Beryl visibly relaxed at the reassurance. Kanassa was still intact, even if the planet had suffered tremendous casualties and collateral damage. Even if he was a capable fighter, Beryl still became anxious and nervous whenever he was pushed into battle. It was something that he tried to avoid unless there was no other viable alternative. Training and friendly spars were fine to him though; the reason he was nervous about Abzerute was because he had a strong feeling that training with the Arcosian was going to be absolutely brutal. Arcosians were fierce and unforgiving fighters; they were easily as intimidating as the Saiyans, if not more so. Their ability to change forms at will to increase their power was a definite boon in battle, and as a human, one of the physically weakest races in the galaxy, Beryl had a lot of ground to make up. Even if he was much stronger than Abzerute at this point, Beryl was positive that Abzerute would catch up to him quickly, and the gap of power between the two would shrink dramatically.
Abzerute’s ability to talk about murder so casually made Beryl uneasy. Squirming slightly, the dark-skinned human looked left and right, a hand rising to pull at his Capsule Corporation skullcap. The black and green headgear flopped forward slightly, the brim almost close enough to cover his eyes. Once the docking station’s coordinates were received by the ship’s console, the spacecraft shifted course and blasted forward; it was on route to Aoi Brenchia’s surface. A notification flashed across the screen, estimating the expected travel time to be around eight minutes. “Stealth Drives are amazing devices. I never realized that they were capable of completely masking an entire ship, no matter how large it is,” Beryl commented, rubbing his chin. The thoughtful look on Beryl’s visage was then replaced by a blank stare. “You would have to use your … True Form to fight me?” the young man questioned. “I’ve been hearing that term a lot. Is your True Form your … natural form or something? All I know is that Arcosians have a lot of forms, and they all look different. Some Arcosians are freaking huge; others are like … my size. It’s hard for me to gauge which form gives more power honestly.”
By now, the ship had breached Aoi Brenchia’s atmosphere and continued towards the ground at high speed. A large building, complete with multiple facilities came into the view; it was the docking station. One particular building’s roof opened up, thus allowing Beryl’s ship to land safely within its confines. “Either way, I have a feeling you’re going to catch up to me very quickly, so you won’t have to worry about that too much,” Beryl said. “Besides, I really can’t transform like you can. I can increase my power but -- … it’s not really a transformation like yours.” The ship’s engine drew to a stop. Beryl peered out of the cockpit window; numerous mechanics and engineers were making their way towards the ship. “Looks like the crew’s already here,” the human informed, looking over his shoulder. “So, uh – what are we going to do while I get a new ship and everything? Were you wanting to … spar or something?” The last question had a nervous tinge to it.
