[Thread PL: 37,157 | Heavy Weights Equipped! Current Weighted PL: 9,289]
The early-morning sun beat down heavily on Xylo as he briskly walked towards the palace. Normally he wouldn't find a need to visit the place, but due to recent information he had gathered, he decided it was necessary. He had gotten wind that some of the Zuccetta's war party had returned early, though who it was he was not told. Regardless, meeting with them would be a crucial step in Xylo's plan. If he could get them to spill information about the state of the invasion then he might be able to plan his uprising a bit better. As an added bonus, he might be able to convince this warrior to defect, increasing his rebellions power significantly, no matter who it was.
His dark, tattered cape flowed behind him as he walked, giving him an air of importance as he approached the two guards at the front gate. The two Saiyan Elites held their hands up, ordering the Namekian to halt. Xylo did so, giving the two warriors a glare of anger. Though they were a bit stronger than he was with his weighted clothing on, he wouldn't bother trying to start anything at this crucial time in he and Alaistair's plan.
"Halt! State your business, Namekian."
Xylo scoffed, folding his arms and glaring at the Saiyan who had addressed him. "Do you really not know who I am? I am Xylo, member of the Red Eclipse and leader of the Mazoku Caste! I demand an audience with those who have returned from Earth."
The Saiyan raised a brow, seemingly not knowing what Xylo was referring to. The Saiyan tapped a button on his scouter, speaking to someone on the other side quickly and quietly. After they finished speaking, the Saiyan turned his attention back to Xylo and spoke. "It seems we do have one warrior who's returned from Earth. Icarus, the Queen's Advisor. It's unlikely he'll care who you are, but we'll send a message to his scouter."
Xylo nodded, deciding that patience would be for the best at the moment. He spoke up one last time before they sent the message, adding a bit more info to the missive they were going to send. "Make sure he knows I'm good friends with Doctor Kouda. Scientist types seem to like one another, so that might improve my chances." The Saiyan nodded, adding that to the message he was sending. It'd only be a matter of time before they received a response...

[PL reads as 1,186,785 For anyone with a scouter] Icarus really didn't even need to be told the man was waiting at the gates. The palace's security while he was linked with the archive and this close to the main hubs. He was damn near one entity with the security. Several cameras and recording devices had already noticed the man claiming to be leader of some clan or tribe. Namekian details of some kind no doubt. All he could really form in his mind was the fact the man so clearly detailed out loud his position. Icarus considering the presence of power and in theory that any man who must SAY he is a leader or a king in the like is no true leader or king. But it should simply be known as accepted for this to be true. But who was he to question this was not a matter of the saiyan network. Nor did he even know how zuc planned to deal with him when she returned. He hoped with some discretion given his work thus far for the empire at least. With little more then a whisper their scouters would give them the go ahead and Icarus would be waiting at the end of a long hallway towards the throne room. He didn't like meeting in the labs. People and thier... touchy hands you know. No one could ever keep their hands to themselves so he found it more ideal to meet in the throne room even if there was at present no queen on said throne. Still curious given some corrupted data he was working on if she was in fact even alive. But in time he would get his answers. He just had to wait for the data to finally be mended within one of his secret labs.
"Well while I'm not usually one for this type of meetings outside of the queens or with her staff. I guess there isn't really anyone else here of proper position to meet with you... Anything particular you were after? If its requests for your people or for anything major for that matter the crown isn't exactly at its best for sparing resources at the moment. I'd expect given your connections with Kouda you may know why... Well depending on how well Kouda was informed I guess. How are you close to him anyway? An forgive my neglect in properly introducing myself. I am Icarus adviser and head of research among other things. I suppose I'll speak with you and see what it is you are after at least." The boy's saiyan tail on the four foot five man wrapping loosely around his waist and white lab coat. Snugly around the saiyan body suit and boots he wore underneath. Carrying a rather well mannered and scholarly posture for a warrior. Not really fitting the type in expression nor body mass of a real saiyan. But then again appearances were only so much to the story. He would have spoken the second the mans power arrived on his scanners. Xylo being scanned several times over as well as the Namekians internal systems would provide reasonable entertainment in study while Icarus took in whatever it is the fellow had to say.
He would look rather young too for someone of this position. Although he didn't really know what to expect. It was hard to know what exactly this man already knew of him. If he was truly connected to Kouda and if the two were intimate with details of Kouda's knowledge then its possible he could be rather well informed on Icarus's.. condition. Not that he hid it that much merely just eluded to let it be known as easily. Why release information that really had no baring on the moment anyway. If it wasn't really detrimental that the man know why bother releasing the information to him. His eyes giving Xylo the full scan as well as offering no real sign it was happening. Just one of his little ways of gathering information on races and the people that stood before him now and again.

After a bit of waiting, the Saiyan would receive a reply from his scouter. He let out a disappointed grunt as he moved aside. "Icarus will see you now. He's in the throne room awaiting your arrival." Xylo nodded, walking past the Saiyan quickly to get to his destination as fast as possible. He had no time to waste, and any moment not spent furthering his plot was a wasted moment. He entered the throne room to find a vaguely familiar sight; a short Saiyan... Or was he? The Saiyan gave off no life at all, hinting that there was something else going on. Xylo had encountered someone like this before on one of the Arcosian-owned planets. It was an android, an artificial life-form.
"Greetings Icarus, I am Xylo. I'm sure you don't remember me, but I believe we were on the battlefield together during Zuccetta's conquest of Arcose? We only saw one another briefly, but I assisted in bringing you and Kouda the wounded soldiers."
He extended his hand down to the "Saiyan", hoping the android would shake his hand. If the handshake was declined or accepted, Xylo would pull back, resting his hands behind his back as they continued to speak. "He and I worked on some projects together, so I'd say we were well acquainted. I haven't spoken with Kouda since the tree was planted however... I worry for his safety, as well as my children's..." He drifted off for a moment, a look of worry caked on his face. Quickly however, he shook the worry from himself, returning to the conversation at hand. "Forgive me, I was lost for a moment... I presume you are back from the war due to a crushing victory? Or perhaps a less-than-pleasurable fate has befallen our Queen?"

It was interesting greeting someone curious of something or another with the queen. Given how Cipher was given such a... welcome reaction. He hoped he could perhaps more accommodating in matters of crown and official business. He sometimes felt his queen lacked... certain tact when it came to such meetings. A queen of war but needed some practice when dealing with more noble and proper dignitaries or those of fine birth of other empires. Several types of people that could show up that he worried at times would often get the rather rough talk like that android had received when it cam the android. An that all just turned out perfect given they lost a few good people who left to help regardless of her orders. "Ah it comes back to me now. I recall you yes but sadly I've had little time to get to know you. One of Kouda's allies should make you make you just as much accepted here as he was. The queen respected him so on his behalf I'll go so far as to presume you should be given equal respect and time." It calculated to be the proper choice. Ones friends of friends should be treated well as to secure strong friendships. Kouda was a man of great scientific know how that Icarus often wondered which of the two between he and himself even with his mechanical enhancements were the better scientist or doctor. It was a rather fond effect to think of a person in that way rather then how most his saiyan allies were more interested in how hard he could hit or what trinkets he could build for them more often then nto to also assist them in said goals of hitting harder. Or stabbing some liked to stab... or blocking stabs and hits. Weapons really and Icarus did find weapons and armor more often then not so droll to design. There was so much more that could be done studies being worked on but a empire of war left little time for his side experiments and search into other races and knowledge of all kinds, History as well when he had time for it.
But that was for another time. He shouldn't doddle on idle wishes of more free time and study resources. Also while Icarus wasn't always the most fond for physical interaction he still shook the green mans hand. Finishing up his scans as well rather quickly and thoroughly of the man. Icarus caught the bit of worry in the mans face as well as the intention to protect his children. Icarus wondering on this momentarily. "Well I remember seeing that one boy of your race with him on a prior visit. I'm sure if Kouda is fine as is his men if they are these children you speak of. He seemed to have a rather well built ship and mobile fortress I'd not worry. He is also a ally to me personally for reasons I... shall have to keep private. But he is a good man an he has the crown and my aid should he need it. As for the queen... I don't know I'm afraid. There were complications that led to my 'return' being much faster and ahead of schedule. But the recorded data of the war at the moment is rather corrupted... Droids and programs are running repair on it but it could take some time. The queen herself could be dead or ruling Vegeta as we speak. I've no idea how it ended. But there was strong opposition. Sadly enough one of our own who was fond of earth seemed to change sides. As well as in some of the footage broken I've found... Another squad as well as betrayed. Quite a few chose to turn tail then fight till the end I've heard. We can only hope the queen herself still lives... I worry for the crown and the realm should she not return... But forgive me was there something you needed?" Being rather forthcoming with what he knew. Seeing little harm in sharing these details. Icarus had few allies and needed what few he could get at present. He worried how the queen would react and even worse saiyan enemies. If zuc was hurt or dead... things could come to claim this planet for revenge from either the earth forces, Arcosian, saiyan traitors looking to seize power. Icarus sensed many factors that made it impossible to get proper calculation sand miscalculations... oh how he hated miscalculations.

"Ah, I'm glad to hear you know who I am! It's reassuring in some ways; It further cements the thought I had of you."
He was glad to hear his son was well and good. Guit was his first-born, and as such he was quite proud of him. It wasn't often you'd hear Xylo worry truly about others, but his son was important to him. Guit was in good hands however, so he needn't worry about such a matter. The task at hand was far more important, and it would be time to put his plan into action. Should he fail, the empire might be more aware of the coming attack, but should it succeed... Then they'd have no chance of failure.
At the mention of 'complications', Xylo saw his chance. He nodded, responding with a curious look on his face. "Ah yes, if I recall correctly, you aren't exactly a Saiyan, are you? You're an android, though of what race I am unaware, as Kouda did not fill me in... However, it doesn't take a genius to notice you aren't a Saiyan, either. You don't give off a Ki signature, and you've got actual intelligence in that head of yours, rather than battle tactics." Icarus mentioned that some soldiers had defected from the army, further increasing Xylo's chances of attaining a new ally.
"Why don't we walk for a bit? We can get out, get some fresh air in the garden; sound good? While we're there, we can discuss things..."
Should Icarus agree, Xylo would begin to head for the outer gardens, an area mostly left unguarded, save for a patrol now and again. As they walked Xylo would continue. "It is unfortunate that we lost an entire squad to the art of defection. I hope it wasn't an important squadron like Natto's, I hear through the grape-vine that he's become a Super Saiyan as well; losing someone like him would be a major blow to our empire."

He'd be glad to see the boy at least a little assured. Kouda was in some ways a good man. But at least seemed to be a man of his word. He'd give him that much at least. Not that he didn't like Kouda he did. Dearly, But he knew Kouda was perhaps capable of certain things when needed or desired if problems got in his way. But problems for another day perhaps. Xylo continued even asking about Icarus himself. A though that only caught a almost unnoticeable half grin on the boys lip. Wondering if he'd heard about the spat with Natto's squad perhaps. The over rambunctious saiyan now traitor to the cause and his people. Icarus wondering if the queen realized as of yet if she should have trusted Icarus's judgement on them when she had the chance... Assuming she still lived of course. The dark possibility of her having fallen is still a possibility as well.
"I am a simply Icarus, Sure I may not exactly be what you'd call organic. Some would use the words Synthetic perhaps. But these looks are simply to allow me to adjust properly into my environment if were only going for skin deep at the moment. I guess you can see being like me has many advantages. My actual race... Isn't much of a concern. What a man once was... Should not shade over what he has become! Being stuck in the past will only drag us back with it my friend." Speaking in half answers and carefully with his words. Not so easily forthcoming with special information. Xylo was no saiyan so he didn't hold old grudges he'd expect that go down race deep. But Icarus had no way to be sure and information in itself was also a valuable resource. One Icarus didn't always favor personally and professionally sharing to easily.
He'd simply nod though and agree walking along with Xylo to the outside towards the garden. Figuring another place that might need some use given besides the slaves that attended it at times most saiyans didn't care for pretty scenery or fine plants. If they couldn't eat it they usually gave little care to what came out of the ground. Well unless they could kill it like saibamen. Another race he distasted on how they were treated on this planet. One of many changes though he had no real authority outside of his personal flock to hold influence over.
"As a matter of fact it was Natto... The fool even become some new form of super saiyan I've heard tell of. The video is... disturbing... The man developed some new power and betrayed his people. I tried be civil with this boy once you know. He an his squad were shooting up in power like it was nothing. I suggested splitting them up if only to train our armies. To get them ready for future invasions, Attacks, Defense. He nearly figuratively and physically tore me to pieces. He's a boy but a mad one. While I won't miss him personally... His power is a big lost given our current affairs and possible loss on earth. But don't miss understand please... Troubled youth is understandable. If he stays away and keeps away we won't have to consider action against him. I don't want to accidentally risk hunters or seekers harming his people. The girl he had with him seemed... a bit more centered then he. As did the boy but he was injured on earth I believe. I'm unaware if the woman or the other young boys that were injured are even still alive. I am sure Natto lives though. I wish I had better data on him..." Icarus speaking of Natto as if he were a threat but one that could be left alone if away from the planet. He didn't wish needless death to send huntesr that would most likely fail or worse kill the weaker of his men that may only be influenced by power. Dead younglings he would never support.

It was interesting to hear the android's response to Xylo's knowledge. Apparently, he considered himself race-less, referring to himself simply as "an Icarus". "I see... Well, to whatever race you were prior, you have my condolences." In truth there was no way to know the past of this android, but everything came from somewhere, and Icarus' "somewhere" didn't start with the Saiyans.
The two of them walked through the halls of the palace, arriving in the garden rather quickly. It was truly surprising to see such a well-maintained garden on a planet as war-like as this one. Icarus seemed to confirm Xylo's suspicions, revealing that not only had Natto achieved a brand-new Super Saiyan form, but he was the one to defect. A smile almost formed, but he quickly hid it with a grim frown. "I see... Truly dark times. I fear that with his entire squadron defecting that the Queen has little to no chance of victory. We can always hope however! Zuccetta conquered Arcose near single-handed, so a challenge isn't foreign to her."
Xylo needed to keep his word choice deliberate. He had to ease Icarus into the idea of betrayal slowly, otherwise this would be a bust. The Android continued speaking ill of Natto, further detailing the events of his going rouge. "So, he was rough with you in the past? It seems this act of defecting might have been something brewing for a very long time then... Tell me, do other Saiyans treat you improperly, or has that been an isolated case?"

Icarus nodded but didn't seem to show much emotion on his race. More or less just letting it be treated as if it were lost paperwork or some stolen tech. Not nearly as one might expect when talking of lost races. "I've made peace with it. My race is not something that will do me any good sorrowing over in sad thoughts. I have closed that book and move forward into new chapters." He'd say keeping up close Xylo keeping up with his words still feeling a little disgust when he had to think of Natto. The traitor and how he'd burned him with ki so viciously for such foolish reasons prior. Icarus didn't exactly hold love for that man. The squad under him were good folks but Natto wasn't one Icarus wished to see again anytime soon.
"He was a fool... One of the more racist of his kind. Angry at the idea of a non saiyan so close to the queen. He may have had power but he didn't have proper respect. Better him gone then a made dog roaming our halls. Most though are respectable enough. But there are other cases. Some do not favor a non organic nor not of their kind remains in official position and standing. IT doesn't take much to earn looks and distasteful expression from the warriors. But I have enough power to intimidate most of them. It doesn't happen as often as it once did though. I've since learned to be more careful and know how to play on the elites and lower class. They know to respect me given my position." Talking calmly and crossing his arms as they moved along at a decent pace close to one another in discussion as they traversed the halls towards the royal gardens. Only the capital itself holding any plant life worth looking at anymore. Plant long since killed of its naturally beauty in the transition that had turned it into what is now known as Vegeta.

It seemed that Icarus was more or less apathetic towards his lost race. He simply considered it a closed book in the long history of the universe. Xylo cursed mentally, lamenting on the fact that an easy soft spot for most was already mended. Had he enacted this plan earlier, there might have been a chance that Icarus would be easier to sway, but "I see... It's good to move on, keep strong for your former people... Just don't forget them entirely."
Xylo moved closer towards the flowery plateau, taking in the mixture of aromas with a deep breath. He took note of the fact that most, if not all of the greenery here was edible. It was unlikely a common Saiyan would come by for a snack, but a more refined elite might partake in the blood-less meals growing here.
The Namekian's ears twitched slightly at the mention of Icarus' use of intimidation. He pondered for a brief moment before responding. Was now the best time to begin revealing his true intentions? Would waiting longer prove to be a help or hindrance? It was hard to tell, but he had to start sometime. He turned his back to Icarus, speaking with a quizzical tone of voice.
"Intimidation you say? Wouldn't it be easier to simply punish them for their transgressions to ensure you don't have to deal with the same insubordinate wretch more than once? They'd do the same to their slaves, why not you to them?"
He turned to face Icarus, his cape adding extra dramatic effect to the motion. "Think for a moment Icarus! You're more than strong enough to deal with every Saiyan in this Empire save for the Queen herself! Why not flex that power? You could so very easily stake your claim on this planet and overthrow the Queen in her absence, perhaps creating a safer land for the slaves in the process! You know Zuccetta would never allow those who aren't Saiyan's to live equally on this planet; let's do something about it!"
Though the Mazoku Leader seemed confident on the exterior, he was sweating bullets internally. If this up-front plan didn't work then Xylo was well and truly screwed. The worst case scenario was Icarus being appaled by the mere idea and blasting Xylo into oblivion. The only thing Xylo could do now is wait for a response... And hope his speed would be enough to run should things go awry.

He cleared his throat letting out a sigh but folding his hands behind his back still keeping his proper posture and way of movement. Showing little emotions usually always in proper posture and stature. Giving hte proper and well mannered impressions. More mannered then most other elites. One of the many things that often showed him for not being one of actual saiyan blood. But it just wasn't in him to act as blunt or rude in manners as most of his saiyan comrades. "To a extent remembrance is important I suppose. But it was... long ago they were removed from their home planet... If you saw their home today and how it was back then. You could almost say it was a completely different planet now. But at the same time small similarities. But we can't let the past drag us down. Or we'll drown in it before being able to advance into the future my friend." He'd say in a calm tone. Still careful with what details of his fallen people he'd share.
But his strange company brought up odd words. Going to a point of conversation one would not likely expect whilst within the palace. Or to a adviser to their presently missing queen. He'd sigh feeling something twist within him. It was true he'd seen how Zucetta had reacted to the android male seeking help for earth. As well as how the slaves were often treated and he could only do so much for so many within his labs. He couldn't protect them all and suggesting freedom or to openly changing things would only receive backlash from other elites or advisers. Or worse possibly from the queen herself. He would remain silent for a moment. Letting out a heavy sigh as a lightly cold lifeless stare looking over the green male. Before his lips would finally part in a calm emotionless tone. "It isn't like the though hasn't occurred to me. My goal thus far has been to try and ease the passage and conquest of the empire. But it hasn't done much good. The prisoners on arcose were all put down without much thought. An when on earth... I came to the realization it wasn't military we were attacking but plan cities before the heroes of hte planet arrived. Even to certain terms fighting our own that had turned to defend the planet. But EVEN if I did ever consider such action. None could topple the queen. It would be a pipe dream to save the slaves or change things. It would just rouse the saiyans spirit for war and fight against me. Killing more then it would aid. One man can only do so much against rising storm." Briefly looking towards the sky above. Letting the sky above take in as a splendid view. Wondering back to his people briefly from the conversation poking at the old memories. He did wonder on things and if he was making wrong choices. If his spot in this empire was doing any good at all. When so far all it was getting him was more dead possibly friend and good men. And what friends he did have were turning tail and backs against it. A lonely feeling having lost ones planet, people, an slowly even the saiyan friends he had made.

Xylo felt like his heart stopped beating for a moment. The androids reaction to his speech could mean two very different things: He was disgusted by the notion, or he had thought about it himself before. The brief moment of silence felt like decades passing to the Namekian. Eventually, Icarus sighed, staring up at Xylo with lifeless eyes. A chill ran down the tall warriors spine as he waited for the words to escape Icarus. The race-less robot spoke, saying the thought had indeed come to him before; but he found it unlikely that he'd ever be able to do anything on his own.
The Namekian couldn't help but grin. He's got this in the bag! If Icarus was already planning on such a thing, this would be a cake-walk! Regardless, he knew he had to keep his composure.
"You wouldn't be alone in this Icarus. I've been recruiting Saiyans of the lower class for the past month! As we speak, I've already recruited over a hundred Saiyans to our cause! The Raddittsu District and the Wastelands have many non-Saiyan soldiers as well as exiled warriors, we just need to get them to join us." The Namekian extended his arm, requesting to shake his possible allies hand. "You won't need to face this storm alone, Icarus. If we work together then we can make this world a better place. What do you say?"

Icarus stared blankly at first looking upon Xylo a little surprised the man so forthcoming in the end. He had danced around touchy subject but appeared now to be rather quick to show his hand. "You know... I could kill you rather easily if I desired? You must be really brave or a fool to be so open with such plans of betrayal and possible regicide." He'd speak in a emotionless tone with only a small smile upon his lips. Making it hard to tell if he was serious or possibly considering what to do to Xylo for such wors. To fingers pointing at the men as after a few moments a small light of ki would gather at his fingers tips. Wondering if Xylo knew how outmatched he was. "I've been stuck in my own thoughts for awhile now. I know of what reward comes with loyalty...." Firing a beam that if Xylo remained still would shoot past him as a thin burning line of Ki. Near but avoiding him. Burning through a nearby wall at the edge of the garden as after a few moments of silence and steam rising from a hole in the stone. A body would fall out revealing a ease dropper. likely a watcher of some elite or a nosy guard.
"But I'd be lying if I sad of late the cost of loyalty is somewhat to high... Most I held dear have fled this empire. An those I still hold close would either never truly accept my thoughts and my mind... Or they lay in the lowest of the low in this caste system. The slaves I care for I can only do so much for. Perhaps it is time such plans of yours are taken too to give some people finally a chance to be free of this planet." Letting out a sigh as his internal systems sent out a message to the saiba squad. An within moments a group of blundering yet colorful saiba's would appear poking the corpse several times before dragging it away. Thankfully there troop count was low with most the army gone to the invasion and even more so dead from said invasion. It wouldn't be hard for a few guards to hide the body. An if Xylo planned to ever used this against him who would believe him? It'd be easier to pin the death on Xylo should Icarus prove to dislike him. "I didn't like that one... been watching me since I got back. It would be dangerous to have let him go... As for your plan. Should this come to pass I may consider my services but only if you actually have a force to keep the slaves and weakest of the people safe and out of the crossfire. If you go rushing out for power alone and do nothing but get the innocence killed I can promise I would assure you don't make this planet alive. However I'd like to give you the benefit of the doubt in that you are a thinking man who does have plans instead of simple rebellion like attacks like the saiyans would think of if they were in the lead." Crossing his arms behind his back once more still giving cold emotionless eyes. Curious if Xylo actually cared for the lesser beings or not. Power was a drug more addictive then any other. He had ot be sure this man didn't only seek control or Vegeta for his own selfish gains. If it could aid the lowest of the low though... Perhaps there could be a light to this talk of treason.

The Namekian tensed up a bit at Icarus' response. His words and his actions suggested he was toying with the idea of ending the Namekian's life right here and now. He couldn't back down now, however. He just showed his hand, he had to keep a cool composure! The tiny orb of Ki illuminated Xylo's face slightly as he spoke with sternness. "Kill me if you wish, I know I am nowhere near you in strength, so it would be no trouble to end me." His eyes met Icarus' with an intensity that was not there before. Xylo was determined to prove he was serious about this and not simply a weak fool to be tossed aside.
Icarus continued speaking, saying he has been toiling with the idea for a long time. He also spoke of his distaste for the lack of loyalty in the empire, seeing as many powerful warriors had defected just recently.
Suddenly, the tiny orb of Ki raced forwards, whizzing past Xylo's head and impacting on someone who was hidden in the shadows. The Saiyan spy dropped to the ground with a thud as Icarus explained his reasoning. "Don't worry, I've been letting those I recruit know that hurting innocents will not bode well, even gave a couple of the more rowdy soldiers examples of their possible punishments should they fail to heed that request. There's no need for slaves and non-combatants to take pain to be liberated."
The Mazoku Leader turned, watching as the Saibamen hoisted the soldier's corpse up and carried it away, huffing and puffing at the weight of the warrior. As he viewed this admittedly comical sight, he began to speak to the android once more. "During a battle I might seem as careless and thoughtless as the Saiyan's we are attempting to overthrow, but there's a mind hidden under this green skin of mine. Clearly I am not as intelligent as a super-computer such as yourself, but I take pride in my knowledge of warfare. History won't repeat itself in the coming days... This world will be changed for the better."

Icarus classed his arms behind him and looked to the sky for several moments. Reaching his hand out for a moment having one of his drones appear shortly after flying from a distance. A small thing not very large at all like a small bird flutter by landing shortly there after upon his shoulder. Like a bug or bird in shape and metal giving off a small sound of fluttering wings as a needle like nose was presented as it kept to his shoulder for now. His expression still emotionless but lightly building a bit more serious. "Still though, I don't deal in partial planning and broken numbers. This will rely heavily on who you have at your disposal as well as you resources. So you couldn't start any type of battles in the lower districts. You'd need to take the fight directly to the palace and or to the elite housing. A head on collisions fast and strong. Perhaps even several more stealth driven plans going on at the same time. But regardless I also only deal with those fully devoted to their plans.... From what I've gathered in study. Your people can regenerate... BUT. Well. From the war reports of past battles in the past. I believe coupling that with my private study you also need your head intact... for this to work?" Offering a hand for Xylo to come closer.
"If you wish my cooperation. Then come closer... my drone here will install a small chip within your head. It will allow me to find you until its removed which I can also do rather easily. I don't know you very well. An if this was anything else more minor then totally rebellion... I'd give you a little more benefit on the doubt. But Kouda's likely reference won't suffice in this... I want to be able to find you even if you don't want to be found. This is my term on top with the fact no slaves will be killed or at least kept as minor as possible in the damages....I also assume you know how... detrimental it could be to refuse my terms?" Xylo likely wasn't a fool in fact he seemed quite good and playing his words. But Icarus wasn't going to allow someone who may just flee if his plans fail get off scottfree. OR worse like other warriors simply throw away lives for a ill planned battle. Enough saiyans had died for something like that already. If Xylo wanted this to work and to get out with his own life. He'd accept this terms. Otherwise even if he escaped this day it wouldn't take long for every saiyan on Vegeta to be hunting him. Icarus wanted a more controlled ally for this. At least until after all was settled and the slaves could leave. They'd work out Vegeta's fate if victory was actually achieved.

"It's doubtful any army we muster would need to begin the assault in the lower districts. The only thing we need to hit is the palace itself. Perhaps it would make things a bit simpler if you were to move the slaves who work here somewhere safe the day of the invasion? It might tip off the guards if they notice a lack of servants, but it shouldn't be much of a problem." Xylo was going to continue, but Icarus' mention of Namekian regeneration cause him to stop and listen instead. "Y-yes... The head is required for regeneration amongst my people. Why is it you ask?"
A small drone fluttered into view as Icarus continued. The android explained that he wanted a bit of leverage just in case things went south. Xylo chuckled at the notion, moving forwards to accept the tracking chip. "I see... Cautious, as I'd expect from a calculative being such as yourself. I presume you'd be more inclined to trust me had I some type of proof of my alliance with Kouda other than my brief appearance at the War of Arcose, but I have no such thing." The drone advanced, planting a small chip into the top of Xylo's head, at the base of his odd fin. It embedded deep into the skin, making it hard to remove without an expert's touch.
He rubbed his scalp in annoyance, grunting from the slight irritation the drone caused. "Now that you've got your assurance that I won't turn tail and run should this fail... We have two options. Either you could show me around the palace, perhaps show me possible weak spots to begin the rebellion from, or I can simply take my leave. Your choice."
