Training, training, training. It's all about training. If you train, your power level can increase dramatically. Which is what Conan was doing. He was doing his jogs around the city, with his normal grey hoodie on with jeans and red nike running shoes. As he ran with no hurry, he wondered about his current problems. "Well, I almost killed a saiyan child, who is kinda like me, and that's actually it. Oh yeah, The SSE is currently invading Earth, which is also bad." Conan stopped when he was at his 100th lap, even though he usually kept going. "Seesh. I need to make a group who fights back against injustice. Better yet, join one since making one is very hard." Conan didn't like doing a lot of work. If it's training sure, if it's something other than training, no. As he walked back into the nearby forest, he walked on the small straight path of dirt that led him back home. But he felt as if he should take the scenic route, so he strayed off the path. It was spring here on Earth. Flowers blooming, bees buzzing, trees growing leaves, it was all so peaceful for Conan. Conan loved peace and quiet. He sat down next to a flower. He looked at it, and patted it. He came to enjoy and respect all life on Earth, even if it was a insignificant ant. Conan closed his eyes, and became one with nature. He peacefully listened to the sound of birds chirping, bees buzzing and collecting pollen, ants marching to their dirt mounds they called home. He breathed in the pure scent of Spring, the favorite of Conan's seasons. "I love spring," he peacefully said to himself as he unwind-ed. He relaxed and released all tension in his muscles and slowed down his breathing. His heartbeat slowed down. Believe it or not, this'll be the last time today Conan'll feel this relaxed. Poor Conan.

It was one of Athren's few first days back on Earth, during these days he was quite calm and peaceful. He didn't push himself to train too hard and he just took all of the planet's beauty in. Though he couldn't help but feel bored. Sure, relaxing was peaceful and nice and all but it really wasn't doing anything. Since he was a baby, every single day that Athren could remember he spent trying to grow himself into something stronger and lately it just wasn't happening. Regardless of all that, Athren decided to mix it up a little bit. He went city hopping. City to city he went to explore. He had never really explored much other than West Capital before and figured he'd try a change of scenery.
Standing on the edge of a rooftop the young saiyan warrior had his attention grabbed by somebody. He could sense their power and his scouter indicated that they had a power level of nearly ten thousand. At first, he would've brushed it off and assumed that they weren't human. Yet, from where he was standing. They dressed like a casual human would. Of course, Athren's curiosity had gotten the best of him. He wanted to find out who this person was, he wanted to know what their race was. For whomever they were, they were far above an average human. They were determined to reach whatever goal they had set as Athren had watched them for about seventy some laps now. He couldn't help but wonder if they had any other method of training or if they were just doing it to stay fit. Whatever the situation was, Athren was going to find out.
After one hundred laps had been completely the person had began to make an exit. They headed towards a nearby forest. Of course, following from the skies Athren gave chase. When the figure had stopped to sit near a tree, Athren made his mark.
Landing in front of the figure Athren glanced down at him. His ocean blue eyes examined the child in front of him. "You're just a child?" he arched a brow curiously. This discovered caught Athren by surprise. Hell, even saiyan children rarely got that strong that early on in life. It was quite impressive.
At the moment Athren's scouter covered his eye, his heavy weighted saiyan armour was equipped. His mood was that of a good one. He was quite content with the events of the last few days, everything had been going well for him. It didn't take long, but Athren had shot out a question. "Tell me kid, How'd you get that strong?" At first, Athren might have come off as a little bit rude, but that wasn't his intention. He was just getting straight to the point. Like he usually did. He didn't want to waste any time, he wanted answers. This kid had potential, and he didn't want to see it go to waste.

Conan was a little annoyed when someone interrupted his peace and quiet. He cracked open one of his eyes and looked at the newcomer. He seemed ok. Black battle armor, tail, blue dogi underneath, and battle gloves and boots. He seemed like a saiyan. "Just because someone is a child, doesn't mean they can't have great amounts of power," Conan said as he got up slowly and stretched. That was the most wisest thing he has said in his life. Very impressive for him. As he opened both eyes to look at this saiyan, noticed something on his eye. "A scouter?" Conan muttered to himself questioningly as he started to stretch his legs. "I suspect that you were watching me, you followed me from my laps in the city did you?" Conan asked as he yawned a little. He took another glance at his battle armor and snatched off his glove. It weighed a lot to Conan. "Weighted battle armor?" Conan said questioningly as he handed him his glove back. "Nice. I wish I had some Heavy Weights. That'd be great for training," Conan said to him as he put his full attention to him. He raised a eyebrow when he called him a kid, and asked how'd Conan got this strong. "First of all, I'm Conan. Nice to meet you. Second matter, I train hard, and run into strong people to spar with often." He answered this question with ease. "I have trained hard, and one time got a compliment on how strong I was," Conan said with a sense of pride. "I sometimes fought alongside saiyans here. Other times i've fought against them. I'm guessing you're one right?" He said as he examined his tail. Conan could sense, even without the ability to sense ki, that this guy was strong. Something was off. "Ok. I feel something is off. Tell me, what do you think is making me feel like something is off hm?" Conan asked as he plucked a apple from a nearby tree and bit into it. He stared into his sea blue eyes. "You must be strong correct?" Conan asked as he paced around him. "I'm asking too many questions, i'll give you some time to answer alright?" He sat down again and waited patiently.

Athren watched as the child inspected him. He scanned him down from head to toe trying to figure something out. Of course, Athren wasn't quite sure what he was looking for but he figured he was going to find out sooner or later. The kid happened to speak up, his words were true. Just because one was a child didn't necessarily mean that they couldn't be strong. Of course Athren believed in this, it was just unusual to see a child maintain that kind of power level. It was uncommon. It had drawn Athren's attention though. The older saiyan spoke up and mentioned this to the kid. "You're right, It's just unusual. That's why I followed you. I got curious." Athren then paused a moment as the kid began to close the gap between them. Athren didn't know what the little runt was up too but he was sure going to keep his eye on the kid. At this point the kid went to remove the glove of the older saiyan. Athren chuckled as he crossed his arms. There was absolutely no way the kid would remove Athren's glove. If he had decided to continue to try, Athren would've put a stop to it with a fist. At this point, the kid should have realised there would've been no budging of Athren's arms.
"I suggest you don't touch what isn't yours, kid." Athren paused here for a moment to make sure the kid got the point. It wasn't polite to go grabbing other peoples things and it sure to hell wasn't going to fly with Athren.
Moving on with the discussion the kid that he felt something was off, that didn't really make sense? There wasn't anything unusual about the situation. Athren wasn't being strange or flaunting any kind of power. In fact, he was being quite relaxed. It didn't add up. Regardless, Athren was going to insure the brat that there wasn't anything off. Of course, he'd do that after giving a proper introduction. Athren wouldn't have done this if the kid hadn't. "Well Conan, I'm Athren." Athren paused for a moment just to add a little bit of suspense regarding the topic of being strong. "As for being strong, I could be. I'm a full blooded saiyan after all." With that being said Athren went silent. He wanted the kid to keep wondering. If he told him everything at once, there wouldn't be any fun to have, now would there?
Please don't "Remove" my characters stuff. Eventually since Athren can stop it. Glove snatch: Denied.

Conan slowly reopened his eyes after the saiyan had answered this question. He got up and smiled up at him, and said, "It's good to see another full blooded saiyan around here. I bet you are strong if you're telling the truth." Conan then walked around him and spoke, "Sorry that I tried to take your glove. I had to make sure it wasn't some cheap fake for some kind of cosplay convention." He then wondered how strong he was. If he was a full blooded saiyan like he was saying, he could have great amounts of power hidden without Conans knowing. He looked at him again and said "How much power are you hiding?" He kept wondering. He met some pretty strong people while on Earth. Some of them even humans. So how strong could this guy be? His stomach grumbled and he sighed. "I'm a little hungry. Can we finish this conversation elsewhere?" He asked the older saiyan. As everyone in the universe should know, saiyan had a huge appetite for food. Seriously, It's the number one thing you should know about saiyans.

The kid apologized and then continued to ask questions, it was kind of amusing to be honest. Athren of course had all the proper answers that he needed to have. He wasn't going to tell the kid much, if the kid wanted to know he'd have to stay around Athren for a while. Athren didn't really want anybody running their mouth about his power. He'd need some time to warm up to somebody. "Well kid, I could be hiding quite a bit or I might not be hiding any at all." Athren said this with a smirk, his posture was firm and still. At the moment Athren had been filled with a bright idea. The kid was hungry and wanted to move locations, most likely to get something to eat, so why not make him an offer?
Speaking up Athren shot the offer onto the table. "I'll tell you what kid, If you can land a single hit on my face. I'll bring you to my place and you can make yourself at home. Eat all the food you want, watch television, train. so long as you clean up after yourself." The whole concept of this idea was that maybe Athren could give this kid a little lesson, not only that he could demonstrate his power by not taking a single hit. It was kind of a win win. Not only that, but currently Athren didn't have much of a purpose. Maybe training this brat would give him some motivation? "How does that sound?" Athren expected a full out attack by the kid, he watched him closely for any body movements that may indicate he was going to go for an all out attack. At the moment, all Athren could do was wait and see what was in store for him. Maybe this kid had a trump card, who the hell knew?

Conan raised his eyebrow when Athren shot Conan up with this deal. He paced around, wondering if he should take the offer. First of the problems with this deal, if this guy was willing to do this, he must be stronger than Conan, which means faster and has more ki capabilities. But on the other hand, food, television, TRAINING!? Conan then reopened his eyes from thinking and smiled at the older saiyan. He then said, "I'll take your offer." He slipped gracefully into his battle stance, but quickly changed into a defensive stance where he could speedily charge at him at any time. He tensed his muscles once more, tail wrapped tightly around his waist just in case Athren decided to use that weakness. He closed his eyes and listened to the sounds of Spring. The birds chirping, leaves rustling, bugs buzzing. Conan let out a sigh of peace and said to himself,"No more peace for me." He let loose, yelling as his power level reached its peak. He then charged at the saiyan, throwing a flurry of punches but not at his full speed. Conan needed to save his speed for the last punch. All his punches were aimed at his face, even his tail was unwrapped trying to slap him in the face. He then pulled back to regain his composure. He was getting tired quick. Conan then returned to his flurry of attacks, hoping one of then will at least graze his face.

So, the kid thought he was up for the challenge? Little did he know that the power Athren was suppressing was that of Conan's but over tenfold. There wasn't a chance that Athren was going to let a single hit land on him. Honestly, he had been older, more mature, had more experience and was most likely more confident and capable when it came to defending himself. Remaining silent Athren watched as the runt took a battle stance. It was quite amusing to be completely honest. Who would've thought that the first super saiyan would've been picking a fight with a kid? During the stance Athren couldn't help but notice that the kid wrapped his tail around his waistline. That gave Athren a solid indication that his tail wasn't trained. Back when Athren didn't have it train, he too did that same thing. Currently he just lets it float about behind him. If somebody had wished to grab it, let them. It wouldn't do any harm to him.
Athren's posture really didn't change much. His arms were crossed tightly in front of his chest and he had a light smirk on his face. It was in that moment that the child had rushed in to try and lay a mark on Athren's face. Little effort was needed to evade all the hits. Athren simply leaned back, ducked, titled his head left to right or simply took a step back. It didn't take much effort at all to be honest. It was quite entertaining though. While Athren didn't try at all the brat tried his hardest. Athren leaped back from the child now a few feet to maintain some distance. "You're a brave one, aren't you? Tossing your tail at me like that."
Honestly, if his tail was a weakness he made the biggest mistake one could make. He used it as an offensive item. It would've been much too easy for the larger saiyan to grab. If Athren had wanted to runt downed, Athren could have done it with ease. What was he thinking? "I could've grabbed your tail easily, I'd only assume you'd have gone down hard." With that being said, Athren stood firm and awaited another assault.

Conan tilted his head when he said that he was a brave kid, throwing his tail at him like that. "Yes, I guess I am. I know that I have a tail weakness and that putting my tail out like that could be a huge disadvantage," Conan said as he wrapped his tail around his waist again tightly. He didn't want this powerful saiyan getting a hold on it. It could hurt a lot. And it would mean, of course, a big problem if he accidentally pulled it out. He shuddered at the thought and crossed his arms. He then said to the mysterious saiyan, "Don't think i'm giving up just yet, I still have plenty tricks up my sleeve. I have secrets too y'know." He then slipped into a offensive stance, lighting his aura around him. Conan had met strong people before, but this guy seemed different. He seemed to be more powerful than anyone Conan has ever met. More powerful than maybe even the strongest child on this Earth, Etoru. He closed his eyes and focused on Athren. He listened to the sounds of Nature too, but he mostly focused on Athren. He was trying to sense his power level. He had heard of beings able to do this kind of things, but he had never tried it of course. It could be handy though, to see how strong a person is before fighting them. He listened to the sounds of nature, totally at peace, and focused on Athren and searching for his power. But then, he felt it. A blip of Athren's true power. But then it was gone. Conan focused again, searching for that power. He then felt it again, but not just a blip. All of the power he could sense from him. His whole body shook. This guy had a power that dwarfed him. And he could sense that he was still hiding more. He reopened his eyes and grinned at Athren. He could still sense his power. "Looks like I've mastered Ki sensing, next time i'm gonna go for Ki suppression," Conan muttered to himself as he looked back at Athren.
"It seems that you're hiding some of your true power," Conan said as he looked at Athren, still sensing him. "Don't try to lie. I know you're at a power level that's greater than mine. I can sense it." He smiled at him. Conan was delighted that this guy was more powerful then he let on. "Look's like you have a huge power. Oh well, you can tell me all about it when we're at your home when I hit you in the face." He then charged forth, at his highest speed and began to throw a barrage of punches. During his barraged, he decided to play it smart. He faked a left hook and went for a straight punch to his nose. If that didn't work, he'd continue his barrage and, at the end of it, let out a large yell that shook the forest and let loose a hard and fast uppercut. That's usually the move Conan ended a barrage with. It was his signature finishing barrage move, and it usually worked, even on the strongest of opponents, like Etoru. He hoped it'd have the same effect on Athren, but Conan was always too hopeful. He'd then back away and rest for a little, exhausted. "Let's hope one of those hit," Conan muttered to himself. He was focusing on throwing punches, not seeing of any of them hit.
(Attempting to learn Ki sensing.)

What Conan was sensing wasn't Athren's full power. In fact it wasn't even near that. Currently Athren was suppressing his power level to about twenty thousand. He didn't want to come off as weak, nor did he want to show the world his power and make himself a target for anybody daring enough to try and take his head. He needed to be smooth and slick on the Earth. It was a dangerous place, even for him. It was a shame, but it was true. Athren listened to the child go on about his weakness, which wasn't necessarily a bad thing. If the kid recognize there was a problem then he should be able to solve it himself.
It was then that the kid began to talk of Athren's true power. It was kind of amusing considering that the brat didn't even know half of it. Athren was hiding most of it. "You don't even know the half of it, Kid." Regardless of that though, it was irrelevant. The outcome of this was already decided by Athren. He wasn't going to let a single attack hit his face. There was nothing that Conan could do that would break Athren's decision. The kid proceeded to talk about how he had some tricks up his sleeve. Of course Athren didn't doubt it, everybody had their own schemes and tactics to win a fight. The question was, would it match up against one of Athren's favourites? Athren for one, had doubted that very much.
The kid seemed eager, he seemed confident. He came rushing in like a bull let out of it's cage. His fist would've hit what appeared to be Athren.
Little did the kid know, Athren used an after-image technique. The older saiyan fighter would've been behind Conan at this point. Roughly ten feet away from the child. "Hey kid, I think you missed." With that being said, Athren would've once again crossed his arms against his chest. His attitude was bright and his smirk full of confidence.
Stand Still After-Image used. Athren's now ten feet behind Conan.

Conan's first thought when his fist when through the afterimage of Athren was, 'Oh shoot, I think I just killed him.' He then noticed that the so-called Athren, disappeared. "What?!" Conan said to himself as he blinked and did a double take. "Did he just ditch me?" He said to himself as he itched his head in confusion. "What just happened?" Conan muttered to himself as he looked around. He heard Athren say something and he turned around. He was ten feet away from Conan. "How'd you do that?" Conan asked as he sat down to think. He had to do something sneaky. Something that he wouldn't see coming. Conan groaned. He couldn't think of anything. He then tried to relax. To clear his mind of any other distractions. He needed to think of something. He couldn't just pass this great opportunity to be able to train and eat at the same time. Plus he will be able to ask Athren everything about him. His techniques, how he got to Earth, how much power is he hiding, all that jazz. He closed his eyes, and tried to think of something. He then got it. Conan could still sense Athren's power, even when his eyes are closed. He could make it seem like he's just gonna sit there and wait, and then surprise him with a flurry of attacks with Conan's eyes closed still. He smiled, he loved when a plan came together. He closed his eyes, and made an expression that made it look like he was just gonna sit there and relax all day. Conan then charged forth, eyes still closed, sensing Athren's ki to make sure he was flying in the right direction. He then started with a fake uppercut to his chin, and let loose a barrage of attacks. He threw them like he was in a life or death situation, which was pretty fast. If this guy was still hiding power though, he could still increase his speed. While Conan, he was at his peak, he couldn't make himself faster by just, believing. He then went behind Athren and continued his barrage. He hoped one of these would hit. If not, then he was gonna have to say sayonara to all that T.V. , Food, and training. He really wanted to get ahold on one of Athren's training things. If he could amplify his training, he'd be strongest in the universe in no time.

Athren couldn't help but smirk at what the kid had said. He didn't have any idea how Athren did his after-image. It was kind of entertaining. Though, surprising all the same. An after-image, or as Athren called it his 'Nova Effect' was well used. He wasn't the only one who used it, countless others did. It was shocking he didn't come by anybody who used it before. Regardless, it was at this point that Athren knew all bets were off. This kid couldn't touch him no matter what he tried. Athren still had more tricks up his sleeve if he needed them but he currently didn't want to use them. "I did it quite easily, actually." Athren commented on how he did it. Though he didn't go into detail he didn't necessarily lie either.
At this moment the brat was going to rush in for another assault. Athren saw no benefit in continuing. "Stop. That's enough." He said loudly before the kid rushed in. If the kid had rushed in Athren would react, hopefully he wouldn't have to do that though. "We'll get you fed, and maybe I'll show you a thing or two." Though the kid didn't touch Athren at this point, Athren wanted to help him. He had potential. He just needed help having it released. Athren couldn't even imagine what this kid could be when he was fully grown. Hell, it was almost terrifying.

Conan stopped dead in his tracks when he heard Athren say stop. It wasn't that he said it in a commanding voice, it was that Conan was afraid of him. He didn't know his true power, which scared him. He began pondering the possibilities, 'What if, what if he was the Gol-' his pondering was interrupted by Athren mentioning food. Conan had stopped his assault in the nick of time too, his fist was a millimeter in front of Athren's face. He dropped to the ground and stood up and said, "If you can show me a thing or two, and get me fed, i'd be grateful," Conan said to him as he walked around, wondering who this guy was. "Can you at least show me your true power? I still can't sense all of it," Conan asked as he paced around, finally sitting down on the ground to rest a little. "Whew. I hadn't had a workout like that since, well, I guess since I've left Planet vegeta." It was true. Back on Planet Vegeta, he always had someone who was as powerful as him, or even stronger. But he wasn't gonna waste his one spacepod by going back to square one again. Conan couldn't pass up this opportunity to eat and train. So, he was gonna make the most of it. But, he didn't know where he was going though. "Where are we going?" Asked Conan after lifting up in the he air, ready to take off.

For a brief moment Athren had stared the boy down. He didn't speak, he didn't budge. He just simply looked. The kid talked and Athren listened, but the older of the two didn't budge for a moment. Athren smirked faintly. "You know what? Sure." Athren paused a moment to add some suspense to the situation. He didn't want the kid to think he was that easy to talk into things. "I'll get you fed, I'll train you, hell.. I'll even give you a home that you can freely walk in and out of as you please." At this point Athren turned his back to the kid. "We'll be going to my place." He answered the last two questions the boy had backwards.
Finally, Athren got to the request of the boy. He wanted Athren to show him his full power. That wasn't going to happen. Athren didn't want the kid to know what he was capable of yet nor did he want to set a large beacon on scouters telling them all right where he was. That didn't seem like a very good idea. Athren would much rather be left alone for a while, of course. This was excluding the kid. Athren shook his head lightly. "Nope. I'm not going to show you anything." He said as his arms once again crossed tightly against his chest. "You'll learn in time what I'm capable of, but I will give you a hint." Athren paused for a moment as he tilted his head back and looked up at the sky. "What I just did was effortless, I didn't even try when I dodged all of your attacks. Plus, I've got weighted gear holding me back as well." Athren stopped there, he didn't want to reveal too much information at one time. "I suggest you find yourself some weighted gear and a scouter. It'd do you good." With that, Athren paused and awaited a response from the kid. He wasn't sure what he'd say or how he'd react, but he was positive that it would be somewhat amusing.
