow and it was odd, but seeing another person that could fly made Ichi want to test his limits....hey you can't be weak forever! Ichiba's aura burst around him as he trailed behind Athren.

Well on the plus side the kid was still functioning. It didn't appear that the cold had started it's ruthless process of shutting his body down. He understood what Athren had said and this was a good thing, Athren didn't like to repeat himself in situations like this. Especially since Athren was trying to make it worse than it had appeared, at least in the eyes of the child anyway. "Good." Was all he had said as a retort after the kid said that he understood. Regarding that, there wouldn't have been any need to continue until Athren and the boy had arrived back to his home.
During their flight the kid decided to be a little bit playful, he thought he was faster than Athren? Right. As if that would've been true. There was no chance in hell that would happen, though at the moment Athren wasn't going to test this theory out. There wasn't a need too. Though Athren admired the kids comment. It just showed that the kid actually wanted to test himself. "Don't call me mister." Athren said coldly as they descended down the side of the mountain. "And you're wrong. There isn't a chance in hell that you're faster than me." With that being said Athren went silent.
Sorry for the short post, on lunch. >.<

Ichiba decided to inquire about his savior,"If I can't call you mister....what's your name?Where do you come from? You seem pretty used to the cold and all so maybe your one of those....Eskimos?" Ichi wasn't normally curious about a person however he hadn't really seen anyone besides the people in his village. It had been a feeling Ichi never really knew, sure he was curious about all kinds of things such as where babies came from however never had he been curious about a person. When Mister man said he was most defiantly faster than Ichiba he was a little bit hurt at first, but then a wry smile formed on his face as a light bulb flicker on. He flew slightly faster than before trailing fairly close to the man's feet. "How are you so sure, I have been training since I was this old I'll have you know" Ichiba raised his index finger signifying that he was one year old when he started training however he didn't realize that Athren probably couldn't see him. Ichi no longer felt the cold only joy at his prowess; there was no way in his mind that anyone was faster than him.....except his father of course. es cool mang food is yummy .3.
