(Thread PL: 3,017)
The Eastern Lands were known for the several forests and quietness.. or at least it was like that most of times. Many creatures and animals could be spotted around, especially in the thick forests. Trails could be find through such forests, these paths usually were a reference to guide to travelers. Unfortunately that day was different, the sky was clouded and probably it was about to rain. Several animals could be seen alarmed as if they felt what was to come, most of them were looking for their own dens and shelters.
Far away, nearby a trail it was possible to spot a humanoid figure- a man that was standing on a tree's branch while he was leaning against its trunk. The man had a muscular build, with spiky black hair as dark as his eyes. His attire was pretty much simple, he was wearing a blue dogi with wristbands and dark boots. He looked like a Human by appearance, but he was a Saiyan that was born on Earth- not on Vegeta like many others. Also, even if he was a Saiyan, he didn't seem to have a tail. The Eastern Lands were his birthplace and also where he grew up, as a matter of fact he knew many things about the place and its surroundings. That place brought him back to old memories, like the arrival of the two Saiyans that left him by himself without a house and nobody else. Cornatto let such thoughts go and decided to not think about them anymore, he realized it was pointless to reflect about the past at that point.
He glanced around and he couldn't seem to spot anyone around- not even animals. Probably most of the creatures were already burrowed into some kind of shelter while the Saiyan was lost into his thoughts. "Looks like a bit of water bothers them." - he said to himself, letting out a chuckle. Even if he didn't seem so, he was really bored. It was not the weather impacting his mood, Cornatto wasn't sensible to that kind of thing. He felt rusty even if he trains during most of his free time, but his combat prowess was looking for strong opponents to face and they were not easy to find.
It has been a long time since he met a strong warrior and had a good fight, even if there were many powerful fighters on Earth- and not only Humans and Saiyans, Cornatto was not aware about other alien species living on the planet. Either way, he knew what to do next- find a powerful warrior and fight him! Those were his exact thoughts, but it wasn't really easy to find someone in his surroundings and he was not surprised about it. "..How unfortunate there is nobody around here.." - he said to himself before looking around once again and letting out a sigh. "Perhaps I'd look for a shelther or something.." - he thought before jumping off the tree and glancing upwards. He didn't know when, but the rain was imminent. He decided to follow the trail, walking slowly in the hope to find someone or somewhere where he could find a shelter for himself.

The feeling of rain had bothered Letrune - she managed to have her umbrella ready, a bright pink one, but it was still just one umbrella, and otherwise, the pink dress remains as cover. Having them all wet... A terrible thought, even while she still got underdress and rubber boots on (I mean, can you be safe and dry enough in a rain?). She hastened her pace across the forest, in hope to find a small covered area.
She was on the way when a rather sized human(oid?) landed a bit afar from her, his back towards her. The zoanthrope decided that she does not really wishes to start a conversation, because if someone had lounged up a tree branch, then they probably need some time to their thoughts - so, she slowed her walk, and let the other guy do his things. She walks on her merry way, ignoring the person and goes on, just fast enough to escape from the oncoming storm, but not too fast to make him disturbed. However, she might just get ready for running any way.

The Saiyan didn't take note of the person that was behind himself, the most important thing was to find a shelter but there wasn't any nearby. Then, the Saiyan realized his former house could still be there, an old wood building- its size was decent but was no first class residence. He spent all of his childhood into that building with his parents, the Saiyan spent entire days to train there with the hope to become stronger.
There weren't other options, he was definitely sure there were no other covered areas- or at least not enough to cover yourself from a storm. Though, he knew that he should have thought about that earlier instead of wasting time standing on a tree. Though, he didn't seem to have any rush since he was still walking slowly. The Saiyan thought the storm was not so imminent as he thought and that he had enough time to find a shelther or reach his old residence.
Suddenly, a rumble could be heard echoing in the entire forest and an awkward silence to follow before water drops were falling from the sky- the storm had begun, it was raining heavily- as heavy as the wind that was blowing wildly. Great.. - he thought with obvious sarcasm before moving to the side, near a tree. "I could still fly at low altitude, I'd be able to reach the place in a few minutes.." - he muttered before letting out a sigh, looking around and taking note of another person in his surroundings. He couldn't see or tell if she was a Human or not, the weather was pretty bad and it didn't help to see clearly, but either way he decided to raise a hand towards her in order to call her out. "Hey!"

Letrune was minding her business when the rain started to drop, making her to get slightly more on the edge... And the person in front of her seems to be unsure where to go. He even shouts on her. The rain starts to fall more as she gets close, and the wind makes her umbrella swing a bit around. "Can I help, perhaps...?" She asks, raising the umbrella upwards and a bit towards him; it might be helpful to let him join her... Nothing can go wrong if you are good, right? Besides the obvious "everything goes wrong" ways.

The Saiyan looked at the person carefully as soon as she approached him and he had immediately noticed a great difference between her and a Human. She was a sentient like himself, but her physical appearance was pretty much different, she seemed more like an actual sentient animal like a Human.
Cornatto tilted his head in multiple directions as he examined her curiously, but at last he realized she was just a person like any other. He was not entirely sure if she was a fighter or not, but he knew her dress wouldn't fit a fight. Either way, he was also curious about her umbrella, he never saw such a thing truth be told. He was usually forced to find a shelter or any covered place like his former house or just deal with it and stay under the rain. But the object's purpose was clear to the Saiyan as soon as he noticed that he was also partly covered from the storm.
"Well, this is much better already.. -Uhm, anyway.. do you know a covered place around here? I mean, I know one but it isn't that close." - he asked, crossing his arms as he held his gaze at her.

She feels a bit strange on Cornatto's looks, but he seems pretty okay so far. So, she is slightly more cautious. ...And she finds it a bit strange that someone does not knows what an umbrella is. He probably never had rain where he lives?
"I... I don't know any, sorry. I was trying to find one, like some restaurant or a bar or something such, a safe place to be while the storm is raging." She does not adds that this might even be under a bridge or just tight canopy. Nobody needs to know these details... Or that she is not really ready to go home yet.

The Saiyan kept his gaze at Letrune, looking at her curiously as he tried to understand what she meant to say. He thought it would have been difficult to find such places in the forest, but not impossible. There might have been a small bar or two to let people relax on their way to a city.
Cornatto couldn't really tell since he used to hunt down his own food, but he thought he could still help Letrune to find a shelter. "I see.. well, you know.. I believe it'd be a long way to find a bar or a restaurant. But, there could be a small bar on the path. I know a shelter but it isn't really close unless we fly." - he said, looking around his surroundings, he didn't know where to go and probably the best choice would have been to join her, so both of them would find a shelter to cover themselves from he storm. "Well, since it wouldn't be comfortable flying to the place.. -or at least I guess so. Probably it is better if we walk until we find something, that way both of us would be fine." - crossing his arms before shifting his gaze upon the trail in front of them.

((Sorry for the awfully short thing. I got no idea what to put in.))
Letrune gives a smile for him. "Well, we can just try and find some place, right? There must be something..." she says. "And how would you fly, exactly? Just that hovering thing I saw some can do?"

The wind was blowing stronger than before and the sky was darker, the rain was followed by several thunders, the Saiyan glanced upwards and let out a sigh. He realized that he should have looked for a shelter earlier and not wasted his time standing on a tree. Cornatto looked at Letrune curiously as soon as he noticed her smile, why was she smiling? Did he say something funny? But either way, he didn't think that it was of any importance since it wasn't really a negative thing.
He offered a nod in agreement to Letrune. "Yes, there is probably some place around here.. or at least I believe so." - he said even if he wasn't entirely sure there was any kind of shelter around the forest. The Saiyan looked at her with a confused expression on his face, hovering? He didn't really know what she meant but also why? Didn't she know how to fly? Cornatto thought it was.. odd, every fighter should know the Bukujustu but the Saiyan didn't know if Letrune was effectively a fighter or not. "Well.. you see, I don't really know how to explain it." - He didn't really know how to explain such a thing, so he decided to just show her.
The Saiyan jumped up slightly, but he didn't land on the ground, he was raised from the ground. Shortly after, he turned horizontally like a bed. "I suppose you can sit on my back, if you are able to hold that.. thing." - he told her, pointing out at the umbrella.

So, this guy seems to be able to fly... Not bad, but she never really cared for it, flight is, in and of itself, something that happens to others, in her own opinion. When Cornatto gets horizontal, she is weirded out, of course. "Or, well, we can just walk and talk, perhaps?" She says... Then hesitantly gets over his back, if he lets it happen. "Um, pardon me, it is all right for you?"

The Saiyan stared at Letrune blankly for a moment, talk? Talk about what? Actually they didn't know each other and a conversation wouldn't have been a bad idea. "Well, if you really wish to talk, we can always do it while we fly.. or after we find a place. I won't fly too fast, wouldn't want you to fall down." - he told her, though why should he care if she could fall down or not? Cornatto thought she was a fighter like many others and realized she could just recover herself, still being cautious would be better. Now that she was a fighter or not didn't really matter, though she didn't actually seem that strong if he looked at her physical body. But, he knew she could have been hiding a powerful energy though, so he couldn't tell.
He let her on his back, without showing any huge sign of struggle. What does she mean? He didn't really get it, what did she actually ask? Morally, it was unusual to him but as he said earlier, it would be the best thing to do. Or at least that's what he thought. "Just don't tell anyone that I've given you a ride. -I mean, I am no popular person but still, just in case you meet an acquaintance of mine." - he said as he kept his eyes closed, he let out a sigh before opening them and glancing around his surroundings. "Are you ready? I'd suggest you to hold yourself tight. You never know."

((No idea what else to write.))
She thinks and holds onto the clothing he wears. She gets comfy, lightweightly holding herself and the umbrella above their heads. "Ready... If you are ready as well..."

Cornatto glanced towards the umbrella before offering a nod to Letrune, the Saiyan took off and flew away at a regular speed in order to avoid that Letrune could fall down. He let out a sigh as he looked down, attempting to find any kind of shelter around the Eastern Lands where they could stay- as long as it rained at least. Cornatto was wondering why, why was he giving a ride to a stranger? Didn't he feel like leaving her on the trail? He thought it was too late to just let her walk while both of them could find a shelter quickly.
"This place is much better than any city, isn't it.. even with a storm. Though, there have been quite a few rampages, I guess towns had better moments. Anyway I suggest you to check out our surroundings as well, we might fly over a shelter and not notice!" - he told her before letting out a chuckle, in that moment the Saiyan closed his eyes briefly, taking a deep breath as he tried to enjoy the sound of rain. It was really enjoyable to his ears, that's why he didn't mind it that much. "So.. where were you headed-" Cornatto didn't finish his question, as soon as he realized that she already told him earlier. Though, he didn't even know her name and he thought that asking it wouldn't have been a bad idea. "Uhm, I mean.. anyway, what's your name? I am Goizen."

Letrune grabs on the clothings and holds the umbrella as much as she can. The raindrops fluctuate all around and as much as she can, she tries to cover them both, but the strong wind shakes it around in her hands. "There is a shelter! A small gazebo, about to your right." she says as they go. "Letrune Inedil, and I am heading home... I hope I'll get there in a bit, these fights are pretty bad for me, so far... I am afraid lately."

Cornatto didn't really notice Letrune's struggle with the umbrella, he kept his gaze down as he looked for a shelter. Unfortunately, there didn't seem to be many. But, at a certain point, something else occupied the Saiyan's mind; his dinner. Skipping a meal would have been a hard shot to him, not even the end of the world could beat a Saiyan's appetite and he didn't know what he could hunt down that day, the choices were almost limitless because he knew it would have been hard to look for a specific animal in a hurry and some times he had to deal with what he could find. Checking out a restaurant could have been a waste of time because of the invasions. "I wouldn't be surprised if I tried to look for decent restaurant and find nothing.." - he muttered lightly but he didn't really know what he could find.
His mind returned from the dreamland as soon as he heard Letrune pointing out a gazebo, Cornatto let out a sigh in relief. "Finally.. good job." - he told her before descending towards the small gazebo, it wasn't really impressive but better than nothing. The Saiyan entered into the gazebo, giving a moment to Letrune to step down before resting his own feet on the ground.
"Fights? Afraid?.. Uhm, I don't really understand what you mean. Anyway, I am Goizen." - he told her before crossing his arms, looking out of the gazebo.
