[Thread Power Level: 286.533] [Ki Suppression On. Current PL: 20.000]The saiyans were pretty much doomed due to their decision to wage war on Earth. On top of that, if Natto remembered correctly, Zucceta didn’t solely declare war on Earth; she challenged the whole universe, and that makes you a lot of enemies. Now, utterly defeated, the saiyans would most likely be vulnerable to attacks from their enemies, face rebellion on the planets they conquered and made part of their Empire. A small part of Natto wanted to go to Planet Vegeta and reclaim its throne and, therefore, try to bring a new age to the saiyan race as a whole, but most of him new well enough that such quest was doomed even before beginning; the saiyans weren’t a race that carved for peace. No. Most of them were just like Zucceta: suicidal and enraged, caring little for their own safety as long as they could have some blood on their hand, and that pissed Natto off too much. He wanted the saiyan race to survive, but he knew well enough that he couldn’t be their savior, or at least the savior of most.
But at least there were different saiyans. They were the minority, yes, but they existed. Saiyans who were like Natto, Riku and Tomoroko: kind and gentle, while still having a keen battle sense and a love for the heat of battle, but didn’t like the meaningless chaos and mayhem, nor the needless blood thirst. Also, there were saiyans like Aspa, that with due time could learn to change his ways and become better. With that in mind, and with the previous knowledge that there were saiyans on Earth, Natto took upon himself to find them and get to know them. If they reached his expectations, than there would be hope for the survival of the saiyan race, and he would once again have a goal in life. ”And maybe this way I can protect at least a small but meaningful part of our kin, father…” he thought to himself, with a hopeful smile on his face as he discretely flew across the blue skies of Earth.
His ki energy was heavily suppressed, since he was still considered by many a threat and an enemy, so he had to keep some sort of low profile. Natto focused on sensing the energy signatures around him and scanning with his scouter. When he was near the islands on the southern part of the planet, his scouter beeped showing a power level of around twenty thousand on a nearby island. Shortly after that he felt the power and that was a good head start. That power level would be some elite tier power. Still pretty low for his standards, but it matched his suppressed power level, so he hoped he wouldn’t scare the person immediately. ”Let’s check this one out!” he decided, flying towards the power level at a good speed, but without his ki aura around him. “HAAAAAA!” Toma shouted, his golden hair and Ki surrounding him as he stood in his battle pose, sweating and keeping his body tense. He had been training as hard as he could, hoping to harness the power of the Super Saiyan transformation at will. His wife had managed it. His friend Athren had managed it.And Daiki had managed it as well. So why couldn’t Toma?! What the hell was wrong with him?! “GRR… UNG… HRNG!” He grunted out, the golden aura still surrounding him. He was desperately trying to cling to the power. This great energy that was buried deep within his genes. But it failed. The golden aura disapeered and Toma feel over onto his knees and palms, panting and sweating, as his hair and eyes changed back to normal. “Damn it!” He shouted, raising a hand into the air, and slamming it down into the dirt. “I still can’t get it!” He yelled.
After about a minute, Toma stood back up, having recovered from the drain to his Ki that the temporary Super Saiyan transformation had caused. He had a family now. A wife, and children. He needed to master how to use this power, or else he was going to lose them as he had lost his first family back on Sylor, before he had come to Earth. It was then that he felt a Ki signature closing in. It was a familiar power. Not because he knew the person. Not personally, at least. But he knew of them. They had a massive power spike not too long ago, and it had felt similar to when Athren had first achieved his Super Saiyan transformation in West City. Perhaps this person had come looking for a fight? He’d hoped not, as Toma couldn’t afford to die.
Toma turned and looked in the direction of the person, waiting for them to show themselves.

”Hang on a second! His power is skyrocketing… No! It’s struggling a lot! And this feeling… It’s definitely a saiyan!” he couldn’t ever mistake the amazing feeling the super saiyan transformation had, and that person with that low power level was almost tapping into it, which led him to the obvious conclusion. ”His power must be suppressed in some way.” which was not something too out of the ordinary; plenty of fighters user power suppressors and weights to put their body into some serious strains and helping them improve faster. This was especially true when you talk about saiyans, since their injuries and strains help them grow way more than any other race on the universe. That feeling made Natto smile, since he nailed on his first try! He found a saiyan on Earth.
When he was approaching the man, he noticed that the man turned towards him and that made him arch one of his eyebrows. ”Not distracted with his training… Good! Means he is a warrior for sure. Now the only question is: what kind of saiyan is this guy?!” and with that question in his mind, Natto landed on the island a few feet in front of Toma. Natto looked like the average member of the Saiyal Solar Empire: he had a scouter on his left year, wore a full battle suit and had his tail tightly wrapped around his waist. One of his distinguishing features was a deep cross-shaped scar on his left cheek that was quite prominent. He had serious eyes, but they lacked that bloodthirsty look most saiyans had and he was smiling.
– Guess I’m lucky! Found a saiyan on my first try! And by the looks of it, a very strong one indeed. – he said in a mildly excited tone. Natto folded his arms before speaking again. – I’m Natto. Who are you and why you don’t seem to be part of the Empire? – he asked bluntly despite his small smile.
Natto was testing him with that question. He wanted to know how he would react towards the Saiyan Solar Empire, as it would be crucial to determine what was going to happen from this point forwards. The young saiyan warrior kept his power suppressed, since he didn’t know that Toma would have recognized his energy signature. Word Count: 386

Ninjin sat there watching Toma as he continued to push himself harder and harder. The children lay on the grass near her as they where enjoying the fresh air and sunlight by slumbering quite peacefully. Even as the area rumbled slightly with her husband’s attempted transformation. As she watched him attempt to transform she had her hand clenched as if apprehensive of his transformation. She watched as his power skyrocketed and the golden aura surrounded him. :: So close Toma… So close push yourself just that little more. Just past the limit… ::
The internal encouragement almost brought out from her as she had her own power suppressed down at that of a basic human’s power as to avoid pretty much all detection. As he failed to transform and the anger burst from him she felt this and was about to stand up when she felt another power. Equal in strength to her own yet familiar as it moved in quickly. Staying down and keeping her presence quelled she awaited to see who this person was. When they revealed themselves and dropped down from the sky she felt the ki around him. ::This ki… This is one of the few I felt during the invasion that flashed higher than anyone except Reikiko… Though for a moment I could swear that he was stronger than her… Intersting why would he be here? ::
Making sure the children would be safe she stood up as the man looked Toma directly in the eyes. She was close enough to hear him speaking out loud and she took the initiative to speak up. “He is not a member of the Empire because the Empire is nothing to either of us. Taking away most things that both of us held dear in one way or another. As for my husband’s name I will let him tell you that.”
Her tone was firm and yet not serious almost quizzical in nature. As she herself was testing to see Natto’s response to her. Ninjin had her strength perfectly suppressed yet every once in a while she would let out small spats of strength so Natto could easily feel that she was holding back as they spoke. Yet with her body language she stood between Natto and their children who peacefully rested behind her. “I will introduce myself as my husband will do the same for himself. I am Ninjin Nedrag. Former Turtle Hermit and Daughter of former Saiyan Council-Member Ruto Nedrag.”
Standing there she made certain that she was looking directly at the pair from her position up behind them.

Toma looked over the man that seemed to drop down, smiling casually and questioning who Toma was. Toma’s displeasure was not hidden, the scowl evident on his face. He had to admit, he did hold some animosity towards Saiyan of the Solar Empire, ever since he had learned he was abandoned by them as a baby simply for being born a tad weak.
Toma turned, and started walking over to where Ninjin was. He stood infront of her, making sure to position himself between Ninjin and Natto, as well as protecting the children, too. “My name is Toma. I’m not a part of the empire because, apperently, I was banished from Vegeta at birth.” He spoke, raising an arm above his head. A large, spinning disc of Ki formed above him, as he continued to look at Natto.
“I will give you the option to leave peacefully. I don’t want to have to shed any blood, especially infront of my wife and children. But I will not just stand idly by if you’ve come to threaten us. It is your choice, Saiyan. Leave peacefully or be prepared to fight for your life.” Toma spoke in a very matter of fact tone. Sure, he knew this person was a Super Saiyan, and could probably kill him. But he’d be damned if he didn’t make sure to give it his all to protect those he loved.

Natto failed to notice at first, but there was also a woman there. Her power level was lower than the man and his own suppressed power, but it oscillated quite a bit, reaching sometimes a level that could be considered an elite tier for Vegetean standards. She sort of looked like a saiyan, but that red hair of hers made Natto doubt if she was a kin or just an earthling. Before the man could answer, the woman spoke for him, saying that he wasn’t a member of the Empire and that it didn’t mean anything to them, which made Natto’s smile widen a little bit, but such action couldn’t be properly interpreted yet, as he still looked like a member of the army due to his battle suit and scouter. She mentioned that her “husband” would be the one to introduce himself and, before the man could speak again, she introduced herself as Ninjin Nedrag. – Nedrag?! – he couldn’t hide his surprise on hearing such a familiar name and, when she spoke again, he realized who she was: the daughter of a former council-member of the empire.
”I see… She must be a hybrid then…” he concluded. While she was firm of tone and calm of posture, the man was quite aggressive, maybe because he felt the need to protect his mate. He said that his name was Toma and that he wasn’t part of the empire because he was banished at birth. That comment made Natto sigh a little bit. ”A truly dysfunctional race we are…” that conclusion had a bitter taste on his mouth, but his romantic view of the saiyan race was already destroyed anyway. Natto arched his eyebrow when he saw the man raising his hand above his head and forming a technique that he knew pretty well what it was. ”That thing again? This is annoying…” he couldn’t help but remember the battle against Jarvis when he, by underestimating his opponent, lost his right arm. Luckily, Natto had a senzu bean ready to be eaten, but he wasn’t willing to let that technique hit him again. Toma spoke again, saying that he could leave peacefully as he didn’t want to shed any blood especially in front of his wife and children. – Children? – Natto asked, and then he noticed that there were a couple of very young kids behind the woman and they all had tails. The warrior in front of him said that he wouldn’t let him harm his family, and that made Natto crack an honest smile.
”That’s good! He is protecting his family and gave me a chance to leave peacefully! He isn’t like the average saiyan!” and that thought made him feel some butterflies inside his stomach.
– Destructo Disk. I know that technique and it won’t work. – he said and then, he released all of his base power.
[Ki Suppression Off. Current PL: 286.533]
Natto showed his true power on his base form. He was, indeed, the strongest saiyan alive and he wanted them to be well aware of what stood in front of them. But, even though he released his power, he didn’t move nor lost his smile. – I admire your attitude Toma… And you chose a good partner, Ninjin! You two aren’t like the average saiyan and I’m glad for that. I just needed to check it out first. – he said, chuckling a bit. – Toma, if you could dispel your attack, I would be glad. I mean you two no harm and I will gladly introduce myself properly as soon as I don’t have to be mindful of your technique. – his tone was oddly friendly for a saiyan, and his eyes were a way too kind. Ninjin stood there keeping an eye on the other two men. The latent sense was certainly lingering upon her children who lay behidn the two of them. As Toma moved over in front of her inwardly she sighed at him as she knew that he was fully only wanting to protect her as she could not protect him anymore. Cause of her own inability to transform anymore made this a bad situation. Especially when the newcomer released his full power. She nodded at Toma as she moved to his side and placed her hand upon his shoulder. "I feel that he is not lying Toma. I feel that his intent is pure right now. Or at least that is what my sense is telling me. So lets hear him out and then we can decide what to do..."
Speaking softly as she turned to look at Natto. Before everything had happened with Toma and his Kienzan she had noticed that Natto had had a slight reaction to her words as she introduced herself. So to her it meant that her family name must of still been known. Her own hand was flattened as if to create the same technique as Toma but instead of using it she had restrained herself from using the technique. Flexing her hand back to a normal resting position she smiled at Toma to try and calm him back down. "I happened to notice that slight quirk when it was that I introduced myself... I take it that it means my father's name is still known out there, but yet again I felt my cousin leading all of you inside of that conquest attempt that failed... "
This newest admission was not unknown to Ninjin and Toma as she had told him a long time ago about her cousins. Turning back to look at the children who where still resting peacefully behind them.

Toma looked back at his wife when she walked up to him, placing her hand on his shoulder. She felt that the man wasn’t lying, and he knew she had the ability to ki sense far better than anyone else. If she felt that this man was being honest, he had no reason to doubt her. The ki disc over his hand dissipated back into nothingness, as he smiled, his expression softening.
His son crawled over to him, tugging on his lose pant leg. “Dad...dy…” The boy chocked out, as Toma raised an eyebrow, looking down at the infant. He smiled, leaning down, and picking up the boy, holding him close. “Come here, son.” Toma spoke, as the boy wraped his small arms as far as he could around Toma’s neck, leaning against him and closing his eyes.
Toma now held the little boy and he turned back to Natto. “Well then, Natto, if you’re here to be a friend, then welcome. I’m sorry about threatening you. I’ve always been a bit antsy when it comes to Saiyans that are from Vegeta, as most try to kill me. Even my so called ‘cousin’, the current Queen, Zuccetta.” He said, as the baby boy slept peacefully against his shoulder.

Ninjin placed her hand on her husband’s shoulder and nodded at him saying that she didn’t think that Natto was lying. The young saiyan warrior nodded twice when she said that, like he was trying to confirm her feeling that his intentions were pure. He was glad that she vowed for hearing what he had to say, even though he wasn’t quite sure of what exactly he was about to say to the saiyan couple that stood in front of him. He was feeling quite nervous, truth be told, and a single drop of cold sweat ran down his right temple. At least she didn’t seem like she would use any technique and even relaxed her arm.
Toma, in response to Ninjin’s words also dispelled his own technique, and that made Natto sighs discretely in relief and widens his honest smile a little more. One of the saiyan babies with cute little tails waving from one side to the other approached his father and tugged on his pants. Natto stared at the kid with a curious look on his face. ”So young! Why aren’t they on an incubator? But they are so cute! Never thought I would see saiyans this young walking around. Haha!” he thought to himself for a little while, until Ninjin began speaking again, catching his full attention.
Natto nodded when she mentioned that her father’s name was still known. The young saiyan warrior never met him in person, but, like any other former member of the Empire, he knew pretty well who he was. What startled him, though, was when Ninjin spoke of a cousin. A cousin who led them towards a failed attempt to conquer. ”Who coul… Wait a second!” Natto’s eyes widened a lot and he arched both his eyebrows as he jumped into a conclusion that the queen might be that relative. His suspicion was confirmed when Toma spoke. The saiyan apologized for threatening him and then said that the cousin they were talking about was, indeed, the queen, Zucceta.
– You are relatives of the queen? I didn’t expect that! – he admitted and then he sighed. Natto took off his scouter from his left year, since he didn’t want to incur the risk of being overheard as he wasn’t sure if Kyuri managed to secure a safe line of communication. He feared that he might be heard by the Empire officials.
– And you don’t need to apologize, Toma. I understand you… Not so long ago… Days ago, truth be told… I was the strongest soldier of the Saiyan Solar Empire, who commanded the troops who invaded South Capitol. – he admitted, gazing away from them and staring at the sea as he felt embarrassed for his previous actions. – I was naïve and the queen convinced me that the earthlings were our enemies… It took me this long to realize that the ways of the Solar Empire are wicked! I needed to feel it and see it with my own eyes at the war. The queen didn’t care about the saiyans! She just cared about her own glory and addiction for blood. – he said in a grieving tone, staring back at them. – During the battle against the Blue Banner Army I lost many soldiers and decided to defect from the Empire, as I could no longer be a part of such vile organization. Still… Even though I ordered the saiyans to fall back, no one other than the members of my squad, my friends, complied with my orders. – he sighed again. – Anyway… I lost my best friend, and that’s the price I had to pay for being blind for so long. Well… The reason I’m telling you this story is because… You see… I felt lost… And I couldn’t accept that all saiyans were like those of the Empire! With that in mind I decided to search for saiyans… To get to know them and see if our race is more than that! – he admitted his goal.
After saying that Natto stopped speaking and waited for their reactions. He was nervous and a good observer could easily notice that, as he tried to discretely bite his lips while waiting. Word Count: 703 Ninjin Nedrag

"I really do not care for any of my relatives save for one and I cannot find her at the moment. Last I met her we where inside the mountains and trained with one another. Rather enjoyed that day." Smiling widely as she leaned against Toma as her son approached and was picked up by him. With her son out of the way she turned away and walked over to pick up her daughter. Cradling her within her arm as she took position beside Toma. Listening to Natto speak up and began to think on his words. It was obvious just what the Saiyan people did over the years and just how war like they became. This kind of made Ninjin happy that she was not born and lived on Vegeta. As she figured that this would be what would happen with her and her children. That was something she would not allow unless they actually wanted to defend the planet.
"You say you feel lost and you are one of the strongest that are out there correct Natto? You say you are so that means you are a Super Saiyan as I... was... and my husband is becoming. So then why not do this. Create another way for saiyans to live. Instead of fighting and dieing to a queen or king or council that gives no shits about them..." Shaking her head as she smiled widely and against Toma. She looked up into his eyes and winked at him. Turning back to look at Natto she sighed as she looked down at the ground.
"Is there others that need some assistance Natto? Some others that could use shelter as they recuperate from wounds that where given during the war?" Speaking up as she had an idea of what to offer to him but she would not offer unless she could talk it over with Toma.

“We may technically be relatives to the Queen, but that does not mean we care for her. Before Zuccetta became a Super Saiyan and took over the SSE, I fought her and defeated her in South Capitol. That was back when we were both much weaker. I’ll admit, I’m impressed she passed me so quickly.” He sighed, looking down at this son, his hair flashing gold for a moment. “It upsets me greatly that she can attain the transformation, but I have been unable to for the longest time. One of my friends, a Saiyan named Athren, was the first to attain the Super Saiyan transformation in a thousand years. And even he was felled in battle not long after…” He said, sighing. He almost began thinking that there might not be a point to all this. That just because he became a Super Saiyan didn’t mean he was exactly going to be useful. But it’d be better than nothing.
Natto began to explain his story about how he was a commander for the Saiyans and how he helped invade Earth, only to be abandoned by his Queen and become a traitor to the SSE. “Yea, that sounds like her. Zuccetta is totally nuts.” He commented, before placing his free hand to his chin. “Well, if you’re no longer working for her, why not come stay with us for a while? We have plenty of space in our house, and if your squad mates are as kind as you are, I’m sure we could work out some place for you guys. But you’ll need a place to lay low until we figure it out. And out here in the Southern Islands is about as low as you can get.” Toma offered, smiling. He hoped that Ninjin wouldn’t have an issue with it.

Ninjin said that she didn’t care much for any of her relatives, except for an unnamed one that she used to train with on the mountains or something like that, but that she couldn’t find any longer. Natto did a quick nod when she said that. Toma complemented her words by saying that even though they were indeed relatives of the queen, they didn’t care for her and that he even got to fight Zucceta when she was much weaker than she was during the war, when she reached the peak of her power, even surpassing Natto for a moment, until he unlocked the ultimate form: the ascended super saiyan. The saiyan man with the child on his arms even said that it upsets him that she could transform and he could not.
Then, he said a very curious thing: he said that his friend, named Athren, was the first super saiyan in over a thousand years, but shortly after attaining the legendary transformation he was defeated. Natto knew the truth about Athren’s death. ”This guy Athren… He was devoured by that monster Reikiko… And he was his friend… I wonder what they think about her… But, for a first meeting, it will be better if I keep my hatred to myself for a while longer… Let’s get to know each other first.” he decided, not showing much of his emotions when Toma said, but to an empathic observer, it would be possible to notice a small sparkle of rage when Toma mentioned Athren’s fate.
After that, Ninjin mentioned that if Natto was the strongest on the Saiyan Solar Empire, it meant that he was a super saiyan himself, to which he nodded in agreement. – Yes, I was able to unlock the super saiyan transformation… - he said in a rather unhappy tone. He wanted to say more now, but he wanted to listen to them first. She said that she was a super saiyan and that bugged him a little bit; he would save that that question for later. What came after that, however, completely startled him: Ninjin suggested that Natto should create another for saiyan to live.
– Me?! – he asked when she made such a suggestion. ”Can I really do something like that? Would this new proposal attract saiyans?!” he couldn’t help but ask himself such questions. Toma spoke again, saying that since Natto was no longer with the wicked queen, he could stay with them for a while, along with his squad companions as long as they were as nice as Natto. Southern Islands really seemed like an awesome place to lay low for a while, and he wanted that, to recover from what he had lost in war. Natto sighed when Ninjin asked if there were others in need assistance.
– I can’t even express how grateful I am for all of this! I truly am… But before you offer me such hospitality, I feel obliged to warn you about some things… - he said with some grief in his tone and eyes. – I believe I have plenty of enemies… Even though I ordered retreat and didn’t kill anyone on the attack to South Capitol, I’m being held responsible for the deaths… A branch of the Blue Banner’s Army lead by a hybrid saiyan named Jarvis is on a quite unfriendly terms with me, and he is a very dangerous man. – Natto touched his eyes for a bit, closing them. – He killed my best friend, who wasn’t even fighting anymore, and nearly killed my mate, who had just transformed into a super saiyan. He is strong… And he would have probably been on even grounds with me before that… - he opened his eyes again, staring at the two saiyans in front of him.
– Reikiko is also my enemy… I hate her for many things she did, but she also nearly killed my mate and crippled her by destroying her tail. And she had a vile energy surrounding her… An aura of pure evil. And she got interested in fighting me to the death because of the same reason she killed Athren. – he paused for a bit. – Because I have mastered the super saiyan transformation before and… During the war, I managed to ascend even further beyond, to a form I call Ascended Super Saiyan and both Reikiko and Virtual Poi referred to it as Super Saiyan Two. – It made him quite uncomfortable to speak that, but he decided to be totally honest with them. – Still, with all my hatred towards her, I forfeited the fight and allowed both her and Virtual Poi to go to North City and engage Zucceta, and I truly wish this was proof enough to the leader of the Blue Banner Army that I hold no more allegiance towards the Empire. – Natto sighed deeply before continuing, to answer Ninjin’s question. – As for my friends… As of now it’s just me, my mate and her mother… They have the same ideas as I do… My best friend was killed and my other comrade went missing in action after the war. If you guys are still willing to have us for a while, I would appreciate that and I will put my life on the line to protect you from any harm. – he finished his long speech.
His heart was pounding faster and he was completely anxious to their reaction for those words. He hoped to make friends and allies there, since they both seem like good saiyans, the ideal of his race he had been looking for. Word Count: 936

“She passed us both rather quickly Toma. While we actually enjoyed life to its fullest she fell into some pit somewhere and clawed her way out. When she emerged she was stronger than even I had gotten to… and stop beating yourself up over that Toma. I told you the power comes from a need not a want. The Ascension just comes to you it cannot be forced.” Turning to look at Toma she was speaking from her own experience in the ascension to the Super Saiyan state. It had been one of the most stressful days of her entire life. She reached over and lightly touched his shoulder squeezing it lightly before pulling her hand back.
As Toma offered their home to the saiyan refugees she smiled and nodded toward him. The idea had come to her own mind but had wanted to speak with him about it before offering but with him offering it she would back him up on it. What he spoke about the Southern Islands being a great place to lay low was most certainly true. The endless collection of islands would be a great place for Natto and his friends to come and find succor. “I mean why not you on it. The saiyan people still respect strength which you have in spades if you are a Super Saiyan…”
Her words slipped away as she listened to him speak up questioning the hospitality they had extended. It was most certainly true that offering them such a place to recuperate and recover might bring a target upon their heads but if the knowledge that they where the Queen’s relatives got out they would be targeted anyways. So at least with this she would know where the enemies might be coming from. The stare that accompanied his words though allowed the seriousness to slip into the conversation despite her intent to not make it such a way. As he spoke about Reikiko and her aura accompanied with that predatory look in her eyes. Ninjin shivered and looked directly at Natto as she could sympathize with him. She had been the one getting that gaze before this. Then he spoke about ascending beyond the state of a super saiyan.
Snapping her fingers Ninjin let out a noise as she stamped her foot. “I knew it… I knew it. As I was training I felt there was something well out there. As if the Super Saiyan was but the start of a current of power. So I knew it…”
She swung her fist forward as she seemed a little upset over it but still kep herself in control as she felt the burst of energy that rather quickly died down. The golden swirl was uncontrolled as it would be evident rather easily to Natto that Ninjin’s body was incapable of holding the power at the moment. “As for Reikiko… Well she looked at me with the same eyes after Athren’s passing. I was also being targeted by her as well. She stalked me as well and I swore that someday she was going to absorb me as she had Athren. Also bring your mate and her mother here. We can help you heal up completely. If she was beaten as badly as you said I can help as can Toma. As for other comrades of your maybe we can convince them to work with you in the idea that we are coming up with. A place for the saiyans to not be ruled by the whims of just one strong person… but a person that has a heart to stand alongside their strength.”
Looking at him she then turned to Toma and then glanced at the children. “I would gladly allow our children to grow up in a land where the saiyans are not ruled by someone who cared naught but for strength but for other reasons…” Looking at Natto with a little confidence in her eyes as she spoke softly.

“Yes, a Saiyan empire ruled not by strength, but by ones force of will and their determination… that sounds good.” He said, as he thought back to his home planet of Sylor. “And I have a good place to start it. I lived on a planet called Sylor, before I came here to Earth. It was invaded by pirates. I turned into an Oozaru to defend it, but I wasn’t able to control myself…” He spoke, his tone a tad grim. He shook his head, before looking back with a smile. “Long story short, the planet is barren. The surface, at least. For the most part the planet on the inside is fine. Stable, still has a proper atmosphere, and most of the plants and animals are still around when I left. If we could gather a group of Saiyans and some Zeni for equipment… I’m sure we could go back there after we build up our numbers to reform the planet and start a new Saiyan civilzation. It’ll be hard, but I have no doubt we could do it.” He said, looking up at the sky. There wasn’t a reason to not try, was there? Saiyans could stay off Earth and have a planet of their own, away from prying eyes of those who wanted Vegeta destroyed. “It’s like Earth, in a lot of ways.” He said, before looking down to Ninjin, whom he pulled close.
She mentioned she wanted a world where the Saiyans weren’t ruled by strength, and he smiled. “Me too, Ninjin. If our children never had to fight against other Saiyans… I don’t know what I would say. That sounds like a future worth working towards.” He said, before turning back to Natto, one arm still wrapped around Ninjins shoulders. “The only issue is Vi-Poi and Reikiko…” He said, sighing. “I’m sure I can talk to Vi-Poi and get him to allow you guys to stay on Earth with no trouble. He’s a good, understanding man. And given what he went through recently, I’m sure he’ll be willing to give you a second chance. Reikiko, however... I doubt I’d be able to convince her to leave you alone.”

Ninjin spoke about Reikiko, saying that she passed her and Toma rather quickly while they were enjoying their sort of retirement, getting stronger than both of them in a rather short amount of time. That made Natto frown his eyebrows. It was clear by the fiery emotion inside his black eyes that he truly hated her, and that was a sort of hatred that a person couldn’t just let go from day to night. It clang to the very soul and placed its roots really deep into the heart. To Natto, Reikiko was the ultimate enemy, and one he would never stop thinking about defeating. Then, she told her husband that the super saiyan transformation didn’t come in response to desire, it comes from a real need, and Natto nodded to that and complemented her words. – I must point out that, when I ascended to a Super Saiyan Two, I also had to endure quite a lot of emotional stress… And I only achieved such an ascended form when I thought that all hope was lost and that my friends were doomed… So, don’t worry about it, Toma! I’m sure you will reach it. – he paused, and looked towards the small saiyan babies. – You have the right motivation right here! You have a beautiful family. – he said, in an honest tone.
Ninjin seemed quite thrilled with the Ascended Super Saiyan transformation too, and he nodded to her when she said that she knew that the first form was just the beginning of their true power, and that thought made him smile. ”Maybe there’s even more… That would make sense, since there are plenty of legends saying that the Super Saiyan is the greatest warrior on the whole universe!” he couldn’t help but feel completely excited with such thought. Then the saiyan woman tried to tap into that power, bursting her energy that was quick to die, but the gold on her aura was unmistakable! It was definitely the Super Saiyan energy that still lingered deep inside of her, just waiting for the right moment, when her body regained enough strength in order to sustain it. She seemed a little frustrated when she failed to transform, but that was quite expected, since losing such a power could really become a source of sadness, but she seemed to be doing alright; a way better than Natto would be if he had lost his power. Then she began speaking about Reikiko again, and Natto immediately frowned, into a more angered expression.
She told him that she looked at him with the same hungry eyes, and that was unforgivable. ”This saiyan hating monster! I wonder why she even cares about Kaula! She is also a saiyan!” he wondered, failing to make any sense out of it. Ninjin even believed that someday she would try to absorb her like she did to that Athren guy, and Natto couldn’t forgive that either: he would never allow that to happen again. Then, she changed the subject, telling Natto to bring her mate and Kyuri to the islands, to which he nodded in agreement, smiling a little bit with the corner of his mouth.
– Don’t worry, I will, but don’t worry about us! We have some top tier equipment for both healing and training, that you two can feel free to use at any time! And I know they will embrace this idea and I look forward your help too! – he said, looking at both of them. Toma liked the idea of a Saiyan Empire ruled by will and determination, and that sent shivers down Natto spine and butterflies to take over his stomach. In fact, the three of them wanted a place to call home, where they could have some peace while keeping their race together in a healthier environment. Toma mentioned a planet that he said it was his previous home, named Sylor. The planet had been invaded by pirates, and, in order to defend it, he had to resort to turning into a Great Ape, which had a hideous side effect, as he also destroyed the planet he tried to save.
Natto arched his brows with the story and a drop of sweat ran down his temple as he recalled the first place he actually called home: Felucia. ”J-just like me…” he thought to himself, gulping as the saiyan explained about the place. It seemed possible for them to start a civilization there, but it was still too early for that, but they could work towards it, little by little, starting by creating a village or a city on the islands on the southern part of Earth. The young saiyan warrior smiled again, with a quite happy expression as Toma told him that he would go talk to Virtual Poi to vouch for him.
Natto had no doubt that the android was understanding; he had proofs of that during the invasion, but then he mentioned Reikiko and Natto sighed. He made an effort not to lose the high spirited expression on his face, and to keep smiling.
– I don’t expect her to. Like I said, we are enemies… And I’m not sure I can let go of it… As long as she lives, the saiyans will always be at risk. But I will not search for her either. We have more important things to do now! We have a bright future to build together! – he said, chuckling a little bit. – Sylor seems like a great place… The way you spoke of it made me remember the first place I called home, Felucia… It had a very similar fate too, when I rampaged as a young uncontrolled Ape, but that’s in a past long gone… - he sighed, with some sadness inside his eyes as he spoke of the jungle planet. – And thank you for offering yourself to talk to Virtual Poi. I really appreciate it. I will try to settle on an island nearby and I will also look for other saiyans that live here… Somehow this planet was a way of attracting the kind of saiyans we are looking for to join us. And I want to offer them all this dream of ours. – his tone was really kind and caring. – Then… I shall be taking my leave! I need to tell about you guys and this idea to Tomoroko and Kyuri! They will love to hear the news! – he nodded excited, as he approached his scouter and put it back on his left ear.
His expression became more determinate. – And I swear I will protect you two and your kids with all my power! I won’t have any other friend dying under my watch ever again! – he finished his speech, waiting for their reactions.
If nothing important was brought into the conversation, he would take his leave. Word Count: 1152 [Depending on the answers, may be leaving thread] Ninjin Nedrag
